Speaker 1 (00:04):
He's the Drive with Dale Lolly and Matt Williamson on
your twenty four to seven home of the Black and
Gold Steelers Nation Radio.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
And we are back. I am Dale Lolly, he is
the Matt Williamson and Matt are you ready to do
our first mock draft?
Speaker 3 (00:28):
Whoa of the I'm definitely not ready, but let's go. Well,
that's how you get ready.
Speaker 2 (00:33):
Yes, this is one of the ways that we do this.
I've I've only set this thing up to go four rounds.
We're not going to go deep, deep, deep.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Okay, but because by round four and be like, give
me the best corner.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
I don't know who yet. You know. Here's what, here's
how we're going to do this. We've got Senior Bowl round.
We get the Senior Bowl coming up in two weeks.
We got to start getting ready for that. I've been
running mock drafts now over the last few weeks as
I sit and do different stuff and just just to
learn the names and start to learn more about the players.
This is embarrassing.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
But where does the Steelers pick that's should be firmed up.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
I'm on the Pro Footballnetwork dot Com mock drafter here
there at twenty one.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
Do we know that tonight matter is that much? I
don't think it's like it does. Okay, Okay, so they're
gonna get that.
Speaker 2 (01:10):
Well, the Rams could still finish. I guess they were
a division winner though, so I'm not sure. Yeah. Yeah. Anyways,
they're picking twenty one in this particular draft, and so
one of the one of the things that I want
to do as we head into this is I'm going
to assume we've addressed some of our needs in the
off season.
Speaker 3 (01:30):
Well, I don't think they're going to go in the
draft with zero quarterbacks under contract. They're not going to
do that in April, and they're going to have some
cap cuts and there's, as always, there's gonna be a
lot of movement.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
How I would address the off season, I would sign
a veteran wide receiver. I would choose to play opposite
George Pickens, somebody with some talent, a pedigree, a pedigreeehtree. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Now, the current wide receiver free agents to be aren't wonderful,
but there are some Davante Adams that are gonna get cut,
and there's the Tyreeks that could get traded. Like, there's
always receiver movement.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Yeah, you know. So I'm going to assume that we've
acquired a veteran wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Okay, And to take it a step further, then, I
think you enter the draft with said veteran Pickens, Austin, Roman, Wilson, Austin,
Maybe bring back Scronic I mean, I mean, he's a
free agent, but he wouldn't cost you much. But like
that's kind of what your receiver room looks like going
into drafts.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
So I've had a pass catcher, Okay, I'll put the
stamp approow on that. I'm going to assume that maybe
we need a running back. Oh, I think they'll need
a running back. Yeah, Yeah, I'm going to think that's
a draft need. Yeah, I think you draft.
Speaker 3 (02:47):
That great draft for running back. We can't say that enough.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
I can't say that enough. I'm going to assume that
they've got a quarterback who is a starter caliber, starting
caliber quarterback on the draft, on the on the roster.
Beyond that, I don't know, I.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
Don't know what your exact words were, but you said
something last hour about I'm not flushing fields and Wilson. No,
let's say one of those two.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
One of the two. Ideally both are back in a
Steelers unif.
Speaker 3 (03:17):
There's somebody you can start week one, Yes, I mean
it's the typical Kevin Colbert move we've always talked.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Yeah, I mean you're gonna.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Have a quarterback that can start Week one for you
at a minimum, yes, and probably have somebody else under contract.
You probably don't have one quarterback. It might be Allan,
it might be a you know, a third string.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Guy, but whatever. Yeah. So we're working here off the
Pro Football Network dot Com and I'll go other needs field.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Other than that, Yeah, yeah, I think there's a really
good chance in outside corner.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Or defensive lineman. Yeah, you know, there's all there's all
different ways you can go. So the first the first
picks here, should or Sanders goes to the Titans, Camera
Ward to the Browns, Travis Hunter goes to the Giants,
Abdull Carter the Patriots, Malachi Starks to the Jaguars, Mayson
Graham to the Oakland or Oakland Las Vegas Raiders. Mikel Williams,
(04:10):
the ed rusher out of Georgia, goes to the Jets.
James Pearce, the edge rusher out of Carolina, goes to
the I'm doing this backwards here James Pearcy, edge rusher
out of Tennessee, goes to Carolina. Nick Scourton, edge rusher
from Texas A and M goes to the Saints ed rusher,
plus a lot of defensive players there. Chavon Revel, the
(04:34):
cornerback out of East Carolina goes to Chicago. Luther Burden
at eleven to San Francisco. That's first receiver. That's first
receiver's right eleven. Kelvin Banks, offensive tackle from Texas, goes
to the Cowboys. Tyler Warren, tight end from Penn State,
goes to Miami. Will Campbell, offensive tackle from LSU, goes
(04:54):
to the Colts. Vitoria McMillan goes to the Atlanta Falcons
at fifteen receiver out of Arizona. At sixteen, Tyler Booker,
guard from Alabama goes to the Cardinals. Ashton Genty, running
back from Boise goes to Cincinnati.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Just if I'd see that fit with considering their needs,
but fine.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
Cameron Williams, offensive tackle from Texas goes to Seattle. Imecca Ibuka,
the wide receiver from Ohio State, goes at nineteen to Tampa.
Jaylen Walker, the linebacker out of Georgia, goes at twenty
to Denver. Okay, so.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
We're the Steelers have not done anything at corner hypothetically. Hypothetically,
they basically have only added a receiver and kept a quarterback.
We're just gonna go with that, and obviously we know
there's gonna be more than that. Yeah, my top priorities
would be I want a Joey Porter clone. I'm gonna
(05:59):
be physical, beat you up at the line of scrimmage,
Manda man corner. I want Vita veya Hellodi Nada, not
Casey Hampton. But I want a big middle of the
presence athlete that makes Benton Myogunjobi, who I think will
probably be released frankly, and any offensive playmaker would be
(06:23):
welcome as well.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
Now it's our first one. I don't know if we're
taking we take Milrow here. I think we just don't
go down that rud not yet.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
No, I think we.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Don't have address quarterback in the first round.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, it kind of kills the drill, right. You know, Well,
there is somebody out there in this particular mock draft
who fits the bill as a player who might be
a very very good pro. Can't believe he's actually still available.
But we've only seen one cornerback taken okay thus far,
(06:58):
and that would be Chevelle Rip Chavon Ravel, the cornerback
at East Carolina. He's huge.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
He's huge. Yeah, I think he missed some time this year,
but he looks like Porter.
Speaker 2 (07:07):
He's a monster.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah yeah, But Will Johnson, the Michigan dudees not pick
it coming from the.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Michigan is there. Speaking of guys who were here, he's
six two two.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Oh two and very much looked like a top five
type of pick. I don't know what the warts are
other than injury since they won the national title and
he was one of the best players in the country.
But he's exactly what I.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Want come to Papah. Yeah, it happened with Heath Miller again.
You get a guy with an injury, maybe he doesn't
work out in the offset. I'm watching the tape. I'm
watching last year's tape. All right, that's that's yeah. Yeah,
that's a guy who can come in and play right away,
make an impact.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
And Trice is then your three. I mean like that,
in case of injury, he's still gonna get time. Maybe
one of these guys can be the slot here and there.
Not even worry about slot this time. Just give me
the things that are hard to find, big badass man
and man corners.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Yeah, the other things. The other guy's still available, Colson Loveland,
the tight end out of Michigan.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
I don't hate adding playmakers.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
I don't hate that either. And I know people, Well
you got Pat Frearmouth, Yeah yeah, well okay, but I've
already added a veteran wide receiver. I got George Pickens.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
And this veteran wide receiver is not five eight no.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, but if I can go get a second tight end,
another pass cat I'm looking just for past catchers, guys
who will score touchdowns. Yea, guys who score touchdowns will
prevent touchdowns. And none of the wide receivers beyond those
top three guys are am I super excited about?
Speaker 3 (08:43):
Yeah what I've known, I'm not even sure Abuka I
would run to the podium.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
For Yeah, because he's more of a slot yeah yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:51):
So so like hypothetically, if the Penn State tight ends there,
you'd be pretty interested. He's a pass catcher. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
he's not Pat Fry know how much twelve and thirteen
they play?
Speaker 2 (09:01):
Yeah, and people might say, well, you can't look at
the Ravens offense.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Not bad, not bad, And we had to play a lot,
a lot of two tight ends.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Look at what the Patriots did with two tight ends
a decade ago. I mean, look at me. He snaps
prough it played.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
And if I can replace them with a much more talented,
dynamic pass catcher, I mean you're splitting.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
I don't care if he has a TE next to
his name or w R.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
I don't care. Does he catch the ball, does he
score touchdowns? He doesn't bother me.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Benjamin Morrison, the cornerback at a Notre Dame, is still there.
He's a good player.
Speaker 3 (09:39):
Yeah, please watch him next Monday. Well he's hurt. Yeah,
you got some defensive tackles. Derek Harmon from Oregon, the
safety from South Carolina, Nick Mwari, Morian Hampton, the running
back out of North Carolina.
Speaker 2 (09:53):
Another playmaker. And people say, oh, don't you don't take
running backs in the first round? That guy special. And
if the guy is special, I don't care what position
he plays.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
It's an awesome running back draft. Again, subject would change
my opinion because I have not done a ton of homework.
There looks like there's two special backs though.
Speaker 2 (10:14):
Yeah, the twenty seventeen draft was loaded with running backs.
If you look back at that, there were ten guys
in that draft I think who had a thousand yard
seasons in their career. That's a McCaffrey. Nobody's saying that
the Christian McCaffrey at three in that draft was a
bad pick. Agreed, Agreed, Like if he if a guy
that both runs and catches the ball, well, okay, does
(10:36):
he change your offense? Yeah? Hampton would, Hampton would change
your offense.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
He is a strong case.
Speaker 2 (10:43):
He is a very good player. Uh, you got Tyleek Williams,
the defensive tackle out of Ohio State. Again, Phil's indeed,
Walter Nolan out of Ole Miss Really Phil's yeah, Phil's
in need. There's so there's some guys there, But in
this particular draft, I think you take will Johnson.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
Yea, yeah, yeah, from what I know about all these dudes. Again,
we do this every year. A month from now, we
might laugh at this month like look what we thought then?
We just don't know yet, But I think the way
that sets up, it's exactly what I want.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yeah, And people say, well another defensive player you got
to go offense. Offense offense. Well, we're assuming that they've
added a stud wide receiver or a good wise quality
starting or better right to play opposite.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
They spent money at the receiver.
Speaker 2 (11:26):
Yeah, and you know who might that be? Well, I
mean Chris Goblin would certainly look good. Maybe Christian Kirk
gets cut loose this offseason. They've got seven wide, their
top seven wide receivers in Jacksonville are all back. We're
not going to keep all seven. No, no, no, he got
a new coaching staff coming in, you.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Know, yeah, a quality starter.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
Yeah, minimum.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
I didn't even mention our trade offers there, but we
would run. We would run to the podium to take Yeah,
I'm saying this instant. I don't think we need to
be trading in. No, I don't think so either. Rounding
out a roster.
Speaker 2 (11:57):
Yeah, we're just first try with this whole.
Speaker 3 (11:59):
Thing, all right, Yeah, take the take the corner.
Speaker 2 (12:01):
We're up at fifty two. The top players available. Kenneth Grant,
the defensive tackle out of Michigan. He would be a
really really good fit.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
He would be a nice fit. Yes, room together, there
you go. It's important national champions. You're adding to that pedigree.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Uh, this guy's interesting. Running back Caleb Johnson out of Iowa. Yeah,
he fits the old too.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
He is a very reserve and really really good too.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Arianta Ursery the offensive tackle out of Minnesota. J T. Toomea, Yeah,
Tooey Mololo, he doesn't really fit.
Speaker 3 (12:37):
No, No, he's probably a four to three D about Yeah.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Yeah. Quinn Yours quarterback out of Texas. Doesn't really excite me.
I'm just gonna Jackson dart from will miss the quarterback there. Uh.
Isaiah Bond the wide receiver out of Texas. But we've already.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Fast but small Yeah, small dinner.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Right, Yeah. Quinn Shawn Judkins, running back out of Ohio State.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
I probably at this second prefer the other back, but
it's nice to know those guys are there.
Speaker 2 (13:08):
Those guys are available. Yeah. Jalen Royal is a wide
receiver out of Utah State. Is an interesting guy for me.
He was again missed a large portion of this season.
Six foot two o five, really good route runner and
that's something that they've really liked over these was very
very good last year, his first I think he played
(13:33):
the first four games this year. I think he had
like thirty catches in the first four games this year
and then had a foot injury. So just forbody to
keep an eye on there from Utah State, Jalen Royals.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
Yeah, yeah, he seems like they're type of guy.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Yeah. I think in this situation though, you take Kenneth
Grant me too, Me too.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Now I wouldn't have thought first two picks on defense,
but boy, this is going.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
To be two butt kickers, and you're gonna be sick.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Of the folks are gonna be sick of me saying this.
But I think one of your pass to beating the
Mahomes of the world is having the best defense in
the league and leading the league in sacks, but more importantly,
leading the league in quarterback hits. And I don't want
TJ getting doubled and tripled anymore, right, And if I
have corners, I'm bringing six and Burrow's getting hit and
(14:22):
he's gonna beat me once in a while and that's fine,
but he might not finish the game either.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
Remember the idea when we went into this is you're
not gonna be able to get a transitional or a
trans a quarter a transcendent quarterback. You're not. So how
is the best way to combat that.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
I mean, you have the pass rushers you need to
like be the best pass rusher.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
I want Blitzburg back.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Yeah, and but the only way I can do that
is with another corner.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
So we've taken cornerback defensive tackle nose ish. I mean,
by the way, people don't know who he is. He's
a big body guy thoses who can still rush to
pass despite Yeah, okay, we're cruising here. That's our first
two picks. We've gotten really big and physical on defense here,
even more so. All right, we're coming up here with
(15:13):
our third pick. It's at eighty three.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
I don't know how we'd go defense here.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
I yeah, I don't. I don't know that it can be.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
The other defensive spot that I'd even consider is a
safety that can play the slot or a Saint or
still type slot.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
You know. But I think this has to be offense. Yeah,
so the top players available who are offensive players, Well,
Kyraen Lacy is the first guy on there, but he
just got arrested for running somebody over and or wrecking
his car and killing somebody. So that's not going to
happen from what LSU. Ricky White wide receiver out of
UNLV all right, Elijah or Rojo the tight end from Miami.
(15:54):
Interesting player, but I don't know that that's the way
we can Yeah with he has cam Ward thrown him
the ball against college football play, I mean I think
he's good. Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (16:08):
I like your thoughts on tight ends, but my hunch
is if you're gonna go tight end in the draft,
you better go big or go home.
Speaker 2 (16:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
You know, like, does that guy see the field for
the Steelers that much? Probably not his rookie year, right,
you know where? Yeah, the Penn State dude would this?
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Yeah, this almost has to be a running back at this.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Point soon for sure. Yeah, I mean at a minimum.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
So your top running backs available are Ollie Gordon from
Oklahoma State.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
He was at the top of the lists a year
ago and I apparently had a rough year.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
DJ Giddens from k State, Kyle Manogha Mononagae from Rutgers,
Phil Offa from Clemson, Raheem Sanders from South Carolina, Dylan
Samson from Tennessee, Cam Scatibow from Arizona State, Devin Neil
from Kansas, TODJS Brooks from Texas Tech. He got Trevor
(17:00):
atn from Georgia. What's crazy is.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
I think something we'll agree on is you're gonna have
to be big enough to ride the ride, to be
a running without a doubt, without a taking a two
hundred pounder, he doesn't have to be nausea, but he
better be close in terms of dimensions, size, physicality, AFC northness.
So I don't know what the magic number is, but
I would say two twenty or heavier, give or take.
Speaker 2 (17:28):
Well Ollie Gordon's six twenty.
Speaker 3 (17:30):
Five and from what I Again, I don't know these
players well enough, but you listed eight of them. I
bet several of them fit the bill. Yeah, I mean
they're not all scat back little dudes.
Speaker 2 (17:40):
Giddons from k Stage is six one two twelve. Mcgonagay
is five nine two nine.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
That's likely built though, I mean again, I have to
know the players better, but they better be physical pile movers.
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Yeah, Sampson from from Uh then I'll have a little
height and weight. Listen here to Samsung from Tennessee. Though
I think he's like two fifteenish. He's yeah, very interesting
to me. Yeah, I think he's got Here's the other
(18:15):
thing that I want from my running back vision vision
vision visions.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
Yeah, yeah, especially if you're well, you're gonna be You're
gonna be a heavy zone team. That's a vision thing.
You know, gap runs, you hit the B gap no
matter what zone. It's user vision.
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
I think that's a very high on the list component.
Speaker 2 (18:37):
That's the meaning why scatter Bow is very interesting. Oh yeah,
I think he's got great contact balance and vision.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Now to play Devil's advocate, I gotta think somebody's.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
There around from now.
Speaker 3 (18:53):
Okay, I mean, I'm not saying we don't take a
running back here, but this is a deep running back draft.
And this is another thing I haven't mentioned to you too,
but it wouldn't shock me at all if the Steelers
add two, take one in the third or fourth round,
and then either spend money on undrafted free agent or
your seventh round picks that back with a fifth round grade.
(19:16):
And I say that because mel Kiper, who's been doing
this a long time, he said, I got thirty five
backs with a gradeable you know, yeah, a draftable grade
on them. Well, thirty five backs aren't getting drafted by
thirty two teams.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Well here's the here's so where it gets a little interesting. Now,
we talked about the quarterback class and how it's not
great at the top. But I do think there's some
guys in the middle rounds who fit the bill in
terms of what you're looking for, in terms of guys
who have a lot of starts under their belt, or
you know, have some athletics traits that you could possibly
(19:51):
work with. It could be long term starters down the road. Okay,
so the guy's still available here. Will Howard from Ohio
State interesting. Curtis Rourke from Indiana found out that he
played the entire season with a torn acl and played
well for Indiana, and he's a mac guy that they
(20:11):
should know plenty and plenty about him. Dylan Gabriel from Oregon.
He has a ton of starts, but he's tiny, little.
I don't love little, yeah. Kyle McCord from Syracuse, pure
pocket passer with it again, a ton of starts under
his belt.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
Are you looking if you were to take one of
those quarterbacks or even another, are you swinging for the
fences that one of them might be a star, or
are you looking at one leg there'll be a solid
backup for ten years.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
I'm looking for a star. I'm looking for somebody who
might be my starter for the next ten years after
a year and be the answer.
Speaker 3 (20:48):
Yeah, I agree. I don't want to take Mason Rudolph.
Yeah you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
Yeah, any of those guys excite you at all of time?
Speaker 3 (21:03):
You O high state kids sort of did. The first
two you mentioned were Howard and Rourke. Yeah, we're of interest.
I wouldn't mind taking a tackle either.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
I mean, I know the playmakers are in need, but
a project tackle that might.
Speaker 2 (21:19):
Be your swing guy.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
I think one more O lineman is going to be
needed in some way, shape or form.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Well, the best guys available there are Gray's Abel from
North Dakota State. North Dakota State tackles scream project tackle
exactly and they often hit. They often hit. Ernest Green
from Georgia, Blake Miller from Clemson and j Cornelius from Oregon,
Anthony Belton from NC State, Charles Grant from William and Mary.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Did we dis drafted Charles Grant? We did, But those
type of guys certainly interest me. Coach them up. Do
we know if Aton who's a tackle? I mean, maybe
he's a guard someday. I think I think he is too.
But another tackle doesn't break my heart just with the
extra pick. I must stay on the table frame those dudes.
(22:10):
But I think that's something you can never be short on.
You want to go with the running back?
Speaker 2 (22:20):
Got your choice? You know who do you like of
that group?
Speaker 3 (22:26):
I don't know them well enough. Somebody with size and physicality.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
There's a lot of that.
Speaker 3 (22:33):
M I don't take you Arizona State dude.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Pretty easy to root for, Pretty easy to root for.
Speaker 3 (22:39):
And I mean he brings a lot of attitude and
a lot of physicality, and.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
He would be an instant star in Pittsburgh. There'd be
a lot of Jerseys walking around, there'd be a lot
of scatter. He'll be that wherever he goes, because just
because of the style that he plays. But I think
he's a kind of exactly what they're looking for. I know,
I was listening to who.
Speaker 3 (23:02):
The PFF dude Trevor who joined us, Yeah, and he
was doing the running back breakdown and he's like, I'm
watching Scatabo and I'm watching him, and I'm going, is
this guy just try harder than everybody else?
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Is that why he's good?
Speaker 3 (23:16):
And he meant it as a negative, like that's not
gonna work in the NFL. And he's like, then I
watched like five games and yeah, and it's gonna work
in the NFL.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
Yeah. You know who loves Scatabo, Max Starks loves Scatbo.
Arizona connection. I was he had done dat, but he
had done he had done some games, some Arizona State
games and on the radio, and I asked him about
Scatty was with guys.
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean him and Warren is a
nice backfield.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
You got a lot of attitude, yeah, right right, Not
that Nase doesn't. Nause has the attitude, no question. He
is a hard ass runner. But he might be on
another team at this point. Yeah, all right, let's take Scatabo.
We took Scatabo. So now we're up at one twenty three.
Any of those quarterbacks, Silva, Curtis Rourke is still there,
cal McCord is still there.
Speaker 3 (24:03):
I mean, that's better than Alan. I mean, if that's
your three, might be your two. I'm talking about on
opening day, it's not gonna be your one.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
The thing to me about Rourke, he elevated a program
that's that huge feather had no business being in the
college football playoffs. Yeah, yeah, and it was because of him.
Speaker 3 (24:22):
I mean like ritterd did that with Cincinnati. Yeah, well
he didn't work out in the pros. But that's hard
to do. It's really hard to do it. And there's
a lot of instances of that. I don't know problem
with that now the other receiver of interest. The other
guy's available right now, Ollie Gordon is still there. May Yeah,
I mean, I know there would have been backs we
(24:43):
like in this spot.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Shamar Turner, the defensive tackle out of Texas A and
M too, Malachi Moore safety out of Alabama. Luke Lachie
the tight end out of Iowa. Can never go wrong
taking a tight end from Iowa.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
His dad was a Pro Bowl offensive tackle. Yeah, Jim Leche, Yeah,
six six fifty three. You could convince me of a
tight end or a safety.
Speaker 2 (25:08):
I'm not seeing. Yeah, I'm not seeing a lot of
receivers are pretty well picked over here at this point.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
You said this, and it seems like it's true. It
doesn't seem as deep a receiver class. No heavy, Yeah,
it's a Dokay receiver class. It's always going to be.
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Yeah. I just don't see anything there. I don't know
if Malachim More out of a Bama has any slut capability.
Speaker 3 (25:33):
And he doesn't have to I mean, right make it
could play slot or you know.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
Because the other thing is is de Monte Kaz. Now,
you do have the draft pick from last year, the
Texas kid coming back missed the entire rookie seasons. Rookie season,
but he's been there the entire year in that locker
room learning. So maybe you have some high hopes.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
You really have four draft picks that are going to
be rookies next year.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Yeah, yeah, that doesn't hurt.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
Drinking, right. I know they like Logan le too, by
the way.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Yeah yeah yeah. So to me, I think you go quarterback,
you take the tight end, or we look back at
the tackle.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
I know about Lache, I like him. I think the
Iowa state and his dad's a Pro Bowl left tackle. Uh.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
You tackles are Austin Barber from Florida, Marcus Mabou from Purdue,
Jack Nelson from Wisconsin, J C. Davis from Illinois.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Again, I don't know this class for crap, but I
know draft after draft, if you don't take a tackle
now you might as well not. Yeah, I mean, like
they don't. Day three tackles aren't worth your time.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
You know.
Speaker 3 (26:36):
I mean they're they're they're dried up.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Yeah, it's it's gotten. I mean those guys aren't even
ranked high on the list at this point. You'd be
reaching basically for that.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
I like any of those picks, Rourke Lche or best
tackle available.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
Let's take Lache.
Speaker 3 (26:53):
Okay, we like the physical.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
We like to play with a lot of tight ends
on the field. I don't have to go with an
another retread there. I can get another young guy in
the room.
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Let's say it's not an expensive room at all. Fine
with that.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
And are we done? That does it for the draft?
We came out of that with Will Johnson, the cornerback
out of Michigan, Kenneth Grant, a defensive tackle out of Michigan,
Cam Scattabo running back from Arizona State, and tight end
Luke Lachi from Iowa.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
Fie I may for test run number one. We got
a lot to talk through there as well. Yeah, yeah,
which is why we do this. That's why we do
it right, learn the names and discuss the how the
puzzle starts to fit together. Absolutely, usually this time of
year the puzzles clunky. But they also would have added
more free agency than just a receiver and brought back quarterback.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
Yeah, they can. They have just over fifty million dollars
in cap space as we sit here right now. They
can easily create enough cap space to get up over
eighty million pretty easily.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
Which I bet they will. Yeah, so that's.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Where we're at. Let's get to a break. He is
the Matt Williamson. I am Dale Lolly. You're listening to
the Drive here on the Steelers Audio Network. We will
talk more about the season in general and where the
Steelers go after this when we come back on the Drive.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
At least is the Drive with Dale Lolly and Matt
Williamson on your twenty four to seven Home of the
Black and Gold cast in Steelers Nation Radio.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
And we are back. I am Dale LOLLI he is
the Matt Williamson and this is the Drive on the
Steelers Audio Network. And of course you can hear the
Drive every Monday through Friday from four to six pm.
Including Well, we're gonna run this into well into the
off season. Here. We're gonna go at least through the
start of free agency, and heck, by the time we
(28:54):
get the free agency it's almost draft time. Right then
it's OTA's we're back on the air on a regular basis.
There's no time off.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Time off is Yeah, there's not much. There's a lot
going on and it's game tonight. I mean there's there's
all kinds of stuff going on.
Speaker 2 (29:08):
And we'll talk about that game tonight in our final
segment today.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
But one of coaching hires today, coaching fire, I mean,
all kinds of there's always something to So.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Today was kind of a locker clean out day at
the Steelers facility for the players were available and T J.
Watt spoke and one of the things that he mentioned,
he's like first voice says, look, somebody asked me if, hey,
you know, do you do you foresee yourself being a Steeler?
And he says, I want to be here my entire career.
(29:36):
I want to be part of the solution to what
we do. I want to help Cam Hayward get to
where he needs to go. And and I thought he
was very very good with that, and so you know what,
how do you do that? What would be different?
Speaker 3 (29:50):
And he said, you know what, I could be more
open to moving around on defense. He said, I you know,
I kind of balked at that in years past because
he likes to rush.
Speaker 2 (30:03):
From that left side better. And I think part of
it too, is that he doesn't want to feel like
he's above the other like, oh, I got to flip
sides with Alex here because I want to get this rush.
Well high Smith's going on the other side as well.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
Yeah, yeah, or I gotta do this, except TJ doesn't
want to. Yeah, that kind of stuff, you know, the
Steam guys he always is, yeah, he said, But it's interesting.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
But it did make it very easy lining up strictly
almost strictly on the left side, for teams to take
him out of the game.
Speaker 3 (30:35):
Absolutely, And it's just becomes such a trend that you
move guys around. I mean, that's what the league is doing.
The guys I think are the best or Crosby, Bosa, Parsons, Garrett,
they don't line up at one spot.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
But one of the things that those guys have to
watch point they don't have the second guy right, they're
the guy.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
Hendrickson's like the only one that always aligns right. Yeah,
and he still is productive. Good for him and as
this TJ. But I think it would free him up
more and.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
It would make them more difficult to scheme against.
Speaker 3 (31:10):
You just know where he's Yeah, I mean, if I'm
going to keep a tight end to the right, I'm
gonna keep a running back to the right.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
I know what I'm getting right, And I would I
would muddle huddle it a little bit more. Not Hey, TJ.
You don't line up until you know there's ten seconds
left on the clock and then let them try to
adjust to where you're.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
At and just force their hand a little bit more,
play fast pre snap all that.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
It's almost a Troy Paula Malu like thing. And you
know where's he at? Well, he's over here. Well when
the ball snapped, he's over there. Yeah, you know. It
just makes it so hard on the on the offense
if you if you.
Speaker 3 (31:42):
Move that, you think about, yeah, the offense, and if
you get let's say, over the course of the season
you do that, he's moving around more and you force
three timeouts and two false starts or three timeouts and
the clock play clock runs out because they didn't get that,
that didn't get that done in time. I mean it
(32:02):
might sound like nothing, but if you force three more
one on one blocks for TJ watta game, that's only
thirty six or that's not thirty six. That's more than
that three times about twelve game season in the nineteen
seventy two. But still, I mean, that's going to result
in a lot of production. I mean, he has an
(32:25):
unbelievably difficult road to the quarterback and if you can
make it any easier, to be honest, that's why I'm
stressing so much on this man corners, because if you
bring six, he's against a back once in a while,
you know, I just you don't have to blitz to
rush the passer. This group doesn't. It's so good. But
if I can, no matter what I can do to
(32:46):
get him one on ones, it's gonna result in good stuff.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
Yeah, I just know that. Yeah, And so you know
that's one thing that the Steelers can do moving forward
to be better in these kinds of r what's your
best players in positions to make plays?
Speaker 3 (33:03):
And I don't think he ever said no, I'll never
do it, but he was really comfortable in one spot,
and they moved them there for a reason.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
It might be time to look at me. And you know,
prior to the season, he had been really, really good,
and he was good this season, right, Let's not pretend
that he wasn't.
Speaker 3 (33:17):
No, I don't think he's declining, but it just made
him It made him too easy.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
And yes, offenses had to designate two or three players
to doing it.
Speaker 3 (33:25):
Right, so he had immense value even if he wasn't
swatting passes are getting sacks.
Speaker 2 (33:30):
But I think it could be better if you move
start moving him around a little bit.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
Absolutely, And some of it's even I don't know.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
Eagles are a great example.
Speaker 3 (33:39):
They have two really good tackles, but maybe high Smith's
better against Lane than he is Malata, you know what
I mean, it's the other guy involved too, like or
maybe they're a bad example because they have two really
good tackles, but there's a right tackle doing a decent
job against Watt who's a really good player, but his stylistically,
(34:01):
I'm not explaining this. Well, high Smith and Water are
different players, you know, like maybe their strength would work
out better against the right tackle as opposed to the
left tackle. Look out, Yeah, I mean, like bud Dupree
was a power rusher. Well maybe the right tackle doesn't
deal with power rushers and you flop them and those.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
You know what I'm saying. Just like, play the strengths.
Play the strengths make yourself more difficult to defend and
their scheme against. And I think that goes a long
way because it allows you to just be more as
Mike Tomlin likes to say, thoughtfully, non rhythmic exactly.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
I think the defense got way to rhythmic. Yeah, and that.
Speaker 2 (34:40):
Made it easier to.
Speaker 3 (34:42):
Beat the talents there. But you need to put those
guys in better positions.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
Yeah. Again, we mentioned getting more pass catchers, more guys
who catch the football, and I think that's going to
be the that's going to be the emphasis I think
of the entire offseason getting this offense to a point
where it I don't care who the quarterback is. Yeah,
you got to have more pass catchers.
Speaker 3 (35:07):
More playmaking receivers of any sort.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (35:10):
I think that's they're lacking, you know. I mean, I
think they would be the first to tell you they're lacking.
I think they tried to address it. It didn't all
worked out brilliantly, you know, And I'm not sure trading
for Ayuk would have mattered or any of those things.
But I think that they're not done or I don't
think it's an organizational philosophy of we're okay there, we'll
just cut corners. A pass catcher, I don't think I
(35:32):
think this off seats will be very different that way.
Speaker 2 (35:34):
Yeah, I think so as well. And again I think
that has to be a veteran wide receiver, not just
because you can't you can't guess what you're going to
get into the in the draft and whether that guy's
going to make an immediate impact. Sometimes they do, sometimes
they don't. Right, I don't want to guess.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
It's a good place to shop, but it's not fool proof.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
Yeah, you know, I mean think of where we were
at last year on Roman Wilson. After the raft. Well, okay,
he'll come in and catch fifty passes, right then he
didn't and he didn't, right, Yeah, because he was you know,
you just don't know you're getting a you're getting a
complete unknown.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
In many cases, Patriots took Polk early. He looked like
a really safe double.
Speaker 2 (36:13):
And sixteen catches all year. Struggled all right, the uh
the kid for who did I see yesterday? They played yesterday?
Now I'm trying to remember Tampa McMillan. McMillan's okay, there's
Millan's been good. Yeah, there was a lot of these
guys there was another rookie that that really didn't do.
I'm trying to think of one of those games that
(36:33):
I saw.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
I man, kay On Coleman hasn't lit the world on fire. Yeah,
there's been a couple of them. Was the first round
pick Pierce aw I didn't like the world on fires.
First round pick. Worthy hasn't let the world on fires,
first round pick. You know, I don't think those teams
are unhappy with them. I mean, it's shopping on Day
one and two. You'll get receivers, but I think they
need an instant fix.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
Yeah, you need somebody that can come in and make
an impact, not just on.
Speaker 3 (36:56):
The fields, some leadership too.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
But some Yeah I want to I want to veteran
guy in that in that wide receiver room. And you know,
it has to be somebody with some gravitas, somebody who's
done some stuff in the league.
Speaker 3 (37:11):
Into a Pro Bowl, counter passes whatever.
Speaker 2 (37:13):
You know, like this is how, this is how you
do this stuff. Ye, And it's George Pickens on the
football field, and he's not been a problem off the field.
I think there's a miss there's.
Speaker 3 (37:23):
A misconception he's not getting arrested and.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
You know, yeah, he's not doing bad stuff off the field.
He's doing what he needs. He's just George don't do
you know, we don't need There's still volatility. Yeah, there's
still volatility there that you know, somebody to talk him
down off the off the leg at times.
Speaker 3 (37:41):
Like Heyward Bay provided a lot of that. Now, he
wasn't a premier one or two receiver, but he had
value behind the scenes too. I was a former first
round pick, came in the league, thought I could like
the world on fire, had to reinvent myself as a gunner,
special team or you know, listen to me, kiddo. I
might be able to teach you a thin or two
right let alone, if it's someone that's a high end player.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
Yeah, so I think that that's a big part of
this as well.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
You know, it's gonna be easier said than done. There's
a lot of teams that could use receivers that are
going to be competing. It's easy just to say, oh,
they'll sign Chris Godwin. Well, the Patriots and Chargers might
have something to say about some.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
Other teams, right Yeah. I don't think they're going to
go out and you know, blow the blow the entire
one let's go get T Higgins. Yeah, you know, I know,
every thinking more and more he's going to stay in
sin too, Everybody, I gotta go get T Higgins. Got
it's gonna be thirty plus million dollars and it'd.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Be a wonderful edition. Yeah, you also got to beat
the Patriots and Chargers and other teams on them. Everybody
else feels the same way. Since he might just franchise
them again. They could, they could. I don't think that
would be the right move for them, right right, they could,
they could. So anyways, it's easy to aim big in
free agency in January. Yes, let's just look at the list.
Speaker 2 (38:54):
Who's the top two? I think take both of those guys.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
Yeah, some of them don't even hit free agency. Yeah,
we'll take the top Wader receiver, We'll take the top
running back.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
We'll do the Byron market in the corner. Get him
to understand it works that way in Madden. You know,
so everybody thinks that's the way it works. It's not
thirty other teams thinking the same thing. Yeah, and the
player has to want to. Let's say he's been a
West Coast guy his entire life. Maybe he doesn't want
to move to the East Coast.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
Sure, sure, you know he doesn't like your scheme or
whatever it is right where he's you know, I really
like it. My wife really likes it. Where I'm at,
I don't. I'll take less money to stay here my kids.
I want to go back home. I want to go
back to where I you know, I grew up at.
The team that has them doesn't plan to let them go.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
There's always that too.
Speaker 3 (39:32):
These guys get signed before it even happens.
Speaker 2 (39:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:34):
Now there also will be players that are cut. Yes,
they aren't on the list yet, you.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
Know, so all that stuff was still going to happen here.
But I just thought that was interesting that what said
that today? Yeah, great, and uh, you know, we'll see
where that that continues to develop here as the off
season goes on. He is Matt Williamson. I'm Dale Lawley.
You're listening to The Drive here on the Steelers Audio Network.
Of course you can also get to Drive on the
Steelers Mobile app and watch our show on YouTube as well.
(40:00):
We always appreciate that. We'll be back with more right
after this.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
He's the Drive with Dale, Lolly and Matt Williamson on
your twenty four to seven, home of the Black and
Gold Steelers Nation Radio.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
Welcome back. I am Dale Lolly, he is the Matt
Williamson and Matt. We got a couple of tweets here
from people. First of all, Michael Edesso, big fan, He's
a good dude. Yeah yeah, retweeted that the Steelers are
actually locked in at number twenty one. That's done there,
that's done. So it's Tampa Bay, then Denver and Pittsburgh.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
Okay of the eliminated playoffs. Yeah, gotcha.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
And then Steelers retro asks listening to today's drive, is
corner more of a need in the draft than a
dynamic offensive playmaker? I think it's a conversation, I really do.
That's when we talked about that. We said, Okay, we're
already assuming that we've gone out and signed a wide receiver,
(41:09):
right somebody?
Speaker 3 (41:10):
Yeah, yeah, and they may have signed a corner too.
I mean, the two spots that I quarterback aside two
spots i'd consider spending money and a reasonably big picket item.
Maybe not Higgins or Dion Sander. I mean, like its
corner and receiver. Yeah, I mean I think that those
are being lovely to knock out one or both before
the draft of I really like this new edition. Yeah,
(41:33):
I don't know which is bigger. I would probably say
receiver just in terms of what you have on the roster,
But at the moment, Corey Trice is your number two
who I'm kind of excited about, but I'm not trusting.
And frankly, I think the missing component of playing defense
schematically the way you want to is a second man to.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
Man corner, a second man to man corner. And I
wouldn't mind a guy even if he is a guy
that lines up outside in your base defense and then
bumps inside and you're.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
Is capable like a Marlin Humphrey, Yeah type of player. Right,
they can do both, That would be great, especially you're
gonna spend money on one, right, right, Right, No, I
think that's in the cards or should be strongly considered.
Speaker 2 (42:14):
Yeah, looking at the news of the day, there's a lot. Yeah,
there's a little bit there because, uh, well, Mike McCarthy
out in Dallas.
Speaker 3 (42:27):
Strangely, I can't think of a situation where he's a
true free agent.
Speaker 2 (42:32):
You know, it's not we fired you. His contract runs
out tomorrow, right.
Speaker 3 (42:37):
They're just not going to extend him. You know, like
it sounded like they want to hit him with the
franchise tag, you know, keep him on a one year deal,
a two year deal.
Speaker 2 (42:45):
He's like, no, I understandably, he wants I won a
lot of games this league.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
I want a long term contract because for people don't know,
ninety nine percent of the time when a coach gets fired,
they get paid next year. Right, they can go to
the beach and still get a check or whatever, and
they can do whatever they want.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
If Kingsbury is still getting paid by Arizona to be
the offensive coordinator for the Washington Commanders, Yeah, right, right.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
McCarthy is a free agent. You know, we're here's a
contract offer. And I kind of thought a bit of
a Dallas trend. They're a little late to sign their
premier spots.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
They like to wait.
Speaker 3 (43:17):
Yeah, they were late on DAK, they were late on Lamb,
and they were late on this. Whether they wanted to
bring them back or not.
Speaker 2 (43:23):
Yeah, absolutely. The Eagles lost linebacker Nakobe Dean for the
rest of the playoffs, and that wines in the next year.
It sounds like, yeah, well you tearing it late injury.
They have an injury like that at this point in
the year, it's usually wait, wait.
Speaker 3 (43:36):
Maybe I'm missing, But did any of the other teams
that advanced lose anybody of note, Not that I'm aware of,
you know, like the big injuries the.
Speaker 2 (43:45):
Teams they're playing. Yeah, I can't think of any that.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
I don't think the Ravens got hit with anybody. I
don't remember the Bills getting hit hard. But Dean's a
big loss.
Speaker 2 (43:51):
Now that's a huge one. Speaking of those kind of injuries.
I had a chance to talk to Troy Foltano today
really and he was chomping at the bit. Uh. He
is fired up. Said he's going to be ready for
OTAs aw really looking forward to getting back to playing
football because he hasn't gotten to do.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
It much this year. Maybe we're getting ahead of ourselves.
But do you think he's now a left tackle? Uh?
Speaker 2 (44:16):
He was asked about that and he said he's under it.
They haven't talked yeah, yeah stuff yet. He said he's
he's going into this assuming that that, you know, he's
going to be working at right tackle, which is where
he was working as a rookie. I mean, no one's
told him otherwise, right, and that stuff wouldn't have taken
place yet.
Speaker 3 (44:32):
Then no, no, it's too early for that.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
Exit interviews and everything.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
If he got interviewed, someone had to ask something along
those lines. But there you go. Yeah, that's great. He's
ready to rock.
Speaker 2 (44:42):
And Mike Rabol today introduced as the new head coach
of the New England Patriots. Shocking, well, nobody, nobody.
Speaker 3 (44:49):
I mean, he's a good football coach. He's got a
lot of work to do. Yeah, a lot of work
to do. Not going to be easy. We'll get a
game tonight, Matt, Yeah, who you like? I think the Vikes.
I expect this one to be close, though. I think
this's could be a lot like Bucks Commanders, kind of
down to the wire. But I'm not willing to say, boy,
(45:10):
the Vikes got exposed by the Lions or Darnald turning
to a pumpkin all of a sudden. I still think
they're the better team. And I don't know if this
influenced the Chargers, but I've got to think the fires
and the tragedy is going on in their home city
can't be good for preparing for games.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
I will say this, if you look at the Vikings
schedule this year, when they've played a good quarterback, when
they've played a true upper class not been good. Their
losses this year came against Detroit. Yeah, the Rams have
played this game. Everybody forgets about that one. And then
(45:48):
Detroit again. If you look at the rest of their schedule,
they played.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
The role carvy up type quarterbacks too.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
The Giants, okay, not that, No, San Francisco not really right, Houston, well,
we saw that they were struggling with other stuff, right,
Green Bay m hm. The Jets, Uh, then you had
the Detroit, La, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Chicago, Arizona, Atlanta, Chicago, Seattle,
(46:17):
Green Bay, Detroit, Like, their schedule was not all that.
I think they were rough. Were they the last place team? No?
Speaker 3 (46:24):
No, Chicago was right, but no, Chicago wasn't the doonesay went,
did a donzay or McCarthy go first because their first
pick was Carolina's? Maybe they were least I can't remember.
Actually they didn't have a difficult scatter. Yeah, but I
do think it's interesting that Goff and Stafford are the
ones that beat him, because I really like flores is
(46:46):
a quarter It's like crazy and he is aggressive to
no end. But those dudes have been around the block
that they sit back there and pick you apart from
the pockets can pick you that apart because they're not
the most talented defense in the league.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
No they aren't. They just come and come and yeah,
and they did weird things. So it wouldn't surprise me
if the Rams actually won that foot wouldn't be either. Yeah,
I mean Stafford has a huge game, He's got all
the weapons out there with him, Pooka Nakua goes crazy.
Speaker 3 (47:10):
I don't love the Viking Zoe line either, and that
young defensive front could cause problem. Yeah, a gain of
a great justin Jefferson answer, Yeah, should be a great game. No, I'
psyched about it, right absolutely.
Speaker 2 (47:20):
But yeah, we got a Mike Tomlin press conference at
twelve thirty on Tuesday, that season ending wrap ups. We'll
have some maybe something to talk about coming out of that.
Those are usually pretty extensive. Yeah, it'll be a long
talk and then we won't hear from Mike Tomlin again
until we talked to him at the owners meetings in March.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
Okay, but that'll be probably what we lead off with tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (47:41):
Right. Absolutely, we'll have plenty to talk about coming out
of that, But that's going to do it for our
show today, for my partner Matt Williamson, for Justin Miller
here on site running the Justin Miller hotline and the soundboard,
and for Tyler Vittmeyer making sure our video gets out
there on the YouTube. I'm Dale Lollie. We appreciate you
