Hey everyone, welcome back toanother episode of Heal Yourself
Podcast.
You got Kara and Denise today, and I'm actually going to kick
(01:01):
this off with a quote, so Ishared this on Facebook and
Instagram today.
We can get into where it camefrom, but we'll just start with
this.
So my quote was where we placeour awareness and attention,
shapes our physiology, relationships and the collective
frequency.
Okay, so let that simmer for aminute.
(01:22):
Okay, so let that simmer for aminute.
Um, let's repeat that again.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
Let's repeat that
again to help, because you know
how, when you're driving, youwant to listen to it again yeah
you're like what did?
Speaker 2 (01:30):
she say yeah, so
let's do it again where we place
our awareness and attentionshapes our physiology,
relationships and the collectivefrequency.
So, den Denise, I'm going tototally put you on the spot.
When you hear that, what do youthink?
Speaker 1 (01:54):
That we are powerful
beings and we're placing our
attention and awareness in thewrong areas.
If I look at the world rightnow, this is such a powerful
quote because it I don't know.
To me it just definitely showyour power that we definitely
(02:18):
are giving away.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
I think okay, and so
let me share where this comes
from.
So, for those that don't know,I'm in Texas.
A lot of the floods were rightdown the road from us, not the
one at Camp Mystic, but, likeGeorgetown, marble Falls were
right there, places that wefrequent and it's been
(02:43):
absolutely devastating.
But what I've seen on socialmedia, which we already know is
toxic, are people going on andon and on about weather
modification, which is fine, right, I don't care what you
believe or what you don'tbelieve.
I love to classify myself as aconspiracy theorist and I even
(03:05):
prefaced with that on socialmedia, but for me it's not about
that, by me taking theattention away from the victims.
Now, granted, I'm not going tosit and just think about all the
devastation that happenedforever, because then my
attention's on that.
But just people going on and onand on about.
You can't be complacent, youcan't ignore the weather
(03:27):
modification.
They're doing this One.
How do we know that?
We don't right.
We know that there's cloudseeding happening.
They're owning up to it,finally, but do we know that
it's just them modifying weather?
How do we know it's not Godwho's saying like, please stop
messing with me, please stopmessing with nature.
We don't know to what extentthat's happening.
(03:49):
And, at the same time, if I goback to the whole idea of where
we place our attention, that'swhere our energy goes.
Why am I going to sit and putmy attention on something that's
so negative?
We can change things with thepower of our mind.
Not by saying, well, thesepeople, the government.
Not by saying, well, thesepeople, the government, whoever
they is, they're doing horriblethings.
Okay, and how are you going tochange that?
(04:09):
Because they're not going tosee my post on social media and
be like oh crap, I shouldn't dothat anymore.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
This is really bad,
Are you sure?
Are you sure about that?
You don't know.
That's true, Kira?
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Let me write a letter
to my Senator and see what
changes.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Let me write a letter
to my senator and see what
changes I mean.
Listen, at the end of the daywe are, we all have minds and we
all have thoughts and we allhave stories right, and I, like
I know I love how you say likewe don't even know that's true.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
We really don't you
know what I mean.
We don't.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
And then sometimes
people like really take
something and they just go alongwith it as the ultimate truth
and it just could be aperspective Like someone's
perspective is not truth, right?
So I have been to be honestwith you and very transparent.
I have been a way I'm kind oflike living in my denial land
(05:00):
right now, and it's not because,oh, I'm just not the island
right now and it's not because,oh, I'm just not um, I pray, of
course, for everyone affectedand everything um, and I
definitely feel the pain, but Ijust am placing my attention on
my priorities right now.
You know what I mean like, yes, this affects the collective
(05:22):
awareness and everything, butthen with me sitting down and
then like dwelling on, oh, who'sdoing this, who's responsible
in this?
I'm not helping anybody.
You know what I mean.
But when I am in my home and inmy you know environment,
focusing on the things thatmatter to me, I'm also adding to
(05:44):
the collective awareness, likespiritually.
You know what I mean.
Like also adding awareness.
Yeah, you know, like it's notlike the Lululand or denial,
cause I mean people love to talkabout politics and things and
I'm like dude, like like peoplesometimes view these posts and
(06:04):
listen to these people as ifthey are God and they're not.
I know, you know what I mean.
And and then sometimes they letthese things affect their mood
and their families, right?
So let's say, a personlistening to the news and the
news sucks right, and then hecomes home or she comes home and
it's going to be grumpy withthe spouse, with the partner,
(06:26):
with the family.
So how is that helping thecollective awareness?
You know what I mean and Ithink, like people want to be
radical and change the world, like stop being radical and
change the freaking world, change yourself, change your
family, change your heart.
I don't know, I'm just comingfrom a different perspective.
It feels like right now I don'tknow where I was going with
this, but no, it was beautifullysaid.
(06:47):
I just feel like you just focuson yourself and on your
priorities, your values.
You know I'm reading right nowa book.
I'll go get it when you starttalking, because it's right
there, and I'll tell you thename of it.
But it's, it's the power ofyour words and that's that.
That's what you want to alsomaster.
(07:08):
You know, I've been reallyfocusing on it, but go ahead and
add to what you're what I said,so I can go grab the book.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
Well, yeah, and you,
I mean you were talking about
the collective awareness orcollective consciousness.
Everything around us, everyperson around us, impacts that,
and think about it.
That collective gets completelyhijacked when we're focused on
this whole external control.
Like you said.
External control, like you said, focus on the inner world.
(07:40):
When you focus on yourself andyou become a person who is
loving and grateful and wantsnothing but the best for
everyone around you, that ispositively changing the
collective consciousness.
The hard part about this that Isee is so many are hyper-focused
on oh my gosh, the government'sdoing this or chemtrails this
and 5G, and now it's going to be6G and AI and I'm not saying
(08:02):
any of these things are good, but who's benefiting?
When we're getting angry, whenwe're getting fearful, we are
giving our power away to thosepeople.
Now we can shift the collectiveby focusing on the love and all
of those inner things, but somany are just focused on the
external piece of well, they didthis and they did that, so now
(08:25):
we're placing blame and we'regetting into victim mentality,
which isn't shifting things.
If we're looking at thecollective, we have to look at
how is all of our energyimpacting everyone else?
And, I hate to say it if you'renot happy with the way things
are in the world, that is just areflection of all of us.
So again it goes back to if wechange the inside, we start to
(08:48):
change the collective.
Again, I'm not convinced that aletter to my Senator is going to
change.
You know, oh my gosh, now we'regoing to 6G.
We shouldn't do that.
But when we can collectivelyshift to a different place, that
stuff starts to change and Ilove.
Oh, sorry, sorry.
I was just going to quickly sayyou and I have talked about
this in other episodes and Idon't know where but the whole
(09:10):
idea of giving your power away, that is what people are doing.
Speaker 1 (09:15):
Exactly.
And I just want to add, becauseI know that you mentioned
focusing on love and you knowdefinitely love and you know
passion and gratitude, and whenyou do that because sometimes
you know people think that whenyou do this you're being in
denial you're not looking atthis.
No, no, no, on the contrary, you're remembering who you are,
my friend, right?
Because if you truly rememberwho you are, who we are you, me,
(09:37):
everyone listening we arespiritual beings having a human
experience, right?
So that's not, let's not forgetthat we are spiritual beings
and we are having this humanexperience and we're not being
in denial.
We're just remembering to goback to our source to fill out
(09:58):
the recharge.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Well, and I want to,
I want to tie this back into our
episode on emotions.
If you've not listened to that,go back.
I think it's like way back inepisode five.
At this point we will never sayjust approach everything with
love and happiness, like no.
In fact, my husband saidsomething the other day.
He was frustrated with mebecause I had five minutes of
anger and frustration and I'mlike this is a normal human
(10:22):
emotion.
I am supposed to feel anger.
We are not telling you that.
Sure, if you believe that allof these horrible things are
happening and they may be, getangry, but don't let it sit
there forever.
You have the power to thenchange those emotions.
Then you move back into loveand gratitude and other things.
So still feel all the feelingsright, the rainbow of emotions.
(10:44):
Yeah, yeah, but don't get stuckthere.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
No, no, and the book
I wanted to share, I have it.
So you know.
You know how I love MatthewKelly and the dynamic Catholic
and I am an ambassador, so I dodonate monthly, so they send me
the books.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Love it.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
These are the new
books.
I have not started reading theother one, but the Forgotten Way
.
He started sending the quotesand I'm like, oh, please send me
the book.
And they sent me the book andit is called the Forgotten Way,
the St James Master Plan.
I'm just going to read some ofthe things I highlighted.
And I'm just going to read someof the things I highlighted.
And it is all about.
Learning to control your tonguewill change your life Strength
(11:24):
and character, deepensrelationships, increases
patience, expands your capacityfor perseverance and simulate
self-awareness.
Control your tongue and you'llfind it easier to control your
temper, your spending and yourreaction.
So that's the St James MasterPlan.
So, honestly and I'm being verytransparent this is the stuff
I'm focusing on, because mymission in this life is to
constantly become the betterversion of myself, and when I am
(11:48):
dwelling over things that areout of my control, what am I
doing?
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:56):
Right.
So if you feel called like, ifsomeone like like, maybe
somebody can feel called to towrite their Senator, sure, write
the Senator, write the this, but then just send it and
surrender.
Whatever needs to happen willhappen.
It's not just like because, butpeople, what happens is they go
down the rabbit holes and whatthey do is they get on social
(12:18):
media and they find more ways toget angry.
So whenever you the post thatyou posted, like people were
just like finding ways to getangry about this, and I get it,
it's unfortunate and it is sucks.
I get it.
But instead of focusing andpaying attention on the bad
stuff that's happening, whydon't we lift it when they, when
(12:39):
they have rosary days ormeditation days, when
everybody's meditating at thesame time, everybody's saying
the rosary at the same time.
This stuff works because that'scollective awareness coming
together, because, at the end ofthe day, we are all connected,
we're all one, we come from thesame source, we are spiritual
beings having a human experience.
(12:59):
So let's go back to our roots.
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
And that's the thing.
I saw people on social mediahosting these collective
meditations, prayers, and I'mlike that's where your attention
needs to go, getting online andbeing like, oh, this event
happened in this event, and lookhow they're modifying the
weather, okay, and what are youdoing about it then?
Because all I see is anger andemotions that are they're not
(13:26):
even how do I want to word thatEmotions that have gone rogue,
essentially, you know.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
But also and it could
be, a lot of like projections.
So people commenting and goingdown, you know, rabbit holes and
stuff like that.
This is project.
This is projecting somethingthat is deep inside.
Right, like you said, get angry, get upset, like I understand
that when you, you know, yousent me a text message and you
were sad, upset, whatever, I getthat, but you did not let it
(13:53):
run your life for a week or fortwo weeks or for whatever.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
You know what I?
Speaker 1 (13:58):
mean Like you, you,
you.
You dealt with the, you feltthe emotion, feel the emotions.
But that doesn't mean that I'mgoing to dump my emotions on.
You Feel the anger, feel thefrustration.
If you want to do something byaddressing the government, do it
.
That's not me, I don't likethat.
I don't like to do that, butthat's fine.
Other people like to do it.
Great, do it at the higherlevel.
Yes, go to the.
Whatever you need to do, writethe letters.
(14:20):
But you know, typing on thecomputer ain't going to work
because, like you said, thepoliticians are not checking
your posts, honey.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
No, and that's the
other thing is they're like oh
well, you just have to wake morepeople up, okay, that happens
on their own timeline, for once.
We can't do that.
That's like trying to changeyour partner.
You know what I mean.
It doesn't work.
No, and let's say we wakeeverybody up in the world and
everybody sees how terriblegovernment is and we've got
these people above uscontrolling everything.
(14:51):
Then what?
We're just going to rise up andtake over?
That's not good energy either.
So I'm not sure where peopleare going with this let's go
back in history.
Speaker 1 (15:01):
Like, I mean, things
like that have happened in
history.
It's not like something new.
You know what I mean.
Like like it's and I'm notsaying it's not unfortunate and,
however, what are we learningfrom it?
You know, like things I alwaystell myself my kids like, when
things happen that are likereally crazy, they shake things
up.
That doesn't mean for you to goback and live the status quo
(15:24):
that you were living.
These things happen and arelike the adversities that we
talked about the other time onthe podcast episode.
I don't know which one.
They come in to shake and tochange some things, but what do
we do?
We stay complacent and go backto the comfort, whereas and we
ignore the shakeup.
It's like, wait a minute, theshakeup came and then God's like
(15:47):
dude, I sent you like fiveshakeups and you're still going
back to what?
Speaker 2 (15:50):
do you want me to do?
Send you more shakeups?
No, and that's you know what.
That is so spot on.
Because here's the thing Peoplewant to stay in that same place
.
And I was there for a while, don't get me wrong.
I was there for a while, especially over COVID.
But then I was like what ifthese things are happening?
You know, you and I always sayit, things are happening for us
(16:13):
Doesn't mean that they're goodthings, but they're to learn
from.
What if these things arehappening all around us to learn
from, but nobody is learninganything, because they're going
back to placing blame Exactly.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
And you said it.
I remember we said it on thepodcast episode.
You really?
I think it was the last week'sone, I'm not sure.
Please come back.
I know we should have a bettersystem, kira.
Anyway, I mean, you said it.
You don't have to like thethings that's happening, however
.
However, going back to what itwas before the shake-up, what
(16:49):
are you doing?
change your perspective, look atit differently look at it
differently, say I am willing tosee things different.
Don't forget free will, man.
People forget free will.
God is not gonna come and belike I'm holding your hand right
now because you said the otherday that you want this and this
and this.
No, because this is what freewill exists and that's why it's
(17:10):
really important.
In my prayers I always say and II learned this from marianne
williamson, I did not come upwith that I always say I am
willing to see thingsdifferently.
I am willing because, remember,we don't.
We have tunnel vision.
Okay, yes, I know we'respiritual beings, but we forgot
who we are.
So we have tunnel vision.
We don't.
We don't see the whole masterplan, the whole vision.
(17:33):
Right, so don't like the fact, don't like the situation or
whatever, but don't continuewith the blaming and the
victimization, because what arethose doing?
They're taking your power away.
You're giving your power awayand you're stuck in that feeling
and you're blaming others andyou're going in the loop and now
you've lost your inner peace.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
And exactly my thing
is what if the greatest power we
had towards these evil whateverI don't even know what I'm
calling them, but truly what ifthe greatest power we had was
that inner peace and you letpeople steal it all the time.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
Absolutely, I believe
.
I mean, our soul's evolution isto become the better version of
yourself.
And how do you become a betterversion of yourself?
By changing perspective, bythinking differently, by
speaking differently, bysurrounding yourself with other
(18:31):
people, by growing, by changingyour environment.
So I think this is the true aimof us as souls and as beings to
continuously and remember.
Progress is not linear, I getthat, but comparing your now to
yesterday and to the before andto the before, and continuously
(18:52):
moving toward being the betterversion of yourself.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Yeah.
So final thought for me what ifwe could shift the
consciousness by shifting ourattention?
Right, and I think that's howwe do it.
We shift our attention onfinding the inner peace, on the
love, on the gratitude, all thethings, not by arguing over
conspiracies and stupid shit.
Right, even if you completelythink they're true, and I'm
(19:17):
probably with you on a bunch ofthem.
But that is not how we changethe collective.
And so you know, denise and Ilike questions.
I've got two that I'm going tothrow in here.
Okay, ask yourself where is myenergy going on a daily basis
and what am I feeding with myattention?
Speaker 1 (19:36):
that's it.
I do want to add somethingabout that.
Oh here, why don't you say thequestions again?
Speaker 2 (19:42):
because people
driving oh yeah, my well, don't
drive and journal people, butokay, no, no, don't do that no,
but you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Like sometimes you
want to ponder while you're okay
.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
So where is my energy
going on a daily basis?
You could even say who am Igiving my attention to and what
am I feeding with my attention?
Speaker 1 (20:06):
Yes, and I do want to
add that, because sometimes
people like, oh, coming fromlove and compassion and
forgiveness, it's like, oh, I'mignoring everything You're going
to like, you're going to, youknow you're going to beat me up
and I'm going to look at you andbe like, oh, I love you.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
I love you so much.
Speaker 1 (20:22):
No, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, Right.
So if you, if there's somebodyin your life that's like really
fucked up and you don't want toforgive them, you have all the
right not to it's, it's, I haveto keep reiterating, becoming
the better version of yourself.
And becoming the better versionof yourself is thinking
differently is, uh, you know, saying things differently,
approaching things differently,uh, seeing things differently,
approaching things differently,seeing things differently,
whatever, right?
(20:43):
So, and that is the aim, andthe aim is not to be the doormat
, right.
The aim is not like oh, bringeverything onto me, I have
everything.
No, the aim is always to fillyour cup right, because this is
how you change the collectiveawareness by being the better
version of yourself, by focusingon that.
And another thing I want to addstop giving your energy away and
(21:03):
think about one thing.
And I read this quote a whileback and I keep reminding myself
if I use the energy that I'mputting on you and on the
weather, and on the governmentand on politics toward me, guess
what?
I'll become the better versionof myself tomorrow.
But what am I doing?
I'm just leaking and leakingand leaking, and leaking and
(21:24):
leaking.
So no more leaking.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Yeah, Don't leak the
water cover the hose right.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
Didn't we learn that
analogy the hose and the thing,
the the, the hose, the holes inthe hose or the holes in the
bucket, same thing, right?
Speaker 2 (21:39):
You can keep filling
the bucket, but if you don't fix
the holes, it's going to keepon pouring out, and that is the
problem right now, exactly, andwhen you focus on you, it's not
like you're ignoring others.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
You're not.
On the contrary, you are, because when you change you, you
change one person in yourfamily and then that person
changes another one and theripple effect happens, happens
and yeah.
So we just want to leave youwith that, to come to also
remember who you are.
You are a spiritual beinghaving a human experience, so
don't dwell too much on thathuman experience.
(22:09):
Man yeah, it's just a smallpiece of it it is a small piece,
and you're not just your body.
You are more than that.
You're not just your thoughts.
You're more than that.
You're not just your words.
You are more than that.
So believe're not just yourthoughts, you're more than that.
You're not just your words, youare more than that.
So believe it.
Take that power away.
And we're telling you thisbecause we tell each, we tell
ourselves this every single daybecause, guess what, you and I
(22:31):
still leak our energy away.
We're doing a much better job,absolutely.
But.
But we're human.
We're human, exactly Humanexperience.
Sometimes it bites you in theass and it's like, okay, you bit
me right now, but guess what?
I am going to do it differently.
And this is how we start.
You know, unlearning patterns, and that's what it is.
(22:52):
It's unlearning, and I keeprepeating it.
It's remembering who you are.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
And you are more than
the weather.
You're more than the weather, you're more than the politicians
.
You are more than the money.
You are more than the computer, the materials.
You're more than your children.
You are more than the bodywhatever.
You are more than the Botox, the fillers.
Seriously, like someone needsto remind us that we are way
more than that we can create.
(23:22):
We are co-creators.
When we decide to truly put ourattention on our spirituality,
on who we are as spiritualbeings, the sky's the limit,
even more.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Yeah, and that's the
thing.
That's how we shift things.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Okay, guys, well, give usfeedback.
I'm also going to say we have acouple reviews.
We would love reviews.
So please, please, please, ifyou've been listening, go leave
us a review.
You can just leave stars, youcan leave comments.
We appreciate it.
We love the comments we do lovecomments more than just stars,
(23:58):
but you know because we alsowant to learn.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
We also want to learn
and see what to change and what
to keep doing more of you know.
So that's why your feedback isreally, really, really important
to us, because we do take it.
Um, I mean, we don't take itpersonally, obviously, you can
say whatever you want, but wejust definitely want the
feedback because we want tocontinuously help you, you know,
(24:22):
heal yourself and become thebetter version of yourself and
ourselves.
Speaker 2 (24:26):
Yeah, yeah, thank you
, and you can always message us
on Instagram.
We listen, we read everything.
So all right, guys, we'll seeyou on the next episode.
