Speaker 1 (01:37):
Houshman's out of the former Pro Bowl wide receiver co
host of up on game right here on Fox Sports Radio.
So we got a lot to get to here. In
our number two and Rob Ge, there is a team
that went to the Super Bowl.
Speaker 4 (01:52):
Well one of them.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
Is rolling at eight and two, the Chiefs, No, the Eagles,
and the other one is scruggling, struggling, struggling at five
and five.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Who would that be, Rob g That would be the
Kansas City Chieftains. Did you see the way I didn't
give it all the way up? It's fine struggling. Now
you mentioned that they lost.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
It was a tough game coming off of by which
makes it even more an excuse me.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
I thought that what's his name, mark Andy Weed is
unbelievable coming off They say that's what they said, and
apparently not.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
Patrick Mahomes threw a pick six, got overturned and he's like,
you know, I'll throw another one later on in the drive,
will make it right, So don't worry about it.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
It was one of those games for the Chiefs. But
the big story, I.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
Mean, obviously the game is the game. We'll get to
that later. The big story is what's up next for
Kansas City. As of right now, NFL next Gen Stats
pegs them as having a ten percent chance to win
the division. They're three and a half games back of Denver,
plus Denver now as the tiebreaker, at least for now.
(02:58):
More importantly, however, teams that start the season five and
five historically only make the playoffs.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Nine percent of the time. Wow.
Speaker 5 (03:10):
And if that wasn't bad enough, If Kansas City were
to make the postseason, and let's say they don't win
the division, but hey, we can get in as a wildcard.
We got one extra team from a couple of years ago.
We'll sneak in as a wildcard above Kansas City. The
three wildcard teams right now seven and three, Buffalo Bills,
(03:30):
seven and four, LA Chargers, six and four, Jacksonville Jaguars.
All three of those teams number one, have beaten Kansas City.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
That's something. Number two.
Speaker 5 (03:44):
All three of those teams have considerably easier schedules moving forward,
which means it is possible, if not likely, that at
least one, if not all three will win ten games.
In that scenario, the Kansas City Chiefs would have to
win eleven games just to make the postseason, which means
(04:06):
winning six of the last seven.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
Yeah. I mean they are in between a rock and
a hardy. Yeah. That game yesterday was huge.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
All the way around. Yeah, that was a game they
needed to have. And I'm not gonna say I told
you so or anything. The season is not over, but
I told you so before the season started. I did
say they wouldn't make the playoffs. I'm not surprised.
Speaker 4 (04:29):
I'm not. Also, you mentioned the Mahomes.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
He has three red zone interceptions that basically have helped
them lose games. Yesterday was Terry Philly is one to
pick six Jacksonville, and then yesterday, which was a ten
point swing, you know what I mean. I mean, No,
that's huge from a touchdown and then a field goal
for them on the other end in a game you
(04:53):
lose by three, it's a huge, huge. But last year
I talked about it. I don't know if I've seen different,
rob g I've seen uh ten and oh in one
score games, eleven and oh one score and even ESPN
just had a said twelve and oh you know in
(05:13):
one score games.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Am I.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
I don't know if the people are including like postseason
and not saying it or something, but it keeps ESB
had twelve.
Speaker 6 (05:21):
One right, and I'm looking at it going. We've been
talking about.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Eleven and oh, at least we have and then Iver
saw somebody said ten and oh well the other thing too,
is a oh and five and one score game.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
That's what they used to be about.
Speaker 1 (05:34):
Don't let it be closed because guess what, they'll beat
you in the end. And when Kelsey got the touchdown,
what happened? You thought, Oh it is look at the
magic Kelsey at least for one game. Oh he's back.
And then one one one just didn't happen. And bo
Knicks we talked about it. Let me say I said
(05:55):
this to you before. Defense always gives you a shot
at being in games. I don't care what anybody says.
If you have a d you always have a shot
because that other team is not gonna get enough points
to run away from you, you know. And then bow
knicks a couple of big throws that third down throw right,
(06:20):
big catch and throw and catch.
Speaker 6 (06:22):
But this is what I'm saying. This doesn't feel the same.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
It feels and I know we can talk about it,
you know, the end of a dynasty or whatever. I
just think that it ain't the same team. I know
you thought once he got the receivers back that they
were gonna be a juggernaut offensively, and they had a
few games against some bad teams, but that offense isn't
the same. Patrick Mahomes isn't the same. He hasn't been
(06:49):
really the same for a while. And he had I'll
give you three or four games this year where he
put lit up the scoreboard and you can look at
the opponents. I think they're what they beat the Lions
and what other game? Only two teams they Lions. Uh,
there's only two teams that they beat the whole season.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Yeah, they beat the Ravens and uh.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
And the Ravens are five and five. Who else?
Speaker 3 (07:12):
And then as far as those types went going to
beat through Commanders, they beat the Raiders, they beat the
you know you mentioned the Lions.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
Uh, and that's it.
Speaker 3 (07:20):
I mean they lost to the Jacks, they beat the
they lost to the Eagles.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
The beating any the lines of the Ravens and the
Ravens are five and five, and I get it there
they are, right, but at that time they were bad
when they beat them on the.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Offensively, they were they were going trying to figure things out.
They were string.
Speaker 1 (07:36):
They were struggling big time. But but I don't know
where you want to.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
I know you felt good like they're going to the
super Bowl, and they had and they had the run
that I thought offensively right, because we've seen this season
a lot of teams play down to other teams and
not do stuff, and they were.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
They were putting up big time points. I mean prior
to this game.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
You know, they obviously lose to the Bills, but then
they had twenty eight points, at thirty one points, they
had thirty points. They had twenty points to their thirty
seven points of their offense. That got back to what
you kind of expected. And Patrick Mahomes was looking really
good to the tune of Vegas, which obviously they altered
that every other week or so, but oh, he was
up playing MVP anymore. That was a big game. And
(08:15):
that was a game to me to what we're saying
that they would typically win, and he they.
Speaker 1 (08:20):
Were favorites on the road coming off the buy and
the idea that the Broncos had won seven in a row.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
That's how much people believed believed him. Yes, and and
it was right there as you mentioned. But I have
to give credit to bow Knicks. First off, we already
know the Broncos defense is spectacular and that's what Super.
Speaker 4 (08:38):
Bowl that has kept them in it.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
You look at the Eagles didn't have great game offensively
the last few but the defense keeps submitted. The Bears
to an extent, have had a couple of times where
the defense that kept you. And that's just a huge
party games. It's three facets of the game. Special teams, defense, offense.
Bow Knicks made the plays that you expect Patrick Mahomes
to make, and so I give credit to him because
(09:01):
he made that throw reminded me of that Eli Manning
Mario Manningham type, Like that was a big time throw
he made on the edge there, deep pass got them
in field goal range and ultimately would kick the field
goal and win the game. But yeah, the Chiefs their
ability to not finish games, and you'll have to be
eleven and oh twelve and oh whatever it ended up
being last season, But you can't beat zher and five. Right,
(09:23):
you're two and two and three. You're three and two.
You had a whole different outcome. Now you got some leeway.
You cut yourself some slack if you do lose a
game or two and that, and so nobody's asking me
twelve and oh again that's almost impossibility. But you can't
be this bad. You can't not finish games. And some
of this is Patrick Mahomes. Some of this is the offensive.
You know the schematics if you will, but the defense
(09:43):
has been solid enough to keep you in games. You
have an opportunity to win with Patrick Mahomes, and they
haven't and they haven't beaten good teams.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
And I have the scary.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Part, when you honestly look at it, you gotta say,
who are they beating?
Speaker 3 (09:55):
And teams are the magic of the fear of playing
them is no longer there now if they get to
the postseason, whatever happens, you never know, but the simply
just the.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
Fear of it is gone.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Teams have had to play them now for seven eight years,
whatever it's been with Patrick Mahomes in his run, Teams
ain't scared of them.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
And I just gave you the three examples Philly, uh
Jacksonville and Bill and.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
Denver and the Bills. Don't forget the Bills too. Did
he talk turn it over there?
Speaker 1 (10:23):
But I'm just saying in that one Mahomes gave it
up red zone intercepject.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
And again last night was terrible, like he was right there,
just throw it away or the guy, I don't know,
if he didn't see him and it was right in front
of him, do it right to him. So they're they're
in an unfamiliar territory. They're currently on the outside looking
at the postseason and this is gonna be a gut
check for them.
Speaker 4 (10:44):
But this was.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
Supposed to be that moment right there. It was like, Okay,
we don't care what you've done, Broncos.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
We're the change.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
We've owned this division. You know what I mean. If
they would have were able to come in there off
the buy beat them against your team in their seven
game winning streak and it did not happen.
Speaker 6 (11:04):
That's vecans.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
Don't give away three and have points for a team
that's won seven games. They looked at the at the
at the the Broncos. Broncos just said, look out the
struggle offensively and they are okay, team man that defense
and it's about making plays. I keep telling you all
the time, it's not always about style. Points are piling
up stats and numbers. It's just about winning. And that's
(11:29):
what they did.
Speaker 4 (11:30):
Give them credit. They it's it's unusual.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
Makes it weird because the Broncos are sean Payton team
and you expected to be the opposite defense Cools, all right,
you know, but the defense in this case is the opposite.
Their defense is spectacular, uh and they make just enough plays,
whether it be through the run or obviously through bow knicks.
But if you look at the chief schedule, that coach
game is gonna be tough. Whether they won last night
or yesterday or not, that's a tough game, coach. And
(11:53):
maybe it's at home for the Chiefs, so maybe they
feel it's winning their coach. You know, they're feeling like,
all right, it's a big game for.
Speaker 4 (11:59):
Us to.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Established themselves the coach a little and the Cowboys will
see what happens tonight. But you know you're gonna have
to beat them offensively. You know, they're gonna try to
score some points. Texans are gonna be ugly. That's gonna
be an ugly mucket up. It's gonna be very similar
to the Broncos to me, like both teams defensively playing good,
a couple of turnovers and then it Chargers and then okay,
there'll be the Titans. But then right back at the Broncos.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
You know, it's crazy you said that the Titans actually
have Like, don't they have a better record?
Speaker 4 (12:29):
Or they five and five?
Speaker 7 (12:30):
Two?
Speaker 4 (12:31):
The Titans? What are they?
Speaker 8 (12:32):
No?
Speaker 4 (12:32):
The Titans are? Who am I thinking of what Titans?
Youre talking about? Youmber? Youre talking about Remember the Titans.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
I thought that they won, they've won games? Play what's
the record?
Speaker 1 (12:41):
Now?
Speaker 3 (12:41):
I thought they were you're thinking of the Texans.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
I am I thinking of the five and five? Okay,
they're five and five.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
I'm remember I thought he was talking about the Denzel
Washington Titans. I'm like, Texas Texans. That's why I said
that's gonna be ugly.
Speaker 4 (12:57):
You know what.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
That'll be like a tough matchup between the Texans. Texans
are one of the teams. What's the Panthers record? Five
and five?
Speaker 4 (13:02):
They've won? Yeah, that's why that's why I was thinking
of the Pans six and five?
Speaker 1 (13:08):
Okay, all right with the Panthers, I was thinking I
knew it was one of those team, one.
Speaker 4 (13:11):
Of those lights.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
But I knew like I was like one of these
bad team historically, you know, bad teams I.
Speaker 6 (13:17):
Talked to you wanted to add something, Well, I just
got some numbers for you.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
Guys.
Speaker 5 (13:20):
You've been this whole what fourteen minutes I'm talking about
the Chiefs and the The emphasis has been, Hey, they're
just not winning these games. They're not closing the games.
This is supposed to be what they do historically, especially
last season. The Athletic published the whole piece about it.
Through the first ten games this year versus last year,
the Chiefs averaging more points per game, giving up less
(13:41):
points per game, have a wider point differential in a
positive way. E p A is better offensively, defensive EPA
better defensively.
Speaker 4 (13:51):
Turnover margin.
Speaker 5 (13:52):
They were minus five this time last year, they're plus
three this time this year. The difference is one score games.
They were undefeated, they're nine to one this year.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
They lose them all. They're five and five, So would
they be They'd be what ten and zero if they
would have won those ones. By every metric, they are
better this year than they were.
Speaker 3 (14:09):
Just crazy, I mean, you're the show clearly offensively they're better.
That's not even what they're very very hard to watch it.
Speaker 1 (14:16):
Yeah, but but but what plays are you giving up?
And I just gave you three? You know what I mean?
That turn the games around? And with three, there's three
right there. And that's what I would not have hung
my hat on. Would be mishaps from Patrick or just
a team in general losing and making bad play Travis
Kelsey's fumbled or not running into your teammate or just
(14:37):
little players that you'd be all right, a team might
beat them, they're not gonna go undefeated, but not shooting
themselves in the foot. And they become cheddar Bob shooting
themselves in the leg lately, which is uncommon for this team.
Now they're in a position where what max two more games,
they can lose max and that might be pushing them.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
And just to give the full contact. What was going
on with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Speaker 5 (14:58):
Historically, you get the ball, four minutes five is lefting
the game. Patrick Mahomes is going to do some game
winning field game with.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
Touches on whatever.
Speaker 5 (15:04):
Yesterday, four minutes left chance to lead a game winning drive.
They didn't gain a single.
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Yard, which is crazy. That's crazy three and out punt,
never got the ball back.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Now they put themselves in a position rop again they
win that one. Okay, we got a you know, nice
little cushion. They're in a position where now max twice
they lose if they and they might.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
To your earlier port Roger, it might be six. The
other teams makes it even tougher.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
What what's the what's the bigger call for me that
I said the Chiefs would make the playoffs or the
Lions like which I.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
Think think the Lions that the Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
But I'm just saying three season for me to go
on the limb on to a team that are perennial
going to.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
The playoffs the last few years is what I'm saying.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
Probably the Chiefs because they dominated the decade.
Speaker 3 (15:53):
That's that's who they are. The Lions might go lying
and you be like, all right, it's the chief.
Speaker 5 (15:58):
And you could have said coming in, like how you
did that division? The NFC North is, if not the
best division, it's one of the best divisions.
Speaker 3 (16:05):
I don't like the Bears either, rob you, they get
them my nerves like that. Either they're not that good,
but they keep winning, which is you know which is
that's what the teams I meant to talk to my
jokeing have time.
Speaker 4 (16:13):
You know I love and love we.
Speaker 3 (16:15):
Know you love by blah by by you McDonald's over
here right anyway. By point there's teams that are like
eight two and nine, the Eagles, the Broncos, the Bears,
handful of teams.
Speaker 4 (16:23):
I'm like, I just still don't buy them.
Speaker 1 (16:25):
But they're winning, all right, eight seven, seven ninety nine
on Fox eight seven seven nine nine six sixty three
sixty nine.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
You know you could give me love and say, Rob
you told us so. No, I'm saying it ain't over yet.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
Do you still believe in the Chiefs and will they
make the playoffs this season or not?
Speaker 4 (16:42):
Where are you? What are you saying?
Speaker 9 (16:44):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (16:46):
Where are you? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (16:47):
Yeah, yeah, no, I want you yes, yeah, confidently yeah,
rob G. Yes to they Chiefs make the playoffs? Yes
or no? Rob G, Chiefs make the playoff. I want
you on the.
Speaker 4 (16:57):
Record, yes or no? No? Okay, yep, you got two
no's in one yet. Yeah? All right.
Speaker 1 (17:02):

He is?
Speaker 4 (19:52):
What's up?
Speaker 8 (19:52):
My man?
Speaker 10 (19:53):
Hey? Right here, brother, right here? Hey listen. I don't
think they're gonna make it this year. They don't care
the same they don't. It's like the same fear that
it used to. Man, it's just not the same team.
Patrick is not as he's aggressive, but he's not as
precise as he used to be. They don't have a
run game, and the defense is just not. They're not
consistent enough. They don't get enough penetration. I don't know.
(20:15):
They don't see it, man, I don't see it.
Speaker 4 (20:16):
That's I mean.
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Listen, they're five and five. They haven't beaten good teams.
So you're not crazy, You're not wrong. A Hey, Thomas,
can you do us.
Speaker 4 (20:22):
A favorite real quick?
Speaker 8 (20:24):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (20:24):

All right, Alex are you ready? You're recording? So what
would you do it? Dude?
Speaker 1 (20:28):
We want you your voice. Man, we want you to say, uh,
you're a mean one, mister grinch.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
That's it.

Just give us your best because we're gonna use that
during the holiday season. You're ready, there we go.
Speaker 10 (20:39):
Yeah, I'll take a stay. I bet it. You're a
mean one, mister grinch?
Speaker 4 (20:44):
Are you?
Speaker 10 (20:45):
Kay?
Speaker 4 (20:45):
I stabbed? I said, Man, you better get hired.
Speaker 6 (20:48):
I said, why, very nice?
Speaker 5 (20:49):
You care?
Speaker 4 (20:49):
Everybody make another baseball but they might need you.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
You'll be hearing that all holiday season. Thank you, my man,
appreciating for it. How about Orlando N. L.
Speaker 4 (20:58):
Passo. You're in the couple of Fox Sports. Ready, what's up? Orlando?
Speaker 8 (21:02):
Hey, guys, it galled me to say, but I agree, Rob.
I don't think they're gonna make the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
The Chiefs, and I'm also gonna go I'm gonna breaking
it down for you.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
A minute. We could we could get.
Speaker 1 (21:18):
Us Wally. Yeah, let's see if we can get Marcellus.
Can he jump talk about it? I'm gonna break it
down for you, all right, come on.
Speaker 4 (21:26):
The funniest think you ever did?
Speaker 8 (21:29):
I think? I dare I say, Mahomes looks like he's pressing,
like he's just doing all he can and messing up
a big turnover in the red.
Speaker 6 (21:37):
Zone, that huge huge, Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
Yes.
Speaker 8 (21:43):
Anyways, it shout out to Roggie and then because you know,
tonight it's for us, the Browns, not the people from Cleveland.
But it's the Kettles versus Patrolos today. So heads up Roggie.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Okay, all right, well Roggie looking like that he not
brown enough right now?
Speaker 4 (21:57):
You don't know what you're buy it? Well, hey, Roderie, Roger,
do you need to do a lingo to Rob Orlando.
Speaker 3 (22:08):
He's sitting there like you just you spoke French or
something that Spanish because he ain't know what Mazzi what
he was saying.
Speaker 6 (22:13):
I only heard, but I didn't hear the first part.
And obviously this has to do with the Raiders in the.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
Cowboys, but don't I don't know what's the nickname they
give the Cowboys. Did you say about Cattos that might
think that.
Speaker 11 (22:23):
Was what you might have said about Cattos, which is a.
Speaker 3 (22:25):
Cowboytore Listen, I ain't gonna call Rob g robb g
ain't know he remember you are he lost a black car.
Now you're losing his brown You cardless out here and
he can't calling that no more? Call him Rob gringo.
That's what is that? What the G stands forward and
(22:48):
ge rob So rude, guys.
Speaker 11 (22:54):
The Raiders are trying to get in the end zone.
In fact, Dak Prescott just fumbled the ball and Las
Big it's got control of it. Obviously. Max Crosby was
the reason for that fumble, and then he was just
a great throw.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
He free Max Crosby, by the way, my fellow Eastern
Michigan graduate.
Speaker 9 (23:11):
Yeah, free Max.
Speaker 4 (23:13):
I'm sure he's graduating less school. I'm sure they gave
him an honorary degree. He went, Yeah, an honorary degree.
Speaker 9 (23:21):
Caution.
Speaker 2 (23:22):

Speaker 3 (23:33):
Live and on the way, we got some conversations about
that that incident that happened in South Carolina.
Speaker 4 (23:39):
We got to talk about that. We'll do that in
the moment.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
But right now, TJ, who's Masada? I can't say who's Mazda?
But I can't says, TJ?
Speaker 4 (23:48):
What up?
Speaker 2 (23:48):
Bro?
Speaker 4 (23:48):
What's happening?
Speaker 8 (23:50):
What's up feeling?
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Hey? Man?
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Hey, we got to get a couple of things. Definitely,
we want to chop it up with you. We were
just talking about the Chiefs before the season. I had
them not making the playoffs. What's your gauge on them?
They don't win those games. They used to win all
the close games, Patrick Mahomes at the end, you give
them the ball with three four minutes, you losing those
days don't seem to be around anymore. What's your read
(24:15):
on it? Because that was coming off of buy and
that was a big game, TJ.
Speaker 8 (24:21):
The thing I didn't have the Chiefs winning the division.
I just couldn't. I guess I didn't have the guests
to say they would make the playoffs, right, that have
to say that with the Chiefs, But they're just not
they're not good. They're not as good.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
As they used to be.
Speaker 8 (24:36):
Or last year the ball bouncer what they want. They're
living and one score games. I believe this year they're
on fine. Yeah, I to be the playoff team. And
so every team they play, they gonna get the best
shot at every team they played, and they're just not
making the right plays at the right time. Like that
pick that Mahomes doing the red zone when he at
(25:00):
the back going into the end zone and the corner
pulled off. That was like did he really make that throw?
Speaker 4 (25:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (25:07):
And that was a ten point swing, a huge swing.
Speaker 8 (25:10):
And think about this, they're five and five. They played
the coach who are really good next, and then they
played the Lonely Cowboys and then they played the Texans
with CJ. Strout with a great defense. They lose those
two games. They lose to the Coats, they lose to
the Texans. They might not make it because after the Texans,
(25:32):
they played the Chargers.
Speaker 4 (25:33):
Right that they Broncos again, right yeah yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 8 (25:38):
And so Robins, I will say this, that was a
great call by you because the percentage and the prospects
of them making the playoffs ain't looking good. Right now.
Speaker 3 (25:48):
It's not they we were talking about earlier. I said
maybe two two losses, that's max they probably can and
that might even be pushing it.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
TJ.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
I want to go to another game that happened last night,
which was the Eagles beating the Lion. I wanted we
were talking about it, the Keita beating. Jack Goffer is
out there beyond. It's pressure. He can't scramble, he can't
get out of it like all these other quarterbacks.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
Do you get after him? He's right on it. It's
a whole different game plan.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
Was that just a great defense that they went against,
because the last two games they lost were against some
of the best defense in the league in the Vikings
and the Eagles. Is that sustainable for other teams to
get at them like that or is it just those
were just two great teams.
Speaker 8 (26:25):
Oh? No, it's the great teams because if it was
that easy, everybody would pressure the Detroit Lions and they
would do absolutely nothing. You pressure him if you want to.
When they start throwing them slip screens to Jamiir Gizz
and you see how he was gashing Eagles. The Eagles
are just good enough to where as long as Jamier
Gibs on score they can still stop you. The Eagles
(26:45):
are so good because the Eagles didn't play well offensively.
Third defense is just so damn good. And it's like
Dan Campbell, your defense was very good.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
Yep, kick, thank you, thank you. Come on, TJ.
Speaker 6 (27:01):
You don't have to be a football coach for that.
You know you're in a tight.
Speaker 8 (27:04):
Game, right it went over five?
Speaker 10 (27:07):
I believe on four it was over.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
Followed what do you ask him?
Speaker 3 (27:10):
Let me ask you if you're on the team, you're receiver,
your Pro Bowl, or you're doing your thing. You're saying
I'm say anything.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
Do you yeah? Or do you love that he trusts you?
Which which one is it? Man?
Speaker 8 (27:20):
Listen all this love I trust my teammates or my
offense or score? Listen, man, I'm trying to win the game.
Speaker 4 (27:26):
Right.
Speaker 8 (27:27):
If I feel like I can't say nothing to the
head coach, which on the majority of all my teams
I could have said something to them, I probably would
have on TJ. And if I can't, I'm going to
the quarterback, like hey, bro to coach to kick the
field goal?
Speaker 4 (27:41):
Right points? Get these points on there? Uh, let's go here.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
And you know I'm tired of hearing like the Browns
want to win. They got a coach in the GM.
Speaker 4 (27:52):
Come on with the they set up Chaudor to fail.
Speaker 1 (27:56):
They don't want him to play, or they don't want
him to succeed. Whatever, how come he just can't should
or had a bad game. He'd be completed his first
two and then was two for fourteen, had a pick,
hold on to the ball too long.
Speaker 6 (28:09):
I mean, what you watch. I'm not saying that one
game makes you or breaks you. But he didn't look
good in that game.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
Why can't it just be he didn't play well in
his first game in the NFL, rather than he don't
get no snaps and they didn't they didn't know its
cadence and.
Speaker 6 (28:26):
They didn't every excuse other.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
Than he didn't play well. Is it okay to say
he didn't play well.
Speaker 8 (28:31):
I believe anybody that watched that game and they're honest,
will say he did not play well.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
That's it. That's it.
Speaker 8 (28:37):
Know he didn't play well. But there's always a butt
to this rod. You know how hard it is to
go in the game when you've never really thrown to
any of these guys and be effective, let alone you're
a rookie and this is the first time you've ever
(28:57):
played in the National Football League in a regular season game.
That's hard. Look at Kirk Cousins, he's a veteran. He
got into the game. They had to lead what he
do and so it's not easy whether you're a vet
or a rookie. But when you're a rookie and you
have yet to play in the National Football League in
a regular season game and you get thrust into that
(29:19):
position against a team that's fighting for.
Speaker 6 (29:22):
Their life, there was his moment, though. The moment was
there to win that game. At the end.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
I'm just saying it.
Speaker 8 (29:29):
Was you're a rookie. You're a rookie, and I'm gonna
tell you this. People act like that's that. Cadence don't matter, man,
you you got you got some quarterbacks. I mean, so
cadence is color number, color number set us so green eighty,
green eighty to that, that's one, green eighty green eighty.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
To that, that's two.
Speaker 8 (29:49):
Or you may just get first down green and they
stepped the ball. Every quarterback cadence is different, you know,
law it takes time to get used to that. Now,
that's no excuse he didn't play well, but when you're
not getting any reps, it doesn't make it any easier
to play.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
Well, I get the reps thing, but maybe they've watched him.
And here's the thing that that that we have to
look at two rookie quarterbacks, right, and if you've picked
Dart right, then you want to get him as many
reps as possible because you're trying. Abriel you mean, I mean, yeah, Gabriel,
I'm sorry, Dylan, Gabriel. You get my point, right, So
(30:29):
you want you've picked him, so you need to get
him as much as you can. So that's the reason.
Speaker 6 (30:36):
Does that not make say.
Speaker 8 (30:37):
I played a long time, every team I've been on,
the backup is the backup has always got reps with
the starters. In practice, every team I've ever been on,
if we go seven on seven and there's twelve plays,
the backup is gonna get two to four reps, maybe
maybe two or three. You go team, the backup is
going to get two to three reps. Seven is going
(31:00):
to get reps with the starters here one maybe one
or two reps with the starters.
Speaker 1 (31:05):
Okay, let me ask you this real quick, and we
got to run. Say he got some reps and he
still played that game. What would be the conversation today
if he if he got the reps and they heard
his you wanted a few said he didn't play well,
but you talk to other people.
Speaker 8 (31:19):
It's everybody's reps are no reps. They still lost?
Speaker 3 (31:22):
Okay, right, all right, TJ. Yes, go ahead, Bro, I
was gonna say, we're up against it.
Speaker 10 (31:28):
Man.
Speaker 4 (31:28):
We appreciate.
Speaker 3 (31:29):
I appreciate me and him gonna argue about that at
the top of the next hour too, So don't worry
about it.
Speaker 4 (31:32):
We'll argue about it.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
Uh you you just may have my argument, so's coming up.
Speaker 4 (31:36):
It's just a bit TJ. I appreciate you, bro, Thank you,
no doubt. All right.
Speaker 3 (31:41):
On the way, we got to talk about what happened
if you, of course saw what happened in South Carolina
in the tunnel of that game with the police officer.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
We'll do that next. It's theat couple of Fox Sports Radio.

shot out to TJ. Who's Mazzata who just joined us?
You can let them roots and at work you probably
have Journey playing right now. Yeah, the ain'ting wrong a
little Journey. Don't dispect Journey like, oh step believe that.
Don't disrespect Journey like that's a banger. It is, no
shout out to h DJ Ali Alex on the ones
(32:22):
and twos.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
All right.
Speaker 3 (32:23):
So, for over forty years, Tirereck has been helping customers
find the right tires for how what where they drive
ship fast and freeback by free World has a protection
with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation tire reck
dot com. It is the way tire buying should be.
And Rob g Man, something happened in college football. I
got a lot of people going. And it ain't just
(32:43):
what happened on the field.
Speaker 5 (32:45):
Oh yeah, big facts in the big game text say
and M South Carolina. A and M comes back from
about twenty seven points down. Big win for them to
stay undefeated. The bigger story though, to come out of
that game. South Carolina receiver Nick Harber catches an eighty
yard touchdown. As he's running down the field, looks like
he might have pulled a hand. We don't know for sure.
So he kind of glides past the end zone into
(33:05):
the tunnel behind the back corner of the end zone,
flanked by two of his teammates. As he's walking back
towards the field, clearly hobbled, he's kind of like limping
a little bit of the way back. A state trooper
who is working security for the game walks towards the
tunnel and kind of chicken wings one of the other players.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
As he's walking back in. The two have a little
exchange back and forth.
Speaker 5 (33:30):
Long story short, that trooper has now been relieved of
his duties with regards to that job. I don't know
if he's off the trooper at all. No, No, he's
not lost his stadium gig anymore. I just you know what,
this reminded me of Rob g at a school event
with his kids. You know, kids who are like that.
(33:57):
That's robbed you. He fits He fits in because him
and the kid are about the same.
Speaker 4 (34:03):
Hid so easy. But Mexicans, ROGERI, you didn't know you
at his joke. You didn't know you smoke? Sorry, Rob, No,
Robberie's gonna say, I'm never gonna share anything with that Yeah,
no more pancakes, no more buns. Ain't sharing nothing with you?
Oh Sisco be here before you don't? Yeah, well that
is that like a warning?
Speaker 5 (34:23):
Or is that.
Speaker 4 (34:26):
San Francisco going be here before you know? Get ready?
You're sharing everything?
Speaker 3 (34:30):
No, but this story was a big con It was. Listen, man,
I'm gonna tell you a couple of things. One, let's
just call it what it is. It was very very odd.
It was very strange, and it seemed very intentional. This
wasn't a bunch of people walking in the time purpose.
He deliberately did it. It was right after the touchdown,
and it was almost as if he's got issues with
them if it did his parlay go wrong, did his
(34:50):
parlay with his parlay not hit or something of that.
And and also if you watch the video, both of
y'all you saw it.
Speaker 4 (34:57):
He went out of it. He was talking to another officer,
so it wasn't like we all go when.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Something happened to he turned around and looked back like
beat on purpose.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
He provoked them, And let's just call it what it way.
I've heard other people playing around with that. He provoked them.
They're not even thinking about him. He's holding his hamstring
one the one who cut the touchdown. His other team
had you a right, bro, Yeah good touchdown, baby. They're
not thinking about anybody. He comes unsolicited. If eight eight
nine players are coming towards you, you usually get out
the way.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Ah, you go through, fellas. No, he wants to pull
the player's tunnel. That's how during a game, that's the
players tunnels. So you should be to the side anyway
where you were.
Speaker 3 (35:35):
That made you need to all of a sudden blow
through it, right, Why would you go through the center
of the players.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
That's just not where you as Like the play round.
We've been there, like writers or whatever. You know that
to every all know that right security, everybody, you part
to the side, let the players walk through.
Speaker 3 (35:51):
It happens every single game you name the sport, I
don't care if it's high school basketball. And all of
a sudden for him to blow through push them, and
you know you're wrong when you immediately turned like he
immediately like huh what you know? He turned because he
was waiting on something. And what I didn't like him
him to swing on him and he thought he was
gonna be like a brawler. And what I didn't like
about this rob was. This was in a place with
(36:13):
eighty thousand cameras, you know, big types of big college
football game. What if this were at they were in there,
their their South Carolina sweats, hanging out at Chipotle and
he was upset about something and did that. Now, what
if their initial reaction isn't like well it's what if
it's pushed back, like hey man, what you just this for?
Now they can get in trouble, get himed up, get beat.
You never know what happens.
Speaker 4 (36:31):
And it would have been cameras though his cameras everywhere.
Thank god.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
Now, yeah, well we're not liking an eight thousand you
know stadium and it's a game, we're watching it.
Speaker 4 (36:38):
But I won't give them credit like form that was.
That was a very I was very impressive.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
It was no, it was no like we need to investigate,
see what happened. We got the video, what are you doing?
Speaker 4 (36:50):
Come on home.
Speaker 6 (36:51):
You don't need to be there, that's all. They didn't say, Okay,
you can never be a cop or your fire just
this out of line and you you don't need to
be there.
Speaker 4 (36:59):
Let's let's take a lighting gig, you know what I mean,
an extra game. You want it as cool as fun.
I get to be a part of the games.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
You don't need to be here if this is how
you're acting, because again, what the other things we forget
the time you and you talked about this every year
the last handful of years, Big time South Carolina, South Carolina,
now South Carolina.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
What am I trying to say? Clemson Clemson in South Carolina?
Speaker 3 (37:23):
I was trying to say, Clemson comes the spectrum and
they want to get into the sports world and the
and the TV and radio, so they come.
Speaker 4 (37:29):
And to hang out with us for a while.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
And what doll I always tell you, Man, you forget, man,
these dudes are kids by eighteen nineteen, they're six three,
two fifty, big numbers. They're kids, right, And to do
that to some kids men blow through them? And then
what you want to do hood turn around like they
That was what was so disappointing.
Speaker 4 (37:44):
Man.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
These are kids who were just not even thinking about you.
They're not provoking anything. They're playing a football game. You
just scored a touch not thinking about that guy exist
on earth and you blow through them. And now they's
take it away from the touchdown. The conversation is on
you and your dumb moment. I don't like it, but
kudos to the school for handling Noah that they did
it the right way and they said go home, dude.
Speaker 4 (38:04):
I have seen Bro relax. Relax,
