hour against France in search of their eighth straight gold medal.
US women's soccer topped the podium for the first time
since twenty twelve thanks to Mallory Swanson's game winning goal
against Brazil.

And men's waterpolo beat Italy for the bronze. Women's boxer
Amani Khalif, who caught the ire of fans around the

and is now suing over verbal abuse she received. Jordan
Chiles must return the bronze medal she won in Paris
on the floor exercise after sports highest court voided an
on floor appeal by her coach. That's according to the IOC,

team USA could go north of one hundred and twenty
five total medals. They stand at one hundred and twenty
three and they're a heavy favorite to win women's basketball
against France, which is the final event of the Olympics.
China is second with ninety medals. They do have the
most gold won, more than the United States. This has
