Right let's go to the NFL. We ended last segment
they're talking about justin fields. Let's talk about two other quarterbacks,

(01:27):
Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. We talked about them. They're
going to meet Sunday in what is going to be
a fantastic game Buffalo in Kansas City. Now, remember Buffalo
beat them thirty eight twenty last year in Arrowhead, but
then lost to them of course in the divisional playoffs

(01:50):
in the AFC, so Kansas City got them when it counted.
But this will be a big game for sure. And
a lot of people are equating Mahomes versus Allen, to
Tom Brady versus Peyton Manning and what that used to
be when Manny was still it is in the in
the league, and both of them were at their best.

(02:12):
And Josh Allen is buying into it as well. Here
he is on the Kyle Brandt podcast. When you grew up,
it was Peyton and Brady. When I grew up, it
was young and Aikman. For kids, now it's becoming Allan
and ma Homes like these are the ones that they
want to see and play each other, and you're part
of that. I have an eight year old son. He's

(02:33):
looking forward to Alan versus and Mahomes. What's it like
to be part of that? For you? I'm not gonna lie.
That kind of dawned upon me today, and it is.
It's such a it's such a weird feeling, and I
don't really take steps back and look at it from
that lens too often. But to know, like as a kid,
like I remember watching Peyton and and Tom and then
Tom and Aaron, and to know that like people regard

(02:56):
me and that type of situation is it's it's surreal.
VJ is this is Mahomes, Alan Brady Manning. That means no,
this is what I love about sports Fair. We always
got to try to make something off instead of letting
things happen organically. Are you kidding me with this? Alan

(03:19):
and Mahomes day. Mahomes is a certified g and I'm
not saying Alan's not. But we always react off to
what we saw last. And what we saw last is
Buffalo really hanging there and probably should have won the
divisional game in Kansas City and Arrowhead, but they did it.
They lost. So this year Vegas opens up. Who's a
super Bowl champion? Super Bowl favorite? Bills who's the MVP

(03:42):
favorite Alan? So now all of a sudden, now we
start to write the narrative They've only played three times, Chris,
and then only in one playoff game. You know what
I'm saying. Brady and Manny played seventeen times, they went
to fourteen Super Bowls combined, and one nine of them
start saying it's already that's what it's laying a younger version.

(04:04):
That's what cal Brand. Listen, I'm fine with you. I
mean not saying not thinking it's Manning or you know,
it is Manning Brady. But I don't think we can't say,
you know, there the fullness of Manning and Brady's career
compared to Mahomes and Alan, because of course you can't

(04:26):
compare that. I think they're saying though, at the beginning,
the young you know, that became the two great quarterbacks
going at it. Obviously you could throw Aaron Rodgers in
there if you want. But I think that's what they
mean more so than, you know, obviously their career accomplishment. Yeah,
I don't think so. I disagree. I think they're trying
to make it a rivalry now, they're trying to make it.

(04:48):
See you don't think it's a rivalry. No, no, why not. No,
the two best teams in the ANFC they're gonna be
whether they meet in the playoffs again or not, it's
still a rivalry. I disagree, Chris. It's they ain't played
enough yet. They haven't even played a good day. They
came five years into the layers. Then let's all right.
So there we go. That's what we're calling a decade,

(05:10):
not a decade, not a decade. But give me at
least another two three seasons before we call this a robbery.
Also too, I'm also coming from the angle shot. I'm
also coming from the angle of bro. We have never
seen Buffalo win nothing. Buffalo ain't never won nothing in
either one of our time at times on Earth, like
Kansas City got one super Bowl, so actually they got

(05:31):
to years. I don't matter too, it's still too okay.
But the Kansas City was a joke when I was
growing up and when you were growing up too, for
the most part, well for the most part, franchise. I
didn't say that though, That's not what I said. It
was a great franchise. Y'all trying to make this a robbery.

(05:51):
It's not a win a more super Bowl. It's not.
It's not a ribery. They haven't even played in the
Conference champion because they only played three times. How's it
a rod They have the pre game league five years. Okay,
so let it play out there. Why are we trying
to make it a robbery that christophs I'm saying, jack
team we got we gotta wait till dudes and made
eight programs at six MVPs going the Super Bowl or

(06:13):
two each say it's a rivalry. Sorry, but I would
like to get them and see who's great whether or
not it's a rivalry. No, sorry, I need at least
five or seven matchups ahead to head and big time games.
That means something for me to call it a robbery. Chris,
I'm just not gonna do that. Bruce says, seventeen times
they met Brady, and man, wasn't fourteen of them? Were

(06:35):
fourteen of them rob g in the regular season. I
think it was Brady was ten and four against him
in the regular season. That means they met three times
in the playoffs and essentially twenty years. Yeah, so these
dudes have met once in the playoffs, no, twice, twice
in the playoffs and over the course of uh like

(06:58):
five years, twice playoffs. Then they did Kansas City's beating
them twice, and they've met twice. So they met four times.
They met twice in the regular season and twice in
the playoffs in the season. One didn't one in the
regular season, and Kansas City's two and oh against them
in the postseason. Okay, I didn't see that. I didn't

(07:19):
see that there. I thought I knew they had. They
played the one playoff game last year, but the year
before that did they play him in the play Kansas
City beat him thirty eight twenty four in the AFC Championship.
That's a that's a high ranking game in twenty twenty
and then the next year, twenty twenty one, they beat
him like last six. Yet they met twice in the

(07:40):
playoffs in the last two years. Yeah. Here, here's where
I'll agree with you. I as you said, man Need,
I mean mahomes Is. I think he's the best quarterback
in the league. Um, he's already obviously won a Super Bowl,
been to another one, and won an MVP, accomplished way
more than all to date. My thing is that whoever

(08:05):
the next Brady Manning rivalry is Mahomes is in there. Yeah,
like it's going to be Mahomes versus who It's not
definitely Josh Allen. I think it's a rivalry, but will
it be the chief rivalry? Who's to say it won't
be Lamar, Who's to say it won't be Justin Herbert

(08:27):
Joe Burrow. I know they are a ways away right now.
But Alan hash to establish himself as that guy. He's
going to be the one. Doesn't mean there are other
great quarterbacks that you know one year might be the MVP,
or might be the first team All NFL, like Aaron
Rodgers or Brett Farve. But the chief rivalry was Manning

(08:52):
Brady and Mahomes is in it. The question is will
Alan be in it? But I think, look, you can
have more than one rival, and I think that I
do think this is a rival. No, not yet, man
not there's no question or they've already had. I just
said it. Manning and Brady only in man in three

(09:13):
playoff games in the in twenty years, but in two
back to back. But here's the thing. You gotta also
look at NFL scheduling. So those other fourteen regular season
games the NFL new to me whether that was the
off conference that they were playing, like if the AFC
North was paying the AFCs. Okay, you already know you're
gonna get that match up with the Coats and the
Patriots at some point during the season, But when they
weren't playing that the NFL schedule makers still made sure

(09:36):
to make that matchup because that was a rivalry and
it built that way. Also to think they would do
that with these two they made. But I gotta see
it more than what I've seen already. Just these they
only been in the league a few years. Chris, Chris, Chris,
you're honestly kind of proving my point. That's what I'm saying. Bro,
they give me at least another two year point another
two years leave that you have to wait and see,

(09:59):
you know, the the game. You can look at somebody
you already saying Justin Field's gonna be the man if
they give him some weapons. Why can't you say, Josh
Allen is all that already. I don't think Josh Allen
is all that already. But if that's fine, because he's
got because he's even got he's even got weapons strolling
he's only played a few Look, no, no, no, no, No,
that is part of it. That is part of you
can't tell me what it is to me. That is

(10:21):
part of it. But there's also another part of it.
They haven't they haven't played enough too, and and and
and number two is Josh Allen. Even if you were
to put the tape on, all right, we can look
at the marketing and all the narratives, put the tape on.
If you even just look at this year, he looks
really really great against bad teams. Baltimore coughed on himself. Okay,
he couldn't do nothing in the second half in South Beach.

(10:42):
Against team is about their difference is horrible. Are they
a bad team? They're not bad. They're not a bad team.
Their defense is horrible, so mean against defense is horrible.
He had a good second, bad team. He had a
good second bad teams defense. Same thing, Tomato, Tomato, belogn
you below you. It's all the same thing. Baltimore is
a bad team, a good team, I mean you just okay,

(11:05):
good teams, Eagles, a good team like the Rams. Rams
won the Super Bowl last year. If I'm not mistaken, Yeah, man,
they demolished the Rams. That's a good team. That's a
no the thinks team were they were a game removed
from winning the Super You think that you think the
Rams are a good team right now, Chris, are you serious?

(11:25):
They're struggling right now. That's not a good team. They
just won the Super Bowl less than a year. That's
what and that's what callender year. And you know, as
well as I do cover the sports as long as
you have, sometimes teams come back hungrier, and sometimes teams
have a hangover and the jet's not there. Their star
player admitted on television in the interview that he was
kind of he was done and then decided to come back.

(11:47):
What are they say about retirement? What I'll tell you
is this come beating the Rams and opening night the
defendant Super Bowl champions has got to be given. It
was a little it was a little something, Chris, it
was a little the good team now I think Tennessee

(12:08):
then then there's only a half. I mean, you're really
saying Baltimore is not a good team. Baltimore has a
chance to win the A Sea. Chris, you and I
talked on this time, on this topic months months back,
when you were shocked when I said I only thought
they were only really like three great teams in the league.
The rest were good and average. You balked at me
at that, I said, I don't think there's a lot
of good team Is this relative because each other? Ok?

(12:32):
They're playing each other, all right, Well, so you can
be whether you want to call them good, great, whatever
or bad. They there's gonna be a bunch of teams
that make the playoff. What a Buffalo goes out and
team Okay, so what would be your opinion Monday morning?
If they go out there to Casey and Casey runs
through him, Oh, then they got they got smoked. Okay,

(12:54):
But if it mean their season's over, I just say
this season was over a week. I mean, I mean
you asked me, you ask me what my finger would be.
I'm telling you. I mean, well, I be like, man,
they didn't show up. But I think they don't have
a chance to get to the super Bowl. No, I
think they have smoked Kansas City last year that workout.
I did have a really good defense. I think they

(13:14):
have a really good passive attack. My question with Buffalo
has always been the last two to three years, and
definitely this past summer talking NFL, they don't run the
football enough. That's going to show up at some point.
I'm not sold just because everybody else wants to be sold.
I still got to see it. Like, forgive me for
wanting to see it instead of just saying, oh, no,
that's a robbery. Are right now, man, let them play

(13:35):
at least three or four more times, and let's see
if it's a robbery. First, guys, before we call it
a rival Oh, they played each other four times, it's
a robbery. No it's not. It's not a robbery rivalry
because they're two top five quarterbacks many would say top three,
or maybe number one and number two. Their teams are
both very good. Whether you think they're good, great, whatever,

(13:57):
they're two of the best teams in the league, and
I would say the two best teams clearly in the AFC.
They've met the last two years in the playoffs. I
think that equals a rivalry if you're not really die
out over the years. Sure it could die out if
you for now and you know the game well enough
where you don't have to wait. I mean, like I said,

(14:19):
you already not predicted that Justin Field's gonna be something.
I would say, what again, we see we've seen due
for a year and not even a year and a half.
But I'm not saying that Alan ain't something. I'm not
saying that he ain't something. That's how many times do
they have to meet for it? Again, it's not gonna
eat quite Peyton and Brady because they haven't played as

(14:39):
long and Brady at this time, this point in their careers,
it's probably a common parallel. And again I think Alan
has to prove that he's that one. Maybe it's Lamar
and Mahomes, as I said, but to this point in
their careers, I think you could you could to me
to say it's not rivalry, and it just it just

(15:02):
really quick with with with pay with Payton. Also remember
those first early matchups that was more Payton against Belichick's
defensive Mine and Belichick's defense that wasn't really Brady became
a rivalyd You had one that was putting up the
numbers and you had one that was winning. That's really

(15:22):
what what made that arrivalry at least early on. Uh.
And then Mahomes is doing both running and putting up
the numbers. Now you said Buffalo, Uh don't so you
don't think Buffalo is a good team. No, I think
they're a good team, but I just don't I don't
buy a championship. I don't buy a super Bowl because

(15:42):
they don't run the football. They can't. They don't even
really they've only run in thirteen times, fewer than Kansas City. Yeah,
well it's like twice again. Yeah, okay, but I'm not
we're not talking about Kansas City. We're talking about I
Kansas City a contender, yeah, because that they have the
best quarterback in football. Yeah, they're contender. So so Alan's not?
Where is Alan of five six? Because I can't put

(16:03):
him over Brady? Because that was gonna ask you that
because you said some people will say top three. Okay,
So that means you're either pushing out Brady or you're
pushing out Rogers. And you're saying that Alan Rogers. So
you're saying so you're saying Alan's better than Aaron Rodgers
right now? Not he not? He s playing with me
Chris who's having a better year, until that makes them
better than him? Right now, he's having a better year
year and affected that Rogers is thirty eight and still

(16:27):
and he's Rogers two U fifty yards this year? What
Alan does that in the hat? What his weapon what
does weapons look What does receivers look like? Well, hey,
he had a rep. What does receivers look like? He
had a weapon? Exactly what was his when he had
that weapon? Back to back m vps? Stop playing with me. Look,
Rogers obviously historically is greater and last year was greater.

(16:49):
You put steff on Bs on that team right now
than you said with the Rams. That don't mean this
year eighty seven, seven ninety nine or fix eight seven
seven nine, ninety six, six three sixty nine. Your turn
to weigh in? Is Brady? I'm sorry? Is Mahomes Allen
the next big quarterback rivalry in the NFL? Is it

Alan the new Brady Manning? What say you? Well? Started
off with my man blind Seahawks fan. I think I
know what this gentleman is up in Olympia, Washington. Man.
Welcome to the our Couple, Christmas. Are Rob Parker talk

(19:47):
to us? Man? Is this a new rivalry already or
do we need to wait a little bit? Chris russarding
my guy Husky, what's going on? Guys. How you doing, man, Man,
how are you? What's up? What's up doing? Good? Man? Now,
I want to say that I think that this has
a very very big potential of being the best rivalry.
It's just the Brady Manning rivalry was so like historic

(20:10):
that I feel like it's gonna take a couple more
of these games to get in because I to get
the rivalry. I think these guys do not like the
talent at all to do it. I mean, these guys
are still young and there's already goat conversation for Mahomes.
I mean the DJ you were talking about, he's called Mahomi.
I mean, Josh Allen is crazy. Like, I think this
definitely has potential. It's just we need to see more
of it. Man, I appreciate you. Thanks. Brothers. A man

(20:33):
from the Pacific Northwest. Yeah yeah, yeah, a good kid too. Man,
it's got a good show that he does on his
own too. Let's go up to the Bay Area. Yeah,
bay Area up in San Francisco. Man, Now you're live
right now on the out A couple of man Chris Bruce,
are vj Vernon Husky talk to us man, rivalry yet
are no rovalry between these two quarterbacks. What's what's happening?
Fellas own? Not a rivalry quite yet. Man, I feel

(20:56):
like we're prisoner at the moment with Joash Shellen right now,
thank you. Not as decorated as my homes, and I
feel like that matters. Let him, let me do the
young guys. But I just feel like he needs to
do a little bit more. And like, like the first
caller said, you know, it will be more than likely,
but if you were to leave the league today, would

(21:17):
you guys be like, Oh, that's raw. That's a raw
rivalry right there. More than likely not. You know, he
needs a little bit more time, all right to VJ Zero, Chris,
I know between me and you, all right, man, we

(21:38):
got one more man coming from uh d oh my
home area that dn V. I love this right here, Adam,
talk to us man, you a couple of Christmas? Are
Vernon Huskins? This a robbery right now or no robbery?
You know that? Then if he brother got your back,
man Christian Tripper man, like like DJ said, they're trying
to make everything a robbery. So early man with Dave Man,
you gotta let it grow a little bit. It would

(22:00):
be particiarly a great round. But not yet, man, not yet,
not yet in this day and nature, just like the microwave,
everything so quick somebody takes so quickly, like I agree
with you completely, DJA. It's like and Chris, you're kind
of proving this point and someone with some of your
takes on this, on this topic, man, you're kind of
proving his point. Like it hasn't It hasn't matured enough, man,
Just let it ride. Man, How did I prove his point?

(22:24):
I mean it was you were saying, you were saying,
like just some of the things you were saying earlier,
like about five minutes ago, you were just talking about
hot man. I can't remember exactly, man, but we didn't
look did not that day we gonna ask that. Yeah,
I was gonna say, you're gonna lose that one now,
all right, Chris is my guy. You gotta come to
Chris correct man. We're gonna get into Draymond Green as

(22:46):
we moved to the NBA with that punch derailed the
Warrior season. But first, Fox Sports Radio has the best
sports talk lineup in the nation. Catch all of our
shows at Fox sports radio dot com and within the
iHeart Radio a search f SR to listen live. All right,
thank you, Manse. We are the I couple. VJ. Husky

(23:06):
in for Rod Parker. We're live from the Tirack dot
Com studios. We're gonna get into Draymond Green and the
punch heard around the world. But BJ before we're gonna
hear from Draymond because he talked recently about, you know,
the situation with Jordan Poole. He's back with the team
obviously and all that. But VJ, I have not heard

(23:28):
your view. I'm sure you shared it on the show
last weekend, but what what was your take on what
Draymond did? A few things? It was wrong, you know,
you don't. You don't never want to punch another teammate.
And I was more upset that we saw. I think
things like that need to be kept in house. And
I'm pretty sure stuff like that happens all the time
in every sport, not just football. I'm pretty sure NBA

(23:50):
locker rooms, NFL locker rooms, Major League, National Hockey League
locker rooms. I'm pretty sure that stuff does happen, and
we know it happened in high school. I saw guys
punch each other and fight in high school. When I
semi pro football, I saw a guy's fighting the locker room,
So it was nothing new. I hated that we saw it.
But I will say this, though, Raymond's Draymond's on account,
not just with the Warriors, in my opinion. Draymond's on

(24:11):
account with his NBA career in my opinion, because if
anybody just thinks that he could just walk to another
team and everything's gonna just be so great, you still
have a track record, you still have baggage that comes
with you, and everybody always thinks they can fix somebody, right, right, Chris,
Like when the only guy that I could compare this
too was Dennis Rodman, right, Whereas as far as the
personality goes, nobody could control this guy. Just the guy

(24:34):
taking his shoes off in San Antonio. And remember people
thought his career was over. Oh he's done, he's over.
But you got with a guy with like Phil Jackson
and Mike and Scottie and that Bulls team, and he
was all about winning. That's one thing Robin never really
gets credit for. He was a win He wanted to win.
He was just out there trying to be famous and
trying to be a celebrity. With all the crazy stuff
he did off the court, when he was between the lines,
he wanted to win. It's not to say Draymond doesn't,

(24:56):
but I don't know if there's a team that has
that type of leadership that he could go to that
would be able to keep him in control. And this
will also show you this coming season, man, what type
of leadership Golden State has. What type of leaders Stephen
is Kerr and the front office. This is gonna show
this now, and just real quick now on the brother's side, like, man,

(25:17):
the man, brother, if you're not are arguing and you
step in my face and I forcibly push you out
of my face, I am not keeping my hands down.
You know what I'm saying, Like when I push you,
I expect you probably gonna be coming back at me.
So the whole sucker punch label that was out I hated.
I didn't like saying that because man to man, I
read Dame Littles interview. Dame Liddle said the same thing

(25:39):
where I come from. Want you in somebody's face and
you push them, that means you ready to fight? Are
you ready to have some type of altercation? So, Jordan Poole,
next time, you push somebody, you might want to throw
your dukes up and be ready to go. And maybe
he just didn't think his teammate would swing on him.
But you also got to know, this is Draymond. It
was an ugly situation. I hated that we saw the
should have stayed in how but it's it's to me, honestly,

(26:01):
it's much to do about nothing because this type of
stuff happens between grown men. Nah, see where I disagree.
Obviously fights happen in sports that I've said. It was
darn near a sucker punch. I agree. It wasn't a
full sucker punch where you know, you're just standing there,
somebody just punches out the side, right, you don't see

(26:22):
him right, Yeah, but it wasn't fair like most fights
in sports. Dude, you you you get red. Like we know, okay,
we both we both are squaring up and we know
it's gonna be a fight, and we know it's gonna
be some punches thrown. Yeah it's not you know what
I mean? And and I hear you. I mean, but
I if you look at that, like Draymond and Jordan

(26:44):
and Draymond and everybody really with the Warriors, they trash
talk flies all the time. Draymond's always talking trash. Jordan
chalk trash too, yes, And it looked to me like
Jordan is thinking there's some regular trash talk like always,
because even when he pushes Draymond, he's kind of it
looks to me, you know, it's it's a little grainy

(27:06):
to take, but it looks like he pushes him and
kind of smiling, you know, like, man, get on out
of here, man, because because Draymond got up in his
personal space, you know. And I'll give you that, like
when dude gets up on you like that, you kind
of know, yo, this is serious, right, Okay, But still Draymond,
if if like usually a dude would be like, man,

(27:29):
you know, laugh it off or maybe push him back
or something like that. That was a that was a
punk move. That was a punk move, especially when you're
much bigger than the dude and he's supposed to be
like your little kind of little brother type situation. So
that's where I disagree. I agree fights happen, but that
was different because to me, it was it was darn

(27:52):
near a sucker punch. But here's the question, can they
move on? Draymond thinks So here's what he said. I
think the more time we get away from the things,
the better. We had our conversations about what we need
to do moving forward, and we're going to do that.
I think camaraderie is a strength of ours and I
don't think that'll be taken away because we have an

(28:14):
incident that takes place. What you think they can move on?
You think this is the railsman once again. Leadership. Who's
your leaders Steph? Right, Okay, Steph is the leader of this.
If the leadership is strong, they will be just fine.
They'll be back in the Western Conference finals and might
pick to be back in the finals coming out of
the West if their leadership is strong. If their leadership

(28:37):
is not strong, Chris, we're gonna see this all year long,
because Draymond's the kind of guy when you give him
a little rope, he starts pulling it more and more,
like you like you tell your kid, Right, I give
you an niche take a mile, I give you yeah,
exact exactly. That's that's what I'm saying. So but with
this right here in free agency looming, and some money
that needs to be moved around, and somebody, some guy's

(28:58):
gotta go, he's not getting a contract extension. Yeah, well exactly,
That's what I'm saying. So we're free agency, looy. And
he knows that. Yeah, Like he knows he not getting
it this year. Yeah he might think maybe next, you know,
after the season. Yeah, he knows not getting it this year.
And also and also to Jordan Pool, from some of
the stuff that I went through and I read as
much as I possibly could find credible sources, there was

(29:18):
something said that Drew Draymond over along the lines of well,
you know what it is now where I come from,
And he was like, well what is it? Then? You
know what's up now where I come from? You know
what it is? And or you know what's up? Them's
fighting words that's like way sucker punch or dark Nears. Listen,
because I'm sure Draymond says some stuff to him too.

(29:39):
I get it, you know, but once again, once you
once you invite it, you like you trying to just
I mean Draymond talking trash to him. He can't say
nothing back. Yeah, he can say something back, calling him soft,
probably calling him to be word. He can't say nothing back. Yeah,
you can say something back, But once you say you know,
what it is or you know what sucks or you

(30:01):
know what's what do do you mean? What's wrong with that? Okay,
what's wrong with that? I mean you want to fight you? No? Yeah,
I mean and me and no, no, no, I'm not
gonna stop it. No I'm not that means we want
to fight? Yeah, yeah, you know what it is or
what you want to fight. It don't matter. You ain't
gonna be standing like you want to fight. But what's
coming out of your mouth? Listen like sing like you
justify I mean, you ain't saying it, but just sound

(30:25):
like what you're saying. No, no, I'm not. First of all,
I don't justify violence, so stop that. I don't justify violence.
What I what I am saying, though, is the entire
totality of the situation. I can understand how you got
punched when you invited someone into your space. You put
inviting me into a space. Well, when you said, what's
happening or what's up? Or what's what you trying to do?

(30:46):
Or you know what it is? And come on crush
you from the hood man, you're from the community. You
know that, bro, Come on, stop, you know what it is? Yeah? Yeah,
you know what yeah, different parts of the country. Like
I hear in LA what happening? Because the art what happening?
Because like when somebody look at you're like, all right,
so what up? What ut? What he think? Goes? You
know what our dudes on the street you're talking about
in basketball practice with teammates. Why not? Why not? We

(31:07):
have never seen NBA players come from the street and
come to it and take it and bring it to
the and bring it to the locker room. Chris, it
don't mean. It don't mean you you can darn near
sucker punch. Okay, then that's fine, that's what it don't mean. Listen,
And I don't see it as an as much as
Draymond talks, he can't get mad because the dude said
this and then then do something like that. Well, no, no,

(31:29):
he can't to you. But it's understandable when you deal
it with Draymond. That's the point I'm making. When you
dealing when they can't get past well, you're saying based
on their leaders leadership, they've got your leadership. Okay, that
they got little, but I will I will add that
they've dealt with Draymond for I don't know how long
it's been that eight years, ten years, whatever I will.

(31:49):
If he asks up, I can see them if he
if Draymond decides to just go wild, Draymond Chris, I
can really see them towards the middle of the season
saying all right, buddy, we either got to sit you
down or something. That's guy. Steve Kerr's press conference was very,
very alarming to me where he said this is the
worst like ever. When he had that press conference, that
wasn't just words. He really felt that. You could tell

(32:11):
Steve Kerr felt what he was saying. I don't think
this is just thrown away. But the leadership, if it shows,
they'll be all kay. If it doesn't, they won't be Yeah,
I think they'll be all right. And I think a
lot of it is Jordan Poole's personality, okay, um. I
think from talking to people out there, I mean, first
of all, he looks like he's been able to move

(32:31):
on right. I mean, whether it was that practice, the
video we've seen, whether it's the way he's played in games,
whether it's the meetings and him you know, by all
accounts being like yo, we're good bringing back. I mean,
obviously he's gonna feel a certain way about Draymond for
a while, but you know, he's been on board. Could

(32:52):
you do get moving if that was you? I think
I think this is the first of all, the best
thing for Jordan and for the team's for Jordan to
just be able to forgive him and move on like that.
You can't. It's only gonna eat Jordan up if he
sits there and just you know, bristles over it for months,

(33:13):
and obviously it wouldn't be good for the team. Um,
But I think the thing is, it's not like Jordan
got beat up on tape, right everybody. I mean, you
know what I'm saying, like you square up and we're
fighting it. He just demolished it. I mean most people say, like,
I agree, it wasn't a straight sucker punch, but you know,
most people, it's like a bigger dude just kind of

(33:35):
sucker punch. Yeah, it's not like people looking at Jordan
like he can't fight or he got done, you know.
So I think you know, that makes it uh different.
But yeah, I think they'll be you know, I don't
know for sure, but I think they'll be able to
move on. We'll see. Yeah, Yeah, I hope so too.

(33:56):
Because obviously they got a squad. All right, we're gonna
move on to some base ball. Aaron Judge the start
of the regular season postseason star, Uh, not so much.
Will that affect his money? That's next akable Fox Sports Radio.
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Fox sports

(34:18):
Radio dot com and within the iHeart Radio app search
f SR to listen live. All right, it's the I
couple Chris Bruce, ar VJ Husky and for Rod Parker
live from the tiraq dot com studios. VJ. Aaron Judge,

(34:40):
the hero of the regular season, sixty two home runs
broke Roger Marris's Yankee and American League record. Probably going
to be the MVP. Darn Near won the Triple Crown.
But so far in the the Yankees divisional series with

(35:03):
the Cleveland Guardians, which is knotted at one game apiece
after Cleveland won today, he's over for eight with seven strikeouts.
Today he was over for five with four strikeouts. Ouch.
Do you think this will or should give the Yankees pause?

(35:28):
As far as you know, breaking the bank so to speak,
for Aaron Judge this offseason? Should it? Yeah? Will it? No,
because this series isn't over. Yes, tied up at one
with the Guardians. So we'll see how that all plays out.
If he gets hot over the next two games, they
win the series, and then they go onto the Alds
and he hits two or three home runs in that series,

(35:50):
and this will all be for gout. I guess I'm saying.
If you know, if he continues to have a poor
he pretendues to have a poor for the Yankee No,
and I wrote some teams down here, and I wrote
the word down depends. It depends on who's gonna sign them.
If it's the Yanks, it's not gonna matter. You gotta
keep that guy there. You can't let even off of
a bad postseason. You can't let that guy walk. I mean,

(36:12):
they'll burn, they'll they'll riot in New York if they
don't resign Aaron Judge or if they let him get
over to the Mets that now have an ownership that
does not mind writing checks which we have not seen
for twenty thirty years from the New York Mets, and
then also have also the Dodgers, our team that has
shown we'll push all the chips in, We'll write the checks.
They did it for Freddie Freeman last year, what they

(36:34):
did it for Mookie Betts. Way, you don't want them
in La. Come on out here to sunny California. Get
out of that cold weather. Man, come out here. Don't
worry about your postseason woes. We got other guys. We
got Turner, we got we got other guys that get hit.
We ain't tripping over that. But if you're gonna hit
sixty something, he runs for us and have us one
one hundred, fifty hundred and twenty games, that's fine. We'll
work through all of that. So I think that it

(36:54):
will affect if there's might be another team. But if
it's the Yankees, the Yankees are gonna push the envelope
and put the money on the table. You cannot lose
this guy, I don't. I think it does not matter
when it comes to the Yanks. Some other teams, yeah,
but not the Yankees. Chris Well, It's interesting because unlike
a lot of places, Unlike most places, the Yankees are

(37:19):
all about the postseason. You know, in most cases, I mean,
all time great Barry Bonds, best baseball player I ever saw,
never won a World Series. You know, in New York
that would be untenable. But because the Yankees won so
have won so much. But elsewhere, even the Giants really

(37:43):
good franchise, you know, it's not really held for the
most part against Bonds. Obviously, people want to see him
win it though. And that said, though I do agree
with you that I think the Yankees have to bring
this guy back no matter what, No matter what, he

(38:04):
had an awesome season. I don't think he's gonna end
up getting the biggest contract ever just because of his age.
He's thirty, so it might be you know, seven eight
year deal. But what if I'm Aaron Judge, I'm like,
I gotta get the most per year. I got to
get the most per year for sure. And I think

(38:27):
to your point, look, everybody's had I mean, most great
players Alex Rodriguez. We mentioned Barry Bonds have had a
bad postseason, Yes, here or there. He hasn't been great
in the postseason. He's a career two twenty five hitter
in his thirty six playoff games, Aaron Judge. But that said,

(38:48):
I don't think it's nerves, you know what I mean.
I think he's just right now. He's not hitting the ball,
but he's got time but I think either way, like
you said, he will get his cat. Douche all right,
we got an hour left. I couple keep it locked.
