Okay.
Summer's coming y'all.
It is the end of May and I'mhearing a lot of summer body hot

girl summer talk.
If you know me at all.
You've been around for a while.
You know what I really wannatalk about is how to just feel
confident in a bathing suit inthe body that you have now, and
maybe we'll talk about that nextweek.
But I also know.
There are a lot of women whowanna lose 10 pounds this
summer.
And so I respect that.
I respect that goal, and I alsoknow that my clients, my

audience, you guys are busy andsummer, even though there are
different schedules and kids areoff school.
It almost makes it harder whenthere's less routine.
Kids at home travel, all thethings.
So I'm just gonna be real withyou.
If I wanted to lose 10 poundsthis summer and I only had 20
minutes a day, I'm gonna tellyou exactly what I would do.

No fluff, no calorie counting,no restrictions, playbook.
Okay?
Just gonna give you simplestrategies that actually work,
that work with your lifestyle,not against it.
And here's the kicker.
It's not just about losingweight.
It is about feeling lit up inyour body, being proud of how
you show up, owning yourstrength, and doing it in a way

that doesn't burn you or stressyou The F out.
Okay, let's go.
here's the thing, most women getwrong in May.
They say, I'll start whenschool's out.
I'll wait until after thisvacation.
I'll wait until things, settledown in September.
I'll just do more walks and eatcleaner.
It'll be easier to walk when theweather is better.
But summer is pretty much hereand what you do now compounds In

eight weeks, you could belooking back thinking, dang, I
really showed up for myself.
Not perfectly, but consistently.
And the payoff is confidence,energy, momentum, body change
that carries you through thewhole summer.
And the good news is you do notneed a perfect schedule, but you
do need an intelligent one,somewhat strategic one.
So.

If I or one of my clients wantedto lose 10 pounds and I feel
amazing this summer, here'sexactly what I would do.
Number one, I would strengthtrain three to four times a week
with intention, not randomPinterest or YouTube workouts,
not 60 or 75 minutes a day, just30 minutes of well programmed
strength training that buildslean muscle and stokes your
metabolism.
20 minutes.

If I only had 20 minutes, numbertwo, I would walk more, but I
would stop pretending.
That walking is a plan, and I'msorry if you feel a little bit
called out.
Walking is a beautiful supporttool.
Walking is beautiful for ourmobility, our metabolism, our
mental health, but it is notyour main character.
Strength training is your maincharacter if you want to lose
body fat.

Number three, rewire my mindsetaround food and my body.
I would stop telling myself thatI'm so bad for eating chips.
I would stop negotiating withmyself every single day about
whether I have time to work outor was going to.
Instead, I would shift to somephrases like this, some thoughts
like this, and when you think athought enough, it becomes a

belief.
I'm someone who keeps promisesto myself.""I move because it
feels good.
I can eat what I want, and Ichoose what actually nourishes
me." This right here, that isthe mindset of a woman who does
not ever need another diet.
She's finally free.
I experienced this.
I've had countless clientsexperience this.
The ease that you step into whenyou start to step into the

identity of the woman whobelieves these things, and you
will not believe these thingsuntil you practice thinking
them, even when it doesn't quitefeel real yet.
let me tell you about my client.
We'll just call her C.
I love client C.
She is one of my longest timeclients.
I love, love, love, love her,and.
This morning she sent us a listof wins, a beautiful list of

wins.
I am all about celebrating yourwins.
I ask all of our clients and allof our programs We ran strongher
last week, Summer60's coming up,and muscles and mindset.
I want you to share your wins,if not to us, at least to
yourself, but there's power insharing it with someone else.
My client c knows this.
So she sent, her coach and I ahuge list of wins this morning,
and I was just like, almost totears reading it.

And one of the things she said,which made me laugh was, how the
f am I not craving a giant bowlof buttery pasta anymore?" Her
mind was blown that she justdoesn't have those cravings and
there's a whole, like she's beenthrough our whole muscles and
mindset 10 step nutritionmethod.
But this is a woman, I'm tellingyou this because this is a woman

who used to white knuckle itevery summer.
She just came back from PalmSprings, lost weight while she
was away in Palm Springs on herperiod, still had food, also did
her workouts.
And now she's wearing theshorts.
She's eating ice cream with herkids.
She's doing 25 minute workoutsand crushing her goals.
Her workouts are never more than39 minutes.

There's no obsession.
There is no shame.
She's just experiencing results.

You do not need more time.
Your life is what it is.
It's not probably going tochange a lot this summer.
You do not need to overhaul yourlife.
Maybe you do a little bit, butwe're not gonna focus on that
right now.
You also don't need to beextremely more disciplined, more

motivated, or perfect.
You do just need a system thatworks for you in your life, one
that respects your time, yourenergy, your season of life.
This is your full season of liferight now.
One that builds strength in yourbody and trust in yourself.
