Speaker 0 (00:00):
In today's episode,
we're talking about my three
favorite apps for contentrepurposing.
Now I have to tell you, inputting this specific podcast
together, before I ever thoughtabout hitting record, I thought
about content distribution, andso in our content funnels
challenge that we have going onright now, you can join us for
(00:20):
free.
Link is in the description.
I thought about the repurposingof each of these episodes, and
so I'm going to run you throughvery quickly the three apps that
my VA uses in order to do thecontent repurposing, and so I
think that this is going to helpa lot of agents.
One of my biggest takeaways inthis journey has been how
effective it is to be able tojust record audio and then use
(00:43):
that to repurpose for a bunch ofdifferent types of content.
So even if you're notnecessarily wanting to use video
, or you want to create morecontent but just don't feel like
you have the patience to sitdown and write it out, you can
also record audio.
So, with that in mind, my firstfavorite app for content
repurposing is called Descript, and this app is my favorite
(01:09):
because you can edit the audioor edit video by transcript.
So basically, you upload thevideo.
I'm recording this in Descriptso you can record or upload the
audio and then it basicallytakes the transcript and when
you delete words from thetranscripts, it deletes it from
the audio or the video.
Additionally, they also havethis tool called Underlord which
(01:30):
is a very interesting name thatyou can use AI to help you with
the editing.
So things like taking out allof the filler words, taking out
all the unnecessary pauses andalso just overall editing for
clarity.
So when you kind of go off on atangent or whatever that is,
it's going to clip out most ofit, and so I would say, from an
editing perspective, descript isprobably the easiest to use.
(01:54):
There is a bit of a learningcurve, but it is definitely
worth it once you get the hangof it.
There's a bunch of otherfeatures in there, too that I
haven't even scratched thesurface on, but I do love it for
editing audio and video.
I do the same for my reels andeverything like that.
The second app that I'm reallyloving is called Opus Clip, and
(02:14):
that is where you can upload avideo.
It's going to use AI to createthe clips from the video, and
it's also going to add theformatted captions and all that
fun stuff.
I typically edit first inDescript and then upload to Opus
Clip and that process takesjust a couple minutes and so
you're going to find from longform it's going to create those
(02:35):
really, really awesome clips.
I don't recommend uploadingunedited video into Opus Clip
because then it doesn'tnecessarily clip out all of the
extra fluff.
So typically edit first inDescript and then upload to Opus
Clip for the formatting and theclips.
I also use Opus Clip even whenit's not necessarily to create
the clips.
So, for example, if I'mrecording a reel or something
(02:58):
like that, it's already, let'ssay, 30, 45, 60 seconds, I still
upload it to Opus Clip so thatit adds the captions.
And app number three that Idon't really see people talking
about is called Cast Magic.
It's super awesome for beingable to create written content
for the repurposing right.
So think about Descript.
You can use for long form, short form or audio.
(03:19):
Opus Clip is to find the videoclips.
Cast magic you actually cancreate your own prompts for
different types of content andthen we use it to create the
emails, the Facebook group posts, the carousels.
All of the written content thatcomes from each episode gets
sort of drafted in cast magicand then my VA takes that and
(03:41):
does the distribution, and sothat's kind of our workflow here
.
I love all three of these apps.
None of them happen in Orbit, but you can schedule all your
content through Orbit and in ourcontent funnels challenge
there's a bonus that comes alongwith it that is going to show
you exactly how to use each ofthese apps.
We give you the prompts, allthat fun stuff.
So feel free to join us in thechallenge.
Like I said, it's free andthat's going on right now, so we
(04:04):
will drop the link for each ofthe apps, as well as the
challenge down in thedescription, as always.
If you have not already, pleasejoin the agent Facebook group
and join in on our dailydiscussion.
I'll see you in the nextepisode.
