Ever feel like you're trapped in a cycle of doing the same thing over and over, wondering why progress seems impossible despite your best efforts? Coach Mikki tackles this universal challenge head-on, revealing why Albert Einstein's famous definition of insanity, doing the same thing repeatedly while expecting different results, remains one of life's most powerful yet overlooked lessons.

Through compelling football analogies that anyone can understand, Coach Mikki demonstrates how we often run the same ineffective plays in our lives, businesses, and relationships, then wonder why we're perpetually stopped at the line of scrimmage. The defense knows exactly what's coming because we've become predictable, comfortable in our patterns despite their clear ineffectiveness. The solution isn't complicated, but it requires courage: we must recognize our stagnant patterns and commit to trying something anything different.

What typically holds us back isn't knowledge but fear of the unknown.

Coach Mikki acknowledges this fear while emphasizing that uncertainty is an unavoidable part of growth. Even the best-executed plans can encounter unexpected obstacles, yet this shouldn't paralyze us into inaction. By taking that first step outside our comfort zones, committing to new approaches, and surrounding ourselves with supportive people, we create momentum. Each small victory moves the chains forward until we reach our personal end zone of success. Stop overthinking what might go wrong, make those necessary changes, and watch as extraordinary possibilities unfold in your life. Ready to break free from routine and transform your results? Coach Mikki shows you exactly how to make it happen.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Okay, bring it in.
Bring it in, listen up, listenup, listen up.
So do you find that you'redoing the exact same thing every
single day?
And then you're wondering whyyou're not getting different
results.
Do you feel like the chains inyour life are just not moving?
Well, you can't do the exactsame thing and expect different

(00:20):
results.
Albert Einstein said doing thesame thing over and over again
and expecting different resultsis insanity.
And really it is.
So let's try to picture this.
What if I went out on the fieldand I ran the exact same play
over and over and over again, and I did it all game time?
Well, what do you think isgoing to happen?
The defense is going to knowexactly what I'm going to play,

(00:43):
so they're going to stop meright there at the line of
scrimmage and we're never goingto move the chains.
It's just not going to everhappen.
Well, that's what happens inlife, whether it's within your
business, whether it's in yourrelationship, whether it's just
with everything that you'retrying to do for yourself.
You're just going through themotions.
You're just kind of like anautopilot.
You're not actually makingchanges to move along, to make

(01:07):
something different.
You have to start recognizingwhat are the things that you're
doing that are the same samething over and over again.
Now it's never easy coming upwith a new play because you're
like, well, what do I do?
Where am I going to go?
The difference is is, if youalready know what's not working,
then doing anything differentis going to give you a different

(01:29):
outcome.
You have to look and see whatis not working and then go from
there.
I know sometimes uncertainty canbe a little scary and I know
it's unpredictable, but when youwant to really make significant
change in your life, you'regoing to have to take that risk
and then just deal with it.

(01:50):
It's not that difficult to say, okay, I'm going to make change,
I'm going to take one step andthen I'm just going to put it
forward.
What holds us back is just thefear because of the unknown.
We don't know where it's goingto take us.
We don't know what's going tohappen, and the uncertainty can
be a scary thing.

(02:10):
But I'll tell you right now, you're never going to get
something.
That's going to be.
This is going to be a positiveresult of what's going to happen
or this is going to beabsolutely the outcome.
That's just not the way life iswe could do things that we
think are great and doeverything and give it
everything we got, and it stillgoes haywire.

(02:31):
I ran some of the mostwell-executed plays and I've ran
some of the most well-practicedthings that we've wanted to run
.
And we get out on the field andthe defense throws us something
completely different that wedidn't expect.
And that's just the way life is.
You're going to come against adefense that you don't know what
they're going to do, but thatdoesn't mean that you have to

(02:53):
keep running the same play overagain because it's comfortable.
You have to go out there andtake a risk.
You have to do somethingdifferent.
You know we always get scared.
We have to step out of ourcomfort zone, but you have to do
something that's fresh.
You have to take a fresh action.
You have to decide on that newskill, on that new commitment,

(03:18):
on something else that's justgoing to take you out of the old
routine.
You can't allow fear to keepholding you at that line of
scrimmage.
You got to change the momentumand you just got to keep going
and you're going to start to seethe chains move.
They just will.
And the more they move and themore steps you take, the closer
you're going to get to your endzone of success.

(03:40):
You know we got to stop lookingat what's not going to work and
why is it working.
And you just got to go outthere and do it and you've got
to make those changes.
I promise you start changingthese plays in your life, start
surrounding yourself with a teamthat's going to support you and
bring you to that end zone ofsuccess, and you're going to

(04:02):
start to see extraordinarythings happen in your life.
So go out there and startstrong and finish strong and
dominate everything in between.
I'm Coach Mickey, let's go.
And if you haven't yet, I wouldbe really grateful if you went
on Amazon and got my book Fourthin One Mindset.
This is going to bring togethereverything that we usually talk

(04:22):
about on this podcast and thisYouTube channel.
