with a medal in men's water polo.

Ben Hallick led the team in scoring with a couple
of goals on three shot attempts, an eighth straight gold
for the US women's basketball team, who beat France by
a point. Jennifer Valente secured her second straight Olympic gold
medal after winning the final of the women's omnium race.
She finished in first with one hundred and forty four

omnium points to take the title once again. The victory
comes three years after she won gold at the Tokyo Games.
Valenti has also won Olympic medals in the women's team pursuit.
She earned silver at Rio in twenty sixteen before taking
bronze in twenty twenty one. The Olympics closing ceremony is underway.
Team USA finished with forty gold medals at one hundred
and twenty six overall, the eighth straight Olympics they finished
