(00:00):
Let's talk about the experts.
You know, the ones, white coats, big titles, even bigger egos.
They've got all the fancy jargonand neatly packaged systems
designed to make you feel likethey have the answers.
And for a while, maybe it works.
Until it doesn't.
Until you're right back whereyou started, wondering why

(00:23):
you've done everything right andyou still feel like fucking
shit.
In today's episode, I'm breakingdown the real reason why you're
stuck and introducing you to thefive survival based archetypes
I've seen in hundreds ofclients.
We're diving deep into the mindbody symptom connection, the
four energy bodies, and how tostop chasing symptoms and start

(00:44):
coming home to yourself.
See, we used to trust systems, doctors, institutions, the one
wellness guru with the perfectskin and a cow cow ceremony for
everything.
But now.
The healthcare system is cloggedwith paperwork.
The alternative world is sellinghigh vibe as a cure, and we're
stuck somewhere in between greenjuice and God, just please

(01:08):
fucking help me feel better.
So when you start tryingeverything, therapy, EFT,
somatics, astrology,acupuncture, shadow work, maybe
you're meditating at dawn andMicrodosing at noon.
Maybe you've rage screamed intoa pillow journaled until your
fingers cramped and cleansedevery trauma outta your damn
kitchen pantry.

(01:30):
And yet nothing actually reallyshifts.
You're still bloated, stillanxious, still spiraling and
shame.
Every time you binge or skip aworkout, you spent years
searching for the thing.
And I'm here to tell you.
Girl, you are not crazy.
You're not even lazy.
You're not even broken what youare.

(01:54):
Well, you're stuck in a loopthat most people never escape.
The loop of outsourcing yourdamn healing, because deep down,
you know, it's not out there, the answers aren't in another
protocol of another practitioneror a perfectly curated morning
routine.
They are in you.
And that's the problem becausewhen you've been conditioned to

(02:17):
doubt your body, override yourinstinct and intellectualize
your pain.
The idea of trusting yourselffeels like a foreign language,
but your biology, well, she'sbeen speaking this whole damn
time, and now science iscatching up to what your body
has always known.
That your beliefs, yes, yourthoughts not just shaping your

(02:39):
mood, they're shaping yourentire biology.
Researchers like Dr.
Crom and Dr.
Ellen Langer are proving it thatyour thoughts don't just
influence healing.
They initiate it.
Hormones, neurotransmitters,immune cells, cellular repair,
all impacted, all responsive, all waiting for your inner world

(03:00):
to shift.
So if you've ever wondered whyyou still feel sick, stuck,
inflamed, anxious, or exhausted, even after doing all the right
things, this is your invitationto stop searching and start
listening.
Because healing it's not justabout thoughts, it's about the
energy behind them.
It's about the beliefs buried inthe nervous system, the emotions

(03:23):
your body never got to process, the identities you built to
survive.
And it's about finally learningto decode the signals your
body's been screaming throughsymptoms, cravings, shutdowns,
and exhaustion.
Welcome to Embody this, the NOBS Healing podcast for women who
are done playing small.

(03:43):
I'm Lauren Michelle Jewel, asingle sober business owning
badass who has been humbled ashell by healing.
But I'm not just someone who'slived it.
I've studied it, coached it, andhelped women walk through it for
over seven years in mind, bodyhealth, gut brain science, and
nervous system healing.
I've worked with women who havetried everything, therapy,

(04:04):
diets, supplements, self-helpwork, but still feel
disconnected from their bodies, their health, and their truth.
Because here's the thing,healing isn't a trend.
It's not aesthetic.
It's not an identity.
Healing is embodied, and let mebe real with you, it's hard as
fuck and it's also rewarding asfuck.

(04:27):
I know because I've lived it.
And along the way I realizedsomething.
Modern healing methods arefailing us.
Everything is compartmentalized.
Go to therapy.
They say, take the supplements,do the inner work, but no one
teaches you how to actuallyintegrate it.
All this show is for you ifyou're ready to rethink healing.

(04:50):
It's not about being perfect, being a wellness influencer or
having a PhD in biohacking.
It's about undoing, unlearning, and finally coming home to
yourself.
Quick disclaimer, this podcastis for educational purposes
only.
It's here to expand your mind, challenge old narratives, and
empower you with knowledge.

(05:11):
It's not a replacement formedical advice.
Always consult a professionalwhen making health decisions.
If this episode hits home, follow the rate it, review it,
share it with someone who needsto hear it, because you never
know whose life you mightchange.
Now let's fucking go.
I can't tell you how many womenhave come to me saying, Lauren,

(05:34):
I've done the gut protocols.
I've done therapy.
I've done breath work, I've donethe diets.
So why the hell do I still feelstuck?
And my response is alwaysbecause no one's ever taught you
how to speak the language ofyour body.
See modern healing has become achecklist.
Cut gluten, take magnesium, doyour cold plunge.

(05:57):
Find a breath book teacher.
Maybe some reiki.
Maybe it's this, maybe it'sthat.
But healing isn't about fixingparts of you that are broken.
It's about decoding the signalsyour body has been sending you
all along.
See, your symptoms aren'trandom.
They're not your fault, andthey're definitely not some
cosmic punishment for notmeditating hard enough.

(06:21):
Their adaptations, biological,emotional and energetic
strategies your body created tosurvive.
Your body is doing exactly whatit's been programmed to do.
We've just been treatingsymptoms instead of addressing
the root.
The traditional healthcare modeltaught us to see symptoms as

(06:44):
enemies.
Think about it.
If you're bloated, they say, take a laxative, maybe.
Take this medication.
If you're anxious, pop a pill.
If you're exhausted, caffeineand hustle culture, diabetic,
well, obviously you needmedication and insulin.
amphetamines, right?
There's a solution, there's pillfor every ill.

(07:05):
we cover it up, we bandaid it,we get rid of the symptom, but
we actually don't look.
What's going on underneath it.
So if we have a headache, wetake a pain reliever, but that's
not actually addressing thepain.
If we have a UTI, we take themedication that causes our P two

(07:25):
B yellow, that doesn't actuallyget rid of the UTI.
It just relieves the pain.
But underneath all of that, there's still a infection going
on.
Correct.
So here's the truth, the bloat, the anxiety that fatigue, the
deeper, more nuanced symptoms,it's not just a problem.
They are a message.

(07:46):
And when we only treat thesurface, we miss the deeper
wisdom underneath.
So you can cut out the sugar, you can balance your macros, and
you can still feel like shitbecause the issue isn't always
physical.
It might be emotional, it mightbe mental or spiritual.
And that's why in my work, wedon't just address symptoms.

(08:07):
We look at the system, and bysystem I mean all four layers of
your human experience.
So your physical body is wherethe symptoms manifest.
Your emotional body is wheretrauma, feelings, and your
nervous system responses live.
Your mental body is where yourbeliefs, your identities, and
your self-perceptions operate.

(08:29):
And your spiritual body is whereyour soul, your intuition, and
your life force resides.
In quantum medicine, there's aconcept called downward
causation, also known as thedescent of consciousness.
And it's the idea thatconsciousness creates matter,
meaning your energy, beliefs andemotional experiences trickle

(08:50):
down into your biology.
In a side note, I have a fiveday live recorded event called
Body Love Blueprint on thisentire concept and topic if you
wanna learn more, but justremember it's not just Mind Over
Matter, it's mind into matter.
So here's how it plays out.

(09:12):
A wound begins in your spiritualor mental body.
Something like, let's say I'mnot safe to rest, or I have to
be perfect to be loved.
That belief creates emotionaltension.
You might not even realize it'sthere, but it shows up as
pressure, anxiety, resentment,or fear that emotional charge
floods your nervous system andyour body doesn't feel safe.

(09:34):
So what does it do?
Well, it adapts.
It goes into sympatheticoverdrive.
Cortisol spikes, digestion, slows down hormones, tank, and
now the belief has become asymptom.
Fatigue, bloating, anxiety,insomnia, cravings, hormonal
chaos.
Let me paint the picture for youa real life story of a client

(09:57):
that I had.
We're gonna call her Sarah, justfor privacy sake.
She came to me with chronicconstipation, insomnia, weight
loss resistance, and relentlessperfectionism.
On the outside, she was crushinglife, high level career,
tracking her macros, doing yoga, taking the adaptogens like it

(10:19):
was her day job.
But her body was stuck, right?
She was still bloated.
She was backed up bracing.
On the surface, you would thinkthat it was just a gut issues.
And physically.
Sure.
Her digestion was shut down, hercircadian rhythm was off.
Her stomach acid was low, andshe had major microbiome
imbalances.

(10:40):
But here's the piece.
Most protocols miss her bodywasn't broken.
It wasn't just a lack ofmagnesium or sun or stress
management, it was bracing.
So When we got into the deeperwork, leveraging the Multim
modalities that I provide, whenworking intimately with my
clients, we uncovered a corebelief that said if I slow down

(11:06):
or mess up, I'll be rejected.
Now that belief had turned intoan emotional pattern of
overperforming andself-rejection, so it led to her
body always being in constantsympathetic activation, which
just means she was in survivalmode.
Her body was constantly bracingand constantly in self-judgment,

(11:27):
and stressed out that herdigestion couldn't let go
because she couldn't let go.
She was bracing.
And so yes, we addressed herphysical terrain.
We rebuilt her stomach acid, werepaired her gut lining, and we
restored mineral deficienciesand realigned her circadian
rhythm because the constantsurvival and sympathetic

(11:49):
activation led to thoseimbalances.
So we had to address the biologyfirst.
But it wasn't until we actuallyadded in the somatic and
energetic healing, unwindingthose stored emotional patterns,
bringing safety into her nervoussystem and helping her release
the belief that stillness equalsdanger, that her body could

(12:10):
finally receive the nourishment.
'cause she had already starteddoing a lot of that work, but it
wasn't actually being received.
It was being wasted.
It was being turning into reallyexpensive supplements, being
pissed out essentially.
So we had to actually go backand finish the emotional charge
that got clogged up back whenthat belief was created to allow

(12:33):
her body to finally go intohomeostasis.
And that's key.
You can do all the rightphysical things, but if your
body is still running on theblueprint of fear, it won't let
it land.
And vice versa.
You can do all the somatic, energetic, and emotional release
work, but if you're notaddressing the biological
imbalances that came from thedysregulation of the body, it's

(12:57):
going to stay in survival.
So it's a both and not one orthe other.
And listen, Sarah's story isn'tunique if you're listening to
this right now, thinking, wait, that kind of sounds like me.
It's not because this isn't,it's a common thread.
I see it in nearly every woman Iwork with.

(13:19):
They're just different flavors.
Whether you're in burnout, bingecycles, people pleasing,
emotional numbness, anxiety, gutissues, or just flat out
exhaustion, it's not a willpowerissue.
It's not that you're doing itwrong, it's that your body is
running on survival mode.
And when your system isn't wiredfor survival, everything gets

(13:41):
rerouted.
Your hormones, your digestion, your sleep, your ability to feel
and receive.
Why?
Well, because your nervoussystem doesn't give a damn about
your green smoothie.
I've said this before, if justthinks you're in danger, so does
not care how expensive it wasand how much protein it has in
it, or the collagen that youbought last week.

(14:04):
What's really happening is thatchronic stress activates your
HPA access, the system thatgoverns your stress hormones,
and that system floods your bodywith cortisol and that cortisol
steals from your sex hormones.
It shuts down digestion.
It messes with your blood sugar, and it wires your brain to focus
on survival, not connection, notintuition, and not regulation.

(14:28):
And your body will stay in thatloop because to your physiology,
survival actually equalsthriving.
So it confuses actual thrivingand homeostasis with a threat
and survival feels like home.
So this is why not only do wemaybe have symptoms, but we also

(14:50):
may be attracted to red flagsbecause this blueprint and this
understanding of survival modedoes not just play out in our
physical health.
It plays out in our loverelationships and our
relationship to food and ourbusiness.
We'll see the same patternsimprinted every single place of
our life, and that's why I lovethis work because I love finding
patterns.

(15:11):
So this is why your symptomshaven't budged, because your
body is still doing its job.
So if you're stuck in anxiety,it's because your system learned
that vigilance equals safety.
If you're stuck in bloating orconstipation, it's because your
system doesn't feel safe enoughto digest and release or let go.
Side note, listen to the episodeand let that shit go.

(15:31):
If you do struggle withconstipation and bloating,
because I go deeper into theemotional and nervous system
root of what's going on.
If you're stuck in burnout, it'sbecause your body's been pushing
through for so long that itdoesn't know how to power down
without bracing for collapse.
Now, here's the really wildpart.
Most of the women that I workwith say the same thing to me.

(15:54):
But I don't really feel thatstressed.
And this was me by the way.
I was like, I don't really feelthat stress.
I don't know, like I'm prettygood.
I meditate, I do breath work, Itake adaptogens, right?
I do all these things.
I eat well, so I get it.
'cause when survival mode hasbeen your baseline for decades,

(16:15):
when you live your whole life inhustle, high achieving people
pleasing energy.
Stress doesn't feel like panic.
It doesn't feel like breakdown.
It just feels like normal, likejust how life is.
But being biologically insurvival mode doesn't always
look like crying in your car orsnapping at your partner.

(16:38):
In fact, most of the time itlooks functional.
It looks like the woman who getsshit done.
So if you're listening to thisthinking, well, just not that
stress, Lauren.
But I'll keep listening.
Let me walk you through what itmight actually look like.
So survival mode can sound likea brain that never shuts off

(17:01):
racing thoughts at 11:00 PMconstant overthinking.
The inability to make a simpledecision without spiraling into
worst case scenarios.
That all or nothing mindsetwhere you're either on or you're
failing.
It can feel like needing to beproductive every damn second
because rest, feels unsafe orlazy or like you're falling

(17:23):
behind.
Even when you're ahead, it canfeel emotional, but not in the
way that you think.
So it's not always sobbing onthe fetal position, or sometimes
it's just nothing like numbingout with food.
Work scrolling.
Even spiritual self-helpcontent.
Sometimes it's snapping oversomething small or shutting down

(17:44):
completely.
It's being terrified todisappoint people.
It's not being able to cry orcrying for no reason and not
knowing where it's coming from.
It's being so disconnected fromjoy that you can't remember the
last time you felt present, likefully in your body.
And energetically you feelwired, but tired, exhausted, but

(18:06):
you can't stop moving.
Sitting still feels unbearable.
Silence feels like a threat.
There's this constant low gradeurgency humming under the
surface, like something bad isabout to happen, but you can't
name what.
And then your body startsscreaming, right?
Your gut's all over the place.
Bloating, constipation.
Maybe you have reflux diarrhea.

(18:28):
Maybe your period goes missing,or your PMS makes you feel like
a different person.
You're so tired.
Even after eight hours of sleep, you feel like you're dragging
through wet cement, you'recraving sugar, carbs, caffeine,
anything to stay afloat.
Your muscles are tight, right?
Maybe you struggle with jawclenching, shoulders locking
neck pain, back pain, TMJ, earringing, eye floaters, shortness

(18:52):
of breath, like your body'swhispering.
I can't keep holding onto this,so no, you might not feel
stressed, but your body, she'sholding the receipts and she's
been trying to tell you thatthis is not sustainable, but
were just like, this is normal.
So, let's pause for a second.

(19:14):
Let's actually feel thedifference between survival mode
and healing mode.
If you're somewhere You canclose your eyes, go ahead and if
not, just gently bring yourawareness inward.
Take a breath.
Not a perfect one, just the kindyour body already is asking for.

(19:36):
Breathe in through your nose, down into your belly, and hold
it for a second and just let itall out.
Maybe dropping your shouldersfrom your ears, releasing your
jaw, and I just want you toimagine your body like a bucket.

(19:59):
And every moment of stress, bigor small, gets poured in.
It starts filling up and itbecomes like a clogged city.
The drainage pathways start tofill up and it gets more toxic.
And toxic the more that we'repouring in.
So that breakup, it's anothercup pouring in that job you

(20:22):
hate, but feel trapped inanother pour every day, every
moment, skipping meals, runningon coffee, pleasing everyone,
ignoring your body more and moreand more.
Now, picture that bucket heavy, sloshing, overflowing.

(20:42):
You start to feel it in yourgut.
Bloating, cramping,constipation.
You feel it in your chest, tight, shallow, buzzing.
You feel it in your sleep, yourcravings, your weights, your
cycles, your skin, and yetyou're still going.
You tell yourself I'm fine.

(21:04):
I just need to push through.
Yeah, baby girl.
That's survival mode.
That's not a mindset, that's notjust a feeling.
It is a physiological patternthat your nervous system,
hormones and energy field aretrapped in.
But now let's shift.

(21:25):
Take another breath, and thistime imagine what it would feel
like if your body actuallybelieved I'm safe.
I am fed.
I am supported.
It is safe to receive.
What other people think of me isnone of my fucking business.

(21:47):
I am my own validation.
I am love.
Success is my birthright.
Bliss is my birthright.
Loving my goddamn body is mymotherfucking birthright.

(22:11):
Your jaw softens your gutuntwist.
Your breath deepens.
Your heart slows, but deepenswith every pump.
Your heart connects to yourbrain, your gut, your body feels
fluid.
Confident, empowered yourshoulders ungrace.

(22:34):
You stand taller.
You feel relaxed.
'cause you know that you're notin control, but you trust in the
universe.
You trust in everything'shappening for your highest good.
You are no longer scanning forthe room for danger.
You're scanning your life forthe possibility, for the

(22:57):
potential.
Now, that's creation mode.
When you're in your creativity, your sensuality, you can feel
your body.
You trust your body.
You feed your body.
You know your body.
You know that you can't trusteveryone, but you can trust
yourself to make the rightdecision.
That's where a true healinghappens.
It's not in fear, not incontrol, not in a dressed up

(23:21):
form of control likeperfectionism or manipulation,
but in safety, this is whereyour body can finally absorb the
nutrients, regulate hormones,repair tissues, process,
emotion, and receive what you'vebeen working so hard to give it.

(23:43):
And here's the truth, thatchanged everything for me.
Health is energy in motion.
So if your energy is stuckemotionally, mentally,
spiritually, or physically, yourbody will show you.
Those symptoms are not random.
They are signs that your energysystem is backed up, burdened or

(24:04):
blocked.
We see this a lot inrelationship when they're not
right for us.
We may have mold, parasites, heavy metals, but the reason why
we are susceptible to thosethings is because the terrain,
right?
Whether we've had trauma,unspoken resentment, we're
overgiving, perfectionism, itall goes into the same bucket,

(24:26):
weakening the terrain to besusceptible to certain toxins.
And when we have.
An unhealthy environment, let'ssay an unhealthy relationship
that we're in, or a job thatwe're in constantly day in and
day out, our body becomessusceptible to disease or
discomfort.

(24:47):
The absence of ease, dis-ease,right?
So we'll see.
A lot of times as women willlose our period, our pH will get
off balance.
We will gain weight'cause ourbody's protecting us, right?
Our metabolism slows down.
We feel anxious.
We can't sleep properly.
Our body speaks, it knows.

(25:08):
It tells us when we're not in ahealthy situation, we have to
learn the language of the body.
It's not here to hurt us.
It's not here to ruin our lives.
Even though we feel like wewanna fit in those pants and the
fact that we can't, and oh Godhates us, that's not the case.
The body is speaking to us.
We just need to learn thelanguage.

(25:29):
This is why no amount of kale orcardio will fix what's happening
if your energy isn't flowing.
So it's learning.
Where, what system?
The physical, the mental, theemotional, the energetic, the
spiritual.
What system is blocked rightnow?
Where have you been focusing toomuch on and not enough on?

(25:52):
Right, because when your energystays stuck long enough, it
doesn't just show up as asymptom.
It starts to shape your entireidentity.
It influences the way that youthink, the way that you relate,
the way that you abandonyourself over and over again
just to feel safe.
And that's the deeper cost ofsurvival mode.
It doesn't just affect how youfeel.

(26:14):
It reshapes how you believe youhave to be in order to belong,
succeed, or stay safe.
But no one told us that youdidn't choose burnout, right?
You didn't choose emotionalnumbness or people pleasing your
body, chose it for you as abrilliant adaptive response to
keep you alive.

(26:35):
In my job.
Well, my job is to help youdissolve the shame, the guilt,
the judgment you've placed onthe very parts of you that made
it possible to survive.
See that shame and that judgmentand that guilt actually keeps
you in survival mode.
But once you understand that theshadows were born outta

(26:56):
protection, and every shadowcontains a gift.
And that shadow is actuallyprotecting the gift.
It's guarding it.
So every coping mechanism, everypattern, every flaw you've
carried, it holds immensewisdom.
And when we learn to meet it,not fix it, but honor it, we

(27:17):
unlock the party you that's beenburied beneath survival, your
wholeness.
And that's exactly what led meto develop the archetypes.
See, after years of working withwomen, high functioning,
self-aware, doing all the thingswomen, I started to see the same

(27:39):
deeper patterns showing up againand again.
It was predictable.
And then I started to look intothe science and I started to see
these patterns.
They weren't just in healthsymptoms, but they were in the
way that they moved throughtheir life and the stories they
told themselves and the way thatthey overrode their bodies and

(28:00):
called it discipline and theways that they overgive and
called it love, and the waysthat they numbed and called it
control.
These patterns weren't justrandom.
They were survival strategiesrooted in stressed, shaped by
trauma, and reinforced by aworld that rewards
disconnection.

(28:21):
And because these women were soused to performing wellness,
checking every box, doing everyprotocol, they couldn't see that
the very identity driving theirhealing was the same one,
keeping them stuck.
And that's when it hit me.
They didn't need moreinformation.
They needed a mirror, a way tofinally see how their nervous

(28:42):
system had been calling theshots.
A way to connect the dotsbetween their symptoms, their
behaviors, and their unprocessedemotional blueprints.
and that's what these archetypesdo.
They reveal the specific waysyour body has adapted to
long-term stress, how yourbiology, your beliefs, and your

(29:04):
behaviors have been workingtogether to protect you.
But now you are safe enough tochoose something else.
Now before I introduce thearchetypes I want to bring you
behind the scenes of like howthey came to life, because I
didn't pull these patterns outof thin air.

(29:24):
I didn't meditate on a mountainand download a five part
framework, right?
These archetypes were born fromobservation, hundreds of hours,
sitting with clients, mappingtheir symptoms, hearing their
stories, watching how the samestruggles kept, showing up in
different forms, differentsymptoms, different backgrounds,
but always the same deeperthreads.

(29:44):
And when I zoomed out, I saw thecommon denominator across every
single one of them.
Chronic stress, but morespecifically, it was chronic
activation of the HPA access andthe sympathetic nervous system.
Your body's fight or flightstress circuitry across all five
archetypes and all the subarchetypes underneath them.

(30:05):
I saw how unresolved emotions.
Self abandonment and nervoussystem overload.
Were keeping the body in aconstant state of defense, and
when you stay in that state longenough, it starts to reshape
everything.
We spoke about this earlier, butjust to give you a little recap,
your hormones flooded withcortisol, deplete of

(30:26):
progesterone, estrogen, andtestosterone.
Your gut shuts down.
It feels bloated, inflamed, andunable to absorb the nutrients.
You're working so hard to giveit.
Your brain stays stuck in theamygdala overdrive, where
everything feels urgent, unsafe, and impossible to regulate.
So when women came to me saying,I'm bloated, I'm exhausted.
I can't sleep.

(30:46):
I have no libido, and also said,I can't stop overworking.
I shut down in relationships.
I don't feel safe resting orreceiving.
I realized these weren'tseparate issues.
They were all adaptations linkedthrough a single psychological
and emotional loop.
And that loop was survival.

(31:07):
And that's what led me to createthe archetypes because beneath
every symptom was a story.
And beneath every story was anervous system that had learned
very early on what it had to doin order to feel safe.
So now let me introduce you tothose stories.
The five survival basedarchetypes that I believe every
woman will recognize herself inat least a little.

(31:28):
And if one hits a little tooclose to home, that's not shame,
that's recognition.
That's your body saying, yes, this is me and I'm ready to
finally shift.
So in this series, I'm going towalk you through each of the
five core archetypes that I'veseen over and over again with my
clients.

(31:50):
This isn't a pop psychology or apersonality trend.
This isn't like a Buzzfeed quizthat you take once and never
look at again.
These are nervous systemblueprints shaped by survival
and written into your cells.
So what I'm gonna do today isgive you a brief overview of the
five core survival archetypesthen over the next couple of

(32:13):
weeks, I will be diving deepinto each archetype so that you
can not only learn more of wherethe origins of this come from,
the nervous system blueprint, the biology of it, the
neuroscience, and how itinternally and externally is
expressed in your life, but alsohow you can begin embodying the

(32:35):
gift of how to shift out ofthis, how to address your
physical, mental, energetic, andspiritual bodies.
So let's dive into the five corearchetypes.
So for a quick little preview ofwhat's coming, the burnout
archetype is for the woman who'salways doing, always proving,

(32:57):
always pushing, and still feelslike it's never enough.
The self sacrificer is the womanwho gives until she's empty.
She's deeply nurturing toeveryone but herself who
confuses love withoverextension.
The emotionally disconnected isfor the one who doesn't feel
much anymore, who's highfunctioning on the outside, but

(33:19):
shut down, numb, or dissociatedinside the stress Dysregulated
archetype is the woman who's.
Body is always an overdrive, panic, pain, perfectionism.
She might be doing all the rightthings, but her system never
actually turns off.
And the body image and identityarchetype is for the woman whose

(33:40):
worth has been tied to how shelooks, what she eats, and
whether or not she feels incontrol.
And we go a little bit deeperbecause each of these archetypes
connect directly to the way thatwe relate to food or our bodies
and our emotional power.
So for every nervous systempattern, there's a shadow
archetype that shows up at thetable, whether it's restriction

(34:02):
or binging, or obsession oravoidance, control or collapse.
Your relationship to food is amirror for your relationship to
yourself.
So as I walk you through eachcore archetype, I'll also show
you how it connects the food andbody shadows I see in my work,
like the Punisher, the Starver, the numb nibbler, the mirror
eater, the Craver, the binger.

(34:25):
And you may recognize these frommy recent workshop, pleasure
Power in the Plate where we doveinto the origin of each
archetype.
These patterns aren't just aboutfood.
They are unprocessed emotion, nervous system dysregulation,
and identity stuck in survival.
And in this series, we're gonnapull back the current on all of
it so you can stop blamingyourself for the ways that your

(34:48):
body tried to cope and startreclaiming your energy, your
voice, and your wholeness fromthe inside out.
Because the version of you thatlearned how to survive, she got
you here.
But the version of you that'sready to feel nourished, rest,
expand, and receive well, she'sleading the way forward.

(35:08):
So if this episode hit home, ifyou found yourself nodding
along, maybe even tearing up, Iwant you to know that this is
just the beginning.
You're not here because you'rebroken.
You're here because your body'swise enough to get your
attention and your soul whileshe's ready for deeper work.
And for some reason, my voice isthe one that you feel connected
with, and that's okay.

(35:30):
So in this series, we're gonnadecode the patterns your body
has been living out for yearswithout shame, without
bypassing, and withoutpretending that healing is just
about another protocol.
We're not gonna be connecting itall.
And if you're anything like me,this is gonna be relieving
because I know all of thisinformation, because I needed to

(35:51):
find this out for myself.
So here I am who've done all thework, gathered all the
information from every singlelayer, and I'm bringing it to
you for free.
and if you're ready to stopperforming.
and start embodying it, thendon't miss the next episode
where I'll be diving into thefirst archetype, the burnout
archetype.

(36:13):
She's exhausted, but she can'tstop proving herself.
She's productive, praised, andcompletely disconnected from her
body.
And the cost is well, herhealth, her joy, her ability to
receive.
And if you wanna take this workeven deeper right now I created
something that will change theway you relate to food power and
your body forever.

(36:34):
Pleasure.
Power in the plate is mysignature workshop that guides
you through six food and bodyshadow archetypes, and I
mentioned in this episode weexplain how each pattern was
born from emotional suppression, nervous system adaptation, and
deep unmet needs, and how tofinally meet them with
compassion, nourishment, andpower.

(36:54):
This workshop isn't aboutanother food plan, it's actually
a portal back to your truth.
