October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Designated by Congress in 1988, for the past 34 years the month of October has been dedicated to raising awareness of the employment needs and contributions of individuals with all types of disabilities as well as paying tribute to the accomplishments of individuals with disabilities. Leah Burdick, Chief growth officer for Roseville's "PRIDE Industries", joins the program to discuss how the organization has played a role in highlighting awareness over the years and how they also carry the mantel throughout the rest of the year.
