This is building a creative life. Where I’m bringing the world of creativity to your door, through my lens as a lifelong artist and creator.

I have conversations about small creative daily moments, big sweeping career choices and everything in between. I’m on a journey and I’m taking you with me!

I hope these conversations entertain and enlighten you and most of all encourage you to work towards finding your own creative voice, whatever that looks like. Because ther’s no wrong way to be creative.

This podcast is about all the ways we can build a creative life, through art, beauty, adventure, exploration, creative careers, hobbies, and more. Through casual conversations with artists, creators, and everyday people we’ll explore the choices and stories that shape our creative journeys.

And we’ll chat about how creativity shows up in our lives. Some are complete life overhauls, others have found a parallel path of having a traditional career, with creative outlets on the side. Or they may just romanticize their life by adding small droplets of creativity throughout their day.

In addition to being a full-time decorative artist for over 30 years, I license my artwork on products, I create surface pattern designs, I’m a published author and a Substack writer. You can see more of what I do on my website at PamVale.com.

Often my creative expression is making actual art but sometimes it's hunting for vintage sea pottery, planning a party, researching a trip, upcycling clothing, renovating a dollhouse, cutting flowers or simply how I brew my cup of tea.

Building a Creative Life isn't your typical "how to be creative podcast". It isn’t about me giving you instructions or assignments on how to reignite your creative spark. It’s showing you what’s possible.

I believe there are no accidents and people are put in our paths for a reason. Whatever brought you to me, I'm glad you're here.

It all boils down to this… YOU get to decide what creativity and self-expression means for you. No one else. Do you want to paint your house black, wear vintage clothing or make a career shift to a completely new profession? Do it!

There are no rules and it’s never too late.
