Francesco Travascio, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the University of Miami, where he also serves as the director of the Musculoskeletal Biomechanics Lab. He leads research efforts at the Max Biedermann Institute for Biomechanics at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach. Dr. Travascio's expertise lies in orthopaedics, sports medicine, and biomechanics, and he actively competes as a Masters Olympic weightlifting athlete.
