it all. Top let boat. This is Fox Sports Radios
Countdown to Kickoff, presented by bet MGF. Now we're live
from your tail game. Here's Brian no h Year NFL
(00:43):
Better and Jeff Schwartz at sports Handicapper from crack wins
dot com. Bill Crack, Crackamburger, what's going on? Everybody? Welcome
in here, Happy Sunday, Happy Championship Sunday. As we get
you all set for nine R's Eagles, Bangals, Chiefs. Who
(01:03):
will it be? Oh, We've got just a ton of
notes and a ton of prop bets. I would imagine
as well. This is like Crack's Christmas over here. Championship Sunday.
Are you mr under this weekend as well? Crack? You've
been mr under throughout the playoffs so far. Yeah, good morning, guys. Yes,
I'm going to be mr on on under on a
(01:26):
you know a lot of things here. I actually already
I'll start right out with telling you I lean under
in both games. So I think we're gonna have some
defensive grind games here. Really. I can't remember another championship
weekend though, when we have two games so evenly matched
that out here in Vegas they have these, um, they
(01:46):
have these. They you could put all four. They have
all four game matchups, which put our potential matchups for
the Super Bowl. I can't believe it. All four pick them?
So all four potential matchups are let's literally pick them
minus one ten that is in possible. I don't know.
I think we'll ever get that again. All four games
pick them? Really cool, So we have some really good
games on tap here, And yeah, I'm probably gonna grind
(02:08):
out on some unders. What about you guys, You guys,
uh have you guys? Have you guys either one of
you guys played anything earlier in the week already? As
far as props go, I know some sides have been
running around here, but as far as props goes, you
guys really played anything? I don't know. I mean, as
a Chiefs fan, guys, I just you know, I hope
they show up today because you know, the Bengals, they
(02:28):
own the Chiefs, and I just don't know if the
Chiefs can win this game. You know, just you know,
they just own the Chiefs, Like, why why show up today?
It's it's it's four gone conclusion. Guys. My home's ankle
a little beat up, and Kelsey with the back spasms,
and you know they're the one seed. But I just
you know, they're just they're not gonna do this today.
It's just there's there's no chance. You know, the burrowhead
burn you know, Burrow owns Arrowhead Stadiums. We played there
(02:50):
once though, but he owns Arrowhead Stadium. And Brian, I'm
just worried the Chiefs fan. I don't think the Chiefs
can do this today. I don't know why. I don't
know why. Mean early on this week too, there was
any on the Bengals to oh my god, guys, the
public was on the Bengals. I mean, oh, everyone's picking
the Bengals today. Brian, I am I'm worried the Chiefs fan.
I don't know, man, I don't know where this is
(03:11):
coming from today. I just it needs you to explain
the passive aggressiveness today, Jeff, you're taking such exception with
certain people expecting a Bengals win. Where is this coming from?
Because this is it's so funny. The Chiefs are Okay,
let's be The Chiefs are fourteen and three this season.
They have lost three games by a total of ten
(03:32):
total points. Ten total points, their number one in the NFL,
and every offensive category imaginable except third down conversion with
their second by like one percent. Blow Buffalo like they
are a good football team, and we're acting like the
Bengals have blown them out in three straight games. The
Chiefs have been not YouTube everyone else is that we
were talking about this game. The Bengals have been the Chiefs, yes,
(03:55):
three straight times. The Chiefs have had a fourth quarter
win expectancy of seventy five percent in all three of
the games. They have been close. They haven't finished the games.
They will finish better today, but people are talking about
this game like it's a foregone conclusion in the Kansas
City is not gonna win this game because they've lost
three in a row. And that's a very similar way
(04:16):
to talk about the matchup today. Because there's so much
get into but the idea that because they lost three
in a row, therefore they're gonna lose today. For some reason,
these games have been close to the field goal games.
There's a reason that there are two good football teams
playing each other. And it just bothered me the way
this games been talking. I've been quiet a wek I
have said nothing on Twitter. I've been I've been leaving
(04:36):
Bagels fans trip away the Bengals. I mean since any mayor,
oh boy, body that I hope they win for your sake,
because you might get impeached if they if they lose,
if you might getting beached. So I'm excited for the
games today. Crack. I the the wagers I have made
so far, I feel very comfortable in the Eagles winning
today and covering. I have made that wager. I have
(04:58):
made Burrow over seven team half rushing yards. I think
Burrow rushes for yards today. If you look at Kansas
City and we'll go over a ton of props. I
feel good about this when the history of the way
Kansas City plays defense in a lot of these games,
I feel good about those two so far. Um unders
are probably the way to go today. It's just so
hard with a lot of these UM chiefs props. I
(05:18):
say this a lot on our text threads and on
the show, like you just don't know in Kansas City
who's gonna step up each week because they're oftens is
so diverse. So those are ones I feel most comfortable
with so far UM this week. And I did like
the under Kansas City in Cincinnati, but it opened like
fifty one and waited all the way to forty six,
and now it's at eight, so it's better. Now. It's
probably a bad time to say I'm on the Bengals today.
(05:39):
I know you are. We talked about all week, so
it's probably bad time. We'll get to the a f
C game here momentarily, let's start with the NFC games.
We've got the Niners against the Eagles, and simple question,
because this is gonna be a heavyweight title fight, it
just feels like a heavyweight prize fight, huge matchup in
the trenches. Which team putch pressure on the other UH
(06:02):
quarterback and who limits the other team's running game. It's
gonna be big in the trenches looking forward to this.
But a simple question is there's been so much UM
talk and so much focus on Jalen Hurts injury, And
I'm just curious if you guys think going in which
is the bigger injury concern. Is it Jalen Hurts in
(06:23):
the sprain shoulder or is it forty Niners running back
Christian McCaffrey who's got this calf injury. It's a calf
contusion and he only had ten carries for thirty five yards.
He did have a touchdown against the Cowboys last week,
but he was working that calf out. And you just
think about the ripple effect. If Christian McCaffrey is compromised,
(06:43):
if the running game isn't working as well as it
typically has for the forty Niners, then you're asking Brock Purty,
your rookie quarterback, to do more against the number one
past defense in the league. So which do you think
is a bigger injury concern? Is it Hurts or see him.
I'm actually more concerned about Christian McCaffrey in this game
because I think there's a huge ripple effect if he's
(07:05):
not right. It's absolutely McCaffrey. Um, you know, a contusion
is a bruise. That's a fancy word for a bruce.
And I don't know if you guys have ever had,
you know they go by Charlie horse as well, like
a Charlie horse in your thigh. Those hurts like they
take a while to heal, and there's no like real
rehab to do for them. If you have a tight calf,
(07:27):
a tight quad, you just hope that they're ready to
go on game day, right, and they could. You can
typen up any point if he gets hit on the
calf and that spot during the game to tien up
right away. And and to me, this is the reason why.
And you're exactly right, like hurts we saw last weekend. Yeah,
the Giants aren't great, Nighters are better, but he's close
to a percent. And the thing that that would hurt
him most with his shoulder is probably running the ball
(07:49):
right where he tries to avoid taking hits in the
run game. Hey, you can throw the ball fine, that's
not a problem. The difference in this game them one difference.
It's the quarterbacks, right. The Eagles offense is is is
Jalen Hurts right like he is the offense they make
it around him, where brock Purty is just with the
Niners offense right, they run it with brock Purty at quarterback.
(08:12):
So now, if Christian McCaffrey can't go as well we
saw last weekend, when the offense doesn't kind of hit
their marks on the first and second down, brock Purty
becomes the offense. That's not what you want, right. The
office does not function as well when he's your number
one option. So if McCaffrey can't go, yeah, they have
a larger missial they have with depots and injury report too, right,
So like it's just like he becomes this kind of
(08:32):
domino effect where party becomes your guy, and that to me,
crack becomes a problem because if this turns into a
party game, the Eagles will win this game by more
than that two and a half. Well you know, um,
this game just went the three. By the way at
the Key sports books here in Las Vegas, Yeah, we
(08:52):
have we have two sports books really that control the
market in the world that usually everyone goes by, and
they're now both three Dog fifteen and Dog twenty. So
I expect this game a lot of Philadelphia money coming
in game time. It might be a lot of Square money.
Even I'll tell you, I really couldn't find no one
on Sam Frand this week everyone is on Philadelphia. I'm sure, Um,
(09:14):
you know the bookmakers will be telling us that too. Um.
You know, I don't know if I sent you guys
on our text chain earlier in the week we went under,
and I say, wait, you know me and my partner
that that does props all over town. Um, we went
under sixty and a half on McCaffrey, not not thinking
he was gonna be you know, we think he's gonna
bang up me a little a little bit unhealthy. And
(09:35):
then we actually did something I rarely ever do. I
actually got off. I found a fifty seven and I
got off. Um, not not to middle it because it's
not worth middling. Um, you know that's that that low
of yardage. But the reports and himself two days ago
said you know he's ready to go. I mean, of
course they're always gonna say that. They don't want to
let any weakness at the end of the opponent the
(09:57):
only weakness. But uh, from the reports. I even guy
from some inside beat writers which always tell the truth
about how these guys look throwing warm up, said he
looked fine. So we actually got off. That interesting to see.
I like one thing you said there, Jeff, you said
all it takes is one little hit to that area
and nothing saying he's done. But that can you know,
go right back into the situation it was, Well, he'll
(10:19):
be on the sidelines for many series, if not the
whole game. That's the same feeling I have about my homes,
by the way, but all it takes is one hit.
But this game just went the three guys. So I
wanted to let you guys know that solid free and
and you know, just like I said, everyone that I've
met through the casinos, walking around, people that are texting
me d M, Twitter, I'm trying to I'm trying to
(10:41):
find someone on San fran all right, it's it's here's
why it's to me. It's not that complicated, right, Brought
pretty is a great story. He's still a rookie. He's
in his eighth start. Is eighth start. I's also one
say that well, Jale Hurts is in the same spot too. Really,
he's in his second year. Are starting. He played a
playoff game last year, He played in a playoff game
(11:03):
this year. He actually played in the road. Last year
didn't play as well. He played better yet last weeks
and now the Giants are not good. But but this
is something that we that we often make the mistake of.
And I mentioned this. They played Saturday Night last week, right,
so I talked about that on Sunday. Is that good
teams should blow bad teams like that is something that
should happen. We should not discount that performance because the
(11:25):
Giants are bad. Well, the Eagles blew them out. They
should do that because they're a good football team. Brock
Purty is this is eight start. He's played five of
those seven previous starts at home. The last start he
played on the road that actually mattered was in Seattle.
That was two months ago. The only put up twenty
one points. It was one of the worst offensive performances.
They're in the Lake. I don't know. I don't know, Crack.
(11:45):
If you've been to the link before, I don't If
you have, I played in the league. I put a
Monday football game in the Lake. It is loud, it's raw,
it's hard to play there. It's like it's Party has
never been here before, guys. And because of like, it's
just you have a veteran team with Hurts who has
been here, has played a lot of football, play a
(12:07):
lot more than than Party has that's why crack, that's
why everyone's on the Eagles. You take the better quarterback
in this game every single time. You know, it's funny.
It's just funny where uh I think we in the
NFL we look at young quarterbacks and say, oh, they're
both young, so it's relatively the same as far as
(12:27):
games played or games started. And you guys are both right,
it's not the same with Jalen Hurts or brock Pertie.
You've got Jalen Hurts with his two playoffs starts. He
started thirty six games. Thirty six compared to what will
be the eighth one for Brock Purty. That's a huge difference.
I think if you compare it to college, we wouldn't
make the same mistake in college. We wouldn't say, oh, well,
(12:51):
you know the junior quarterback who's got thirty someome start.
It's it's about the same thing as the freshman guy
who's starting his eighth game. But we do that in
the NFL all the time. We shouldn't do that because
it is much different in terms of Jalen Hurt's NFL experience.
But you guys are right, that mistake has made all
the time. What I was talking about UM early in
the whole season. I've been saying that I've been you know,
(13:12):
I fly into Philadelphia a lot. I have a lot
of friends in South Philly. But by the way, who's
not from South Philly? I mean people from Philadelphia all time.
No one ever tells me they're from like North Philly
or Central Philly. They're all from everyone's from South Philly anyway,
and they walk with a little you know, a little
little um, you know, a little Italian um walk. If
I could say that, you know, I guess I could
say that I'm half Italian um. But so anyway, I
(13:34):
have a lot of friends in Philadelphia, a lot of
friends in South Philly. And you know what, it's the
toughest place to play. Probably, like Jeff said, Um, and
I didn't even know you played there. I mean you
played there in the years, and before those years, they
were throwing snowballs at sand as we all know this.
This fan base is unbelievable. I can't believe someone last
there was some people last week I've seen in the
(13:55):
stands with Giants Jerseys. I would have bet my bank
roll no one would show up in a Giant stay
Um it's just even today. Is there gonna be a
San fran Jersey. I guess there will. But you know what,
if someone's flying over from the West Coast, you better
know what it's like to play football in the Link
and in South Philly, because boy, they're a tough fan
base and they will they give you nothing. They give
(14:16):
you nothing. So um, this is gonna be a really
fun day for people in South Philly. Again. Here we
are five hours before the game. Right now, as we speak,
ten o'clock. My guys text me they're they're they're out
in the parking lot and they're they're ten o'clock in
the morning. They're drinking already. What's gonna happen in five
hours from now? Good? This is such a gretty tough crowd.
(14:38):
Uh what I want to be there though, you know,
as I get older, I just want to watch games
from my house, even for free. I'd rather just watch
games from the house. A new users download the bet
MGM app today and use code countdown for a special offer.
That's code countdown in the bet MGM app. We're often running.
We got Bill Crackenburger, who'd rather watch at home sports
(14:59):
handycapit crack wins dot Com rather count his money at
home instead of at the link. I understand it, I
get it. Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran, highly offended
that anyone would suggest that the Bengals would win today,
you know, and we'll dive into that matchup as we
go along here in the three hours. I'm Brian though.
Coming up next, maybe the worst sign possible if you're
(15:19):
pulling for the Chiefs today. We'll have some details on that.
It is Fox Sports Radio's Countdown to Kickoff presented by
bet MGM. Welcome to the biggest tailgate party in the nation.
You're locked into Fox Sports Radio's Countdown to Kickoff touchdown
and it's presented by Matt MGM, the kick of sports
(15:41):
boots once again. Here's Brian no h year NFL veteran,
Jeff Schwartz and sports handicapper from crack wins dot Com
Bill Crack Crackum Burger. We're just about four hours and
thirty five minutes until kickoff. It is Fox Sports Radio's
Countdown to kick Off, presented by Bet MGM. A every Thursday,
(16:03):
be sure to check out our Countdown to Kickoff presented
by bet MGM original podcast featuring Yours Truly, also Jared
Smith and Bill Krakenburger. We give our texts on all
the key lines to get you set for the weekend.
In betting playoffs, man gotta get set for it. Props, sides, totals.
That's every Thursday. Just searched Fox Sports Radio wherever you
(16:24):
get your podcasts. Okay, so a bad sign if you're
pulling for the Chiefs today. The rapper Drake bet on
the Chiefs. Not a good sign. So he put one
point one million dollars on the Chiefs to beat the Bengals.
He would win a little over two million dollars. So
I think it was he puts a bitcoin down little
(16:47):
be next to that. Um. I tweeted that out. A
bunch of Chiefs fans said he's on a hot streak lately,
so good to know. Um. If Matrick's Mac weighs in
the Bengals here, I feel better. So because not just
Mats lost like seven in a row, so I feel
like we're on the wa We can't each other out
here for these uh, for these wagers. No, look, everyone's
waging the games crack. Can you talk a little bit
(17:07):
about this it's very important here. So earlier this week
the line comes out. I think in Vegas the Chiefs
bangles open at what one and a half? Is that
what it was at? You know that because I think
we've short opened it. I think off short opened like
at three, very very briefly, but the lining moved. The
line then moved very quickly to the Bengals, right, but
it didn't go past three. It went to like two
(17:29):
two and a half. The Bengals are favored, and then
it swung back to the Chiefs. Now, everyone had a
collective panic on social media about it, but it didn't
really mean very much. You explain what happened on Monday
and Sunday, I mean on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, with how
the line moved. Please game opened up one of one
of those sports books, one of the newer sports books
to the country, which has a nice market share. Though,
(17:51):
opened up Kansas City minus three right away. Someone snapped
up to Cincinnati. It lasted about two minutes. Then I
went the three dog twenty least and another two minutes
literally and under five minutes the game moved down to
one um one and a half. I should say it
moved down to and and stood there for a while.
And and then the next day I woke up and
it was sitting ATI minus one one and a half
(18:13):
and even went to two and even two and a
half and a couple of books. It was all since
the money, and it was all based on a lot
of it's based on speculation about mahomes unsure enough. As
soon as that comes out. That Wednesday, he was okay
and and uh you know he was taking taking throws
and throwing the ball around, moving around, running a little
bit on his leg. Looked okay, good beat. Reporter Um
(18:35):
said some good things about about him, and uh, even
even my two guys, well I have two guys that
I go by, and uh, these two guys both have
said they don't even know each other, by the way,
so they both said that, Uh, he's actually much healthier
than people think. Even so h with the high ankle
spraining will be taped up. He'll mean maybe juiced up
for the first half. You could tell us more on
(18:57):
that if that wears off and how it does wear off.
So um and I say juice stuff. It's a strong word.
It's illegal. Uh so it's a legal drug. That's that's
that's given to them, and a right, Jeff, that's illegal. Yeah,
it's so. Anyway, then the line soon as the public
scene that they were all over Kansas City, the line
actually swung back and moved two and a half three
(19:17):
points the other way, made Kansas City a solid one,
and then went to one and a half. And now
this morning, as we speak here, I see four two's
on my screen, and I expect both of the home
teams to close favorites today. Of course, Philadelphie, like I
told you earlier, is a pretty solid two and a
half minus a quarter, and now there's three. There's four
threes also on the screen on Philadelphia over over San Francis.
(19:41):
Both teams getting some home love. And you know what,
they both should be favorite in this game. If there
was a healthy Mahomes here, we'd see a solid free there. Also,
well I'm sorry, if it was healthy Mahomes that didn't
what didn't happen on National TV last week, this game
would be free. So uh, there we go. Sorry, broke
(20:01):
what correct? So was this was this movement? Sharp movement earlier?
Because I feel like the the the public, at least
on Twitter, is what I'm going by on this one,
right is you know, just they think every line movement
is sharp. But it feels like this is a bunch
of public people throwing money at the Bengals, and now
we're seeing kind of sharp people making the corrections. Actually
the sharp move was on Kansas City. The sharp the
(20:24):
syndicate group that I know that came on Kansas City.
But a ton of money healthy six figures on Kansas
City and uh that moved it. But they actually got
the word first about Mahomes and sure enough, now all
the public has driven it past the picking point to two.
So now it's a it's a mixture of sharp and
square money. I don't even know this. I'm sure we're
(20:46):
gonna I'm sure the entergyes though. We're we're having Jason
on today, right, Yes, all right, we're gonna see what
he uh, what he has to say. Let's rough him
up a little bit too. There you go. That's the thing,
is it really boils down to what type of performance
are you expecting from the homes to day? That's the question.
What are you expecting from the guy? Me personally, I'm
expecting him to be somewhere between average and good. I'm
(21:07):
not expecting special, because I think it's a bunch of
complete bs, this thought of, oh he's okay. I saw
him jogging in practice. I saw him walk off the
podium without a limp arden key. A linebacker landed on
his ankle, and he was completely compromised one week later.
He's not gonna look like his normal self over here.
(21:28):
And that's the thing is, if you go back to
the Jacksonville game, what you saw in the first half
before the injury, the jump pass where and another play
where he threw to Kelsey for the touchdown a linebackers
draped around his waist didn't even matter. He threw a
touchdown to him like extending plays, the special Mahomes stuff,
I don't think you're gonna see it today. And the
(21:48):
other part of this is, I get all of this
stuff of Mahomes numbers when this, when that when he
was healthy? What's a different ball game today? Is driving
me crazy. As much as Schwartz has ticked off about
all the bank goals, love, I'm ticked off about my
home should be fine. He just had a linebacker land
on his ankle and could barely move last week, but
he should be fine. He walked up the podium. Good, Okay,
(22:10):
so there should be fine. I think is relative to
like him being on his deathbed to playing football, right, like,
he should be fine enough to play football. Okay, um
the question, and you're you're right, at to what point? Now?
We did to see him throw a one footed jump
past MVS to score the final touchdown in the fourth
quarter against JACKSONVA, so we know he can do it
with his one with his one leg. Here here's my
(22:32):
overall kind of summation of his ankle. So well will
he be? No? But I've been around, fortunately, been around
special players in my career and not not like there's
a difference between like the I'll give example Jordan Gross,
he's my mentors and left Hagle for Carolina Panthers, played
like thirteen seasons. He was a five time Pro bowler,
(22:53):
made a couple of pros. Possibly had a very solid
player like ring of honor type of pan first football player,
not a Hall of Famer right like, but like the
most solid, like trustable, dependable. He was my mentor, great,
great dude, great player. But from like him to like
a Pro Bowl offensive, I mean a Hall of Fame
(23:14):
off of the tackle is like another huge jump right,
So like those guys. So when I play with Adrian Peterson,
I played with Eli Manning, I played with Steve Smith
and Julius Peppers. Those are probably the four guys will
be in the Hall of Fame. Jamal Charles had a chance,
but he was he was hurt. He was good enough
to be a Hall of Famer. Okay, those that have
another level of Like Adrian Peterson. The year he rushed
(23:35):
for two thousand yards, I was in Minnesota. He had
a sports herne Okay, he had. He had a lower
abdobald injury. I had the same year he did. I
had immediate surgery to get it fixed. I couldn't play.
He played the last six weeks with the same injury
I had. He didn't practice all week, showed up Sunday
rush for two hundred yards, didn't practice all week, showed
up Sunday rush for twoundre yards. So my point is
these guys are different, They're built differently, they healed differently.
(24:00):
Mahomes is that dude like he's gonna be different than
everyone else with a high ankle spraying. It doesn't mean
he's gonna be a hundred percent today. It doesn't mean
he's gonna be nothing's wrong with him. But my point
is that he's different. He's a different he's different cat
than thirty other quarterbacks, like like even Joe Burrow. If
Joe Burrow had the same injury, I probably wouldn't feel
(24:22):
the same way I do about Mahomes with the ankle
as I do with Joe. It doesn't mean though, right,
But my point is like he's a special type of player,
that he's just different than everyone else's. That's fine, and
I agree with you. He's gonna be a little bit
better than most everybody else with the same injury, but
he's still not gonna be himself. He's still gonna be
(24:42):
lower than himself. I think so. And we saw him
one hop a screen pass to a receiver last week
like that. That's what we've seen, so I don't think
we're gonna see special helps. Think about some of his
jaw dropping plays to play against Denver on the road
this year where he rolls out to the right and
has a little excuse me pass that goes for a touchdown.
(25:05):
Where he rolls out right against Tampa and spins around,
does a little sky hook. Kareem Abdul Jabbar style like
this special stuff. I don't think we're gonna see that today.
I don't think we're gonna see him roll out and
extend plays that can be the difference right there. Guess what, Brian,
we have two hours to talk to this through, Buddy,
because I have so many thoughts on what's gonna happen
(25:26):
in this game You've got. We haven't even talked about
the Eagles and Cowboys and the Eagles and Niners offensive
defensive line play. It's been three half hours on that alone.
I can't wait. We have two games and we have
so much to talk about, so much, and you know what,
We've got a fourth voice here today who's got a
lot to talk about. That would be Isaac Lowan Krawn
on the updates, Ilo, what's going on? Bud? Good morning Falls,
(25:47):
and we begin with an actual Jordan's Gross update. This
is a true story. Jordan Gross used to have his
own show. He was one of us, and it was
entitled this is Gross. That's the absolute truth. This is
Gross was the Jordan Gross Show. NFL media reporting this
morning that the Indianapolis Colts will hold a second interview
(26:08):
with Green Bay Packers Special teams coach Rich Bessaccia for
their head coaching job, while ESPN reports they'll also conduct
a second interview with Eagles offensive coordinator Shane stike in
he asked men, also reporting the Miami Dolphins not expected
to pursue Tom Brady this offseason and that they're committed
to tow a tongue of Iyeloa and tennis. Novak Djokovic
(26:28):
won the Australian Open for the tenth time on Sunday,
tying Ropiel Nadal's record for Grand Slam victories at twenty two.
In the NBA Saturday Night, the Lakers and Celtics were
tied in the final seconds of regulation. Here was Mike
Breen on ABC. James mc chets in the layoff. Mr
(26:49):
Lighter was curious and thought he just fouled and it's
how Alver Tom lebron James so upset. Celtics went on
to win an o t to one. After the game,
the officials confirmed that James was fouled and that they
missed the call. James tweeted quote that one hurt big time.
(27:10):
I don't understand unquote. Lakers head coach Darvin Ham summed
it up best the best player on Earth can't get
a call. It's amazing, amazing. Indeed, Fellas back to you,
Thank you Ilo. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by bet MGM. Thank goodness for that missed call.
I was on the Celtics. When did they think Lebraun
(27:31):
just bricked the point point big lamp? Like they just
like he just like he's he's the best player of
all time. We just missed a layup that was like
they just think he just bricked it, like not even close,
He just like bricked it. Like, yeah, the pressure got
to him. That's what the officials must have thought, right there. Hey,
let's dive into this right here. Follow the money, good money. Alright,
we're following the money with Jason Scott, Bet MGM, VP
(27:54):
of Trading. Good morning to you, Jason. Happy Championship Sunday.
We're always asking about are money. Which of the four
teams is drawing the most sharp action this week? Jason,
It's fair to say it's been a concert then. I
think early in the week the money came to the Bengals,
and then then sort of it switched back and I
(28:14):
think a few of the a few of our more
dialed in Customers Center know that my Homes was on
the improved prior prior to its that training session on Wednesday,
and we saw money pretty much coming back to where
we started the minus one and a half on the
after it got to about plus two. So the other
game has pretty much been one way traffic. We went
(28:37):
up obviously to be we were too small the Eagles.
It's been better two and a half, and to be fair,
it's probably been a two and a half. There are
three had a lot of books since about Tuesday, so
that's been the title of the tape. What would you
have opened Chiefs Bengals if Mahomes had not gone hurt
against Jacksonville. Yeah, I think it's a tricky one because
(29:02):
there's a regency boss there. Two we've we've had good
the um Bengos loot class way. But I think I
think it would have been four and a half. Five. Wow,
that's even more than I thought I thought its three
three and a half um Jason. Both of these games today,
I'm sure that the public and the and the Sharper
guys I like are both playing. Uh, I'm thinking Philadelphia
(29:26):
because if the money is coming all week on Philadelphia
looks like it's a pretty solid three now on a
couple of sports books. Uh, two and a half minus
twenty other ones. Um, but the Cincinnati Kansas City games.
So the Sharps who are on the Cincinnati at the
beginning of the game, at the beginning of the week,
and now you're seeing money on Kansas City. Now I
see some two's popping up on my screen, about four
(29:48):
or five of them. Uh do you think that that's
the that's the way we're gonna go here? By by
kickoff on these games it will continue to be home
team money on Philadelphia and Kansas City? Is at what
you guys think you're you're expecting on getting money that
almost not not you know, not one way, but maybe
sixty of the money going today on Philadelphia Kansas City,
(30:09):
maybe a little bit more even. Yeah, I think you've
summing it up perfectly there, Bill. I think the interesting
thing will be the dam play money in the first
ten minutes of the Kansas City game, where people are
going to make a decision on how good Mahomes looks
on the first drive, perhaps perhaps very early to the
first drive, and how mobile he is, and we're expected
that we're expecting to be in undated one way or
(30:29):
the other, depending on depending on how how mobile he looks. Jason,
is there a particular prop bet that's pretty popular today
in terms of the money it's generating. Uh? Yeah, well again,
there's a lot of in the homes in the my
homes situation, was saying, a lot of a lot of
(30:49):
money around Kelsey. I think if there's a lot of
people thinking, even if he is playing, he probably won't
be throwing deep. Perhaps he can't get too much weight
on that weight on that leg. So I've seen a
fortune and for him, Uh that that's probably the biggest
one there. And the other game is exactly as you expect.
It's all around a j Brown myth and hurts, both
(31:12):
passing and receiving. For forblity, sorry for for liability for
for futures on Super Bowl and Championship. Is there a
team today that you're rooting for to kind of cancel
out some of those those future liabilities. Yeah, we're in it.
We're in a funny situation. And the fact that Big
Loues and for the futures, they are only losing. Its
(31:34):
been only losing probably for two weeks now. The Bills
were a twenty loser is the forty niners. There they're
they're about nearly four million bad for us. But it
looks like in this game we'll win. That we're going
to the way the money's falling, will win that four
will win that four million fairly quickly if the if
the Eagles do lose, So I trying to forget about
(31:54):
futures going to the day book. We're worried about that
next week. You've need be Yeah, that's a good one.
We we talk talk about that earlier in the season,
Jason about you really don't even book to that, Like
in other words, that's four million dollars that you're open
to on San France that will have nothing to do
with your booking on this game or even booking on
the super Bowl game. You'll just book to them to
(32:15):
a number where you think you're gonna go in to
get some action and and uh, you'll just be open
that a four millions. That is that the way you're
also looking at this, this this particular situation. This without
a doubt that I certainly in the back of our
mind and I will included in any sort of super
Bowl super Bowl abilities when you get down to that
game and understand that you know, depending on who they play,
(32:37):
we're gonna have we have that variant, um that the
chase are actually a lot better in the futures for
us than the bens. You guys people, certainly next week
when when it's real only because we won't have you
on again until and probably involved we may have may
have you on next week, but super Bowl Sunday. Will
you guys take the property profits which everyone prof bets,
(33:00):
you know it's one of my specialties. Will you guys
actually open up prop bets? Um, let's say a week
before the game, four days before the game, three days
before the game. That's why the public knows what to
expect now with bet MGM, I think it will be
closed to nine ten days before the way the first week. Wow,
(33:22):
so that's that's a solid ten days of getting in
prop bets for Super Bowl. Wow? Great, thank you. I
mean we'll live up with about seven, but I think
we'll certainly have the first two hundred, which will take
five percent of the money, will be up in in
that first week. Nice. By the way, Jason, what would
be the ideal outcome for you today? With these two games? Um,
(33:45):
we'll be talking about May. I've got to take it
for the for the Eagles one, but m yea for
the books. Yeah, but yeah, if you're probably despite the futures,
I think we're gonna we're gonna're gonna want the forty
nine is and then with the way it's looking at
(34:07):
the moment, we're still gonna want the Chief. Right now,
the money is about sandals, I think they will leaving
up a bit um. And again, I I think with
the way up businesses, the implayer is going to be
huge here today. Like it's usually about thirty of the
money that we have whole, I think today it could
be bigger, certainly in that Chief game. So I think
(34:29):
I think worst case that I A. Praus will be
behinds to come out on one leg and win. Jason,
when did you get three to one? I'm philly very
gloss thought of not one after the dropt Wow, I
got I gotta gotta start following you around town. Jason.
How often do you guys need a a fourteen three
(34:52):
one seed home favor in a conference championship game? That
feels like an odd place to be. I think this
would be the first time. But but obviously obviously if
we hadn't had what happened against chefs, that wouldn't be
the case, certainly with the saying that splight in the
last three conference championships as well, Like I not like
they've just turned up from nobody knows them. Hey Jason, Yeah,
(35:15):
great stuff as always. Man, Hope you enjoyed championships Sunday.
We'll catch you soon. Thank you. There he is Jason Scott,
bet MGM VP of Trading with the thirty three to
one ticket on the Eagles. Wow. Very nicely done by him.
Very nice. All right, We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year

with you, Crack. What do you like today, Bud? I'm
gonna go with the under. In the San Fran Philly game,
they were gonna have a big defensive game here. I
don't think it's gonna be that uh offensive shootout in Philly,
So let's go under. I've seening forty five and a half.
Good number? All right? Um? Are we just doing? We're
(37:01):
just doing? Are we putting uh side in totals? Here?
We just I would have loved to put a prop
ben in, but let's do um. Okay, you're like, how
about how about we do with your chiefs and just
this home a little bit? But you know, you know
(37:23):
what I will do it. How about this Chiefs money line, Well,
we're doing parlay with the chief money life. You're winning
this game. They're winning it. Okay, they're just doing it.
And I've been saving my amo all week. I've been
quiet on Twitter. I've been taking the heat. I've been
listening to the Bengals mayor that the listen all the
fans talk about it. They own Burrow Ahead, been quiet
(37:45):
and laying back. But my Twitter fingers guys, but saving them.
They've been doing some some cal stenics. They are ready
to work about here tonight. The Chiefs win this game,
you better watch out your boys coming hot. You're your
Twitter feel feed is just gonna be a wreck. You
just meet Just meet me, not to pre meet me, Brian,
(38:05):
just go ahead, just premute. It'll just be all passive aggressive.
But I thought, don't. The Bengals are gonna win. It
will not be passive aggressive. It'll be aggressive, and it'll
be I'll be digging a grave for the Bengals dynasty
that never was. You put me in a bad spot
over here, Schwartz, because I'm on the here. I don't
(38:27):
want our parley to be dead. If you take Bengals
plus two points we could both, we could both hit
it right. I don't think we're gonna middle that way.
You know, we need the Chiefs to win by one exactly.
You know, why do you take? Why don't you buy it?
It's Cancony was what right? Now? There a half? I
(38:47):
think right, I think you just buy up to three,
take plus three to parlay. We canna make some fun
with it. I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna go in
a different direction. I'm gonna take the under in the
a f C title game. I like that. I like
it a lot under. I don't expect a shootout here.
And you look at but I think we're glossing over
the Bengals. They still have three defensive three offensive linemen out.
(39:09):
Their starters are out. It didn't show up last week,
and I think we've pretty much forgotten about it. But
on the road against a real pass rush second in
the league in sacks with Chris Jones and Frank Clark,
I don't know if the Banks are gonna score a
ton of points and Mahomes being limited against the really
good defense. I see the under forty eight and a
half here in this one. Um, we're talking about that
(39:31):
offensive line thing we get back because I have I
have some thoughts on this one. Okay, nice, We'll get
to the offensive line stuff. We'll get to common beliefs
sometimes being untrue. Crack will shoehorn in a couple of
prop bets here and there. It's almost like it's like
the dog with a treat at the end of its
(39:53):
nose and he's just waiting. He's waiting for the green
light to go ahead. That's cracking prop bets. We'll discuss
all of that and stuff right around the corner here
on Countdown to kick Off. Fox Sports Radio has the

Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bett m GM Rolling Forward.
You know what, I want to put a smile on
Jeff Schwartz's face. Let's talk offensive line play over here.
Let's get into this simple question. Which offensive line in
(40:34):
the Bengals Chiefs game is in a tougher spot today? Now,
think about this with the Bengals, they're down three starting
offensive Lineman. The Chiefs they're facing a good defense and
Mahomes is he's not. I actually you might think I'm crazy.
I don't know what you're gonna think on this one, Jeff,
(40:54):
but I think it's the Chiefs that are in a
tougher spot. Not to say that the Bengals it's a
cake walk here, Frank Clark, Chris Jones. They can get
after the past or you're on the road, but you've
got Burrow who's unflappable, and you've got more talented receivers
to get the ball to outside receivers were talking about.
So with Mahomes, that offensive line is used to him
(41:15):
moving around really really well. I don't expect that same
type of mobility against the defense that has done really
really well against Kansas City. So I actually think Kansas
City's offensive line is in a tougher spot today. I'm
curious what you think about that. Well, the Chief's offensive
line played really well once he got hurt against Jacksonville
like that, they're they're gonna be fine. Now. The Bengals
(41:38):
have rushed the Chiefs well over the years. The kind
of have this formula down about how they want to
attack and kind of squeeze the pocket while playing zone
against Kansas City. But that's pretty well known. Um what
they want to what they want to be, and I'm
not as concerned about that. I mean, you know, it's
it's to me, it's more about, you know, what rhythm
will the Chief's offense be to help Mahomes get the
(41:59):
ball on time? And how the Bengals disrupt that. But guys,
this is the only time that I've ever felt that
a team missing three starting offensive lineman on the road
might not matter. It seems to not matter for the Bengals,
but the Chiefs can make it matter. Here's how they
make it matter. Okay, in the first game this year
(42:22):
against the Bengals, the Chiefs said, we're not gonna get
beat deep by the Bengals. We're gonna play a soft zone,
which they did. They played a bunch of two high shells,
so either cover four, cover two, We're not gonna get
beat deep, and they didn't. It worked, but they sucked
all over the field that they didn't sack Burrow, They
didn't stop the run, and Burrow was seventeen ninete against
(42:44):
the zone like they didn't. Nothing else worked, but they
didn't get beat deep. What works against a bad offensive
line is having Joe hold the ball for a split
second longer. Right, You need to the rushies to get home.
Well last week and the the Bills didn't do any
of that. The Bills put a soft zone two and
Burrow through the ball fast. Boom boom boom, boom boom.
What you have to do is what the Ravens did
(43:04):
two weeks ago. Get in the wide receiver's faces, press
them for a second, and make the timing off a
little bit. Yeah, you might get beat deep one time,
but you live with the results because it forces Burrow
to hold the ball split second longer and your rush
get home. And guys, the Chiefs past defense has played
better than we think since Trent McDuffie has been the lineup.
(43:25):
They have not allowed a three yard pastor in twelve games.
Twelve games. Has even the lineup like they're a much
better team than when they played the Bengals the first
time round because their rookies have gotten more. They played
four workie defensive backs this season. At least four of
them have got the reps. They paired that down a
little bit now, but the Chiefs have got to be
aggressive on defense to force Burrow to hauld the ball
(43:45):
a little bit longer. So, Brian, I think I think
the answer is if the Chiefs do what they should
on defense, it's the Bengals offensive line. The question is
if the if the Chiefs play that soft zone, then
it reverts back to I think your point where the
Chief's offensive long as it has more pressure to make
sure that they don't, you know, get Mahomes hit in
this game. Let me answer something from a football player's
(44:08):
perspective here. I know this is a little sensitive subject though,
So the Bengals defense knows that he has this bad uh,
this high angle sprain and uh, do you think there's
any extra incentive I don't want to say to go
after him, but uh and and and you know not
only that, you know, not that they want to hurt
the guy, but I mean, you think it's an extra
incentive to sack the quarterback here? Or Uh? Do you
(44:29):
think it's actually the referees maybe even know that and
look at that much? Or am I just looking into
it too much? Well, if you hit a guy low,
you get penalty. So sure, I mean that's I don't
think that's I don't think a lot of times you
go into a game thinking like, I'm gonna hit his ankle.
I think, if you have the opportunity, maybe you do,
Like if you're you know, if if if you're there,
(44:50):
maybe you take a little shot at it. But I
don't know if you like you go in thinking like
I'm gonna hurt him again. Plus, look, there was a
competitive part to wanting to beat someone when they're healthy,
Like you don't want there to be this excuse, Oh
Mahomes wasn't healthy, that's why they lost. If you want
to beat them like, you want to beat them when
they're healthy. Like I said last week, I want the
Chiefs to play the Bengals. I want them to beat
(45:10):
the Bengals to the super Bowl like I want to.
I'm I'm I'm obviously a fan. I'm not playing the game,
but I want my team to beat the team, to
beat them like I want. So. I don't think there's
gonna be an incentive to go out and hurt Pat Mahomes. Um,
I don't think that's the way a lot of players
play the game. Honestly. Um, maybe that's an old school belief,
but a lot of us don't want to hurt anything
like we we we want to be physical. We want
(45:32):
to I want to go out as an office lineman
and and and kick your butt across somebody. Don't want
to hurt you though, like I don't. I don't want
you to lose money. I don't want you to get hurt,
not play um. So I don't think guys are going
out they're trying to hurt and land on his ankle
and do actra. Yeah, there might be a guy that
that in a pile, maybe twister his ankle. I'd imagine
it might happen today, But I'm not sure that guys
are going out there today with the idea crack and
(45:55):
talking in meetings about like let's go injured Pat Mahomes today.
That feels nots in. It probably is talked about there.
I think it can backfire big time too. You saw
that with Deebo Samuel getting his ankle twisted, and it
just seemed to wake up the forty Niners against the Seahawks.
It's like, why why would you do that? You know
(46:15):
it didn't work and if anything, it got Deebo and
all of his teammates fired up. Yeah, I just don't
I don't I doubt it happens that way. And again
it's it's a very it's not like a shoulder or
a back. It's a acle. You have to be there.
And like specific and also tooking if you get a
quarterback low's the fifty year penalty. That fifth year of
(46:36):
penalty can be very important in the drug. We saw
the fiftyear penalty last weekend on the Chiefs drive with
Tity score touchdown. The penalties probably matter. And so I
don't think we're gonna see that today, crack. I don't
see Holmes running a whole lot either. That's the other thing,
Like you said, I think he's going to be in
the prop the pocket a lot and you can't hit
him low like that, so we have to be scrambling.
(46:56):
So yeah, and the things have done a good job
just kind of keep being mahomes in the pocket in
general when they play each other. Even though he had
a great play in the first game when he scrambled
around for fifteen seconds and found Watson deep, except one
of the Chief's offensive linement was too far downfield. So
guys like these games, like when you watch the first
game back, Kansas City had so many opportunities to win
(47:17):
that game. The first drive they kicked a field goal.
Kelsey's wide open the end zone path throws the ball
to him. A defensive lineman just puts his hand up
and tips the ball. You're like, well, there's four points, right,
Like there were these moments throughout that game where you're like, oh,
the Chiefs just like I didn't. And that's been the
problem in these games. Like I go back to this
a lot. It's very true, and I even looked us
(47:40):
up to to kind of quantify it. Now, the Bengals
don't make mistakes, and there's a quality to this. They
have eighteen turnovers this season, that's it. Five of those
were in Week one, So thirteen turnovers since Week one.
That's nothing. That that's nothing, thirteen turnovers. They have committed
the least to the seven seventh least amount of penalties,
(48:02):
and they have the third least amount of yards against them.
So basically, the penalties they commit are not the personal fouls,
are not the past interferences where there's a lot of
penalty yards against them. So they don't have a lot
of penalties either. And when you watch them play guys,
especially on defense, there's not a lot of blown assignments
like you don't see guys running free through defense. I'll
exposed to plays like they they do the fringes very well,
(48:25):
and so the Chiefs oftentimes don't and it hurts them.
I think when they play the Bengals, the turnovers, the
cute play calls in the red zone, the special team
sloppiness this year, and those are the reasons why the
Bengals I think it beat them recently and those have
to have the Chiefs clean those up. Today. The Chiefs
will win, but specims has been a problem. There are
(48:47):
thirty second special teams. It's a huge problem, and if
they have those issues today they'll lose. Well, that's a
good point. And Jeff, if you start to disagree with
this halfway through, just close your ears, you know, because
you're highlighting that the Bengals are a slid team and
that's important, very solid team. But I think I've heard
this a lot throughout the week, is well, you just
can't bet against my homes. There are a lot of
(49:08):
people that say that, and I would like to raise
my hand and say, yeah you can, Yeah you can,
because in this spot, yeah, when he's got a high
ankle sprain and he's limited in terms of his mobility.
You can bet against the guy. You can bet against
the guy who's been owing three against the Bengals. I
know you hate that part, but it matters here. And
then also this, let's keep it to this season. Chiefs
(49:29):
aret two and eleven against the spread against the a
FC teams this season. So this idea of oh, you
just you can't bet against my homes when he's compromised,
when they're going up against the team that's had their number, Yeah,
you can. Most to be fair, most of the spreads
are like nine, not point half. But like like you know,
last seak was ten, Jackson will keep the field goal
(49:50):
late and you know, like it. They've been like seven
playoff teams this year. What Jason said, Jason had what
shocked me. Five and a half with a health in
the homes. I was talking. I send a message to
someone about that, and they said circle would have opened
up six and a half and then and then and
then let's make sure not six six and a half. Um,
(50:13):
But how about that? Though, Jason said that they need
the Chiefs today, they need a fourteen and three one
seed as a favorite at a home in the Ry game,
the sports book need the Chiefs today. That's crazy, man,
that's wild. Here we are, man, it's this is the
scenario we're in. But I also think you go back
(50:34):
to the Bengals defense, where it hasn't been getting the
attention it deserves. What they've very playoffs, so very very good.
But think about that game against the Ravens. That game
completely swung on a defensive play with the scoop six
and Sam Hubbard goes in. The Ravens were in great
position to win that game, and the defense stepped up
(50:55):
last week against Josh Allen and the Bills. Very good offense.
Ten points, that's it. And yet it hasn't been much
about the defense heading into this game. It's been about
my homes. You can't bet against my homes or he'll
be fine. I don't think you're given just in general
the conton the common conversation, I don't think a lot
of people are giving the Bengals defense. It's just rewards.
(51:16):
They deserve a lot more props than they're getting. It's
because they're not very flashy. You know, they don't have
a defensive Player of the Year Canadan on their team. Uh,
They're just solid, like they're a solid group. They don't again,
they I like the do of not making mistakes. And
again like the like the Ravens play like they they
make those they make offenses, they force them into errors
(51:36):
where they don't make the errors themselves. And they're just
a very solid bunch. And um, it's important to note
that when you look at this game and you know
and you know you force the Chiefs, I don't think
the Chiefs want to play this way. You know, you
force him into those kind of like long drives. The
Chiefs don't want to thrive that way. Now they can't obviously,
but they would rather not. They it's not what they
(51:58):
want to do. They want to boom boom boom now
and again in the first game, the Chiefs move the
ball decently. Like again, it wasn't a bad game for
the Chiefs. The fumble killed um the rush for five
and a half yards they threw for you know, seven
yards of past like they were okay, But those mistakes
and the Bengals ability to force him to field goals,
which is a problem at times in the red zone
(52:20):
for for for Kansas City. Um, you know, the the
Chiefs at times in the short yardage have not been
good this season. So the little fringes here that if
the Chiefs now, the Chiefs hit all those fringes, Brian,
they can win the game. But if they don't again,
the Bengals will win this game. Yeah. This this, uh,
this defensive coordinator from Stan Allen, New York clue almost
(52:43):
he's got this team really good. This this this, this
can be one of those defensive games that it's gonna
shock everybody. Both of the games. Let me tell you something.
Don't be surprised if both of these games aren't like seventeen. Uh,
that can easily happen today. I actually uh would lean,
especially in the same A Frand game I lend on
the show. I'm surprised he's gotten you know, as we're
(53:04):
getting a coaching season now, we've you know, we've already
had one higher and I just saw a report again
about the Broncos interviewing candidates and the Colts and whatnot.
I'm surprised the Balls Depenswitter has got no interview requests.
He's been they've been so good for like three years.
I know it's an offensive minded league and we're moving
to more offensive coaches, but um it feels odd that
(53:25):
a coach of this stature, who has just done good
things for so many years, I cannot really get a
look um uh So I'm curiously if guys get to
kind of hired. As we go through the week, more
interviews are happening in the Cult of Interviewed. I think
five five people now for a second job. Interview um
included Jeff Saturday, which kind of blows my mind. We
(53:45):
know the Panthers have hired Frank Reich, so there's there's
there's gonna be a lot of coaching. I think coaching
hire is going down next couple of days. They I'll
tell you this particular game, everyone's talking about Burrows offense,
and you know it's all week long, how Burrow is
gonna because so good, and you know I'm not gonna listen.
(54:05):
I like the kid, I really do. I like him.
I told you, I told you guys. He actually came
from the He actually graduated the same high school that
my dad did. I love the guy, but I don't
know if he's that superman yet now he maybe he
may go down in the future Jeff as one of
those like top guys of of all time, and I
may I'm not gonna eat eat my words. I like
(54:26):
this kid, I really do, but uh, I don't know,
uh this this is a situation here to playoffs. Now, Listen,
he's got super Bowl experience, not only playoffs experience experience.
But I think that people are looking more towards his
offensive output more than they're looking at the Cincinnati defense here.
So um that this is something that I've talked to,
(54:47):
even the sharp guys this week. I only respect. Believe
it or not, this is gonna be hard to believe.
All the talking heads out there in the NFL, A
lot of them, and I'm not picking on anyone individually.
A lot of them bother me. A lot of them
bother me because they put They put things in people's ears,
and put things in and and even you know, like
they just stuff that makes no sense. Because sports betting
(55:10):
is now a thing that's fashionable. So years ago they
couldn't talk about this stuff. Now they they've been a
they've been a media personality, and they want to cross
over to try to be relatable in sports betting. Honestly,
most of them know nothing. You shouldn't be listening to
anybody that doesn't put their own money up. That's the
big thing with me. Put your own money up. Then
I can listen to you and hear you out. I
don't have to even respect your pick, but I respect
(55:31):
that you're betting on something that you're giving out to
the public. So hey, earn a fifty dollar bonus by

Burger from crack wains dot com. What was it, Crack
(55:51):
the aggravated gambler got me fired up around and be honestly,
I'm fired up already right now, just the saying one
I just said, just thinking of a couple of people
just kissing me off. Whoa we got Jeff Schwartz, the
eight year NFL veteran. His Twitter account will sound like
Cracktice sounded. Should the Chiefs win today, He'll be firing
(56:12):
off some aggravated tweets as well. I'm Brian No. Coming
up next, we'll we see aggressive play calling from this
head coach. Today, it's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff
presented by bet MGM. Welcome to the biggest tailgate party
in the nation. You're locked into Fox Sports Radio's Countdown
(56:33):
to Kickoff Touchdown and it's presented by Matt MGM, the
kick of sports spots. Once again, Here's Brian no h Year,
NFL veteran, Jeff Schwartz, and sports handicapper from crack Winds
dot Com Bill Crack Crackamburger. It is Fox Sports Radio's
(56:54):
Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM. We are just
about three and a half followers from kickoff, Lovely kickoff.
Every time you make a wager at bet MGM, you
earn bet MGM Rewards points that could be redeemed for
things like free bets and risk free tokens. They can
also be converted to MGM rewards points that could be
used towards dining shows and hotel rooms at over twenty
(57:17):
MGM resorts. Alright, Fellas, if we die back into the
NFC title game, the question I have for the forty Niners, well,
Kyle Shanahan be aggressive with his play calling, because if
you might not be you might be right about that, Jeff,
But think about last week the forty Niners head coach.
Right before halftime, there's a minute fifteen left and he
(57:39):
calls a running play, and then second and two and
he calls another running play, and the time just kicking
off the clock. It's third and one, and they're like,
a we'll call it time out with thirty seconds to go.
Then they popped the first down. Then they tried to
be aggressive get into field goal range, which they did
but almost screwed it up. Pretty held onto the ball
(58:00):
little too long, almost screwed it up, throwing it out
of bounds. There was still one second left. But the
point is this, Kyle Shanahan got really conservative with brock
Purty with the lead before halftime, and it's a lot
like Texas hold him. I don't know if you guys
played cards at all, but well timed aggression is what
they always preach. You're not aggressive all the time, you're
(58:20):
not conservative all the time. But I want to see
if Kyle Shanahan has that well timed aggression with Brock Purty,
because I thought he was conservative to a fault before
halftime last week. I don't think that's gonna work this
week against Philly. So I was talking to a buddy
of mine who covers the forty Niners. I was asking
about Kyle Shanahan and kind of the way he calls
(58:44):
a game, because you know, when you try to figure out,
you know, how to kind of write about these games.
I was writing for Fox Sports, and you know, the
fringes matter, right we we we talked about that with
the Bengals and Chiefs, and in this game, I think
it matters even more. And he said it very simply.
He goes, he goes. Kyle Shanahan coaches to survive the game.
(59:06):
Survived the game, and that often explains how a lot
of times you're like, coach, be more aggressive, like go
for it, right, Like be more aggressive, show like that
you trust your quarterback, like go for it on fourth down.
He often doesn't do that right And in a game
when you're playing the Eagles, that are the opposite, right
(59:26):
the Eagles. The Eagles are always pressing right there, always
fourth and two, let's go for it, like they're trying
to always win the game. Where the it does feel
like at times Cay Shannon is playing to just survive
the game. And that swing came out our lot in
this game, right, if it's fourth and two with the
thirty five, the Eagles are going for it. They're absolutely
(59:48):
going for it. Now, they might not convert, that's totally true,
but they might, and that might lead to a touchdown
fourth and two magic kicking that field goal. We know
that already. Shanahan has proven over the years he's kicking
that field goal. And that's a big difference in this game.
And and and maybe he changes his the way he's
coached for so many years now, but we know this
what Shanahan is and and I do worry about that today.
(01:00:12):
If we're handicapping for thet is, how do you account
for Kyle Shanahan trying? You know, is he going to
be a different type of coach today that he has
the past? And crack? I don't think you could say that.
Well before I answer, going to the game real quickly
because I have a d D terribly so I will forget.
(01:00:33):
Brian mentioned something about poker. Let me tell you something
you said if either one of us play poker. I
used to play poker, right, built up a nice bank
roll back in the nineties. And uh, and you know
when you guys were kids, Um, I literally when no
one knew about bluffing and stuff. So but I'll tell
you right what, right now, now, in two thousand twenty three,
(01:00:54):
sitting down with these kids who play on the internet
with their sunglasses, the backpack and there, you know, and
their headsets and their little like I say, headsets, their
pods and you know, snapping the gum thinking they're Joe,
you know, Hollywood Joe. And it's so difficult to sit down.
You know, I live in a in a town that
it has poker everywhere. You know how difficult it is
(01:01:16):
to sit down the poker game with one of these
kids when they're looking down at their cards, looking up,
looking down, looking up, looking down, look it up, then
looking at you and saying, you got that ace, don't you?
And you know me, I'm not, I'm very I'm usually
not cocky or arrogant, but in a poker game, I'm
just gonna say, kids, listen, whatever you got in your pocket,
whatever you can borrow from your parents, yuh, put it, look,
(01:01:36):
just flip a coin for it. Just think I care
about money. I mean, seriously, I can't take none of
the kids. I just can't take none of them. I
understand it's an Actually, I understand it's part of the
game sometime to get into your mental psyche and to
try to psych you out and put you on hands
and stuff. It just doesn't fly with me. I have
no patience that I have a few bucks now. So
back when I was crying, and I guess it was different.
(01:01:58):
Just you A A young kid, kids, a group a
group of youngsters. What's the are they? Jen? What are
they gen zs Now? Are they like Jen A's or like?
What are they? What are they like Jen? Right now?
Like like the next like the Jen. I would love
to see Cracks at the table with seven gen you
(01:02:19):
know what I mean. I'm running the sports book but
trying to bet five thousand on a prop and I'm
sitting in a poker games trying to grind. I mean,
I know how it feels to bet for Crack. I've
tried it before. It's what experience. By the way, yeah,
um where you know what's funny? Guys? I think I
think I blew ten grand right, Jeff down and um
well no, they sent me a limit on me and
like three bets. It wasn't that much. We tried to
(01:02:40):
he tried to lose that much we could or whatever.
It was eight grand. However, in Cincinnati, boy, they didn't
like us very much. Who um we were with one
of our one of our guys and and I'll just
tell you one of our guys. I don't know how
he got these games, but he went like seven and
one and uh yeah, a lot of the money was
given plus something there. So you are right. But going
(01:03:02):
back to the San France Philadelphia game, Um, as we speak, now,
guys again again, I'm seeing this game. Uh there was four,
now there's five threes on the screen. I'll tell you,
I think people, I think the books are gonna be
um really on on the San fran side as today
is when most of the people bet. By the way, people, Um,
if you ever go to a racetracker, and but why
(01:03:24):
do I don't recommend going to a racetrack as double
digit hole that's terrible, terrible bet. But if you have
to go to a racetrack or you go to you
see the last minute or a sports book, look at
the lines right up till game time. People get shut
out every week across America because they wait till the
last minute. So what I'm trying to say that the
point of me saying that is is that what happens
(01:03:44):
today in volume fifty two hundred, two hundred in volume
I think people are gonna bet this, just keep on betting. Um,
I'm not gonna say both home teams. I think there's
more love for Philadelphia here than Kansas City here. Uh.
And I say more love, more home, more home team love,
more fan base love, and more. Let's just say what
(01:04:05):
it is, square public love on Philadelphia and the money
keeps on piling in. But earlier I think in the
I don't know in the in the Parley Platt that
you guys put in, I think you did the money
line rather than the spread. The money line on games
like this, especially that Kansas City game. Let me tell you,
by the way, all twos down across the screen, and
I don't have a single one and half in front
(01:04:27):
of me. So all twos on that game, the one
and the two. As I said on the show earlier
in the season, many times it seems to come out
that seems it does come out more because of the
mist extra point because it's ten yards further, even though
it was years back they changed that rule, or it's
the analytics of the game like we talked about going
for two and us guys say, wow, why do you
go for two? There? It's crazy down by fourteen, you
(01:04:48):
get a touchdown, now you're going for two. But there's
a lot of situations here where you probably the money
line becomes a more valuable than laying the two points.
And especially in this Kansas City game play yesterday, I've
seen like one fifteen money line. Still even today there's
still two one money lines. I'd rather lay the buck
on a quarter money line on the game than lay
(01:05:10):
the two points. So just to let you know, I
think one of you guys also did that earlier. So
good jobs there, and yeah, the money line rather than
laying the points, right, Jeff, Yeah, rather than laying the points.
And uh, as we speak here, guys that the biggest
bets that are coming in moving the screen in front
of me, which I had this live odd screen. I
spent five dollars a month on UH is Kansas City
(01:05:31):
now minus two solid. Also the under in San fran Philadelphia,
which I mentioned earlier. Yesterday, this got hit at forty
six and a half, went down to forty five and
a half today. Still forty six not a key number.
Forty five comes out. More so forty five and a
halfs are slowly disappearing now. Uh four of them are
on that were on my screens down to forty five.
(01:05:51):
And you know what, Yeah, I guess it does surprise
me a little bit. Uh that public money I thought,
you know, because come in on over um yea. And
there is a four nine on the Kansas City game,
which is too high. Probably there's one forty nine here
in town in Vegas. But uh, the under money is
actually trickling in on the San fran Philly game, and
I can't disagree with it. Alright. One thing coming up here?
(01:06:12):
Does the past have anything to do with the present.
We'll get to that first though. Isaac loewen Kron has
the latest for us IL. What's going on, Man Fellas?
Some arresting news this morning. W f A a television
out of Dallas reporting that now former Georgia Bulldogs National
Championship winning quarterback Stetson Bennett was arrested on a public
(01:06:35):
intoxication charge at about six am Central time this morning
in Dallas. NFL media reports the Indianapolis Colts will be
holding a second interview with Green Bay Packers special teams
coach Rich Besaccia for their head coaching job, while ESPN
reports they'll also conduct a second interview with Philadelphia Eagles
offensive coordinator Shane stike In. ESPN also reporting the Miami
(01:06:56):
Dolphins are not expected to pursue Tom Brady the off
season and that they're committed to tow a tongue of Byeloa.
In tennis, Novak Djokovic won the Australian Open for the
tenth time Sunday, tying Rafael Nadal's record for Grand Slam
championship victories at twenty two. In the NBA Saturday Night,
the Lakers and Celtics were tied in the final seconds
(01:07:18):
of regulation. James on the dryer kts in the paint
layoff listed Lakers yours. They thought he just fouled and
it's now over time, Lebron James so upset Mike Breen
the call on ABC as the Celtics one on to
win at one to one. After the game, the officials
(01:07:41):
confirmed that James was fouled and that they missed the call.
James tweeted that one hurt big time. I don't understand.
Lakers head coach Darvin Ham summing it up. The best
player on Earth can't get a call. It's amazing. Speaking
of amazing, back to you guys that avoid to find
just that's amazing that I disagree with it. That was garbage.
(01:08:04):
She was hacked, you know, it's amazing. I don't want
to hear it from from Darmahan, No, Lebron. I just
don't want to hear how many times did they? Does
he get things going on his way? And he's crying
now listen, Yes, he was right. I did see it
was bad. They re submitted right then the resubmit. They
admitted it in the pool interview after the game, norbably
(01:08:28):
the last two Minute report the next day. They even
admitted it post game. It's crazy. It's Fox Sports Radios
Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Bed MGM. Let me just
throw one thing out at you guys, something thinking about
this with Kyle Shanahan and how he's sometimes conservative to
a fault. Do you think it has anything to do
with the Super Bowl loss? When the Falcons went down
(01:08:49):
against the Patriots, Kyle Shanahan was the offensive coordinator. They
were up to three. Yeah, after I said it backwards,
my bad, but yeah, the Falcons are up twenty eight
to three. Patriots have this dramatic comeback, but towards the
end of the game, Julio Jones makes this magnificent sideline catch.
They're in field goal range and instead of running the
(01:09:09):
ball three straight times going up by eleven, Kyle Shanahan
decided to throw it a couple of times and it
ended up costing them and they lost that Super Bowl.
And I just wonder it might be well in the past,
might not have much to do with the way he's
calling plays now. But you start thinking about this last
week with the lead before halftime, got real conservative before halftime. Um,
(01:09:32):
you think about the Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs,
they had a lead right before halftime with Jimmy g
got real conservative. Last season in the NFC Title Game,
they've got a ten point lead in the fourth quarter,
get a little conservative, rams come back and win. I'm
just saying, I wonder if there's anything to it where
Kyle Shanahan wasn't conservative in the Super Bowl game, uh
(01:09:55):
with the Falcons when he was on that staff and
it bit him. I think it's more so about Purdy
being a rookie quarterback, and it's more about the here
and now, but I do wonder how much that Super
Bowl loss has to do with anything as far as
him being conservative. Well, the common denominator here is the quarterback.
As you mentioned, right, Matt Ryan m VP that year,
(01:10:15):
they go for it right, Let's make a play, Brock Purty,
Jimmy Garoppolo, let's pull back right, and and that, And
that's the difference in this game my opinion, Well, there's
many differences, but it's that you have Jalen Hurt to
Philly and Nick SIERRANI fully trust to execute in those
big moments. And it feels like cosh Anahan says, oh,
I don't know if I trust Brock Purty in all
(01:10:37):
these big moments to do everything that's required of him
to make these big plays. And again, like, how do
you pick the team it doesn't trust their quarterback to
win this game? And and Eagles do trust their quarterback
and the Ninners don't. And you mentioned the end of
the first half last game. I tweeted that up be like, well,
they got three points anyways, because scored a touchdown though too,
(01:10:57):
we could and look at the Bengals, by the way, Jeff,
the Bengals are backed up, they're throwing it left and right.
They weren't even they had to throw a hail Mary.
They were nowhere close to scoring. And they're still going
for impressing the issue. And what sucked about that one
for the three of us is we had the borough
over completions and attempts and he didn't even get there
(01:11:17):
and he had like we got free We got free
plays in that drive too. It was incredible. We all
fought like game would be much closer to um but yeah,
so like you know, that's a huge difference, and and
and the Niners in this game will see how much.
And you know, we know the Eagles come out fast,
right and the first half team and if the Niners
kid withstand that early rushed Eagles always have and they
(01:11:42):
come out of the first quarter zero zero three nothing,
even with the lead and flipping around. You have to
feel good if you're a n Irons fan about where
you are, because even in the Giants game, Eagles came
out fast and then kind of like you know, hit
a little deflation and the Giants just couldn't handle the
second half and Eagles kind of ran away at the
very end. But if if the Nighters can with stand it,
early rushed, the Eagles are gonna have you feel much
(01:12:04):
better about where they are. But if they're down ten nothing,
fourteen nothing, you're in a bad place. If you're a
n Irons fan like I. We're gonna get to our
live betting segment in a second, but like I don't
think you'd even take the Niners live plus seventeen points.
I don't even feel good about that normally I'd say,
but if they get down fourteen nothing, they're in a
bad spot, man, because this is not what the not
(01:12:26):
what the offense is designed to do. They're not designed
to play from behind. Um, they're not designed to stop
the run like this, the relentless clock eating the Eagles
are gonna do. They're gonna take every second off that clock.
They're gonna run the ball, run the ball, run the ball.
Use hurts in the run game. And when they're up, man,
they have so many things they can do offensively that
really put you in a bond. You know, guys, when
(01:12:48):
we get to that live segment today, there's never been
a live segment or on here a week twenty or
twenty one on the show here, I've never had a
better live angle than today, I'll just saying, you guys
on something here like it. Yeah, okay. By the way,
in the a f C game, building on what you
guys are talking about, both the Bengals and the Chiefs
(01:13:09):
are eleven and no when they score first, and so
it's important in that game as well. But like you're
pointing out, Jeff, I think it's the most important for
the Niners out of all four teams going today, is
they're just not built to like, all right, party, we're
down by ten, do your thing like great point though,
great point, guys are Jeff brought that up now you're saying,
and you're you're right, You're right. This is a situation
(01:13:30):
here where it's you feel really uncomfortable if you're down
ten nothing right away or seventeen nothing right away. Here,
You're right. You're almost hoping that the defense makes the
play for you. And we've seen the two playoff games.
You know, if you go back to the Seattle game, right,
the defense made that play against Geno to kind of
jump start to finish to that game. Right, we saw
(01:13:51):
against Dallas, right, like, the defense made those plays to
put the Niners in position to win that game. If
the defense doesn't jump start to night. At some point
in this game, ken Brook pretty dud himself. The answers, no, yeah,
that's right, and they owe Dak Prescott a Christmas card
for assisting the couple of times unbelievable. Alright, We've got
(01:14:12):
Jeff Schwarts, eight year NFL veteran Bill kracken Burger from
crack wins dot com. I'm Brian no coming up next.
We're talking in game scenarios, also prop scalore. There are
so many options today. This is like degenerate Heaven. So
we'll have some picks for you as well. It's Fox
(01:14:33):
Sports Radio's Countdown to Kickoff, presented by bet MGM. Smells
like ball kickoffs are coming soon and we're leading you
up to that. This is Fox Sports Radio's Countdown to Kickoff,
presented by Matt MGM, that gig of Sports FOXX. Once again.
(01:14:56):
Here's Brian No, h year NFL veteran, Jeff Schorts, you
sports handicapper from crack wins dot com. Bill crack crack
am Burger. We're about three hours and ten minutes from kickoff.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to kick Off, presented
by bet MGM. Stove into this same game car legs.
(01:15:23):
They plays a one game parlay with at least four
legs in any pro football game at that MGM fall
legs hit except for one. You'll get your your steak
back in free bets up to twenty five dollars. Okay, crack,
you crushed it last week with your same game parlay.
Nice one. That was like the longest one of the year.
Two I had. It was like four to one. But
(01:15:43):
you know, nobody cares. They don't say nothing on losing,
only I'll losing one. The winning ones they just expect.
It's so hard. You know. Up in the New guys
don't know this. Up until this year, and I've done
hundreds hundreds of shows nationwide w f ANN in New York,
which which I grew up on, so proud to be
(01:16:03):
actually in the studio they're doing doing shows. Um, they
want games. They want me to give out games and
and and I don't like to give out selections up
until this year, but on you on this show, I
have given out so many. It's been really successful. So
we've had like seventeen winning weeks given out plays so
far this season. So let's go to this week's I
(01:16:24):
I've built again, it's correlated. I've built it on the
MGM map, the bet MGM map. I'm gonna go the
under the forty five and a half on the San
fran game and McCaffrey. You know you could, you could.
You can actually do alternate lines on the player props here.
So I'll say McCaffrey under seventy four and a half,
which you're allowed to do on this app. Also a
(01:16:47):
j Brown under eighty nine and a half receiving yards
I know everyone loves him, is great. I did the
also the same thing here, so I did the alternate
lines there. Um, I like the Undertness game. These are
kind of kind of semi correlated here. I don't know
if McCaffrey is a hundred percent here either. So the
three of them return to fifty, So fifty bucks returns
(01:17:08):
to fifty. Good stuff. I like it. Crack All right,
let's dive into this as well. Drop it up player plays.
Maybe sure to follow bet MGM across all socials at
bet MGM. We're all over the prop bets here. Jeff,
let's start with you shifting gears. What do you like
(01:17:28):
prop wise today? So Joe Burrow's number for Russia is
not eighteen and a half. It was seventeen and a
half a couple of days ago. When I touch you
guys about this, so um, the Chiefs tend to allow
a lot of rushing yards to mobile quarterbacks in kind
of these games. They rushed those those those deef those
deef a tackles. Why we see why Chris Jones rushes,
(01:17:49):
and then they often the linebackers a don't tackle very
well and they often kind of play that man coverage
where the linebackers kind of just escaped. And we've seen
Burrow now rushed for your yards last geing to playoff
game he at fourty so yards um uh. In the
gamer of the season he has sees a high eleven
rushes and then also Trevor Lawrence last week at twenty
six yards rushing. So kind of in these games the
(01:18:09):
Chiefs allowed yards and mobile quarterbacks with that offensive line
as well. I like the over here for for Joe
Burrow and his rushing. Nice. What do you think crack
I would tend to agree with that? Yeah, I would
tend to. I don't like overs a lot, but I
think the situation that Jeff has said, also the rushing
yards there. Yeah, you know, I like betting the quarterbacks
(01:18:33):
over rushing yards that are uh and grind out type
of games like this, So I didn't do it, but
it's an interesting scenario there, Jeff. You bring up and
like I said, to all these these low scoring defensive
game ball, at least, that's the way I think they're
gonna go. I think there are a lot of scrambling
back there and they can rush. I'll give you a
prop crack, and we want to hear one of yours.
I'm gonna look at Deebo Samuel, the Niners wide receiver.
(01:18:55):
I'm gonna take under fifty and a half is where
it's at at bet MGM, I don't us pretty. It's
the league's number one past defense. There are a lot
of weapons to throw to beyond just Deebo Samuel, and
Deebo's a little bit banged up. So I'm gonna take
under fifty and a half. Cool, you got one that
shoehorn in here? Crack, what do you like? You know why?
(01:19:16):
I said, I agree with you, but I will shoehorn
one and that that listen. I I follow some of
the best prop guys in the world. They like over
today I'm the Homes and I'm gonna have to agree
with them because i have two different sharp guys over
mahomes passing yard, which is set about forty yards lower
than he normally is. Fox Sports Radio has the best

Oh what's going on everybody? Hope you're enjoying your championship
Sunday over here to title games, heavyweight fights, and we'll
get you all set up for it. How about the
line movement going on? I'm looking at bet MGM right now.
(01:19:59):
Both games the home team is favored by two and
a half. So Philly has been steady two and a
half favorite throughout the week. Now we've got the Chiefs
late line movement. The Chief's favored by two and a half.
Be really interesting to see what the show. It's home team, money,
home cooking, and volume. And we're still, by the way,
(01:20:21):
we're still three hours out from the Philly game. That's
six and a half from the Kansas City game. Already
it's two and a half. There is all home cooking
happening with these uh what, I don't want to say
square local Joe's because that's that's wrong with me. There's
sharp guys on these sides too. Yeah, but yes, once
we get to six thirty Eastern time kickoff for the
(01:20:42):
Chiefs game, I wonder what they're gonna be favored by.
It's two and a half right now, we'll see how it's. Yeah,
they opened themselves up for big money there if the
game lands three cent Yeah. I agree the crazy line
movement throughout the week. But one of the things that's
tied to the at of course, with Mahomes, who is
not gonna be with the high ankle sprain. Do you
(01:21:05):
blitz him or do you not? If you're the defensive coordinator.
Lou Amaruno and and Rumo has had a lot of
success playing coverage. He's done this before. I did that
in the a f C title game last year where
he would drop eight. He's probably just gonna vary his looks.
He's not gonna give you a steady diet. But I
think in this game, I think it makes a little
bit more sense to play coverage than it does to
(01:21:26):
just keep sending heat sending heat because with Mahomes being compromised.
I don't think he's gonna be able to buy time
the same way he normally would where he is a magician,
where he's just rolling around buying times, making something crazy happening.
I don't think he's gonna do that. So I think
you can can push the pocket a little bit more,
send heat at times, but I think they're gonna play
(01:21:48):
a little bit more coverage. What do you guys expect today?
So if I were the Bengals, I would not pressure Mahomes.
And really they've been very good at at at creating
havoc without pressure him in the past. And you know
what happens is when you pressure good quarterbacks, they end
up throwing the ball quickly right and and because they're good,
they see the pressure coming you throw behind. And what
(01:22:09):
the Chiefs do really well too, is with Travis Kelsey
and the receivers that they just when you when you
bring a linebacker or a nickel player, a secondary player,
they just have a offensive player just run right to
that spot where the defender just came from and throw
him the ball. There's no one there typically, right because
the defense is a rotate to there. And the problem
is that the defense rotates too soon, it gives away
(01:22:31):
where the quarterback where we're coming from quarterback season, it's
even easier. So I would just sit in zone. I
would double Kelsey and say someone else beat me and
I and that someone else's I don't know who. I
think it's Caadarius Tony. Okay, Darius Tony got the most
work he has gone as a Chief last weekend off
(01:22:52):
that by he's the most dynamic player they have. If
he is ready to go now, Micole Hartman, I think
it's gonna play today. So if he plays, that's another
option for them. Because MVS and juju aren't like man coverage.
Guys like they don't beat man coverage very often. And
so if you're doubling Kelsey, someone's manned ub somewhere and
(01:23:13):
where does that go? Right? And that's the question I
have for the Chiefs. Also, are they going to run
the ball? Um? Are they going to um? You know?
Are they going to you kind of rely on on
the offensive line this game. Then, also to the flip side,
is the Bengals know this right? The Bengals note if
they play zone, this might be with the cat and
(01:23:33):
mouse game here of what might happen makes us so
much fun. The Chiefs have run the ball well against
the Bengals, but they don't stick to it. And will
Andy Reid stick to it this time? Will he will?
He'll say, Okay, look, man, offense along. You guys are good.
Just run the ball against these guys. Well, we'll find
out he might have to. Well, it's funny we're talking
(01:23:54):
about this guy's because last break, I sent you guys,
by the way, I send you guys on this chain,
as five of us in this this text chat, I
send you guys almost everything I get. I mean, I
said it before, I bet things a lot because I'm
I'm confident that your your bets aren't going to move
the line. I mean, I'm sorry, but it is what
it is. Uh so but but uh one of the
(01:24:15):
things was one of my guys, and I really like,
I respect Fays a lot. Kansas City, Cincinnati sacks over
four and a half. Any opinion on that, Jeff, I
asked this. I saw that the text you said it
was my book had a juice to like minus one.
I was like four and a half. Yeah, you can't,
(01:24:37):
you can't. I took Frank. I took Frank Clark by
the way over a sack at over point five sacks?
At uh, what do I get it? At? Um was
there right here? Plus one nine? Because he has like
twelve playoffs sacks. Dude, cannot get a sack in the
regular season. The playoffs, du comes alive. It's crazy, Chris Jones.
(01:24:57):
By the way, zero sacks in the postseason, this history
of the thirteen posts and game zero sacks. For some reason,
Frank Clark twelve post season stacks fourth I think fourth
all time in most post season sacks. Dude, can't sack
the chorder back in the ragnar season comes alive with
the post season, and it's amazing. Chris Jones. He's going
against Frank Clark today, I mean Jackson Carman today four
(01:25:19):
and a half. Look, the Chiefs cannot bring down burrow
Man like they get so close and he always if
the if, the if today, If the Chiefs get burrowed
down like two extra times today and they have it
in previous games, that might be enough to win the game.
If one of those times the stripped Joe burrow which
(01:25:41):
I think last year there was a play where they
stripped him in the ball hit off Chris Jones or
hit off, someone bounced back into Burrows chest and he called, like,
if one of those plays happens today where the ball
gets knocked loose, like that could sway the game, right, So, um,
I don't. I'm not. I'm not laying the juice on that.
I have no problem laying juice on some wagers. It's
like Bengals first to score. We would, we've hit many times.
(01:26:04):
But I'm not laying the juice on minus one sixty
five or four over four and a half sacks. Yeah, no, no, no.
And you know what, there is a point where you
just can't play things. So I like to send things
myself that I'm going to bet. I try to. I
always give them to you guys first, so hopefully you
can grab the because they will move off me. I'm
trying to bet the most money I can on these things.
So uh, there is a point where I won't. I
(01:26:24):
will just pass. I'll just pass. So uh, and you're right,
you're very smart to pass there. A lot of people
wouldn't just because you know, crack Sending a play doesn't
mean that you're gonna lay thirty or forty in this case,
forty five cents more So, Yeah, I was I saw that.
I was like, yeah, I'm gonna pass on that one.
Look at some of these lines move so quickly. Like
you said to Miles Sanders, I got a little different number. Yeah.
(01:26:45):
That was also on a text chain, guys, Sanders, under
which I was gonna give out later, but I might
as well talk about it now. Yeah. Well the number
I got different, so but you should give it out now,
so it doesn't okay, Yeah, no, the now the under
under on his rushing yards. Um, but you know, it's
still gonna be a grind game there. It's it's not
my favorite today, but I definitely agree with uh with
(01:27:06):
the guy that tended to me there, uh the under
rushing yards there are you know, I wonder if you would, uh,
if you'd lay extra juice on the Cincinnati mayor saying
something else really stupid. He sort of walked it back
a little bit. Guys, he walked a little bit. Um, well,
let's get the intro here. This is the first part
of it, and I could see why he would want
(01:27:27):
to walk it back. This is aftab pure vall the
Cincinnati mayor talking some smack about the Kansas City Chiefs,
and Patrick Mahomes checked this out. Good afternoon, Cincinnati, I
have a proclamation from the desk of the Mayor being proclaimed.
Whereas the Cincinnati Bengals are headed to Burrow Head Stadium
for their second consecutive a f C Championship game. Whereas
(01:27:49):
last year's game, the Bengals scored more points than the Chiefs,
resulting in the Bengals victory and the Chief's loss. Whereas
Joseph Lee Burrow, who's three and l against Mahomes, has
been asked by officials to take a fraternity test. It's
confirming whether or not he's his father. Whereas all season long,
Cincinnati has been on a path of destiny, fighting out
(01:28:10):
to overcome anyone who stands between them and the Super
Bowl win. And whereas Kansas City is named after its
neighboring state, which is, you know, just kind of weird. Now, Therefore, I,
after hap pure of all, Mayor of the City of Cincinnati,
do hereby proclaim January as they got to play us
day in Cincinnati. Thank you. Wow. A lot going on
(01:28:35):
right there. So apparently saying that Joe Burrow might be
Patrick mahomes father, it's supposed to be tongue in cheek.
The whole thing is I hate to make something serious
that it's something that's supposed to be light. But I
just have a problem with somebody talking trash who doesn't
have to back it up, you know, like when you're
talking trash and other guys have to back it up,
(01:28:55):
that's just lame to me. My problem is is that
we had a very fun week of back and forth
trash talk, right, like the Borrowhead stuff like well, I
think Willie Gay was what they said, Like are you
worried about the Bengals offensive? No, I'm not having worried
about anything. We had a good back and forth week.
It was great. And then the mayor just comes in
and ruins all of it. Okay, like the scripted trash talk.
(01:29:18):
It's so bad. I like, I like the friendly mayoral bets.
You know, if if we win, we'll send you skyline chili,
if you win, will send you a barbecue, like yeah,
let's have look. And I believe today or yesterday they
raised money for children's hospital. They did something great together.
But they did something good together. But besides that, like
the tras, don't force the trash talk and now too,
(01:29:41):
if you lose Bengals fans are gonna kill you because
you jinx them. Also, there's a sports book that like
paid out. All those Bengals futures are ready to like Yeah,
they're like so like their way like they are the
Bengals fans are like on cloud their way jumping the shark.
I think for for this so far. So hey man, uh,
(01:30:02):
more power to you guys. Good luck today. Um Bengals Mayor,
I keep going, Bengals mayor since Snatti Mayor he's done,
actual Bengals Mayor, Snatty mayor. Um. A lot of talk
today to back up um. The Burrowhead stuff was fun, man,
Look it's fun. Look the Chiefs. The Chiefs have to
(01:30:23):
win for the Bengals to stop talking trash. That's the
way it works, Eli Apple, talk your trash man. You
know Hilton, I think it was Hilton he said the
burrow Heead thing. Talk your trash man, like, go ahead,
you deserve it. You beat the Chiefs three straight times.
The Chiefs have to win to get you to shut up.
And if you win today, keep talking that trash. That's okay, okay, yeah,
keep doing it. Yeah, I just gotta back it up,
(01:30:45):
that's all. And you're right. It has been a very
fun back in fourth week, even Chris Jones mentioned it.
He was walking off the podium doing its press conference
and he said, we'll see at Burrowhead Stadium. He was
very sarcastic. But that's a serious thing, is I mean,
it's added motivation. They don't need it, but extra motivation helps.
(01:31:07):
And the Chiefs are sick and tired of losing to
the Bengals. They know all this stuff that's being set
out there no doubt about it. And look, there's no
this is I remember, I've never played on a team
like this. Like it's hard to like, um like talk
about this feeling. And maybe I need to call my
brother and ask you. But I don't know if he
ever felt this way, because he was at the beginning
(01:31:28):
of the kind of this Chiefs, this Chief's push, right
is you know, they played the whole regular season for
today basically, right like they they this a fifth straight time,
fifth straight year hosting this game. They were in this
game last year. They're up twenty one three, They needed
one more yard to gain to go up twenty eight
three and a half time. They had gained every conceivable
(01:31:50):
yard possible until the final player. The first half in
the Anttil game last weekend last year, and then they
just stung on the second half of the Bengals won.
And I saw Bengals fan who covers the team tweet
out like he was, we're watching the game. He was,
I don't even know how that happened. Like again, like
if you had told me the Chiefs had thrown the
second half, I would have believed you. And of course
they didn't do that. Make very clear it was so unconceivable. Okay,
(01:32:12):
they have waited for this moment for three sixty five days.
This has been their entire motivation for the entire off
season has been not not even the week thirteam game.
It's been today. Everything we have done this off season
is to play this game today. Mahomes, Kelsey, the offensive line,
that get all offense line is returning, Chris Jones, Frank Clark,
(01:32:34):
all the guys on defense, Andy Reid, Steve Spagnola, everyone is.
This has been what they have focused on for three
and six five days is playing out the Bengals. I
don't think I have done the same focus now. Of
course they want to be here and they're excited to
be here, but this has been the Chiefs focus has
been playing in this game for three and sixty five days,
and so the trash shok has fun at all. But
(01:32:54):
they're ready to play there. They don't need that to play.
So that's why I'm excited to see what Andy Reid,
especially offensively and look and spags in game one on
defense play a very basic vanilla coverage. And so that's
on tape now. Is that you're going back to today
or we're doing some a little bit different and kind
of pressing Joe Burrow. Hey, Every Thursday, be sure to

looking at role players that could come up big today,
and you can go in any direction on any team.
(01:35:11):
Is there anybody that stands out to you. I mean,
I'll start it off with the first game of the
day and let you guys go from there. I'm looking
at the forty Niners. Diamador Lenore, shout out to your
ducks over here, Jeff. Yeah, he's had an interception in
both of the playoff games, one against Seattle one last
week against the Cowboys. He could play a big role today.
(01:35:31):
And you guys might not agree with this one. But
Miles Sanders, the Eagles running back. I know you have
the under on his rushing total crack and you put
it in the same game parlay. Yeah, peanut bet, but
I look at him. He's fifth in the league and
rushing this season. He has more rushing yards than Christian McCaffrey.
He's got more rushing touchdowns than Christian McCaffrey. And he
(01:35:52):
could play a big role today. I love the Niners
front seven, and they do not let you run the
ball easily against them. But if it's kind of this
mixture of run past Hurts is keeping you off balance.
And you could see Miles Sanders break a couple of
big runs today. I would not be surprised if he
plays a big role today. I like those. Um, here's mine.
(01:36:14):
I'm gonna use the opportunity to get to just to
just change the topic to office defensive lines. But I'm
gonna give you your answer here you ready. Mike McGlinchey,
the the Niners right tackle. Shout out Irish, Yes you know,
Dame Irish. Um. I think people um kind of talking
about the Niners like they have five Trent Williams out there,
when in fact they have one. Um. The rest of
(01:36:35):
NER's offensive line is good to blow average. They rotate guards, guys,
they rotate guards there, and it's jaking rotating offensive linemen. Um.
Reddick is seventh the Eagles, UH defensive and who will
play over Mike McGlinchey. He's seventh in the league in
pressures for edge rushers, and I think he had two
(01:36:55):
sacks last weekend against the at least one and a
half sacks against the John Aliance. He feels like a
lifetime ago for some reason too. Um, and then inside
Javon Hargrave, who is the Eagles defensive tackle is third
in the NFL and pressures for defensive tackles. So there's
a big mismatch like that. Take Tram Williams out of it,
(01:37:17):
Like like, if you're the Eagles, you just rushed like
whoever over him. You put everyone else against against a
good against the bad offensive alignment, and you just rushed
those guys. So to me, it's Mike McGlinchey, like, if
you can lock down Reddick, you give everyone else an
opportunity to win there, because then you could give less
help to to yourself. Right, So to me it's him,
is can he do this? And I know this is
(01:37:37):
matchup is not kind of an unsung guy, but Lane
Johnson is might be a Hall of Famer the Eagles
right tackle, but most people are going to talk about
him as much as Zion might. He has that he
has that right kind of adductor tear. He's gonna geinst
nick Bosa today. He's got to be healthy to play him.
And and how does that change the way the Eagles
(01:37:58):
go about there? The Eagles get the least amount of
helps their offer tackles in all football. Well, you don't
have to because Jordan Latta left tackle and Lane Johnson
the right tackle, all pros and Pro Bowl guys. So
if his leg is not a pent, he can't pass
back as well. Today, Well, if you help with someone else,
you help Lane Johnson. Has that affect your passing game.
(01:38:19):
So to me, it's it's both right tackles. It's Lane
Johnson and Mike McGlinchey. How do they match up? Because
the Eagles have the advantages in the trenches today as
they do in most games, and if they win those matchups,
and now as are not winning this game, He's been
talked about a lot. Uh you know, if it's funny
you us skies that just watched from from watch the game,
the public at home that only know the market players,
(01:38:39):
and that I've been saying this over the years. Now
the linemen are finally getting taken care of financially getting ridiculous,
not ridiculous, but yeah, I guess if you're getting timillion
a year, it's pretty ridiculous. But they are just found
that they're they're as valuable as a lot of those
Markie running backs and tight ends, and uh they are
because without them, they don't get they don't get the
plays they don't get they're not gonna be open like
(01:39:00):
they should be. So Lane Johnson has gotten some uh
press this year or some respect, but he has gotten
the They're always talking about him being injured. Now for
today's game, he is supposedly pretty healthy though compared to
you know, I get well, I said that that that
kind of an injury, really, a tear can get worse abody, right, Jeff.
(01:39:20):
As the season goes on without having a Lane injury,
UM cannot get any worse. It's just it's pain management. So, um,
it's all about paying, doesn't it shot up in that
leg and that might even should get shot. He it's
a torny adductor. It's torn. So it's just a matter
of playing through the pain. How much can you manage
(01:39:40):
it by you can? I'm sure they're gonna wrap his
leg up. But if you this is very technical. If
you watch Lane play, he has that big kick right,
that big kick with his right leg. He kicks back
a lot. That's probably limited a little bit. If you
watched him last week, it was a smaller kick and
more more of a back pedal, you know, like, yeah,
my manage against against both is a little different. So
pay management for him. And it's canny. And so the Eagles,
(01:40:02):
I think, do they say, hey, look, we're gonna help
you lay in a little bit in this game. And
the thing about help guys, you have to prepare during
the week for help because what help does. So when
you when you take a tight end or a running
back and you help an offensive lineman, that's one less
guy in the route. So most route concepts are either
two man or three or even four, and the third
(01:40:23):
guy is a tight end or running back out of
the backfield. So if you have a layer route, you
have one wide receiver is a top layer, a tight
end maybe it's a second layer, and a running back
is the third layer. And that running back is important
because it pulls the lower defender either to the running
back or to the tight end. And you have that
third option. Well, that third option now is helping the
offensive tackle. You have one less option in the route concept,
(01:40:46):
so there's less options to throw the ball to. So
that's the So it's hard in the middle of a
game if you haven't game planned that in to be
like all right, well just go do it now. Well,
now your route concept is a little different than you
practiced all week, and so that's why it's important to
either build it in or don't have it. That's why
I would fancy can just help the offensive line. It's
harder to like do if you haven't practiced it all week,
(01:41:08):
if that makes sense, like you sort of haven't sort
of in there a little bit. So the egos either gameplay,
which I think that I think they'll be prepared for
this one, um, because I think it's gonna be a
problem for Lane a little bit. All right, we'll look
to the A f C role players that could step
up big and also get your in game plays. But
first we've got Isaac Lowancron. He's got the latest fellas.
(01:41:29):
W f A, a television out of Dallas, reports that
now former Georgia Bulldogs National Championship winning quarterback Stetson Bennett
was arrested this morning on a public intoxication charge at
about six am Central time in Dallas. By the way,
a cautionary tale in this day and age of social media.
(01:41:50):
Right now, there's a video circulating on social media that
claims to be video footage of Bennett's arrest. It is
actually footage from Big her Mayfield twenty seventeen public intoxication arrests,
Not great foot speed from Baker. That's that's what people
are saying that they're making the same comments about this
(01:42:11):
video and related to setson benefit, is actually video of
Baker Mayfield six years ago. Coming up at three pm Eastern,
It's the NFC Championship game from Philadelphia as the Eagles
taken on the San Francisco forty Niners, and fellas, we
have a new dimension to the already extensive pregame trash
(01:42:32):
talk between the two fan bases with this interview from
a forty Niners fan who traveled to Philadelphia that was
in search of a Philly cheese steak, but a Philly
chiefe steak made with turkey and not red meat. Listen chea.
(01:42:52):
I asked her if she knew what she was getting
into it South Philadelphia. Our friends and families said, don't
wear a Niner scare there. So I'm hoping for a
very nice, friendly, friendly atmosphere. A forty Niners fan hoping
for a nice, welcoming fan friendly atmosphere at Philadelphia after
seeking a Philly cheese steak made with turkey. Your thoughts, fellows, Okay,
(01:43:16):
So I had a vegan Philly cheese steak. Awhile ago
think you know a person? Boy, it was it was
for It was for a TV shows doing It was
very good. Okay, I don't think fan friendly and Philly immediately,
that's what I'm saying. That's the mistake, like that they're
going to be in for a rude awakening. Yeah. But
but wait a minute, So what was the place that
(01:43:39):
you went to get a vegan? It wasn't like one
of the you know pats. It was a vegan restaurant
that served cheese steaks in philip Was it in Philadelphia? Yes?
It was delicious. It's very good. I'm fascinated by that.
I mean too, I can't believe they even make something
like that. I know you think it was it was?
(01:43:59):
It was in Philadelphia. Wow. I mean I would think
that the Board of Health would not give them a
permit and just say they just make something up. Yeah,
you're not allowed to here. It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown
to Kickoff, presented by bet mgm alright quickly fellas before
in game betting. Let's look at the A f C
(01:44:21):
side role players that might play people today. I'm looking
at the uh, the Bengals safety one of them, Jesse Bates.
Do you think back to the Championship game last year
and overtime he was the guy who knocked the deep
ball away from Tyreek Hill that was intercepted by Von Bell.
I could see Jesse Bates playing a big role today
(01:44:42):
and also for your Chiefs, Jeff. Even though this guy
only had one catch for six yards last week mvs.
Marquez Valdez Scantling, he had a touchdown grab against the Jags.
It was a big deal. They won by seven points.
I don't expect MVS to go ballistic today. He's just
not that type of dude. But based on how they're
gonna cover Kelsey, expect them to double him, bragg at him.
(01:45:04):
Maybe he gets loose for a big play today. I
would keep your eye on on m VS. Today. To me,
MVS is all or nothing guy. He's either going for
a hundred yards or zero yards. That's the type of
guy he is. And if he tries to catch the
ball today with his chest, I'm gonna I'm gonna explode
an anger. I'm gonna like, I'm just gonna die in anger.
Like buddy, if you're listening to this, I know you are,
because I'm sure the whole Chiefs, the whole Chiefs fans
(01:45:26):
are listening to this right now, the whole Chiefs team.
You're like six seven, dude, you're probably six four. You
those things, those big old pausy guys, like, just go
up there and use them, Like just go grab the
ball of the air. Just take it up and like
jump up and use those big hands and grab the
ball out of the air. It's easier to use those
thingstead of waiting for Tater chest Like, just go grab
the ball and like take it out of the air. Sorry,
(01:45:48):
catches the balls. I'm gonna go off subjects for a
minute because I'm on. I'm on that Chief Steak thing
just real quick. I just want to tell you Ailo
mentioned Pats and Gino's. They're the old ones from the
old days from the Rocky movie. That's that's no more.
You want to go to Avenue Steaks on West Oregon Avenue,
or you want to go to Angelo's on Ninth. Sorry, guys,
have put that in there. That's the best to cheese
(01:46:08):
steaks in that town. Though. By the way, Uh, sorry
to go off subject here. Let's go back onto the
this this a f C. Go ahead, what about it?
Have you been there? What it was? I'm just saying,
like I did a food cooking show and it was
surprisingly very good. Yeah, maybe we're like part of the
(01:46:31):
show and they agreed. The vegan cheese steak was pretty
good too. I don't know. Maybe Oh, okay, um, since
in any kid something there but his crack his look hard.
You can tell Brian no, I just I fly into Philly.
My boys are in Philly. I know what the what
his heart for the cheese steaks. I gave you a
(01:46:52):
big one, so I must I'm gonna saying. I'm saying,
first of all, you Angel, you can't even get in Okay,
all right, sounds good? Um, Cincinnati, Kansas City. Uh, you know,
Jason mentioned something really good earlier. I can't I did.
He said a number that shocked me. Forty they're expecting
(01:47:14):
plus plus, which means half the volume at bet MGM
is going to be on a live game today. I
just find that hard to believe. I mean, that's something
that just doesn't make sense to me in America no more.
Uh you know, it's that's something by the way, in Europe,
it's been like that for years with the live in game.
It has crossed the seas here across the ponds, uh
(01:47:35):
to the United States where they're getting that kind of volume.
And yes, everyone just like he said, waiting to see
what happens, what mahomes that first series and then they're
gonna be pounding the live wagering markets. Well, I'll just
tell you whatever they're pounding, I want the other side.
So just just to let you know, well you're getting
(01:47:57):
to that. That's not even our live wagering segment. Yeah,
that's what we're gonna do right now. Let's dive into
it right here. Let's do it. Oh yeah, not live
yet live Bett all right, crack. So you're you know,
hinting at it with your in game. I have a
big one scenario, what is this, uh Philly San fran
(01:48:18):
If there's a quick score in that game, and Philly
has been known to come out, uh you know with
some quick scores and they've been a dominant first half
team this year, I'll look the bet under and I'm
I'm looking forward to bet under actually in this game
at at a scenario where I can get it above
the key number of if you can get it at
that number, which if there's a score in the first
(01:48:38):
six minutes, you will you should be able to. I
do like that under there you go like that one.
What are you want today, Jeff? I think you if
you can get like if someone opens up to like
a ten point lead in the Bagels and Chief's games,
take the other side, like just take the points whoever,
(01:48:59):
like if it's you know, if the Bagels up tend nothing,
just take the Chiefs plus the point of Chiefs up
tend nothing. Take the Bengals plus the points like whenever,
like even seven nothing like the Bagel king on score
touchdown and you have been weighed during this game and
you get Chiefs plus something or Chiefs even like just
I think that's the way to go in this game,
like just whoever comes out hot, take the other side,
by the way, And I agree with you on this one.
(01:49:21):
In the NFC game, if the Niners get down early,
you're not gonna take the Niners because that's not their
comfort zone. Would you just stay away or would you
think about taking Silly? Would you would you take Philly
for even more points that they'd have to cover there?
Oh man, I think I know things I would take
almost I wouldn't even look, I think Cracks point about
the under, like even the second half under, but it
(01:49:43):
might probably that it's gonna be like twenty and a
half and that's gonna be the terrible number. I'm not
gonna do that. It's gonna be some terrible number already
know it's um yeah, I think he's if they could
up tend nothing fourteen nothing, that the under, I think
the live under would be a good play there in
that game. I'm thinking the the a f C title game,
maybe an in game under if it gets off to
(01:50:05):
a hot start. I just it feels like an under
game to me collectively. But I think that if look
if Mahomes their first drive is scripted and he looks
pretty good, and you get an extra couple of points
here on the total. I'm looking to the under because
I don't think Mahomes is gonna be close to himself
today mobility wise, I think that's gonna have a big,
(01:50:27):
big impact on how many points the Chiefs score. And
then I also look at the Bangles, who are down
three starting offensive lineman. I don't expect like a tend
to six game or a grinder like that, but I
think it could be a grinder to the point where
it's under forty eight and a half. I'd look for
an in game under if the opportunity presents itself with
some early score with maleg I like when we're on
(01:50:50):
the same side here, Jeff, you know when you're he
has not Yeah, actually yeah, I'm actually steak did, but
my cheese steak takey did. But everything else the cheese
steak thing that you know, I throw on to the bus.
I like the regular I had the regular ones. Also,
(01:51:13):
I'm saying, like I've been in all the other places
as well. I'm saying, I'm just saying, knock the Yeah,
I'm just gonna giving props to the Hips City Events.
The place I went to, it was good. I love
when there's just immediate silence. You know, there was immediate
silence when you said that you had what was it,
a vegan cheese steak bab. I love when there's just
(01:51:34):
this oh oh wow, and you can feel it, right,
you can feel the silence that you were greeted with initially.
That was good, good stuff. Yeah, all right, we got
a lot to get to before we get on out
of here. With Jeff Sports, eight year NFL veteran Bill
kracken Burger from crack Winds dot com sports handicapper du
jour Over there, I'm Brian no coming up. We've given

a f C, Well, excuse me, the NFC title game.
We're starting off with Niners Eagles just over two hours away.
It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by bet MGM.
Let's dive into this rapid fire. New users download the
(01:53:01):
bet MGM app today and use code countdown for a
special offer. That's code countdown in the bet MGM app
all right, we'll each have a play for you today. Crack,
We'll start with you. What do you like, man? I
like so many of these things, Jesus, all right, let's
let's go with Let's go with Samuel under fifteen and
a half receiving yards. There, there we go. There's a
(01:53:24):
there's a strong one. I like. Like I said, these unders,
I like, there's a there's one of them. Um. I mean,
my favorite play all week has been Eagles minus to
two and a half. I know it's up to maybe
three now in some places, but you can still two
and a half. I just think you look at at
the quarterback situation, you look at the offensive if it's
a line favor of the Eagles. And I mentioned the
(01:53:45):
fringe just earlier, right, The Niners and colle Shanahan tend
to be more conservative, not trusting their quarterback. All the Eagles,
they go four or fourth down, especially got better in
the red zone, like these little fringe opportunities. That is
just better at um. So, I've always liked the Eagles
all week, um, and I'll continue to like him heading
(01:54:06):
into the game. In a couple of hours. I hate
to give you ammunition to uh throw stuff back in
my face, Jeff, But I like the Bengals plus two
and a half today. You know I'll eat it if
I'm wrong. But I look at what I get with
any wager, Like what am I getting here? So if
I'm getting two and a half points and I get
(01:54:27):
Big James, big game, Joe Burrow, who's been unflappable against
a compromised Patrick Mahomes, He's not gonna have great outside
receivers to throw too. I think his mobility is gonna
be limited. I think they're gonna double Kelsey certainly not
gonna have fourteen catches today like he did last week.
I think the odds are in my favor. And then
also the payback thing. I get that it's payback time
(01:54:49):
for Kansas City. They've lost three straight against Burrow and
the Bengals, and they lost the a f C title
game last season to them. But I do think that's
the same thing. But I do think of the Cowboys
the same situation. Last week, the Cowboys had a second
crack at the Niners, and they looked even worse than
last year. Last year they had the weird They didn't
(01:55:09):
get the spike in time, ran out of time, and
then they get a crack and Dak looked awful. So
just because the Chiefs have been preparing for this stage,
in this moment, it doesn't mean they're gonna win. And
I think it's gonna be an uphill battle with Mahomes.
I don't think it's gonna look like his special self,
So I'll take the Bengals pliff two and a half.
Does it change your opinion that let's say Mahomes is
(01:55:31):
like it says. Let's just say I sent you that
tweet from Dan Ravell who said he talked to Orthopedis
who claimed that there's no way this is actually in
a high ankle spraining. It was something else. Let's just
say it wasn't a high ankle sp because we don't know.
The NFL just has to say ankle. They don't have
to say ankle sprain. I think it's they don't have
to announce the injury. So let's say it really wasn't.
Let's say it was a low ankle spray, which is
not that serious. Right, He just he cut it out,
(01:55:52):
He made it work, And the line is supposed to
be six five and a half six, Does that change
your opinion on on who you would wager on if
I see Mahomes at Yeah, I like the Chiefs more
than I do right now. I just don't think. I'm
just curious. Yeah, I'm not curious. Yeah, I'm curious. How
you felt that change your opinion on this one bowl? Yeah,
(01:56:13):
Mahomes comes out first drive, I guess it by that point,
there's no value in that wager if Mahomes comes out. Yeah. Yeah.
So if Mahomes came out, let's say it scored a
touch on the first drive and somehow he got gets
down at some point during the game, he looks very healthy,
would you take the Chief's money line. Then he's gonna
have to I would almost have to see him look
(01:56:35):
really good in the first half, and I might even
want to see him a bit in the second half.
Probably too late by that point, but I just need
to see Mahomes. That's the thing. Mahomes getting out of
the pocket, buying time, making special plays. I just don't
think that's gonna happen today, man, I don't I understand. Yeah,
(01:56:55):
into this as well is the best play of the days,
al Right, crack. What is it? Man? What do you
have for us? Listen? Best best player today is not
to have a bet because of her on TV today
on a sider total. Let's look at these secondary markets.
I told you about the unders here. I may have
(01:57:18):
to give you two here if you don't mind, I'm
gonna give you the under with Kittle. I know it's
really any tight end, really not good. Everyone likes to
bet overs under Kiddle forty seven and a half yards.
But let me give you something that's been pure gold
for us this year. Do you guys know what that is?
Go ahead, Jeff. You can even score Bengals first. That's it.
Bengals first to score uh in today in today's Kansas
(01:57:39):
City Sincinnati game. Guys, have a great day looking forward
to this. A lot of fun today. Uh. You know,
bet with your head, not over it. But bet these
secondary markets. You don't have to bet everything on a game.
There you go. I like that right there by the
way Chiefs Chiefs doing third quarter? That was interesting. I
did share that earlier in the weekend, and that's kind
(01:58:00):
of correlated to this though, you know what I mean? Right?
Very good, Jeff. How about we got a little time
throughout a couple of prop beds. What do you think
about this, Jalen Hurts, I was looking at his longest
rush twelve and a half. I don't know about you, guys,
but this, to me is the training wheels are off.
There's a super Bowl on the line over here. I
(01:58:21):
see him rushing for at least thirteen yards on one Like,
do you guys see it? Is he healthy enough to
do that? Maybe? I think this game? Yeah, I watch
out for God. Full steam ahead, a full steam ahead,
big time. All right, every buddy enjoyed championship Sunday. We'll
(01:58:42):
see how it all shakes out. We'll be back here
next week to break it on down. Get you set
for the super Bowl as well. Have a good day.
We'll see you.
