a big story. Coach Minas isout with the Albany Empire. He's on
the phone now, Coach, whathappened wild weekend? Um, Well,
basically it was time to I thinkpart ways. UM, I had come
back with the intent to try tohelp out in any way I could.
You know that was the unselfish act. Was tried to come back and help

UM. And then you know,there's there's different visions, UM. There
always are on professional football teams.UM. Mine was a little bit different,
UM than Antonio's. And uh,respectfully, I just made a decision
at this point. It was probablya good time. The healthiest thing for
this football team, UM, forme personally and for the players, is

for me to just step back andlet him, uh do what he believes
to be the best thing for thisteam. Coach, you just got there.
How is that such a huge miscommunication? Like, well, I think
I think, UM, I thinkit's what you're UM. When a person
has their own opinion on how thingsshould be running, how fast it should

happen. UM, I thought,you know, I get it. He
wanted he's a winner, he wantsto win and uh, I just felt
like it's going to take a littlebit more time than that. And so,
um, he has a plan,I support him. Um he supports
my decision, which is great,and um it's time. I mean,
there's there's you know, there therecomes a point in everything where you know

it's just not going to be theright fit. And I think a lot
of experience, you won some titles, you know how the game is played.
Do you think he's gonna sink theEmpire? Do you think Antonio Brown's
gonna sink this franchise? I don'tthink so, not at all. I
actually, you know, just becausethe vision is not my vision, I
don't discount it, right, Um, I'm not wanted to. I think

you guys known me well enough inthis area for the last couple of years
that I don't project my personal viewson another person's opinion. And so I
think he's going to be fine.I think the team's going to be fine.
It's just going to be different.It's going to be different than what
the people here are used to.Well, I think that doesn't mean necessarily
to be a bad thing either.You've spoken louder than you've ever spoken by

what happened on this this weekend.So it's interesting what did happen this weekend?
You guys got the umpire were beatenpretty handily. Where'd that loss come
from? Who's it on me?I'm the head coach. Do you think
do you think Antonio undercut you?I mean I think there were bad vibes
going into that game, right,No, not really, um between me

and Antonio. No, not atall. Um. It's just like I
said, any head coach with ballsis going to say it's his fault.
So I got balls that yeah,coach taking taking the ownership of it.
So you say that the union thecoach for the union union football who's being
asked to maybe throw his hat inthe ring. I actually got a call

from him. I got a returntoday. I'm sure he wants to get
my opinions on things, and nowI'm going to tell them. You know,
the first thing is remember that you'redoing this for the city, You're
doing it for the community, you'redoing it for the fans. And then
the last person you're doing it foris yourself. And if you go in

with the idea that you're doing itfor yourself and then backwards, that's not
the way to come into this job. This is a community based team.
This is a team that's supported bythe city, the fans, the little
kids to the grownups who buy thetickets. And if that's your intent,
you're going to enjoy the job.If you come in with another agenda,
you probably won't. So that that'sthe honest answer. What I would tell

him the great group of people thatyou can assemble here. Surround yourself with
people that you trust, you love, you want to become the work with
every day and make it your own. I feel like he had to sign
some piece of paints again. Thisis this is this is coach as bad
as fine, right if you reallydo just take it on the jaw here

and that's as you know, well, you know what those guys. If
I could say one thing to theyounger coaches or high school coaches or people
listening. Um, I've been askedall the time, why do you talk
this way when it's in a situationand all that, And well, one
is, that's who I am,that's my beliefs. But the other thing
is you got to remember every timeyou open your mouth, you're basically interviewing

for your next job. Right,So Why would you Why would you criticize
the sport that you love. Whywould you criticize there's there's nothing to criticize
that this happens in professional football andgo right between the lines. Now,
then that's that makes sense to me. Coach, we were lucky to have
