we did something really fun and festive with the kiddos
the other night. We took him to see Mariah Carey
at the Hollywood Bowl. And this is gonna sound wimpy,
but it was freezing here in La Yes, East Coast
people are like, what are you talking about? Somebody in
Green Bay probably wanted to slap me right now.

But that day the winds picked up.

It was cold, biting, but it was still so much fun.

We bundled up, We got hot chocolates brought in little Bourbon,
which gets it going and Mariah.

We love Mariah because she leans into the whole diva thing.

I heard she requested that temperature.

Yeah, first thing she said was, I know it's a
little chilly out there, y'all didn't stop her from having
like four wardrobe changes, and she was like sleeveless exactly.
And she also, this was funny to me. In between songs,
she would have her glam team come out and give
her touch ups.

She's like a pit crew cream and they were coming.
It's so funny, and they really would be to and
I'm like, oh my gosh. She did that a few times.
But you forget how many great songs she has. She

we've had so many memories over the years, but back
in the days, way back, we had our Magic Summer Tour.
It was a big stadium tour and kind of one
of those iconic moments for us and our fans, and

to have Paul Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff. I mean,
it's an amazing lineup and it's in sheds, it's outside

had fun with it and there's some good you know,

you know, like our big hit from there was this
One's for the Children, and you know, it's funny how
songs kind of hit difference. Sometimes it's exactly what you
need to hear, you know what I mean, especially, and
you know it's a big, beautiful world, but it gets
crazy sometimes, So there's some there's nothing almost spreading some love,

Well, I mean, for starters, we kind of you know,
we've had so many memories over the years, but back
in the days, way back, we had our Magic Summer Tour.
It was a big stadium tour and kind of one
of those iconic moments for us and our fans, and
so we thought it'd be fun to kind of relive that,

but in a you know, very current way, and you know,
to have Paul Abdul and DJ Jazzy Jeff. I mean,
it's an amazing lineup and it's in sheds, it's outside
like that tour was.

It's like a marriage, you know. We're trying to surprise

them and keep them happy. And they're the best fans
in the world, so I'm sure there'd be some surprises,
but there's enough hits, you know, from the eighties and
nineties to make it worth the night.

with me, and you're re releasing your comeback album from
two thousand and eight, The Block. We're going to get
some unreleased tracks on it as well, right.

Yes, yes, I mean that was such a huge, you
know record to come back, and you know, super well received,
and we had so many great collaborators, Neo and Lady
Gaga and New Edition and so many more, and you know,
to revisit it. I can't believe it's been fifteen years
since we came back. But but you know, we we've

been lucky and we continue to make new music and
we've been working on some new music now too, So
keeping it fresh man, just keeping the keeping it exciting
for us and the fans and and that block.

We're all Brave Hearts. But you know, I love you know,
I'm lucky to be in a successful band, you know,
very successful band. But you know, doing my own thing
is important and it kind of balances it out. So
I just turned the big five O this year, so
you and I both I endeavored to do fifty solo dates.
I I don't know if I'm going to get to
fifty by the end of the year, but it's been

fun and very very fulfilling, and again it it it
feeds both the group and myself.

in the middle of an arena tour in the summer,
you know, and.

It goes it goes over very well.

Actually, we just did another one of our crazy cruises
and it was one of the theme nights was an
album cover night. So we came in with that all
our outfits from that album from nineteen eighty nine, which
we despise back in the day you thought it was
the cheesiest thing ever. Now it's a classic. So we
had fun with it and there's some good you know,

you know, like our big hit from there was this
One's for the Children, and you know, it's funny how
songs kind of hit difference. Sometimes it's exactly what you
need to hear, you know what I mean, especially, and
you know it's a big, beautiful world, but it gets
crazy sometimes, So there's some there's nothing almost spreading some love,
you know.
