Twenty twenty five. Three agency underway. We're hearing the Miller
Electric Center in Jacksonville. A lot of new faces are
coming into town. Offensive linemen Patrick McCarey, you are one
of them. Welcome to Jacksonville. Excited to have you. What's
this process been like for you to kind of come
to a new team in why Jacksonville.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
It's been good. It's been a little bit of an
actorate week early on, but excited to be here, Excited
to get signed, be in the building, meet the coaches. Uh,
it's been good. It's an exciting organization, a lot of energy,
a lot of new staff, new players, excited to be
a part of it.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
It is a lot of changes in this offseason for
the whole team. The front office is new, we got
a new head coach and Liam Cohen was Was that
exciting to you to kind of be a part of
something from the ground up obviously being rebuilt with the
new staff that's here.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Yeah, absolutely, It's It's an exciting team. You know, a
good coaching Cohen this great football mind. I've heard a
lot about him. And just to be a part of
something that could uh change and be great. I wanted
to do that. So it's good to be here as alignman.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
I know you played a lot of different positions. You
have that versus utility When you think about kind of
coming and working with a new group, what's exciting about
that for you? Is that kind of just learning the
new people around you, bringing a little bit of your
own experience. What's exciting about that new operata?

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah? Yeah, building new relationships, you know, seeing how the
guys mess together, building new bonds with the team, especially
with the opensive line group, and uh, just seeing how
great we could be, you know, win games and be great.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Sure. Yeah, I'm gonna be protecting Trevor Lawrence. I'm sure
that's part of the decision making process. Is that always
kind of like who am we gonna be protecting? Running
around with as well? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Absolutely, you know Trevor's uh, great guy, great quarterback. Excited
to be here with him, and we have a job
to do to keep him up right and keep him clean,
to let him do his thing. Uh so that's what
we're gonna plan on doing.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Alright. What did Jacks fans need to know about you?
What are they gonna see when you take the field.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Someone that works hard? Does it the right way. UH
competes and make the fan base proud.
