Speaker 1 (00:03):
At least he's the Drive with Dale Lolly and Matt
Williamson on your twenty four to seven home of the
Black and Gold cass In Steelers Nation Radio.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
And we are back. I am Dale Lolly, he is
the Matt Williamson and Matt. I know we didn't do
a Fantasy Football focus yesterday, but we will do one
today because, okay, we got to put a DFS lineup.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
Yeah, we at least got to give a shot. You know,
I'm and try to pick the low hanging fruit. I
have no idea what the money's gonna be like or
the how they do.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
That would be a little strange. Yeah, I don't envy
them at all. Let's take a look here at the defenses.
The Buccaneers the most expensive at thirty six hundred. They're
not even a very good defense. They're playing New Orleans though,
right right, She's in a very good offense exactly. The
Chargers are thirty five hundred, the Packers against Chicago thirty
four hundred, the Eagles against the Giants, thirty three hundred,

(00:56):
Colts against the Jaguars, thirty three hundred, Dolphins against the Jets,
thirty two hundred, Falcons against Carolina thirty two hundred. Bills
against New England thirty one hundred. Not bad.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
I mean we're getting backup quarterbacks and how many Bills
players are gonna play.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
But so you know, yeah, Washington against Dallas is thirty
one hundred. Minnesota or I'm sorry, Detroit against Minnesota is
thirty one hundred.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
That's a game I don't want to touch. No defense.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
You might get a touchdown out of it or something
like that, but yeah, I don't want to be involved
in that game for defenses. Houston, Tennessee against Houston is
thirty three thousands.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Really appealing to me because I assume like Jeffrey Simmons
and those guys are going to play.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Uh, Cincinnati at Pittsburgh's three thousand. Denver against Kansas City
is three thousand. Not bad, They're gonna play everybody. Yeah,
allow sacks or yeah, they're sitting in offensive lineman. That's
not terrible.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
I mean Mahomes is great at not taking sacks, and
he gets sacked a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Yeah, Seattle at the Rams is twenty nine hundred. The
Rams against Seattle and anybody. The Rams against Seattle is
twenty nine hundred. Yeah, Garoppolo is going to start the.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Right right right now. How many linemen are gonna play?
I'm sure Copping the COUPA won't play.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
Houston at Tennessee is twenty eight hundred. San Francisco at
Arizona is twenty eight hundred. UH, Minnesota at Detroit is
twenty eight hundred. The Steelers are twenty seven hundred. UH.
Kansas City at Denver is twenty seven hundred. Arizona against
San Francisco is twenty seven hundred. The Jets against the

(02:35):
Dolphins are twenty six hundred. That might not even be
two in that game. I don't think a Whoba Yeah,
not exactly. A dynamic offense. New England against Buffalo twenty
six hundred might be playing against a lot of Mitch Trubisky.
Is there weather in that game? That'll be something something,
It's Mitch Trubisky. Jacksonville at Indianapolis is twenty five hundred.

(03:01):
That's gonna be Flacco. That's gonna be Flacco. Dallas against
Washington is twenty five hundred. The Giants against the Eagles
is twenty four hundred. They're gonna sit most of their guys, Yeah,
Carolina against Atlanta is twenty four hundred. That's a no
for me. The Raiders against the Chargers twenty three hundred,
the Raiders defense have been pretty good of it has
been pretty good. Yeah, I'm sorry. It's that cheap Chicago

(03:22):
against Green Bay twenty three hundred, And the cheapest defense
on the slate is New Orleans at Tampa Bay twenty two.
They're on exact opposite end. One whole zero ones that
were a little bit expensive for Tennessee Denver. It might
be worth it to pay up for one this week.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, and there was another one right in that neighborhood.
I like to the teams that need to win, that
Jets Miami game's kind of appealing.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Patriots Bills is kind of appealing to the Broncos at three thousand. Yeah,
I mean I think they're gonna take I mean they're
gonna rush the passer. Yeah, that's not super expense. So
that's a good defense. Yeah yeah, And they're gonna be
playing a bunch of backups. Oh yeah, certain, and Alan
all those guys are gonna play. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
No, you don't have to convince me on that one.
Went will throw in the other team too, Oh yeah, right, Yeah,
he's good at that.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Put it on the ground. He hasn't played forever. H
all right, that's not super expense with three grand at
tight end. Brock Bauers sixty six hundred, well, Trey McBride's
sixty five hundred, kittle Is six thousand, Johnny Smith fifty
eight hundred, Travis Kelce fifty three hundred. Don't think he
plays a lick. Sam Laporta is forty seven hundred. That's

(04:36):
definitely a game to target. Hawkinson is forty four forty four,
so he's three hundred dollars cheaper. Yeah, I think I'd
prefer Hawkinson the prize hunter Henry forty three hundred, Kate
Otten forty two hundred. He looks like he might be back.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Yes, I assume he's back, and our buddies to the bench.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
What's the latest news here? Maybe they've sit him this
week again, thinking the uh, he was limited yesterday, so okay.
Dalton Kincaid forty one hundred, Zach Ertz four thousand, Kyle
Pitts four thousand. He got used a little bit last week.
I like the over in that game. Dalton Schultz thirty
nine hundred, Pat Fryarmouth thirty nine hundred. The Bengals are

(05:15):
thirty second against opposing nice history against them, yeah. Jake
Ferguson thirty nine hundred, chig Is thirty eight hundred. I
think they'll go back to he'll get the targets. Yeah, Yeah,
Noah Gray thirty eight hundred. That makes you think he
would play a lot, yeah, against a good defense and
run their offense. They're sixteenth against opposing tight ends, though,

(05:37):
are they Yeah. Noah Fant thirty seven hundred, Tucker Craft
thirty seven hundred, Mike Gasiki thirty six hundred. I don't
mind that he's throw ball a lot. Yeah, he got
twelve targets last week. I will both the tight ends
in the Steel game are interesting to me. Will Disley
is thirty six hundred. He has no injury designation KA,

(05:57):
but I do think what his face is here to
stay yeah, strong Stone Stone SmartArt, Yeah, with two teas. Yeah,
he caught some balls again this. Brenton Strange thirty five hundred,
Culture twenty eighth against opposing tight ends. Cole Comet thirty
five hundred, Tyler Higbee thirty four hundred, Dawson Knox Foster

(06:19):
Moreau is thirty two hundred. Is he the starter? Yeah?
I guess. Yeah, they're twenty fourth against opposing tight ends
and with the Moreau last week five targets had three
catches for forty seven yards in a touchdown. No, man,
if you look at the last couple of games here,
week before he had two catches for twenty one. Week

(06:41):
before that was four for thirty nine and a touchdown.
It's not terrible, right, two for forty the week before that.
So I mean he's getting he's getting targets. So they
gotta thrown a ball to somebody. Yeah, right, that's a
bad pass defense and you're gonna I'm fine with that.
I like two hundred bucks is cheap. The cheap cheap
tight end paid off nice for us last week. The
other way to look at grank Cal's terror's thirty one
hundred McGee and McKee's not terrible. He's not terrible, And

(07:05):
calca Terra's not bad.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
No, that's not bad either. That's pretty cheap for him too.
There's no chance God or plays.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Uh Stone smart is thirty one hundred as well. Okay,
but I do think this lead's back. This lead.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
I think I could see Herbert getting sat down at
some point. Yeah, I mean he has a lot injuries.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
What do you think I like a couple of I
like the tight ends in the Steeler game, both, I do.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
There are a lot more expensive than those. The cheap
names a lot though.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Kyseki's not, Yasiki's thirty six hundred, Moros thirty two. Oh wow,
I thought we were saving more than that. Noah, friar
Mouth's only what was he thirty nine? I think there's
gonna be a lot of passes to Chase Higgins and Koseki. Well,
he gets a touchdown pass, so that's the like. I
think Friarmuth has a better chance to score. Yes, agreed.

(07:54):
How much? What's the price difference on those two again,
Friarmuth is thirty nine hundred and Kasiki is thirty. Oh.
I thought that gap was bigger than was too. I
would go with Smooth. I think he has a he
had six catches the last time Gasick he had five.
Tore it up last year against him too. Yeah, all right. Plus,
if there's some weather, you get some shorter stuff that's
middlefields available. Yeah all right. Moving on to quarterbacks, Josh

(08:19):
Allen eighty five hundred No. Jayde Daniels seventy eight hundred No.
Burrow Is seventy five hundred. That I get, Jalen Hurt
snow Baker Mayfield seven thousand, that's not bad. Jared Goff
sixty eight hundred. Okay, Mahomes not gonna play Sam Darnold
sixty five hundred. I mean, yeah, right, right right, I

(08:42):
might throw for three hundred against that Detroit defense, right right,
got a bad win a Dome.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
I mean, all the weather games are gonna be out there.
That's not one of them.

Speaker 2 (08:49):
Bow Nick's sixty four hundred, Jordan love Is sixty one hundred, CJ.
Stroud six thousand, Kyler Murray six thousand, Herbert fifty nine hundred. Uh,
Bryce Young fifty eight hundred. That's not bad. I like
the overneck game the twenty seventh against opposing tight end
or opposing quarterbacks, I should say Drake may fifty seven hundred,

(09:10):
Matthew Stafford fifty seven hundred. He plays Rogers Is fifty
six hundred, Caleb Williams fifty six hundred. They you don't
play him on the road. Carson Wentz fifty six hundred
against Denver's defense.

Speaker 3 (09:23):
I don't love it, say I think I want to
spend the lime might just run the ball and try
to get out of there. There's only like six or
eight of them that you kind of know are going
to play start to finish.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Mits Trubisky is fifty five hundred, Gino Smith fifty five hundred,
Joe Flacco fifty four hundred, Michael Pennox fifty four hundred.
Russell Wilson is fifty three hundred dollars.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Really cheap for four yards against these guys all the
last time, dude, we put that.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
In fifty three hundred. I don't understand that, right, right?
Did they think he was not going to play? I
mean his fields right behind him or something on there. Mary,
he's the same price as Marcus Mariota. Everyone's gonna have
him in the lineup, But I think you have to.
Jimmy Garoppolo is fifty two hundred. For God's sakes, Wow,

(10:10):
I mean you have to start him, don't you. I
think I mean he's gonna throw. It's not like they're yeah,
they're not going to roll in, like especially if the
Bengals are scoring scoring so and Bengals are gonna score
some points on yeah, yeah, like and we just saw this, right,
I don't get it. I don't either you don't. Sometimes
you don't ask why, you just.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Get you say thanks, right, we do a friar with
in the lineup as we now, that's why don't want
to get too, because us a.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Stack running back. Jamier Gibbs eighty seven hundred.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Wow, Montgomery's out right, yeah, I mean they talk about
him maybe.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
One eighty six. Are not gonna play, no. B Jean
Robinson is eighty five hundred. They I think he's gonna
go crazy there. Thirty second against I mean, you just
start half to win, right, and we've gone cheap. I
think that's not a bad move. Not bad. Jonathan Taylor
eighty two hundred. They're thirty first against opposing running backs.
Josh Jacobs eighty one hundred. I think he'll play. I

(11:04):
don't play the whole time. They don't be a motivation.
Bucky Irving is seventy seven hundred. They're twenty seventh against
running back. I think we have spend some money on
backs camp Chase Brown though, Kiren Williams seventy six hundred,
Joe Mixon seventy four hundred. Now Kamara's question, well, I
don't think he plays. Devinite Chan seventy two hundred. He

(11:27):
could be a little hit or miss. Yeah. James Cook
seven thousand, don't think he plays. Zach Sharboney sixty seven hundred.
Walker's back, No, walker's on ion, walker's on iron. Yeah,
Brees Hall sixty five hundred, Aaron Jones sixty four hundred,
but he is still questionable. I think he plays. Dobbins
is sixty three hundred. Tony Pollard I don't think he plays.

(11:50):
He's sixty two hundred. Spears is out, So who's running
the ball? Is Pollard out? He's on Spears is out?
I know spears is out. But the last practice this week, okay.
Brian Robinson six thousand, Isaac Grendo fifty nine hundred. They
have no reason not to play him. No, I would
think he plays. Jaylen Warren fifty eight hundred, Tyrone Tracy

(12:13):
fifty eight hundred, Rico Daldell fifty eight hundred. No reason
not to play him. No, right there, those guys are playing.
Rashaud Waite is fifty seven hundred, Kenneth Gainwell fifty six hundred.
The Giants are twenty ninth against opposing running backs. Game
Well is not bad. No, that's not bad at all.
Blake korm fifty six hundred, Ramondre Stevenson fifty five hundred.

(12:33):
The Bills are thirtieth against opposing running backs.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
Do you have any objections to putting Bucky Irving and
or Bijon in as a big ticket item and then
going some one of these cheap dudes.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
I don't have a problem with it. We just figure
out what's cheap, dude, you're going now. Kareem Hunt is
fifty five hundred, and you think, I bet the interior
line doesn't play, that's the problem. Yeah. Uh. DeAndre Whip
is fifty four hundred, Phil Taylor fifty four hundred, Cam
Akers fifty four hundred. Naujie Harris is fifty three hundred.

(13:08):
Pretty cheap, it's really cheap. Antonio Gibson is fifty three hundred.
They keep saying he's gonna take over, and he never
quite does. He's been getting the plays affair. Twelve carries
last week and he had one target. It's not been awful.
Alexander Madison fifty three hundred, Ray Davis fifty two hundred. Ooh,

(13:29):
I would think this is a Ray Davis kind of game.
Man feed him. That's that's not bad at all. Whether
you know, I like that a lot. Khalil Herbert is
fifty one hundred. He's their lead guy at least. Tank
Bigsby fifty one hundred, Emmanuel Wilson fifty one hundred, Brian
Allen fifty three hundred, Ty Johnson five thousand. I think

(13:54):
he might get involved. Tyler Algierres forty nine hundred. It's
not bad either. I'm really leaning towards Bijeon. Yeah, Davis
Julian McLaughlin is forty eight hundred. He's kind of the top.
He's kind of the guy now, kind of yeah. Like
if you look at the last few games for Jillian,
not bad, he had, well, it's nine point six point

(14:18):
six point four, nine point four, four point four, but
he's he's gotten double digit carries in two in the
last three games. And he catches the ball. Now. He's
one hundred and ninety five pounds. He's not but who's
playing on Kansas City defense? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Right, I mean he's a lead back at this cheap.
I mean we've named a million running backs.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
In forty eight hundred. If that allows you to go
get Bijeon right right, a massive day.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
I like that approach. I mean he doesn't have to
get eighty percent of their carries.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
You like him better than say A forty eight Davis
was another name, Ray Davis. Yeah, I think Ray Davis
gets a lot of running. He was only fifty two hundred.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
We could probably do all three and get a lot
of money spending receiver.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Yeah, you're gonna plug Ray Davison now, all right, Davis
in the lineup. That gets us up to averaging sixty
five hundred. If you put McLaughlin in, Jon is a
flex well either way, either way, it doesn't know where
you put them. But right, I'm gonna put Bijon in
the running back slot here, and let's look at wide receivers.

(15:20):
Jamar Chase eighty six hundred, Justin Jefferson eighty four hundred.
I went pieces of that. Yeah, Jefferson's appealing. Who can
Nakua eighty three hundred. I don't know if he played
Mike Evans eight thousand, that's about either. Yeah. Uh, Nico
Collins seventy eight hundred, a mon Ross Saint Brown seventy
seven hundred. Now I like that one because they blitzed

(15:43):
like crazy. Oh yeah, and so the ball's got to
come out first time run against Minnesota. What did he do?
Eight catches for one hundred and twelve yards on eight
targets in a touchdown.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Line's like the best team in the league against man
coverage too, and that's what they're gonna get. Yeah, I
think that's the big dogs. That's the best one.

Speaker 2 (16:00):
Yeah, he's a little cheaper at seventy seven hundred. Brian
Thomas seventy three hundred, A J. Brown I don't think plays.
T Higgins seventy one hundred, Malik Neighbors is seventy one hundred,
Devonte Adams seven thousand, Lad McConkie sixty nine hundred. Looks
like he's going to play now. McLaurin is sixty eight hundred,
Tyreek Hill sixty seven hundred, Pickens is sixty six hundred,

(16:24):
Drake London sixty five hundred. I don't mind that. Jordan
Addison at sixty four hundred. He's been really good. We'll
get you another piece of that game. So if you
went like a Monroe in Addison, I don't dislike it. Yeah,
you're paying up for a Monroe, but we still have
a cheap running back. We're running backs that we can

(16:44):
look to there. Courtland sutton Is sixty four hundred, not terrible.
Cooper Cup sixty three hundred. He's pretty bad lately. Jamis
and Williams sixty two hundred, then be another piece of
that game.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
You like Williams more than Addison if he's cheaper. I
mean they're kind of the same, the same man.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Yeah, he Jamis and Williams need you gotta have time
to get the ball down the field to him.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
Yeah, but he'll get ends a rounds two and yeah,
all he does a little bit of that.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Thielen sixty two hundred. Pretty good. They're twenty ninth against
posing wide receiver. Yeah, right to throw the ball somewhere.
H Smith and Jagbas sixty one hundred, Garrett Wilson six thousand,
Keenan Allen six thousand, Devonte Smith fifty nine hundred, DJ
Moore fifty nine hundred, Xavier Worthy fifty eight hundred. I
don't think it's sit him. I don't know how much

(17:33):
you'll play though, what they'll do with them. It's one
Jennings fifty eight hundred, Jacobe Myers fifty seven hundred. Flan's
growing on me, yeah, Metcalf fifty six hundred, Jaden Reid
fifty six hundred, Dobbs fifty five, Marvin Harrison Is fifty five,
Calvin Ridley fifty four, Waddle don't know if he plays
fifty four. Khalis Shakir fifty three hundred. Can't imagine he

(17:55):
plays a lot. Josh Downs fifty three hundred, Flacco. I'm
just looking here to see if Alec Pierce had a
nice game last week about five thousand, if we want
to chase the points there, I was thinking about those
Colt receivers. Yeah, let's say Zakias is forty five hundred.

(18:16):
He's good.

Speaker 3 (18:17):
I don't know how much of their guys are gonna play. Yeah,
he will, but I don't know if right you are
you gonna sit him?

Speaker 2 (18:21):
No? Uh, Wick's Tantavian Wicks forty four hundred. We got
burned by him a couple of times. Pop Douglas is
forty three hundred, Parker Washington forty three hundred. Some decent
cheapies that will play. Jalen Tolbert is forty three hundred.
See the two. I mean, Cooks is out there. Last

(18:42):
couple of games, well, not a ton of target. He's
got a touchdown though, in three three straight games. Really,
what's Cook's Jalen Coker is forty one hundred. I haven't
seen Brandon Cooks on here yet. He's there one, isn't he? Yeah?
Maybe I'm missed him. Did he have an injury designation? Oh?

(19:03):
There he is. He was forty seven hundred. Brandon Cooks
the last he had eight targets last week. A week
before that was a three for forty eight, five for
thirty four. But really it's just been the last two
weeks that they have an a CD lamb. Yeah, he
had eight targets last week. It's not terrible.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
I mean, Russia is gonna play and he's an NFL
quarterback at least. Yeah, I mean that's not a bad
I'm saying that a bad way. Who's looking at you?

Speaker 2 (19:30):
I want to get pieces of that Minnesota. Let's start there. Yeah,
I want to get pieces of that game. Williams Addison,
Saint Brown. I want Saint Brown. All right, let's start there.
I want to start. I want to start with Saint Brown.

Speaker 3 (19:42):
I'd rather pay the Saint Brown price than the Jefferson price.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
Yeah, yeah, probably with Jeffert. Like they'll completely ignore Jefferson
for a half and then he'll get like eight targets
in a row.

Speaker 3 (19:52):
I mean, that's all defensive coordinators just going insane to
take him away.

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Yeah, but then they figured it out. Addison is sixty
four hundred, Okay, I prefer him to Williams. Yeah, I
do too, Okay, So that gives us then ten Yeah,
that gives us ten thousand to spend on the last
two players. So we're gonna need a nice cheapie like

(20:16):
a like a Parker Washington or something like that. Brandon Cook's, Yeah,
it was Cook's. Cooks was Where's he at? He was
really cheap on what I remember, Brandon Cooks was forty
seven hundred. So he's actually under budget. I think that's
a no brainer. Yeah, I think he's I mean he's
if he gets eight targets again, you're good. Got some

(20:38):
nagging injury we don't know about. He's completely completely healthy.
That leaves us fifty three hundred to then spend on
the flex, and that would get us Kendre Miller, Augie Harris,
Antonio Gibson, Alexander Madison, Khalios, Shakir, Josh Downs, Travis Kelsey,
Travis Downs is Madison the one, Yeah, because Abdullah is hurt.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Yeah, so I thought, I mean, he's not exciting, but
if he gets twenty touches.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
So now, last week it was, uh, he got ten
carries for thirty two yards and one catch for three
yards four point eight points. A week before that he
got fifteen points, six points. I mean, I don't love
him score here. Yeah, I don't neither. I'm just thinking opportunity.
If we're going to do that, I'd rather I'd rather
have nausea. Yeah, don't putge that's three. Now. Caught the

(21:29):
ball last time against he had like four catches for Yeah,
he's actually caught the ball pretty consistently lately. I mean
he had over one hundred total yards in that game.
I assume he's still the goal line and still the
goal line guy. Pretty cheap, pretty cheap. I'm five with it,
all right, plugging him in zero dollars, right, that puts
us as zero. We got Russell Wilson at quarterback fifty

(21:50):
three hundred dollars. That's just too cheap. Ray Davis at
fifty two hundred at running back. I think I'm hoping
that's like the feed him all day long type of game. Yeah,
if you look at the last time. He got all
the carries like that was the game? Where was that
game at? He had twenty for ninety seven against the
Jets and three catches for fifty five. He's a good player.

(22:12):
It's a good player. He's just been blocked. Right. They're
not going to play Cooks at all in this game. No, no,
not at all. They'll sit some lineman too, but that's
all right. Bjeon Robinson eighty five hundred, last time against Carolina, Bijeon,
where's that game at? Where's that game at? Where's Carolina? At?
Is Jon in Carolina? Yeah? Oh okay, that was a

(22:34):
lot lost here. He had fifteen for ninety five and
two touchdowns and also had three catches for ten yards.
So they're gonna ride him like crazy twenty five and
a half to wins in that game. Yeah, all right,
so quarterback, Yeah with the rookie quarterback? Yeah, Amon Ross
Saint Brown love it. We already said what he did
the first time around against him. Jordan Addison in the
other wide receiver spot with Brandon Cooks on strong, Yeah,

(22:56):
Pat Fararmouth in the tight end position, Nause Harris in
the flex at fifty three hundred and the Broncos defense
at three thousand cool. I think it was we sacks.
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what they do, is both
of they do. Yeah, they're gonna blitz and do all
that stuff. Oh, they're getting the power back. Yeah that's
good defense. Yeah, the best defensive league. All right, there

(23:16):
we go, locking it in. That's our DFS lineup for
this week, Week eighteen of the NFL schedule. Not easy
picking out guys that, No, there's a lot to avoid. Yeah,
I don't know how. I mean, I would imagine like
our Minnesota stack there, Minnesota Detroit stack might be a
little chalky, Bijon might be a little chalky. But I'm
sure there's some chalky games. Yeah, I mean Buccaneers. There's

(23:39):
like five games that you can actually pick guys out
of the right bangals. And in this in this contest,
we didn't have the Ravens. They don't give you the
early Saturday game. Oh, they weren't even started with the
They got to hit them hard anyways, because I'm not
sure a lot of Ravens are playing late in the game.
But it might not.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
They might already have enough Fantasy points, doesn't matter, right,
Henry might have three touchdowns.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
You know. Yeah, I wouldn't be real excited to play
any of the Browns. No, No, I wouldn't want to
anything to do with it. I mean you might have
looked at the Ravens defense or something. Yeah maybe. Yeah,
So there it is. I like it. All right, let's
lock it in and we're good again. That's Russell Wilson
at quarterback, Ray Davis and Bijon Robinson at running back,
Jordan Addison, Brandon Cooks and Monross Saint Brown at the

(24:20):
receiver position, Pat Firemouth at tight end, Naujee Harris in
the flex, and the Broncos defense in the defensive slot. Good,
there we go. Okay, uh, Ray Davis is going to
be the champ. Yeah, that's gonna be our winner. We're
gonna get to a break. That's gonna do it for
the Fantasy Football Focus. When we come back, we'll take
a look at this week's schedule who we think is

(24:41):
going to win these games that we still have to
make our pick yet in the Steelers Bengals game as well.
We'll do that in the final segment. Don't you go anywhere.
You're listening to the drive on the Steelers Audio network.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
He's The Drive with Dale Lolly and Matt Williamson on
your twenty four to seven Home of the Black and
Gold cast in Steelers Nation Radio.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
Man, Welcome back. I am Dale Lolly. He is the
Matt Williamson and this is the Drive on the Steelers
Audio Network, and it is time to take a buzz
around all the games that are going to happen this week,
except for the one here in Pittsburgh. We'll talk about
that in the final segment. But we at first game
on Saturday's to.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Be a redundant situation, like how long is this team
gonna play? I mean, yes, we know who's gonna win,
but is it by thirteen points? You know, like that's
a lot of what's what you're we're about to talk about.

Speaker 2 (25:37):
It's hard, really hard. You got the Browns at three
and thirteen at the eleven and five Ravens. It's four
thirty Saturday, Baltimore favored by nineteen and a half and
the over hunder is only forty one and a half.
I'm taking the points. I am too. This is so
many points. This is the largest spread in an NFL
game in over fifty years.

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Doesn't seem like it's too much though it's too much. Yeah,
I mean, like they're not gonna run up a score.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
No, they're gonna get their guys. They're gonna get a lead,
and they're gonna get their guys the heck out of
the game, right, Like, I mean, how many how many
times is Lamar thrown in this game?

Speaker 3 (26:08):
You know?

Speaker 2 (26:08):
Right? If DTR were starting, I would say, Okay, maybe
that happens. Bailey Zappi is a call. He's gonna be
in the league for ten years as a backup.

Speaker 3 (26:17):
You're saying Zappi gives one a better chance at least
to score some points, right, DTR stinks. I mean it's
like Miles Garrett playing. Yeah, I mean, like they're they're
not sitting to anybody, right, I mean, they should at
least offer some resistance.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
I wouldn't think it's not gonna They're not gonna win
forty one to nothing, no, right, I mean, this isn't
just handed to Henry and he runs over under forty
one and a half. So they're what are they saying.
They're saying that Baltimore is gonna win thirty to ten,
thirty one to ten.

Speaker 3 (26:44):
I definitely agree that the Browns are gonna score a
lot of points. Oh, I don't think Henry is going
to be tech mobile, Bode Jackson just like nobody's out there,
you know, come on, the Browns did beat them earlier.
They well, they know each other. It's a prideful tea.
I mean, it's a prideful matchup.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
You know, division game. I mean, if you're giving nineteen
and a half, I mean almost three, you're gonna be
almost three touchdowns in an NFL game.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
Yeah, yeah, I'll take that. A lot of points, a
ton of points, all right. Not gonna be even the
case for a lot of these games. Yeah, I mean
you're gonna be double digit games, double digit points, and
games that don't necessarily matter.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
These players are prideful human beings. They're not gonna say
we don't see double digit points in the preseason games, right,
Essentially what these are gonna end up? But are non
But these are NFL players, Those are mostly not NFL players.
The four and twelve Panthers are at the eight to
eight Falcons. It's a one o'clock game Sunday, Atlanta favored
by seven and a half. The over under forty seven

(27:42):
and a half.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
I love the over, but I think I really wish
this wasn't over seven, but I'm still gonna take Atlanta.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
I think that's a really good number. I think there'll
be a lot of points. Lanta needs it. I think
it'll be a lot of aj on alone. I want
to take the points. I get it over seven. It
doesn't make me through Carolina some points. I mean, oh,
I think so too. Yeah, yeah, the over is really
my favorite. The eleven and five Commanders are at the
seven and nine Cowboys Washington favored by six. The over

(28:10):
under forty four and a half points at home. I mean,
this is that's one of those ones. I just don't
know what co Boys Commanders. I mean, it's the division game.
They don't necessarily care for each other all that much.
I don't think Daniels plays and like the chlorin that.
I don't even if Daniels plays and plays the entire game.
Is he gonna go out and run the ball ten

(28:30):
times in this game? I don't think so. I think
they tell him to just stay in the pocket, throw
the football.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
Do you think Parsons plays, Yeah, yeah, I mean I
don't know who else they would shut down. Yeah, yeah,
I'll take the points.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
The four and twelve. Bears are at the eleven and
five Packers, Green Bay favored by ten the over under
forty one and a half the points. I don't that's
a lot of points. I'll take the pack Bears on
the road have been awful. Oh, I know, atrocious.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
People playing for jobs? Are they can't imagine loves playing
much of that game. Yeah, I kind of think that
some of these will be. I think a lot of
coach beat going on right now is what's happening in Buffalo, Like, well,
we're gonna start, Josh Allen.

Speaker 2 (29:14):
Yeah, but if you're gonna get out, there're gonna play
more in two series. Bears are zero to seven outright
on the road against this pride.

Speaker 3 (29:21):
Right, it's not like a vote of confidence for the
Bears to start a road winning streak or anything. And
there's are a bunch of young guys that if they're
gonna play all their dudes.

Speaker 2 (29:30):
I don't. I wouldn't touch that game one where they
Oh no, of course, Uh the seven and nine, that's
not right, they're not seven to nine and nine and seven.
Texans are at the three and thirteen Titans Tennessee favored
by two of the over under just thirty six and
a half. I'll take the home favorite. Well, yes, you're

(29:50):
betting on Will Levis. Who's the backup for the Texan I.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
Don't even know, right, I'm sure they're sitting in tunsil
and definitely no me mixing.

Speaker 2 (30:01):
I guess I'll take the title, right. At least they
have something to play for. Mason Rudolph might get him
to a couple of touchdowns and yeah, Chig and I
don't know. I mean it's brutal. The four and twelve
Jaguars are at the seven and nine. Stinky Colts really
lost that game last week. Beyond me, Indianapolis favored by five,
the over under forty three and a half. Five seems

(30:24):
like too many, Flaco. You could come into me either
way on it. Jonathan Taylor could run for two hundred
yards and I wouldn't be surprised. Mac Jones is capable,
though Brian Thomas could catch five touchdowns. Are surprised. I
think that's what the points.

Speaker 3 (30:42):
I guess again, I not only there's like four or
five of these games that I really don't care.

Speaker 2 (30:47):
The Colt just I mean, I understand the game was
on the road last week. How do you lose to
the Giants. I know. I mean, one of the most
playoff life on the mine exactly on the line. That's
just crazy. The thirteen and three Bills are at the
three and thirteen Patriots Buffalo, favored by two and a half.
The over hunder just thirty eight and a half. Patriots,

(31:08):
one of those teams had no Pro Bowlers this year,
Bills only had two.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
I still think I'll take the bill. I mean, if
they get a quick score with Allen and then pull them.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
They win seven hand handoff to Ray Davis, game tbisky
or maybe runs for at least I mean, and if
Milton's out there, Yeah, that can't be good. No, they'll
definitely take a bill. Yeah, yeah, I'll love it. But
I'll take them all right. I mean it's under a
field goal. Another game just like that one. The three

(31:42):
and thirteen Giants are at the thirteen and three Eagles,
Philadelphia favored by three, the over under thirty seven and
a half.

Speaker 3 (31:50):
You're gonna take the Giants. Is the Giants eighteen better
than the Eagles? Does the Giants have an eight team
at this point?

Speaker 2 (31:58):
No, it's terrible. Was okay two weeks ago against the Colts.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
I know it's ugly as could be. McKee's not terrible.
I kind of want to gain well in fantasy. I'll
take the points.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
I'm gonna take the Eagles at home. No, yeah, it's miserable.
I can't. I can't see the Giants winning two in
a row. They would move from like the first overall
pick in the draft two weeks ago to to like
seven or yeah. By winning two games would be a
giant thing to do. The five and eleven Saints, who

(32:40):
I believe are the worst team in the league. I
do too. As currently construed at then is not playing
Tomorrow's not playing. Nine and seven Buccaneers Tampa Bay favor
by thirteen and a half. The over under forty three
and a half.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
I don't think this is the same as Ravens Browns. No,
I think I'll take the Bucks gladly and.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
I'll take I'll lay the thirteen. Yeah, yeah, without a doubt.
I just think they'll just destroy them. I don't have
the Saints score right, that's the thing. Do they get
to ten? Yeah, probably not. And I'm sure the Bucks
are in the twenties. The fifteen and one Chiefs are
at the nine and seven Broncos. Denver now favored by

(33:17):
ten and a half the over under forty and a half.
Give me the points. Yeah, let's say if it's over ten,
Kansas City will keep it close. I bet, yeah, you know.
I mean, I don't think a lot of points we
scored in the game period.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
No, it's could be a twenty to ten and yeah, right,
you're good we won to Denver's d Yeah, I bet
Wentz makes a play.

Speaker 2 (33:36):
Maybe one you might get right for the other team too,
but that's fine. The ten and six Chargers at the
four and twelve Raiders. The Chargers favored by four the
over under forty one and a half. That's kind of
surprising that the Chargers would only be favored by four.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
I know, it makes me think Herbert's not gonna play
a lot. I mean, but I still will take the Chargers.
I just think the harball mental is not going to
be let's all joke with our baseball caps on on
the sideline.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Here's the thing. I don't know if the Chargers are
one of these teams that take over the Raiders stadium. Oh,
I bet not. I don't think anyone goes to the
game period because all the all the Charger fans in
San Diego are still ticked off, you know the team left. Yeah, yeah,
I don't think either one of these fan bases. Now,
maybe if some people in l A decided they want
to make a trip to Vegas. But are they there
to see the Chargers? Are they there to watch the

(34:26):
dancing girls? But you can get ticket for three bucks?
This game might be brock Bowers needs nine catches to
catch zach Ertz for the most receptions in a season
by a tight end in NFL history. Do they feed
him into to get to that something? I mean, something
to strive for, you know, yeah, you got I guess

(34:50):
I'll take the Chargers. I love it, but no, love
is big word. The nine and seven Seahawks are at
the ten and six Rams, Seattle favored by six and
a half. Yeah, thirty eight a big way. I think
Seattle McVeigh love to sit his guys. Yeah, he may
pay there why this week, just to play them so
he can sit other guys.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Yeah, Seattle's young and still ha' stuff to play for, though,
I think they'll care.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Gino Smith is one hundred and eighty six passing yards
away from breaking the Seahawks record for a single season
forty two yards seventeen games to Yeah a mark, Well
a Mark, he's said in twenty twenty two. So he
did it in seventeen games. So I bet he gets it.
I bet he does too. Yeah. Yeah, I'll take the Seahawks. Uh,
the eight and eight Dolphins are at the four and

(35:37):
twelve Jets, Miami favored only by a point. The over
under thirty eight and a half. I assume they think
Rogers is playing. Maybe they think he's not. I'm taking Miami.
I mean Miami cares. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
The Jets are a miserable organization right now, miser they
really think that's a close game.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
I as soon. They have been overrated all season long, right,
Remember they came to Pittsburgh and we're favored that game.
That was ridiculous. It has to correct itself by now.
Maybe not. The New York betting public must disagree with you. Apparently,
if only one point game, they love to bet the Jets, Jets, Jets, Jets.
He wasn't that bad. Hmm. Ok yeah, I don't love it. No, No,

(36:22):
I don't love any of this. I'm gonna take the Jets. Okay.
I can't give you a reason why you don't need
to explain Huntley. If Tula was playing, I would take
the Dolphins easily. It wouldn't be a one point game, though.
But I do understand too that. I mean, I know
what kind of weather we're getting here. I assume there's

(36:42):
similar type weather in New York. It's the Dolphins coming north. Oh,
I know.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
I mean there's a chant of bad weather running back
of course. No, but his briefs hall even playing, I
would assume so. I think I thought he had stuff. No,
he's completely healthy, is he okay? They just didn't much.
Just one team cares and the other one. It matters
the one team doesn't the other.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
I think Aaron Rodgers kind of cares. Probably he probably
wants a guy. Hey, I'm gonna do this here. I
gotta get Devontae Adams one hundred guys. I think he
needs one more touchdown for his five hundredth or whatever.
So really, maybe he at least does that and gets
out of the game. I don't. I think he just plays.
We spent a lot of time in this game, Yeah,
too much. The six and ten forty nine Ers are

(37:24):
at the seven and nine Cardinals, Arizona favored by four
and a half the over and forty two and a half.
I will take the Arizona card me too. I feel
really good about it. I think the Niners can't wait
for their season to be over. No, and I totally
understand it. Yeah. And then the big game Sunday night, Yes,
the fourteen and two Vikings at the fourteen and two Lions,

(37:46):
Detroit favored by three, the over under fifty six and
a half.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
Yeah, it's kind of fun and sent of Dome too,
I mean just for fireworks. I want points.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
I think I think the Vike win the game outright.
I kind of do too. I was about to say that,
but I'm like in Detroit. I think Detroit's d is
a problem. It's a real problem, right, and you know
it's not going to get you know better, and this
this game is going to They've been living on the
edge the last few weeks as it is, just going
out and not scoring some teams. I don't know that

(38:20):
they're going to have be able to do that against
the Vikings. The only way they would do that is
if Sam Darnold blows up in this game.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
I mean he could be bad, yeah, but he hasn't
for sixteen or seventeen weeks or whatever, just so.

Speaker 2 (38:32):
Many they have. They have as many weapons as Detroit does.

Speaker 3 (38:36):
So I did the Lockdown NFL podcast this morning and
they said who would you rather be going forward? Like,
which of these teams would you rather be the GM
of this offseason. It's a pretty good conversation, you know,
like they both have pieces, and they both have like
Darrisaw and a bunch of defensive players missing.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
There's a lot of stars. I still picked the Lions.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
I did pick the Lions, but I also said I
would probably resigned to Arnold and I'm listening to offers
for McCarthy.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
Well, here's the other thing that they could do. You
put the franchise tag on Donald. Yeah, and you say,
but you make it the you got to give us
two first round draft picks and you're in the trade
for him, and you just say, okay, I have to
turn that quarterback room into picks. Yeah. You know, if
you know, Sam, we love you. But if somebody else
offers you something that's ridiculous, fine take it. We'll take

(39:24):
the two.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
First the two first round picks from Tennessee. Yeah, right right,
I mean, yeah exactly, and turn that into something really good.
And we've had some draft talk, but the musical chairs
for quarterbacks is really bad. For those teams talking in
the top ten, there's no Knicks or Panics or guys.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
Like you might even be able to get more than
two first round draft packs.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
What I'm saying, I mean, I think even if you
someone's going to give you a lot from McCarthy or donald,
one of the two can turn into a lot of picks.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
Yeah. I like the Vikes. I like the Vikings as well.
I mean their defense is just it's not they still
give up yards, but they get sacks, they get to
they quarterback, they make plays.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
I keep harping on this with the Lions too, like
they've had a buy in forever. They're so beat up.

Speaker 2 (40:08):
I just think eventually they're going to be over that
they're due. Yeah, yeah, which would mean the Lions will
be on the road in the first round.

Speaker 3 (40:15):
And all of a sudden you're in trouble, Like, man,
I gotta go on the road to Tampa, then I
gotta go to Philly.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
What's the overrunner for a Tampa Detroit playoff game?

Speaker 1 (40:24):
Right?

Speaker 2 (40:25):
More than fifty six and a half? Yeah? Probably I
would take the fifty six and a half in this
game too. But if you're the Lions, man, they were
in the eighties last week. Yeah, but think if you
lose this game, if you'll lie. I mean the same
true for the Vikes, but you probably have to go
a pretty big letdown for either team. You went fourteen
and two all throughout the course of the season and
then all of a sudden you lose a game.

Speaker 3 (40:43):
Expectations different for the Lions. Yeah, in the way the
Vikes feel like they're playing with house money.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
A little bit in Detroit, the way that that state
has embraced that team, like it's all about the Lions
right now. In the state of Michigan, Oh yeah, that
place would be on fire in the playoffs. I would
not want to I would not want to go play
a playoff game in Detroit. So it is not much different, No,
But I'm just saying that the Detroit fans have been
starvarized for They've never had this, and they've never had

(41:11):
one of the best teams. And he thought it was
gonna be the forty nine ers that you're gonna have
to deal with. Well, now you don't have to deal
with them. Yeah, Okay, you know.

Speaker 3 (41:17):
But the loser probably goes to Tampa, goes to Philly,
plays this game again.

Speaker 2 (41:23):
No, the loser plays it, plays next week against Tampa Bay.
The winner of that game goes back to play this
game again.

Speaker 3 (41:30):
Oh yeah, yeah, that's how that would work. And then
you get the Philly Yeah, and then you go play
the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
Yeah. I mean not easy, but a big difference. Yeah,
as opposed to playing Oh well, we got to play
the winner of Philly and Yeahs or whatever right right
in your own building, in your own building. Yeah, that's
a huge game. So I win. I think the Vikings
win it too. So that's where we're at. Good way
to end of the season though. That's cool. Absolutely, let's

(42:00):
get to another break. When we come back, we're going
to talk Steelers and Bengals right after this. At least.

Speaker 1 (42:10):
He's the drive with Dale Lolly and Matt Williamson on
your twenty four to seven Home of the Black and
Gold cast in Steelers Nation Radio.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
And we are back. I'm Dale Lolly, he is the
Matt Williamson and this is the Drive on the Steelers
Audio Network. And of course you can hear the drive
right here on these very airwaves every Monday through Friday
from four to six pm. You can also download the
Steelers mobile app and get it downloaded directly to your phone,
or you can watch on YouTube and leave us your comments.

(42:42):
Matt and I had a nice discussion earlier in the
show about records and all those kind of things. If
you break it in a sixteen game season seven, ten
times and a lot of let us know what you
would do. But let's get to the game at hand,
the one that we've been talking about all week long.
Saturday Night, Akroschuer Stadium, eight and eight Bengals at the

(43:03):
ten and six Steelers, Cincinnati favored by two and a half.
It went from two and a half. It had opened
that down to one and a half, and now it's
been back up to two and a half. The over
under forty eight and a half. I think it's your
turn to pick first there, Matt. I'll just say this.
So these two teams played in Cincinnati a month ago,

(43:24):
December first. The Steelers had five hundred and twenty yards
of offense in that game, won the game forty four
or thirty eight, and it wasn't really that close. They
were up seventeen points with under about ten minutes left
in the game and the Bengals it was like goofy
pick six. Yeah. In that game, the Bengals gave up

(43:46):
two hundred and sixty four yards after the catch. Wow,
that was the most in the league this season. Wow,
two hundred and six just after the Cats. It was
a miserable performance, and a lot of it was running
back catches, you know, right, tight end, right right. It's
just anybody who caught the ball was running ten yards
with it before he was touched by a Bengal.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
So I'm up right, Yes, you were up twenty seven
to twenty six Steelers, And I clearly think the Bengals
are going to score points.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
They pretty much always do. I think their passing game
is very, very frightening.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
But I kind of only feel like they have one
good thing going for him, and that's their passing game,
you know, and it's a great thing, and it's the
best thing that any of anyone has in this game.
But I don't think they're gonna do anything on the ground,
maybe not even try. And as great as Burrow is
and Chase and Higgins or the sprinkle Gaseki, I think
it's just too much to carry the entire team only

(44:42):
throwing the football against a really good pass rush.

Speaker 2 (44:44):
In a cold weather game. A deflection here right right.
I mean there's gonna be hits.

Speaker 3 (44:50):
I mean the Steelers strip sacks stuff back to kind
of like we were talking about with Missy. I expect
a much better performance in the trenches from the Steelers team.
And I I really think the extra time off is
really needed. You know, some of the things that they
can correct with bunches and most you know that some
of the defensive things that have plagued them, But really

(45:13):
just emotional and physical rest I think is really important.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
And I think the Steelers are gonna be physical.

Speaker 3 (45:19):
They're gonna be at home, They're gonna want to win
this game, and I just don't think the Bengals have enough.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
They one good thing. I'm going to go back to
something that Deshaun Elliott said after the loss last week,
and he said, look, we get the same guys out there,
and these things are happening. Really, they didn't have the
same guys out there that they had earlier in the
season when they were playing well. They didn't have all

(45:46):
those guys out there at the same time. Two of
those three games are missing Deshaun Elliott. They're missing Porter,
They're missing you know, Dante Jackson's out, things of that nature.
Last week again against Kansas City, it was Porter that
was missing in that game. I love how healthy they are.
I love how healthy they now. They finally got the
defenses back together, and so that has a trickle down effect.

(46:08):
Guys that were playing that. Someone whoever had to start
for Porter, for example, goes back down to playing fifteen
snaps a game or whoever. Right, Yeah, yeah, instead of
playing sixty, you're playing fifteen, which is what you're supposed
to be playing at this point. And so the communication
should be better in this because you've got the guys
that now they can look at each other and go, yeah,

(46:28):
they know, nobody's trying to cover up for anybody else,
nobody's trying to do anything out crazy. And this is
around the players clearly that's been stressed these last ten days. Yeah, clearly.
So you got everybody back, You got everybody back offensively.
You are a healthy, as healthy as you can be
at this time of year team going into this game,

(46:48):
and quite frankly, you ran up and down the field
on these guys in Cincinnati in their building a month ago,
a month ago. I don't understand why Cincinnati is favored
in this game. I just don't get I think I
think this is very.

Speaker 3 (47:02):
Stand to pick them, but I don't understand them being
a dog.

Speaker 2 (47:04):
I don't get it. This is very much like the
Jets game, where I thought the long team was favored
in this game because of the public perception that the
Steelers are a struggling team right now, and all of
a sudden, the Bengals are this team that is well,
they're hot right now. I just think it's two streaks,
ones on a wedding street, ones on losing streaks. As
I laid out in my five for Friday today, the

(47:27):
Bengals lost to the Eagles. The Bengals lost twice to
the Ravens. The Bengals lost to the Chargers. The Bengals
lost to Washington. The Steelers beat Washington. The Steelers have
beating the Ravens. They're a better football team.

Speaker 3 (47:38):
Bengals play the Chiefs, Yeah, they lost to them. The
Chiefs too, Yeah, losing streets.

Speaker 2 (47:43):
One in seven against teams with with who are in
the in the playoffs right now. The Steelers are four
and three against those teams. They're a better football team.

Speaker 3 (47:53):
I think it's a good way of putting it too.
It's like Steeers just had this three game losing streak
against three really good teams.

Speaker 2 (47:58):
Well, Bengals lost them too, all the same team. They
just didn't do it all in three games row at
the end of the season. If they'd have played them
in these last three games, guess what, they would have
lost them too, right, right, So you know it's all
about perception here and again. I know these these two
teams played a month ago and the Steelers were they
were the far better team, were the better team, They
were the better team on that day. Yeah, and that

(48:20):
nothing has changed, Nothing has changed with that.

Speaker 3 (48:23):
I think they're actually in better shape now than then.
I mean just in terms of rest and injuries and
play things too.

Speaker 2 (48:29):
So I got the Steelers winning this one thirty four
to twenty seven. I think it's a similar type game
to the last time. I think the Steelers run the
football effectively against this team. You run games really interesting
to me. I think they you know, the Bengals are
who they are, but they're not gonna suddenly. You know.
People said, well, maybe they won't give up all those
underneath catches this time around. Okay, So that means they're
gonna give They're gonna let Pickens run free down the field. Right.

(48:52):
I don't see them letting them do that happen either.
They just had personnel deficiencies in the defense, you know.
I mean they just gave up two long touchdowns and
Marvin Mims last week like pick your poison. They can't
they can't stop everything.

Speaker 3 (49:04):
I also very much understand the balls that come out
of Burrow's hands quick, absolutely, but I think what makes plays.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
I think he makes plays in this one. I think
Cam Hayward gets the hands up and tips the ball
in the air. I think the Herbig's been quiet. He's
better than that. Hi Smith, Smith can beat up on Brown.
They're gonna be alone all the time. How healthy is
Mems if he does play like right, yeah, he's still
a rookie, I mean on his best day, you know.
I mean, I think that O line's in for I
think the Steelers crowd will be into it. It's a

(49:30):
Saturday night game, you know. It just doesn't set up
well for Cis doesn't play, you know, or something like
that too.

Speaker 3 (49:37):
There's a couple of their fringe guys that I know.
Chase isn't gonna play, and I don't think Mims will play.
There's a couple of them that could not play or
by the fourth quarter stop playing.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
Yeah, that's that's I mean that first time around. The
only reason the Bengals were still in that game in
the fourth quarter was because of that pick six that
shouldn't have happened. George Pickens got thrown to the ground
by his head. Yeah, at the line of scrimmage, and
it was a bad pick six. That's a twenty four
point game in the fourth quarter. If that didn't happen, right,

(50:08):
the Steelers were in the Yeah, clearly the better team
on that day. If the Steelers get up and it's
just run, run, run, the Bengals d is going to
be Yeah, that is enough of this. Yeah, right, Hubbard's
not playing. He's been out. You know, he played in
the last game against the Steelers. He's a good player. Like,
they just don't have the horses.

Speaker 3 (50:28):
Like I get that, the Bengals have life and they're
on a winning streak. They have like a seven percent
chance to make the playoffs too. I mean, like there's
some reality here too. The kicker stinks and their kickers,
sinks and across the board special teams, they have a disadvantage.
I think Steelers are back to Saxson turnovers. I can't
think Burrow is gonna make terrible decisions or anything. Yeah,

(50:48):
but it's just so much on everything's on him.

Speaker 2 (50:50):
There's so much bad stuff that can happen when the
ball goes into the air, and I think it gets
magnified when it's cold. Balls tip off of a guy's hands. Yeah,
caught warm weather, but it tips off his hands and
turns into an interception. I got to make a Fitzpatrick
may get another one in this game. It wouldn't spark me,
you know. I just they turned Burrow over three times

(51:11):
the last time. I think the Steelers defensive stars will
look like stars. Yeah. Doesn't mean the Bengals won't make plays. Oh,
they're gonna make plays. They're gonna go out there and
put the ball in their fifty five times. They're gonna
score some points. Yeah, yeah, but they also might score
some points for the Steelers. No, I think I'm with you.
I'm with you.

Speaker 3 (51:27):
I think we see it the same way. You have
a bigger discrepancy in the score. I don't know if
the Steelers will get to mid thirties, you know, I
mean that's asking a lot. I think they'll run the
ball a higher percentage.

Speaker 2 (51:39):
You're gonna turn over down in their end, get cheap,
go a long way. Yeah. I do think the Steelers
run percentage will be higher than the first time around. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (51:48):
And I think the part of that is Tomlin's gonna
want to feel good about the run game going into
the playoffs. Yeah, you know, because you know you're gonna
be on the road, you know, so well likely going
to be on the road. I'm just assuming Baltimore is
gonna win.

Speaker 2 (51:59):
Yeah, I mean everybody is. That would be the biggest
upset in NFL history. I mean, it's one of the
biggest spreads I've ever heard. I mean there have been
teams that have lost fourteen point oh yeah, yeah, double
by fourteen points and lost the game. But nineteen twenty yeah,

(52:20):
I don't see that happen. I don't see it happen.
I can't imagine the Ravens. Yeah. So, I mean, again,
it's the difference between the Steelers going to Houston or
the Steelers going to Baltimore. Potentially, if if they lose
and the Chargers would win. I can't remember we both
picked the Chargers to win, so yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (52:38):
The thing about that game is, obviously it's a lot
different if since he wins, if you're the Chargers. Yeah,
you know, in terms of who am I playing whom?
I not right and I'm picking that games.

Speaker 2 (52:47):
So if that's the case, if the Steelers are going
to Houston, are they favored in Houston? What's the spread
in that game? Do you think?

Speaker 3 (52:56):
I think that depends on how conveying their win or
what they look like on Saturday night, because that's.

Speaker 2 (53:04):
Going to be a Houston's not going to do anything
to change the perception on them, and they just got
two points last week.

Speaker 3 (53:08):
But I'm just thinking about all the betters are going
to be on that Steeler game, and if the Steelers
look crappy, I bet that the numbers low. But if
the Steelers beat up on the Bengals, I think Steelers
are four point favorites on the road.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
I think one where I think either way, because again,
Houston scored what sixteen points against sixteen or nineteen against
Kansas City lost that game, scored two against Baltimore. They're
not going to do anything to improve their lot this week.
I still think that game's probably like two points Steelers favored. Yeah,

(53:43):
I lean that way too.

Speaker 3 (53:44):
I don't know what the betting lines have been like
for the Texans. So they one of these teams that
people still think are good.

Speaker 2 (53:50):
I think so. I think the Steelers have been underestimated
in that regard over the course of the season.

Speaker 3 (53:55):
I don't think people realize how bad some of the
Texans issues are on offense.

Speaker 2 (53:59):
Yeah they don't. They still think that CJ. Strouds the
rookie of the year and playing like the rookie ye,
and he's not, and he's been beaten up. Yeah, so
get to that game. We get to that game. What
if they go to Baltimore. I think it was what
seven the first time around down there. I bet it'd
be more Probably I would take the points. I would too,
but I bet it'd be a big line eight and

(54:19):
a half something like that like that. That game ended
up thirty four to seventeen. It wasn't that kind of games.

Speaker 3 (54:26):
I'm sure Baltimore will look really good in a standalone game. Yeah,
to influence the.

Speaker 2 (54:31):
Line, but less for I mean, I just I just
go back to the the interception that Lamar Jackson threw.
And if you're if you're watching Hard Knocks, and they
and they showed Harble after the interception, and he's like,
here we go again, because it was it was a
one score game at that point. Yeah, yeah, no, I
wouldn't count him out in Baltimore.

Speaker 3 (54:49):
Ever, I think it could win. And in a way,
if you're Baltimore, that's not exactly the match It's not the.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
Matchup you want. No, this is a team that's beating
you eight of the less ten times.

Speaker 3 (54:56):
And if you lose, if you even if you win,
what are you gonna feel like the next round? And
you know what I mean, it's going to be a
physic you know. Yeah, that's not the ideal way to
start a great playoff run.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
But we both think the Steelers win this one. I do.
I feel pretty strong about it. I do too.

Speaker 3 (55:10):
I mean, I have great respect for Burrow and his
receivers are awesome. But it's team game, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 2 (55:18):
If it was just if if we're one seven on
seven passing camp, give me Joe Burrow, right, give me
Jimmy Chase, gimme Higgins, give me what they got. But
that ain't. That's not what this is.

Speaker 3 (55:27):
When they put eleven on both sides. And let's say
that the twenty five Bengals that are going to play
the most snaps, most of them are a problem. I mean, no,
three of them are wonderful. The rest of them are
kind of a problem. Yeah, I just don't think they're
very talented, including the old line.

Speaker 2 (55:45):
I think I'm twelve and four picking Steeler games this year.
I have no clue what I am. I guess I
could probably figure it out. You picked them against the Jets.
I know I lost it picked it. You lost the
Jets game. I lost the Colts and Cowboys losses. That's
that's two of my losses. You also had another one
early in the season where you picked against them.

Speaker 3 (56:03):
I'm pretty sure I picked against them on the three
game losing streak each step of the way. Definitely did Eagles.

Speaker 2 (56:09):
We both picked them against Kansas City. I picked the
Steelers against the Chiefs. Yeah, but we both picked to
lose to the Ravens and Eagles. Yeah. There was one
earlier in the season, though, Was it at Denver? Maybe?
I think you picked the Broncos. Probably. I always picked
the Broncos first. Two weeks of the season. Yeah, I
think that was one as well.

Speaker 3 (56:26):
I think if I picked them to lose or I
definitely picked the Broncos plus points. They were favoring that game, Steelers.
I think the Broncos were, were they? Yeah, then I
took Denver.

Speaker 2 (56:38):
Yeah, I know I have. I think I have a
two game lead on you in terms of that, not
that I've been keeping track of it, and I.

Speaker 3 (56:44):
Just know that well, I just know that there was
we both took them against Atlanta, right, Yeah, I said
Atlanta was a hard team to judge it.

Speaker 2 (56:53):
Oh, you definitely. You definitely picked him against the Did
you picked the Jets? Yeah, and you picked I think
it was Denver. Adds up because Denver early in the
season is something I always do. Yeah. So there's where
we're at. Okay, there we go, Matt. That's going to
do it for the week. Yeah, another good week in
the books. Will be better seasons in the book. Next

(57:13):
week for the playoffs, playoffs, we will break snow and
you're going to be in. Yeah. It's been a couple
of weeks now, you know. And again, the Steelers didn't
back into the playoffs. They clinched a playoffs but a
month ago, right, right, that's different. That's not backing in.

Speaker 3 (57:28):
I mean, I know the Bengals, if they get in,
would be on a five game winning streak. But that's
backing in. You need this guy to losing, this guy
to Way, and then it's got.

Speaker 2 (57:34):
To lose if Denver. If Denver were to lose on
Sunday to Kansas City and both Miami and Cincinnati lost,
that's backing into the playoffs. Yeah yeah, yeah, you backed
into hoping that somebody else or something, right, Yeah, that's
not where the Steelers are at right now, but they
clinched a long time ago. Yeah. Anyways, for my partner
