This week’s Sunday Coffee Chat is a heartfelt conversation about peace beyond understanding and what it really looks like to live it out. I’m reaching back to the version of myself from 2016, the year everything shifted, and sharing how I learned to stop trying to figure everything out and let peace meet me where I was. We talk about what happens when you release your need to control, the freedom that comes with surrender, and how practicing non attachment can help you trust the unfolding even when life doesn’t make sense. I also share how many of us, especially as Black women, have been conditioned to live in our heads and intellectualize our healing because it feels safer than feeling. This episode is an invitation to come back to yourself, to stop searching for understanding, and to experience the kind of peace Philippians 4:7 describes; the peace of God that surpasses all understanding and guards your heart and your mind.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
