In the first episode of It’s a Guy Thing, we go beneath the surface to explore The Root— the internal foundation of who we are and how it shapes the way we move through the world.

This episode unpacks how our upbringing, environment, and experiences within the household can leave lasting effects on how men see themselves, love others, communicate, and respond to pain. From broken homes to emotional wounds, we discuss the collateral damage that can influence the way men treat themselves, women, and other men.

The Root is an honest conversation about awareness, accountability, healing, and understanding where certain behaviors begin — because before growth can happen, we have to be willing to look at the root.
