if I put on a hood a hoodie right to
cover my head, I'll put on a baseball cap. I
don't want my hair to get wet like that. But
I don't care about you act now.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
You act like you're a black woman who just left
the beauty. My hand is gonna shop. I can't get
just what if you don't stop it.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Look at Alex patting his head like he got braids.
You know, when your hair itches And I'm actually down

let's do that.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Yeah, you know that's a good point, Miss Mary. Mack
would take care of you.
Speaker 1 (03:42):
Let's do it. You and Iowa saying we need breaks.
Iowa was saying he wouldn't be able to go back
to Iowa, and it'd be like, hey, he better not
do it driving That's right.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
He messed around and pull it over.

Took, Elijah. You could have remedied that so long ago.
Speaker 1 (04:42):
Folds and that's it. Huh, Rob saying on air right now,

Speaker 1 (05:07):
No, really, Ricky from our imaging department. Yes, Ricky's girlfriend
made chocolate chip cookie.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Oh God, come on, rick you was supposed to tell me?
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Oh God, oh God is right. I had to. I
send him the picture of that old God t shirt

I didn't even front. I was like, Ricky, I need more.
They were they were delicious. They were really really good.

iHeartRadio app so that always pops up to the top
of the screen. All right, kel, well, let's go there
Thursday night football. And you know, obviously people expected the
Patriots to win in Foxborough, right, having a great season,
and the Jets are having a bad season, and they
dropped to two and eight and they lose. But what
(06:24):
comes out of the store, out of the game was
just the play of Justin Fields.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Me and you.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
We've gone back and forth. You've even admitted now like that,
like he's just regrets to the point where I don't
even know, Like what do you do? Like, like there's
conversation now people are like, he should never play quarterback
again in the NFL. I mean, think about that. You're
going from a first round pick to people saying you
shouldn't get another chance to be quarterback. But Willie Cologne, Alice,
(06:55):
do we have this the sound? Do we have the sound? Ian?
We don't have it yet? Okay? Uh. Willie Cologne is
on the Jets pre and post game show and he's
a former Jet, And listen to this sound from him, Calvin,
and then we'll talk.
Speaker 11 (07:16):
It's tough man, because Aaron Glen is going to sit
up here and talk about how he needs to watch
the tape. You don't need to watch anything justin fields,
not NFL quarterback, Like, let's just let's just be honest.
And you can't sit here and tell your team and
before games and want them to rally and want them
to give you all they got when you're not giving
your team everything they need to be successful. I mean,
she shouldn't have played in the second half, right, especially
when you have a defense who is without Quentin Williams,
(07:38):
Sautgardner and who.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
Played I mean all in all with.
Speaker 11 (07:44):
This game, and this is a game where if you
win this game, you're on a three game winn streak,
and you really start to rally the truth because now
they start believing in each other instead of it they
around them and everything you're trying to sustain. They're saying,
you know what, we won one less, We beat the
number one team in the AFC in New England. This
is billboard stuff, right, But you didn't do it solely
because what so this is like from a ballplayer standpoint,
(08:06):
if I'm sitting in that locker room and he's talking
to us and he's talking about what we should I'm like, no,
what should you have done?
Speaker 5 (08:11):
Then?
Speaker 11 (08:12):
What I should have done because the tape don't lie.
Speaker 1 (08:16):
I mean, knows are strong words for local am I right? Yeah,
I mean he's a former Jet but they do pre
impost on s n Y in New York. That's the
equivalent to spectrums. Yeah, you know what I mean that
that channel And to say he's not an NFL quarterback?
Just your reaction and also just what do you think
(08:39):
should if he doesn't play, what should he do?
Speaker 4 (08:42):
What? What? So he's gonna he's here, he's a football player.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
We both agree with that.
Speaker 8 (08:46):
Gonna play quarterback? Will he become what he ever thought
he would be? What he hoped, you know when he
was in Ohio State and gotta you know, becoming a
number one uh you know, first round draft pick and
all that stuff.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Will he be that?
Speaker 8 (08:59):
Probably not? But so I'm gonna start here. This is
what happens when you and I used to go back
and forth. Was when he was in Pittsburgh. He was
four and two, ten touchdowns, one interceptions, and the read.
I want to make sure I clarify my point then,
and because it was it was, I still believe what
I was saying then. My whole point was to just
simply see what he was because it was working when
you versus you knew what Russell Wilson was, and I
(09:20):
got totally got your point. Look, Russell Wilson, especially at
that point, he hadn't regressed as much as he had
now a year later between that and the Giant.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
So like, let's just see.
Speaker 8 (09:28):
My whole thing was, I want to see what Justin
Fields is. We got ten touchdowns, one interception, four and two. Like,
all right, let's just kind of see what that was.
I wasn't proclaiming him to be the greatest.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
It was. Let's just find this out.
Speaker 8 (09:40):
I think clearly you for him to make the business
decision and then go to the Jets, where even Aaron
Rodgers struggled, even though he put up some numbers. It's
a struggle there. You can name the quarterback that Jets
and you knew it. You said, Aaron, don't go to
the Jets.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
I said it.
Speaker 8 (09:55):
It's just yeah, exactly, so the Jets are not the
place to kind of says this person. Good because Sam Donald,
who now was balling out of control team looks great.
Super Bowl contender ball a couple of seasons now, two
different teams, has builded himself to a legitimately really good quarterback.
Not saying he's top two or three, but he's a legitimate,
really good quarterback.
Speaker 4 (10:13):
Was with the Jets and has happened so much with
the Jets.
Speaker 8 (10:16):
So justin fields, he went backwards by leaving there in
Pittsburg where he had some stability and going to the Jets.
Aaron Rodgers left at instability and went to the Steelers.
You get what I'm saying, But so go ahead the
last point. I think he's so. I think he's going
to be a quarterback again. Because we sat here and
I pulled up the numbers. If we looked at Sam
Donald his first few three four years in the league
(10:39):
when he was a Jet, we would have had Willie
Coloone saying the same thing, because he was four nine
seventy six, two and ten, four and seven and he had,
you know, seventeen touchdown, fifteen interception, nineteen touchdown, thirteen interceptions
nine eleven nine thirteen, and it was going worse and
worse and worse for him, and you wouldn't have known
(10:59):
he got there.
Speaker 4 (11:00):
I'm not saying he's the arm talent of Sam darn.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
My point is I was gonna say.
Speaker 8 (11:04):
I'm saying he's got to get out of there and
find out what he is. But you can call a
spade a spade. He looks bad. Their offense is bad.
He's not making great decisions, and he's not just putting
life into that team. More than anything, Rob right Jackson
dark when you watch him. It's not that he's putting
up crazy numbers. He's putting life into that team. And
Justin Field does not do that at all. There's no
(11:24):
life and Aaron Glynn, maybe coming down from the ownership
and general manager, is feeling forced to have to kind
of keep playing him because we'd have bought him.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
Maybe maybe they want the first round pickin.
Speaker 4 (11:35):
Lying right there.
Speaker 8 (11:36):
This is they're on a trajectory, so so I think
he'll get, you know, an opportunity. Again, there's thirty two jobs,
we know that, and there's never thirty two starting quarterbacks.
But it's a rap as far as him this year.
They need to move on. It's just not working. There's
no juice, there's no life, and he looks bad. There's
no way, there's no way around it. He just looks lifeless.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
Per se.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
Here's the number the Jets are averaging, a league low
one and thirty nine point nine passing you yards per game.
That would be the lowest in the NFL since the
two thousand and twenty two Bears they had one hundred
and thirty point five yards. Guess who the common denominator
(12:14):
is in that JF justin field? I mean, so there's
you see what I'm saying this, And then here's the
other stat that when they flashed on the screen on
Thursday Night football, you just can't you can't look away
and act like it didn't happen.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
You ready, what's that?
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Forty eight? Ian is a Jets fan? Okay, I'll producer. Sorry,
Ian knows this. Forty eight fumbles since twenty twenty one,
the most in the NFL?
Speaker 4 (12:47):
Can you that is horrible?
Speaker 1 (12:49):
Wrap your ahead around that?
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Think about that's that's a terrible stat Forty.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
Eight forty eight? How do you have four as a quarterback?
And did you see the last night?
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Yes? I did?
Speaker 8 (13:04):
And that was a backbreaker? Was I You know this
as a fan a Jets fan? Let me ask you
this as a fan. A weird thing about it is
when you watch them And this is why I think
Aaron Glynn has been able to kind of keep with
him his numbers aren't gonna wow you the positive per se,
but they're also wowing with the negative. It'll be a
buck sixty rush for sixty, a touchdown didn't turn on,
(13:27):
and you're like, I mean, it wasn't bad. And I
think that's why Aaron Glenn has been able to justify
over the last you know, three four, four weeks or so.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Would you say, I would definitely say that's the case.
Speaker 12 (13:36):
And but the thing is, though, Calvin, it's like all
those stats he'll he'll get like, you know, one hundred,
one hundred and fifteen passing yards in like the third
and fourth quarter, you know, so when it actually matters
and the game is actually still close for the Jets,
he throws like twenty five yards by halftime, right, And
we're so numb to that at this point, which is crazy.
That's not normal, Like that shouldn't be something that you
(13:57):
happens every week.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
And he's had and he's had like four he has
had four games Kelvin of sixty yards or less. That's
four games.
Speaker 12 (14:07):
And it feels like his superpower has always been running,
and even that he's doing it a lot less than
he ever has.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
So it's just that I think Aaron Glen.
Speaker 8 (14:14):
Say, Aaron Glenn said, you know, we don't want to
put him in harm's way and blah blah blah. Let
me also say this, rob that statue just said, those
forty eight fumbles, that doesn't bowl well for those who
would then say, well, his best asset as he's running
alluded to is running because I can't trust you to
run because you know, fumble. So that that's what makes
(14:34):
that more damning, is that if your idea was let's
run them more, let's make him, you know, just this
absolute beast on a running game nothing you can't stop it. Well, yeah,
if you were prepared to have fifteen sixteen eighteen fumbles
a year.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
He seemed like a great guy. And this is not
about him personally. He's just about no about him as
a as a quarterback. I just all right eight seven
seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine
six sixty three sixty nine. Question is what do you
do with Justin Fields if you were a GM or
a coach? Would he ever be your quarterback again? Should
(15:08):
he be a running back? Should he be I don't
know what? Like, what what do you do? I mean,
can he play quarterback in the NFL. I'm just not convinced.
I don't know how any coach, seriously, Kelvin going forward
could bring him to the team and say I'm putting
my eggs in this basket, Like that's the problem because
(15:31):
coming with all this baggage and whatnot, and if you
bring him along and it doesn't work out, it's gonna
be on you because he's now had enough exhibit A
that you can't say like, oh, I didn't know what
was going on. No, we got all the stats, all
the numbers, they're all out there. There's no way eight seven,
seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven, seven nine nine,
(15:53):
six sixty three sixty nine. It is The Odd Couple,

That's right. That's right, Sean King, the former NFL quarterback

So we got all of that and much more to do. Kelvin,
uh ye, you're on this bandwagon here with the Colts,
(18:57):
aren't you?
Speaker 8 (18:57):
With Daniel Yet Yeah, I think I'm not saying their
world beaters. I think that they're sustainable uh far, especially
with the running game with Jonathan Taylor, and as long
as Daniel Jones keeps being productive and doesn't turn it over,
I think they got a shot. The defense has been
solid as well, So I think there's a bunch of
teams in AFC.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Like Rob Well, I don't know what the Broncos are.
I don't know what the Chargers are.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
I don't tell you what if the Chiefs lose to
the Broncos this week, it's gonna be I'm gonna know
what the Chiefs ain't okay, because sure that'll be five
and five.
Speaker 4 (19:25):
That's yeah, five and five is you don't want to
that team obviously.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
I still remember there were fifteen and one last year.
For there would be five and five.
Speaker 8 (19:34):
Yeah, and they'll still be the team they get to
the playoffs. I'm like, oh, shoot, if I'm an AFC team,
like a.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
No, But it's harder though you say that, but in
that division, you gotta remember there's two teams that are
ahead of them.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
This is a huge That's what I'm saying. Huge, gag.
It is specifically because it's in the division.
Speaker 1 (19:50):
They got too, right, they got two teams ahead of them.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
Yeah, hope forget so.
Speaker 8 (19:54):
But with that being said, I'm saying that there's a
bunch of teams in ANC that are like you and
one last night the Patriots. It's like, I think they're good,
but part of us is like, really already that good.
So the Coats got of fit that mold right around
the Patriots of like they're playing some really good football
aside from really bad game from.
Speaker 4 (20:10):
Daniel Jones a couple of games ago. But go ahead,
I'm sorry.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
Yeah, I just so you know, they's all talk about
they're all in. You know, they obviously made a trade
with the Jets. Let Sauce Gardener right said something. They
gave up first round picks, all that they feel there's
an opening, a window or whatever. I just can't. I'm
just gonna be honest, No, Daniel Jones, I can't do it.
(20:35):
I expect no way, nohow. I expect him to turn
into a pumpkin at some point. I really do the
same way. And I'm consistent because you know I am
that brand muffin works for me. What did I tell
you about Sam Darnold like I was like, I.
Speaker 8 (20:51):
Don't want to give you that one, Rob, but I same,
but not the like the last two years he's been great,
No except for those.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
But my point was at some point that's what happens.
And then Minnesota of course moved off of him. If
he was a world beater, and they would be like
JJ McCarthy, I don't care if we draft, we trade him.
You would do something if you really had your guy.
And they didn't believe in Sam Donald enough because the
two worst games came into two biggest spots, so you
(21:20):
can do there, you know what I mean? And you
you know this. Had they beat the Lions the last
game of the game of the last game of the
season and won a division, Sam Donald would still be
the quarterback. I'm telling you, I don't have any doubt
about that. But that didn't happen. And then when he
got in the playoffs with another chance, he went the
better in that game, so so there was that. Anyway,
(21:43):
I just this too much bad stuff, uh, video and
stuff of Daniel Jones that I can't get unseen, Like
I just I can't unsee it.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
Is what's the movie with was it? Willard with the rats.
Speaker 1 (21:59):
With the rats. I just can't can't see it now,
I can't unsee it. And he's gotta be he is
on my I'll believe it when I see it, when
he's holding the Lombardi Trophy, I'll be like, I'm wrong,
I was wrong. That's that's that's that's the only thing
that would change my mind about Daniel Joneses that he'd
(22:19):
actually have to hold the Lombardi Trophy.
Speaker 8 (22:22):
This is one of those times you sometimes our philosophies
in our theology.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
It's kind of change a little bit. You and I like, like.
Speaker 8 (22:30):
You, I'm more of a let me find my guy
till I got it, do him. I got my guy,
even if I have to kind of go through a
guy or two to get there.
Speaker 4 (22:37):
You're more of, hey, we're just trying to win it.
Speaker 8 (22:38):
So even if I gotta throw you know, Aaron Rodgers
is one of the examples.
Speaker 5 (22:41):
We u.
Speaker 8 (22:41):
I gotta put Russell Wilson in there. I'm more of
a put Jackson Darty and let me see if that's
my guy. This one is another one where we're different.
You are going to the end result so much super
Bowl or bus where Yeah, that sounds great, but thirty
one other teams ain't winning the Super Bowl.
Speaker 1 (22:57):
No, No, I get that. I'm just talking about when you
so giving up first round picks on a gull, That's
what I'm talking about, because they're ri in. They pushed
that Jerson. I mean, that's different from all right, hey,
let's ride with them, Let's see what happens this year.
Whatever can give it up first round picks. Everybody in
the NFL, talk to any of the general managers. They
(23:18):
can't believe what the Jets got. They can't believe it.
Speaker 8 (23:23):
Well, listen, he has warranted it. I'm talking about, of course,
Daniel Jones. This year. The team is obviously eight and two,
and when you look at what he's been able to
do this year, it's amazing. Right now, it's like night
and day from what he was with the Giants. Seventy
percent passing almost twenty seven hundred yards, he's got fifteen touchdowns,
(23:47):
he got seven interception in half of it, whether four
of them came in that one game.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
But he's rushing the ball as well.
Speaker 8 (23:53):
Obviously they got a really great running game with Jonathan
Taylor's well, but he does add that element still and
when they're talking about giving him a Baker light.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
When you read further into this Jeremy Foller.
Speaker 8 (24:02):
Story, they're talking about Baker Mayfield Sam Donald type of
deal where they got those three year deals worked around
one hundred, so that puts you in around thirty three
million a year.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
That actually is a steal.
Speaker 8 (24:15):
If you believe you got your guy in current day
NFL rop you start to look at some of this
list of guys.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
I mean, I'm gonna read off guys.
Speaker 8 (24:25):
Jordan Love, is that because you already know Dak's number
one sixty, But then it goes Joe Burrow fifty five,
Josh Allen, Jordan Love, Trevor Lawrence, they're all making fifty five,
two of them making fifty three. Bruck Purdy just got
his deal for fifty three, Jared Goff fifty three, fifty
two and a half, Justin Herbert Lamar fifty two.
Speaker 4 (24:43):
So my point is, if I can get.
Speaker 8 (24:47):
Sam Donald, Baker Mayfield, and I can get Daniel Jones
at thirty three million, starter can win me. Let's say
ultimately they end up winning eleven twelve to games, maybe thirteen,
and I can get some s of that for a
handful of years that's a great deal and some stability
to your organization, having a great running game, having some
(25:08):
nice weapons on the outside, and having a guy as
long as you done turned the ball over again like
with the Seahawks now having Sam Donald with the Bucks
love in Baker Mayfield.
Speaker 4 (25:18):
For that money, that's a robbery almost, you know what
I mean. But here the NFL.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
But here's where your kick is wide right, is that
this isn't just a bottom now playing buffalo about the
money that you're getting a quarterback for. Because once you
start trading first round draft picks, it's at a higher level.
Would you agree with that, I'll give you okay. Once
(25:42):
you start it ain't like, oh, we got lucky, we
got a quarterback whatever. Now we're giving up picks because
who don't expect this guy just to win ten or
eleven games and get to the playoffs. You think you
got a shot. That's the only way you give up
picks during the season. You believe you got a shot
to win. I don't believe and Daniel Jones enough to
(26:05):
be able to do that. I don't care what price.
That's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 8 (26:10):
But here, so here's the thing, and this is where
You can look at a Mike McCarty for an example.
On one end, you could say Mike McCarthy with the Cowboys,
when everyone's there and healthy, do was twelve and five
right and not won a Super Bowl, didn't go to
NFC ship. But you're giving yourself a chance. Other people say,
I'll give you enough chances, so you gotta go. That's
(26:31):
what Jerry Jones chose to do. We're I'm going with this,
says the Coats. They can say, you just mentioned well,
it ain't about winning eleven games. The only way I
can win the Super Bowl is by I got to
get in the postseason, right. I got to be there
multiple times, get some cracks at it. And that's where again,
like the forty nine ers, give brought Party that money
because they're saying we missed, we fell short. We got
to a super Bowl with him, But when he's healthy
(26:53):
and right, he plays well, we give it. We're giving
ourselves chances with the guy who's good, really good in quality.
Speaker 4 (26:58):
That's what the Coats believe they have.
Speaker 8 (26:59):
Daniel Jones, I'm agree with you that it's early in
the sense of this is year one and it's you know,
here we are eight nine weeks in, ten weeks in,
So do you franchise them? Is an interesting point. A
lot of people say that's what the Viking should have
did with Sam Darnold. Franchise them.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Noo, he'll make more than thirty three.
Speaker 8 (27:20):
Yeah, but it's only one year, right, so I don't
know what the number would have been. Let's say here,
let me.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Hit my last pushback for you an eight seven seven
ninety nine on Fox. If you want to try to
get into this conversation. Here's the other one. They've won
eight games. Only two of the teams they've beaten are
over five hundred. That's what scares me. That's what scares me.
Speaker 4 (27:43):
That is a fair point. All right.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
They beat the Broncos, and they beat the Chargers, but
they charge us they got six wins against bad teams.
And and and I'm afraid do you know what I mean?
Like that's not enough? And and and that's the part
where if you're the colt, you got to be like, dude,
we going to are we making too big of this?
(28:06):
Is this a schedule that has made Daniel Jones have
a rebirth or is it really him? I think it's
a schedule so far, I do.
Speaker 8 (28:17):
I actually will concede you that point that I do
think that it's help. Where I'll also offer where I
think that they feel have a level of comfortability is
they have arguably the best running attack right now in
the NFL. And so I think they're saying if we
were singularly solely depending on you know, if this were
you know, I don't want to say Patrick Mahomes like
(28:39):
he hadn't had weapons, but you get what I'm saying,
it's Dad Marino or something this other where it's just him,
it's Lamar Jackson at times like remember Lamar two years ago,
pre Dereck Henry with all his running backs round and.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
Got it, and he still was putting that nobody here,
he had nobody.
Speaker 8 (28:51):
He was like Rob Parker getting there running back Kelvin
go Be split out at the receiver and still's getting
an MVP. If it were that where they're like, that's
all all we have, I would give you that they're like,
I'm a little skeptical. It's that I think they know
they have weapons on the outside, and they have Jonathan Taylor,
who's absolutely a contender for MVP balling out of control,
and I think they can say, for a handful of years,
(29:12):
we got this. As long as he's again playing at
this level, we know he's gonna have a bad game
here there, that's what quarterbacks do. But as long as
he's playing at this level with this running game, defense
is middle of the pack right now, middle of the road.
But and those weapons, I think that's also why they
can lean on. It's not just like, oh, he's our everything.
Pat Mahomes at times, Lamar at times, Josh Allen for sure,
(29:34):
at times.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
I don't think they view it like that, all right,
eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox eight seven seven
nine nine six sixty three sixty nine. Where are you?
Are you buying Daniel Jones? Are you like the Vikings,
You're all in trading draft picks? Or is this the
real deal? Has he transferred as a transformation into a
(29:56):
really good quarterback? Or is this just because of schedule?
Are you confident in Daniel Jones? I'm not Kelvin is
I'm not wear you? Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.
It is the Odd Couple, Rob Parker Kelvin Washington right
here on Fox Sports Radio on a funky flashback Friday,
Stick and stay.
Speaker 12 (30:19):
Especially if you're a believer in Daniel Jones in the
USA aon Hi Kevin, Hey, Hey, the believer is a
little too strong.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Please use as directed.
Speaker 8 (31:14):
All right, let me clarify I ain't a big time
believer in Danny Dimes as much as stiking their coach,
their offensive mama believe. Also, Daniel Jones has been playing
well and Jonathan Taylor. I'm in on there with they're
cooking up offensively. I don't want to act like I'm
a Danny Dimes. Believe I pray at the after of
(31:34):
Danny Dimes. Don't let me not say that. But I
like what they're cooking up, and it makes sense to
get them for you know, one hundred million for a
few years. That's chief for a quarterback. Rob said, no
way to know? How what say you? Eight seven, seven
ninety nine on Fox Who we got.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Andrew in Chicago? You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up Andrew?
Speaker 5 (31:51):
What's up?
Speaker 7 (31:52):
Robin Kel? Robin Andrew from the White Sox game.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
I know, I know.
Speaker 1 (31:57):
I knew that was you, Andrew from Chicago. I knew
was you that? Without even knowing I knew it. What's up?
Speaker 5 (32:02):
My man?
Speaker 7 (32:04):
Rob?
Speaker 1 (32:05):
Bible Beer, No, no, no, he came to the game.
We met there. We had a bunch of people and
we took in a White Sox.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
Game nice, real, real quick.
Speaker 5 (32:15):
And I couldn't believe it.
Speaker 7 (32:16):
Kelvin of how strict Rob was with his diet. I
got him a pizza, and I kid you not. He
takes the cheese and he's just eating the cheese from
the top.
Speaker 4 (32:27):
Just see you know that cheese. Yeah, listen, I'll give
him credit, Rob. Listen.
Speaker 8 (32:33):
Rob is a lot of things, but one thing he
is is an oat brahd muffet. He is consistent when
he locks in. I'll give him that. I was impressed.
I sat next to him.
Speaker 4 (32:42):
Now.
Speaker 8 (32:42):
Granted I have to smell and see everything he eats
every day all day, but I was impressed.
Speaker 7 (32:48):
Rob. I give that all right, all right, appreciate that
real quick.
Speaker 5 (32:54):
Rob.
Speaker 7 (32:54):
When you're right, I gotta give you your props. Sean
and I we both thought Big Dumper was going to
get that VP. I still think he deserves it, but
looks like we were both wrong.
Speaker 4 (33:03):
But I got your problem too.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
Yeah, I'll take that one, no doubt about it. I'll
take that one.
Speaker 9 (33:11):
Bro.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
We up, Baby?
Speaker 1 (33:14):
Where are you on? Daniel Jones? You win or out?
Speaker 7 (33:18):
To be honest, I'm out. But I understand why they're
doing it and at that price, because the Colts come on,
they're trying to get that QB. First, they had their
goat that ended up retiring early, and then you go
after Philip Rivers. So I feel like they're just trying
to find something, so they're like, hey, we have nothing
else to lose in for that price, let's fill the pieces.
(33:39):
What's the worst thing that can happen?
Speaker 1 (33:42):
That's right, No, I get it. But I just when
you start giving up draft picks Andrew, that's when I'm out.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
I heard it.
Speaker 5 (33:49):
I appreciate you, Thank you, take care of guys.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
How about Don Don in the UK? Don is calling
from the UK.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
You're now it's it's a up.
Speaker 4 (34:01):
Okay.
Speaker 8 (34:01):
I was gonna say, wow, the UPE we know you
don international rop.
Speaker 1 (34:06):
That's right, what's up?
Speaker 4 (34:08):
How are you?
Speaker 13 (34:09):
Hey?
Speaker 9 (34:10):
I'm doing good.
Speaker 6 (34:10):
How you guys doing tonight?
Speaker 4 (34:12):
Doing well?
Speaker 5 (34:12):
Brother?
Speaker 4 (34:12):
Thank you?
Speaker 14 (34:14):
Good good? And so listen Daniel Jones, nice guy, great kisser.
Speaker 6 (34:19):
He's a terrible quarterback.
Speaker 14 (34:21):
And I'm glad psych can see something.
Speaker 9 (34:23):
And but come on, Kevin.
Speaker 5 (34:24):
O'Connell had no use for this guy?
Speaker 14 (34:25):
You really think if he was worth anything, right, would
it have been the backup this year? And then I
don't know, I don't have the data in front of me,
but like I think they played probably the top ten
easiest schedules so far this year.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
Yeah, Rob, we got somewhere that I appreciate it to go.
Speaker 1 (34:39):
Here, No, no doubt, don you'll just spot on with
the schedule and uh and with the micros.
Speaker 8 (34:45):
The schedule thing Rod drives me crazy, though, is because
and we all do it like I do it, you
do it, We all do it. It all depends on
what you like. Men, if you're a pro a team,
because they will say, well, you can only beat.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
Who's in front of you. I mean, what can I do?
Speaker 8 (34:59):
I can only be If you don't like a team
will say, man, look at they only beat such and
such like.
Speaker 1 (35:04):
No, I get it. But when you're trying to convince
me of somebody who has been bad for a long
time and now he's good, I'm gonna expect this pro
I'm gonna look at the schedule. I'm gonna look at
the schedule.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
Don't disrespect Daniel Jones pro bro here.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
What about Dion?
Speaker 4 (35:19):
Fifteen touchdowns and got approvo?
Speaker 1 (35:21):
He had thirteen? Was it fifteen touchdown games?
Speaker 12 (35:24):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (35:25):
Dion? In Texas? You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up? Dion?
Speaker 4 (35:29):
Hey?
Speaker 5 (35:29):
What's up?
Speaker 4 (35:30):
Rob bro?
Speaker 5 (35:32):
Hey?
Speaker 9 (35:32):
I'm doing well. I hope you're doing well, and I
hope you guys have a good weekend. I want to
just weigh in. I don't like the way Daniel Jones
played these last two games. He's reminded me of the
bad New York Giants. Daniel Jones. He's turkeed the ball
over quite a lot. And then on the other hand,
guys played some bad teams. But guess what, he's beatn him.
That's what any quarterback is supposed to do.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
That's what you want to I agree, and I'm not
in Dion's spot, that's true. My issue is when you're putting,
when when the coach go all in, and when I
say go all in, when you start giving up first
round draft picks. You believe Daniel Jones isn't just gonna
win eleven games. You think he's gonna take you somewhere?
(36:13):
Do you do? You agree with that?
Speaker 5 (36:14):
Right? I do agree?
Speaker 9 (36:16):
And Rob my last point, I was gonna say, as
long as they don't give up any more first round
draft picks, they got a pretty complete team, so they
can get some good second, third, and fourth rounders, maybe
make a trade here and there. I think they will
be okay with just giving him just a little bit
of money, because we know thirty million dollars is not
a lot for a starting quarterback along the bitch. Ain't
(36:37):
drafted guy and have to pay nothing. So I think
they'll be okay.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
One last thing, one last thing, Dan, real quick. Yeah,
are they going to the AFC Championship game? Yes? Or no?
That's all I want to hear from. Yes or no?
Speaker 9 (36:49):
I don't know who. Kansas City?
Speaker 4 (36:50):
No?
Speaker 1 (36:50):
No, no, okay there wait, listen to you Kansas City
all he sounded like me, Rob, Yes.
Speaker 9 (36:58):
I got I'm gonna break this news real quick. In
the FC West, all three teams out there will finish
eleven and six. Not the you know, the records don't count,
but the FC West, all those things in Finnish eleven
and six and Daniel Jones they might No, no, I'm
gonna say no, it's gonna be probably New England or somebody.
Speaker 1 (37:16):
Okay, all right in New England, I don't think so.
All right. Appreciate that, guys. One last who's this Bopper
in Massachusetts? The bopper you're on the odd couple of
Fox Sports Radio. What's up, Bopper?
Speaker 6 (37:30):
Good, good evening, gentlemen. I always appreciate the band, sir,
always appreciate the band. I hope you guys are well.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
We're doing great, no doubt.
Speaker 6 (37:37):
Yes, Okay, old timer, a sixty five year fan of
the Baltimore Flash Indianapolis coach.
Speaker 3 (37:45):
I get what you're saying.
Speaker 6 (37:47):
The Coats do have the greatest differential, you know, points
scored to points. Giving up in the NFL, just e
f fact is a fact. They have beaten who they're
supposed to be. They didn't give up two one draft
picks for Daniel Jones. They gave it up.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
For Sauce, right right, right, No, no, no, that's what
I'm mean.
Speaker 6 (38:08):
Police, a defensive rookie year.
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Oh that was that was years ago. He ain't that
same player. I hate to break it to him.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
That's two years.
Speaker 1 (38:17):
He's not the same player. He's not the same player.
Speaker 4 (38:21):
Just needed a couple of years. That's all.
Speaker 6 (38:23):
Okay, Okay, one more thing, if you will. You talk
about giving up number one first round draft picks.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
Justin Fields was the first round draft pack. Who who's
guarantine that the number one you're drafted. You're giving away
potential for what you see is long term a steady
defensive backfield that will get you something a good linebacking corps.
Speaker 6 (38:49):
Goof Okay, Dona n Taylor Popper.
Speaker 1 (38:53):
I want you to call back when they're not in
the AFC Championship game. You better call back. You better
call back.
Speaker 5 (39:00):
Oh, they'll be there all right.
Speaker 1 (39:01):
Where are you and you're in Massachusetts. We're gonna bet something.
You better call back when they When Daniel Jones loses
in the first round.
Speaker 6 (39:10):
The first the first round the playoffs, I'll give you.
I'll give you a rank.
Speaker 1 (39:13):
Okay, sounds good. Thank you appreciate it.
Speaker 6 (39:15):
You know I love you guys.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
Okay, yes, I appreciate it. Thank you, I appreciate It's good.
We could have a back and forth. I'm he's supposed
to feel that way. That's his his team. I can't
teams playing.
Speaker 8 (39:25):
It's not like you said, and ever sitting here at
you know three and six, they're feeling good.
Speaker 1 (39:29):
I've said it a million times. I don't root for teams.
I root for my predictions to be right. That's all.
So when you hear me with passion about stuff, it's
not because I hate Daniel Jones or I hate the cold,
or you know what I mean, Like like.
Speaker 8 (39:46):
No, Rob, we know you only you know you just
hate Lebron and the Lakers and the Dodgers and Aaron
Judges right, no you love a Oh god, you get
all your panties in the bunch when somebody say so
about him? Did you sit act?
Speaker 4 (40:03):
Hey?
Speaker 13 (40:03):
Hey?
Speaker 4 (40:03):
Did you see boy?
Speaker 8 (40:04):
Let me tell you something you better not ever tell
me you sore from all that moving the other day
the way you jumped out your seat when Aaron Jones
was named ivy pot What hi sort you.
Speaker 4 (40:14):
Jumped out the seat? All right?
Speaker 8 (40:15):

minus three and a half, Old Miss minus eleven and
a half take it to the bank, added the Shekel City.
(43:40):
I tell you're doing better, Rob, I'm watching you.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Hey, I've been winning lately, my man winning.
Speaker 5 (43:44):
No doubt that I've been watching you.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
All right, Well, we appreciate it.
Speaker 8 (43:48):
I saw that Penn State won and I thought of
you too. The touchdown and have name mess around and
won that thing.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
Hey, well you know you know, all right, we gotta
go here.
Speaker 11 (43:57):
Real qu.
Speaker 1 (44:00):
The you know all to talk about Justin Fields. I
think you like Justin Fields, correct, stop me if I'm wrong,
But where do you go with him?
Speaker 2 (44:07):
Now?
Speaker 1 (44:08):
I mean it last night most people are saying that
he shouldn't be a quarterback or he's not good enough
to be a quarterback in the NFL. You played the position,
You've watched. This guy's been in the league for years now.
I can't believe he has forty eight fumbles in fifty
nine and fifty three starts in the NFL. What do
you do, Sean, if you're Aaron Glenn or any other
(44:30):
coach going forward with Justin.
Speaker 5 (44:32):
Fields, Well, I don't think Tyrod Taylor is fully healthy,
so I'm not sure that making a change gives you
a better chance to win in a given Sunday in
twenty twenty five. I'm a big fan of Justin Fields.
The person. I think Justin Fields the quarterback is broken.
Speaker 1 (44:48):
Yeah, something's not right.
Speaker 5 (44:50):
Yeah, the amount of criticism ridicule. I think the emotional
impact that Pittsburgh going to Russell will Sin last year
when he was starting, while Russell was hurt and the
Steelers were winning, I don't think that gets talked about enough.
I think that really stole his confidence and he's never
regained it. So I mean, if I'm the Jets, I'm
(45:12):
going to hope and prayed that light goes on the
rest of the year. But I'm more than likely in
the market come draft time or either this offseason at
freegency for a quarterback.
Speaker 1 (45:21):
Let me ask you what the fumbles? Because I can't.
Is his hands too small? Why can't he hold onto
the ball?
Speaker 8 (45:28):
Forty forty eight No, I'm not gotta be Kawhi leonardhead
Sean forty.
Speaker 1 (45:34):
Eight fumbles and fifty three starts. I never heard of
a number like that.
Speaker 5 (45:40):
So a couple of them last night I think were
low snaps.
Speaker 1 (45:43):
Right, there was a low snap, Oh my god.
Speaker 5 (45:46):
But I think a lot of it comes from hither.
He's not seeing the field clearly, so he holds onto
the football for extended periods of time. That's why it
always seems like they're only good players. And when he
scrambles like he's not confident, he's not seeing it clearly,
and his fundamentals are rolling. His footwork is bad. He
doesn't throw the ball with confidence, he doesn't throw it
(46:06):
with with like a commitment to this is the right throw,
the right velocity, the right art, the right decision. Like,
It's just a lot of things I can tell upstairs
as it pertains the football that aren't in the right
place and turnover to happen when you're focused, mistakes happen.
Speaker 8 (46:24):
Hey, sean man, we got some really really good games
coming up this week. As a handful of good ones,
I want to start with this one right here. This
one could potentially be to say the statement of who's
the best in the NFC. You got set Rams gonna
be hosting the Seahawks right there. Two teams that look good,
two teams that look very complete as well. Who do
you like in this one?
Speaker 4 (46:45):
And why? What do you think is gonna be the
reason why they win?
Speaker 5 (46:50):
I'm still not a full believer in the Seahawks, so
I'm going with the Rams at home in this game.
Speaker 1 (46:56):
And listen, why do you say that is it?
Speaker 5 (47:01):
I don't know. I know anybody can lose to anybody
in the NFL, but I still don't know what quality
opponent Seattle's beating. Washington's a dead dog. They beat them
without James Daniels will start to finish. If you watch
the Arizona game. I mean it was twenty one to
zero and the defensive scored twice. So they just they
boat roast errors, they boat raced errors. I want to see.
(47:23):
I'm very skeptical of Sam Donald and Daniel Jones no
matter what they do in the regular season, until I
see one of them in the playoffs play at that level.
So I trust Matthew Stafford more. I like what Seattle's doing,
but I don't fully believe in it. I'm going Rams.
I think they're a more sound investment of the two teams.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
And you mentioned Daniel Jones. Obviously the Colts, you know,
trading first round picks for Sauce Gardner. They're all LT
on Daniel Jones. I'm not in there. I can't do it.
They're eight and two or whatever. I think they're eight two,
but the six of their wins against teams under five hundred,
(48:01):
they've had a really easy schedule. I'm just not I
can't believe. I can't unsee all the bad Daniel Jones.
Where are you on Daniel Jones and the Coles?
Speaker 5 (48:11):
I agree with you one. I'm not a believer in
the last not this week because Taylor went for three touchdown,
But the two games. Part of that when he struggled,
you know, in the running game wasn't as dominant as
it has been and Daniel had to throw the ball
for him to win. Some of the old Daniel Jones
started to pop up and show itself again. But let
(48:32):
me say this about the Coats in general and the
National Football League. If Jonathan Taylor is not NFL MVP,
He's to play at the level. The NFL really needs
to just publicly say a non quarterback can't win NFL
MVP because what Jonath Tamer is doing next year is unbelievable.
Speaker 4 (48:52):
Yeah, we hear you.
Speaker 8 (48:53):
We talked about it, but JA is about to be
Matthew Stafford or Drake May.
Speaker 4 (48:58):
They're gonna give it to a quarterback. It's just what's
what they do.
Speaker 5 (49:01):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (49:01):
Let me ask you this with Sean King our guests,
of course, on the I Cup of Robin Kelvin on
a worship I worship free fucking freestyle Friday, real quick.
Speaker 4 (49:08):
I'm looking at this one.
Speaker 5 (49:10):
For me.
Speaker 8 (49:10):
I'm biased enough, of course, I'm Alliance fan, but I
feel like they've been playing better football than the Eagles,
even though the Eagles have the better record.
Speaker 1 (49:17):
Where are you the Lions homer, go ahead.
Speaker 4 (49:19):
No, I said, I lad with that Eagles Lions. The
Lions are obviously playing.
Speaker 8 (49:26):
Better, but the Eagles are the better record, the rgning champs,
so you want to put some respect.
Speaker 4 (49:29):
On their name.
Speaker 5 (49:30):
I believe in the Detroit Lions offense. I'm about twenty
percent of believer on the defensive side of the ball.
When they've gone up against a quality quarterback and quality
passing game, they've gotten bitch krieg on the back end.
So I just I'm nervous about them when they get
in the playoffs and they've got to go up against
Stafford or Baker Mayfield or or this week they played
(49:52):
which Dalen Hurts will we get. I'm assuming they're gonna
target AJ Brown after his comments where he finally admitted
what I've been saying. Remb I came on here last
year and a half and said AJ Brown is close
to exploding. So maybe they decided to target the best
wide receiver this week. And Jalen Hurts look confident throwing
the ball. But I'm not a full believer on the
(50:13):
back end of that Detroit defense quite yet.
Speaker 8 (50:15):
All right, no doubt I go the same thing that's
the end of the team that worries me and anybody
who watches him.
Speaker 1 (50:22):
Sean, thank you mane making the playoffs. So we'll see.
Speaker 5 (50:26):
Yeah. Hey, one thing we did find out about your
Lions though, Dan Campbell actually the EXUS and OSE guy.
Until that point we just thought he was a Yeah.
Speaker 8 (50:35):
I saw that boy out there. It wasn't a menu, Rob.
He was calling plays.
Speaker 4 (50:38):
It wasn't a menu.
Speaker 1 (50:39):
Well, let's just see when it's let's see when it's
a different competition though. We'll see.
Speaker 4 (50:43):
All right, I just didn't make it this time.
Speaker 5 (50:45):
By the way, Old miss and Kansas City the plays
the weekend. But Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, get your popcorn.
We got some big time colors.
Speaker 1 (50:56):
I think there's a chance that Kansas City gets shut out.
I'm just saying you mean to shut out.
Speaker 5 (51:01):
As meaning like in the fourth quarter after thirty five
to three.
Speaker 1 (51:04):
No, I mean like shut out. You're not good Denvers
defenses Man.
Speaker 5 (51:08):
Patrick, No Patrick, No, Patrick, certain he's out this week.
Speaker 1 (51:10):
Yeah, but their defense has been unbelievable. All Right, we
gotta go.
Speaker 4 (51:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 8 (51:13):
Appreciate you, tie man, appreciate it. All right, we talk
about it. The Steelers and the Ravens in their division.
Right now, there's somebody who's practicing who might be trying
to come back and say the day we'll tell you
who it is next to the couple Fox Sports Radio,
and you're gonna be sor tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (51:27):
Oh I already feel it. Wow, Yeah, tomorrow's gonna be
a rough day.
