to something that uh that uh it'san uh you know, I can't even
find the exact work in the morningshot makes you last every morning. I

(00:29):
don't want to request the storm orsay anything stupid. I just want to
say that, thank you. Guysare at the best radio station. No
one does more for the community. No one cares about their listeners more.
Have you guys been a fast foryou to keep feeling like you're d because
he's saying, like me, itwas stuck with Welcome to Johnny's House,
XCEL and one or six seven morning, Good morning, Good morning at six

(00:51):
h two, Orlando's number one hitmusic station. At XL one oh six
seven Johnny's House on a Tuesday morning, it's starting to get a little warmer,
y'all is gonna be partly cloud Hitoday of ninety nice right now sixty
six now the Johnny's House Entertainment Newswith Ray some forty one is breaking up.

(01:11):
Okay, so basically, um,I don't know exactly what happened,
but they're just saying that they're donedays. They're breaking up after they're after
they release their final album and launcha worldwide headlighting tour to say goodbye.
Um, they said that we're verygrateful to our fans at both old and
new we who have supported us anyway, it is hard to articulate the love
and respect we have for you all, and we wanted you to hear it

(01:34):
from us first. So that's basicallyall they said. They just made an
announcement that they're done after this album. Um. The next album is called
Heaven and Hell. It is adouble album. We don't know when it's
going to be released or we haveno idea when the farewell tour is happening.
But kind of like Destiny shout look, yeah, gone to save your
money. We can go around theworld one time. I mean they were
big, but at the same time, they weren't that big. They made

(01:57):
a few big songs venue wise, what would they be before woman and like
a what I think they'd be luckyto do a yeah, and only because
of the final announcement thing. Ithink maybe I agree with that. Financial
they've been together since nineteen ninety six, so they've been around for a long
time. Yeah, I mean they'vebeen around a minute, but like we

(02:17):
have three songs in the system.Yeah, but like Blink two in that
same thing, we've got like twentyfive songs. Yeah, So they just
didn't. They never went super mainstreamblow up, but they had a few
that were big. And I knowthat they're doing some tour with like Offspring
and Simple Plan in August and September, but their own tour is going to
officially kick off later on your money. Did you see this like toneenail picture

(02:39):
Chris Pratt posted? Okay, sohe posted a picture last week of his
baby toneenail um and so he waslike talking about you know why it looked
like that and everything, And sothere was a doctor from the tl Show
TLC Show My feet are killing Me, and he gave his professional opinion.

(02:59):
He based like came out and said, yeah, you got a fungus Chris.
Yeah. So I don't know whyhe like posted it to begin with,
because it wasn't sexy at all,and it was just like kind of
I don't know why. I thinklike a list celebrities and stuff like that
that they get the best healthcare.I mean, they have to be checked
out before they do a movie.I'll be walking around with a big fungus
on you. I don't know.I don't know, but the fact that

(03:22):
he posted it and then the doctorfrom CLC he was like, yeah,
you get a little fungus growing onover there. Then the guy, um,
I don't know. It's one ofthose home makeover shows. A doctor
saw a lump in his neck yeahfrom that flip or flop Yeah, and
found out it was while crazy. Also, um, they're talking about an

(03:42):
Entourage comeback. I watched the oldmovie. It was on the last week.
Look, I love Entourage, butit won't work in today's climate.
They got canceled every episode. Yeah, it's pretty bad. Well, Jeremy
Piven said that Mark Mark Wahlberg wouldbe a key or Entourage to make a
comeback. I guess they caught upwith him and he was like, and
we haven't really committed to you know, starring or like a potential series.

(04:02):
Mark Wahlberg was talking about that andJeremy says that he would actually be the
key to get it off the ground. Um, all the actors would started
and aren't really doing anything. Ifthey got a call, they would come
back. He basically said that, like all Mark needs to do is get
on the phone with HBO and theyone hundred percent would be on board of
it or with it. He ownsit to be weird what direction they would

(04:23):
go like because like I said, like the Days, a lot of those
storylines would have them canceled in asecond. Now, the last time Ni
Vinnie had his he did his firstdirectorial thing, and I guess it was
supposed to be a success. Themarked the movie. Yeah, I don't
know if they'd be picking up fromwhere the movie left the series left off,
That's true. Yeah, I haveno idea but role. But I

(04:46):
did an interview with him and Italked to him and I asked him about
that, and he like snapped atme. Really, he's a super like
classically trained actor, so he doeslike Shakespeare in like over overseas. So
he was I saw. I sawa clip that he did and he was
doing he does stand up comedian,he goes, he goes, I am
a classically trained actor and there's alot of people who was in movies that

(05:09):
I meant that I was in makingmillions of dollars and I'm sitting here at
improv next to the mall. Yeah, Like I asked him about, you
know, having a little bit ofAri gold in him, but because he
plays it so well. And hewas like, why would you ask that
that discounts my training. I'm like, I don't know, uncause you do
it so well. I mean,yeah, that's a compliment, dude.
Yeah. Maybe that's why you're ina little improv next to the mall,

(05:31):
because you're an ass. Well becausethat's a good place to put it,
because people can go straight for thema all. I want to say,
Look, I've seen a lot ofmovies you were in, Like you didn't
do anything until Entourage blew up,But I didn't. But I didn't.
I just said, okay, cool, y'all. Understand when you when you
think you gotta re you know, having the conversation with celebrity, and they
just turn on you, you're like, oh, And I was excited to
talk to him, but as soonas he turned on me, I'm like,

(05:53):
ya, have a good day.All right, listen, if you
know that key word, we're gonnaask for it next. And you know

do that next. On Johnny's Houseto XL one O six seven And this
is Johnny's house, nineties. What'sgonna feel like? They's gonna be nice
and warm the summers here, y'all. Don't think it's gonna be cool anymore

(08:56):
for months, partly cloudy. Itis six six right now. See stayed
here a little bit yesterday went homea normal day, had to pick the
kid up, and I saw him. He's walking towards the car and I'm
like, who are you talking to? He said, I was just talking
to myself because I'm trying to getmy words together to talk to you.
I'm like, oh, okay,um, well get in the car,
close door. What's going on?And uh we we we had the talk.

(09:26):
Like the talk means something happened. He's feeling different. I can't tell
you. It's a tough slope becausethe same with my son, Like yeah,
you want to talk about it.It's life changing. People are dealing
with it, but at the sametime you got respect. Yeah, I
know it's time. It is sono yeah, yeah, So I mean
he's getting to that age. Yeah, and it's funny and and uh ray,

(09:52):
I mean Brian knows this and whereyou're gonna find it out When when
you want to talk to your kids, you can tell who I'm I'm not
listening. Yeah, but when theywant, when they want to hear answers,
they're locked in. Yeah, hewas locked in everything I was saying.
And I'm like, how old ishe? He's fourteen? Yeah.
That was the age that I hadto talk with my well, my mom
had to talk to me and itwas very uncomfortable and I was shutting it
down. I was wick, Iwouldn't know. It's it's not even in

(10:15):
the same universe with a boy.Boy. Yeah, my son already like
wakes up and he's like, lookat my peep And I'm like, yeah,
again, how to explain it?Come time? What are you gonna
say, Mom, get out ofhere, You're gonna see my peeper.
Right from being super comfortable with yourselfto not wanting anyone to even know you
have a peep. Yeah, it'sit's so awkward. So we had we

(10:37):
had we we I mean, wehad a conversation. It's like a fifteen
minute ride home. And then afterthe ride home we were talking while I
was having I mean, I'm like, look, we're gonna talk as long
as he wants to talk. Andwe talked and I'm like okay, and
he's like, wow, you feellike it was a successful conversation. Absolutely?
Oh yeah, Oh, absolutely yeah. I mean I think it can't
be unsuccessful really, honestly. Thefact that they're willing to open to you,

(11:01):
that's what I told him. Thankyou for talking to me and coming
to me with that. Even ifthere's questions left unanswered, the fact that
he came to it was good.Yeah. I say, always come to
me because otherwise he's gonna go toBilly. Yeah, And I'm gonna tell
you, Billy ain't gonna tell himthe RST. No, No, what
did you do it? That's justthat's called a Billy's gonna tell him what
his older brother told him. AndI know because I went to Billy.
I went to Mill too, Billy. Billy told me that the male's part

(11:24):
was called a peanut. Oh yeah, that's called a peanut because he here
the right, that's what he thoughthe heard so because he told that to
me these kids. But no,he thought that's what the clinical term was.
Because you remember anyway, right, how Wow, I can't wait for
my future, I know. Um. So it was good yesterday. I

(11:46):
desperately needed a nap. I feellike I was having an out of body
experience. I was so tired. So I did nap, and then I
went for a run, which itwas hot yesterday. It's hot today,
I know. And then I pickedup the kids and we went to the
pool for a little bit and justhung out with them and had dinner.
Very good. I was cool.I got stuck here all damn day yesterday.

(12:07):
I recorded so many liners it's noteven funny, like so quick inside
when when something changes or there's somethingnew, or radio station has some promotion,
you got to do a bunch ofthese liners. Ye, well,
because I'm on in so many differentplaces, like I have to do one
for every city, and you can'tcut and paste them because there's there's a
different copy. So like I hadto do it for fourteen stations yesterday,

(12:28):
and they were all two to threepages each. I couldn't even put a
sentence together, and then I hadto do my radio shows no like,
so it was a long day.But then when I got home, my
wife was leaving because she had togo to Tampa for work, and my
son last minute had to work.So I had the house to myself for
the while, which was nice.Okay, Yeah, I walked around with
my peanut out a little bit becauseand slide through the house. Nope,

(12:54):
straight naked, straight straight peanut, straight naked, made myself a grilled cheese
sandwich with my peanut out. Howyou do it? And then I played
some bass guitar for a little bitbecause I'm trying to finish learning one one
song. I'm almost done, SoI did that for a little bit,
and then the wife came home andthen I went to bed. I could
just see Brian rocking out. Ishouldn't picture that. I don't want to

(13:16):
show. I don't picture y'all likethat. You know it's funny. I'll
come over every now and go,hey, Lucy, I'm home. That's
from an old Yeah, I loveLucy episode. I'm home, But I
know anybody nobody's If somebody answers back, I'm just gonna go right back.
Out and my little dog is blindnow so she can't see me walking around,
so there's no judgment whatsoever. Thereason I was yours, mami,

(13:37):
it was good. I was actuallyhere at the station a little while.
I was working on some videos forthe sales team getting to know me.
I had to do it in Englishin Spanish. I'm not doing my line
right here in the hallway in thehallway, and I'm just kind of like
sounding kind of silly because I cutsand cuts and cuts. Okay, but
it took some time, so Ihad to cut my day shore. I
really wanted to get my ear peers. But we're gonna say that for another
day. Okay. Um Yeah, went home eight uh, slept, did

(14:03):
the longboard with the dog, andjust like I said, just keep being
active as much as you can.Because I started radio one hundred twenty five
pounds. When I started, Iwas like, man, work out.
Yeah, I'm just I'm shooting forone seventy now. Got to be a
victory. All right, Listen,we come back. We'll talk about sleepovers.

(14:24):
Does that happen anymore? The kidsspend the night at anyone's house.
We're gonna get into that. Thisis Johnny's House National sleepover Days, we's
called spend the night. We didn'thave sleep no slumber party. Yes,
we had slumber parties the night that'sbeen the night. Spend the night.
Now, growing up, did youuh you do a sleepovers? I never
stayed at my house. My housesucked, man. Really. We didn't

(14:46):
have no way. See, yeah, it was hot all the time.
We didn't have no good food.We didn't have no money. Yeah,
like we didn't have nothing. Wedidn't We don't have cable TV, so
I do my mission was to finda place to stay on Friday night.
That was not really From from fifthgrade on growing up, I had some
really bad experiences over my parents had. You know, growing up, your
parents have good friends and you mightbe the same ages of their kids,

(15:09):
and they just want y'all to connect. Yeah, right, And my mom
had some friends and they had kids. We didn't even look like them.
They ain't like us. But I'mlike, hey, why don't you spend
a night over there? And wewent into the house and the dad came
home drunk, and he looked atthe refrigerator and whatever he was looking for
wasn't there. Oh no, heturned the lights on in the bedroom when
he had a belt. Now,my parents looked around the corner all ready,

(15:35):
oh yeah, stuff to get home. Well, I was like,
what are you doing here? Mom? So that's embarrassing. We got to
take you. I'm not going I'mnot going back. I'm not going back.
Seeing fifth grade, my friend livedin Heathrow, so that's that's where
I wanted to go, say, because Heathrow was the rich place. So
yeah, it was amazing. Thefirst time I got dropped off there,

(15:56):
we had to go through security.I'm like security, but it was awesome
though. Oh yeah. They hadall the snacks, really, pinball machine.
I mean it was amazing. Iwas like, wow, I was
staying at a five star hotel.Alex has never spent tonight. He's never
slept over. Really, it's nota relative. Oh really, he's never
had a sleepover. Does he notwant too or do they just not do
that? Nowadays he's never asked, you know. Uh he teld me about

(16:19):
yeah. So and so they're havinga little party and I've had parents say,
hey, uh, you know, the kids are having sleepover. I
like, you want to go,make them go? He don't want to
go. Yeah, Jen's only hada few friends growing Like he's in high
school, he's eighteen now, it'snot really the same. But like you
know, when he was in middleschool early high school, he only had
like two or three friends that stayedat our house and he stayed there.

(16:40):
Yeah, but just a few.Yeah yeah, Ray, what did you
do growing up? Um? Sowe did have sleepovers at my house for
a little bit. Well they sanddid you sneak them in or you snuck
out? I mean some of themwere sanctions. Were parents involved or you
all just stayed or wherever there wasno parents, younger parents were involved,
and everybody thought my parents were likethe cool parents. So we always everybody

(17:02):
always wanted to stay at my house. What was the largest number sleepover?
So for one of my birthdays,I think I had nine girls sleepover.
That's fun. Nine we did.We took up the whole living room and
he did that once for Jade's birthdayand my wife said never again, yea
again. By like two o'clock,he was like, you guys, shut
it down, shout it down now. But I'm like, you feed us

(17:23):
sugar. Yeah, we're jumping onbeds, we're on Yeah, I got
nine, nine people over. That'sguaranteed. They gotta they gotta run the
energy out until they fall asleep.Oh yeah, we destroyed the whole house
is destroying. Ye. We hadto clean the house for a week after
my son's one big sleepover. Yeah, last time. Now we had a
limit two kids, that's it.Yeah. But I did have some friends
that lived off of markam Witz Roadtoo, and like they had all the

(17:47):
stuff, they had all the stuff. One of my best friends mom was
a teacher, I mean highly respectedteacher, and we'd have gatherings at his
house. Is in high school, and his momma called the other mom and
say, hey, listen, I'mgonna let you know that one of the
kids had beer in here and Idon't want them to drive, and they
got to spend the night. Yeah. We did get caught smoking a block

(18:10):
of mild when I was sleeping up. Oh wow. We sat on her
roof and we smoked a block ofmile and those things smell so obviously,
right. My parents ain't dumb though, no about you. Growing up,
I had this friend across the streetand me and my sisters, I mean
we we just became best friends. So I'd be sleeping at their house all
the time. And it's funny becauseat night when they would go to sleep,

(18:33):
I would steal some of their cookiesjust because I was like, they
had orioles all the time, andI like, I love oreos. I'm
a cookie person. So and thenother than that, there's times where we
would sneak out all together, goto the gas station and just get some
snacks and come back. Yeah.So those yeah, we leave my mom's
like, look, ain't nobody spendingnight over here at night? And y'allly

(18:55):
spending the night overen about his house, don't ask. Yeah, my mom
was stubborn to like it was veryvery rare that you would even let me
sleep anywhere. But like, ofcourse they were in the neighbor across the
street, and they were our bestfriendory school. Yeah, I want to
find out from you, do youhave it? This still happened? Do
you have sleepovers? Do you havelet your kids? Because I know I've
talked to parents are like, look, if it ain't a family member,
it ain't gonna happen. I wantto hear from you on National Sleepover Day?

Well? Um, I used tohave sleepovers at my house. Everyone
would spend the night at my houseand we would have funnies every weekend as
well, and everyone will be comingover, and seven was so great.

(20:25):
Why you why are your house? Why are your house and not everybody else's
house? I don't know everyone likemy parents. My parents were like the
cool parents. So everyone would literallycome over to my house and my house
would be so crampassed with people arewatching them funny it was. It was
great, loved it. My parentswould hot working parents, don't bring your
kids your friends living making all that. Damn no parents, they got a

(20:48):
house. Well that my parents fundit though. My parents coming over and
hanging out so well because they knewwhat you guys were. That's the way
you want to do it. Youknow you guys were there. Yeah,
all right, Melanie, you holdon a second. Let's see Erica,
good morning. All right, nationalsleepover there? What do you guys do?
Growing up, I was not allowedto have sleepovers at friend's house.

(21:12):
My parents would not allow that familyall the time. Um, they would
say sometimes with what a cousin's houseif they don't even think about it,
you guys and I saying, butwe always tried. Um, and my
kids are the same way. Um. They are not allowed to have sleepovers.
But if they want to have friendsover, I'm more to welcome in
my house. I know what they'redoing, so yeah for me, if

(21:33):
they want to, they really don'thaven't they don't ask much, um,
but if they want to have friendsover, I'm okay with that. But
then yeah, I was kind.Your parents sounded like mine, like,
listen, don't ask. I don'tknow them. People's parents. I know,
yeah, they have they have fathers, they have brothers. No,
no, it's a father brother silence. My mom was like, no,

(21:56):
no, no, I saw meetingonce. He said, looks like they
spend the night. Because my mamasaid, you got a father and a
brother there, So I can't go. Erica, hold on one second,
let's see here, uh Lydia, good morning, good morning, all right,
and how old are you, ma'ameleven? And tell me what are

(22:19):
you doing? Sleepovers? My momshe doesn't really care where I go,
but she has to really know theparents, Like if she doesn't have their
phone number and she doesn't know whothey are or everyone in their family,
I seem go nowhere. Oh that'sgood. Yeah, you can't just let
your kids stay at anybody's house. And you always got to talk to him
first. I used to always dothat because one time I got burned and
the kids didn't check with the parents. I don't have to go pick my

(22:41):
kid up. I'm like, fromnow on, you know what, I'm
gonna have a conversation to make surethis is sancial. She had to unsacious.
Yeah, my parents are cool. You can stay. Yeah, all
right, do you hold on asecond? All right, all right?
Right? What they say? Um? Somebody said, my girls who are
now twenty two and nineteen, theyrarely had sleepovers. Um, somebody had

(23:03):
them all the time, even onschool nights. My mom as a teacher,
We had no way we have asleepover. No, no, don't
ask. Yeah, they say XLmobile power by Attorney Dan Newland interact need
to check called Dan Newland. Someonesaid, my kids are not allowed to
sleep over anywhere else because I don'tknow that. I don't know those people.
But the people could stand at theirhouse. Yeah. And then someone

(23:25):
said, they're fifty eight years old. They had to sleepover this weekend with
their girlfriends. Three adult women drinkingmargarita nachos in the morning. They made
some eggs benedict and then went hometo their husband Is it called a sleepover?
Yeah? It called something else?Yeah, okay, And the reason
why they say it. On thelast rain you got DJBC, he said,
I remember my daughter's first sleepover.I was nervous, red, couldn't
sleep, stayed up all night. And now he's the one that hosts it.

(23:48):
Really, if I ain't justed methinking if I had a daughter and
she wanted to sleep over, Iwouldn't spend a night there, Like,
look, your mom could. NowI'll go here, them go hang out
with my boy's house. I ain'ttrying to be in a house with a
bunch of little girls. I'm noteven trying to do that, y'all.
So tell their parents my daddy ain'tgonna be here. Y'all have a great
time. Yeah. I mean, luckily you never had that dynamic because I

(24:10):
have a son exactly. All right, Well, Lydia, we're gonna hook
you up. We're gonna give youthose tickets so you can see Disney's Coco
in concert again. It's the music? Is that? The Doctor Phillip Center
of November twenty six, Moving onquickly, Ray what's up everybody? This
is justin being seven Orlando. Nowthe Johnny's House Entertainment News with Ray.

(24:37):
So we still know basically nothing aboutthe medical complications. Like it was that
that he had like a stroke, but it wasn't officially confirmed. Yeah.
Um, so they've kind of kepteverything hush hush with what they'd say.
His family ain't saying nothing now, people that know ain't saying nothing. Yeah,
he's been in the hospital for thepast month. Um. And the
unofficial official update from what we're seeingis that Jamie's inner circle says that he

(25:03):
is stable and his condition is nota life threatening situation now, which kind
of suggests that he may have hada life threatening situation at some point him.
Yeah, I mean yeah, seriousare still doing more tests on him.
He's still in the hospital, andthey're saying that he is going to
stay in the hospital until they arecompletely sure that he's going to be okay,

(25:29):
and you know, they just wantto make sure because if they let
him go and then something happens again. He's told that he has to keep
his stress level down when he doeseventually get discharged. So they're not saying
I mean, from what I understand, I mean, I don't Yeah,
I don't know, So I'm justhearing what people saying is he had a
stroke. So if he did that, are they saying he's back to himself
or they just saying whenever he getshome. I don't know, because right

(25:52):
now they're just saying it's not alife threatening situation now, so they're gonna
love him go home. Oh yeayet Yeah, so they're keeping him in
the hospital. They're still doing aton of different tests on him. So
that was like the official update thathe's still going to be in there for
a little bit. Um. Theofficial coronation portraits are out. Oh okay,
Charles, Queen Camilla and the family. They were all released yesterday.

(26:15):
We talked a lot about the coronationyesterday with our friends from the UK,
So if you missed any of that, check out the podcast from yesterday.
So, but there were two noticeableabsences guests, Prince Harry and Jeffrey Epstein's
buddy Prince Andrew. Ye. Soit's a damn Shane that Harry's in the
same boat with Andrew. I know, man, all he did was with

(26:37):
somebody he loves. That's it.Look, everybody know that. But I'm
on the same boat with him.Yeah, so um, and I guess.
Of course, we told you yesterdaythat yesterday that he left immediately right
after the ceremony hurt. And thething is is that we're not clear if
he was invited to pose for thepictures or if he just stayed out of
it. What do you think.I think he wasn't invited. I think

(26:59):
he probably was on the list.Yeah, I mean, I'm looking at
it. I'm looking at it,man, I mean, look, those
pictures are nice. So I don'tknow. I didn't see the photos.
If it's people that are just inthe royal part of the family, because
he's now he's just a kid.Yeah, Like I mean, I guess
he's still technically royal, but notreally. But that's that's his family like
that. But like I know wassaying yesterday, but if you're if this

(27:21):
is a photo of the royalty, yeah, you're not royalty anymore. He
gave it and that's probably why hewasn't invited, Yeah, because he gave
it up. So but also areally little fun fact for you on the
side, there was a lip readerof course, that was kind of trying
to interpret the conversation that Harry washaving with the guy next to him and
what the lip reader suggests is thathe he was talking to the dude next

(27:44):
to him and said, I'm fedup with the way they treat me.
Okay, no, I know that'swhat I said. That's a lot.
I thought that was so funny.Like, really, guys really wouldn't know
if he felt that way, hewouldn't never see the places. I know.
It was like this reads it.He had a look on his face

(28:07):
like he looked disgusted. Different. No, the interpreter said, you said
I'm sick of how they treat I'dhave a come in and say what did
he say? Yeah, you're fightman, Yeah kid, they say nothing
as real quick. Taylor Swift wrappedup her final stop in Nashville. But
I don't know if you saw thevideos and pictures. It was pouring torrential

(28:30):
down, the lightning all of it. I'm about to say it's crazy because
I didn't see a show. Idon't know anything about it. I saw
the photo and I was thinking tomyself, Wow, that shower scene that
they do stage and I gotta bea bit much. Ever, yeah,
no, it was like say onething, well, yeah, yea,
yeah, it rained. Yeah,so because of the weather and lightning.
It forced everybody to shelter in placein the Nissan Stadium. So there's there's

(28:52):
videos and pictures of people partying inthe stadium just waiting for the rain delay.
But she eventually went on stage andshe finished at one thirty in the
morning. So that's the thing aboutdoing a stadium tour, it's about the
weather. Yeah, some of them, you know here they had three perfect
nights. Yeah, but there I'mlike seventy thousand people inside the stadium just
parting until they said that she couldcome out. That's why you got to

(29:15):
go down to hard rock because theyhave Cannady. Now you get floor seeds
because the floor seeds get wet,but you could stay in a nice section,
you know, one hundred because Iknow we went down years to go
years ago to see Jay z andUm and justin Timberlake. It was hot.
That was pre Cannaby too. Therewas no cover, so I was
hot. I went down to seeGreen Day, Weezer and fall Out Boy

(29:36):
with the Sun and we made surethat we had seats under the Cannaby because
I go to Hurricanes games there andit poured. Okay, so we were
good, but the people down inthe floor. They were so another side
note for you, Matt Mattie Healey, it was at every single NAS Nashville
show, that nineteen seventy five singer. It's so funny because, like every
like three years ago, they askedhim about Taylor Swift and he said dating
her wouldn't be so emasculating. He'slike, I can be so emasculating,

(30:00):
and that looking at had a manon the opening night and it got a
new man. I just wanted howyou work the dating in I guess you
know, love will find where hecomes to the shows, comes to the
show, all right, smarter thanyour hood, representing your city. Next
un Johnny's body. Now, Idon't want to say this teacher's name.
A lot of the stories would getlocally. We don't. I don't like
to give names because people are dealingwith that stuff right now. But there's
a substitute teacher over in Lake Countywho's in trouble and they charged her with

(30:25):
child abusing. You're like, damn, what did she do? Well?
She was arrested. That happened lastweek over at Eustace Middle School. Courting
to the police port, it waslast period of the day and the substitute
teaching her the seven grade of talkingabout his friend wanting to vape and gave
her. She gave the student hervape to hit. Yep, so somebody

(30:45):
rated her out. Then, yeah, somebody rated her because otherwise that what
they know. Yeah, how oldis she does the same? No?
No, it says that she isa mom of a kid that goes to
that school. That's why I wannagive her name out. Um never thought
the substitute teacher would give a childsomething like that, police said. The
seventh grader said, the substitute teacherum heard his friends say he wanted to
vape, and she said, Ihave one and pulled it out. Seventh

(31:07):
grader said. She then asked ifhe wanted to hit, and that's what
that's what she told the poet.He said, you can't do this.
You can't do this. This iswhat the police said. It's common sense.
And she said, Um, shejust wanted to fit in. She
gotta be at least in her midthirties. Yeah, yeah, you can't
do that, she said. Teachersdon't need to fit the in. What
you need to be. It's moreparent like. So they're going crazy.

(31:30):
She's they arrested her. Uh.And the substitutes are trying to be cool
because all the kids are mean tothem sometimes. And I met she probably
knows these kids outside of the classroomif her son goes there. Yeah,
somebody, somebody read the subs alwayswant to be cool. Yeah. We
had one. Uh, we hadone who didn't give a damn about substitute
teaching teaching. He just wanted thatfifty bucks a day if they game.
I don't know how much it isnow as that was, yeah, I

(31:52):
don't know fifty bucks. And he'slike, look, they gave me this.
And everybody's like, hey, misterso and so, because you knew
when you went to this class. All he was gonna do was like read
this. Yeah, they gave methis whole thing that I'm supposed to teach
you all, but you know whatI'm not gonna I was hard on substitute.
Yeah, my body was hard.We had a one armed substitute and
I called him these substitutes, you, Bryan, every time you tell that

(32:15):
story and oh no, it makesme curty. But I was again,
I was in you know, middleschool. Middle school kids are Yeah,
my middle school class two, wewere so bad that the substitute teacher had
to call the dean to settle usdown. I remember once I had to
stand up. There was a substituteteacher who was a pastor. He had
a little small church. I thinkhe had like maybe forty fifty members.
And I found out and I told, hey, you stop, man and

(32:37):
man a pastor. See, Iknow you were nice to substitute because you're
the one who told the teacher whowas me when, so you would have
told on me. Oh yeah, and that mean what you're saying, miss
Johnson got back. You would havebeen oh oh oh, oh no.
Bryan called him the stubs to know, I don't walk by. I don't
walk by to see it. Lookat that. Oh so you're under cover.

(32:59):
It was a now you can cask. You can read my hand right,
You're like, what, Brian,Oh okay, I know you would
have routed me out. Yes,sir, I would have. That was
mean. Look, I know itwas a It was a mean thing to
say. I know I shouldn't havesaid it now that I'm an adult,
but at the time, I wasvery sarcastic. I had a rough childhood.

(33:22):
I went to my kids in schoolyesterday and all the safety patrols were
coming out and I represented. Isay, I represent the kids. There's
a bright lime color. I thinkit was on. I wanted to salute
them. I understand what y'all goingthrough being a school safety patrols salute.
I won't have none of that.I just understood. I would have Belt
proudly. I would have Belt.I look out for the reason. I

(33:42):

Doesn't matter because the last one iseither for the tie or for the win.
So we got to gauge what yousound like. So on account of

(37:40):
three, yell out your cities.Okay, one, two three? Wow,
Okay, Valerie, we didn't hearyou at all, so try that
a little, a little louder.Okay, one, okay, two three,

(39:07):
Thank you. What a mess, absolute mess, but sometimes you gotta get
out of all right, Yeah, knowing when to pull the corner. Yes,
battle, all right, we comeback. It is Nurses Week.
We want to start highlighting some nurseshave done some amazing things. We're going
to talk to them and we're nextcoming up on Johnny's house. Cloudy h

(39:28):
sixty six and still holding sixty sixand it's looking for a ninety as high.
And today is it national. It'snurses Week. It's yeah, nurses
week, all right, And whatwe want to do today is highlight some
of the nurses that are special inyour life. And we're gonna hook them
up with something. And we saidthis a million time. Man, there's
a lot of people. There's twoprofessions that you can't fake. You can

(39:50):
do it, but you can't doit well. You can't do it for
a checker to burn you out. One's a school teacher and another one is
a nurse. Because real nurses canchange your life, and especially when you're
in a hospital and you have aloved one there, Uh, the kindness
of a nurse can change everything. You know, if you've got one that's
doing it for the money. They'rebasically going in and do the job.

(40:10):
Blah blah blah. But you wantyou have one that has a passion for
the industry. They they're just goodhearted people. They sit down with you
and tell you about your loved oneand what's going on, and they just
put everything at ease and they goabove and beyond. Not because it's their
job, it's because that's just thetype of person that you are. And
we were off the air and whereyou were talking about some nurses that dealt

(40:30):
with you when you're having your twins. Yeah, yeah, I say their
names if you want to, that'sup to you. Well, there's a
bunch of them. But like thenNicki nurses in general, Yeah, like
those all nurses are actually like walkingangels, people that are in healthcare walking
angels. But but yeah, myNikki nurses, they were just absolutely amazing.
And just because it's like that timein your life where it's just like

(40:52):
everything up in the air, it'squestionable, you know what's going on.
You're a new mother and it's justvery scary. Yeah, So those over
Avon Health and Nicki nurses absolutely amazing. But like the nurses after my C
section. I just like they areamazing. They I just remember them coming
like into the shower with me,like fully naked, just in the shower

(41:13):
with me, helping with like everythingand putting ice packs on me. And
I'm like, you know, you'rewearing like a diaper after you have the
surgery and you just have kids andeverything is just like all over the place.
They just made you feel comfortable inease. Yeah. Yeah, And
don't forget that. Never will Iever forget that. I just like was
standing in the shower. I remembermaking eye contact with her and being like
thank you so much, as likecrying. But you can tell the in

(41:34):
their eyes and their spirit that theywere it was a part of them.
Yes, you can't fake being agood nurse, no bad nurse. Absolutely.
Yeah. We've been doing Evan Healthis doing commercials thinking all the nurses
and I've been bringing up one forme and she's probably his name is Tina.
And I went in their blood pressurethrough the roof. I mean it
was through the she she sat medown. I'm room. I never forget

(41:57):
she came in sat down on school. So let me talk to you and
tell you what's really gonna happen toyou. If you don't change your lifestyn
you know, uh, you canhave a stroke. You can't have this.
You can have this in a lotof cases. You pepe stop working.
And I looked at her like, yeah, that's a part of whether
if you don't change, you keepthe blood high blood pressure thing, keep
going, not getting enough sleep, drinking caffeine, and and I'm sitting there

(42:17):
going wow. She said, Iknow this is this is hard, but
you need to hear this. Thisis the reality if you don't change your
life. This is the possibility ofwhat could go down. And all I
heard was my p people gonna stopall that other step Fine, whatever,
change my life, change everything.I'm a brand new man. But I

(42:39):
needed that, that kind of toughlove conversation because doctors come in, they'll
give you a pamphlet. All right, here's the pamphlet. Read this,
this is what can happen. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you're gonna be
there's a yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, fine, oh
yeah, let me get two pepperonislices, some ham, all that good.
It'd be really a tough consideration.Pep or pizza. I like pizza,

(43:04):
but I love bran I was justpraying you would have finished that sense.
Yeah, I like my job.I was hoping he'd sell you like
Pepe because I was gonna save that. That was gonna there were this one.
But we've been working together way toolong for me to set myself up

(43:27):
like that right next to that one. You want to well, I mean
when my mom was sick, likethe whole team of over in Sanford hospital,
that's because we we lived in Sanford, so that's where she always was
for like weeks, months at atime sometimes. Um so yeah, I'm
bad with names, so I wouldnever remember the games, but like they
know I lived there, Like Imean I would come to work there and
stay all day, took a showerand a little sink like you know,
the whole bath, and then comeback and work right. So yeah,

(43:51):
like but that was nine years ago, so like it's s been so long.
But yeah, they were, Ohthey were good people, and you
know, like there's I feel likesometimes I like you you read people like
they read that, Look he ain'tgoing to where ye, so this visiting
hours don't apply here? Yeah?Absolutely absolutely. Security guy first was a
little harsh on me because, likeyou know, he's trying to keep you
know, and my job. FinallyI had to pull him aside a little

(44:13):
bro, I'm gonna be here everyday. Yeah, I'm coming back every
day. I'm leaving every morning atthe end of morning, and I'm coming
back when doing We could do thisevery day if you want, but this
is how it's gonna go down. Finally, even he was cool about it.
Yeah. Yeah. The whole teamover there at San franc Hospital was
great. Yeah, there was one. There was a nurse when my dad
was that I mentioned him. Hedidn't know I was spending the night there
and he didn't check out my dadthe whole night. But when he got
back to the next morning he goeshe saw me and was like, oh,

(44:37):
that's how you guys are resting,So I don't want to bother you.
I'm like, I looked at him, like you're that I saw you
out there. I just gave hima look, you know. Yeah,
Nicia, got anyone you want tohighlight on Nurses Week? Yes, my
sister or my middle sister. Sheis a nurse, okay, even when
she was in her full blown pregnancy, pulling up and care patients. Oh
yeah, and I got a tonof friends that are also in the meadmal

(44:59):
Field. Yeah, let me tellyou man, COVID knocked out a lot
of nurses said I'm out. Alot of them. It was too much.
They were working seven days a week, twelve or fifteen hours a day,
nine stop. They were crying anda lot of them stuck it,
stuck through it, and a lotof them said, I'm out. I
cannot do this. So what wewant you to do is tell us about
a nurse that change your life orone that goes above and beyond. Until

(45:21):
that nurse, we're gonna hook themup with a pair of tickets see the
Jonas Brothers at the Amway Center.Tickets don't go and sell until May twelve.
Another chance to win go to xcelone or six seven dot com slash
contest or these are winning before youcan buy them. But just tell us
about a nurse that will stand outfor you that you can recall and how
special they were. Now you're gonnabe to be able to have to contact
that nurse because we want to hookthem up with a prize. Four oh

(45:43):
seven nine one nine one o sixseven eight seven seven nine one nine one
or six seven honoring nurses on NursesWeek right here on Johnny's House, High
ninety and partly cloudy. It isNurses Week, and we wanted to highlight
all those amazing nurses that do anamazing job working really hard. I'm telling
you out of the backbone of everythingI've seen it. The doctors come in
like rock stars. They got this, this, and this not handling.

(46:05):
Yeah right, yeah not The doctorsaren't awesome as well to get the credit
all the time, while there's theother ones that are also griming it out
making sure that they're okay. Now, Doctor's Week will highlight them, but
it's Nurses Week, so we're gonnamake sure they're okay. And uh,
one of the nurses is gonna hookup with a pair of tickets winning before
you can buy them. See theJonas Brothers at the Amway Center October October

(46:27):
thirteenth. UH tickets and loan tosell to the public till mate the twelfth
and other chance to win go toXL one six seven dot com contest.
But we need to hear about theseamazing nurses. Steve, good morning,
Good morning, Hey Steve, tellus about an amazing nurse. I am
going to try and get through thestory without getting choked up. Yes,

(46:47):
a little disclosure, Yes, sirum. The nurse I'm talking about in
question is my mom. Okay, tell us about your mom. She was
a nurse for twenty eight years samehospital, and she was so dedicated to
her profession into working that one ofthe reasons, the main reason why she
retired after twenty eight years, wasshe delivered one of her doctors Oh really,

(47:14):
if you work in the safe, you're work in a hospital long enough
that that scenario will happen. Wow. So she was like, you know,
and she's from Jamaica, and soshe came home one day and she's
like, you know what, I'mdone. I'm not calling that man.
So I brought him into this. That is awesome. Wow. So her

(47:37):
thing was when she retired, shehad um nine months of vacation saved up.
You mean because she Wow, youhardly overtook vacation and because she All
the nurses table will tell you theyconstantly redo their contract with collective bargaining,
but the older nurses are typically grandfatheredinto whatever they started at. Okay,

(48:00):
she got she was grandfathered into theold way of doing things. So whenever
she worked, she got like tripletime because she was on the old pay
schedule, scumulator time. Yes.But the thing about it was, and
what what kind of brings us allhome for me, was she inspired people
in my family to become nurses. And they one of them, actually,

(48:22):
my aunt's daughter, actually was aheadof instruction at RMC for their nursing program.
Wow. Look at that. It'syou know, going back to my
mom. She had seven strokes andshe lived ten years with those strokes because
we put her in a nursing homethat literally was behind her hospital. And

(48:45):
she barely remembered me, barely rememberedmy brother. But seven o'clock in the
morning on the DOT, she wouldjump up, I gotta go to work.
Wow, because she could see thehospital. And that's what, you
know, that's what kept her withus for so long, because no one
lives through seven strokes that yeah.Yeah, and to be you know,

(49:08):
somewhat coherent. But you know,I look at all the good that she
did, like inspiring my cousins tobecome nurses. Became a surgical nurse,
like I said, one it wasa director of nursing instruction at r MC.
Another one became a triage nurse andit was just um and my brother.

(49:28):
He's a mental health counselor in ain a hospital. Wow. Wow,
it's incredible. Man, your momis an amazing woman. That's amazing.
Yeah, it's amazing. Listen, was that was grand adapting And you
know I saw tall nurses out there. You know, thank you for everything
you do and it matters. Itdoes matter. Steve hold on a second.
Uh right, what they're saying overthere? Um, let's he here.

(49:50):
We've got a lot of people taggingtheir friends. They said, shout
out to my best friend and theone that is one of the most amazing
nurses. She has five kids andshe works full time. So should I
took Ristina Missaria and then shout outto all the nurses I've had the privilege

called Dan Newland. A lot ofpeople also shouting out, like their friends

(50:14):
and her family members that are nurses, and some school nurses says what about
us too? Yeah, those schoolnurses. Yeah, everybody, Yes,
if you got nursing, that Itis you. It is you, there
is what they're saying on the livestream. Yeah, we got Jordan Ali.
She says she has three different babiesat three different hospitals, So shout
out to all the nurses she wastreated so well. All right, Steve,
these tickets will go to you.If you don't want them, well

(50:35):
we'll give them to someone else whorecognized a nurse. These tickets to see
the Jonas brothers, and thank youfor sharing that story about your mom.
Will appreciate that. That's what NursesWeek is all about. Um, miss
rate what's going on? Um,there's some famous people who are actually worried
about this. Britney Spears autobiography thatall this is Ianna everybody. This is
just so thanks now the Johnny's HouseEntertainment News with Ray. All right,

(51:07):
so the week actually we're gonna talkBritney Spears. We'll go to the Weekend
next. Britney Spears this autobiography thatshe has confirmed it's been a year since
she secured the book deal. Fifteenmillion dollars is what she secured the deal
for. So I guess what they'resaying is that the tell All is allegedly
finished. But Now there's some rumorsof some famous people who have reportedly sent

(51:30):
legal letters to Britney Spears because they'reworried about what she might write in her
autobiography. So obviously we've heard thatshe's going to be brutally honest in this
book, and some of the Alisters are sending those strongly worded legal letters
to the publishers and people that knowBrittany because they are nervous. So the

(51:50):
book was supposed to come out andfall. Now there's no word if that's
going to happen, because this processcould take months if they have to like
allegedly go through the publisher consulting legalteam to figure out if there's any potential
liability. Now, as a publisher, I mean, does ethics come into
the play here if you're the publisher, I understand, because what I'm saying
here that if I paid fifteen milliondollars for this hot book I got,

(52:13):
yeah, and Brian is a celebrity, then I'm saying, Brian, hey,
listen, I just want to giveyour heads up. There's about eight
or nine pages on you on thisbook that it ain't looking good right,
and you're like, I need thatout of there. Well I need to
recoup some of this fifteen million dollars. Yeah, so yeah, I mean,
I guess it depends on what itis and who is going to get
sued. Was gonna be a publisher? Is me Brittany? You're saying this

(52:36):
is these are from her thoughts. So Brian comes to being and say,
listen, man, I'll give youa half million dollars, just get that
chapped out. What some of themare saying is there's every word. Obviously,
numerous family members are going to bea put on blast and all that
stuff. But these are other celebritiesshe said that, or they are saying
that there's every reason that she maygoing very hard on some of these people,
which could create a legal liability. So her publishers are backing, backing

(52:59):
it all up right now, justmaking sure. But some of the Hollywood
stars that they're questioning, two ofthem is what they're talking about. Well,
here's my thing. How can yousue me for what I see is
my truth? Yeah? I don'tknow, Well unless they sue for defamation
or if it's like because the twoHollywood stars that Britney Spears reportedly claimed she
had an affair with that are causingissues. So she's gonna be talking about

(53:22):
having those affairs and they've allegedly reachedout because they don't want that to come
out. Well, here's the thing. If if if she had these affairs
and they know they had an affairwith her and she got receipts, you
go after her. She dropped thosereceipts. That's going to discredit you if
you know you had in a spairwith her and she got in this book
and you're like, they didn't happen, and she goes, oh, yeah

(53:43):
they did. Yeah, she's justtrying to delay it that The people are
just trying to delay it so theycan try to work something out. Yeah,
that's what I'm talking about. Let'spushed this back. So either I'm
gonna tell the truth to the personthat's sitting next to me, yes and
out, or I can maybe convinceBritney they get hey, but here's my
thing. Okay, that was yearsago. How you you can't get it
looked? Okay, we're together now, you can't get mad at me because
I had an affair wood unless wewere together then too. Oh yeah,

(54:05):
yeah, then we got a problems, right, Okay, Yeah, I
don't know. It's gonna be prettyinteresting. I'm excited for it to come
out again. I'm supposed to thefall, but now this could be months
in the works of faces today checkout the legal liability. Rarely read anything
other than self help books, butI could because a whole big marketing ploy
could be because now you want toread it, because you're like, oh,

(54:25):
it's got to be so good thatare freaking out. I think I'm
gonna read it anyways, because it'slike her truth and I don't any book
release, they release it to themedia first, and they always highlight oh
yeah in the book headlines. Ifyou got a book and I ain't gottene
of that coming out, you gotto give me something. Even like her
sister Jamie Lyn Spirits when her bookcame out, I'm fascinated by this,

(54:49):
But now I'm like, that's probablythe best part. If her family is
not prepared for her to destroy them, then they're not. Oh no,
they're prepared. But these other Alisters are kind of like, well,
the Weekend is that is saying thathis next album maybe his last hurrah as
the Weekend, so he's saying thathe's going through something right now where he
wants to kill the Weekend and eventuallywill um. So he's like, I've

(55:12):
said everything I can say as theWeekend, like change his name so his
real name is Abel, so hemight go by Abel from here on out.
He's going by his new name isWeekday, his Weekday. I mean
he's going to switch genres too.Hey say that way you can play any
kind of music you want to play, you know, anything you want to
because that's you know, well,I don't even know when his last hurrah

(55:34):
is going to be, but he'ssaying that this is it as the Weekend.
Okay, there you go. He'sjust strange to me. A lot
of artists have changed their names anddone stuff like that. Garth Brooks went
through a little Yeah what was whatwas his name? Jaynes? Yeah?
Aj from the Backstory Boys did it? Yeah, yeah, true, Yeah,
So he'll do it all right,we come back. It's time for

(55:55):
Sidetakers. Got two roommatesic got alittle situation going on beside takers. You
hit the story and tell us whoyou side with. It's coming up on,
John and it's gonna be partly sunny. How did days you can reach
You about eighty eight and it issixty seven right now. Now Johnny Souse
Creuis is going on and it's sellingextremely fast. So if you're thinking about
getting it now, it's trying tojump on because the prices are going up

(56:15):
because you guys want to buy somany cruises. They didn't do that before,
but they're doing it now. They'reraising the price because of the demand
of the ships. Thursday, Septemberfourteenth, that's when we set sell.
I could add this to you.We just got a sponsor who wants to
sponsor like a singles party nice onthe boat. We'll tell you more about
that once we get it all lockedin because a lot of a lot of
people are going to hear couples andpeople are like, hey man, it's

(56:36):
a lot of couples because they're goingto it. If you're on the cruise,
you've got a Facebook page, thenonly people like you know if you
signed up that you can get into. So if you have signed up,
just look for Johnny's House Cruise twentytwenty three on Facebook and we'll check the
email and then we'll get you in. But there's a lot of singles,
so there's like this company says, hey, you know, we special lots
in that and we'll tell you moreabout that once everything gets locked in.

(56:57):
So there will be a singles partyon the boat along line of a lot
of other things that's going on.Four days at sea. We're gonna be
hanging out with us. We gota lot of stuff going on. But
the first thing you gotta do isinside. You want to get in on
it, and that's how you goto XL one six seven dot com or
Johnny's House dot com and then scrolldown there is a number to give you
and that's the only way you canbook. They say, contact Alicia and
there's a number there and you askher Inside cabins balconies are based on availability

(57:22):
out a friend calling last week onethe balcony and they're checking for him.
So if you want to get in, you want to get it's now time
to think about it because after awhile, next thing we're gonna be saying
is that it is sued out.The demand is quickly. It's gonna be
one of the bigger ones we've everdone. That's how many people. So
behind the scene, we got alot of stuff going on. So if
you want to do it, xlone on six seven dot com, Johnny'shouse
dot com, Johnny's House Sea Cruisetwenty twenty three. It's going down and

(57:46):
we want you to be a partof it. We're already planning working out
in that tolerance level. Yeah,to a whole different level. There's gonna
be a lot of fun. Soif you want to do it, go
ahead and get it done. Thinkabout it. Called up and letim know
what you can do to make sureyou lock in a cabin because once it's
done, it is done. Allright. Now, we've got time for

(58:06):
side takers. We have a roommates, Michael and James. They have a
situation of another person wanting to movein and somebody not and splitting up.
Rent. What you do with sidetakersis you let them tell their sides of
the story and you listen closely andyou think of yourself, you know what
I side with this person or outsidewith that person. But the first thing
you gotta do is hear their stories, and we'll have them both on let

(58:27):
them tell their sides of stories withsidetakers. With that in just a couple
of minutes right here on Johnny's HouseTuesday, this is Johnny's house and it's
gonna be warm. Its starting towarm up to those summer highs. The
high today of ninety. It issixty eight right now, and it's going
to be partly cloudy. All right. This is a segment called Sidetakers.
If you're just now listening for thefirst time, what happens is people get
in contact with us, have ustell us a situation they cannot find a

(58:49):
solution too, and they want youguys to do it for them. So
each one is gonna call up andtell their sides of the situation is going
on. You listening, you willtell us who you side with from the
stories that they tell, and thenyou let us know like texting the XL
mobile, calling us on our housephones, or social media on the live
stream. But the first thing wemust do is meet them. And let's
go ahead and we'll say good morningto Michael. How are you doing?

(59:13):
Michael, Hey, I'm doing well, okay, And if you can connect
that Brian to James, James, how are you hey? What's going on?
All right? Very good? Verygood. Michael. Let's start with
you and then we'll hear from James. All right, Michael, what's going
on with side. Take us allright, sure, So you know,
I've been kind of seriously seeing someonefor about four months now, and last

(59:35):
month she had a problem with herroommate and she happened to move out,
okay, And she's been living withfriends and family until about two weeks ago.
And so you know, it's abouttwo weeks ago she basically moved in

(59:57):
with me. Okay. But thething is that James m. James didn't
really know. But uh, youknow, while we're at work, she
cleans the apartment, she makes dinner, um, and then you know,
she she goes to work, um, and she gets top late when when

(01:00:19):
James is sleeping, she goes backand she stands in my room. Okay.
Um. You know, so it'sit's kind of like the ideal scenario
honestly, because she's home, she'scleaning, Um. She even like cooks
for us when we're not home. But James, James had James had no
idea. He had no idea thatyour girlfriend been lived with you for what
two weeks? Uh? Yeah,I mean he did, but he really

(01:00:44):
liked it. He said he wasinto it. He really invitd that how
clean the place was. He wastelling me how much she enjoys having like
a hot meal for dinner every night, and um, you know now I'm
thinking that, Um, you know, I want her to move in with
us and the rent three ways, and I think that would work out really

(01:01:05):
well for all of us. Um, you know I've been, Um,
I've been covering James's rent for thelast two months. Well you know,
I don't want to get me yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
okay, okay, Um, uh, you know, so this way,
James wouldn't have to worry about, you know, so much about paying
the rent money. So you know, and um, so it makes sense

(01:01:25):
to you. She's been doing itfor two weeks he doesn't know, which
means that if she lived there permanently, she won't be in the way because
for two weeks he hadn't even didn'tknow that the woman existed living in the
house. Yeah exactly, Okay,James, what's the what's the problem with
this? Um, not so muchthe problem with me in particulars that my

(01:01:49):
girlfriend doesn't like the idea that anotherwoman is living with us full time now,
so she don't want jails. Soso okay, it would help.
So you don't have a problem withwhat's going down, Because it's been happening
for two weeks. You haven't seenher. The girlfriend works all the time,
she's cooking, she's cleaning. She'sgonna pay a third, she is

(01:02:10):
gonna pay if she moves in,She's gonna pay some of the rent.
Right, Well, yeah, that'sthe idea. And honestly, like you
said, like, I doesn't evenfeel like she's here. Okay, but
your girlfriend said, oh no,ain't no girl living up in here.
Yeah. No, we even gotto a little mini argument over here.
So you don't want to move inbecause your girl said so, Well,

(01:02:30):
it would definitely avoid problems with myrelationship. But outside of that, um,
so out of you, you don'thave a problem. No, I
mean, not me, okay, now, I mean I mean and in
the in the letter and in theemail that we got, I mean,
are you and your girl? Yea, y'all seriously stuff, I mean,
you know, here's your girlfriend.Well yeah, yeah, we've been scared

(01:02:52):
for a while. Now okay,it's long enough for her to tell you
what to do. Obviously. Nownow this ain't none of my business either,
but it seems like your roommate ishelping you out financially, as is
your girl, you know, cookingit, you know, throwing you a
couple of couple of dollars. Youknow. Oh well, I'm not asking
her to help you pay for myrent. I mean, I just don't

(01:03:15):
feel like that would be fair, especially since she's not even living there.
Um. But I mean, asyour lady, though you want to help
you, I'm just you know,I'm not doing that. Yeah, okay,
but I mean, like, wouldyou be able to afford the rent
if it was cut three ways, because she said that she wouldn't contribute to
the to rent. If it would, it would help me definitely. It's

(01:03:37):
just really hard to explain that mygirlfriend, you know, like hey,
I even tried to explain it toher one saying that, like, hey,
this would make it matters easier. But she's just not having it with
oh there's another woman there, no, no boy. So that's gonna with
her not living there or not movingin, it's just gonna put you deeper
in a financial situation. Well, yeah, if we're gonn be real about

(01:04:00):
it, yeah it would. Okay, maybe she's just jealous because she's this
girl's moving in pretty quickly after fourmonths. Yeah, it could be that,
and she probably wants to live withyou. Yeah, like this is
one how she gets it right. So far as she ever thought about you
guys, ever talked about her movingin with you guys, well none never
came off. All right, allright, if we can put them on

(01:04:24):
hold. There's a situation. Youhave two roommates, Michael and James h.
Michael has been seeing a young ladyfor four a month. She got
kicked out of her place, soshe's been sneaking in on the slide in
their place for two weeks. She'sbeen cooking and cleaning when they're sleep,
she's at work. When they're atwork, she's asleeps don't even know if
she's there. James mentioned that heloves the place, has been cleaning the

(01:04:45):
hot meal that the man's girl's beendoing it, and he says, hey,
by the way, man, howabout letting her move in. We'll
split the rent three ways because asyou know, I've been covering the mint
the rent for the last two months. Because you got this little financial thing
that you're going through, it willwork out for all of us. Michael's
I mean, James said, Iain't got no pride, but my girlfriend
saying no. She said she doesnot want another woman living in the apartment

(01:05:06):
full time. All right, ifyou side with Michael, the girlfriend would
move in. If you side withJames, she will not. Who do
you side with? Four oh sevennine one nine one or six seven eight
seven seven nine one nine one orsix seven The Excel mobile you want to
answer there is four one o sixseven. Social media live stream is all

(01:05:27):
up there. They're waiting to hearfrom you. Who do you side with?
On sidetakers? Did the girlfriend movein? Or did she not move
in? Let us know and we'llfind out what you're thinking. We come
back on Johnny's house see and they'renot even talking about rain. But they
say later in the week we mightbe able to get some All right,
we got sidetakers. You got Michaeland James. They've been roommates for about
a year and a half, havean amazing place. Michael's been seeing a
girl for about four months. Lastmonth she had little problem with her roommates

(01:05:50):
had to move out. She's beenliving with friends until two weeks ago,
and that's when she said James say, hey, you can come in and
stay with us. She's been livingthere Mike said, you can live with
us. She's been living there fora while, She's been cooking and cleaning,
and James has no idea. He'smentioned that, Hey man, I
love the fact that the places beencleaned lately, and we got hot dinner,
and say, you know what, let men tall something. My girl's

(01:06:11):
been here, living here for thelast two weeks. You haven't even noticed
her. She has two jobs. She will never be a problem. Plus,
I've been covering your rent for abouttwo months. I think we should
move and she should move in.James got a problem. His only objective
is his girlfriend does not want anotherwoman living in the apartment. If he
sided with Michael, the girlfriend willmove in and pay a third of the
rent. You side with James, she will not because James don't want no

(01:06:34):
problems with his girlfriend. Who doyou side with? On sidetakers? Hey,
Patty, Hey, good morning everyone, Good morning? Who do you
side with? I side with?Michael needs to tell his girlfriend that unless
she bonies us part of the moneyand she helps out with rent and gets
food on the table and roof overhis hat, she doesn't have a say

(01:06:56):
in the matter. Okay, let'ssay that you, as his girlfriend,
and that's never been mentioned before.Well, how would you handle that?
I wouldn't handle it. I wouldn'tworry about it at all. And I'm
confident in myself. I'm not worriedabout some other woman comes no, no,
no, no. What I'm sayingthat if you if if he's coming
in and say, hey, Ineed you to help me pay some bills,
what would you say? Well, then I would say, oh,

(01:07:18):
okay, okay, because I wouldn'tI don't live there. YEA not a
confident woman. James's girlfriend is nota confident woman. If she was a
confident woman within herself and the inthe situation she's in, then she wouldn't

(01:07:38):
have an issue with this whole scenario. She's got somebody that lives there during
the day while they're at work, and then she's gone at night. At
night, she keeps the house clean, she brings food into the house,
and she's paying half of the rentbecause apparently James can't afford it right now.
So I don't think that James's girlfriendhas a say in the matter at
all. And honestly, James needsto uh get some you know, and

(01:08:04):
he needed to grow all right.Patty we'll put you down for that.
Okay, all right, y'all havea great man. Thank you for sharing
item. Man if paying the bills? Alicia, good morning, Good morning?
All right? Who do you sidewith? Um? I side with
Michael. I don't think it's abig deal of that his girlfriend moves in,

(01:08:27):
they're not home at the same time. And if James is having a
hard time paying his rent and stuff, I mean, I'm not gonna help
him pay his rent if I washis girl, so I'd say whatever,
you're whatever you have to do tomake your financial situation better. Well,
doesn't that make you out closer thatyou bailed him out and you play his
rent for a couple of months toget out of that situation? Now,
y'all closest I had the money andhe really needed it. Well, I

(01:08:49):
think he really needed it. Ifhis friend is paying is bout the rent,
I think he really needs I don'tknow. I might be wrong home,
Yeah, but how long? Howlong are you going to help him?
You know how long you're gonna loveme? That's all I'm trying to
say. I ain't paying for nothingnow I'm live in so I love is
based on how much money you're gonnahelp me with here. I would help
him a little, but so much. I need you to help me.

(01:09:13):
I need you to help me alot. I don't need a little,
I need a lot. It wouldhelp if Michael moved his girl. Okay,
exactly a couple of dollars, butI'm not floating the whole thing.
All right, we got you downfor the at least, thank you,
all right? Right, what they'resaying over that, I'm kind of hard
not to find somebody that's not votingfor Michael. Let her move in,

(01:09:34):
no disrespect um. Anybody saying, hey, don't let no woman up in
your house. None of that,Michael, she needs to move in Michael's
girlfriend sounds like a treasure wink winkme what they say Excel mobile powered by
Attorney Dan Newland and therect need acheck called Dan Newlander. Is a few
for James getting there, but mostlyMichael saying. Yeah. What they're saying

(01:09:56):
for James anything, just just James, Yeah, yeah, very much.
They have no argument. Dang uhtherese where they staying on lunch? Yeah,
the same thing. Naja though shesaid that she's not a fan of
the sneaking around part, but what'sfunny, Tricia, She said, insecure
girlfriends are dinglings. I don't knowwhy something was so funny, hey ding
Okay, all right, you stillgot time to cash your vote and beside

(01:10:17):
with Michael. The girlfriend moving insidewith James, she will not because his
girlfriend does not like it. Fouror seven nine one nine one or six
seven eight seven seven nine one nineone or six seven. You know where
we're leaning. But we'll get theofficial outcome when we come back on Johnny's
house. Kind of winner upside takers. We have Michael and James, their
roommates been roommate for a while.Michaels been seeing a young lady for about
four months. Last month had aproblem with her roommate, had to move

(01:10:40):
out, was living with some friends. Then, without James's knowledge, Michael's
girlfriend has been living with them whileJames and Michael at work. She cleans,
she cooks, she does everything, and then she goes to work late
at night, and when James issleeping she comes back. So their schedules.
She never seen him well. Jamesmentioned, Hey, Mike, I
love the way the place looks lately. Man. We got dinner every night,
and say, man, let metell you something. Man. My
girlfriend's been living here for about twoweeks and you didn't even notice. So

(01:11:03):
I'm just saying, hey, whydon't she live here full time? We
can split the rent three ways. And by the way, bro, I've
been covering your rent for two monthsbecause you know you got a little situation
going on. James like, look, I don't have problem with this,
but I talked to my girlfriend andshe does not want another woman living in
the apartment. Okay, So ifyou sighed with Michael, the girlfriend will
move in. You sighed with James, she will not. It was a

(01:11:25):
landslide. You guys call through thehouse phones, you text the Xcel mobile,
and you signed it with Michael,Michael, Juan. How are you
feeling, Mike? I feel greatabout it. I mean I think James
does too, honestly. I mean, you know, it's really it's really
his girlfriend rather the issue. James, how do you feel? How are
you gonna handle this? Well?Financially it helps, so I'm happy about
that. My bank accounts happy.Yeah. And the cleaning and the co

(01:11:50):
yeah, for sure. You knowI definitely had. But now the question
is is how am I gonna talkabout Well, here's the thing. If
you've been dating a while, yougotta had hard conversation. Say, hey,
here's the thing, babe. Youknow we've been dating a while.
I'm hurting financially. Can you helpme? Because if you can't help me,
this girl is moving in and yousay you ain't the bossom me.

(01:12:15):
You don't live here. Yeah, you don't get to have a say here.
I'm telling you, I think thatprobably deep down inside she wants to
live with you as well. Yea, look at it from like a female.
Well, yeah, you've never askedme. What all of a sudden
there's another young lady moving in.Yeah, that could have been me.
Yeah, and he's only been seeingher a couple of months. He's moving
in. We've been dating for acouple of years and you let me move
in. Um, James, yousee that relationship going to the next level.

(01:12:38):
It's something that considered that I actuallydidn't even think about aking you.
So I'm glad that, uh comeon here because you give me ideas.
Yeah, I mean imagine paying thesplitting round four ways. Oh god,
that's so many people. That's takinga bigger place. Yeah, goodness,
Well, Michael, how are yougonna tell your girl that she can move
in. I mean, because she'sbeen sneaking around. Does she know that?

(01:13:00):
James? No, she's been sneakingaround or have you been hit?
You hit that from her too?No? No, I mean she knows,
she knows. I mean, anduh, you know the sin as
I get off with you, I'llprobably give her a tong and give really
good news. Okay, Well,I mean, don't let us make that
ship point you. This is you, guys, do what you want to
do. I want to do.We just told you what the people are
saying. And uh, James,I hope it works out. But maybe

(01:13:21):
this could be opening the doors toa new uh direction in your relationship with
your lady in relationship or a newrelationship. Yeah, we'll see, crossing
my fingers to that one. Somuch enthusiastic. All right, guys,
good luck. I hope it allworks out for you. And thank you
getting up, thank you for callingus so side takes, all right,

(01:13:42):
thank you? All right, it'scrazy talk. He doesn't sound too enthusiastic
about it, no relationship and anything. He's like, man, I'm just
saying, I mean, you know, you got a lady in your life
and your your roommate having a coveryou and she ain't trying to chip in
on nothing. Well, I mean, I don't understand why you keep on
that lady pay her my man's ray, she don't live there. Yeah,
you're my girlfriend. I'm you're mygirlfriend, never a life any of my

(01:14:11):
girlfriend's bills that we've been doing fora while, and man, I want
you moving, but I got acouple of dollars. I'm just I ain't
ask I'm gonna pay it back, just like I'm gonna pay James back.
With you, my girl, Iwas wondering how about live with me?
Before I actually just went ahead andpaid the rent. Yeah, I don't

(01:14:31):
know. You had to test thewaters out. I didn't paying any renty
that. I'm just saying. I'mjust I'm not paying no one's bills.
I don't live with me. I'mtelling you, she's probably just jealous of
this other bro that's like moving inright the blue moves in and I ain't
moving it. Yeah, well whatabout me? I don't think that relationship
gonna laugh, But I ain't gonnado with me all right. Celebrity news,
Ray, what's up? Do yousee these allegations about tight endo,

(01:14:53):
what's up everybody? This is Justineanything. Hey, it's a little jet
now The Johnny's House Entertainment News withRay so Tegger was in his public split
with Erica Herman is kind of gettingnastier. Listen, you don't tell what

(01:15:14):
they say. Hell has no furylike a woman's scoring. You don't tell
a woman that y'all have a littleproblem in a relationship. The packing bags,
we're going on a little vacation totry to rekindle. Hey, your
boys taking to the airport. Asthey get the bags out of the car,
she goes, well, heady, let me tell you, this ain't
no trip, and you ain't comingback to the house because we locked the
door. The story to the story, I feel like maybe she wouldn't leave

(01:15:42):
the premise something like all of that. I totally believe that leave. I
get all that. But you can'texpect her just to sit back and go
okay. Because when he met her, she was a general manager of his
restaurant. So once they start dating, she gave up her look career and
she was living a big life, jet setting all over the place. Then

(01:16:03):
your career as a waitress. Ithink she was a general manager she was
a waitress and carry the race. This is yeah, it doesn't matter.
I mean because once we're not datingno more. I don't got to support
you for nothing. Okay, Sowhat is happening right now? She's now
accusing him of sexually harassing her onmultiple occasions during the relationship. She made
allegations in a new court document thatwas filed on Friday this past week that

(01:16:26):
he sexually or harassed her shortly aftershe began working for him at the restaurant,
which was The Woods Jupiter and So. In the documents, it says
that he personally hired her in twentyfourteen, developed a romantic relationship with her
in twenty seventeen. She claims thathe then forced her to sign an NDA
or else she would be fired fromher job. Okay, So what she's

(01:16:48):
claiming is that a boss imposing differentwork conditions on his employee because of their
sexual relationship is sexual harassment. Sothat is where she's claiming sexual harassment.
Then she comes back again in thedocuments and says in twenty twenty two,
she alleged that because their sexual relationshiphad ended, he kicked her out of

(01:17:09):
their home, which she claims isclear sexual harassment. So I don't understand
that part. That's what the landlordsaid in the documents. The landlord made
the availability of her housing condition basedon having sexual relationships with the code tenant.
That conduct amounts to sexual harassment underthe federal and Florida Fair Housing.

(01:17:30):
Some lawyers working hard behind can youbreak up with someone then they don't You
don't get to live in their houseanymore. And that's what she's claiming sexual
harassment is is that their sexual relationshipended, so he kicked her out of
the housing conditions are like his lawyersare saying, you broke the NDA,
we don't have to talk to anybodyin the NBA. It says if we

(01:17:51):
have any type of problem, wego to a meet like a moderate media
mediative and we work it out.So what you're doing, I'm sewing you
because you broke the NDA, andI don't know what if you know?
INDIA means that means non disclose youragreement, which I mean you can't disclose
anything brings up. She's saying documentsis that this happened before. So the

(01:18:14):
NDIA means I can't talk about anythingafter I signed it. Right, She's
she's got a point with the Wellssituation. I don't think she has a
point. I think she has alegal leg to stand on because she is
an employee and she's being treated differentthan other employees. But you're also hooking
up with the boss. So that'swhat happens. The housing thing, the
landlord and the availability of like stayingin a house because you're having sexual orld.

(01:18:35):
To me, that's crazy because whatyou're doing is rewriting breakups for everybody
in the world under That's why Iwas like, oh my gosh, under
her federal and Florida fair housing laws, that's a thing. Well, that's
a thing that's like, let's sayI'm not married, but I live in
my home and me and Race startdating, and then she moves in with
me. But when I dating nomore, I can't kick her out because
because then it's I'm a landlord becauseI own the house and she's living with

(01:18:57):
me. I can't kick her out. Now I've heard, of course I
can. I've heard, I heard. If I don't know about this again,
this is this is this street lawtalking that if you stay with someone
for a certain number of years, they can be considered a common law.
Why there are common law types butnot that show. No no no no
no no, no no no.You have to evict someone when they get
when they start getting mail delivered toyour house. Got to go through the

(01:19:19):
full eviction process. I get allthat, But what they're saying is,
I can't kick you out if westop hooking up, well, because then
it's fair housing. I can Ican never speak the minds of a woman,
but I'm just putting myself in herposition. Okay, I worked at
the little restaurant. We start dating, you jet set me all around where
I'm sitting front row VP. Everythingwe go, Okay, we're having a
great life. Everything is going well. In my mind, I think we're

(01:19:41):
gonna be together forever. Little Iknow you're playing things may because I don't
want to see it, but that'swhat's going on. So you're playing things.
All a sudden, you're not talkingto me anymore, and then you
your boys tell me we're going ona little trip, and my heart is
saying, okay, we don't gettingtogether. All of a sudden, I
get back all my stuff. Yeah, I gotta get back at you with
this and these filing of the documents. This makes me like one hundred percent

(01:20:02):
believe that she would not leave thepremise, leave his rouse. So he
had to get her out some wayand said, we're going on a trip,
baby, but no we're not. We'll see his thing. She wants
thirty million. She wants thirty milliondollars. Give me a million. I'll
make this go away. I justhate when people do this because it throws
around sexual harassment for people that arereally harassed too. It drives me crazy

(01:20:24):
because that's that's not real harassment. That is you upset at your situation.
And Tiger's got a whole lot ofmoney. But I gotta do something because
right now, well, and that'sa hot button because who can I mean,
I'm probably gonna get an email fromquestioning sexual arasment because you can't.
You can't really say someone didn't getharassed. But in this case, based
on these facts, it don't soundlike well, she's arguing in the documents
too, that the NDA she hadwith that Tiger Woods should be declared unenforceable

(01:20:47):
under the Federal Speak Out Act,which prohibits the you know, if you
yeah, you've been assaulted, youlived with him after the fact, I
know you're totally cool, flying everywhere. What do you think if you think
about this, I know, wegotta wrap it up. Here's the thing.
If you meet anyone, you gottaget to know them. Yeah.
So if I'm getting to know you, I've If it doesn't work out,

(01:21:11):
I've harassed you. But all I'mtrying to do is get to know you.
Right, You see what I'm saying. Well, she she said he's
haras because she was forced to signa document that no one else that works
there was forced because she was havingsexual because of me and I hook were
together now, right and I'm famous, and so to be around me for
outside of you understand you've got asign this period. Yeah, but then
when that harassment started, the NDAshould be unenforceable, is what she's climbing.

(01:21:34):
What you lived with them for yearsafter that, you went on cruises
in vacations. Then you were sittingup there cheering for him. When you
say cruise, did you mention thatthe yacht was in the backyard? Didn't
saying it's crazy to me, Imean maybe they went on carnival. I
don't know, they got sweets, but maybe they wanted to go on a
fund ship. I don't know I'msaying. I hate what you're saying,

(01:21:54):
but I'm like, I'm gonna justget what you can, get what you
can. All Right, we comeback, Let's find out what it's trending.
We'll do it next. The lastcontest nine eleven. It is Johnny's
housepaking to be Sunday today. Eightyeight is are high. It is seventy
right now, a lot of stuffgoing on in the resent. What is
trending, ma'am trending? Today? We have National Teacher's Day. Okay,

(01:22:15):
yes, because they've been celebrated forlike a two to three weeks now,
it's like the whole weekday, thenational day. My county they do it.
Yeah, weird. Yeah, theday is the actual official day.
Okay. It's also National Moscato Day. Yeah. I'm not a wine drinker,
but I can have. Yeah,it's kind of sweet. Yeah.
It's also Tear the Tag off yourMattress Day, which I thought was hilarious.
It has a day, it hasoff say that's illegal, and the

(01:22:41):
story it is when you get homebecause do not tear the tag. That's
running joke. Not tear to tag. And then yesterday with National no sack
Day. But today is National lostsock Day, don't. I don't know
where these days are coming. Ido have one last sock. I'm keeping
it in majority because I know theother one's gonna pop up somewhere, probably
Sun's room somewhere, because he stoleit. I wo the same type of
white socks or I don't lose him, so just match him up same here.

(01:23:04):
But these are some of my inlike nice color socks, and I
know he got one of them.I know it. I'm not throwing all
the way because I know it's gonnapop back up, all right. And
in other trending news, apparently there'sthis really popular trend on TikTok of wrapping
ice cream with fruit roll ups,um, and it's caused a shortage of
fruit roll ups in Israel. Sothis couple, this American couple got caught

(01:23:25):
trying to smuggle six hundred and fiftypounds of fruit roll ups, which I
saw this on techtop. Yeah,if you like, put the ice cream
with the fruit roll up and itgets like really really hard, yeah,
and he'd like crack it open andyeah, yeah, I feel like I
couldn't try that. I'm good andwe'll pass on that. Yeah. Yeah.
Also this week, there's tons ofplaces that are giving teachers discounts and

(01:23:48):
freebees for a teacher appreciation week.Just to quickly name a few, um
Firehouse, sub Sonic in Samnia, cookies that app Headspace, and Costco.
So okay, I look into that. I think the teachers they know.
Yeah, yeah, they're getting freestuff. Yeah, for sure, for
sure. And lastly, we gotSeaWorld Orlando is having a Mayhem flash sale.

(01:24:10):
It's offering a special discount for HollowScream. It's happening September eighth through
the third October thirty first, andguests can purchase two tickets for thirty six
ninety nine each and this deal willend May fourteen. Yeah, that's how
you do it. Take advantage ofit now, you're gonna regret it later.
All right, We'll come back, man. There's an old restaurant been
gone in Orlando now still around CentralFlorida, but it's been gone from Orlando
and it's coming back. We're wannatalk about some restaurants from back in the

(01:24:30):
day that you wish would return. We're gonna get it to that. This
is Johnny's House was on a Tuesday, and we're looking for a high today
of about eighty eight. Is seventytwo right now, and it's gonna be
mostly sunny. And we've talked aboutthis this restaurant before, and it's coming
back to Central Florida. And nowI's already in a couple of places around
Central Florida, but it's gonna beright here in Orlando. We're talking about

(01:24:53):
Fazzoli's. It's gonna come back.I'm got giving too much information because y'all
ain't paying for this. It's gonnabe on East col Onnial and Benett where
the old Boston Market it used tobe. Now I remember back in the
day, used to be in Longwood. Oh yeah, And I should drive
from the radio station going they getsome of them bread sticks and back in
the day, back in the day, they say they had them in Altimont

(01:25:14):
Springs and cause send me and allover the place. But back in the
day, your fast food choices weren'tas vast, so it was like a
burger spot or a burger spot ortacco bell. Yeah, and then always
came out to the scene like theynever had is forgetting meat balls. Put
the big beat balls on it andputting the contain and then you give it
these bread sticks. That was offthe change. Well, now you have
a ton of fast option oh everythingthat's but before it used to be a

(01:25:36):
couple of burger places and Taco bell. Now so Forzzoli's bumped dang, that
was delicious. Yet your Italian foodon the go? Yeah, and it
was weird, like, man,you can make pasta on the go.
But yeah, they've been around. They already have restaurants and they say Claremont,
Plant City, Tampa. Yeah, the Claremont When we stopped back sometimes
because it's five house if we're onthat side of town, we stopped there.
So I want to talk about somerestaurants that we're here in central Florida

(01:25:58):
that used to love that are nolaw hunger here. And I found this
list and here's two of them thatI used to love. And I thought
this was a place we used toball out. It was Lee's Lakeside.
It's right there on Lake Yola.I think it is. Um it's the
Beer Place, World of Beer.Oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah,
but it was right there on thecorner. And now this one back in
the day was if I wanted toimpress the girl. It was the place

(01:26:18):
to go. It was called Arthur'stwenty seventh. It was on the twenty
seventh floor of the Bank American Buildingdowntown. I've been there, You've been.
Yeah, I didn't even know therewas a restaurant. I had a
lot of people down, but itwas you go up there that got the
lights down low, got going, and I mean it was a premiere date.

(01:26:43):
Now you see the city and itwas all glass. Yeah yeah,
yeah, you went up there. You don't spend some money, but it
was like they had a little specialelevator. The person was like, wow,
twenty seventh, Yes, a littlejacket on. We have reservation.

(01:27:12):
Got a restaurants back in the day. Well, I loved Benigans. Bennigans
was the deal. Oh yeah rightthere in the Yeah, yeah, these
have Benigans. They had a sandwichcalled the Turkey o Tool was a turkey
sandwich with some Swiss and bacon andit was on a pretzel roll. Oh
yeah, we're going to come backgood. And then they also were the
first ones to do like this isbefore craft beer was big, so they

(01:27:33):
were the first ones to do likea like a beer list that was like
a hundred deep and give you likea passport that they would stamp so you
could try to drinkers. Nobody hadthat at the time. Yeah, I
don't know why they went under.I loved Bennigans. Yeah, and then
super old school. There was aplace that was in Longwood. It was
called g d Ritzi's real it wasThis is when I was a kid,
so it was probably before you guys. Um. It's kind of like an

(01:27:54):
old school diner. And they hadlike steak and shape tyke burgers, but
they also had like hot dogs thatwere like gourmet, and then they also
ice cream. Oh man. AndI used to love that place, and
it blew up. There was aton like and then all of a sudden
it fell and I think there's onlylike seven left in the whole country.
In the country. Yeah, NowI had not my other go to restaurant
from back in the day. OneI wanted to impress the ladies. It

(01:28:14):
was called Pebbles and it was weren'tright there in long words, and they
had to It's called the Chicken vesuvio. And in fact I knew how to
pronounce that. I ate that soI can impress the ladies. Oh yeah,
what do you have. Um,I'm gonna have. I'm gonna have
a base. I mean the badass. How about you? I like
the chicken vessuvio please sah, wow, You're not You're from you even you

(01:28:45):
would. I mean, I'm stilllearning my way around here in Orlando.
But down in South Florida, therewas a spot in a plaza that's super
popping in like a booka raton area, and it's it's replaced now with a
bowling spot. Yeah. And it'sfunny because every time I go down there,
I'm finding more and more changes arehappening. That was one of them
I've walked into. It was likethis Mexican restaurant isn't here anymore. Miami
Subs that came up, but theychanged it to something else. Then that's

(01:29:08):
like Miami Grill or something that. But Miami Subs came from South Florida and
people loved it here and then itjust went on one exit up yeah right
there, one percent that has nevertouched foot in there. Yeah. They
somebody bought it and changed it allup, missed everything. I want to
say, Pitpule is the one whobought the first company. Yeah, oh

(01:29:28):
man, bringing them back around. We want to hear from you restaurants they
were in Central Florida that are nolonger here. You're like and some of
them, I mean, like likePeoples is gone. That was it.

be performing that. Okay, allright, you want to pay, you
gotta tell us restaurants from Central Floridaback in the day. You used to

(01:30:12):

down memory lane and we'll hear nexton Johnny's House, Hartley, Cloudy Zoles
is coming to town after fifteen years. We canna talk about some restaurants from
back in the day that a noelonger here. Phil hit me up and
said, of Shells. Remember shellOh I do remember? Sheela? Oh
man, that's see what it wasone right, last one I think was
over by. Um what's the universitynow full? So full? Yeah?

(01:30:35):
Yeah, there's something else now.So when I used to when I first
started working here, Shells would showup at our events, ye, at
all of our remotes, and theywould bring up this portable like grill and
they would cook up yea lobster pasta. Yeah yeah, man, that was
it. I was like, dude, I love working here, so we're

(01:30:57):
gonna hook you up. I gottapair of tickets to see Disney's Coca in
concert. We're talking about the musicat the DUCS Philip Center in November.
At twenty six. We got tohear about them restaurants from back in the
day. Hey, Cheryl, Hi, how are you doing good? Good?
Tell someone's back in the day hereand cent you Florida no longer here?
Okay. My restaurant was Steak andAle. Yeah, ring, Yeah,
wasn't it right? Wasn't that right. Wasn't that next to Bennigins?

(01:31:20):
Yes, yeah, but listen tothis. So I used to love their
mud pie. Yes, And Imade a goal for myself to lose ten
pounds. And when I lost theten pounds, I was going to go
to Steak and Ale and get mudpie. So I met my goal.
I went to the restaurant and theytook the mud pie off the menu.
No, that's probably even harder thanthe restaurant going down. I know,

(01:31:43):
it wasn't there. Oh, Iwas terrible. I was. I was
so upset that worked for nothing. We're talking about this off the air.
That was one of them date nightstoo. So Steak and Ale when I
first moved to Texas for the girlthat I dated in college, that's where
her dad took us out to dinnertoo. Show me how baller he was
to it. Baking ail all right, So you hold you hold on a

(01:32:04):
second. Say, let me showyou, young man. I gotta get
whatever you want it right, Hey, Tammy, good morning. Restaurants in
City, Florida no longer anymore.Girl. Oh, there's a lot of
Bubba rooms. I didn't get itbecause it had just didn't either, like
like somebody's grandmother's old closet, shrugeverything out of everyone's old slawa and put

(01:32:29):
it up on the wall. Yes, you could sit there. Every time
you went you would see something newand different or weird. But they didn't
move stuff around or aunt any thingmore stuff. No, yeah, that
I mean that would family get togetherdinner. That's where we would get I
remember I remember sitting there again ona date night, and all of a
sudden, a little train just gavewho who went right through the table.

(01:32:49):
I'm like, what kind of placesdo? Yeah? What kind of I
had? I had a gentleman takeme there for dinner, and I've thought,
what day heck, raggedy old placeis this? When we walked in,
I'm thinking, oh my god,it was kind of dark. Yep,
yep, it was a good Thereason was like, what kind of
food today? Sir? Do youremember? You don't want? I don't.

(01:33:12):
I was trying to think what Iate when I went there. I've
left a lot of lights sense then, Yeah, I thought it was fancy.
It was. It was fancy.I mean you had to have reservations
to get there. You're saying thatthere's clothes hanging on the wall. It
was just like supposed to be likethis eclectic, like just random stuff.
And I always, I was younger, I always thought, oh, we
could never afford to go there.Yeah. I went in. I'm like,

(01:33:32):
I'm like, you gotta go tothe bubble room. Went to the
bubble room like man like somebody tocloset. It looked like I honestly,
you know, it looked like itlike a fire trap. Yeah, that's
what it looked like. Right, you hold on one second here and uh
Andy, what's going on? Bro? The good morning to you, Good
morning to you, Andy. Restaurantsthat are no longer here, um Maryland

(01:33:56):
Fried Chicken, I think, yeah, I just closed that one up.
I used to go to that onetoo, and I know quite a close
up service. That was horrible andthere forever, Oh my god, everything
about it was horrible, But thefood I loved it. You you looked
at it, it was a holein the wall. You drove her back
and it looked like you're gonna getmobbed. Yeah, yeah, and you
board seemed like from nineteen twenty.Yes, I went I went there.

(01:34:17):
I went there a go ahead. You would not look at that place and
buy food if you didn't know that. I know, just coming from out
of town. It was just oneof those that oh yeah, food was
so good. I remember last timeI was there was last year and I
wanted like a three piece box,and the ladies here like all I got
his wings and I'm like okay, and she calls it back. Hey,

(01:34:40):
dropped some way eggs. Yeah,I said, okay. She said,
half a seat. It's gonna takea while. Okay, can I get
some fries and that? Oh yeah, And they just dumped up like eighteen
pounds of fries in that box.I remember better than that. I went,
I went over there for chicken, and uh, it's a chicken joint
and they told me they had nochicken. Hey, well, let me
just to have a large frize.Oh I'm sorry, we don't have fries

(01:35:01):
right now. You're gonna have towait till seem twenty minute. We gotta
drop the fries. We gotta dropthem. Yea, I remember that.
I remember that. You hold ona second. It's like bubble room was
a little bit of everything they have, like the balsamic glazed chicken man chicken
breasts, like South of the Borderchicken. By the look of the manul
It doesn't look appealing. The placewas kind of like that. This is

(01:35:24):
in the eighties though, yes, like this is the whole idea of it
was. It was supposed to belike this, eclectic, like just mix
of everything. Yeah, and justby the talk of it, it makes
me feel like I'd be walking intosomething that small mother's clause. No,
no, but you had to havereservation. No no, it was the
big deal. You couldn't. Youcouldn't get in there be I'm gonna roll
up in here, Excel, goodmorning. Who's this? Suzanne tells about

(01:35:45):
the place back in the day.No longer here Pebble. I mentioned Pebbles.
Hey, I told you I usedto go to one of Altimont.
No, I think it was along wood Well no, well I'm thirty
four when they had one downtown.I told I told the guys I used
to go down order the chicken basuvio. That was a deal. It looked
like a baller, was right,it was. It was wonderful. It

(01:36:08):
was. I always got the duck, yes, which was awesome. Yes,
it tastes and cargo and cargo youhold on second, be what they
saying, see Xcel Mobile Power byattorney Dan Nel Interact need a check called
Dan McCormick and Schmidts. Yes,that great seafood. Yeah, they were,
I think around. I don't thinkthey're here. I don't think they're
here. Yeah, there was around, Mam Millennia is right, that's right,

(01:36:30):
that's right there. I had agift certificate I got from here though,
for a one hundred and fifty dollars, and that still didn't cover everything.
Was so expensive. But I waslike, good Lord, really had
to scrape together the rest because Iwas broke at the time. Anything over
there, Yeah, we got laurels, she said, angels. Yeah,
I think they might have one onone two and sent me yeah, might

(01:36:54):
not. It's just not corporate, don't anymore. They had one right downtown.
It was at the on the cornerof fifty and I think Garland that
goes into downtown. Ok, yes, right, the hotel, Oh yeah,
right there bas at that hotel.Didn't they have one in in Longwood?
I think they did? Yeah? All right, Well, Tammy,
who brought back memories of the bubbleRoom, gonna hook it with a pair
of tickets to see Disney's Cocoa inConcerty. Doctor Phillips Center on November twenty

(01:37:17):

I've time to get out of here. His rage with you guys.
Let's be fun. I'm excited tosit back and watch and then I'm getting

(01:37:39):
another facial and then I'm going topick up the kids and we have a
little pool date with some of ourfriends. Very good the date plan,
and it's gonna be hot too.Something there is what you got going on?
Girl? Other than the meeting umand editing a lot of videos today.
My hair will be soon. Thecolor of my shirt purple? Yes,
sir? Why did you choose that? I don't know. I just
wanted something funky but like nice anappealing, and I feel like purple is

(01:38:00):
