Every mompreneur knows the feeling—you're exhausted, uncertain about your next step, and perhaps a little frustrated that your business isn't growing as quickly as you'd hoped. If that's you right now, you're in exactly the right place.

This heartfelt conversation goes straight to the core of what many Christian women entrepreneurs struggle with: the emotional rollercoaster of building a business while raising little ones. Those feelings of overwhelm or irritation? They're completely normal. God gave us emotions to help us understand what's happening within us—the key is not allowing them to become permanent residents in our hearts.

The central message weaves together a beautiful paradox that every faith-driven business owner needs to embrace: keep going, yet stay still. Continue taking faithful action even when you're afraid or uncertain, while simultaneously creating space for quiet communion with God. This delicate balance forms the foundation of sustainable, purpose-driven entrepreneurship. When you don't know what's next, simply continue doing the last thing God instructed until new direction comes.

For the ambitious mompreneur, trusting God's timing often becomes the greatest challenge. When progress feels painfully slow, remember the promise that He works all things for your good and His glory. Your fears and doubts—while very real—cannot compare to God's power and faithfulness. As believers, we have the incredible gift of self-control through the Holy Spirit, allowing us to be guided by our faith rather than our fluctuating emotions.

Take a moment today to identify one small step toward your calling. Is there something God already asked you to do that you've been avoiding? Or perhaps something you abandoned because it wasn't producing results quickly enough? Return to it with renewed dedication, remembering that you're exactly where you're meant to be because God placed you there. He remains faithful in every season, especially the challenging ones. Keep going, dear friend—you weren't built for comfort, but for purpose.

Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hey friends, welcome to the Peaceful Mompreneur.
This episode I'm really excitedabout because I'm going to talk
directly to you.
If you are feeling tired, unsure, bored, overwhelmed or
just irritated and annoyed thatthings are not happening at the
pace that you want them to, Itotally understand that feeling.
This is the place to be.

(00:22):
If you are a mom raisinglittles and trying to run a
business without losing yourmind and ensuring that your
faith and your foundation is onJesus Christ, I am excited that
you are here, my friend.
So, like I said, I'm going tobe talking to you.
If you are that mompreneur whois tired and uncertain or
overwhelmed on your journey istired and uncertain or

(00:50):
overwhelmed on your journey.
So these feelings while wedon't like them, they're totally
normal and it's okay to feelthem.
God created emotions andfeelings and we are allowed to
feel them.
We are not allowed to sit inthem, live in them, stay there
forever, but having them is goodand being able to figure out
what exactly is going on with usand why we're feeling like that
, that's a big deal.
That's why God gave those to us, so that we can understand

(01:14):
what's going on in our mindsthis fear, anxiety or worry or
uncertainty or irritation, as Ioften have.
It comes in more often than Ithink that we would like, right?
If you're like me, then it ishappening more to you than you'd
like as well.
So this is just the way that itis, and I have felt like this

(01:37):
recently and I've been workingthrough it, and so I just felt
like you know, the Lord likes meto talk about stuff that's
going on with me, because I feellike it's often going on with
you, because, my friend, I amright here in this journey with
you, trying to raise littlepeople, little person, build my
business, encourage others andjust make sure that my
foundation is on Jesus, right?

(01:58):
So here we are together.
So, if you're in that boat andyou're wondering, like, what is
this thing that God has calledme to, like, why am I doing this
?
Remember, this is this calling.
You didn't make it up.
The thing that God is askingyou to do.
It is from God himself.
So, my friend, I want you tokeep going, and that is the

(02:21):
theme of this episode is to keepgoing, even when all of the
emotions are there.
That God has called you there, god has called you here at this
moment and God has placed you inyour season, in this time, with
your vision and purpose, for areason, so be encouraged by that
and let him lead you and guideyou.

(02:43):
That does not mean do literallyeverything you can think of,
because that's not right either.
We need to rest in the Lord andtrust that he is leading and
guiding us, but remember whathe's called you to do and where
you are.
You know as well as I, ifyou've been following the Lord,
that he is trustworthy andfaithful.

(03:05):
He is so strong when we areweak and uncertain.
Which happens, which happens.
So we're going to talk aboutlet's.
Let's talk about teaching likethe balance between, like moving
forward and like keeping going, like I was saying, and resting
in God's timing.
Keep going.
It means taking action in faith, even when it's hard, when it's

(03:29):
scary, if you don't really knowwhere you're headed or what's
going on.
I want you to keep doing thelast thing that he told you to
do.
I often find myself thinkingwhere are we going?
What are we doing?
What do I need to do?
And if that's you, because Ihave to remind myself of this,
is I need to keep doing the lastthing he said was right.

(03:49):
Keep doing that, if you've notgotten new instructions, keep
doing the thing that you've beendoing.
And also, the other part ofthis keep going is this stay
still.
And I know that soundscounterintuitive, right, keep
going, stay still.
They sound like differentthings, but here they are.
They can work together.

(04:15):
Staying still means making sureyou're making that time to spend
with God, just you and Him,whatever that looks like 10
minutes, 20 minutes, two hoursbut if you have little people,
it ain't two hours.
We all know that, right?
So stay still and rest in God'speace.
Trust his timing and know that, even if it's irritating that
you don't know and that you'reannoyed that things aren't
moving as fast as you want themto, that God's timing is perfect

(04:37):
.
He wants to do it at the timethat he knows is best, right.
We're told that he works allthings out for your good, for
yeah, for our good and for hisglory.
So when things aren't going theway you wanted or the way you
expected, just remember thatpromise.
That promise gets thrown arounda lot because, well, it's

(04:58):
freaking good, right?
So just remember in that, remain in that and stay still in
that.
All of our fears, all of ouranxious thoughts and our
uncertainty and all of thosethings.
They are worthless compared toGod's power and His promises,
and sometimes we just have toremind ourselves of that, even

(05:19):
when we aren't really feeling it.
We just say, lord, I trust youbecause you are who you say you
are, and I know you have beeneverything you've ever told me
you are, and I can look back onthose promises that you have
told me and so our feelings, allof them that are good, that are
god, do not dictate ourdecisions.

(05:44):
Christ and your, yourfaithfulness in him and the
leading of the holy spirit andknowing what, the next right
thing to do, that is whatdictates your decisions.
We, as christians, areself-controlled.
It's one of the fruits of thespirit that god has given us.
Praise the lord, for.
It's one of the fruits of thespirit that God has given us.
Praise the Lord for the HolySpirit and the fruits of the

(06:04):
spirit, because, if not be awild mess over here.
So, and I'm sure with everybodyright.
So like, one of the fruits ofthe spirit is, excuse me, is
self-control, and so we are tocontrol ourselves the way it
says, and that means ourfeelings and our actions.
So we're not dictated by ourfeelings, we are dictated by

(06:29):
what we know.
Christ's mission for us is, evenif we don't know the entire
picture, which we almost neverdo so trusting him and following
after him.
This is the encouragement toyou.
Do it anyway, keep steppingforward, despite your fears and
your doubts.
God is faithful even when we'renot.

(06:53):
Ask God to show you what to do,where to go, and if you're
doing that, stay still part.
You'll have the time to spendwith him and figure out what
that looks like, where you'regoing and what to do.
And maybe you won't know a nextstep because maybe you're still
in the step previous, or maybeyou're trying to go too fast.

(07:14):
Guilty, right here, 100% guilty, always guilty of that.
And so just be reminded.
Remind yourself, look through ajournal, talk to a friend, talk
to your spouse, somebody whoknows you, loves you and knows,
and you know what that last stepwas.
Where were you supposed, whatwere you supposed to be doing?

(07:37):
And do that supposed to bedoing and do that thing.
God is faithful in every season, especially the hard ones,
especially the ones where youdon't know where you're going,
you're irritated that thingsaren't moving along.
Bring all of those feelings tothe Lord and give them to him,
then trust he is going to befaithful.
Keep, keep going, my friend.

(08:00):
You are where you are becauseGod called you there.
God called you there, youdidn't make this up.
Keep focusing on him and movingforward in faith, resting in
his timing.
So let me ask you, what is onesmall step today that you can

(08:23):
take towards your calling, evenif you don't feel ready?
Is there something that theLord has already asked you to do
that you're not doing?
Is there something you need tobe continuing to do and you kind
of just gave it up because youdidn't feel like it was working
the way.
You expected it to Go back andstart doing that thing.
And if you're doing the things, keep going, my friend, be

(08:44):
encouraged that we are not leftby the Lord.
He is always with us and he isgoing to be with you right now,
in this season too.
Now, this was short and sweetand I hope that it lifted you up
, because I know this is anencouragement that I need, and I
hope that you are lifted up byit too.
So, my friend, I will talk toyou next week.

(09:05):
Thank you so much for beingpart of the peaceful mompreneur
community.
Bye, ladies.
