truly fulfilled.
That all changed when Iexperienced a few miracles, met
some incredible teachers and hada major wake-up call that
forced me to shift my entireperspective.
And had a major wake-up callthat forced me to shift my

(01:35):
who needs a little inspirationtoday.
Let's do this together.
Have you ever felt stuck inpatterns that just don't serve
you anymore?
Have you ever planted seedsthat just didn't grow?
Do you ever sense that you'reon the edge of something greater
, but you're not sure how tomove forward?

(01:57):
Well, I've got somethingincredible to share with you.
This is a framework thatactually has the power to shift
your life in some ways that younever even imagined before.
Change isn't just a word.
To me, it's a roadmap fortransformation, and in this
episode, you're going to havesome tools to help you decide

(02:22):
whether you're ready for achange.
Maybe choose something that youwould like to change, narrow
down your process of thinking.
It's going to give you aframework with some guiding
questions, practices likeaffirmations and a meditation,
and end with an invitation foryou to plant your seed by

(02:44):
digging a little bit deeper withme in my Change Masterclass,
which is coming end of March andyou'll get an update on that
next week.
So I'm sitting and looking outover my garden and I'm so
grateful because I have a gardenfor the first time in the
wintertime.
We're in South Carolina.
A year ago it was just dirt andnow it's like magic.

(03:07):
There's broccoli coming up andparsley and kale and rosemary
out front, and my friend gave mea basil plant and I'm just so
excited and no, this isn't goingto be about gardening, but it's
sort of going to be aboutgardening your life.
Okay, because when I looked atthe garden, I thought, yeah, I

(03:28):
didn't know what was going tocome up, what wasn't going to
come up.
I made the mistake of plantingsome things at the wrong time.
At the end it was too late inthe season, so I had beautiful
plants that never made zucchinior squash.
I was a little disappointed andmy lesson with that was I
planted the wrong season, itwasn't the right time, and I

(03:49):
started to think this is likechange in our lives.
Okay, so stay with me on this, right?
So just because you don't seethe results you want doesn't
mean that you should always bediscouraged.
There's questions you could beasking yourself why do I want

(04:12):
this change.
In one of my groups, thisbrilliant coach, amy, actually
brought up the practice that wedid in cognitive coaching and it
was called the five whys.
Did in cognitive coaching andit was called the five whys and
you just ask yourself a questionlike why do I want this change?
And then answer it, and thenanswer that with a why and then

(04:32):
answer that one, and when you doit five times, it can be a
completely transformationalexperience as to why you really
want the change.
So I would suggest you startwith something like that to make
sure that you're choosing thechange, and it can be a small
change or a large change.

(04:52):
It is March and it is the seasonof new beginnings and sprouting
and new growth.
And it's spring and last weekwe spent time letting go of a
lot of things that were in ourway due to the upcoming new moon
, which happened last week, andnow it's time for us to plant.
So we want to make sure, justlike I did with my garden.

(05:17):
What are the conditions?
Is it the right season for meto be doing this change?
Did I cultivate by having theright soil in my garden?
Do I need to get some weedscleared out, which hopefully, I
did some of that last week, andthe week before I did, I
actually wrote mine out andburnt the piece of paper and

(05:39):
flushed the ashes right down thetoilet and it felt fantastic.
If you've done the work andyou've cleared some things, then
just think, because more weedswill come up.
Here's what I know for sure.
When you're on the path toauthenticity, when you're on
your path to your highest self, you're going to be going along

(06:00):
just fine and all of a sudden, something's going to come up and
say You're going to be goingalong just fine and all of a
sudden, something's going tocome up and say except, you
didn't clear this yet, so it'sAFGO, another freaking growth
opportunity.
And you've got the opportunityto clear that at this level now.
So don't be discouraged if itdoesn't happen right away and if
you have more internal work todo, okay, work to do Okay.

(06:23):
Another question that you can beasking yourself is am I flowing
with life no-transcript thingsa little bit more?
And I think about this becauseI look at my plants and I look

(06:44):
how some of them turned around alittle bit and faced a
different way, and some werenext to big plants so they had
to grow a different directionand I thought am I adapting?
I mean, plants work within theconfines of nature.
They adapt, they recover.
There's a period of drought, then they recover again and they
always reach toward the sun.

(07:05):
So am I reaching towards thesun with this change?
And am I saying as an excusethat things have to be
absolutely perfect before Istart planting the seed in my
garden?
Because that my friends, friends and I've done this
plenty of times?

(07:25):
You wouldn't be listening tothis podcast if the right time
is defined, as everything wasperfect in my life and I was
perfectly prepared because Iknew everything there was to
know about podcasting before Istarted.
No, it wasn't, it just feltlike the right time and I'm
learning as much as I can.

(07:46):
So sometimes it can be anexcuse for your perfectionistic
self to just say, no, you're notgoing to do it because you're
not ready, because you're afraidthat it's not going to be
perfect, because you're afraidthat you're going to fail, that
the seed's not going to come up.
I say plant that seed, takecare of it as best you can and

(08:08):
just start some daily practicesto take care of it, to nourish
it, to nurture it.
So are you feeling your dreams?
Are you feeding your dreams?
Are you feeding this with dailypractices?
So daily practices can looklike gratitude.

(08:30):
They can look like justawareness, like I couldn't wait
as soon as things startedsprouting, and I wasn't even
sure by the time they sproutedwhere I had planted what.
I wasn't completely organizedwith this process and I'll admit
I forgot where I planted somethings.
And things would come up and itwould be like, oh my gosh, I

(08:50):
don't know what it is, butsomething sprouted up and I
would be sending pictures to mykids just so excited.
And I celebrated every singlestep of the way.
I didn't just wait till monthsin.
I see broccoli and we're goingto have some for dinner,
probably tonight, pretty, prettyexcited about that.
So I didn't wait for that.

(09:11):
I celebrated the sprout, Icelebrated the fact that they
made it through a snow whichdoesn't happen very often here
in South Carolina and I noticedevery little thing that was
going on with them every day.
I talked to them and I justwent down just for a moment and
said hey, and checked in, and Iknow it sounds silly.
I also fed them good fertilizer.

(09:31):
But so my question is whenyou're making a change, are you
feeding your soul?
Because change at the soullevel is going to create change
at the physical level.
Change at the soul levelcreates the change externally.

(09:57):
If you've not made the shiftinside, I would say go back in
and do the work, because whatcomes out is going to be an
expression of what is inside.
It's a good practice to learnhow to deal with doubts.

(10:20):
Doubts are going to happen andI think Baron Baptiste said
doubt your doubts.
My teacher said doubt yourself, doubt God, because when you're
divinely guided to do somethingand you're expressing yourself
and you're doubting yourself, you are in essence doubting God.
So here are some affirmations, followed by a very short guided

(10:46):
meditation before we close outtoday, and I hope you'll find
these valuable.
I let go of what no longerserves me and I make space for
my new growth.
I remain open to the ease andthe flow of change.
My mind is filled with ideasfor positive changes in my life.

(11:12):
My energy is aligned with love, joy and purpose.
I nourish my dreams with care, patience and belief.
I give thanks for every step ofmy journey.
I learn to embrace change,Grace change, with an open heart

(11:34):
and an open mind.
Okay, if you want you can sitfor just a moment in this quiet
meditation.
So I would invite you to take acouple deep breaths in, take a
deep breath in and hold at thetop and then release it out

(12:03):
slowly through your nose, feeling your body relax.
A breath in, feel up gently, hold it at the top and exhale
through your nose, letting thesewaves of calm just come over
you, letting go of your day.
You don't have to do anythingright now.

(12:26):
Another deep breath in, fillingup with the light and a slow
breath out through your nose, letting go of any remaining
tension or stress.
I want you to be aware of thelight and imagine that light, if

(12:51):
you will, pouring in throughthe top of your head, swirling
around your brain, feeling yourpalms get soft and the soles of
your feet get soft, and let thatlight come behind your eyes and
into your ears and allow thatlight down your throat, let it

(13:19):
fill your heart and swirl aroundyour heart and radiate it out.
Radiate that beautiful love out360.
And then let that light comedown through your stomach and
through your hips and down yourlegs, let it swirl around your

(13:41):
knees and your ankles and outthrough the soles of your feet
and just be with this for amoment the part of you that is
and always will be and alwayshas been, is and always will be
and always has been.
So picture yourself in a gardenand it's a beautiful, beautiful

(14:04):
spring day, much like the daywe're having here today, and
there's birds singing and I canhear trees rustling with the
leaves.
I can feel the groundunderneath my feet.
In your hand, you hold a smallbut powerful seed.

(14:32):
This seed represents the changeyou're ready to embrace.
You dig a small hole in therich, nourishing soil and gently
place the seed inside, as youcover it with earth.
You set your intention, something you wish to grow in

(14:52):
your life.
Maybe it's more peace, maybeconfidence, maybe clarity.
Now you can imagine the raingently falling, giving it just
the right amount of water, thesun shining down, giving just
the right amount of energy.
And even though we don't seeanything on the surface for a

(15:14):
while we don't see anything onthe surface for a while that
seed you planted is beginning togrow.
This is your journey.
Growth takes time, but with theright care, you too are going
to blossom and bloom.
Take another deep breath in andout, and, when you're ready,

(15:42):
gently open your eyes.
I hope this practice helps youfeel more grounded and ready for
the journey ahead, and ifyou're starting to feel inspired
