SPEAKER_00 (00:23):
Greetings and
welcome back to Breezeway.
And I'm your girl Brie.
What we're going to talk aboutis our choices versus our fears.
And you'll find that every daythis will be the foundation, my
platform that I'll be using tohelp us realize our choices and
(00:43):
our fears, and how we can becomein control of it all.
Realizing that we have morecontrol and power within
ourselves than we even realize.
How our fears hold us back, howwe can choose, how we feel with
repetitious thoughts and ouractions.
(01:04):
I'm telling you guys it can bedone because I do it every day.
Okay?
When I woke up this morning, Ichose to start these videos and
make this YouTube channel toreach out to you guys and
hopefully make somebody's lifebetter and shine a little better
(01:25):
light on everyone's dailyactivities and way of thinking.
Okay.
Um, every day that we wake up islike a birthday.
We are born again every day thatwe open our eyes.
And before you even get out ofbed, you should be making
(01:46):
choices on what your day isgoing to consist of and how
you're going to live it.
How is your day going to go?
How are you going to maneuveryour day?
What choices are you going tomake today?
You're in the driver's seat.
You are in control.
Don't let your fears overcrowdyou and detour you down another
(02:09):
road.
Let's say, for instance, themajority of you are getting up,
going to work, whether it beoutside the house or in the
home, make that choice thistoday.
Make that choice to say, youknow what?
No one and nothing is going tobother me today.
I'm going to go in, and this isgoing to be, I'm going to make
(02:29):
this day the best day.
I'm going to live my best lifetoday.
But then you get to work, youhave to stand your ground and
what your choice is, okay?
Don't allow anyone to come intoyour story.
Again, I say you are the author, okay?
You're the driver of your life.
(02:52):
Make that choice and keep onthat path and keep on that
direction, that navigation ofhow you want your life to be
done today.
So don't get the word saying, you know, hey, I'm going to make
this my day.
I ain't going to let nobodyupset me.
And then here comes that oneperson.
That one person that, you know, that person that I'm talking
about.
That one person that can justgrind your gears and really
(03:13):
press the right button.
This is where control comes in.
This is where control comes into say, you know what?
I'm not even going to allow youto steal my joy, to steal my
energy.
You make that choice to say, this is the day that the Lord
has made, and I'm going to beglad and rejoice in it.
(03:35):
And I'm not going to let yournegativity spill over into me.
That's the control that I'mtalking about, guys.
The control to say, I'm notgoing to let that bother me.
Okay.
Make that choice to stand yourground, state a path, and keep
going in that direction.
Maybe you have a fear waking upthis morning.
(03:57):
Maybe you had a have a fear.
Let's see, uh, some of thethings that I've feared, you
know, let's talk about now,okay?
I always have the fear of mychildren going outside and
(04:18):
something happening to them,right?
And I always pray and say, Lord, protect my children or whatever.
And then I still continue toworry about it because it's the
fear in me that's praying for mychildren to be okay when they're
when they're going to school, orpraying for my grandchildren
(04:40):
when they're going to school.
Nothing happens to them.
Then I turn around and let fear, after I just made the choice to
pray and leave it in God'shands, I take back over.
Well, actually, I don't takeback over.
My fears take back over.
Then my fears start to navigate, navigate my way of thinking.
So the way that I defeat that isI say, okay, you know what,
(05:04):
fear?
I'm not letting you have ittoday.
And then I already gave it tothe hands of my creator.
And this, I'm gonna leave itright with him.
Okay.
So that is me controlling myfear and making a choice to let
it go and give it over to God.
(05:24):
Okay.
Now, with repetitious thinking,I have to keep telling myself,
you know, because we are allhuman, you know, we make plans,
we make decisions, and as soonas we make them, you know,
something can easily just comein and just shake up everything
that we said that we were goingto do.
That's what I'm talking about, waking up, making that choice to
(05:45):
have a good day.
And then as soon as you getthere, somebody can just, you
know, push that right button.
It all goes out the window.
But what we need to do is justsit back sometimes, sit back,
relax, think, take that momentto think and say, you know what?
I'm in control here.
(06:07):
I'm in control, and I choose notto let this negativity or this
fear take over and reroute myday because I am the driver.
I am the author of this book.
So I'm gonna continue to not letyou bother me.
I'm gonna continue to not let myfears overtake my thoughts, and
(06:29):
I'm gonna repetitiously in myhead keep saying that to myself
so I can carry on throughout myday.
I want you guys just to whateverit is that's going on in your
life right now.
I want you to do a repetitiousthinking.
Positive, repetitious thinking.
(06:50):
Put it in your head right nowthat I am gonna have a good day.
I am gonna get this promotion.
I am gonna finish out what Istarted, I am going to do what
it is that I was said that I wasgonna do and make it happen and
let no negative person, nonegative thought interject in
(07:10):
what to what in what you'redoing.
I hope that you guys, um, nowlet me understand explain.
I know some of it's because I doit myself too.
Sometimes I back in the day, Iwould get so angry, and before I
could even blink or before Ieven think, I'm just rah-rah,
(07:33):
rah, and you know, before Icould, after I didn't just set
my path on, I'm go to worktoday.
Let me tell you something forthose who have um not had the
experience to be in the army, okay?
The army is one of the mosttoughest jobs out there that you
can have.
Every day that we you wake upand you put on that uniform, you
(07:55):
know that you are about to walkinto chaos, to something.
You never know what's gonnahappen.
You always gotta be prepared.
And sometimes when before my fitfeet would hit that ground, I
would have to say, Lord give mestrength to deal with whatever
was going on at that time.
(08:15):
Soon as I get to work, that oneperson, you know, whoever it
was, maybe in my early career, that one person that could just
get under my skin and I knew shewas coming.
And I was like, before you knewit, now I didn't talk to myself
in the morning, but as soon as Igot there and she gave me that
(08:36):
one little snooty attitude ofthat one look, I did it all and
then went out the window now.
So now I'm about it.
I now I'm ready to, you know, get into this confrontation
because you didn't got, youknow, then you didn't took me
there.
And it only took a brief second.
Now, had I have sat back, took aminute to think, I could have
(08:57):
rerouted some of my ways andsome of my actions back then.
But that that was the kind of uhsemi-younger me, and you know,
to where I just didn't take thattime to think and navigate and
not let people take me off of mypath.
And that's because, you know, that you know, when you're
younger, you just don't reallythink about things.
(09:19):
You just like, oh, you I'm notthe one.
You're not gonna come at me likethat.
Rah, rah, rah, rah.
When you're adding, you'rewasting breath, you're wasting
precious time and energy oversometimes people that don't even
deserve that.
So don't let your choice, choices of other people change
your choices.
(09:40):
Okay, that's another thing thatI just want you guys to, for
those of you that are quickreaction type people, and it
doesn't take much for that oneperson that always gets under
your skin to take you off ofyour platform.
You are the king or queen ofyour life establishment, the
(10:04):
building of your life.
You are in control of that withthe help of your creator, my
creator, whoever your God is.
I don't want to, you know, single it out to whatever your
beliefs are, but know that youand whoever or whatever you
believe in, you and that beingare in control of your of your
everyday life.
(10:25):
Okay, let no one else deter youaway from how you want to feel
today.
I just want you to take aminute, take a breath, and think
before you react.
Let nobody steal your joy oryour day away.
Okay.
I'm your girl Brie.
(10:47):
Hopefully, you guys can take alittle bit of that and uh carry
on with your day.
