For Emily Fanjoy, cooking is about more than what's on the plate—it's about where the food comes from and who she shares it with.
Emily's cooking experience is truly unique, shaped by her place-based approach. She grows much of her food on the Oregon coast and gathers with her community through a tradition called "Work Party," where one host feeds 15 to 20 neighborhood friends. This approach to food feels grounded, thoughtful, and deeply connected to the people and places around her.
