The US women's volleyball team is taking home its fourth
Olympics silver medal after a straight since lost to Italy
in the final.

Hailey Washington chipped in with four points to go along

The US women's basketball team held off France to win
gold in the final event of the Olympics. That hardware

was needed for the Americans to tie China for the
most gold medals with forty. The US easily won the
total medal count with one hundred and twenty six. Aside
from the forty gold, the Americans won forty two silver
and forty four bronze. The closing ceremony for these Olympics
includes appearances and performances from the likes of Tom Cruise,
Snoop Dogg, Billie Eilish, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
