Send us a text

Ever had one of those aha moments where you realize a small tweak could revolutionize how you work? That was me this morning, pondering the future of real estate technology. Picture a world where updating your database is as simple as sending a text. Intrigued? I was.

On my journey as a real estate coach, I've been experimenting with the latest in AI tech and discovering how these advancements can streamline processes for agents. It’s all about finding ways to minimize the time spent on administrative tasks, allowing for more focus on connecting with clients. It’s an exciting time as we transition from traditional systems to AI-driven solutions that are both smart and user-friendly.

In today's episode, we're exploring how AI agents, powered by ChatGPT, could soon be your new best friend. Imagine whispering your updates to your CRM via WhatsApp and watching it work magic behind the scenes—scheduling, emailing, and even adding follow-up reminders. This isn't science fiction; it’s just around the corner!

Alexa Rosario (00:00):
You guys.
I just went on a probably fiveday binge of an insane amount of
content, learning how to uselike what's called AI agents,
which is outside of chat GPT butpowered by chat GPT, right, so
think of this as like a zap onsteroids.
It crosses over into, likesoftware development and all

(00:21):
these other things.
I'm not going to get supertechnical.
What I want to share with youtoday, though, is that I believe
that the future that isprobably only, let's say, three
to six months away that we'regoing to start seeing is the
ability to interact and updateyour database through text.
So one of the things that a lotof our agents have really
struggled with in terms of, likemanaging their database and

(00:43):
doing all the administrativework is having to log in, having
to go find the contact and doall the things right, and so our
agents end up being like okay, well, let me hire a VA, but then
the VAs that they hire, theyare not trained properly, they
don't have all the resources, they don't think the way that
you do, and so there's all thesetraining challenges, and agents
don't want to slow down to haveto train that VA.

(01:04):
They want to be able to movefaster with a virtual assistant
that already knows what to do,and so I believe that the future
is going to be communicatingwith your AI VA through text
message whether that's throughlike a Slack or regular text or
WhatsApp or whatever and beingable to update your database.
Now, ai agents are not justthere to give you information,

(01:26):
but they can actually triggeractions in the background.
So things like drafting emails, scheduling appointments on your
calendar, reaching out topeople, like doing all these
random things, and so I thinkabout this in terms of being
able to say like hey, I just hada meeting with John Smith.
He has three kids, a dog.
They're going to Croatia inJune, add a note in my CRM,

(01:49):
create a task to follow up inMarch and send a handwritten
note right.
And so being able to do thingswhere it's going to draft all of
that, right.
And so even being able to say, okay, yes, I approve the email,
send that out.
Yes, I approve the handwrittennote, send that out right.

(02:09):
So being able to do that levelof automation, I truly believe,
is the future.
That is not that far off, but Ithink that we're going to start
to see that agents who resisttechnology are going to have to
move so much slower than theagents who are embracing
technology.
So the way that I think aboutthis, in terms of kind of our
roadmap and the way that we'redeveloping, is focusing on using
Orbit as sort of the coreplatform that everything
operates off of, but then ourfunnels being kind of the front

(02:32):
facing of your business, right?
So that's what the client getsto see all the way from the
front end.
They visit your site, they fillout the forms, all of those
things.
Then On the back end, ouragents don't have to log in as
often.
Right, like, yes, you're stillgoing to log into the system.
If you have the AI draft anemail newsletter for you, you're
going to want to log in andlook at that newsletter before

(02:53):
it sends out.
When you're making your phonecalls every day, right, like,
you're going to want to log inand use it for that.
You're going to want to stillmanage your inbox and respond to
people inside of the app, butbeing able to do it in a way
that is either a like what'scalled a deep link.
So when the AI texts you backhey, call this person you just
tap on the thing and it opensthe contact in the app and it

(03:14):
just you just dial directlythrough there, rather than
having to go and log in and thenfind the contact and then dial
and so on and so forth.
Like we're going to see thatthis is is gonna be the time
where agents who are notembracing technology are gonna
fall so far behind and theyliterally will not be able to
catch up, and so I am 100%committed to building a platform

(03:37):
that empowers solo agents andreally highly leveraged small
teams who want to be reallyeffective with their
communication.
They wanna be that high tech, high touch, right, and the high
tech part of it should not feellike high tech, right.
That is the future oftechnology.
Just like when you talk to yourAlexa which it was my name first

(03:58):
, so or when you talk to Siri,or when you talk to you know
whatever, when you interact withAI, being able to have a
texting conversation, wherethere's a lot of advanced
technology that's happening onthe back end, but you don't need
to be the one to know how to dothat, and so, ideally, what we
want to build up to is the factthat we can give an agent an
account in orbit that becomeskind of the brain of their

(04:20):
business, but they're able tocommunicate with the brain from
just their text messages and, like I said, that doesn't mean
that they'll never have to login.
Maybe one day we'll get there, but for the time being, that it
eliminates the need to do a lotof those things.
Right, you can just communicatewith it over text and you'll be
able to add tags, triggerautomations, send handwritten
notes, schedule appointments, add people to follow up

(04:41):
sequences, add notes, log calls, all of those things.
Add people to follow-upsequences, add notes, log calls,
all of those things.
So you're no longer having tolike spend all this
administrative time goingthrough and like managing your
database.
Right, like you wanna movefaster, we wanna move faster
with you, and so I'm like superexcited about this.
I'm not even joking when I tellyou that I've spent so much time

(05:02):
, like literally on Saturday Ispent, I think, 13 hours binging
content about all thepossibilities of this, and so
now it's a matter of figuringout kind of the implementation
of it.
But that is really where wewant to go with this right, like
we've done a great job with thefunnels and helping our agents
with the front facing of theirbusiness, making sure that
client onboarding is effective.
We're doing our ad experimentwith lead generation, and now

(05:26):
it's how do we make it betterand easier for the agents so
that you guys and myself right, because a lot of this comes from
my own frustration I hatelogging in and having to do all
the things in terms of, like, updating the CRM.
When I finish a networkingevent, I want to be able to send
a picture of the business cardsto the AI, have it scanned and

(05:46):
uploaded with a tag added, theautomations triggered in the
system, without me having to doeverything right.
So that is the future of thisand I cannot wait until we can
deliver this to you.
I have, like, so many otherideas of how we can implement
this and I just wanted to sharethat with you because I think
this, as, like technology, isgoing to get easier.
It's going to be moreintegrated into the things we're

(06:07):
already doing, rather thansomething that's separate.
So that is the episode fortoday.
I just was inspired to sharethat with you and I'm really
excited about where this isgoing and I think that there's
so much opportunity and, if youstick with us, we're going to be
right on the front end of itand, as always, please make sure
that you join our dailydiscussion in the Business
