And when you are going to anup-level, it doesn't always look
pretty.
Sometimes it feels messy,emotional and, yes, very, very
tiring.
Midlife Butterfly a woman inthe sacred in-between.
She's not who she once was andnot quite who she's becoming yet

She's navigating lifetransitions divorce, loss,
reinvasion, moves with a burningdesire for freedom, joy and

She's no longer afraid of herown wings.

Welcome back to the MidlifeButterfly podcast.
This is Ken Asu, your host, andtoday I want to share five
signs that you are up leveling.
At least are the ones that I'mgoing through at this very
moment, and chances are thatprobably you are feeling
something similar to me and, atthe same time, thinking that

(01:06):
something is off in your body,in your emotions or in your mind
.
It might actually mean that youare just right on track.
So I was feeling these signs inmy whole being, and then I went
to my dear friend, chad GPetier and and said okay, this
is what I am experiencing, thishas something to do with that

(01:30):
level that I'm processing and,yes, it just helped me to
confirm that I'm going throughthis at-level process and it
just gave me some hints aboutwhat I'm going through, so I
want to share them with you,because, I mean, we're in
midlife, we're in the month ofSeptember.

(01:50):
Through this year, we've beenprocessing things and it's the
time to really like to renovate,to reinvent ourselves.
We are there.
The whole astrology is there.
I assume if you're intoastrology, you just might be
getting pieces here and thereand there.
So, yeah, so I want to sharethe five core signs that I'm

(02:13):
going through at this momentbecause of the up-leveling
process.
Up-leveling I mean going to ahigher version of myself.
We are human beings and such aswe are here to grow and evolve,
and this is one of my jams.
To you know, growth andevolution is one of the best

(02:36):
beautiful things that we arehere to do, and yeah, so I just
want to share with you tothiscoaster of things that I'm
going through at this verymoment.
So one of the signs is tirednessand exhaustion.
I don't know if you're livingthis, but at this time, holy cow

(02:57):
.
So what happened is my body isintegrating the new frequencies,
the new ways of being.
You know, it's literally like asystem I upgrade in a computer,
so the cells are very busy nowdownloading the new version of
me, the one that I've beenprocessing in the past months,

(03:19):
or probably years, years, andyeah, it's just, it needs the
pause of and the rest toactually upgrade the system at
this moment.
That's what I'm havingexhaustion and the good thing is
I have I'm taking the time todo so.

(03:41):
Like during the weekend I slepta lot.
This afternoon I took a nap.
I'm so happy and glad that I'mable to do it.
So I just went for it to honormy body because of this process
that is going.
Another sign is the increasinghunger.
I was like oh my God, why am Iso hungry?
Because it's not very usual forme to be this hungry when I'm

(04:05):
not in my mood.
I'm kind of like in the middleof it, meaning not my
menstruation.
So I was like what am I sohungry?
So what happened is that thebody is burning more energy than
normal, not just physically butenergetically.
So it's necessary for the bodyto be fed.

(04:27):
So if you're going through thishonor, it follow it, because
I'm also having a lot ofcravings, just to let you know.
Another sign of this, ofleveling, is I don't want to
study or learn.
I was like like I don't usuallywatch a lot of TV.

(04:49):
I do sometimes, so I ratherjust, you know, listen to
podcasts or watch videos orreview, like I'm taking a
certification in a kind ofbreathwork practices, and so I
love using the time, you know,to nourish myself, to learn

(05:09):
something new.
And I noticed lately it's like,yeah, no, I feel more into
movies.
So I was like, okay, I'm justgonna follow what my body feels
like doing.
And what I noticed at the sametime is that by watching movies,
it's actually helping me tomirror the situations through

(05:32):
the ones that I'm going throughand what I have that have been
in the past.
And so it's very interesting,like to watch movies and say, oh
, okay, this resonates with me,or I'm still like in here or I
am not there anymore, you know,so it's it's, it's fun to, first

(05:52):
of all, not give me the hardtime, because before I will
judge myself very harshly andsay, yeah, you're watching
movies again and you are notlearning.
You know the inner critic sobeautifully telling me to,
freaking, do somethingproductive.
Have you heard about that?
And so, yeah, honoring myselfof choosing to watch movies just

(06:19):
because I want to and I feellike it.
Another core sign that I'm upleveling is emotional roller
coaster.
Oh my god.
I mean I'm a Pisces, I'm ahyper emotional person, but
lately is like there's no reasonand I'm just like whoo.

(06:41):
You know, I'm in the top of theworld, feeling super happy, and
the next moment I'm kind ofcrying, and then I feel all
these emotions, but they arejust there.
So I allow myself just toobserve and to, of course, feel
them.
These are emotions and the bodyis here to experience these

(07:05):
emotions, and what this means isthat the inner world is
actually clearing.
You know the old density of theversion of me that it's kind of
like living.
You know of the version of methat it's kind of like living.
You know so it's clearing up soI can expand into whatever else

(07:29):
that is coming.
You know more joy, more freedom, more peace, more adventures.
I don't know what's coming, butit is welcome.
And at the same time, I realizedthis yesterday because I
suddenly just felt a lot ofemotions and I was like what is

(07:51):
this Like seriously?
And I realized that I wasprocessing self-grief.
I mean, because if I'm upleveling, it means that an old
version of me is dying, an ego,part of me is also dying.

(08:16):
So my body is actuallyprocessing that self-grieving of
these emotions, part of me thatis dying and I'm so glad that I
took the time to observe herand to notice what was happening
, because I was able to talk toher and tell her thank you.

(08:43):
Thank you because you are theone who has gotten me where I am
now.
Thank you for all your the onewho has gotten me where I am now
.
Thank you for all your courageand all your resilience and all
your devotion and all the effortand energy that you have put
into it and the freaking healingprocess that it has been super
deep.
So thank you, and it was verybeautiful just to do that, to

(09:07):
honor that part of me and givingall this love and all this
respect, you know, for bringingme where I am now.
So, yeah, see the emotionalroller coaster, roller coaster.

(09:35):
And uh, the fifth sign that I'muh, up leveling is the physical
pain in the body, like I had, uh, well, better said, the pain of
the sciatica and in my leg,neck, from that late, oh, from
my left side, came again, againand hard, like it kind of
soothed for a while and then itjust came very hard again.

(09:57):
Uh and uh.
Yeah, I know it's part of thisup leveling because, like I
don't know if you have heardthat I mean the body keeps the
record and the body is alwaystelling us what we don't want to
hear, what we don't want to putattention on it.
So my sciatica is really liketowards moving forward and I

(10:21):
know it's in my life and morespecifically with my business,
more specifically with mybusiness.
So to move forward towards thegoals that I want to achieve, it
has taken me a lot of innerwork, a lot of processes going
through and a lot of egos dyingin there, and I know that's why
the pain is there.

(10:42):
And then the neck is about thedirection you know, and then
like turning it left or rightand you know by saying no or
turning it up and down andsaying yes.
So I am being more intentionalwhere, when I'm taking decisions
, like to really feel in my bodyinto what is it if it's a hell,

(11:06):
yeah, or is, if it's definitelya hell, no.
So if you're feeling any ofthis exhaustion, hunger,
resistance to learning, emotionsall over the place or even pain
in your body, don't just change, just bring that awareness that

(11:27):
you might be.
You know that this is proofthat you are actually up
leveling, that your old self isactually dissolving because a
new version of you is actuallylanding.
So let it come through andremember that you're in a cocoon
phase.
This is why midlife butterflyyou might be in this cocoon

(11:50):
phase and it always it's intense.
It feels like a oh yeah, like afreaking roller coaster, going
up and down and being in thegooey in there, and then, when
we want to extend our wings, itjust you know we need to use a
lot of strength and courage andresilience.
So stay in there.

(12:10):
Stay in there because soon,soon, your wings will be born,
like mine.
So let's just continue to enjoythe process, even when you might
know as I am it is not easy.
Know as I am, it is not easy.

(12:32):
No, it is emotional, it's messy, it's tiring and all these
other things that I shared.
And I would like to know whatelse are you actually feeling,
