Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings Defeat The Indianapolis Colts 21-13 at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday Night to improve to 6-2. The first half ended with a 7-0 score which came from the Colts hitting a scoop-and-score on a Vikings sack fumble in the 2nd quarter. The Vikings tied the game early in the 3rd quarter on a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Addison. The Vikings added 2 more touchdown passes to Jalen Nailor and Josh Oliver in the 2nd half to take a 21-10 lead. The Colts added a field goal at the backend of the 4th but the Vikings recovered a late onside kick to seal the victory. Sam Darnold was 28-of-34 for 290 yards passing, tossed 3 touchdowns, and had 2 interceptions. Aaron Jones led the Vikings running attack with 64 yards on the ground and 18 yards through the air. Justin Jefferson once again led the receiving game with 137 yards through the air. Kicker Will Reichard missed his first 2 field goal attempts of the season but was perfect on his three extra points. Defensively, Jonathan Greenard added in 2 sacks, Jihad Ward also notched a sack, Harrison Smith had a fumble recovery, and Byron Murphy Jr. grabbed his 2nd interception of the season. Paul Allen and Pete Bercich breakdown the victory from U.S. Bank stadium, including: the defense stepping up big versus the Colts rushing game, Cam Robinson stepping in for Christian Darrisaw, the domination in time of possession, Darnold's comfort in throwing to Hockenson, and look ahead to the Vikings upcoming road schedule. Plus, Kevin O'Connell and Sam Darnold spoke in the postgame press conferences about the victory. All of this and more is in tonight's edition of the Vikings Postgame Report.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
It was a slump busting Sunday at US Bank Stadium.
The Minnesota Vikings snapped a two game losing streak and
beat the Indianapolis Colts twenty one to thirteen. Welcome to
the postgame report with the Vikings radio network analyst Pete Bursag.
I'm Paul Allen. Twenty one to thirteen a game. Josh
Oliver had a career high in five with five receptions.

(00:35):
Sam Darnold threw a couple of picks. They couldn't get
to Joe Flacco until the end of the game when
Jonathan Grenard had a couple of sacks.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Vikings win by eight. Your thoughts, Well, the defense answered
the call today. They definitely rebounded. They definitely did not
like the last two performances. And for the Colts, they
really only scored six points on the Vikings defense all
night right, and we limited them the only two hundred
and twenty seven total yards, only sixty eight.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
On the ground.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
I mean, this is what we thought, is that they
were going to take Jonathan Taylor and pound the rock,
make a quick passing game, only one hundred and fifty
nine yards passing net interset.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
You know, a couple of turnovers.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
I mean the defense really, I think answered the call
of Dallas turners out there making plays. Grenard's making plays.
They figured out how to live without Cashman, right, They
figured that whole thing out, and the defense had a
swagger about it tonight that it hasn't had over the
last couple of weeks.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
Well, Josh Oliver had a touchdown. He now has three
touchdowns this year. That's a career high for Josh Oliver,
and he complimented Jefferson beautifully. Justin Goes seven catches one
thirty seven, Jordan Addison five forty two to one, and
Sam Darnold finished the game twenty eight to thirty four,
two hundred and ninety yards, three touchdowns and two picks,

(01:53):
and also was exit was operating behind an offensive line
that featured Cam Robinson at left town a Christian Darosol
lost for the season in that Rams game. Cam Robinson
he got here, like seventy two hours ago, play pretty
well and I love.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
The swagger at least to play where he followed Aaron
Jones out of bounds and was there to help pick
off people off the pile. I mean, that's an attitude
that we love. But for a guy that just really
his bags probably aren't even unpacked yet, and he's out there,
you know, firing a bullet for this offense.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
I think that's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Now he gets to go back down to Jacksonville, the
team that just got rid of him, right, so we've
got the revenge factor there. He knows that team very
very well. That's going to be interesting. So overall, Paul,
just the time of possession is something we've struggled with
that the entire season, and today we tonight we just
absolutely dominated The Colts. Came in last in the league

(02:44):
in time of possession, averaged only twenty six minutes. We
held onto the ball for thirty six, almost thirty seven
minutes of this game. That's why the end went the
way it did. That's why we were able to get
ten twelve fifteen yards a chunk running the football.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
That is it's an old school kind of way of
doing it.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
It's we're used to seeing it with the Adrian Peterson bit, right,
we grew up watching teams just get worn out and
then have Adrian run roughshot all over them. I mean,
look what happened in the second half of the Chargers
game when he put up two hundred and fifty four
yards on the ground in one half of a football game.

Speaker 3 (03:18):
So it's just a little more patience on offense.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I'd love that we go for the juggular, but when
you're taking those risks, be a little bit more careful.
I think Donald for sure through two bad picks today,
right both. I don't think either of them were very good.
Great Flaco at least, you know, responded with one of
his own.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
But we survived it. We got through it.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
When the defense is playing the way that it is,
it's going to give Donald at least some type of
calm where he can overcome these things and learn and
get better. So overall, you left JJ one on one,
we burned you. You didn't pay attention to Addison. He
was unbelievable in the red zone and putting up one
of the touchdowns. Oh, by the way, Josh Oliver, you
guys are all worried about Hackinson.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Well we got eighty four.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
You know it just a very well planned out and
executed game plan.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I think on both sides of the ball, Tonight.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Well and Justin Jefferson seven catches one hundred and thirty
seven yards on nine targets.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Now, he is.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
He's one yard shy of passing Adam Thielen for fourth
all time for receiving yards in the history of Vikings football.
Pretty good for Justin who came into the league in
twenty twenty. Jefferson, by the way, also had a completed pass.
He was one of one passing for twenty two yards
and when the on side kick mattered everything at the
end of the game, Colts kicked it to the right.

(04:37):
It was Justin Jefferson who hauled it in. Now, speaking
of receptions, Pete Sam Darnold hit nine different guys, Jefferson
Oliver with five, Addison with five, Hawkinson with three, Jones
with four, Powell and Sherfield Senior each with one. Cam
Akers caught a couple. Jalen Naylor caught one and it
was a touchdown.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Right, and so you know for Jalen Nale or that's
his fourth touchdown in the year, I believe already. So yeah,
you know what I did like though, is just the
just the rapport between he and Hockinson. Hockinson was in
some zones and settled in there and Darnold got the
ball right to him. It's like it's almost as if
they'd been playing together for a while. There was no

(05:18):
rust to be knocked off on, you know, in that situation.
So I mean through the air, if we could just
keep the blocking up front solid and Paul again, I
go see, I go back to what happened in the
first in the first half, went to Forrest Buckner and
Grover Stewart were just killing us up the middle, just
killing us well, time of possession, time of possession, running

(05:40):
the ball round, the ball, hand down the I didn't
we didn't hear. We didn't hear a thing from Quitty
pay deo a dangbo u la to. We've not a
thing from any of their outside linebackers, and so we
us wearing them down up front allowed us to throw
the football without a lot of pressure in the second hand.
So the way we won this game excites me.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
Obviously.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
It's because it's a little bit it's a physical type
of a win, and we're not you know, we don't
always win that way, but this game, we physically won
this game.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
It was a final of twenty one to thirteen. Kevin
O'Connell is now to and zero against the Indianapolis Colts
in his third year coaching the Minnesota Vikings, and Kevin
had this to say after the game.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
All Right, proud of our team. You know, adversity absolutely
something that I was. I was proud of the way
we responded. There's a lot of there was a lot
of things that we really wanted to emphasize, starting with
our defense. I thought they were really the backbone tonight
for us, not only forcing turnover turnovers with Murph and Harry,

(06:49):
but just the way they were able to answer the
bell even on a short field there in the second half.
Credit to Flow his staff and all of our players
for that, for that effort. Thought our team limited penalties.
I don't think we had any pre snap things offensively,
really tried to obviously emphasize that. I know it's been
talked about at length, but a good example, Uh if

(07:13):
if we at least start there, I think we averaged
almost six yards of play, moved it all night. Uh,
some critical turnovers and and and then we've got a
even against a good front with a new you know,
new left tackle. Still the expectation is, you know, just
to protect Sam a little bit more, give him an opportunity, uh,
to keep you know, getting the ball out of his hands.
Thought there were some huge performances from Jets. I loved

(07:36):
the way, uh, you know, Cam Akers popped a little
bit coming in there, really showing what what he's capable of.

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (07:43):
And then you know, Jordan Addison's catch was one of
the better catches over there on a in a pretty
critical moment coming out of coming out of half wanting.

Speaker 4 (07:51):
To get seven.

Speaker 5 (07:52):
Josh Oliver was huge, critical touch, the catch everybody's.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
Going to talk about at the end in four minute.

Speaker 5 (07:57):
But I thought he was a fantastic block or as
he always is, physical all night long and was really significant.
Give credit to Cam Robinson showing up here about seventy
two hours ago and played a lot of snaps for us,
and once again just to Quaycy and his staff.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Are getting that done.

Speaker 5 (08:15):
The feeling you have as a head coach when you
can bring in a player like that on short notice,
trust your staff, but also just being very thankful for
Quas getting that done. And then TJ. Hockinson just unbelievable
seeing eighty seven run out on the field and be
part of this thing because he's a foundational player for
us in this organization.

Speaker 6 (08:34):
Having that first the first drive in the second half
when you had. Is that kind of how you envisioned
because you haven't had TJ at Jordan and at Jefferson
all together.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
I think it was only like the sixth time maybe,
but they've played the entirety. Yeah, the first drive, is
that how you see it going?

Speaker 6 (08:50):
I mean JJ had the big catch and TJ hadn't
want and a Jordan kind.

Speaker 4 (08:54):
Of finished it off. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:55):
I mean, to me, those three guys are who we
want to build our offense around, with Aaron Jones and
and our running game being a major part of what
we want to do. I thought, I know, Sam had
you know, a couple a couple turnovers mixed in there,
and really the you know, I did think that there
was a potential discussion to be had on the play

(09:17):
with the the fumble, just with the you know, the
conversations ongoing just to you know, get a little more
clarity on the protection of our quarterback versus you know what,
what the standard may or may not be. But I'll
continue to get that clarity and coach my guys up
how we need to do it to uh, you know,
to move the football. And turnovers were big, but yes,

(09:41):
I would say for me, we've.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
Got a lot of weapons.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
We just need to continue to trust in the fact
that the next play, if we get eleven guys executing,
we're going to have a good play and then stacking those.
I thought our third down execution getting to fifty percent
for the day was critical, including you know, Speedy on
that on his touchdown catch, which was really nice execution
by the guys, and Sam specifically hanging in there and

(10:06):
making a big time throw coverage.

Speaker 7 (10:09):
Looks you guys got on for Justin tonight. When you
see the one on one coverage, what kind of goes
through your mind whenever that pops up?

Speaker 4 (10:15):
Yeah, we go.

Speaker 5 (10:16):
We go a few snaps now in some games without
seeing it, so you know, I I normally try to
hide you know, my reaction to it when we break
the huddle and I can tell what may about what
may might occur, Ben, But yeah, it was a critical
moment for Sam and him to pitch and catch on

(10:36):
that long throw, getting us down there and ultimately get seven.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
But Justin I thought was phenomenal.

Speaker 5 (10:42):
I really felt him all game long from a leadership standpoint,
which is, you know, phenomenal to see along with Bo
and CJ Aaron Jones in that huddle. We've got you know,
we've got some guys that I really lean into and
rely upon really across our whole team, very.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
Fortuate to coach this football team.

Speaker 6 (11:02):
That Sam's game in totality with everything that he did.

Speaker 5 (11:06):
Yeah, I mean twenty eight to thirty four through a
bunch of completions, was was very accurate, had some critical
pitching catches for some huge kind of.

Speaker 4 (11:16):
Igniting plays for us.

Speaker 5 (11:19):
You know that first drive, he's trying to make a
play off schedule there.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
Got to go back and look at it.

Speaker 5 (11:24):
But they played zone coverage split safety like we saw
the majority of the night, and he's just moving a
chance to you know, possibly find Jalen Naylor out in
the flats.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Late in the down.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
But he's I want him to be aggressive on those
scrambles because he's a very talented thrower. Might have just
left that you know a little short there. If you
can get it up and over the defender, maybe TJ
has a shot at it. But once again, gonna be
my trust in Sam is something that I think is
going to be a winning edge for our football team
and to win a football game. When we lose the

(11:56):
turnover battle, that means your quarterback played well. That means
there was some plays to be made. Twenty nine first downs.
We moved it and just stayed the course. Although you'd
like to see us be able to capitalize on the
defensive performance and you know, not have zero points at halftime,
but proud of the twenty one in the second half,
Proud of the way our guys.

Speaker 7 (12:15):
Battle the officials after the funnel. What explanation did they
give you for why to.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
Pick that flag up?

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (12:22):
They you know, they it seemed to be they were
concerned about whether it was a face mask or not.
I you know, that was not part of my argument.
I just thought that there was contact to the head
and neck area of the quarterback.

Speaker 8 (12:33):
You have a next stretch after halftime when you go score,
stop score, and we saw that a lot from the
five mis star in that Avalanche game.

Speaker 5 (12:40):
Yeah, that's still in this football team, Dane. It's still
very much a part of who we are. Look, we
lost we lost two very tough games in five days,
one of which we went to the West Coast, you know,
four days after losing to the team that's the top
of the division and a really good football team that
we were right down to the wire, trying to win
in front of our fans at home against Uh, you know,

(13:02):
I got to make sure I continue to do a
better job. It starts with me always. But I do
know this, I do know our guys had a great
week of prep. It felt like we were had that
pop back. We're flying around, especially defensively and uh, you know, offensively,
the execution was improved. I think, you know, I think
there's a lot to pull from this and yet still

(13:24):
have a lot of runway to improve as a team
when we can limit our turnovers and still have that
kind of performance in certain aspects of our offense. And
then I flat out loved the last drive, you know,
really getting you know, they know we're running it. We're
running it Aaron physical guys, you know, winning at the
line of scrimmage. And then right about the time you

(13:45):
you you get a chance to, you know, try try
to throw one in or at least subtly offset what
they're doing to defend the run, we throw a touchdown.
So big time performance there late by the offensive line,
leaning on people Josh Oliver, Johnny Munt and then to
put it in there, a big time moment. Yeah, hopefully
people saw a guy that knows how to run the football,

(14:09):
not only just in this offense, but at this level.
I mean the patients, the ability to find space. It's
a good front. It's a good front when they've got
ninety and ninety nine and there we're trying to stay
connected and really try to get some movement. So a
lot of times the subtleness and the patience of the
back helps those guys stay on those combinations a little

(14:30):
longer we get that movement, jo Mont, you know TJ.
I thought c JHM gave us some good snaps as
well in twenty one. But to find that space in
there both, you know, by him there, you know, when
he had got a chance to really I think it
speaks to watching Aaron kind of seeing some things and then.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
Go right in there and have it applied.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
You know. I thought it was I thought it was big,
and it was great to see him out there and
doing his thing.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Second interception is he just maybe going.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
To quick throne.

Speaker 5 (14:58):
He's aggressive those dagger throws now, and he throws them
about any as well as anybody I've ever been around.
It's one of his favorite throws. First and ten P
and ten want to stay aggressive as a play caller.
I thought the protection was phenomenal on that play. That's
just you know, as you knows, as great as he
feels about ripping those dagger cuts, sometimes the defense can
make you say no, check the ball down and move on,

(15:21):
like he did when we needed to throughout the night.
And you know, the twenty eight to thirty four is
you know, speaks to his ability to flat out throw
the pill. I mean, this guy can throw the football
and love every aspect of what he's doing within our
offense right now. And I'm sure Sam will be hard
on himself about those two interceptions, but I'm going to

(15:42):
stay aggressive with him because I do think my confidence
in him, which is genuine, it's real. It is, like
I said, a winning edge for us moving forward.

Speaker 6 (15:50):
The broadcast, they mentioned that Bill Rekerd might have had
some like thigh discomfort or or he was uncomfortable or getting.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
Treatment for us or anything there.

Speaker 5 (15:58):
Yeah, just at some point the first at some point
in the first half, don't know whether it was a
field goal attempt or kickoff, but he started to feel
a little tightness in there. Definitely something to monitor as
we kind of moved forward, and in regards to that
I probably should have updated you guys on you know,

(16:18):
a couple more injuries out and Pace returning able to return.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
I thought that was huge, you know, as the Green Dot.

Speaker 5 (16:26):
One more game without Blake and and Ip just keeps
getting better and better for us. So outside of that,
I think, you know, for the most part, we did
all right tonight injury wise. But yeah, I'll keep you
guys posted on Will. He wasn't, had no flinch and
just he was ready to go if we needed him to.

Speaker 1 (16:43):
All right, coach, thank you, Jacksonville. Next, a strange thing
developed in this game. Our rookie kicker Will Reiker had
not missed all year. He missed his first two field
goals and missed him.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
Both, right, yeah, and but he came back and answered,
you know, and answered it, so you know, I and
I even said, sarcastically, we can't have nice things in Minnesota,
but right, you know, we've we've we've really benefited from
Riker to all this season. We really could have used
a couple of those field goals tonight in such a
close game. But hopefully, you know, that's a slump that
that he can you know, get out of or get

(17:15):
himself out of and you know, self correct, nothing points
to the fact that this is anything but a hicck,
you know, a little bump in the road.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
Yes, sir, you know, here we go.

Speaker 1 (17:25):
Say I'm Darnold finished twenty eight of thirty four two
hundred and ninety yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions, and
he addressed the media shortly after the game.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
Great team win.

Speaker 8 (17:36):
You know, obviously we would have liked to be better
in the first half. You know, can't turn the ball
over the way I did today, first and foremost, but
just a resilient group. Our defense played incredible, I thought
most of the game. And then you know, our offensive
line or running backs or receivers are tight ends. The
way that they were able to block throughout the entire

(17:57):
game really kind of set the tone for the game,
and that was kind of the I felt like the
reason we were able to finish the way that we
did with that last touchdown.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
Question, same, you.

Speaker 7 (18:13):
Just quickly take us through just the two interceptions and
what maybe you.

Speaker 8 (18:17):
Were saying, Yeah, you know, uh, the first one thought
I had to throw to TJ in the back of
the end zone. Just got to get it over that backer.
Just just didn't make a good throw. Just gotta be
careful when I'm down there, you know, knowing that we
have points, especially early in the game, and then the
second one is just a bad decision. Just got to
be able to check that ball down, first down, first play,

(18:39):
the drive, just being smarter with the football that way,
maybe you performance in the game.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
How do you sort of look at those two along
with the you know, the touchdown passes and the positive
yards and all that that and the win that How
do you kind of process all of that together into
atality in terms of how you think you did.

Speaker 8 (18:59):
Yeah, haven't yet, to be honest, you know, I'll watch
the tape and kind of evaluate it.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
I felt like.

Speaker 8 (19:07):
We played a really clean game as an offense, besides
my turnovers, which was good, you know. I felt like
we were really good with no self inflicted all those
things penalty wise, Like pre snap, I felt like we
were getting in and out of the huddle. Tempo was
really good all day, So we were really really efficient
as an offense that way.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
Just to got to take care of the football.

Speaker 7 (19:29):
Touchdown of Josh there. What led you to to take
the high out route on that looks like you had
kind of three levels there, were to go with the
deeper one.

Speaker 8 (19:38):
Yeah, it just popped, you know, Josh just popped on
that one. So the backer and you know, uh, panic
mode a little bit trying to get back to them.
So just felt the space.

Speaker 4 (19:49):
Jordian, what did you see on their play? What'd you
taken faces?

Speaker 8 (19:53):
Yeah, just felt the again, like I just said, kind
of felt the space, felt the corner kind of come
down on on Aaron in the fly and felt like
I had a good, good window there. And then the
catch was unbelievable for him to be able to snag
that the way that he did, you know, and keep
you know, the ball away from the ground just unbelievable.

(20:15):
Body controled by Jordan that throw to Justin.

Speaker 7 (20:19):
I mean how much your eyes light up when you
see kind of single coverage like.

Speaker 6 (20:23):
That on him.

Speaker 8 (20:24):
Yeah, you know, anytime, really, anytime we get that matchup,
if we have the right you know the play called,
you know, it's gonna be you know, a tough cover
for anyone really, for any of our skill guys if
they get a matchup one on one, I feel very
confident about them beating the guy in front of him,
you know, to be completely honest, I underthrow it. I

(20:47):
didn't want to overthrow him. If I had thrown a
perfect ball, he would would have gotten a touchdown. But
you know, just again, he beat him and I just
tried to put it on him as best I.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Could pick up the play the pumpet.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
That's two weeks of Now, that's a tough calls against you.

Speaker 8 (21:04):
Yeah, m you know, for for myself, I felt like
I could have held onto the football first and foremost
on that. But those the calls are what they are.
You know, it's not my job to evaluate that or
talk about that. Even so that's really all I say
about it.

Speaker 5 (21:25):
You mentioned kind of like you haven't they process that
you were watching the field, Like, how is it hard
for you not to be overly critical on yourself or
do you feel like.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
You are or not at all?

Speaker 8 (21:38):
Yeah, I feel like just with the experience you know
that I've had throughout the league of of playing bad
games playing good games, like, it's just you know, you
continue to learn from experiences, and you know, the two
interceptions and the fumble, you know, those are experiences that
I'll learn from. Obviously, great to be able to come
out with a win, but could have easily gone the

(22:01):
other way, and so just understanding that and understanding that
we just got to come back to work tomorrow, continue
to you know, uh work, and stacked days of of
good practice together and get ready for for Jacksonville.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
See what does it tell you about yourself to lead
on your abilities when you know you have the turnovers,
you have the call that doesn't go your way, but
the coach still leads any for the big play in
the fourth quarter.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Just what does that say about yourself?

Speaker 8 (22:26):
Yeah, I mean we we just got to come back
out and play football. You know, It's it's that simple.
You know, you come out, you make a mistake. Obviously
it sucks, you don't want it to happen, but it's
part of the game and you just got to continue
to go out there and play football.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Camp Robinson from being in the back of the.

Speaker 7 (22:45):
Field, you know, but what you feel like he provided
for for the.

Speaker 8 (22:50):
Offense or just an unwavering confidence in the huddle, you know,
with with the way that he was able to go
out there and execute a game plan. Obviously haven't watched
the tape yet, but it seemed that he was very
very confident to be able to go out there and
execute and I felt like he did a really good job.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
The biggest reason you feel like it was smoother from
an operational standpoint, no pre snap penalties. I think that's
the biggest thing that sticks out.

Speaker 8 (23:21):
And again, we were able to you know, even in
the first half, we were able to move the football.
We just kind of, you know, kind of idled down
a little bit once we got into their territory. So
we'll just continue to look at the tape and clean
those things up well.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
The Minnesota Vikings, on this lump busting Sunday, uh snapped
that two game losing streak. Now they head to Jacksonville
Losers today to the Philadelphia Eagles. Cam Robinson goes against
his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars. As a Pete said earlier,
Trevor Lawrence and Travis etch In and the rest of
the gang after that the vik The Vikings up three

(23:56):
consecutive road games at Jacksonville, at Nashville against the Titans
than a soldier field, all winnable. Nothing's easy in the
National Football League, but this one was needed this Sunday
evening to go to six and two.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
I can't agree more, especially when you have a situation
where the Bears lost today.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
The Packers lost today, So you're gaining a game on
those two opponents.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
You're gonna see all those guys again, the Bears twice,
the Packers one more time, Detroit one more time. So
any win that you can get is huge right now.
And to be six and two in this situation with
these three road games coming up, I mean, don't fall
asleep on Jacksonville. Unbelievably talented team that's been shooting themselves
in the foot with you know, feet, with turnovers.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
Tennessee.

Speaker 2 (24:39):
They have a very good defense if you're not careful.
They just haven't put the pieces together offensively. The Bears
right now, they're in fighting, right they're in fighting. We've
seen it on social media and then it really shows
it to rears. It's ugly ahead and the game day
against Arizona, so who knows where they're going to be
in two weeks.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
So it's weird.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
It's not always who you play, but when you play
them and the Vikings now got to take this thing
down to Jacksonville and find a.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Way to win down there. Great job as usual. I
appreciate you. Pee Versa channalists for the Vikings Radio Network
and I'm Paul Allen. Good news for Minneapolis this Sunday night.
The Minnesota Vikings improved a six and two with an
eight point victory over the Indianapolis Colts. This is a
