Following the devastating attack on Circad, the Runts explore the wreckage to find one more troublemaker on the Grassy Knoll, and Deimos has a fiery plan. Adjacently, Samir and Oro built a gun!

All right, you guys. Welcome back to run pack goes
playing walking. Let's get into it.
So last time we began after Doomand just wanted to drinking
contest. When the roof of the smoldering
corpse Tavern was torn off, including the rooms above it,
where, you know, some of our friends may or may not have been

(00:25):
Um, this was because a trebuchet, had launched a
boulder at the spiral of almost and completely cleared off the
top of it. So you know, battle convinced,
this is organized by my father Luce.
Apparently at higher and some mercenaries to come like, take
him back by force for chantea. so at first, there were People

(00:48):
climbing up, these chains and then eventually they started
breaking down the door of. Meanwhile the smoldering corpse
was screaming at the rain poureddown on him and then eventually
he the fire sort of was put out and he was able to Talk a bit.
Um, he was beginning to speak. Also malaga's cast hex revealing

(01:09):
the Hughes in fact, a warlock though.
If used to be believed, he's never cast a spell before.
We were greasing up, the chains shooting people off the chains,
do all sorts of shit, to try to knock these people, trying to
climb up. These chains off as the
smoldering man stopped burning. He started regenerating like
every other fire went out. He would, you know, grow hair

and skin. We kind of he has dull gray
eyes, tan skin, and dark black hair.
You can't think the small green man.
It's hot. That's so much of a corpse
anymore. Um, Oro knocked a half orc guy

(01:53):
off the building, and he apparently had this kid with him
that they were like, friends. So the Ken coo kids stayed
behind and that I sort of a yellat the king.
KU kid higher recognized, the Cancun as another servant of
ether named tick The Burning Man, Rose, he appeared like hot

(02:15):
to the touch but he was no longer on fire.
His eyes were glowing with Fury.He was sort of serving the
fight, but it didn't seem like he really was taking one side or
the other. It was just mad.
Mostly it was mad at jack knife.He looked at her with disgust
and bitterness. um, with oros encouragement, some are sort of
snapped out of his days and summoned, a metal Fox and metal

Hawk that began ravaging all theLucas's father, As they entered
the tavern in the battle higher fell, unconscious, and woke up
somewhere in a grassy field. With two sons above him.
In a sense of emotionless calmness, it's not quite his
home, but somewhere similar Aether, floated down before him

in the form of a globe of light and told her, she was very proud
that she had sent this Cancun girl soldier tick as a
challenge. She also gave hire a task to
help an enemy who wished him harm in order to become an
Athens. Good graces smear got cut by a
sword and a chunk of clay fell to the ground rather than blood

(03:24):
or feeling him as a construct, which she was very sensitive
about. We came out on top of the
battle. As the, as the last final body
fell about 16 of the 60 total had fled after some repeated but
unconvincing attempts by us to intimidate them in the leaving.

Um, but you know, we got some ofthem to flee.
Um, we left the tavern to discover that many people had
been killed in the streets of circad.
Doom heels higher and then higher healed smear.
While orifice, they'd find the bar realizing that when you kill
people here, the bodies don't disappear.

(04:06):
Um jackknife sort of days and inthe destruction of her bar, laid
down beneath the again flaming man.
As the rain stopped falling flaming man began to play him
again and float up jack knife ina day is laid Underneath Him and
sort of, I believe like Drifted her hands in front of the light,

(04:27):
I don't know. It was weird.
They have a sexual relationship.I believe.
Jack knife, said, she'd still give us the reward but higher
offered for her to keep the money, which she would need to
rebuild. Verified hangovers to fix us.

(04:47):
A bull for our room. All the only body we found was
back at us, empty dull like cloth body which I personally
believe there was something inside.
That is the true bag of the and this is just sort of Michelle
but you know not everyone else is ready to be a bag.

of us, lay in the rebel of our room, trying to find a way to
Talk down or deactivate the final man operating, the
trebuchet, who sells it locked and loaded, and aimed at a Spire
higher, stayed behind to talk totick, the Cancun about why tick
should not fight for father Lucchese, any longer?

All right, so welcome, everyone back to D&D the with the runt
pack. We begin today's episode with
you all sort of in the rubble ofthis massive explosion and
battle. The aftermath as it were of this
conflict that you were all in. You've all found an area just at

(05:58):
the base of the tower that was struck by The Rock.
To essentially take a breath a short rest for a couple of
spellcasters. And more importantly, sort of
just take a break from the islands that just ensued.
You all have taken father, Lucius prisoner so to speak.
Once more sort of killed his spirit and more recently,

(06:20):
Malachi says, punched him on conscious.
Oh yeah. It might go.
I can't believe I missed that detail.
What looms large now is the one remaining Siege engine on the
horizon. A single War Machine left,
completely taught with a large Boulder pressed into a cupped.

(06:43):
Sort of launching mechanism thatyou all see.
In the distance aimed at one of the nearby towers with a lone
soldier. With a gritty iron face.
Look watching you. All you will have the aftermath
around. You, the building having been
destroyed, Rubble, kicked up allaround you and half of the Guard
Force, killed in the Skirmish there.

Seems to be a decent bit of sadness and sort of uncertainty
around circad and that is where we all begin.
So you all are sort of standing around at the base of this
tower. Now, looking out into the
distance smell, I guess is just punched father Luce as a big
smile on his face. Looking at all of you.
What would you like to do oral face onto like, slap himself

No, it's what I'm doing because I I I'm I was overwhelmed and I
think you need your rest to dealwith the the tribute share but I
don't know what I'm doing waiting here.

I mean by that I don't cast spells, I have nothing to gain

from the tower, your mind is in the right place.
You feel yourself driven by yourgoals and your aspirations, you
know, your sense of Knighthood to help these people but in

feel yourself slowing down a little bit.

It's probably burned by now. So you are moving a little
slower, though. Doom, this is something, you
know this. And you notice yourself your
mechanics, you know, they normally they need some time to
sort of recharge you need a selflubricate at night.
Don't you? so you feel your, your metallic
components sort of grinding against each other a little more

but all of you do feel a bit more strengthened due to a
recent level up that you all hadUm, part of that is actually an
increase in your mutation. Ah.
Oh, I forgot about that. Oh, I hope you haven't forgotten
that. So I know you guys sort of got
into a little bit here, but I want to put this up before you

begin doing role play stuff. So um, before I go any for the
day most and higher you guys like to short rest here, Yeah,
yes, higher and damos you guys can go ahead and mark off a
short rest on your character sheets, you know, return, those
hit points to you game back, your spell slots in the areas
you want to. And by the way, for those of you
who increase their level and gain some new spells you now

feel those power sort of come toyou and to gain some new spells.
So guys all feel a little bit stronger because of that.
Um but for those of you who still haven't rested in a while
you still feel sort of but so umas for our mutations, I'm going
to start with higher. Okay.
The first thing that you gain isthat you can now talk back to

alcohol. Oh, I'm not sure if you realize
it was only talking to you, you were not you.
But now, you can have a full-on conversation with alcoholic
beverages. Good.
Thank God. I know that's important to you,
but so before it was just talking to you and you did sound

Let's say that. And as for your wobble, you have
now officially become wobbly allthe time.
Every even when you're moving, you're sort of have this wobble

But to everyone watching you, it's sort of its the like,
drunken effect to the max. You know, you look like you're
stumbling or about to fall everydirection, you move when you're
fighting or casting spells, you also sort of just rock back and
forth. I'm excited to never be taken
seriously, again. You're just a little swaying,

now this is just gonna be a veryminor thing that you have now

Evolution of this mutation, you just have a very slight fear of
lightning oh, Perfect. And next.

As you level up in your mutations evolve, your laser
blood. Has now begun glowing faintly
through your armor. Oh, it's it's I suppose like a
dull red silver glow. That shines through your
metallic components and through the cracks of your body.
It's trying to Brightest granting a bit of light in

darkness and like demon Dark environments.
Now you grant a 10 foot radius circle of light around you?
Oh, one part of this that I willnote for you and it will if it
ever comes up, I should warn younow.
So you don't get caught in it. But because of that, you now
have disadvantage on stealth checks.

(16:02):
If you're trying to hide in darkness, that's happened.
This in both campaigns, my my mutations have given me
disadvantage on still. Well, Dooms an artist lad.
Why would he hide? Yeah, that is true.
No character will never. Yeah, that sounds good.
That's funny. The last one was because you

(16:23):
were busting all the time, right?
Yeah. Well, this time you do have
light, though. So you have lightness in any
darkness that you go in though, so cute, you Oh, you have a
minimum 10 feet, or I guess maximum, 10 feet view any

direction. It is dim light that comes out
of you. This is not like extremely
bright, but it is just enough for you to see a couple of
things. You all right up.
Next we have Deimos, you actually gain a pretty nice
effect with this. If with your eye, your Starfleet
eyes, you can continue to see Starbursts and every direction.

(17:04):
In fact, the Starbursts have nowgrown even brighter.
So the point now where staring directly at an extremely bright
Source, say for example the Sun and extremely bright star or
like a light spell, almost is like blinding it, like hurts
your eyes more than a normal person's might.
You've got the blue eye, pretty privileged an extra bad amount

(17:27):
to look into bright lights. But now, you can look a little
easier Into Darkness. So um, if you didn't have it all
ready you gained dark? Vision out to 80 feet.
Oh, dang. So when that enhance my dark
vision I already have or yes your standard dark vision is out

(17:48):
to 60 feet. So now you can just see a bit
farther than anyone else in yourspecies.
Nice looking at Doom is gonna hurt you so bad.
Everything is just a bit brighter now and you can sort of
pick out the light that is in darkness.
A little better, which allows you to see into it more clearly.
Nice awesome. And last, oh, I guess Malaga

(18:10):
also gets a level up but I will not share with you what he gains
know. Next up though is Orpheus or if
the first thing that you've gained, is that your iron nails.
Have in fact, grown a bit sharper.
Well, I also feel heavy or both of your hands sort of way down,

(18:31):
just a fraction of it, a pound more than they did before.
Which sort of throws you off to be fair.
This body is new to you. So you already were a little
Unknown about the materials here, but your hands are just a
little less dexterous than before and no way.
I'm gonna impose any disadvantages on you for that
but just imagine like your hand,right is probably just a little

worse. Okay, that's fine. also, as part
of this, your unarmed strikes, Adeal in additional one D6.
Slashing damage. Oh, And that is part of your
nails. Mm-hmm.

Okay, for this one you've gainedsort of a significant
Improvement to the Finesse of your tattoos that you can sort
of Ink on yourself. Okay.
Um, there's it's no longer child's penmanship.
You can sort of now make a designs more or less.
You can you can make a face a little better that tattoo of

really to see that you've been focusing on can now, get I would
say about 50% better. Nice.
Okay. So as a part of this, the
maximum amount of ink that you can bring forth to your body
increases as well up right now. You can probably block out
roughly 30 maybe 40% of your body.
Wow. but that's Hard as you can.It does it's like a

concentration thing to focus on the blackout that much of your
body but you can sort of bring it around to different areas and
and do a full blackout tattoo. Very cool.
Okay, um so as you begin runningwith dualism and malicious.
Another interesting thing happens as part of the first
mutation that I listed, which isyou begin running and you feel

your nails, get a little sharper, you look down, they
weigh you down a little bit um and as they weigh you down you
see sort of simultaneously all 10 Nails, sloth right off to the
ground. oh, You look underneath and you see it's it's your

normal nails that you had on before the like you know human
keratin Nails underneath. It's not just flesh, but of the
iron pieces just fell right to the ground.
It's why did this happen? you look down after a few
moments of staring at it, you see, coming out of the very edge

of your cuticle, you see a tiny glint of metal pushing through
Unlimited iron glitch. I think I would just look at my
nails for second as I rode like I sort of fall behind us and do
them. Just look at the metal that she
left off. And I'm just gonna be like Guess

this is part of it and keep going because while this is
really weird. So is everything else that has
happened to me these last few days.

you say, for those of you who are at all, you know,
knowledgeable of Siege, instruments can roll a check on
that if you'd like to figure it out.
But either way the enormous stone that is locked into the

back is arced to look like of tohit maybe the first or second
floor of this Tower. And as you run over it, you
notice a decent amount of peopleare already outside of the
tower, just likely for fear of one tower all over already went
down and they were just afraid for their lives.
But we know at least one guy wholiterally just went home.
So I don't want to start writingto samir's house.

Excellent. You get all the three of you
make your way over and you notice is a bit slower than the
rest of you sort of shots, slow down a bit of a bitch exhausted.
I Hold on, let's make a plan. Maybe I'll get the bottom
floors. You guys can run up to the hoop.

And you see I'm running over as you guys make your way over, you
see, one of the guards of sigil Um the where am I?
Yeah with the giant iron masks. Those like circadian guards once
over but the handout in front ofyou and says halt what's your

There's a trebuchet aimed here. The intentional gets down.
Gets the guards in order, we're running to the top floor, to
start touring. The people up there, you sort of
looks around and you point to the edge of the forests, you
know. Now several hundred feet away.
Oh, there's more of them. We can send a, I'll notify the,

the chief guard all the time forthis, you just need to evacuate
them. Okay.
I need to keep going. Oh yes.
Yes, of course, can continue. And you see the guard sort of
also now running off in a different direction to find the
the captain of the Guard. To inform them of this new
development. The three of you make your way
into the building. Now, when you see a flurry of
people, each of these towers is occupied by likely, you would

(25:23):
guess 100 200 people. So, there's a decent amount of
occupants that are now, sort of running around.
You see a lot holding their valuables making a great escape,
others are sort of bunkering down, you know, just windows are
getting barricaded on the very first floor, the floor.
That is normally over swept by the waves is abandoned as usual.
But as you will climb to the second, you know, notice the
shop Windows have been barricaded.

(25:45):
You see what looks to be some sort of house, you know, like a
family inside has begun walking the doors and barricading, the
windows. You see people running around.
There's a bit of hecticness in this Tower.
And as you guys see this would you like to do?
Um I think I want to keep going to the top floor but I'll you

(26:05):
know. Hug my legs, goodbye really
quick being careful not to just skin and say like, you know, be
safe on Ice gets as many people as you can now I guess nods to
you and you notice he's you know, he's he's worried about
this for sure. He's got the sense of urgency
with him. He goes yes.
All right. And he makes his way around the
second floor and goes. Listen up, you fuckers.
You need to get the shit out of here right now.

(26:26):
Just sounds like a threat. He doesn't sound like a do good,
or do love. I need you to leave this moment.
Yeah, it sounds like he's threatening that he's gonna hurt
them if they don't sleep. It doesn't sound that way.
And then I'll just take off running back towards the top

Um you take off running Doom, where you going?
Um, I guess we'll get them in the middle.
Okay, you make your way to the middle as the two of you began
running up stairs. Now I assume both you are
running up. Sort of that the same time both
of you run. Smack.
Dab into a familiar face. Running down the stairs.

Know you recognize the man from waterdeep Vinny.
Oh! Dashing down the stairs holding?
What looks like in his hand. Is a bouquet of thistles and
other grass like Plants appendages.
You holding them right around his hair.
He has this awful looking his eyes.
He sort of shouts out and goes. I thank goodness, you're alive.

I was really worried. What's, what's the news?
Is everyone? All right?
You need to get out of this Tower if any right now, get to
the garage floor, the others aredown there.
The towel was hit right? Was that was the one that was
the one bag I thought was in. Is she all right?
Or to say, this early Vinny, just go find the others, get
down, get go, go just go. Get, you'll see them, they're in

(27:58):
the rebel of our bedroom. Oh yeah, I can, I can do that.
Um, oh, okay. And he runs down, you see, he's
still clutching that bouquet of this and his hands.

Eventually you make your way into the mid floors.
You notice, there is a florist in here as well.

You also find a couple other shop fronts that already looked
to have been closed down or either bunker down, do them you
sort of see an area of frightened, people, all talkin'
hurriedly with each other and you see, or if it's run off to
higher floors, all sort of like,I guess I'll make like a message
on Loop, I guess and start running around.

(29:24):
Like, make my voice loud with presented Edition.
Um, and start running around. All right?
You start running around. What would you like to say
citizens? Please Evacuate.
The tower will be hit. Just say that on Loop.
Okay? They're hitting the tower.
Oh my God. You're evacuated.

(29:46):

problems of what happened here so far is, you haven't even

of the Tower, There are people up here.
You notice Samir shop, you run by it, it looks like it's still
closed. You don't notice anyone inside

the windows are dark, but everyone on this floor, still
seems hectic and bewildered at seeing somebody run up and down.
They all seem to be sort of May filing the way down.
Anyway, out of fear of what justhappened to discuss, perhaps
with the local law, man, to determine what is exactly just
occurred. And if there's any more danger,
but you've got this look on yourface that shows them all

(32:06):
otherwise. Is there anything you'd like to
do here? First off, I'm yelling as I go
through everybody evacuation. The tower is going to fall and
then I want to pull one of the bees off my necklace and imbue
it, with that. Same message.
I want to do like maybe three orI can do.
Hmm. I can do up to five objects at a

time. So I want to imbue five of my
bees of that message and drop them behind me as I'm going.
Um, and they okay, you pull out the little bees from your
necklace and they you imbue eachone with this little spark of
Arcane energy. Mm-hmm.
So, you know, click out the magnets, throw them behind me.
And each of them basically says Okay, so it's six seconds.
