Frank and I drove out to pass again. We got
in touch with the police department out there and two
officers we were signed to accompany us to the address
in the gas bell. The house was unoccupied and the
advertising papers being all about on the lawns. With the officers,
and we entered the house and went through it. In
some of the rooms were pieces of twenty during In
the middle room of the house we found a Mapple
clock which shimes on the quarter hours. On an end

table he found a ball of white train. It looked
like the same type that had been used to mark
the meeting place up on beer can and drive. In
one of the back bedrooms, we found seamed and scattered
around on the floor a state out of the rains
on the house. In contact with the men watching the
Harper residents, and found that the suspects were still less.
Nine fifty six skin drank and I arrived back at
the heart Or Home in Hollywood the Knights rouse.

The house was dark.

Frank went around to the back of the house. Yeah,
why wi time of the nine and you guys ever

the bath and you will all go.

out the backyard, you know top you figure it out. Okay, Frank,
everything's all right that job.

Yeah fine, you ain't kidding about the kidnapp thing?

Let's go makes your figure it might be unt. You
got a house and pass there? Oh yeah, said he
got one. H you're alliance property records passed through with
thy you have. We got the house, Max is the
one we're looking for us. All right, that's right, we
got the woman who was kidnaps. He's identified your picture,
you and your wife.
Speaker 9 (21:11):
He couldn't identify me.
Speaker 8 (21:12):
I ain't that a record?
Speaker 4 (21:13):
You ain't taking me no place? Come on again, he
cleans has a hide. He told me what had happened.
I told you, he said, let it go right away.

But he didn't know.

On November tenth, Style was held in Department ninety eighth
Superior Court of the State of California, him and for
the County of Los Angeles in a moment of herself
with that prist Thomas Senton Harper was tried and found
guilty of kidnapping. He was sentenced to life imprisonment in
the State Penitentiary Poults in California, without possibility of paroles.

His wife, Alice Mabel Harper, received a life sentence and
is now in the California Institution for Women, Corona, California.
