kind of Yeah.

I was here and we did like since nineteen seventy
five was headlining, we like flew some fans because not
the ninety seventy five.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
It just came out. So we did a thing.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
And then I got here and like all the radio
stations were like, yo, let's like bring you on so
I wasn't performing, so I pretty much just came into

my friends wanted to go see Kendrick. They were the
same time as nineteen seventy five last year, but I
was like, no, I want to go to the nineteen
seventy five.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
So I went by myself. I've never done that before.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
It was like the greatest show I've ever seen them.

musician because I was trying to like impress lex.
Speaker 1 (01:46):

Yeah, I was like, yeah, I make music, and they
they said, they were like, well you'll never be Mattie
Healy's so I don't care. Literally, that's like and I
just thought that was like hilarious. It was like such
a way to get turned down by a girl who
is beautiful.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
It was a turn down.
Speaker 4 (02:00):
Oh yeah for sure, but listen, listen, we fail and
we fail and that's why we succeed. You know. My
girlfriend's here somewhere and like that that you know, yeah
and uh man, So she said that. So the next
day we wrote the song like kind of as a joke.

then come home and then do three more. So but yeah,
we're just doing some like you know, college campuses. It's
called the Varsity Tour, but this is really just kind
of like our cool down shows and then we're kind
of gonna chill for the rest of the year, I think,

tour for the spring plan.
