Speaker 1 (00:00):
US senators are calling for the impeachment of a federal
judge who authorized surveillance on lawmakers. Will go inside the
Arctic Frost investigation with one of the Biden administration's targets,
former Trump Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. Plus, the US
military is moving major assets into the Caribbean to fight
drug cartels. Department of War Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson is

(00:21):
here exclusively in moments. Plus Texas found thousands of illegal
aliens or non citizens on the voter rolls.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
We've got ace polster Mark Mitchell here.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
He found changing sentiments of the country around anti Semitism
and a total squish in Indiana is happening that we
must expose. It's all next to the Matt Gates Show.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Let's do this shaking up Washington, d C. We're breaking
the fever.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
Do you ever watch this guy on television. It's like
a machine.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
He's great. Matt Gates.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
As we join you this evening, we have breaking news.
Duly released records exposed deeply corrupt features of Jack Smith's
Arctic Frost investigation of President Trump and his allies. One
of those key allies, Trump's former chief of staff Mark
Meadows is going to react with us here in moments.
But let's catch up on what we learned from the documents.

(01:17):
Those released by the House Judiciary Committee just yesterday show
the sweeping investigation targeted more than one hundred and sixty
Republican operatives, lawmakers, media entities for so called twenty twenty
related election crimes. Arctic Frost investigators use FBI field offices
across the country. They executed cell phone search warrants to

(01:39):
get people in like this politicized dragnet over nothing. Those
among the one hundred and sixty targeted include Steve Bannon,
Peter Navarro, Ed Martin Scott Perry, Rudy Giuliani, and of
course Mark Meadows. The FBI was also looking into the
Conservative Partnership Institute, their president, Ed Corrigan, was the subject

(01:59):
of some correspondents. A redacted FBI email exchange from twenty
twenty two shows that an unnamed source told the FBI
that Corgan is engaged in quote treason quote training people
for civil war, and he asked plans that are not
good for the FBI, which he hates and refers to
as spooks. I have referred to them as far worse
I'm sure this is insane. I'm a member of the

(02:22):
Conservative Partnership Institute is a building near the Capitol where
conservatives make podcasts, share books, research material and strategize for
better legislation. CPI was basically my home base when we
took out Speaker McCarthy. Hardly the stuff of civil war
to justify FBI spying. New documents also prove that the

(02:42):
January sixth Committee was working hand in hand with Special
Counsel Jack Smith to take down President Trump and his associates.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
This was never about the law.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
It was politics masquer rating as a law. Representatives Bernie
or Benny Thompson and Liz Cheney were giving Smith deposition transcripts,
text messages, including messages from Mark Meadows, who will have
on in just moments. Responding to all these new Arctic
frost revelations, President Trump posted on truth Social and said
these thugs should all be investigated and put in prison.

(03:12):
A disgrace to humanity. Deranged Jack Smith is a criminal.
The Senate Judiciary vowed accountability, not just for Jack Smith,
but for everyone involved.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
We should have Watergate style hearings on this for months.
Judge Bosberg gave a speech about how he was going
to thwart the Trump agenda before he got those cases.
He was not the assignment judge. He's on vacation. Somehow
gets these cases at one in the morning. Was he

(03:44):
tipped off? Did somebody tell him these cases against President
Trump and his agenda now we're coming. It's what he
did to Senator Cruz and maybe other senators. Absolutely, and
I don't say this lightly, Absolutely is worthy of impeachment proceedings.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Joining us now former chief of staff to President Trump,
former North Carolina Honessman, and current one of the leaders
of the Conservative Partnership Institute, Mark Meadows. So, Mark, what's
your reaction to what we learned in these information drops
about Operation Arctic Frost.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Well, part of it is not really surprising, Matt, You
and I know all too well how over zealous DJ
and FBI, you know, actually have been going after President Trump,
candidate Donald Trump, and then President Trump again, and so
it's not really a surprise. What was surprising was the

(04:36):
scope and how large the drag net is, and with
you know, the additional seventeen hundred pages that Chuck Grassley's
committee released a day in addition to what Jim Jordan's
committee released yesterday in the day before. It's just surprising
that they would include Ed Corrigan, you know, as this

(04:59):
some how mastermind for a new civil war. Listen, Ed
as you know, you know Ed personally. I mean, he's
served in the Senate as a staffer for many, many years,
probably not only one of the nicest guys you would meet,
but also understated. And to suggest that at sometimes somehow

(05:21):
the hub of some you know, treesonous event was just
beyond the pale.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Well, they're always projecting anyone accusing Ed Corrigan of treason
is themselves engaging in treason his conduct by spying on
their political opponents, attempting to smear people with criminal process
because they don't like people's.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
Viewpoint or the way they organize.

Speaker 1 (05:45):
And I think it's important just take a moment and
explain the role of the Conservative Partnership Institute has in
servicing a lot of the members that fight for the
American people on Capitol Hill.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Well, listen, it's all about unit that conservative movement. It's
making sure that heroes like yourself who have served in
Congress willing to speak up for the forgotten man and woman,
actually have a place, you know, not only a place
to meet, but a place to strategize. Uh. And we
do a lot of training from everything from staff assistants

(06:20):
to chief of staffs on Capitol Hill. And so it's
all about education and uniting. And yet here our CEO
is somehow mentioned in a subpoena and a document was
just breathtaking.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Yeah, they're trading people how to write legislation, and we're
accused of planning the civil.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Weed if that chapter education, if there was ever an
educational group, you know, it is ed Corgan and what
he's doing. And in fact, he puts the emphasis that
we have to train that next generation of conservative leader.
And yet here all of a sudden, there's some nefarious
purpose by coming from an FBI agent out at Seattle, Washington.

(07:06):
You know, it's just it's scary, honestly, and not surprising.
You and I have talked about this, but it is very,
very troubling because listen, we're not the victim. Were in
the fight. You know, you know that we have to
stay in the fight for the good of our country.
The president knows that he has to stay in the

(07:27):
fight for the good of this country. But yet when
you start to see the depths of the long arms
of the DOJ and FBI under the previous administration.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
It's very, very concerning.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
And it does beg the question, so what should Congress
do about this?

Speaker 2 (07:45):
Now?

Speaker 1 (07:46):
The Senate had a big press conference today and someone
you and I know well, Senator Lindsey Graham, had some
thoughts to share about how this will proceed. I'm going
to see if you can catch the tell in this
former a good member of the Oversight Committee, Mark Medis.
See if you can catch the tell in what Senator
Graham is saying about the timeline.

Speaker 6 (08:05):
To listen, I want to know was there any coordination
between Fanny Willis and New York by Jack Smith.

Speaker 3 (08:14):
We're going to get every piece of paper we can.

Speaker 6 (08:16):
Get, and I want Jack Smith to come forward, but
I want the information first.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
So he says documents first. Of course, we can't bring
in Jack Smith. What do you hear there in the
Senator's remarks.

Speaker 5 (08:28):
Yeah, listen, here's what the American people, your viewers want.
They want accountability, and they want it now and anything.
There's two ways things happen on Capitol Hill. You know
this slow and never, And if it goes slowly, it's
not going to happen, So you got to seize on
the outrage that's there now. But you know, I said,

(08:52):
Senator Cruz actually talked about the impeachment of one particular
judge because they had signed off on one of these subpoenas.
But it's not just about what happened to senators or
House members because they sign up for it. It's what's happening
to those people that don't sign up for everyday American

(09:13):
citizen who wants to trust their GoJ and FBI, and
yet we have a whole lot of credibility that we
have to earn back on their behalf for the American
people to fully trust them.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
When you and I were in Congress together, our number
one goal was to get the witness in the chair
under oath with the cameras on. And we figured if
we could do that, you know, maybe we didn't have
every document, yet, you could bring them back. They brought
back Donald Trump Junior four times. Plus the notion that

(09:46):
Lindsey Graham thinks you get one shot at Jack Smith,
you can't talk to him until you hunt down every
piece of paper you're interested in.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
That is a trick. That is a Washington game to.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Say Wow, Well, we don't want the witnesses until we
get the documents. That what what Mark Meadows is telling
you about slow and never leans very hard to never.
By the way, paging the John Durham report, we've talked
about this, Mark, you were making sense of all of
this in real time. You had Trey Goudi and Paul

(10:17):
Ryan and those establishment types telling you to stop asking questions,
and then you get vindicated by John Durham three years
from now. Do you think we're gonna have to wait
three years to get answers? What would be your advice
to those lawmakers and oversight positions today?

Speaker 5 (10:32):
Listen, speed is the key. I would I would hold
a hearing as quickly as they open back up the
government and uh, and then they send out those notices
right away. I think the outrage over time actually starts
to go down and uh and people seem to forget.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
But I think that speed.

Speaker 5 (10:52):
Is the key, and not only in oversight hearing, but
with actions that actually come from that to make sure
that people were held accountable.

Speaker 1 (11:01):
So I also I'm gonna end with this Mark. When
you look at what Jack Smith was doing and the
time they were doing it, and the type of people
they were targeting. It seemed to me the goal was
to try to make sure that Trump could never come back,
and that of course meant indicting Trump, jailing Trump, but
it also meant looking at so many of the people

(11:22):
who have helped President Trump be successful, people like you,
people like Mark Meadows, people like Peter Navarro or I'm sorry,
people like Steve Bannon, and I think that they really
were trying to take out that organizational class that helped
President Trump so much. Do you feel like you were
targeted because Jack Smith was trying to stop a Trump return.

Speaker 5 (11:45):
Well, obviously, when you look at the subpoenas, you can't
look at the subpoena as any further and suggest that
this was a narrowly focused approach. That being said, you know,
I don't come in on this stuff that I have
been involved with and quite frankly still am involved with
from a legal standpoint, But I can tell you in

(12:05):
looking at the subpoenas and how large and voluminous the
seventeen hundred pages, it's the who's who of the MAGA
movement that was on every single one of those subpoenas,
and it was a chilling effect on them trying to
make sure and we wouldn't have seen it, Matt. We
wouldn't have seen it had it not been for November
of twenty twenty four and President Trump going back in

(12:27):
the White House.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Yeah, I mean Charlie Kirk, another great organizer, supporter of
our movement, targeted by these very folks. Mark Medow's former
chief of staff for the President, one of the great
leaders at the Conservative Partnership Institute, where they are definitely
not planning civil war. Give Ed cor Agan and everyone
there our best will.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Thanks, Matt. Take care and coming.

Speaker 1 (12:48):

my show Real America.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
The United States Southern Command SOUTHCOM is overseeing a major
build up of naval, air, and ground assets in the
area around the Caribbean Sea, including the waters off the
coast of Venezuela. The goal is countering drug trafficking and
narco terrorist organizations. They've been seeing multiple strikes on vessels
in international waters involved in drug trafficking.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
In recent days and weeks.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
We've seen a number of assets being staged in preparation
for a potential war. These warships carry strike groups, fighter jets,
even bombers. They're headed to these Caribbean waters. The Navy's
most advanced and deadly carrier strike group is led by
the USS Gerald R Ford is currently on the way
from the Mediterranean. The US government asserts that large scale

(16:01):
drug shipments through the Caribbean are a direct threat to
the homeland. Trafficking groups have been designated as terrorist organizations,
elevating the severity of the response. Much of this force
appears to be directed at Venezuela's illegitimate dictator, Nicholas Maduro.
Maduro has postured himself as some sort of modern day Castro,
an anti Western bulwark in America's backyard. He and his

(16:24):
loyalists and government have become extraordinarily rich, not by drilling
the liquid gold under their feet, but by skimming money
off of foreign investments and turning the country into a
safe haven for Latin America's worst narcos. It's an unacceptable
status quo to a White House committed to reducing drug
deaths in America. Senator Rick Scott of Florida recently said

(16:45):
that Maduro's days are numbered.

Speaker 5 (16:48):
I was Maduau, I'd head to rush your China right now.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Because his days are numbered.

Speaker 5 (16:53):
Something's going to happen, whether it's internal or external.

Speaker 7 (16:56):
I think something's going to happen.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Venezuela can neighboring states hosting US warships or cooperating with
US operations, calling it a military provocation. The Venezuelan Defense
minister described the armed forces as being on full wartime
alert in their country. Venezuela's elderly prisoners are even being
organized into militias. So what's the goal of the US

(17:19):
military build up in the Caribbean anti terrorism? Or are
we seeing a resurgence of the Monroe doctrine where the
United States cares more about the Americas than Land's oceans away.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
Joining US now.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Department of War Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson Kingsley, what can
you tell us about the moves we've been seeing in
the Caribbean. What decision making does that battle carrier group
open up for President Trump?

Speaker 9 (17:43):
Yeah, it's a great question. This is truly historic. We
have a carrier strike group and an embarked carrier air
wing that are going to be going to the southcom aar.
They should arrive in about three weeks time, and they
will be there making sure that narco terrorism cannot terrorize
their region any longer and reek havoc on the American people.

(18:03):
This is a very important presidential directive and the Department
of War is really proud to be a part of
this effort. I think the American people have seen you
know that we are unafraid to engage to protect our
homeland and our people. Just this week we had our eleventh, twelfth,
and thirteenth strike on cartel narco terrorist boats. We are
taking these individuals out wherever we find them. They're the

(18:26):
Al Qaeda of the Western Hemisphere, and there is absolutely
no reason that we should allow these people to traffic
deadly narcotics that kill Americans through our shores and across
our waterways. That ends under President Trump, of.

Speaker 1 (18:40):
Course, the hope is by moving these assets in place,
the bad conduct will be deterred.

Speaker 2 (18:46):
Is that bad conduct.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Something is you're looking at only on the sea or
are you trying to deter conduct on land as well?

Speaker 2 (18:54):
And if so, what is that conduct?

Speaker 9 (18:57):
That will ultimately be the President's decision. But what I
can tell you is that the Department of War is
always ready and we are making sure that we have
the assets in the region to meet the needs and
directives of the President. And we will continue to make
sure that that's a priority for this department going forward. Again,
I really want to paint a picture for the American
people of the historic nature of this. We have not

(19:18):
had in recent memory a carrier strike group that has
gone to the South kom Iowa. We're used to seeing
those in the Centcom region in the Middle East. This
is a Department of War that is protecting our homeland.
We've kept homelands across the world safe for so many years,
and we have neglected our own and now we are
making sure that our borders are secure. Number One. The
Department of War has played a major role in that

(19:41):
border crossings are now at zero, and we're making sure
that deadly traffic narcotics are no longer coming into the
United States and just wreaking havoc on our hemisphere. So
this is a very important effort for the Department of
War and it will continue to be a priority going forward.
The Secretary has been very clear and the President's been
very clear, if you traf deadly drugs across the Western Hemisphere,

(20:03):
we will find you, we will network your groups, we
will hunt you, and we will kill you. That is
a firm message that we're sending to the region, and
we will make sure that the narco terrorists throughout the
Western Hemisphere are aware of it.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
You're absolutely right that SOUTHCOM needs to be more of
a priority. I was on the Armed Services Committee for
eight years and oftentimes neither Republicans in ore Democrats would
even ask questions about SOUTHCOM.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
It was an afterthought.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
There was obsession with indopay COOM and with Scentcom, and
I don't mean to diminish the mission there, but this
is very significant. Do you think that it reflects really
a return to the Monroe doctrine and what we expect
in coming defense authorization bills, the priorities of SOUTHCOM to
rise at the Department of War.

Speaker 9 (20:51):
I think you're going to see a lot of focus
on this region, absolutely, And you bring up an important point.
It's an AOAR that hasn't really gotten a lot of
love in the past, right and under the Biden administration, unfortunately,
a lot of what SOUTHCOM was actually tasked with doing
was engaging in climate change across the region, which is
just crazy to me when I got here and learned
that right like that the military would be helping with

(21:12):
those sorts of ideological efforts, total waste of our time.
We're getting back to Lethali, We're getting back to war fighting,
and that starts in our own hemisphere. And I can't
underscore enough how important that is, because if we don't
have an America first Western hemisphere, how can we project
strength across the world. We have to make sure that
our own hemisphere is locked down and that America is

(21:32):
strong and America is secure and people know that we
mean business. I think when other countries all across the
world whether it's China or Iran, and they see just
the chaos at our southern border. Under the previous administration,
they saw weak America. Now they see absolute strength when
it comes to the United States in our military, and
that's fantastic news.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Are there plans to have other Latin American militaries involved
with any of the exercises or operations that are planned.

Speaker 9 (22:00):
We're absolutely working alongside a lot of our partners in
the region. I can tell you for the border specifically,
we've been doing a lot of joint patrols with the
Mexican military, and we're making sure that for our allies
in the region, we're supporting them, they're supporting us. We
ultimately want a Western hemisphere that is strong, right. We
want these countries to be strong. They don't want narco
terrorism many of them. Neither do we, So we will

(22:22):
work in partnership with a lot of these countries to
make sure we eliminate this threat. I know you're a
fan of El Salvador. We've worked with them as well
and sending people to Sikat. It's going to be important,
I think for the Department of War to continue to
engage alongside those allies as we take the fight to
these cartels and these narco terrorists.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
And are you having to plan for any allies coming
to Venezuela's aid. If Venezuela were to take offensive action
against US military personnel, We'll have to see.

Speaker 9 (22:51):
I can definitely tell you though, that it would be unwise.
Right the Department of War is sending a clear message
here to everyone in the region who engages in illicit
narcotics that that has to stop. That this is a
president who will not tolerate such criminal terrorist behavior and
we want to make sure that we put a stop
to it. So that's our charge here at the Department
of War, and we will continue to make sure that

(23:12):
we meet the President's direction.

Speaker 1 (23:14):
Kings Lee Wilson, Press Secretary of the Department of War,
thanks for coming on the program and getting us all
up to speed.

Speaker 9 (23:20):

about how Americans are thinking about anti Semitism? Do folks
think it's actually being used to silence legitimate criticism of Israel?
Mark Mitchell will break down the numbers next.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Anti Semitism it's awful.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
We rejected categorically, no person or group of people should
be judged based on how they worship or ethnicity of
any kind. We evaluate character and actions, not origin or faith.
But increasingly anti Semitism has been used as a cudgel
to attack anyone who criticizes the government of Israel. That's crazy,

(27:00):
and we're also learning, based on very recent polling, it's counterproductive.
We are typically big PBS fans here, but this piece
published in May makes a good point. Here's what it says.
Netanyahu has accused critics of Israel or his policies of antisemitism,
using fiery rhetoric to compare them to the Jewish people's
worst persecutors. But as detractors say, he is over using

(27:22):
the label to further his political agenda and trying to
stifle even legitimate criticism, and that doing so risks diluting
the terms meeting at a time when anti Semitism is
surging worldwide. Yeah, if everything is anti semitism, then nothing
is anti semitism.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
And is netsa Yahoo.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Really identifying anti semitism or is he using the term
to deflect blame from his own poor decisions? And my
evidence for my characterizations of bbi's decisions is poor rests
in part in how Israel has.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Squandered goodwill with the world. That's what we explored. This
post by Ace Polster Mark Mitchell got our attention.

Speaker 3 (28:04):
WHOA.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
The early data says Americans think accusations of anti Semitism
are being used to silence criticism of Israel. We know
Mark was in the field getting this data. We wanted
him to break down the results on our show. Mark
Mitchell is the head of polling and operations at Rasmussen
and he joins us. Now, so Mark, unload the data
on me. How are Americans thinking about anti Semitism.

Speaker 10 (28:29):
They're thinking that it's being used as a bludgeon, a
blunt force object in order to corral opinion.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
And it's not a good look. Which is close to
your opinion.

Speaker 10 (28:38):
Most critics of Israel are mainly motivated by an anti
semitism or accusations of anti Semitism are being used to
silence criticism of Israel. And the first response is only
thirty four percent. Only thirty four percent say it's anti semitism.
But people are saying now forty four percent that it's

(28:58):
being used to silence criticism. And it's like across the board,
it's really almost bipartisan among everybody. Republicans only forty three
percent of them think criticism of Israel is truly antisemitic.
And I think this is what happens when you have like, really,
they're being very bad at PR. We've been tracking support
for Israel and it was plus thirty after October seven.

(29:20):
It's not only plus thirteen in our most recent polling,
and they've lost like twenty five thirty points among Republican support.
It's gotten to the point where Republicans, who are still
the most Israel supporting group politically, only fifty percent of
them would support troops on the ground to go and
defend Israel against Iran or Palestinians. So it's only getting worse,

(29:41):
and in my opinion. What's happening in the public town
square is just adding fuel to the fire.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
It is interesting, and I wonder how it relates to
views about anti Semitism and criticisms of Israel previously. Is
this a market shift from how people thought about the
intersection of those things.

Speaker 10 (30:00):
I think it's a confluence of things going on, and
this isn't exactly blowback against Israel. I think it's really
the situation that we've been put in where the proverbial
frog of America isn't in a really hot pot of
boiling water because we actually pull on Net and Yahoo
favorability and believe it or not, his marks aren't that bad.

(30:20):
His favorables are in the low forties, but if we
did favorability of the federal government, it would be in
the thirties. Only thirty percent of America says they trust
the federal government. So I think there's some aspect of
there is a perceived backstop of Israel, and people know
that it isn't exactly America first and America first.

Speaker 3 (30:39):
The agenda, everything that Trump was brought.

Speaker 10 (30:42):
Into office on was a really popular domestic agenda, not
a foreign policy agenda, and by a two to one margin.
People are saying that Trump is not doing enough domestically.
He has to get back to what he was elected for,
and all of a sudden his approval ratings starting to
drop too. Now is it horrible, No, it's not that bad.
It's negative eight points in net approval. That's the lowest

(31:03):
of his term so far. It's obviously related to the shutdown,
but people support the shutdown, so I think part of
it is like, well, what are we doing.

Speaker 3 (31:12):
What's the plan here?

Speaker 10 (31:14):
Are we going to actually do anything and use this
in order to get cuts or any kind of legislation
at all? And all we're doing is dalliance's overseas and
not working on the issues that have really been giving
Americans heartache over the last four years.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
No, I do want to ask you about the shutdown,
because you had indicated that it was something people weren't
caring about. I am seeing a little more interested in
it now because it's getting older and having more effect.
But back to the core question about how people think
about anti Semitism, not so much as animating criticisms of Israel,
but more as a mechanism to silence those criticisms.

Speaker 2 (31:50):
Do you think that.

Speaker 1 (31:52):
That changing sentiment is tied to changing sentiments about the
US Israel relationship. I mean, look, I remember when I
came into Congress, the US relationship was broadly popular and
enjoyed bipartisan support. And now it seems on the right
and left people are starting to ask questions and that
I wonder if that's what's causing this change in sentiment

(32:13):
on the key questions you've been asking.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Well, clearly they've lost support for a reason.

Speaker 10 (32:18):
And obviously some of it's the optics of what's happening
in the news with Gaza. Some of it's the way
in which the Democrat Party really has seemed tod and
hang a no vacancy sign for Jews and their party.
The support among Democrats for Israel is plunging. Eighteen to
twenty nine year olds, only twenty one percent support Israel
compared to Palestinians.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
But it's really.

Speaker 10 (32:41):
Hard to say because there's also this issue like obviously
people aren't watching everything that's going on over there. But
one of the other questions we asked in general, how
concerned are you about foreign countries influencing US policy? And
people are really concerned fifty percent, very concerned. Another twenty
seven percent somewhat and it's literally wow, everybody, Republicans and Democrats,

(33:02):
So there's this aspect of well like. And also we
talked about on your show how compared to Ukraine and
compared to Taiwan, a ward to defend Israel was the
least popular of those. So there is something about Israel
where people are like, what's what's going on?

Speaker 3 (33:18):
Why are we doing that one?

Speaker 10 (33:20):
But then does the nation of Israel have too much
influence over US policy or not enough influence over US policy?
Forty one percent of people say too much? Only ten
percent say not enough. But then there's thirty three percent
who say the amounts about right, Fifty one percent of
Republicans say about right, but Republicans say too much twenty
nine percent to ten percent. Nobody says that Israel has

(33:42):
not enough influence. It's really low numbers across the board.
So people I think are just concerned about the government
doing things that's not in their personal best interest, and
Israel has made itself a salient lightning rod because of
how I think they've been handling the discussion, which is
using leftist tactics. And my plea to the right is

(34:05):
you're only making things works. You need a charm offensive
or something. But the idea that you'll take somebody like
Tucker and just be able to cancel him like everybody else, Like,
that's not how the internet works right now. And people
really aren't, you know, embracing this new wave where like
you cannot silence people.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
It's just not going to work. We actually have a
First Amendment now on the internet.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
Yeah, And it is also a widely held consequence that
is visited on those who have tried to silence others.

Speaker 2 (34:33):
When you saw the Biden.

Speaker 1 (34:34):
Administration try to tell people that they couldn't post the
true side effects of vaccines, you got a lot of
people that left that part of our politics and join
the right. And I think, you know, you don't want
to see a circumstance where you tell people on the
right that they can't criticize other countries for having outsized
influence on the decisions we make here in the United States.
I do want to ask about how this shutdown is

(34:56):
being perceived. You saw it as an opportunity to get
back to some of the Doge energy that was driving
positive sentiment among younger voters. What are you saying about
how people are looking at the shutdown.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Now, Yeah, Zoomers are not happy.

Speaker 10 (35:10):
They essentially want to burn the system down because they
think it's economically unfair to them. And they really aren't principled.
They don't care about liberal or capitalism. They just want
things fixed, and if that means voting for a Democrat socialist,
They're absolutely going to do it. And they hit a
sixty percent sixty percent favorable of Donald Trump's job approval

(35:30):
back in February, and that's when he was shutting down
USAID and promising to audit Social Security and go take
a look at Fort Knox. I haven't heard that in
late ten months, right, And now where are they? Well,
he's in the thirties with them, So he's completely lost
that huge bump in support he's had, and I think
it's because they realize, well, he's not going to actually

(35:51):
change the system. If you look at what's happening, Donald
Trump's doing a lot, but he's operating within the confines
of a set of rules that has not worked for Zoomers. Now,
about the shutdown, we had a number of fifty seven
percent of America, including almost three quarters of Republicans, said
they would support a shutdown if it meant working with

(36:11):
Democrats in order to freeze or cut spending, that's the point.
And now we were in the field with some more
shutdown pulling. I expect that it will say that very
few people think it has a major impact on them personally.
And I think also the idea of tracking blame for
the shutdown doesn't really matter because a lot of people
just want the shutdown.

Speaker 3 (36:31):
To happen because they're angry.

Speaker 10 (36:33):
But at the end of the day, Donald Trump hitting
the lowest net approval of his term. Again, it's not
that bad. Joe Biden was probably negative twenty five right
now four years ago. But it is starting to at
least draw a little bit of blood and it's like, Okay, well,
what are we going to use it for? Is it
going to be the purge? Because everybody's EBT cards shut off.

Speaker 3 (36:52):
And now we're riding in Walmart's.

Speaker 10 (36:54):
That's probably not good optics, and so there needs to
be a plan about what they're going to do.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
It's so far it's been like nothing.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Mark Mitchell here to give us the good, the bad,
and the ugly from public sentiment.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
We appreciate you coming on and sharing your perspective.

Speaker 3 (37:07):
Great to be here, Thanks Matt, and.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
Coming up, there are over two thousand illegal aliens or
non citizens who have been able to register to vote
in Texas. The voter roles are being cleaned up, and
that may be a signal to the rest of the country.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
Charlie Collyan is here to explain.

Speaker 7 (39:06):

klowd TV. Simply go to cloudtv dot com and subscribe
to watch twenty four to seven live feeds OFAYN. The
live package is only two dollars and fifty cents per

(39:30):
cloudtv dot com and do it today.

Speaker 1 (39:39):
Texas just checked under the hood of its voter rules,
and surprise, surprise, found a few extra passengers who weren't
exactly supposed to be there. The Great State of Brisket
and renewed Border Security found thousands of non citizens registered
to vote two thousand, seven hundred and twenty four to
be exact.

Speaker 2 (39:57):
Texas election officials.

Speaker 1 (39:58):
Used a federal system called SAVE short for Systemic Alien
Verification for Entitlements. It's a database that basically checks to
see if someone's a citizen before they go casting ballots
for whoever promises free Wi Fi and open borders.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
But we found them, and isn't that interesting?

Speaker 1 (40:16):
The very thing Democrats mocked as paranoid election policing is
now the proof that more work could be done. Yet
Democrats are already saying this is only point zero one
percent of the voters. Yeah, but that's like finding a
few cockroaches in Florida. Technically it's a small amount, but
we don't just leave them. We eradicate the problem and

(40:37):
try to improve conditions. Texas election officials aren't panicking. They
are doing what good Republicans do. They're enforcing the rules.
They're giving every flagged person thirty days to prove their
citizen before they're booted off the list. Think of it
like a gym member audit. Just show me your ID
or get off the treadmill. And it's not just a

(40:58):
random purge. They're cross checking immigrant data, naturalization records, and
driver's license info. Basically, the voter roles are getting a
background check, and we are here for it. Here's the kicker.
Other states could be doing the same thing, but they're not.
Why Texas just reminded America that democracy works better when
the people actually running it are supposed to be here

(41:18):
joining us now. Campaign manager for Vote Yes on Prop sixteen,
Charlie Coley And so, Charlie, what's the big takeaway from
the revelation that we had thousands of non citizens on
the Texas voter rules.

Speaker 11 (41:29):
Well, the thing is, twenty seven hundred non citizens were
taken off of Texas voter rolls. Come election day, Texans
can send an overwhelming message that only US citizens should
be voting in all of Texas's elections. I mean, you
look at big city's around the country San Francisco, Chicago, Washington,
d C. They're all allowing non citizens to vote in

(41:50):
their local elections, and we need to absolutely make sure
that never comes to the great state of Texas.

Speaker 1 (41:56):
One thing that frustrates voters in jurisdictions with really good
elections infrastructure is that within the same state, if you
have one election supervisor who doesn't have great chain of
custody or doesn't have great verification that.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
Votes can be diluted.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Is this proposition that you've got before the Texas voter
is sufficient so that you clean up any of the
bad behavior if you're at the local level.

Speaker 11 (42:19):
Well, the good news is Texas recently passed a law
that allows the Attorney General to actually prosecute election fraud
in election relating cases. So our hope is that if
we pass a constitutional amendment that says only US citizens
can vote in Texas elections, it's going to be taken
seriously by the Attorney General's office.

Speaker 1 (42:38):
How should states have good election integrity hygiene.

Speaker 11 (42:44):
Well, I think like one of the most important things
to realize is being a US citizen is a privilege,
and voting is a privilege as well. So only US
citizens should be voting. Everyone else in this country, legally
or illegally, who's a non citizen is ultimately a guest.
You wouldn't go to someone else's house as a guest
and tell them how to rearrange their furniture, how to
conduct their affairs at their house, And same thing with

(43:07):
people visiting the United States. They shouldn't be able to
tell us who our leaders are. They should be able
to vote in our elections or participate in our politics.

Speaker 1 (43:14):
And if this is successful in Texas, is there any
reason it shouldn't be modeled around the country.

Speaker 11 (43:19):
Well, I'm thankful to report that fifteen states already have
an amendment that says only US citizens should be voting.
Texas would be the sixteenth. But ultimately, this should be
in every state. This should be this should be a
nationwide thing where only US citizens should vote in all elections.
I truly think this is something the founders of our
country overlooked. I think they didn't like. I didn't think

(43:43):
they comprehended that liberals of today would be saying we
need to have non citizens participating in local elections.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
Yeah, nobody else would do that. That is self destructive behavior.
What are the tactics that non citizens typically used to
get on the voterals?

Speaker 11 (44:00):
I mean, like what you see people do is they
go to a register, or they go to get a voter.
They go to get a driver's license, and they'll be
asked if they want to register to vote. That's one
thing that's fairly common. But ultimately, like the voter rules
need to be clean. We need to make sure only
US citizens are voting. And what you see a lot
of people make the argument and say, well, my kids

(44:20):
are you know, I'm a non citizen. My kids attend
a local school. I should be able to vote in
this school board election. But ultimately, like when you're a citizen,
you take a much longer term view on this country,
on our policy, on our politics, and you're gonna have
a much more responsible view on how you vote and
who you're voting for and the policies are choosing. So
that's why we feel only US citizens should be voting

(44:41):
our elections. We've pulled this. Eighty eight percent of Texans
believe that's the case as well. So I think we're
going to be successful on election day. But like we
need to get the word out the elections just around
the corner, and ultimately, if people show up to vote,
I do think common sense is going to prevail.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
And I am glad doing this in Texas because the
grand plan for Texas was to have a changing demographic
and as a consequence, flip Texas blue. And if you
flip Texas blue with a number of electoral votes, that
moves it just becomes very difficult for Republicans to win
national elections. President Trump reignited opportunities for even more Republicans

(45:21):
to win the Latino vote throughout Texas, and it's actually
become a really big contributor to the success that we've
seen from Republicans around the country. And so now I
think it's a great time to have that terrific election
integrity hygiene in Texas, have it copied around the country.
Charlie colly In, thanks for leading the campaign. We wish
you good luck as voters make their decision.

Speaker 11 (45:41):
Thanks for having me. I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
And coming up, we head to Indiana, where there is
a big decision right now. There are state lawmakers who
are pushing back against requests from the Trump political team
to go into special session and pass new maps. This
would be in direct response to what we're seeing in California.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Jornia.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
This is winner take all for control of the United
States House of Representatives. We've got a former state lawmaker
from Florida here to explain the pressures that may be
at play from the establishment. Anthony Sabatini's next Don't go anywhere.

Speaker 7 (46:18):
Hey, everyone, here's a question for you.

Speaker 8 (46:20):
What does Roku TV, Apple TV, and Amazon fireTV all
have in common? The answer is that all three platforms
offer you the ability to live stream One America News
Network from your Roku TV, Apple TV.

Speaker 7 (46:35):
Or Amazon Fire device.

Speaker 8 (46:37):
Simply go to the app store search out for AN,
then enjoy all the great programming offered by OEN, including
my show Real America.

Speaker 7 (46:50):
Hey did you know that?

Speaker 8 (46:51):
Video clips from my program Real America and all the
other talk shows offered by One America News Network are
available to you for free.

Speaker 7 (47:00):
On oan n dot com.

Speaker 8 (47:02):
You can also enjoy the latest in breaking news videos
by visiting oaan n dot com. Make sure you stay

(47:24):
how can they watch OAN live? The solution is simple.
It's a streaming platform called cloud tv. Now it's spelled
klowd TV. Simply go to cloudtv dot com and subscribe
to watch twenty four to seven live feeds of OAN.
The live package is only two dollars and fifty cents

(47:44):
per month for all you can watch. Again, simply go
to cloudtv dot com and do it today. Hey, did
you know that one America News Network has launched a
twenty four to seven Twitter like social replacement. We're calling
it free Talk forty five. So why is it branded

(48:05):
free Talk forty five. Well, free talk because you will
not be censored for expressing your opinion there, and forty
five because forty five is a really lucky number. So
join us at free Talk forty five and express yourself
with no fear of cancelation. Ever, there is a major

(48:31):
political showdown in the Midwest, Indiana specifically, and what happens
in Indiana over the next several days may dictate whether
the final two years of President Trump's time in office
are successful or filled with needless torment.

Speaker 2 (48:45):
From Democrats in Congress.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
The decision being cooked up in Indiana right now can
determine who controls the House of Representatives for years to come.

Speaker 2 (48:53):
Here's how all of it happened.

Speaker 1 (48:54):
The Texas Legislature agreed to redraw their congressional maps that
gave Republicans more advantage, and that makes total sense. Texas
is growing rapidly and they need to adjust representation to
fit within shifting populations. Also, it's at the fault of
the Texas Legislature that Latino voters are moving Republican in
a big way. What didn't make sense was what happened next.

(49:17):
In California, Governor Gavin Newsom, who wants to be president
more than anything on earth, called for a special election
in the state. It's set for Tuesday. That election will
allow California to just wipe five Republican seats off the map,
and we don't see much stopping that train. Each action
must have an equal and opposite reaction. It's the law
of physics and often politics. So enter Indiana. Indiana already

(49:42):
sends a GOP majority team to Washington, seven Republicans, two Democrats,
but the Trump team sees an opportunity redraw the maps
and that seven to two could go to a shiny
nine to oh. Governor Mike Bron called for a special
session on November third to revise congressional boundaries. He frames
it as per tw acting Hoosier's voice, ensuring fair representation.

(50:03):
Indiana Senator Jim Banks told our program, this is a
good idea.

Speaker 12 (50:06):
Danna is a very Republican state. We have nine congressional seats,
seven Republicans and two Democrats, so you could fairly draw
the districts in Indiana to end up with a nine
to zero Republican maps. I think the evidence in front
of us, and my letter to Secretary Lutnik yesterday justifies
the Indiana Legislature redrawing those maps.

Speaker 1 (50:27):
Despite the GOP super majority in the Indiana Legislature, the
votes aren't there as of now. That's the public reporting.
Senator Republicans are apparently not all biting. This is a mistake.

Speaker 2 (50:38):
According to Indiana Congressman Marlon Stutzman.

Speaker 13 (50:41):
In Indiana, we're a strong conservative state. We've had good governance,
you know, for the last couple of decades. But now
you have states like California, Illinois, they're squeezing out all
the Republican districts in those states. They all have an
advantage because they count illegal in those states. They help
the non citizens in those so they probably have like
five or six extra districts that they shouldn't even have,

(51:04):
and so there's an imbalance. And that's why I'm supporting this.

Speaker 1 (51:09):
The immense opportunity and the state's Republican hesitance has ignited
a political campaign to convince Republican Indiana senators to start
fighting fire with fire. President Trump's twenty twenty four campaign
manager Chris Losovita has engaged in the pressure campaign to
flip Indiana Republican Senate votes.

Speaker 2 (51:27):
Now the real fun begins, he posted on social media.
Somewhat ominously.

Speaker 1 (51:32):
Operatives are signaling that if Indiana Republicans don't act, there
could be consequences for the state's relationship with the National
Republican Party. Keep in mind of the fifty members of
the Indiana Senate, forty a Republican, it's time they grow
a spine and do what needs to be done.

Speaker 2 (51:47):
Joining us now, someone certainly with a spine.

Speaker 1 (51:49):
County commissioner from Lake County, a former member of the
Florida Legislature in the Florida State House of Representatives, Anthony Sabatini.
Anthony I saw this. I thought of you because so often,
you know that you have called out the archetype of
these weak Republicans in state legislatures who just do not
know what time it is.

Speaker 2 (52:08):
What would be your message to Indiana lawmakers.

Speaker 6 (52:11):
Well, my message to them is stop being cowards and
do the right thing. But my message to every Republican
in the country from the RNC, you know RNC Chairman
Joe Bruders or rfu our Chairman Evan Powers, every single
Republican nationwhy needs to be on deck for this? This
is literally, I think you outlined it correctly, the biggest
fight facing the Republican Party today.

Speaker 14 (52:31):
It could come down to one or two seats.

Speaker 6 (52:33):
Going into the midterms, and everybody should be on a
pressure campaign, calls, text, we should be on the ground
knocking doors. You know, just like you, Matt, I was
a state legislator that worked on redistricting. I've done these
maps and we had Let's be real, we've had much
harder times because we didn't have the Supreme Court behind
us at the time.

Speaker 14 (52:50):
At the state or the federal level. These guys have
it made.

Speaker 6 (52:53):
The entire Voting Rights Act is about to be completely reformed.

Speaker 14 (52:56):
They have everything lined up. There's no excuse.

Speaker 6 (52:59):
Why should they shouldn't be doing this, doing the easy
thing and hitting this softball which is being pitched to them.
So my message to all Republicans and let's all get
on board and really focus. This is the signal, not noise.
We all should be focused on it. Thank you for
outlining it.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
Yeah, I have my own suspicions, but why do you
think they're not doing it?

Speaker 14 (53:19):
I think it's the good old boy system.

Speaker 6 (53:21):
I think they're in bed with some of these Democrats
and some of the donors connected to the Democrats who
would be disadvantaged by a move this bold. And let's
be real, some of these guys have been around so long.
They're not on board with the new Republican Party, which
of course I would describe is the Bold Republican Party,
the real Republican Party. They're used to the good old
boy system, and they're also not used to the amount

(53:41):
of scrutiny that state politics is now getting. You know,
people used to just not care about state and local politics,
but now that people see it's importance in sort of
because of shows like your own, we're putting focus on
these guys. They're slow to react, so I think they're
going to do the right thing if we put enough
pressure on them. But we got to keep that sustained
effort on them.

Speaker 1 (54:00):
And what would be the tactics that you've seen most
successful in getting Republicans and state legislatures to do what
is the right thing to do after all other options
have been exhausted.

Speaker 6 (54:12):
The number one thing I think is educating their own voters.
So they're not getting enough pressure from their organic voters.
So the national scene needs to put pressure on their
own voters, these senators, voters around Indiana to say, hey,
you've got a state senator that has enough power to
save the country and they're not using it. Please call them.
So it's really it's a two step movement. It's putting

(54:33):
pressure on Indiana voters to then turn around and put
pressure on Indiana elected officials to fix the issue.

Speaker 1 (54:40):
There are a number of state capitals where the establishment
really does still have substantial control. I mean, we look
at the wrangling for power in Texas as one example.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
I've had some sources.

Speaker 1 (54:52):
Tell me that the Mitch Daniels Mike Pence organizations have
really told the senators that they will be the protectors
of those folks if they stick to the status quo
rather than making the change the Trump administration is asking for.
You know what type of protection can like the likes

(55:13):
of Mitch Daniels and Mike Pence even provide in today's
Republican party.

Speaker 6 (55:18):
I think if the Republican national sitat is not focused
on this enough, then I think sadly losers like Mitch
Daniels and Pence can actually provide a little bit of
you know, umbrella style of protection, because they'll just say, oh, no,
these guys are doing a great thing, blah blah blah.
But if enough power comes down at the grassroots level,
at the national level, then guys like you know, Pence

(55:39):
and Mitch Daniels are obviously will be seen as a
joke in their protection. I mean, honestly, they're so cowardly
they'll back off. They simply won't fight back. But I
think you're right.

Speaker 14 (55:47):
I think right now they'res Allney centers. Just blow it off.

Speaker 6 (55:50):
We'd rather see Trump and the Republicans at the national
level fail and give in and just protect you know,
the old guard. It's all ego with these guys, and
so that's their plan for now. But I'm totally convinced
that we can get this done. We just got to
get total focus on it right now in educating the voters.

Speaker 1 (56:07):
Before I let you go, Commissioner, I know you're a
slash spending style Republican and there are probably elements of
the shutdown that you'd like to see unlock the potential
of the Trump administration to reduce spending. But how are you,
as a county commissioner preparing for the potential effects of
a long shutdown at the hands of Chuck Schumer.

Speaker 6 (56:28):
Honestly, we're all do We're all the whiteboard on that one,
because what the Democrats have done is really hurt our
county and state at so many levels that we're still
trying to figure it out. I mean, obviously people are
really wondering what to do, and we.

Speaker 14 (56:42):
Have some ideas.

Speaker 6 (56:43):
You know, we have some reserves, and I think the
state will obviously help some of our localities with taking
action to protect those lives that the Democrats go further
with this, But honestly, there's not really a clear answer.
They could the Democrats could seriously cripple the economy, and
their psychotic hatred to Donald Trump might be than to
do it.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Sadly, jeez, jeez, that would be that would be a
terrible tragedy. Lake County Commissioner former state Representative Anthony Sabatini

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
