fans to make us there first listenevery day on their way to work or

(01:10):
while they're making breakfast, whatever itis. And today, James, we
dive into a couple of other superstars, so every day ors tho that we
had a big Joe Burrow episode yesterdayas he had his offseason meeting with the
media and one of what I assumewill be not a whole lot of media
contact with Jamar Chase and T Higginsat least for a while. Here also
happened on Tuesday in the locker room. Got to hear some updates from Jamar

(01:37):
Chason T Higgins. And let's startwith Jamar Chase, shall we, the
other former LSU megastar, now aCincinnati Bengals megastar, had a lot of
interesting things to talk about. Whatreally stood out to me, James,
and maybe this isn't what really stoodout to you, but was when Jamar

(02:00):
was talking about why he was atthe OTAs and how he was encouraging te
Higgins to also come to the OTAs, and it reminded me last year of
when he said he never wanted tocome off the field. He said,
a big part of it is justfitness, getting that cardio level up,
keeping that cardio level up, becausehe never wants to come off the field.

(02:23):
He wants as many snaps on thefield with T Higgins specifically, which
is why he said he encouraged heHiggins to also get the extra work in
as possible, and he was offto a good start in that respect last
year James before his injury, andsure that's just adding more field to the
fire for him to try to stayon the field as much as possible,

(02:44):
No doubt, No, I thinkJamar Chase is one of those freaks,
and he has the work ethic toback it up. He could be the
best. He would be the bestreceiver arguably in the league, even if
he didn't put this type of work. And so we talk a lot about
expectations for Joe Barrow and people aretalking MVP and MVP odds and all of
those things. Let's talk about JamarChase for a second, because that dude

(03:08):
bawled out despite dealing with an injuryand the best news that And I guess
you could have had this takeaway, had this thought given the power clean video
that went viral that we talked about, given some of the offseason workouts.
But Jamar Chase, don't worry aboutthat hip injury. Boom. It's the

(03:31):
best thing, he said. It'sthe best thing anybody said, honestly on
Tuesday, because even the Boroque contractstuff, we'll see, right, But
there was some speculation, certainly onour end, what will he need surgery?
Is he going to have to dealwith that hip? Is that going
to linger? All of those thingsalways one percent? And to your point
on the fitness aspect of things,he's doing all of the track work that

(03:54):
he did last year preparing the sameway. I think he looks a little
thicker too. I know people talkedabout Joe Burrow, but I think he's
even in better shape now than hewas a year ago two years ago.
Part of that is just age andcontinuing to lift and growing into his maned
body since he came into the leagueat a young age. He's just twenty

(04:15):
three years old now. So Iexpect Jamar Chase to have a monster year
and you would think, oh,well, he's thinking two thousand yards.
I know that was something he talkedabout last offseason. He's actually got his
eye on t J. Hushminzada's recordreceptions record for a season one hundred and
twelve. And I remember when TJcaught that one hundred and twelve pass.

(04:38):
I believe it was oh seven. It was in a meaningless game. The
Bengals were not seven. It soundsright, I six or seven either way,
the Bengals were not going to makethe playoffs. He got that pass,
so hopefully Jamar eclipses that one twelvemark, and it has a lot
to do with the Bengals getting theone seed. Yeah, I mean,
you hope that that's the outcome.I mean, talked about wanting to break

(05:00):
every record. I love that hehas different records in mind every year,
just just a little something different. And he said he wasn't going to share
all of his goals. That's nothis only goal for this year. Obviously,
the super Bowl the goal every year, that's one obvious one. It's
you mentioned that he's looking a littlestronger. It's crazy how good he's been,

(05:23):
how young he's been. All ofthe research out there on wide receiver
primes, wide receiver peaks, thatsort of thing, those are happening from
age twenty three to age thirty. He's entering his age twenty three season.
I mean, you're generally seeing theprime for guys later in their careers than

(05:45):
twenty one twenty two. I meanalmost always, even for some of the
greats, the exception being Justin Jefferson, who had one of the best years
ever in twenty twenty two is seventeengame season, but he was twenty three
years old for that season, andit's easy to remember, not easy to
forget that they came in one yearafter the other. And Jamar's a year

(06:11):
younger, so he gets a chanceto always do. Okay, what we
saw with Jefferson did, now, let's see what we Jamarta. But even
some of the greats like Randy Mosstwenty six and thirty were his most productive
seasons in terms of age. AntonioBrown twenty six, twenty seven, Calvin
Johnson twenty six, Marvin Harrison thirty, Cooper Cups Big Year twenty eight.

(06:33):
That's why the age thing is sointeresting and so impressive with Jamar Chase is
that he's just entering his twenty threeage twenty three season and we've seen greatness
from him already, but we shouldnot. If we should not expect to
have seen his best, we shouldexpect to see his best in the next

(06:53):
handful of years in Cincinnati. AndI think the interesting part of this is
you mentioned the one hundred and twelvereceptions. While as a rookie, he
wasn't used that way. It wasgo ball city last year. They found
some different ways to get him theball. Just throughout the offense, and
obviously they moved him into the slotand those type of things. Hopefully they

(07:14):
can have the nice mixture of bothwhere you're getting the big plays this year,
you're getting the yards after catch plays. Then we saw those last year
certainly before the hip injury. Andif you have that balance, I think
there's a path for him to havethe biggest year, not just of his
career, but can set some ofthose Bengals records and continue to do that

(07:35):
and it just be kind of inrhythm with the offense where he's not getting
force fed the ball. I thinkpart of it with Justin Jefferson and I'm
not saying he's not a great player, but last year Adam feeling in and
out of the lineup. He waskind of their guy ierf Smith injured by
the way, which we'll hear fromJamal and if Smith coming up like,
they didn't have a ton of weaponsand so you kind of have to go

(07:57):
that route with the Bengals. It'ssort of the opposite. But if the
offensive line holds up and Burrow doesplay like an MVP, this offense should
hit that thirty point mark that lackedon Bengals. Listeners know that I hold
them to that type of standard.I think they can be the best offense
in the league partially a big partof it. You have arguably the best

(08:18):
quarterback or second best, whatever youwant to say, and then a guy
in Jamar Chase, who by theend of this year I think could establish
himself as the best receiver in theleague. I think that's possible. I'm
not saying it's going to be signed, sealed, delivered, or and that
Vikings fans would sign off on it, or that even Raiders fans or whatever
receiver you want to say is thebest in the league. But I think

(08:39):
Jamar is already in the conversation andcould vault himself to that spot. You're
gonna have Miami fans arguing too, probably because that's what they like to do.
Jaylen Waddle, Wow Hire Hill A. J. Brown. I mean
everyone's going to argue, right, people argue I'm not great, agree with
them, but will be content forus at some point. No, Jamar

(09:03):
should be fantastic, and you're right, I mean the difference in Cincinnati maybe
not Miami. They have they havea couple of guys on there that are
very productive, but with a lotof teams is just how much they use
all their weapons. But you're right, this should be an elite offense thirty
points or not, best offense ofthe league or not, whatever you want
to label it, it should bean elite offense that is winning them a

(09:24):
lot of football games. IRV Smitha new part of that, and Jamar
Chase has known IRV Smith for avery long time. Not sure how well
known this is, so let's hearfrom Jamar Chase on IRV Smith, then
transition to T Higgins and his commentscoming up next. Today's show is brought

Chasing erf Smith go Way Back,James, and it sounds like Jamar is

(11:11):
very excited to have earth Smith asa teammate this time instead of an opponent
for the first time in a longtime. I was actually hype as hell.
Zach text me and uh, Iseen Zach like a dance in Jeff
when we got when we got Earth, because me and Earth used to work
out in high school together, sametrainer, and uh we go way back.
So it was pretty cool seeing Ervagain, seeing him out on the

(11:33):
field. You know, it feelsgood to see him, see you another
person. So you know, obviouslywhen he brings to the field, what
does he br I know exactly whathe's capable of. I played him against.
We played against each other in highschool too and in college, so
I mean we we've been following eachother the whole journey. Um, but
you know he gonna have I feellike he's good with the ball in his
hands. You know, he couldmake a play. He has yak.

(11:54):
He could definitely make a guy miss. You know, he's not the average
speed tight end, you know whatI'm saying. And you know what I'm
saying. He's a smart player too, you know what I'm saying. So
all that plays a part in hisgame. Love it. I love that
Jamar was hyped. Obviously, hetweeted about it when it happened, and
I think sent the same Jeff toZach Taylor. It sounds like and that's

(12:18):
kind of the hope I think forIRV Smith transitioning from Jamar to Irv.
You're talking about a guy that wasspecial too at a young age, was
an elite athlete at a young age, produced in high school, was a
top recruit all of those things, played at Alabama, and was a second
round pick at twenty years old, like Haydon Nurst was twenty five and I

(12:39):
believe twenty six something like that inhis first year twenty five when he was
drafted. This guy was a secondround pick and it just didn't work out
in Minnesota, mostly due to injury. But he's got the talent and so
hopefully he can stay healthy because Ithink if he stays healthy, he's going
to produce in this offense. Yeah, absolutely hard to see that athletics as

(13:00):
I'm not playing up. You mentionedthe age a big factor there, just
a year older, year and ahalf older, I guess then Jamar Chase.
It's crazy. I mean he's twentyfour right now. He'll be twenty
five for the season, right butyeah, it's unbelievable. Has time and
and for tight ends especially and we'vetalked about this with Er Smith a lot.

(13:20):
The development curve in the NFL tendsto take a little bit of time,
but when he's been on the field, he has produced. He just
needs to stay on the field. The physical development curve for all of these
players tends to max out in thetwenty three to twenty five to twenty seven.
It's like twenty three to twenty sevenwindow really for all positions in terms
of physical development. You're generally seeingthese guys max out with a little bit

(13:41):
of growth from twenty three to twentyseven, twenty eight, and then a
little bit of a plateau before youstart to see typically a little bit of
that decline starting. It tends tobe a slow start for that physical decline.
Anyway, All these guys very faraway from the start of their physical
declines and hitting their peaks, asis te Higgins, another young key member

(14:07):
of this team. A lot ofdiscussion this offseason about t higgins extension because
he is extension eligible and how thatwill fit in with Joe Burrows contract.
Is Joe Burrows talking about his awarenessof wanting to keep guys like t Higgins
and Jamarch chased around him. Jamaralso talked about wanting to keep those guys
around him for as long as hecould in Cincinnati, but T that extension

(14:30):
a big topic of attention this offseasonso far. Yeah, it's been a
huge topic. And he answered questionsabout the rumblings trade rumblings. He answered
questions about that, the rumor thathis deal was almost done or done,
and also just about coming to voluntaryRemember this is voluntary, and so some

(14:54):
guys that are eligible for extensions don'tshow up the voluntary workouts. Here's tea
on all of those top At theend of the day, I'm here for
me and you know, I wantto get my my body in the best
shape to play at the highest levelcome game time. I see the stuff
that people post on Twitter. Isee it. I don't really care,
you know what I'm saying. Atthe end of the day, I know
it's going on and other people don't. So did you buy any of the

(15:18):
weird trade stuff before the combine thatwas out there. I'm sure you saw
it. I've seen it, butI wasn't saying I wasn't tripping. I
know I wanted here at the endof the day, and um, I
knew I wasn't going nowhere. Anda lot of people texting me, man,
but I ain't texting back because Iknew it. It wasn't nothing done,
you know what I'm saying. Soyeah, and my mom texting me
was like, you gotta deal doingsomething. It's like, Mom, trust

(15:41):
me if I had a deal doneyou if you first though, she was
like, I thought so, Butyeah, man, it was it was
just you know, just just rumash. I love the uh, the conversation,
the text conversation with Tea's mom.I love that little that tidbit at
the end of that clip. Also, before I forget Jamar saying Jeff instead

(16:03):
of gift, I just want tothrow that to the internet so you guys
can debate that pronunciation again. Butlet's get back to tee Higgins. What
else stood out to you James ashe was talking at his locker. Yeah,
Jeff is the way it is tome. I think that's the way
it should have always been. Butforever, forever. I mean it's been

(16:25):
that way for fifteen years. Ithink where there's been a debate about that.
Literally Jamar Chase was it like eightand they were still talking about it.
That's it, te Higgins. Ithink you're getting a couple of things.
One he wants to be in Cincinnatiand is hoping a deal gets done,
but it's going to be a goodsoldier regardless, And I think that's

(16:45):
the most important thing when you're talkingabout this season. It's not going to
be he's not going to be adistraction. He's going to handle his business
and hopefully that deal comes. Butthe fact that he's there for voluntary stuff,
it's big. In the fact thatJamar, Chase and t have such
a bond, that's part of thekey here. You want to keep the

(17:07):
band together. That matters. Thatmatters a lot, It really does.
You know, if if Jesse Batescame up and was in a safety room
the entire time of his career, essentially is certainly the winning part of it
with a guy that was definitely staying. And I could say that about Jamar.
I don't think there's a really away the Bengals let him go anytime

(17:29):
soon, regardless of an extension ornot. You're talking what two more years
of a rookie deal fifth year optionthan two tags, and I think he
would be a rare two tag player. I mean, he's going to be
here for five years even if thereis no extension, So I think I
think that helps when it comes tohopefully keeping Tea around obviously all of the
other things. But he's going tobe a good soldier and is putting in

(17:52):
the time, is working hard, and hopefully he has a career year two.
I mean that's a part of it. He mentioned he was asked about
goals this season. He said, three one thousand yard receivers, obviously talking
about Chase himself and Tyler Boyd andget a ring. So I think those
are realistic. I think those arehonestly more realistic than at least the one

(18:15):
thousand yard marks than one hundred andtwelve receptions for Chase. I think that's
going to be tough to do.Oh. I think Jamark can do one
hundred and twelve just just for whateverhe can. But that's thirty more catches
versus Boyd getting another one hundred andfifty yards. I mean, he got
one hundred and seven and fifteen gameslast year including the playoffs, including the

(18:37):
playoffs, fifteen games. It's fifteengames. Sure, he's healthy for seventeen
games, then, I mean he'son track to do that. He had
one hundred and twenty seven targets ineighty seven catches in twelve games. One
hundred and twenty seven targets was fourteenthin the NFL in twelve games. I
think you can do one hundred andtwelve. We'll see how the offense changes,
but like just based on last year, the trajectory for him to hit

(19:02):
that number is there. They alsohad injuries, you know, all three
guys got hurt at different times.Hayden Hurst got hurt at some point as
well, so you know that thatplays a part in it for sure,
And we'll see. We'll see aboutBoyd. Obviously, he hasn't hit the
thousand yard mark since twenty nineteen.Eight hundred yard mark, if it's two
thousand yard receivers in an eight hundredyard I would book that. Obviously came

(19:25):
up a bit short last year, but it was one last game too,
and in that game, I thinkhe was gonna against Buffalo, was probably
gonna have a pretty big day.So yeah, those Uh, it's always
tough for Tyler Boyd in this offense. Just the volume just not there for
him with the way the ball getsspread around. But he's still a really

(19:47):
good player obviously. Also last noteon the gift thing Jeff thing, which
the official pronunciation, I think Jefforiginated in nineteen eighty seven. James older
than me, older than the entireBengals roster. I mean, oh my

(20:07):
god, isn't it I think itis. Yeah, they've lost their veterans,
special teamers. Unbelievable. Up next, we have more from from te
Higgins one more clip and then TedCarriss on Orlando Brown Junior and the T
one. You're gonna want to hearbecause it's about his number change and he

(20:30):
seemed pretty excited about it for athird time in four seasons. The Miami
Heat is squaring off with the BostonCeltics for a trip to the NBA Finals.
I'm expecting Jimmy to be dominant.I'm expecting the Heat bench players to
step up. The Los Angeles Dodgersrolled into the week red hot, boasting
the best record in the National Leagueafter a sweep of the San Diego Padres.

(20:52):
This Dodgers team is winning with pitchingand timely hitting, and those are
things that will carry you through inOctober, and the Arolina Hurricanes are facing
off against the Florida Panthers in theNHL's Eastern Conference Finals. This is a
team that is single minded in theirfocus it's about winning the Stanley Cup.

(21:38):
I think we're all excited about teHiggins getting into the single digits,
back to the number that he worethe Clemson but probably not as excited as
T James. What do you think? I agree with you, and don't
let me say it for you.Let's hear from Tea. Obviously we knew
about the number change, but howdid it feel to put the five on?
Feel good? Well, boy,if good, I'm not gonna lie

(22:00):
man. Feel good to be backin a five. A lot of work
to be done, you know,in this number, and hold on,
I can keep that five legacy goingin a femily good stuff stoked. I
mean it's going to translate to onfield results is my takeaway there When you
feel your seat, you look youplay good man. Did you see the

(22:22):
way he looked at me like? This is the the advantage if you're listening
to subscribe to our YouTube channel aswell, because you could just go to
this clip he's it felt good,my boy. But he was all smiling,
all exciting, and he's known aboutthis for a year and a half,
two years, so yeah, Ithink he looks good in it.
By the way, that's the otherpart. I don't think we've necessarily talked

(22:44):
about it, and the Bengals wereon this on Tuesday, the nine to
five connection. H I haven't workedat nine to five in plenty of years,
and I'm blessed to not have havehad to do that recently. But
I love that you can say that. Imagine the radio calls with Dan Horde
nine to five, oh lap themmoving in the background. It's gonna be

(23:07):
pretty good. So hopefully we hearthat, let's say twelve times this year
in the end zone, that wouldbe nice. Yeah, that's a lot
of touchdowns. I like touchdowns, well brows. If browthrows for fifty five
double nickel, then it's gonna bea lot. See I set the bar
high, Jake, you're talking aboutone hundred and twelve, k I'm talking
about fifty five tuddies. You saidyou thought fifty five was a lot of

(23:29):
time. Was a lot of onehundred twelves a lot of catches? It
is a lot of catches. I'mthinking twenty touchdowns for Jamar receptions and there's
a lot of receivers get receptions. We's what's about that touchdown record? Receptions?
I believe Carl Pickens has it withseventeen passing it is it fifty four?
Is that why you said fifty five? What did Peyton manningett? And?

(23:53):
Uh? And that's it. Itwas a while ago. I mean
in the in the last few yearsforty eight twenty twenty thirteen, his first
year in Denver, Yeah, hewas That's when he had that big tight
end. He had Damarius Thomas andEmmanuel Sanders west Woker. They were loaded.

(24:15):
In the last five years, therewas a fifty just Mahomes in twenty
eighteen and Rodgers in twenty twenty gotto forty eight. Those are the biggest,
like by far the biggest. There'salso a forty three in twenty twenty
one. I think those are theonly ones in the high forties or fifties,
and Burro got the thirty five lastyear, so he would have to

(24:37):
double, like not double it,but it would have to add twenty two
it to get back. It wouldn'tshock me, especially if they get to
my thirty point threshold that I amexpecting the amount of preseason hype around Joe
Burrow in the MVP candidacy. Ifyou want to see him get their fifty
five touchdown passes his most likely away to seal that guaranteed. He's guaranteed

(25:00):
the MVP if he does that.If you go to fifty five and no
one else does, like fifty six, sure you know, Yeah, I
guess Mahomes if he does sixty five, which he won't, Yeah, well,
wouldn't that suck. That's like thehome run record in ninety eight.
It was McGuire, Sammy Sosa, and Ken Griffey Junior had like sixty or
fifty six or something, and it'slike Griffy's killing it and he's not doing

(25:22):
it on Royd's not that Mahomes ownRoyds, That's not what I'm saying,
But he's doing it. Clean andyou Royd Ragers over here are playing better.
That's that's my Griffy bias, ofcourse, but it's true. I
mean, geez, fifty six homeruns and it went under the radar.
Fifty six and back to back seasonsin ninety seven to ninety eight for ARY's
unbelievable best swinging in the history ofthe Gain oh Man, most esthetically pleasing,

(25:45):
one of the most aesthetically pleasing thingsin sports. But we digress.
Let's get back on to the topicof hand. Joe Burrow had some praise
for Orlando Brown yesterday. We talkedvery briefly about that. Was very excited
to have him in the building.Talked up his character and his fit in
the locker room. But Ted Carrissalso very very bullish on the Bengals new

(26:07):
left tackle. A high energy guy, brings it every single day. You
know, Love's ball. Happy tobe there. Obviously. He's a giant
man and an elite left tackle andis a huge pickup for us. He's
going to fit in our offense amazing. Culturally, He's going to be a
culture driver, a guy that he'sgoing to be vocal in the locker room.

(26:30):
I can't wait for you know, our relationships all to develop between you
know, me, him and Kappa. We have so many great leaders in
the old line and we need tocome ready to go come this fall.
They do. And that's the otherargument. Right when we're talking about one
hundred and twelve catchers are three thousandyard receivers are fifty five touchdowns. If
this offensive line takes another step andcan protect, where is the flaw?

(26:59):
Like, obviously healthy is always thecase. You could say that about every
team in the NFL, but thereisn't really a true flaw where you would
say, oh, well, Joecan't hit that mark, they're going to
throw it a ton. I thinkthey're going to throw up more now than
ever I could see. I couldsee this offense hitting numbers and marks that
we haven't seen before and being muchmore consistent because I think they've had some

(27:22):
abs and flows over the past coupleof seasons that I don't anticipate them having
assuming they stay healthy. Yeah,I mean, health always a big factor
that we can't really predict or talkabout. But we have to throw in
as a caveat every time we talkabout expectations for a season, Right,
you can't you can't predict it,but it's always a factor. It's always
a variable. Yeah, the waythis offensive line comes together is going to

(27:45):
be really interesting. I'm excited tosee where Orlando Brown does out there,
how Cordell Wilson develops, and thenthe question market right tackle, right is
what's going to actually play out there. Joe Burrow yesterday we talked about his
comments on Jonah Williams and you know, acknowledging the business side of things,
acknowledging how important Jonah is. Ithink we still have the expectation here the

(28:06):
Jonah is going to start at righttackle. Take Cares essentially saying something similar,
would love to have Jonah at righttackle. There's gonna be some competition.
We'll have to see how it allplays out, because they don't know
exactly what's going to happen there, but all reports still indicating that he won't
be there for the mandatory part ofthe off season program, and it's gonna
probably play right tackle for the Bengalsthis year, and so go ahead,

(28:30):
no, I just if that happens, I feel pretty good about this line.
Obviously, there's the low question mark, but there are a lot of
us a lot of listeners that arehigh on Jackson Carmen and so if you're
high on him, that's great. He could be an awesome option at swing
tackle and you feel pretty good.I think about potentially Max Sharping, who

(28:52):
I want to mention was snapping theball. Just want to throw that out
there. I don't. I'm notsaying that he's in front of Trey Hill
by any stretch, but that's anotheroption. I think that they're at least
exploring as a guy who could givethem center reps if needed, maybe in
a pincher an emergency point is isum, the more quality backups you have,

(29:18):
the better and Jonah coming back,it would allow that to happen.
So hopefully that happens to part ofthe off season where you just work the
interior guys at a little bit ofwork all over the place in different It
might not be anything, You're right, might not be anything, because Ben
Brown still there, still still couldcompete. Right last year's one of the

(29:40):
one of the more notable free agentundrafted free agent signings. Interior offensive lineman
Ben Brown could be competing for thatcenter back up job as well. But
death, I mean, yeah, that's important and part of me wonders,
and this is a whole other thing. But if Jackson Carmen has flipped the

(30:03):
switch, right, what if theyhad just left him at left guard the
whole time and he flipped the switch. Now that you have all this tackle
death on the team, and it'llbe great to have if he if he
turns into like quality swing tackle orbetter starter level swing or starter level tackle,
that's better, that's more valuable.Right, So then kudos then for

(30:26):
making that decision. But people aregoing to call this Cordovolson's slander, and
I'm excited to see what he doesthis year. But if there was a
week like if Jonah's the right tackle, it's still let's see what Cordovolson is
who had his ups and downs lastyear, right. People really like him
because he's got the work ethic. He says all the right things and all

(30:47):
that stuff. But as those athleticlimitations where you know, I don't know,
it's a big it's a big tangentand people are going to probably be
upset that I'm bringing Cordovolson out.No, no, Jackson Carmen here.
This is a whole conversation that wecan have in the later show. But
there are plenty of guys that havesomething to prove. I've talked plenty about

(31:11):
how cordevals or how Jackson Carmen hasplenty to prove. Cordev Wilson isn't alone
or you know, he's not outof that category. He's still in it,
and I think he knows that, and so yeah, maybe we should.
That's a good topic. Let's putthat on the docket here because Cordell
Wilson. We can explore that somemore because there's some stuff there, I

(31:32):
think, and potentially just really goodstuff. But now he fits at left
guard alongside hopefully Orlando Brown for seventeengames. I think that changes things a
bit and how this offensive line canlook. So that's a good tease.
We'll do that at a later date. I don't think tomorrow, though,
Jake. I think we have amail bag. I think we have our

(31:52):
mailman out right now, mailmen andmail women, and they're gathering the envelopes
that you will open to answer yourquestions on tomorrow show. Yeah, we'll
get into a mail bag tomorrow towrap up the week. And Cordell Wilson
led the Bengals offense in snaps lastyear he was on the field a ton

(32:15):
for them, thirteen hundred and fivesnaps. So I don't mean to like
just to you hate it last him. I don't at all. And you
hate him because he played at NorthDakota State. Say it. You just
don't like the Bison. What youdon't like Bison? That's ridiculous. Bison
are pretty cool. Said it?I said what. I didn't say anything.

(32:38):
Cordell Wilson has clearly earned the respectand trust of the coaching staff to
a pretty significant degree, and soyou just hope that he takes that step
and refines his craft as many playersdo from year one to year two,
and we'll see what happens there. But you're right, it is an interesting
conversation and something that we can expandon in the future. That's going to

(33:00):
do it for this episode of theLocked On Bengals podcast, keep your eyes
out if you haven't seen that mailbag tweet to get your questions in for
the final show of the week.Until then, thanks for listening, Huday,
and have a good one. Fora third time in four seasons,
the Miami Heat are squaring off withthe Boston Celtics for a trip to the

(33:20):
NBA Finals. I'm expecting Jimmy tobe dominant. I'm expecting the Heat bench
players to step up. The LosAngeles Dodgers rolled into the week red hot,
boasting the best record in the NationalLeague after a sweep of the San
Diego Padres. This Dodgers team iswinning with pitching and timely hitting, and
those are things that will carry youthrough in October. And the Carolina Hurricanes

(33:42):
are facing off against the Florida Panthersin the NHL's Eastern Conference Finals. This
is a team that is single mindedin their focus. It's about winning the
Stanley Cup. For more on thesestories, check out new episodes of Locked
