Dating a cop can be different. My client’s friends were telling her she wasn’t seeing him enough. She was questioning things and getting all up in her head. Sure, she didn’t see him as much as other people saw their boyfriends because he worked a ton of overtime, but he was there for her, loving, and kind when they were together. Through group coaching in my Resilient Ride Along program, she was able to use my Assertive Trauma Informed Communication method to ask for her desire to move in with her boyfriend and he met her in his excitement to do the same. Now, they’re looking for homes together.
