Zerlo from Saratel County Sheriff's Department.Big deal in Clifton Park yesterday went down
like right at the beginning of ourshow. And he just came to found
find a lot of stuff happened yesterdaymorning. You want to you want to
tell us what went down, Sheriffyes, Good morning, guys um.
Yesterday morning, at about five thirty, we were executing a federal search warrant

with the dam as my special opsteam made entry, the announced and then
announced their authority also entered the apartmentthey were they came upon gunfighter Um.
Multiple shots were being fired at them. They returned fire. Two of my
deputies were hit along with the subject, and all three transporter to Albany Medical

Center. That suspect is plans tosee. Sheriff. How's the condition of
the deputies. One deputy was releasedyesterday. He took one round to his
bullet best which stopped at the smallbruise on his chest. The second deputy
late last night out of surgery.Prognosis is good, So Quinn said,
you spent the money on a goodvest is that? Is that true?

We have nothing but the best formy people. Correct. Yea, these
these two, these vests basically savedthe lives of these two deputies. Sheriff,
how many? I mean this hasto be You have a long career,
but you haven't had many days likeyesterday? Have you? No first
incident as in Saratoga County with theSheriff's department where two deputies have been shot?

Um, And I've been doing ita long time, so I know.
I'm reading the story and I sawyour press conference yesterday, and there's
not a lot of details, butam I led to believe that we're cracking
down on fentnel here? Yes?Um, this was the result of the
operation with the dam. We've beenworking on this for six months, and

out of the search warrants that we'reexecuted yesterday, we got close to one
hundred thousand tells that we took offthe street sec and close to sixty thousand
pills that had setten all on them. I saw I saw guns too,
right, yeah, over fifty guns. So I saw you. I think
it was you who made the statementsthat drugs leads to violence. Sometimes people
separate the two of those but they'reone of the same for guys like you,

What do you make though, sheriffabout a guy like this in the
press conference or in the questioning Inthe press conference, somebody brought it up,
like and you started to talk abouthow these multiple things going on,
but it's the focus is to getthe worst of the worst. Is that
how you work with the federal governmentto find the worst three guys this week

and then go and serve a thing. Is that how that works? Is
it ongoing? These are ongoing Wedeveloped in from information over course of time,
and unfortunately, the once we findout this information and who we're doing
what we find out that these subjectshave lengthy criminal records and this subject yesterday
was a bad actor and it hada lengthy criminal record, and um,

you know, you saw what tookplace. Saratoga County Sheriffs zero one with
us here, what do you whatdo you say to the people that over
at box Run? Is that isthat a safe place to live? Yeah?
I don't see. You know,they came out with a statement yesterday
we unfortunately we had this incident there. This happens in all communities. Unfortunately,

you know, in the Capitol district. So I know our goal and
my goal is a Sheriff of SaratogaCounties to make sure I keep the residents
of Saratoga County safe. I'll usewhatever means and resources to do that,
and we'll continue to work with thed EA to get these drugs off the
street and these weapons off the street. So I can assure the residents that
I'll continue that pledge for them andyou know, just keep it going.

I don't know if we got allthe names on the office, but one
was there for five years I think, and one was there. An officer
has been there for for a year? Am I correct? There? Yeah?
Five years and two years? Okay? To share? What? What?
What? Where are you when?When thing like this is about to
be executed at us in the commandcenter? How does it work? I
am not. I get a briefingthe day before. We trained twice some

months for scenarios like this. Myspecial ops teams does um once I know
we have this type of warrant thatwe're going to execute. Brief three times
during the week and I was homeand get the phone call at five to
twenty that I wasn't expecting and gotto the scene within ten minutes. Wow,

the investigation, part of the sixmonths investigation. I have a special opts
team and uh, you know we'rethere to assist that our federal partners and
executing the search warrants. Well,I thought it was pretty powerful yesterday when
