So no, Yeah, everything was totally fine on the on
the tech side of things. It was just at a
certain point, I was on my second song and I
was like, my fingers feel like ice cubes, and I
was thinking like maybe to do, you know, glove or
that kind of stuff, but I but I didn't want
it to, you know, potentially mess up there.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
I don't know, it was so much fun. I mean,
I was just amazed.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Just seeing at the at the turnout, you know, and
that you know, I mean, you guys are used to
the cold, so it makes sense.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
I think my parents moved to Florida when I was five,
four or five. So I'm very much South Florida raised,
but I have a lot of family in Jersey and
the New York area and okay.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
Second fourth, yeah, yeah, do you remember anything specifically about Jersey, Like,
I mean, I know you come back and forth now,
but from.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Your childhood, I remember being pushed around on a on
like a little tych plastic wagon.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I remember that, and I remember.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
The hills, and I remember my first bunny, Panchito, and
that was my first animal, and those are very important
memories to me.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Well, your childhood, like I know that you your sister
has been a huge inspiration for you, like to kind
of carve your path through music.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Can you go into that a little bit?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, I mean, you know, I started out doing theater
when I was younger. You know, she was really into
the Disney stuff and you know, always saying like a
Disney princess, and you know, I didn't really know what
I wanted to do. I was drawn to a lot
of different things, but you know, I followed her into

(02:09):
choir class and that kind of stuff, and she was
winning state competitions at the age of fourteen.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
For opera and I had a lot of work to do.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
But yeah, I think that it's a really big part
of you know, what got me into music, and that
first love really came from.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Her talented kids in your family. Your parents are probably
so happy. It's so proud.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, they're they're They're very happy, and you know, it's
amazing to have them a part of my life and
my career.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
They're here right now. Let's bring all back. Yeah, Mom,
she I think she's still the phone it. We'll get
her next time.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Wait, so you went to Berkeley, Yes, well because of COVID.
I find it interesting because there's like a thing with Berkeley,
like you don't finish.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
The most successful musicians quit, drop out or they don't finish.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
You know, it's interesting because I I know, like I'm
trying to think of other artists I think leave finished.
If I'm not mistaken, and I think we were in
the same grade. But you know, so that I feel
like that proves it, like it debunks.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
It for me.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
There's John Mayer, Yeah, exactly, so many people I know
that there's there's definitely a really big pull of Alum
And you know, I wanted to finish, but you know,
the universe.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
Had other plans.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Absolutely, maybe one day I'll go back and get that degree.

Speaker 1 (03:27):

Speaker 3 (03:30):
So?

Speaker 1 (03:31):
What's up with TikTok TikTok saw? I don't know, dude.
It keeps changing everything five minutes.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Yeah, it's literally awesome for you. Did you know that people,
I guess people who uninstalled the app they can't get
it back right now.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Yeah, yeah, it's I I mean, I don't know, Like
in my head, I'm like, I don't know why my
friend uninstalled it and I asked him, I was like,
why did you uninstall it? You know, because I think
a lot of things were gonna come to light within
the next few weeks, two months, you know, and it
happens to just be overnight, which was just like, yeah,

(04:05):
absolutely insane. I mean, they definitely did what they did
to the platform.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
It's not the same.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
I don't know exactly what it is, and we've all
agreed upon that.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
So there's iPhones up for sale right now on eBay.
Did you see that for like twenty ten to twenty
five thousand dollars? Because the iPhone already has the TikTok.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Oh. Wow, isn't that crazy? That's crazy? Like, yeah, you're
not that attached to TikTok, are you No. I mean
I think that it's I think that there's always gonna.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Be away, and I think that also we're adaptable. That
doesn't change the bigger conversation out large, and you know,
what's happening with the government and all that kind of stuff.
But I think, you know, for us as people were adaptable.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Yeah, yeah, all right, Coldplay music at the series. I
only get a couple more, but Coldplay Music of the Spheres, Dude,
that is the biggest freaking number of all time and
you were on it. Dude. It's actually crazy.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
I'll just randomly be on my phone and I'm like, oh,
they're doing another leg, like and another continent. Bro, I
did that in twenty twenty two. It's gonna be twenty.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
I know, it's not.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
It's so crazy and I'm so happy for them. And
I mean that was just a once in a lifetime.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
Experience, freaking unreal. Yeah, yeah, it was easy. All right.
So we've got April tour overseas. You were back in
Philly in May. That is still down already. Congratulations, You're awesome.

Speaker 2 (05:29):

I'm all gonna say word it's on here.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Yeah you could say, you can say hell, okay, cool, honestly, whatever,
do whatever, Okay, and then you've got Bono I think,
also Wilapalosa.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Yes, what's next after that?

Speaker 2 (05:45):

this year. There's some things that are just waiting to
be announced.
