Speaker 2 (00:09):
You know, it's the family of feel Man.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
You know what I'm saying already, Man, Josh is a
great friend of the show.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
People don't know.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
Me and Josh talk a lot, man, But he went
he went missing for a little while. I had to
he went missing for a little while, and I and
I understand why you were missing.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Talk about what's going on. Josh.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
I mean, got the chance and you know, work with
the goat Man was able to link with Troy Taylor Man,
which is incredible.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
Man.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
You know, flew out to Atlanta and cut one of
the ones with him.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
You know what I'm saying, Hey, I told you I
left it on the bottom of the post.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
I had had to tell you in person. Uh that's
a record, bro, that's one.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
You've had good songs, always had good songs, but that's
like this, this is one of those ones that just
feel a lot bigger than anything you've ever.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Done to this point.

Speaker 4 (00:58):
Fact No, we've always talked about it, and it's like,
like you say, like you can have big records, you
can have good features with artists, you know what I'm saying,
But it ain't gonna connect until you get that one.
And you know, the city is gonna let you know
when you got that one, which is what the Crib
is doing for me right now.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
You know what I'm saying. So I'm not gonna fumble it.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Yeah, it's it's a good it's a great Actually, it's
a great record, and I'm gonna keep it a buck Josh,
I don't even know the name of it.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I just know it's less.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
Yeah, it's such a good song.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
And the thing of it is is I want artists
to understand Josh has a really great work ethic in
the sense of he understands that, Okay, man, I created
this project.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I'm it sounds good. I love it.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
I love it to the depth, but you don't fall
in love with it to a point where you're not
willing to if this don't work.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
I'm getting back to the last yep yep.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
I mean, you gotta have that drive.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
It's like with sports, with basketball, you gotta have that
drive and you gotta have that determination. You gotta like
the say, you almost got to kind of be obsessed
and saying a little bit with your craft, And that's
kind of how I feel with the music. Like you said,
I have had so many records with you know, big artists,
and it just wasn't able to take me there, you
know what I'm saying, till I was able to connect
and really do what I really enjoyed to do. And
like again, like the city was really getting behind me.

(02:17):
You know, mac Comic today he's like, Yo, if this
don't blow out, I'll quit DJ.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
You know what I'm saying, Like, you know, So that's.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
What we at.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah, it is definitely where we're at. So I know,
I'm not going to try to spoil a thing for you.
We had talked about it like this. This project is
a part of of I guess I was trying not
to reveal anything something that's getting there to happen in
the future.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Signing what's going.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
Yeah, a lot of interest right now, you know, I
would say, you know, from some labels.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
So that's kind of where we head it right now.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
Just coming out of my last situation, it's been two years,
so I feel like I've been able to just readjust
take what I've learned, you know, and now applied within
to this new situation I'm about to roll in. I
don't want to say to.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
You no get it, I get it, but this is
this is what helps.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Now outside of Chicago, are you getting a lot of
love from everybody else?

Speaker 3 (03:07):
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (03:08):
I mean, yeah, The A show me love and Los
Angeles that's my number one market, so which is crazy,
you know?

Speaker 2 (03:13):
So wow, they showed me a lot of love out there.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
So it's good to be in the three major markets,
you know, like Chicago, the A, and Los Angeles.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
You know what I'm saying. So it's cool.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
I love it.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
So I know you pretty much known for doing like
pop up shows. You'll do a pop up show. Are
you gonna take this this record and put it with
a couple of new ones and let people here just
to kind of test it? Or you're just gonna kind
of work this record? See what happens.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
Man. You know, I would obviously love to do a
show love perform, but I mean, right now, everybody is
just showing me that they just want this record, you
know what I'm saying. So, like you said, with the
nods that I've learned over over the time I've been
doing this. I think I'm just gonna really try to
focus on it and hone this sin and make this
that baby. You know what I'm saying This Chicago you know,
RP to rees. Make it a classic classic birthday sexist?

Speaker 2 (04:03):
What's to that?

Speaker 4 (04:03):
You know, it's a Chicago slang. So I think it's
gonna be or has a chance to be, one of
those records.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Yeah, I do. I do.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
So that means we needed to see you in the
nightclubs all, you know, for the for the next couple
of months.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Bro, you got to be outside.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
I'm outside, they got outside.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Yeah, get the hens up filming, get it blazing.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
I know you you you don't like to pop out
all the time, but you gotta be outside.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Ten bottles.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
There it is. You want to tell you fans before
we get about.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
It, man, just shout out to you, Shout out to
the crib, you know, Shout out to Troy Taylor, my manager,
ed Ken, you know, Dino my artist right here. You know,
just just just the career bro, like this one, this
one for y'all.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yeah, and this is what I want to say to this.
I definitely want to say this is that. I'm hoping
that the next interview that we do about this is
at the BET.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Awards, So it's gonna be Man, what's that big T.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
You gotta get him, We gotta get him at b T,
Josh Cat, you know what it is, man,
