Priot to their performance at ALT 104.5 Winter Jawn, Judah and Brian aka Judah & the Lion talked with Jessie and Josh about their new album, their upcoming tour int he spring, their dope outfits for the day, and if they think the Eagles will make it to the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
All right, Oh it has been since we've seen them.
When was the last one? It's been a while.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
But were you just in Philly for a headline show
in the fall. But we're one of these shows. I
think we were saying eighteen or nineteen. Yeah, the Winner
John was a while ago.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Yeah, so we have a new album. Damn, Yo, you
went through the Ringer or like, I can't even seven
stages of grief. I always think five.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
What's it like for you?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
I guess after you let the album release the album?
What was it like for you for the first time
performing those songs.

Speaker 3 (00:52):
That like makes everything makes sense?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
You know?

Speaker 3 (00:54):
I think like writing it obviously is very cathartic and
healing for both of us. You're kind of going into
the deep well of emotions, especially with writing about the
process of grief. Releasing it is really terrifying and kind
of there's like its own morning process because you're like, oh,
now everybody has my personal diaries. But when you sing
it live and then they're singing back to you, nothing

Go ahead.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
I'm just looking at the overalls. I don't know how
you do it.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
You just have to try.

Speaker 2 (01:26):
I can't. I got the jobs in the Yeah, it'd
be the look great. I don't know how you do it.
And you're both wearing the waffle World. You got the
wall for shut We didn't plan this at all. Are
you wearing jackets on stage? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
I think I'm just gonna rock it like this for
for a minute. I feel like to really earn their
respect of a true Philadelphia you know fan, you kind
of have to go there.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
If you take your shirt off, they like it, Yeah,
they do.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
Who are you rooting for the game is very important?
Tomorrow It's got to be the Eagles. If you say
the Commanders, we're gonna have an issue the interview.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
And Eagles all right?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Birds?

Speaker 3 (02:05):
Yeah, okay, no shot. I feel like all the when
the Birds have all the experience and Saquan possible MVP
definitely MVP calper Year yep. I mean I like Jayden
Daniels for the Commanders. I like the story, but shop it,
but stop. I think it's a rookie.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
I have a respect for all athletes, no matter what,
you gotta respect all of them. Love him, Uh, don't
like what's his name? Patrick Mahomes.

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Now that I don't like him.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
I don't like that the rest are on his side.
Did you watch that game?

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I did not to be honest, It's kind of obvious.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
It was so honest, and Troy Aikman literally called it out.
I'm like, thank god, somebody's.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yeah, I guess I'm talking about the Eagles.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
All right, So guys, you're doing the show. We're freaking
pumped about it. What's the next planet? I think you
only have like April, right, you're doing seven April, and
then what's happening after that?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Yeah, we're kind of in the middle of our tour
for the process the album, and so the April tours
leg two of that, and then we'll probably be doing
even some more shows after that on the process and
then recording more this year and just doing our thing.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, I give them credit. They were in Buffalo last
week and they're doing all like the Southern States in April,
so it's gonna be nice and warm. You don't have
to worry about anything, not to worry about it out
the winter. Very smart, very smart.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
