Speaker 1 (00:01):
Don't listening to Fox Sports. Oh, let's go Arnie, let's go. Um.
How challenging was last night for you? I was a
little worried about you with your team being on while
you were on the air, may necessarily go so well,
was it tough that goodness was at the n C

(00:22):
Double A Tournament? Otherwise I would have walked right off
the air after that lost to Gonzaga, would have just left.
That would have said I'm out of here. I thought,
I you know you. You don't handle losing to nonpower
five schools very well. It destroys me. Um in basketball
when I'm doing the show with Torres and he's the
basketball guy. Um, Seriously, if Arizona loses, I'm just I'm

(00:46):
out of here. And they always play while I'm on
the air. It's always during the tournament. I gotta watch him,
you know, suffer some terrible loss and be crabby. It
takes me like a two weeks to get over that,
or until the tournament ends, until I'm not crabby anymore. Well,
there's no reason to be crabby tonight, because the way
it looks right now, we may have a really good
finish here in Sunday Night football there's about three fifty

(01:08):
left in the game. Buffalo leads Pittsburgh seventeen to ten.
Remember a couple of weeks ago and Mike Tomlin made
the joke about why they started Duck Hodges because he
hadn't killed him. Well, he has tonight, and that's why
we are where we are right now with Pittsburgh trying
to drive in Arnie. Is it just my imagination? I
was joking with Bobo, who's on the wheels of steel

(01:30):
Leader lapp Our, producer has a great show to night,
Steve Disager on updates. I was joking with the guys
in the guy called Fox Sports Radio Studios because you
don't acknowledged him. That's why. But big Ben, we're we're
hitting me over for sidelines shots of big Ben, But
he doesn't necessarily look like a guy that's got himself
in peak physical condition during this injury. He's at an

(01:54):
unfair statement on Now, I'm a fat guy, so I
can say this, but he's at an unfair statement on
my part? Or is this just the layering issue right
now which can cause maybe appearances to be skewed. You know,
the camera does add thirty pounds. I've learned that the
hard way being on camera, lot um, and it makes
me look so much bigger than I normally am. It's terrible,

(02:15):
but cat and pounds to you, especially right around the
neck area. I've I've noticed that just for me though.
Maybe the good news is, uh, they've done a good
job of making sure we get a front row seat
for everything big been related tonight here on Sunday Night Football.
But as we come to you live from the Guy
ca Fox Sports Radio studios, where fifteen minutes could save

(02:35):
you fift or more on car insurance. All you have
to do is visit guy dot com forre a free rate.
Quote Arnie. It's interesting because we have a lot to
get to from on the field issues today. We have
a lot to talk about with teams clinching playoff berths. Uh,
incredibly bad beats today, terrible, terrible. We we got your boy,

(02:57):
Bernie Fratto coming up in our final hour. In fact,
he's already reached out, said the morning was brutal for
the sports books, but the afternoon a little bit better.
So what did you do yesterday? You had no college
football except for Army Navy. You must have been beside
yourself with nothing to do. It was amazing, and my
wife dragged me around to go look at Christmas lights
and go to a Christmas parade. Harn'ty. I wanted football

(03:17):
back quickly. I can imagine you doing that out. How
funny is that it was the worst the best, right, Like, honey,
I got Army Navy. There's gonna be a lot of
talk about that tomorrow. She was, she was well ahead
of that. She already had that taken care of. But
in John Middlecoff's coming up arty a little bit later
on to to kind of talk a little bit about
the end of the college season and what we're learning
tonight is the Steelers have push it into the red zone.

(03:40):
But I figured we'd real quick off the top hit
on the two non I guess game related issues, even
though a coin toss does some whould become game related.
That that that stole headline state and it started well,
it started last week, but then of course it came
to a head before kickoff when Jay Glazer on the
Fox pregame show revealed the video that we had from
the Patriots taping the sidelines to the Cincinnati Bengals. Now,

(04:02):
for those internew to the show and maybe don't know
Arnie's local beat is obviously talking to a lot of
Patriot fans on a daily basis and covering this team regularly.
So before we get into the fallout from today, Arnie,
what was the week like surrounding that story? We had
heard already that they had said, can we just erase
this and forget that it ever happened? We were joking

(04:23):
about that. We we compared it to the Eddie Murphy
movie when when he's with Gilbert Godfried and and he goes,
is there anything I have in this hand that could
make those tickets go away? In that add and he
has like three hundred towers in his hand, It's like,
is there anything we could do? Can we erase this?
Can we forget about it? I still said this, if
you're the Patriots and you're worried about and they said

(04:44):
that they got some substitution patterns off with Cincinnati was doing.
If you're worried about Cincinnati's substitution patterns, um, instead of
worrying about your offense and the wide receiver problems and
your offensive wide problems are getting the running game going,
you're worried about the wrong thing. I just think it
say unfortunate situation. But I I equated it to this.

(05:05):
You know, you have a two or three kids, which
you do, and you never know which one starts when
they're fighting in the backseat, and fatherly you have enough
you don't know who started, but just say, hey, knock
it off, already, all of you, knock it off. I
don't think the Patriots did anything wrong this time. But
if at the point where I'm like, hey, knock it off, already,
knock off, pushing it all the way to the limit
and trying to take it on the border wide of

(05:26):
cheating or not cheating, just knock it off. You don't
need to go there. This is ridiculous. Well can and
then can I add maybe another parent related angle to this. Yes,
you always have the one kid that consistently seems to
start it. And maybe and maybe that one kid isn't
actually doing anything wrong, but because of his or her reputation,

(05:49):
they're gonna end up taking the brunt of the blame.
Where are you talking about one of your kids now?
I don't I'm just talking to me. I don't know.
But since the Patriots have been caught for this before,
and because there's always seemed to be this almost asterisk
conversation surrounding it. I think there's that presumed guilt right away.

(06:11):
With that said, Arnie, I guess substitution patterns would would
be one. But as I've even when when I watched
the tape, I don't know what what are they really
trying to get because everything is signaled in for an
offense and a defense anymore through a helmet. I mean
it's not This isn't a college game where you're flashing
signals and they're having to hide the offensive and defensive

(06:32):
coordinator or the coaches on the sidelines with a green
hat and a red hat and five guys giving different signals.
I mean, everything's radioed in. So that confused me, and
then I thought about this way, and then we'll move
on past this because I don't know how big of
an issue it is. I think Jay Glazer showed why
he's the ultimate insider, because you get that video footage
and it doesn't really seem overly damning, but it is
a straight on shot of their sidelines and dudes given signals.

(06:55):
I will say not. I've been around a lot of
video production crews in my life, and there's a lot
of times whenever dudes have no idea what they're doing.
They're just like, hey, you need to shooting number nine, right,
you go shooting number nine, or you're shooting this guy
and they have no idea. So I'm not saying that's
what happened here, and the producer kind of alluded to
that a bit, But there is a certain angle of, Hey,

(07:16):
this dude's a camera guy. He's not a sports die hard.
So I'm not here to don't put I'm not putting
the Patriots in an area where I'm defitting them right
now because it does seem fishy, and I think the
NFL is going to have to act. But I still
I don't know how much we truly learned from the
back and forth between the Bengals personnel and the Patriots
guy outside of the Patriots guy really tried to do

(07:36):
what he could to make that disappear. You better believe it.
And you know, people say, well, they should know better,
they should know better. You know the rules. Belichick knows
the rules, and this wasn't a Belichick thing. And and
I'll tell you this, Chris, You've been to obviously a
lot of practices, whether it's Oklahoma or NFL or you know,
you've you've been on the sidelines. I I've you know,
when ahead and used to see the Cardinals practice up

(07:59):
in Flagstaff and I remember one time, and I've been
there a lot. I've been to a lot of practices,
and I remember they blew the whistle practices over and
I just started walking from the sideline to start, you know,
talking to some of the players, and everybody starts screaming
at me, what are you doing it? Don't cross that line?
What do you do it? What do you do it here? Yeah,
you forget that you're not allowed to cry until the

(08:22):
players come up, and I got it ere full on.
That's so sometimes you just forget what you're doing and
you just go about your thing. I'm not I'm not
saying that excuses them, Chris, but uh, you you know
as well as I know, there was nothing on that
that tape that was going to help Outcheck at all.
So I guess my question tonight is for those of
you that want to dwell on that and make it

(08:42):
a topic outside of games on the field, which we
easily could if we wanted to. Did what you saw
in the video? Did j Glazers incredible report. Did it
sway your way of thinking? Did it change kind of
your mindset about uh intent or what they really gathered
or not? Because I guess from my perspective, it didn't

(09:03):
really change how I felt about it because I kind
of felt it was an innocent, innocent mistake. But it's
also it's the Patriots, and anytime something like this happens,
especially whenever we got a little downtime news wise, you
know where we kind of have a feel for what
the playoffs are gonna look like. There's not a big
battle going on for a final spot where we think
a team could get in that could win the Super Bowl,

(09:23):
right I mean, you even have it that we'll talk
about later. You got eight teams you think can win
the super Bowl right now. College football is over. We
got three weeks until we get to the playoffs. So
this seemed to be almost a perfect storm of content
for guys like you and I in here on f
and I think it was by FIO pro football Talk
dot Com saying that the NFL, I'm really gonna hammer
this time with a big fine. Um, that's what I

(09:44):
would do, big fine, And I'll go back to what
I originally said here's a big fine, and knock it off.
You don't we don't think you did anything wrong. But
the third time, you don't know, you don't want to
know what we're gonna do, So knock it off now
because uh, the third time, we're really were gonna go
ahead to have her here. So that's that's what I
would say, come up with like a million or two
and a half million dollar fine. By the way, real quick,

(10:07):
before we segue through that other big kind of non
football related story. The Steelers are playing for the game here.
Uh it is fourth down in seven. They didn't quite
get true depending on where you view with the red zone,
they didn't quite truly get inside the twenty yet. So
it's fourth down in seven. Two minute warning just expired.

(10:28):
Buffalo leads this game seventeen to ten. Buffalo has got
a big one coming up next week with what New England.
Uh they win there, they're going to the playoffs Pitchport
fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive, and we keep
getting time out after time out here is the bill
is just called a time out. So let's get to
the coin toss controversy. Then hopefully we'll have some conclusion
with the final two minutes left in this Bill Steelers game.

(10:50):
But thank you, thank you, lead lap. They clinch with
a win tonight. Buffalo clinches a playoff spot with a
win tonight, as what San Francisco did with a loss
today in Seattle did with the win. What a crazy
finish there. But Arnie, how about the NFL on the
flip side, getting something right? Getting something right? Twitter was
a buzz with humorous antidotes, fingerpointing, calling out the whole

(11:11):
Dallas Cowboys franchise when in the end they actually got
it right. And I know it's it's easy. They can
be uh kind of a punching bag, if you will,
at times with the decision making process. But I give
a big thumbs up to the NFL. Then went back,
looked at the tape and realized our man said defer,
he didn't say kick. It's Dallas Cowboys football. So I

(11:34):
thought they were being a little bit, uh too precise
on that. Anyway, that was the other big non football
story today, And I didn't know if that affected you anyway.
If you're saying the NFL got it right, you gotta
be careful, you know, you gotta. By the way, the
Bills are gonna win the game, but you gotta be
careful what you just said. I've seen, we've had, we
had coin flip controversies before UM with the Pittsburgh Steelers, remember,

(11:54):
so you know on what they call him. I can't
believe that this still happens, UM, but it does is
And you know, could you imagine getting the ball twice? Uh?
I can understand kicking you off. Somebody did purposely want
to kick off I think in overtime because of weather
related stuff, and that ended up backfiring. But you got
to kind of use common sense in this situation. Or
do you you mentioned common sense? Yeah? Great. The thought

(12:18):
was that what they didn't want to be going into
the sun in the fourth quarter or something of that nature.
And that's where maybe the confusion had come in. I
think Doc said that he was so pupped up he
wanted to get his defense out there first. So that's
what he meant to say, that he wanted to defer, uh,
which he said twice. So thank you to the NFL
for getting it right. You heard already mentioned it. Uh.

(12:39):
Barring a fumbled snap with only two time outs left,
Buffalo will take over on their own twenty yard line
after Duck Hodges was intercepted again my Bills and apparently
he missed a wide open James Washington in the corner
of the end zone. There's uh just under minute fifty

(13:01):
left now minute forty nine to be exact, Pittsburgh has
used to time out. They've got one left. Buffalo leads.
It's seventeen to ten. Could be the Canon four next
week if they beat New England, then they'll be tied.
They'll have tied in knee head the head. So I
not sure who gets the tiebreaker, but it goes the
common opponents. Um. I know the Bills had lost to

(13:22):
the Ravens, but so did the um Patriots. But I
have to figure that out. I'm not sure who would
get the tiebreaker. Then figure that tiebreaker out. Arnie Durry
thats the s He's got to do something. Yeah, outside
of getting us updated on everything going on in sports,
Ernie rights right off the top of the show. By
the way, it's the best way to stay in touch
with us tonight on Twitter. I'm at Plank Show. Arnie

(13:42):
is at stinking genius. Want s T I N K
I N genius in the number one and everybody should
be following us at Fox Sports Radio, Ernie writes, Well, Arnie,
it's a shame that all your teams suck, but hey,
if the Bills pull it out tonight, who knows, it
could be the newly wed game all over for you tonight.
So you got that going for you. Yeah, it does
kind of suck that all my teams are bad, you know,

(14:04):
it just takes all the fun away once the season starts.
I got nothing the root for except for my Arizona
Wildcats basketball. But my wife's a big Bills fan, so
I'm gonna have to hop on that bandwagon. Yeah. Well,
it's a fun team to watch right now, and for
the second time in the front of a national audience,
the Bills are showing up. When we come back to
the Geico Fox Sports Radio studios, we should be able

(14:25):
to recap Sunday Night football and we'll lay out what
we learned in week fifteen of the NFL. Next with
Annie and Plank on Fox Sports Radio. Well, you just
thought it was over when we went to a commercial break,
but it may be over now as we welcome you
back to clocking it on Fox Sports Radio. Oh my gosh,
Duck Hodges is having all kinds of issues here. Pittsburgh

(14:49):
got the ball back in a record time. You're a
little bit ahead of me, so I'm getting to see
the throne of the end zone and yet another interception
in the end zone by the Bills. Your feed was
ahead of Oh I would that would have been great though,
if we had the same feed and you're like, it's
gonna be another end zone interception and boom, it actually happened.

(15:09):
So no, I'm not kidding. During the break when we
went back, Pittsburgh got the football back. Our part of
the party. Buffalo got to football back up to the
end zone interception with like what a minute thirty five
left in the game or something like that. And I'm
not kidding. I felt like I went to the bathroom.
I came back and Pittsburgh had got the ball back
with thirty five left in the game. It was almost

(15:31):
as if they played all right, give back and they
only had two time outs. So I have no idea
what happened, but I guess in the end it works
out the way that we thought it was going to.
Aren't big win for Buffalo here tonight, it is, you know.
One of our listeners, Ralph sent us in that says,
if we're going to Buffalo finished with the same record,
New England onto the tie breaker based on record verse
common opponents. Buffalo lost the Philadelphia and Cleveland, both of

(15:54):
whom the wing on beat and the Ravens, who knew
England lost to common wins. Bill's beat was Incinnati, making
Buffalo three and one New England are three and one
verse common opponents. That's a lot to find. How how
thrown off was I by that quick exchange. It was
a very quick exchange on the last Buffalo possession because
they took all of about twenty seconds off the clock. Yes,

(16:17):
Pittsburgh used its final two time outs, but there was
a Buffalo holding call right before the punch on the
third down play, so instead of just the clock running
another thirty forty seconds, yes, Pittsburgh got it with plenty
of Yeah, no time outs for the final drive, but
got it with plenty of time and started up near
midfield after the punt was touched. And yet Duck Hodges
winds up throwing his fourth interception of the evening, and

(16:40):
by the way, four the Buffalo Bills in this game.
Dredavious White with two more picks that gives him six
today for the Patriots. Stephan Gilmore had two picks that
gives him six. Buffalo's win tonight clinches a playoff Berth.
New England's win today clinches a playoff Berth, and of
course Baltimore in Kansas City had each already clinched their divisions.
Why and looked this up real quick? The Buffalo turnover

(17:03):
margin in twenty nineteen is uh, It's pretty impressive what
they've been able to do defensively in forcing turnovers so
far this season. It's the opposite of the Bengals and Chargers. Basically, Well,
I know, it's been a tough day for the fans,
Jason said, a plank that dope stinking geniuses is qualified
to be a radio host as Duck Hodges is to

(17:24):
play quarterback in the NFL. He's not bad, is he.
I mean, I'll take that wallet third stringer. That's pretty good.
Four picks, four sacks, one of those kind of games.
What about the earlier games I played? I played, well,
didn't I come on? Now? So they forced they picked
four passes off, which means that this season now Buffalo

(17:48):
has intercepted thirteen passes. I thought that was an incredibly
high number until I looked around and saw what New
England had done this year. New England is plus twenty
four into and over differential misleading nine, very misleading. How
so well? They played the Dolphins when the Dolphins were
a high school team back then, so they're good now

(18:09):
the junior college team now, yeah, they're up to junior college.
They were picking off the Dolphins like they have like
seven interceptions just in the fourth quarter alone in that
game for tonight by the Buffalo Bills won by Josh
Allen It and a nearly costly fumble as well too.
But by the way, Bernie just sent me the line
on the Patriots Bills game for next week just came out,

(18:31):
And what is it? You want to guess? Um? Well,
seeing that he copied me in the text as well,
you already know then for crying out loud, I would
probably say, what about a seven point spread? You're so
good at seven favor of the New England Patriots? Did that?
Did that surprise you a little bit? Did that seemed
too high? Um? No, I guess the Patriots get what

(18:53):
three and a half the four for home field, and
I would have said, maybe there are two point favorite.
I probably would have vot ended up in six six
and a half to get under that number and see
if it crawls over. That's the Vegas thing. How much
money they're gonna get. I am surprised it came to seven,
not because of the uh you know it was a
big number, just because it went over the six and
a half. Uh. And we're gonna be talking like a

(19:15):
gambler as you been doing the show with r J Bell.
You should, you should. I would imagine he would love
to hear your long shot every single day. I don't
think he liked that. I don't think you don't think
he'd like here and you go, you know, I really
like the Bengals. I heard you picked the Bengals last night.
Huh uh, Paul, the Bills are? I didn't one of
your Twitter friends did Boom? The Bills are in the playoffs.

(19:37):
We didn't even need Andy Dalton this time. Yeah, I
mean two years ago. I guess that would be three now.
When the Bills made the playoffs. They needed that wild
comeback by Cincinnati in order to be Who's in Baltimore
on the final Sunday of the season. They had a
bit of a rough campaign in two thousand and eighteen.
But Arnie, I mean, this is this is as solid

(19:57):
of a team that we've seen when given the opportunity
defensively in the NFL this year. Now they they've got
some more to do on offense, and I understand Singletary
is pretty special. I liked their offensive line. I don't
I don't know. Do we have a stringer tonight at
the game Lee in Pittsburgh or no, because we could
probably end up getting my man Cody forward on because
he's done a really nice job on the offensive line,

(20:18):
But no stringer tonight. I heard him. I know, I'm sorry,
but it's uh, it's kind of interesting to see how
Buffalo has got it done this season because if you
look at that stat line, thirteen of twenty five for
a hundred and thirty nine yards, that's not huge and
and a turnover it's not usually a winning stat line
for a quarterback. And they didn't run the ball necessarily

(20:41):
all that well tonight too. But you forced four turnovers,
you get four sacks. Are getting done with defense. I
think they're gonna be a problem in the playoffs, you
know when you first said that. Later on we'll go
through the eight teams I think that could win the
Super Bowl. That was originally seven teams, and we forgot
to put Buffalo in there last night when we were
talking about them. But I said, do you hear that
tour as he goes here? What I go? That's all

(21:02):
the yelling for people in Buffalo saying what the heck
about us? Um? So then we change it to eight teams,
and rightfully so, because the bill should be in that
in that conversation. You know what, I think I might
add a ninth team as well up here just a bit,
because I bet you left out a team that I
think can make it to the super Bowl. Nowins with
that absolutely? Arenie what we learned Before we get to

(21:26):
say grain here, let's geit a couple of quick ones
and we'll continue after the bottom of the hour update.
But what did we learn in week fifteen to the
National Football League season? Guy to maybe save their season,
destroyed their season? What was your big takeaway from Sunday?
My biggest, well, the biggest takeaway or just what I
learned is I mean, I learned the whole bunch, But

(21:47):
what I ordned was when the Cowboys are on their game, Um,
they're a team that could still go ahead and make
a run at the super Bowl. They look good today
against the Rams. I'll say to myself, who is this
team out there? And they are dominating? It was over
at halftime and the Cowboys look like a completely different
team than we've seen in the last three or four

(22:08):
or five weeks out there. Wow, I like this version
of the Cowboys. Now I feel good about making that point.
Yeah my Cowboys, Bobo. Uh? Is that not enraging to
hear art? Arnie sweat out will fly to Vermont tomorrow
and chop you in the throat. Don't you not ever
in your life claim my team again? Because because listen

(22:31):
to you your seven and seven and what's your team? Three?
And just that's the thing is already had dumped on
the Cowboys for the better part of the last three weeks.
Now he's suddenly they have a good performance and he
builds them up. But I'd be on cloud nine if
I was a Cowboys. I mean, I'm still excited, but
I mean it is what it is. I don't know

(22:52):
what next week is gonna do for us, but Arnie,
just don't do it. Our record is better than both
of your NFL team, So just not right now, please
please God. No. UM. I wanted to add what I
learned this week is that maybe maybe Jamis Winston does
have a home. We'll talk about that. You know, I

(23:13):
was gonna say that, but you said what impressed you
the most, so I changed it. I was going to say,
if I'm looking for a quarterback, it might be Jamis Winston.
That was the first thing I was gonna say. Well,
we'll dive into that next, but first Steve to say,
because I wouldn't give the night off sports radio studios
working here despite the fact that you're on this show.

(23:33):
By the way, you're off. Yeah, you have no such
power that your Dolphins are only three and eleven, so
let's not oversell them and they get to host the
Bengals next Sunday. Yeah, Miami lost at the Giants today.
Big loss by My Dolphins lost nine straight game. You know,
Eli Manning is throwing an interception against every team in
the league. Now we moved up in the accept Genants,

(23:54):
of course, but because of that loss, I think, and
you mentioned that Jamis Winston. At one point I looked
up and it was late first half. Tampa Bay's quarterback
had nearly three yards passing and David blou for Detroit
had two. Yeah. The final was Tampa Bay winning and
the Lions have lost seven in a row. Tonight's game
clinches a playoff. Firth for the Buffalo Bills ten points

(24:16):
in the fourth quarter and they went at Pittsburgh seventeen
to ten. The Bills on the road are six and
one this year, and there was a touchdown run another
from the quarterback Josh Allen just hit his first two
seasons with the franchise. He has seventeen rushing touchdowns. Only
two other Buffalo Bills in history have had more than
that in their first two seasons. And of course we've

(24:36):
still got a couple of games to go in this
season and that Buffalo game at New England. Remember is
this Saturday. There are three NFL games this Saturday. In fact,
Saturday Night is Rams at San Francisco Wild One in
the Bay Area. Today, Atlanta scores three touchdowns in about
the last five minutes to win two. Meanwhile, Seattle won
it's game at Carolina thirty four. Carolina has lost six

(25:00):
in a row. Minnesota and Jacksonville with road wins. Arizona
beat Cleveland thirty four. Kenyan Drake of the Cardinals four
touchdown runs. Dallas is seven and seven after beating the
Rams forty four to twenty one. Ezekiel Elliott over a
hundred yards rushing two scores. Tony Pollard on twelve carries
for the Cowboys had a hundred thirty one yards rushing
and a touchdown. Todd Gurley eleven carries twenty yards. The

(25:23):
Rams loss clinch playoff berths for Seattle, San Francisco and
green Bay all in one fell swoop. Green Bay has
won three in a row. They're eleven and three. They
beat the Bears in the cold twenty one and yes,
there's still a game ahead of Minnesota. Green Bay is
in the division. Green Bay seven and one at home
and of course playing at home in about fifteen degrees today,

(25:45):
Kansas City and UH Philadelphia with wins. Houston one at Tennessee,
and New England was a winner thirty four thirteen at Cincinnati.
Online car shopping can be confusing, not anymore. With Trew
Price from True Car now you can know the exact

True Card it went joy a more confident car buying experience.
Everything's final in the NBA. The Lakers held on to

(26:07):
win in Atlanta one on. The Lakers have won seven
in a row there twenty four and three overall, and
that includes fourteen and oh outside of Los Angeles. Lebron
James thirty two points, thirteen rebounds, seven assists, Nicks lost again,
Golden State lost again, New Orleans lost again. That's twelve
losses in a row, and of course Atlanta, with a

(26:28):
horrible record, lost again that matchup with the Lakers. The
update on Luka don Citch of the MAVs. He sprained
ankle last night, might only miss a couple of weeks.
And you guys were talking about the coin toss that
was seemingly boxed at Dallas today. It reminded me of
another game in Texas about five years ago U C
l A against the Texas Longhorns, where l A won
the toss, deferred the choice, and then Texas with the choice,

(26:52):
therefore said we'll kick off, so they wind up kicking
off to start the first half and kicking off to
start the second half. I remember that week strong Magic
that was one of his first big moments against U
c l A. I think that might have happened to
u c l A At a game where they were

(27:12):
late coming out from halftime and the guy that was
supposed to call it to make the deferred choice wasn't
on the field yet, so was he taking self He's
some nimrod was it midfield representing the team and did
the same thing, and I had to kick off. There's
a very famous a FL championship game where they won
the cost for a toss for overtime. I think it

(27:33):
was in the Chiefs franchise back in the sixties, and
the guy won the toss and he said, we'll kick
to the clock. Wait a minute, you don't want the
ball in over time. And the wind also, it was
just why don't you just say heads? The home team
gets it tails, the visiting team gets athletes with choices.
This is getting too difficult, way too much. You know,
they've actually has good stuff to say. As would come

(27:54):
to the live from the Geico Fox Sports Radio studios.
It's easy to say fifteen percent or more on car
insurance with Geico, go to Geico comm are called seven Auto.
The only hard part figuring out which way is easier.
You know, I've fortunately been the part of hundreds of
coin tosses, and the the officials, the referee that actually
tells the guys makes it almost idiot proof anymore to

(28:15):
where he goes or do you want to wait till
l after the second half and defer they they really do.
I mean every it's almost as if and sometimes it's
it's the the OU logos on one side and the
OSU logos on the other side, so they take that
out of it. But man, the simplest things, guys that
we can find us screw up in football. We typically

(28:37):
do what's to catch, replay, pass interference, feeding bounds and
now the coin toss. But kudos in the NFL for
getting that one right. So before we get back to Twitter,
really good stuff rolling in as thinking genius wanted Plank show.
Before we get to John middle Coffe's coming up later
next hour, Arnie, we were talking about what we learned,
maybe kind of as a as a dovetail off, that

(28:59):
kind of what stood out to us as well too,
and I brought up how impressive over the last four
to five weeks that one Jamis Winston has been out. Now,
granted there's still been a few picks. He had a
three interception game last week, but those numbers are down
from a turnover perspective, and the Buccaneers have won four
straight games five of their last six. They're not going

(29:20):
to factor in the playoff conversation, obviously, But but but
is there a chance that maybe this guy could be
bruce Arians choice long term in Tampa Bay? Could he
have saved his career over the last few weeks. I
wasn't thinking of that. I was thinking more like if
I was a team looking for a quarterback next year,
I'm like, Okay, maybe I don't want to go with

(29:41):
the rookie was we're a little bit further along. Maybe
I could use somebody like a Jamis Winston. Maybe somebody
like in the Chicago Bears. Even though Tramiskys played well
uh in three of his last games before this one
against Green Bay. And you're thinking, okay, Jamis, maybe you
don't have to do it by yourself. Let our defense
help you. It's not like you've had a great defense
in Tampa. And you know, instead of the four touchdowns

(30:01):
win interception, how about three touchdowns, no interceptions and don't
force everything out there? Or there's other teams maybe the
Charges would be interested in him, and um I think
he's resurrected his career. I don't know if he's resurrected
his job though in Tampa after this year. I think
he has. I think he has. I think with Bruce
Arians a guy that and again we'll see. I mean,

(30:23):
time's gonna tell on this, but I think they're gonna
be more willing to commit to him, depending on how
the draft plays out, too. I don't think they have
to make it a well, they might have to make
a decision before the draft, but even if they do,
I mean, Arians, if he gets comfortable with him and
he sees him making progress, I mean, the dudes thrown
for what four hundred yards now for fifty eight this

(30:44):
today and the win over Detroit, even though Detroit's past
defense is abysmal. Uh, four fifty six last week against
Indianapolis through for three thirteen and back to back weeks
against Atlanta New Orles. He's putting up big numbers. So hey,
maybe he's your guy in Dallas, Arnie, if maybe you're
maybe he's your guy in Pittsburgh. If Ben doesn't lose

(31:05):
some weight. Huh he did. Uh. He looked like he
was enjoying a little bit of time away. From the game.
But I'm not here to judge. I'm not here to judge.
Uh So, yeah, that I learned that this weekend, and
I think I'm on board here with Eddie, who hit
us up on Twitter and said, what I learned, Jared
mere Kat golf is the second coming of Jim Everett
when facing any kind of pass rush. I mean, wow, Artie,

(31:30):
how did that thing gets? Well? First of all, got
so out of hands because the Cowboys finally played a
complete game and they had what Tavon Austin who was
opened by like thirty yards at one point, but forty
four to forty four to last week, we sat here
after they beat the Seahawks and it put together what
three wins in their last four games, back to back wins,

(31:51):
and we declared him back right, the Rams are back
and they get beat by what four scores by the
Dallas Cowboys. Holy small, that was impressive today from Dallas.
And if you would have told me that, and if
I would have told you that that only had a
little bit over two hundred yards passing and they would
put forty four points on the board, you would haven't
stop it. Now, come on, maybe what did the defense

(32:12):
pick like four off and running back for touchdowns. But um,
good game by Dallas. They finally showed up, and uh,
it's gonna be a great battle. I went to have
Philadelphia next week, right, so that's gonna be for the division.
By the way, we're gonna be stuck recapping that Almighty
Chiefs v. Bears game on Sunday Night football next week
because they decided not to flex anything out to us

(32:34):
of interest Sunday Night. Like I don't know, I don't know.
It made zero sense to me. Maybe they're trying to
take things a little bit more seriously in those afternoon
windows because they do have so many key games on Saturday.
Like the SEGA brought up that Bills New England game
is a Saturday. They can't flex a Saturday game out
the Sunday night, right, That's not possible. Well, but keep

(32:55):
in mind what they did is they made the decision
and the Sager can correct me if I'm wrong or not,
but they made the decision to pick these three games
for Saturday games just a couple of weeks ago. So
I didn't know that. So if I remember, if my
memory serves me correct, these weren't Saturday games to start
the season. These were Saturday games that were chosen to

(33:16):
effectively fit into these NFL network windows a couple of weeks. So,
are are you trying to tell me they didn't want
to put Bill's Patriots, but they didn't want Bills doing
back to back Sunday Night? Are you? Are you trying
to tell me that Cowboys Eagles for the division, regardless
of the record, wouldn't have drawn in some some great ratings.
Why wouldn't they flex that one out over Chiefs? Fair?
I know the Sunday night flex rules. You can only

(33:37):
flex a Sunday afternoon game into Sunday Night. Okay, there
you go, So they can always still them the Cowboys Eagles,
and the whole six days in advance. That's only for
the last day of the season before that has to
be twelve days in advance. You make the decision? Is
that the game you want for Sunday Night? Really? Okay?
I was curious why I was seeing so much today
that the NFL has decided to keep the Bears and

(33:58):
the Chiefs on Sunday Night football be is I kind
of thought you would have had to have made that
decision already twelve days, But I think it's not cold enough,
so let's wait till the nighttime to make it really.
In other words, once we get to the final week
of the season, they could say, Hey, that Houston Texans
Titans rematch, we want that to be Sunday night. Maybe
they can just select that with only six days notice

(34:19):
because it'll be week seventeen. And I also think that
the Dallas Philly game AREN'TI uh stays in that afternoon
slot on Fox because I'm willing to bet with Arizona
and Seattle as its only competition on Fox and your
other two three o'clock games being four teams that aren't
going to the playoffs, with the Raiders traveling to l
A to take on the Chargers and what the Lions

(34:41):
battling the Broncos, Yeah, you probably will just take your
take your chances with Fox having that game going out
to the rest of the country. So uh schedule set
for next week with the three Saturday games, no flex
on Sunday night, and then obviously, as the saga brought up,
Week seventeen, could have that Sunday night game as the
Titans and the Texans. All right, when we come back
to the Geico Fox Sports radio studios. Let's continue to

(35:04):
debate and kind of discuss some of the things we
learned here in week fifteen, and also the fallout, the
fallout from the big win tonight by the Buffalo Bills.
Next with Arnie and Plank on Fox Sports Radio, We're
coming to you a lot tonight from the Geico Fox
Sports Radio studios. It's easy to say fifteen per cent
or more on car insurance with Geico. Go to Geico

(35:25):
dot com or call eight hundred nine four seven Auto.
The only hard part figuring out which way is easier.
John Middleclough coming up in less than an hour from now,
So hanging with this, we'll get great perspective from the
host of the Three and Out podcast here on the
Herd podcast network you can find on I Heart Radio. Um,
did you happen to hear any of Mike Rabels post

(35:47):
game the Tennessee Titans had football coach? I couldn't imagine
if you do happy, what did you have to sell?
So there was a moment late and I guess, I
guess a lot of people in titan Land made me
a bigger deal out of it than Rabel did, because, uh,
when the late in the game very late in the game,

(36:09):
seconds left, the Texans had to punt the ball away.
Le Shawn Sims fielded the ball instead of letting it
go into the end zone. I saw, all right, uh
here here's Mike Rabel being asked about it after the game.
That ball come. There's a lot of plays in that game,

(36:31):
and whether the balls on the twin I mean, I'm
fitting that you would ask that question, Paul, that if
all those plays in that game walking in here where stretched?
I said, one idiot is going to ask me that question, Like, okay,
whether it's on the twenty yard line or the eleven
yard line, Like, let's go back and talk about the game, Paul.
I don't think Rabel had a much thought on that.

(36:55):
It did kill. I think it killed like eleven seconds
or maybe not as much, maybe a little bit less
than at Um. In his defense, though, I will say this,
when he fielded the ball, I think it was like
the one yard line. Um. There were two defenders on
each side of him, So maybe he's thinking, I'll just
take this right up the middle. Um, there's two gone.
That leaves nine more. I'm trying to make a play. Um. Look, obviously,

(37:18):
hindsight and it was bad, but if he runs it
out to the fifty yard line, it's not so bad.
But it was really the time on the clock that
it was killing um. And I think he could, like,
as I said, ten eleven seconds. So that's that's the
bad part of it. I think you're more and again
I'm not trying to be a genius on this, but
I think you're more apt to get a big special
teams play on that. Then you already hit a big

(37:39):
pass play at the twenty yard line. But I mean,
we are talking about it a Titan team that's pulled
a lot of things out of their backside so far
this season. So whom am I who? Do it down?
And then they kept lateral lateral ng it. Oh that
was the end of the Bears game. Yeah, they almost
got that one more lateral. They were down at like
the three or four yard line. If the guy throws

(38:00):
it one more time, he had a guy open to
the right, he would have scored easily. So all they
needed was one more pitch. It was. It was comedy
hour afterwards at lambeau Field with one Matt Lafleur talking
about that last play that probably could have end into
the Bears having a chance to go for two to
tie the game's pretty interesting. I think I blacked out
there for a second. There's something laterals, Yeah, I couldn't tell.

(38:23):
I was just hoping that somebody was gonna gonna make
the tackle. And then it looked like at the end
there that the ball went forward. So that was a
little bit of a sigh of relief, and I think
we ended up recovering the football anyways, But that was
that was a nail buyer player, that's for sure. He
had he had some room. Did want Allen Robinson down
the sideline on that Holy smokes, and he had to

(38:45):
just one more pitch because you're right. He gets it
to him and he walks on in after that, and
then we had two plays that again, Bernie's coming up
later in the show, so we may save our conversation
about the goals fumble return for a touchdown and then
and then the fumble returned by Atlanta. I guess a

(39:07):
touchdown late by Atlanta that gave them an opportunity to
win that game, which they did. I mean, wow. Uh.
Two wild finishes between the Falcons and the fort and
then of course the the Eagles and the Redskins though
the Terry McLaren is the real deal, by the way
for the Redskins, But I didn't see them rolling down
the field with seconds left to tie that game. I

(39:28):
can't even imagine what it felt like, Arnie, to be
one of those cats. Had had an underticket on that
game and you lose it on the quarterback trying to
throw an underhanded pitch and then what who Bradham took
it back to the house for the touchdown. What a heartbreaker. Yeah,
both games were like that. I was watching thinking that way.
It didn't affect the line, I believe in either game,

(39:48):
but it didn't affect the over under, and that was
the killer the Redskins. The wait a, but they were
a six and a half point underdog in that game.
Oh and so it did affect the Redskins. That's right,
that's right. If you had the Skins plus six and
a half, you were in great shape until that fumble
was returned from If you had the under in the
Niners game, you were set until that was crazy down

(40:09):
by Atlanta, which was absolutely insane. Oh and then I
had I had one more tweet here that I wanted
to get because there are many that think, Arnie, you
are You are a shill for the New England Patriots.
Now lead this to the top of the r for
you to think about it. What a complete and total
cop out, Arnie. If the Patriots do it again for
the third time, You're really going to be in trouble?
Are you kidding me? The Patriots are like the Donald

(40:31):
Trump of the NFL. The media is a joke hashtag privilege.
I'll let you gonna take away a couple of milk
from him. What do you want when we come back,
We'll go all in on week fifteen. Next with Arnie
and Plank on Fox Sports Radio. All right, let's go
our to already in Plank on Fox Sports Radio, Bobo
on the Wheels of Steel, lead a lap producing a

(40:53):
great show. We got John Middlecoff in the three and
I pod in about thirty minutes from now, and Steve
to Seger on updates as we come, he alive from
the Guy go Fox Sports Radio Studios. Fifteen minutes could
save you fifteen percent or more on car insurance. Visit
guy dot com for a free race. Well, so did
you miss college football yesterday or anything? I know you
said you went shopping, but did you did you shopping? Artie?

(41:16):
I was forced to go shopping. Difference between going and
being forced to go in my wife. I just want
to say that since we did have the day off,
and Torres and I were doing the show last night
and he's asking me, well, so do you miss it?
I said, you know, I I missed the game obviously. UM.
I used to watch Army Navy with my dad because

(41:36):
he just loved that. I mean, it wasn't even so
much the game. It was the pageantry and the the
hooplah before and during and after, and I mean he
ate everything up about that. It was I just enjoyed
watching the game with my dad when he was around. Um.
But I started thinking about this season and I said,
if I was going to grade this season, i'd probably
only given it like a B minus. Um. I think

(41:58):
we've nailed what three of the four teams for the
most part, that we're gonna be in the four team playoff. Um,
we really didn't have any major major up hold on,
hold on, hold on, hold on. You had l s
U in the preseason going to the four team playoff. Well,
once the season started, kind of I do not believe you.
You still hadn't probably getting beat by Alabama, but we

(42:20):
still have the Alabama's, we still had the Clemsons up there. Uh,
you still had Ohio State up there. Ohio State didn't lose,
so there was no upset. Clemson didn't lose. A matter
of fact, the closest Clemson came losing was North Carolina.
Otherwise you know they blew everybody out. Um, you know
there was no upset. Uh with L s U. You
just you didn't am I wrong about this? I don't know.

(42:40):
You tell me I gave it to be minus. Are
you gonna tell you was an a year. I don't
know what you want to give it. No, but I
I think that you got comfortable and how things went
for L. S U or Joe Burrow when you see
how we view them in the preseason. I mean, CBS
didn't even choose any of their games for prime time
this year. They have two choices, and they didn't choose Alabama.
L s U. Um. So, I just we came into

(43:04):
the season talking about how college football had become boring
because oh, we already know it's gonna be Clemson Alabama
and that's no fun. Well, then by the time we
got to two weeks left in the season, people were
grinching and moan. It's like, oh my gosh, I can't
can't be you talk, Cannon. I thought it was. I
thought it was pretty fun drama throughout the season. You
say no upsets, I experienced one. I saw South Carolina

(43:25):
beat Georgia at home. I said Illinois beat Wisconsin. I mean,
I thought we had a fairly good mix. Here's my
big complaint, and I think this is something that maybe
you'll agree with, maybe you won't. I think we lacked
that true maybe one or two power nonconference matchups this year.
You know, every big matchup was seemingly a conference matchup

(43:45):
outside of what Auburn Oregon um. I mean, every big
game was either oh, I don't know, Alabama l s U.
I see, yes, I agree with you. You mean like
cross conferences. We I mean we didn't get in the
nonconference season. I'm in years past already. When we get
down to that final team that's battling for the last
spot in the playoffs, you know, we're we're talking about,

(44:07):
well X team did have a win over Ohio State,
or they did be in Oklahoma or whatever it might be.
And you didn't have that this year. In fact, you
didn't have it at all. Um So I don't know.
I just if people were wanting to put Oregon and
on the basis of a game they lost, which still
makes no sense to me. So I don't have a
problem with the B minus. Funny, I think that's I

(44:28):
think that's a fair grade. But I do think, and
we talked about this a lot over the weekend, I
do think from where we thought this was going to
be from a competitive perspective, I thought we ended up
getting a pretty interesting season with even though l s
U was not an unknown whenever it comes to a
playoff caliber team. I mean, Joe Burrow wasn't projected as

(44:51):
the Heisman winner. L s U wasn't projected as a
team that could get this done. So I I like
it from that perspective. But I don't have a problem
with the B minus. I think that's a pretty good grade. Right,
that's still passing. No, I mean, I wasn't gonna give
it any goaler, Like you said, we we did have
one Cinderella. I guess if you want to consider Minnesota, um,

(45:11):
I guess Baylor too, but um, it just it, it
didn't you know, it didn't have that oh that Oh
my goodness, did you see what happened? Not enough? And
I also thought there was not enough top five, top
ten um matchups. I don't know if you usually get
them or what. It seems like we get a little
bit more than we get now. Also, I wanted to
ask you after Joe Burrow, you didn't bring up Joe
Burrow winning the Heisman. Um, you know there is a

(45:34):
guy that didn't play for three years. Um, now you
know obviously has a big year for all issue. I'm
just want to cause this guy gonna be a one
hit wonder or is either real deal? I'm I'm not
even really sure. Yeah, you know, it's very similar from
a path outside of how he was viewed coming out
of high school to Kyler Murray. Because Kyler Murray set
for two seasons before he even had an opportunity to

(45:55):
play for Oklahoma and he only played for one year.
You know, Joe Burrow set for what one one season
at l s U before he got to play, and
set for a couple of years at Ohio States. So
there's a stat out there that it's the greatest one
season turn around for a guy between his junior and
senior season for Joe Burrow going from being pretty good
quarterback to being elite, So I'd be I can't wait, Arnie.

(46:17):
And I'm not just saying this because the Raiders stink,
but I can't wait for the draft process because and
I'm I'm not trying to get away from college football
talk because you know, I could sit here and talk
it all night long if you wanted. But in my
in my mind, I think it's gonna be fascinating to
see how NFL scouts evaluate Joe Burrow. I think mock
drafters are all in love with him going number one overall.

(46:39):
But oh yeah, we're also in that mode where everyone's
going back to school now right Stop at Buckeye fan,
Chase Young isn't coming back to school. Stop at Bama Fan.
All twenty of your all Americans aren't coming back. This
happens every year at this time, and we fall for it.
They're going pro to make millions of dollars and go
in the top ten of the draft. Stop falling for

(47:02):
I was gonna say, by the way, there was a
great tweet out yesterday one of them uh you know,
the uh camp guys for football players put out a
tweet that he got from six years ago, and it says, hey,
can you recommend any camp to go to? I'm a
senior and I'm not getting the following. I'm not coming

(47:22):
up on the radar um. Nobody's interested in me, signed
Joe Burrow. So I know that being serious and it
wasn't a fake tweet. This is when he was when
seventeen years old or something. And I'm saying to myself,
here's a guy that's gonna be the Heisman Trophy winner
or was the Heisman Trophy winner, could be the number
one pick in the draft, and nobody's interested in him.

(47:42):
I mean, you're gonna tell me there wasn't a Rutgers
or somebody that said, hey, get this kid Toll, We'll
make him a four year starter. See that's why teams
that stink remained terrible, because they don't recognize stuff like this.
How does nobody recognize this kid? I have no idea. Okay,
now we could really go deep down the wormhole here tonight.
But Ohio State, from my understanding, gave Joe Burrow a

(48:06):
scholarship somewhat unwillingly, and Arnie, they did let him sit
you know for quite a while, so he but that's
because he got this right. He got hurt the second
he got beat out. Who do you get beat up by? Thought?
Beat out by Dwayne Haskins. So I mean he got
beat up by another first round draft picks. So I
don't know if it was ever going to work for

(48:28):
him at Ohio State. So he had to have another opportunity.
There's a reason why he was tweeting at people. I mean,
Baker Mayfield did have a scholarship offer because he wasn't
the dude that you see now, just like Justin Fields.
Georgia fans are mad. Justin Fields wasn't this guy in Athens.
So I went, we could fall into a wild wormhole
if you just want this entire show to go south

(48:48):
on you tonight, Arnie. But I think it all worked.
I think it all worked out for the better. And yeah,
they trust me. If you don't think, you don't think
Rudgers wished that they might have had an opportunity to
bring him on board and were like Indiana, But you know,
does everybody scouting the same quarterbacks out there? There's one
quarterback and and and the Alabama's and the Arburns get

(49:10):
this guy and you think you're gonna get him. Also,
I don't understand where a scout doesn't come back and say, hey,
I see this kid seventeen. He's under the radar um
nobody wants him. He's looking for a camp to go.
I think he'd be a pretty good fit for us,
since we've won one game in ten years. I think
anybody would be a good fit for us if they
were breathing. So let's look at this kid. You know again,

(49:32):
if you look back, if you look back at when
he was coming out on, if you watched him play,
I think your response would be, that guy's gonna play football.
I guess I gotta be on the swim team or something. Well,
now I could say now, I could say I knew
because he's the number one pick, right. I would also
add to I think I think that it's gonna be
interesting to see what twenty nineteen does college football wise

(49:56):
for the future of playoff expansion, because I think it's coming,
I really do. I don't. I think when you see
these increased nonconference Power five matchups in the future, Aarntie,
I think these are put together in mind with hey
having a better schedule not worrying about maybe losing a
game or two. I think I think at some point
we're expanding to maybe six or eight, But I also

(50:17):
think there's something pretty cool about four. So I I
don't know if TV networks will be rushing to say
we need eight. I don't know if if conferences will
maybe changed kind of their mindset on conference championship games.
But as it stands right now, I think that it
will be interesting to see where we continue this conversation
about six or eight teams in the playoffs going it

(50:37):
will go to eight, which means the conference championships will
all be relevant again and we won't have to say, well,
even if Ohio State loses, they're still in. Even if
Clemson still loses, they're still in. UM that could still happen.
But now that whoever wins that conference championship gets like
an automatic bid, that's what we're going to get. That's

(50:58):
what the people want, that's what the hands want, and
that's what we'll get. That's what I believe. Well, it's
gonna be it's gonna be an interesting offseason for college football,
and you know, it's kind of nice. We don't mess
around too much. We start bowl games next week. Yeah,
I'm not too crazy about the ball games. I'm really not.
I mean, either though, it is interesting to see the
ball games that Notre Dame in Texas are playing in.

(51:20):
You know, it's you're seeing them in bowl games that
you don't typically see them playing. So I think that
will be good for those bowls. And I mean Notre
Dame is playing Iwa State for goodness sakes, I mean
it's is Notre Dame and Iowa State ever even played
each other in college football before in a bowl game?
Who knew? Right? But I'm with you. I don't think
it's a great Bull season, but I'm fascinated by the

(51:40):
by the four team playoff and Bernie Fratto. Actually Bernie
actually has a little college football coming up for us
next hour. But yeah, I just you know, I'm not
winding up to say, hey, Plank, don't bother me. I've
got Liberty in Georgia Southern on my TV, so you know,
please leave me alone today. I've you know, I've got
an important game to watch. Well you know what's you know,
what's gonna be very very interesting on that front is

(52:02):
to see how much it pulls you back in Arnie
if your picks can be saved by a couple of
those games. Maybe if you see a line that's a
little bit out of wax, you gotta I see you,
I see you right now. I gotta gamble. That's the
way way to be interested in these games. B minus
be mine. I don't think I would argue with the
B minus too much. I mean I I don't think

(52:23):
you can look at this and say a plus season
everything was fantastic. That hard college football writers would probably
try to tell you that. But they're out there right
now trying to find out which guy they can put
it number two on their Heisman ballot to try to
seem like they're smarter than the room. I mean, it's
just when when did Heisman voting become I'm going to
find the most obscure person to put on my ballot

(52:45):
and two thousand words why they're on my ballot? I
mean vote. It's not hard. It's not hard to figure
out who the three best players are in college football
or four or five whatever. But I mean, I have
taken the free safety from Clemson is my shot off.
I'm who's the ones that didn't who didn't vote for
Joe Burrow? I need done to step forward. I need

(53:05):
to know who didn't vote for him. Listen, if you
didn't have Joe Burrow number one on your ballot, I
question if you watched college exactly. We can debate whether
or not it's get carried away as a high as
as a quarterback award, but if you didn't have Joe
Burrow on your ballot, you're trying to be too cool
for the room in my opinion. Alright, we we got
a lot of really good tweets rolling in Sean. Listen,

(53:26):
let's have a conversation with Sean right now. Uh, your
Titans lost, shut it. College football talk is here to stay,
and the four team playoff might be as close as
your Titans get to the playoffs. So embrace it, love it,
enjoy it. College football is fantastic. Even though the Bull
season is probably not gonna be stellar this season, I
think the four team playoffs are gonna be fun. And
I think this offseason heading into now, what's going to

(53:48):
be what? Transfer portal season? Arn'tie fake with the white
transfer quarterbacks are going crazy. Transfer portal season is going
to become like a fourth season of college football around here,
and you'll see big names moving all over the place.
All right, good place to leave it. When we come
back to the guy called Fox Sports Radio Studios, we
can talk more college football. But let's uh, let's no, no, no,

(54:11):
come on, let's talk about your Wildcats in the PAC
twelve and how fantastic it is. Hey. When we come back,
let's let's kind of dive into more of what we
learned in Week fifteen of the NFL, but really kind
of setting up Week sixteen and seventeen and who we
see having that leg up not just in the NFC East, Arnie,
but also that final playoff spot in the NFC and

(54:32):
that final wild card spot which is very much up
in the air in the a f C. We'll dive
into it next with Arnie and Plank on Fox Sports Radio.
There seems to be a lot of conversation on Twitter
tonight about a certain game that took place in a
certain city that will no longer house an NFL team
after today. Refuse to talk about it, right, I knew

(54:53):
you were crabbing today. I didn't bring that up. Listen,
let me let me get this out of the way
before I snap. I want to hear something amazing. Discover

There was for Fernando, who writes, it only took you
fifteen weeks to say your faders stink here in will
not make the playoffs. This is from Derek Rights, Hey, Plank,
and Arnie. I don't know how you got dragged into this.
I'm sorry you car fanboys. He got booed off the

(55:40):
field in his final game of the Colosseum because they
couldn't beat the irrelevant Jaguars clowns. You know what, He's right,
you are um. I don't know if i'd boot Derek
Carr for that today, but you should be fired for
being a Raiders fan. Um. Despite the game and today,

(56:00):
the biggest winners are the Raiders, writes CALIBERT finally leaving
that dump of a stadium for Vegas. The biggest losers
the Oakland A's stuck in that dump of a stadium.
It's not really about the stadium. It's more about the fans.
I think more than anyone about the stadium. Right, it's
not the stadium. It's a It's not not that I'm

(56:22):
saying the heartbreak from today, but it's more about the fans.
And then let's see, Oh, bro Brendan Rights didn't stinking
genius called the Raiders my Raiders when they were six
and four. They've now lost four straight games and have
been eliminated from postseason contention. There's some truth to Arnie
being the kiss of Death. If he wants to be that,

(56:43):
he should say my Patriots. That's pretty good at that.
I just here, here's my takeaway from the Raiders game.
Aren't you ready? You can't lose that game. You can't
lose that game. Do you have You have a ten
point lead in the fourth quarter. The Jaguars stink. I
mean I almost want to disband the whole organization for

(57:06):
losing to that garbage pile of a franchise. I mean,
I know, no no offence intended. Jaguar fans, you watch
it every single week. You see this game in the
game out. That's horrific. How can a team with that
talent be that bad and the Raiders lost to them
and lead and you gave up fourteen in the last

(57:27):
quarter to lose it. Crazy. I saw stat, Well, it's
not even a stat. I saw a note that the
Jaguars beat the Dolphins and Dan Marino's last game, that
in in Jim Kelly's last game in Buffalo, they beat
the Bills, and now they beat the Raiders in Oakland's
last game as a home for an NFL franchise. And

(57:49):
are you so excited about the move the Vegas though?
I mean, you just like pumped up. Are you gonna
take the day off and go out there to see
the game or something? I hope? So I was kind
of wanting to go today. I won't lie to you.
I was. I'm hoping there would. In fact, I almost
waiting until kickoff was like, teleportation is gonna happen. I
watched Rick and Morty every Sunday night. Get me to
get me to the oh dot co. But yeah, I'm

(58:10):
I'm I'm excited for them to finally have a home.
I hated that they won't have the black Hole, but
it was it was only fitting that a stadium and
a team that has done nothing for me but break
my heart over the last ten to fifteen years, uh, sixteen, seventeen,
eighteen years, would break my heart again, Arnie. It was

(58:31):
that was the most fitting way to leave the colisseum,
to lose to a trash franchise like Jacksonville or maybe
have a trash team like Jacksonville. With the season that
they've had to show that you're even more trash, which
the Raiders have been over the last four weeks. Of
what they should have done is with about two minutes
left and the Raiders leading cut away to Heidi and

(58:54):
giving us more, there's probably two people listening that get that, Arnie.
Come on, really, I think that the Heidie game. You're
bringing up the Heidie game. I guess I'm sorry, but no,
it was. It was incredibly enraging to watch because it's
almost as if you're watching and in your mind, as
a fan, you say, I've seen this before. I've seen

(59:18):
this act before, not just this year but quite often,
and uh, I just made it for those fansy. How
many people are gonna be coming down from Oakland still
to say it's my Raiders and go to the game
in Vegas. How many people are gonna be driving from
Los Angeles that were a long time Raider fans um
just to go to Vegas every weekend. It's gonna be
crazy out there during one of our summer months, Arnie,

(59:40):
in June or July. We'll have to get someone, uh
with like the Vegas not necessarily Vegas Raiders, but maybe
getting good with with one of Todd Ferman's buddies over
there with the Vegas tourism and uh, I don't know,
Convention Bureau and see kind of what that number looks like,
because I would imagine based on what I think you'll
still see next week when the Raiders playing Los Angeles,

(01:00:02):
I think you'll see a lot of l A fans
that are gonna make that track to Vegas for for
home games. It's not that bad of a drive, I've
been told from l A to Vegas. So there's no traffic,
not whatsoever. It's easier to get in and out of town.
By the speaking of traffic, speaking of traffic, as we
quickly segue through the Chiefs game today and get me
away from this Raiders disaster that was. I loved what

(01:00:26):
Andy Reid had to say during his press conference after
the game because there was one thing they had to
make clear to all the Kansas City players throughout the week. Listen,
there's something put out about our players. Man, I don't
know who put that out. It's kind of bush league.
But the guys were all here on time. Just so
we know that. I want to make that clear. The
fans were unbelievable today. I'm absolutely unbelievable. Someone had reported

(01:00:49):
that players are late because they were having a problems
getting to the stadium. Because I said that, it said
that they were gonna be a little bit late because
they had problems getting to the stadium because of the snow.
I didn't think anything about it. Why is there is
I got? Did he get read get upset about that?
Or what I think from his perspective it if you

(01:01:09):
say a player showing up late, you're questioning his leadership.
So maybe maybe that's the way that he looked at it.
But stop. I mean, if you hear guys are showing
up late, you'll probably say, my gosh, they're out of here.
I mean, you know what he did? You watch the
Twitter reaction to the Cowboys coin toss pre game. Everyone
wanted Jason Garrett fired on the spot because they screwed

(01:01:32):
up the coin toss. So if there was a report
out there that some guys were late, I'm a little
bet there'd be some people that're like Andy Reid just
losing control of his guys right now. But Andy Reid
needs to wait until they lose in the playoffs at
home and then get mad again. That's what he needs
to wait for. But it was a fantastic scene to
see the snow in the way that the Chiefs play today.
All Right, we'll have more from that. Plus Carson Wentz

(01:01:55):
kind of a Carson Wentz like performance, the what we
expect from Carson Wentz. We'll get into that coming up
next with John Middlecoffe. But first, Steve the Sakers in
the house to get us caught up on everything trending
in the world of sports. What's going on, Steve, Well,
the Buffalo Bills have clinched a playoff first for one
to come back when at Pittsburgh seventeen to ten, and
this puts the Bills at ten and four on the season.
That makes nine different NFL teams up to ten wins

(01:02:17):
already this season. Apparently it's only the third time in
NFL history that at least nine teams have gotten to
double digit wins at this point with first fourteen games
that was vent five and seventy six. So it's been
a while we've said this. Actually the last few weeks
is man, it seems like there's a lot of you know,
not a lot in the middle, so to speak. But

(01:02:38):
we're all looking forward to the playoffs because we're going
to get a lot of double digit teams against each other.
As far as these Buffalo Bills, they were actually on
a Sunday night game for the first time in over
a decade, and it's their first Sunday night win since
two thousand. Now that we should have a home playoff game,
that'd be great, but that's not gonna happen unless they
win the division. Well yeah, you see what division they're in.

(01:02:59):
But this Saturday, Buffalo does play at New England, and
again emphasis, that is a Saturday game. By the way,
the Bills, in these near twenty years since they won
a Sunday night game, the Steelers have appeared in almost
forty Sunday night games in those two decades. And then
where do they win tonight? They win in Pittsburgh, granted
against the third string quarterback and Duck Hodges throws four interceptions,
but it all counts, And so realized that from two

(01:03:21):
thousand on the Bills didn't make the playoffs at all.
And now they've made it two out of three years
with Sean McDermott. Very impressive. And did you notice that
tonight at NBC mentioned this the Edmunds brothers three in
the same NFL game for a little bit of history,
one with Pittsburgh and actually two with Pittsburgh and one
plays for Buffalo. And I looked at the final stats.

(01:03:42):
Buffalo's leading tackler tonight Tremaine Edmonds, Pittsburgh's leading tackler tonight,
Terrell Edmunds, who had ten solo tackles. By the way,
Dallas seven and seven and yes, could be hosting a
playoff game. They beat up the Rams one. Dallas is
four now in the division and they play at Philadelphia
neck Sunday on Fox TV. The Rams, and we have

(01:04:03):
mentioned this four straight Sunday nights, are not going to
the playoffs. They don't care if they're defending NFC champs.
You've seen them. We saw them a month ago and
said this, and we said it every Sunday since technically
they're still alive. The chance to go to a five
percent chance, now, yeah, I would put it less than that.
There are two games out with two to play. In
other words, they need to win their last two and

(01:04:25):
the Vikings would have to lose their last two. Bad
news for the Vikings fans. Even though to win today
thirty nine ten over the Chargers running back Dalvin Cook
left with a shoulder injury and the backup running back
Allers Alexander Madison, he's been very good at his first year,
did not play today due to a bad ankle. So
that's something to look towards over the next week or two.
Atlanta with the crazy finish winners at San Francisco. Three

(01:04:48):
touchdowns for the Falcons at about the last five minutes.
Julio Jones had thirteen receptions a hundred thirty four yards
and two scores. He was targeted twenty times in this game.
Jacksonville wins at dal sixteen. Raiders have lost four straight
and yes, this was the Raiders last game in Oakland.
You know, next Sunday the Raiders are at the l
A Chargers and that will be the final NFL game

(01:05:09):
in Carson, California. Chargers temporary home these three seasons. They'll
be moving into the Rams new stadium next year in Inglewood, Arizona,
and New England. With wins Green Band Kansas City as well.
That Ksey game in the snow was Chiefs twenty three
to three. Patrick Mahomes three forty yards passing. Chiefs have
won four in a row. Next Sunday night, it's Kansas
City at Chicago. Houston won at Tennessee one. The Texans

(01:05:33):
have a one game lead over the Titans in the division. Now.
Giants in Seattle each one, Tampa Bay and Philadelphia as well.
Eagles at seven and seven won thirty seven twenty seven
at Washington, Redskins one and six at home this year
three and eleven overall. Terry McLaurin did have five catches,
a hundred thirty yards and a touchdown. In the NBA,
Lakers won their seventh straight one oh one at Atlanta.

(01:05:57):
The Hawks are six and twenty one. New Orleans is
six and twenty one, and they lost their twelve straight game,
lost at home to Orlando today one thirty to one nineteen.
The Knicks are six and twenty one. They lost it
dead tonight, Yeah, keeping one eleven to one oh five,
and Golden State lost again at home to Sacramento this evening,
one hundred to seventy nine. The Warriors record is five

(01:06:19):
and twenty three couple upsets. In college hoops, Minnesota beat
number three Ohio State Wafford one at number seventeen North
Carolina pitcher Madison Bumgardner agreed to her reported five year
deal with Arizona, and Tonight in college football, Auburns Derek
Brown defensive tackle was named winner of the Lot Impact Trophy,
not only because of his defensive excellence but the off

(01:06:41):
the field stuff as well, and reports out of Austin,
Texas say there will be in addition to the Tom
Herman staff with the Long Horns, a new defensive coordinator,
Chris ash who had worked with Herman at Ohio State
and at Iowa State. Of course, bowl games start this Friday.
There are six bowl games this Saturday, in addition to
the three NFL games this Saturday. The Las Vegas Bowl

(01:07:03):
is this coming weekend. Nineteen rage boys he stayed against
Washington number twenty. Appalachian State play Saturday in the New
Orleans Bowl against you A B and final programming note
FS one will add the Holiday Bowl from San Diego again.
That's USC versus IOWA on FS one December. Back to you,
Thanks Steve. John Middlcoff joins us the three podcasts. In fact,

(01:07:23):
he's probably already been up taping a podcast with his
buddy Haberman already tonight. Uh okay, So, just I want
to get this out of the way. I'm pulling the
band aid off. How in the world do you lose
that game final game in Oakland? It was almost fitting
to lose it the way that they did, John, But
I mean, has this always been the plan to try
to be better by the time they get to Vegas?
Or is this just a disaster? Dead's a disaster. I

(01:07:45):
mean the way you lose it is you're the Raiders.
They've won, They've had four winning seasons since you know,
they've twenty five years in Oakland. They lose. I mean,
it's what they do. They're they're really good at hes
lose a lot. And you know, I understood the Jaguars.
You could have made the argument coming into the game,

(01:08:06):
like the last three or four weeks, no team had
been playing worse. I mean every time you looked up
at the ticker or the last month, they were down
twenty thirty points to whoever they were playing. They had
been gutless that they had borderlined given up, and then
they were getting kind of killed, you know, relative to
the Raiders. In this game. The Raiders were up sixteen
to three in the second half, and you know, if

(01:08:27):
you're just watching the game, like ot, the Jaguars is
so bad, there's just no way. And there was a
way Gardner mint you led him up to touchdown drive
and the Raiders didn't score any points in the second
half and they lost you basically a walk off touchdown.
It was crazy. John, who was what was the worst
loss in the Bay Area San Francisco forty Niners or

(01:08:49):
the Raiders, I would say is definitely the Raiders just
giving them me the last game in Oakland. They they're
trying to get a little momentum, you know, as they
do this thing that they called the move. Then not
Tiners clinched the playoffs birth today and nothing really changed
because Seattle won. When Seattle lost last week and they
won in New Orleans, the Niners had a buffer game

(01:09:11):
they could lose either this week or next week going
into Week seventeen. Week seventeen at this given. If they
both win next week, it's for all the marble. The
Niners win that game at Seattle, they're the one seed.
Seattle wins that game, there's some tiebreaker there because they
lost the New Orleans right at home, so maybe they
would be the two seed, not the one seed, but

(01:09:32):
both teams that game will be for home fielded by.
I would imagine it's a Sunday night game as long
as you know, the Niners don't lose this week to
the Ramps, then then today the big deal. But as
of right now, I just it was just one of
those a trap game slash. You just didn't mean it.
You know, it's amazing tonight, John, because the Bills are

(01:09:55):
in the playoffs and I remember hearing you talk about
how impressive their defense it was and some of your
early podcasts, and is beyond oppressive, isn't it. I mean,
just to see what they've done sitting here at ten
and four right now, back in the playoffs. Heck, got
a chance to win the division. What a job that
Sean McDermott has done. Well. I was thinking about this,
just thinking about some topics for the podcast this week,

(01:10:16):
and think about the Bills who the majority of Once
that Levy kind of run ended right in the mid
to late nineties, they didn't win from two thousands until
two years ago. They did not make the playoffs that
they were. They were basically like the Raiders and the Browns.
And then John McDermott gets there with Brandon Bean and

(01:10:37):
two playoffs verson in three years. And obviously this year
is a lot more impressive than two years ago. Remember
when they kind of snuck in at the end. This
year has been We're just really good. And the crazy
part about them being really good is their quarterback is
still a big work in progress. You know, he's he's
not the most accurate guy, but he's needed a root

(01:10:57):
for you. Just watching I find my I didn't like
him at all it out of Wyoming, and I find
myself rooting for him. And like you said, their defense
and just the head coach, you just you just really
really impressive. I mean, when you watch the Bills, how
do you not think like this is a team that's
not going away. You know they're they're gonna be around
because the culture of the way they play a little
like it's a little different because Russell was more dynamic

(01:11:21):
even when he was young and not as good. But
remember Seattle early on, they were defense, running the game, run,
run the ball, and just be tough. And that's a
little bit what the Bills got going for him. Bills
play the Patriots next weekend. Who's the better team right now?
Who do you like in that game? You know? I
look up today on the red zone and the Patriots

(01:11:41):
there by like struggling to get a lead on the
bangle and then and then they run away, right Andy
Dalton throws the picks six and you know that, and
then Burkehead buff the run so they win by a
wide margin. And then I'm googling this afternoon or like,
you know, during the Sunday night game, I was like,
what Brady do today? But about back you know, to yards,

(01:12:06):
that to me was pretty eye opening. Number one thing.
You know, you get an easy victory, throw for a
couple hundred yards, Like did they just play the Bengals?
So they got an easy win. Not much has changed,
you know, I don't know if the Bills match up
very well against them, you know, relative because they're passing.
Their passing offense for the Bills is not very good,
and the Patriots secondary is awesome, But how did the

(01:12:28):
Patriots match up well against the Bills that they can't
score it all either? And the Bills defensive dynamite, So
I would lean the Patriots are gonna win, but I
wouldn't count the Bills out. How fascinating did that NFC
East race become today? Carson Wentz looked really good. Eagles
defensive times did not, but I mean Dallas was just dominating.
I know, it's two teams that are at five hundred

(01:12:49):
right now. The NFC has been really good, but Johnna
makes next week kind of interesting, makes the final two
weeks fun for the NFC East and the Cowboys and
the Eagles. Yeah, you know what's crazy. I didn't watch
the day this game, and I threw it on because
I knew we probably bring it up. So I watched
the first half of my iPad right now, and they're
up seven and a half and just killing them, and
you go, I watched a lot of the Eagles game,

(01:13:11):
and like you said, Wentz looks good. These are two
teams and I know most of us, myself included, have
been laughing at the NFC East. But whoever wins this
game on Sunday in Philly is gonna be feeling pretty
good about themselves. And whether it's the Eagle with Wentz
and a couple of tight ends and just playing at home,
or the Cowboys with a bunch of good players, they're

(01:13:32):
gonna go into that playoff game against the Niners against
Seattle and not the I mean, they'll be an underdog, right,
but they'll be They'll be a unique bad team because
they have a bunch of talents. I don't know which team.
Thinking about it, from a Niners perspective, you'd rather play
from the Niners. They're missing the safety with Earth and
God Her, maybe you'd rather play the Cowboys. But Cowboys today,

(01:13:56):
I mean, the Rams have been playing a lot better
than the last couple of week and they destroyed them.
So I don't know this. I actually went from laughing
at this game in Philly like two weeks ago to
thinking like I'm actually kind of excited for Yeah, yeah,
there's no John. The Packers are the worst of leven
th three team I think I've ever seen in my wife?
What am I missing about this team? Is there something
I'm missing here? Or one? Yeah? Say? I'd say the

(01:14:18):
Packers are Seattle to two worst eleven and three teams. Ever,
I'd say the Packers are better Seattle because the Packer
got Rogers and they got a couple of dynamite defensive guys.
I did it. If you look at Seattle's roster, if
they go thirteen and three and or the one or
two teams, that's one of the crazier one and two
seats every like you could, you could take the MVP
argument for Russell alone. On that, I think the Packers

(01:14:41):
I don't love their coach whenever I see him on
the sideline, just I don't really know what he's doing.
I feel like Aaron's running the offense and Tendon's running
the defense. But they still they got a couple of
things going for him, and they got one of the
greatest quarterbacks ever, and their defense really has been a
lot better. And for the most of this year they
have those two Smiths guys they signed this offseason, Preston

(01:15:02):
as this areas. Their secondary is good. But I think
you think when you watch their offense, you go, well,
beside Davante Adams, who do they have And the answer
is not really anybody. But that's a little like Seattle.
When you have a great quarterback. It's like having an
NBA team. As long as you've got Lebron or Kevin Durant,
you could have some other random guys and they overcome it.

(01:15:23):
Now will abide them in the butt, you know, come
the playoffs. That's gonna be fascinating because I think when
you look at the Viking I didn't know this, and
then listening to that update before I jumped on with you,
the sounded like the Vikings has some pretty big injuries today.
I mean, if Dalvin Cook has a serious shoulder injury,
I don't I don't look at them the same. And
even that backup running back they didn't play today, the

(01:15:44):
rookie from Boys, and he's a pretty good player. So
to me, for them to beat the Packers now the
games in Minnesota, Dalvin Cook is their best player, you know,
So that's I look at that game, like, are the
Packers really gonna cruise with that victory because Dalvin's out?
And then they're gonna be the one or two we've
seen maybe, like you said, not really even been that
good all year. It's a weird deal. John, You're the

(01:16:06):
more You're the man. Three Out podcast will drop Tuesday

to you soon. Man, really appreciate it. John middlecough boy,
that that perspective just gutted me. It's what they do,
they lose. They're really good at it. You have loved

(01:16:29):
been out there listening to them leaving the stadium what
they were saying, the Raider fans crying and screaming and
all that. Even ham And can't even fathom it. All right,
We're coming to you live tonight from the Geico Fox

Steve to Seger is in the house after a pretty
wild Sunday night football game. How about this stat for
you to Sega. How about this Arnie. According to Brooke Prior,

(01:17:32):
who covers these Steelers for ESPN former guest on our
show ESPN Stats in Info, uh Devlin Hodges Duck Hodge
just had four interceptions on passes traveling more than ten
yards down field tonight, joining Mason Rudolph as the only
player with four interceptions in a game this season. Oh

(01:17:54):
that's all right, just Steelers teammate. It can only get cars.
You know. The Steelers and started one and four this year.
They had actually won seven of their last eight until
tonight with all this rotating backup quarterback, so it's impressive
they've even gotten to this point. So at the moment,
the Steelers do have the last playoff spot in the
a f C. Because remember Tennessee also lost a game

(01:18:15):
today as well. Steelers and Titans are each eight and six,
and at the moment, the Steelers would get the tiebreakers
and get the last playoffs spot because of conference records.
Pittsburgh at the moment is six and four in conference.
Tennessee is six and five in conference, and it is
looking like Ravens the number one seed and the Ravens.
By the way, it was a Ravens Jets telecast for

(01:18:36):
crying out loud for Thursday Night football and it's still
got over twelve million viewers. That shows you how huge
the NFL is. That was the least watched Thursday night
game of the season for Fox, Jets Ravens and it's
still got I mean, TV shows would kill for twelve
million viewers for their's The NBA that night averaged under
one million for its double header. Just to put it

(01:18:57):
in perspective here, The Monday night and tomorrow was Indianapolis
at New Orleans, final home game of the regular season
for the Saints. They're going to the playoffs. The Colts
have lost five of six. In the NFC playoff picture
at the moment, it could be Saints hosting the Vikings
Minnesota if they're not a division winner, could be the
sixth and final seed in the NFC playoffs. And we repeat, technically,

(01:19:20):
the Rams are still alive, but they're two out with
two to go, and it's probably not going to be
two Rams wins and two Vikings losses, So realistically, the
Rams are not going to the playoffs. But the way
the Seahawks won and what happened around them with that
late San Francisco lost the Seattle Seahawks and the number
one seed right now in the NFC at eleven and

(01:19:40):
three thirty to twenty four was their final. Now technically
they're tied with San Francisco. You know, Seattle went seven
and one on the road this year. San Francisco gave
up the two late tds and lost to Atlanta today,
so that the Niners are This is the first since
two thousand to have a team win ten games at
least in a season but lose three times in the

(01:20:00):
last ten seconds. And that's what happened to them again
today Atlanta. The Minnesota win in l A over the
Chargers was thirty nine to ten, an actual blowout loss.
First the Chargers have suffered this year after all the
ridiculous close losses, which are els they clearly earned as well.
By the way this one, seven turnovers committed by the

(01:20:23):
Chargers in a home defeat. There. In the last two
years of the NFL, there hadn't been a seven turnover
game by any team, and now this year the Bucks
had one, and now the Chargers had won, and the
Vikings with this thirty nine to ten win, that's their
largest victory ever in the Pacific time zone. Or enfranchise history.

(01:20:44):
And you mentioned Jameis Winston early in the show. The
Bucks quarterback is the first player in NFL history with
at least four d fifty yards passing in back to
back games. They got. That is crazy and it's five
times he's thrown for at least three seventy five. It's
like Drew Brees territory in history. Great stuff to Sega, Arnie.

(01:21:04):
We only have one hour left and Bernie is going
to join us in our last hour, plus, I'm gonna
take you through the locker room. Best sound of Sunday,

You hear him Saturday nights. Uh, and he's on with
Arnie on Saturday nights a couple of segments, so an interesting. Hey,
let's talk about some of the bad beats. First of all,
crazy finishes in the Eagles Redskins game and obviously with
what happened at the end of the Niners Falcons game.

(01:22:10):
I guess those are just the ones that when you
win him, you capture your lucky stars, and when you
lose them, you gotta go throw something, right, boy, I'll
tell you. Uh. Some guy named Yogi Berra once said
it ain't over till it's over, and today I don't
think I've ever seen a better example of that. We
can start with that San Francisco Falcons game that everybody

(01:22:32):
saw two touchdowns scored with two seconds to go, and
that that changed it from an under two and over
because the total was forty seven and a half. Now,
that in and of itself wasn't necessarily a huge decision
for the books per se. But there was one particular
better in CG Technology that played a nineteen parlay for

(01:22:55):
two d dollars, which would pay seventy five thousand dollars
if it hit. So let's flip to the other game,
the Eagles miracle cover, and that really hurt the books
because the books really needed Washington, and the books had
all horrible morning because they needed Cincinnati, they needed Carolina,

(01:23:15):
they needed Detroit, they needed Washington. The Eagles get that
cover that enabled that better to win and keep us
Parley alive. And wouldn't you know it that he needed
the over in the forty niner Atlanta game. That two
second decision made that better seventy five thousand dollars and

(01:23:39):
it's incredible and all by the way, there was also
a better at the South Point that put fifty five
dollars on the Eagles minus six and a half eat
cashed as a result of that, and you guys have
had a great children. I'm talking about the Raiders. Well,
the Raiders also weighed in on their ability to affect
the sports books today because there was a better at
the n M Graham that placed the money line wage

(01:24:02):
around the Raiders for three hundred and seventeen thousand dollars.
So when Gardner Minshew did his magic in the end there,
that costs that better a cool three hundred and seventeen
thousand dollars. Any money line on the Atlanta Falcons in
that game done. Oh, there's always players that got the
money line. And as a matter of fact, guys, the

(01:24:24):
Falcons were a sharp play today. And I'll tell you why.
There was a really strong trend against the forty niners.
NFL teams who are coming off a win in which
they surrendered forty or more points the weekend before, and
they fall into that category. They're only thirteen and seventeen
straight up, straight up, eleven and nineteen against the spread.

(01:24:45):
And oh, by the way, Matt Ryan in his career
in games in December, it's six and oh straight up
and against the spread when he's getting six or more points.
Both of them came in and when a game like that, that,
by the way, that helped the books. And I'll tell
you line, because when a big favorite like that loses
out right, it busts up a lot of money line
Parlay's and a lot of money and a lot of teasers.

(01:25:08):
So that actually helped the books in terms of the side. Wow. Fascinating,
And I know Arnie already wants to look at the
next week, But Bertie, I'm curious to get your perspective
on what we learned about Philly and Dallas today. It's
been a big topic of conversation to night. I know
there's obviously a lot of conversation still to be had
about how that Red's Kids and Eagles game ended with
the with with the spread, but I just want your

(01:25:29):
opinion from the team perspective. What's caught your eye now
in Philly today? And maybe Dallas might be a fun
finish with this NFC East Well, I think so, And
I think what there's an old thing in the NFL.
They always remember what you did in December. The cream
does right at the top. Give it up to Buffalo,
give it up to Dallas. It was a few good
win because even if they lost today, as long as

(01:25:49):
they beat Philadelphia next week and then beat Washington in
week seventeen, they control their old faith. Interestingly enough, Dallas
opens up as a two and a half point favorite
at Philadelphia next week. But Jason Garrett and his career
in Philadelphia seven and two straight up, and Carson Wentz
is all and three in his last games three games

(01:26:11):
versus Dallas. What I think we learned today is the
cream rises and I think Philly's in a bit of trouble.
Dallas showed that if they decided to run the ball.
This was another real wise guy play today. Because we
talked about this last minute, aren'ty with you? And Aron
of the tickets were on the Rams now. Dallas opened
up earlier in the week. Last week, at this time

(01:26:34):
there were three and a half point favorite. He gets
steamed all the way down, crosses over zero. It got
as far as I think two and a half the
Rams away in two and a half. The wise guys
come in pounded. Jason Garrett has a home dog, has
only been a home dogs six times in his career
five and one now six and one, and so when
a line moves like that six points, you can be

(01:26:56):
sure the wise guys are gonna grab it. And the
books did real well on that one. Bernie explained to
me what I'm you know, because I look up the
lines I go to, like you know, you go to
pregame or go to Vegas and cider, and then I
see the Ram San Francisco opens up and says open
pick them. And then you look at all the other
casinos and it has minus six minus six and a half.

(01:27:18):
The line changed that fast doors. That not the correct
open that I'm reading here. Yeah, that's just a computer list.
That's just the default lists before they backfilled in that field.
Because the line has opened up. The Niners six and
a half point favorite versus the Rams next week, and
we'll see where the market cases. It's a Saturday game,

(01:27:38):
a pretty dawned good Saturday slate next week. As we
have talked about, the line is never a predictor of
an outcome. All the books want to do is create
equal action on both sides so that they can minimize
risk and maximize profit. I think this line is a
right about where it should be. The Rams are not
a playoff team, They're not a good team, and I

(01:27:59):
think is loss hurt the Niners today a little bit. Look,
they're in the playoffs, but they held their own fate.
They got Seattle next week, and if they'd run the board,
they'd have been the number one seed. Now they're looking
at the number five seed and probably having to go
on the road to win a playoff game. So I
think you'll see a very motivated forty team next week.
Bernie Frado is our guest. How hard does it have

(01:28:19):
been for you to handicap New England this year where
you haven't had the best offensive performances Brady struggled at times,
but the defense, I mean the picks so far this
season defensively, how hard had it been for you to
really get a feel for this Patriots team? Bernie, Well, Chris,
ironically not that bad. And I'll tell you why, because
if you're blindly bit Bill Belichick in the last nineteen

(01:28:42):
years or sixty against the number, and we talked about
this last night, what business do they have laying ten
points on the road? Right? Well, what if I told
you in the last six seasons that Bill Belichick has
been a double edged favorite twenty two times, he's twenty
one and one straight up and now eighteen and four.
They against the spread and we both know their offenses

(01:29:02):
and lighting it up, but it's their defense and special
teams and right on schedule. What do they do today.
They get a pick six, they forced a muffpunt, they
turn that into ten points. That gets him to win,
that gets in the cover. The line is about where
it should be next week in New England Lane seven
Buffalo and that number two ranked defense goes into New England. Buffalo.
Is legitimate, but there's no way I'm going against Belichick.

(01:29:25):
You know, Bertie. I tried to tell Chris that if
Stidham was the starting quarterback in the first four teen games,
the lines would not move all that much and the
Patriots would probably still be eleven and three with with
the lines not making that much of a dramatic move
based on power ratings, Arnie, the line would have been
probably about five to six points different every game. That's

(01:29:47):
how much Brady is still worth to the line whatever. Absolutely, absolutely,
But think about Arnie, think about what you're really saying.
Have the outcomes in those games maybe have been that different?
Probably not. We can all see Tom Brady's forty two.
He looks forty two now, God bless him. Their offensive
line stinks. They don't have a running game. They're only

(01:30:09):
averaging three point four yards per carry last year. At
this time, they're averaging four point yards five yards per carry.
That's a lot, so who knows. I mean, look, we
all know that what happened, uh when Brady got hurt
in two thousand and eight, that team won ten or
eleven games at playoffs. So the bottom line is, you know,
they've got a machine there, and as long as they're

(01:30:30):
defense and special teams hold up, they're going to be
a tough out. Brenny, you started looking into the Bull
games yet, I mean, and always we have Bull games
starting this weekend, but big numbers for that Sooner as
Tigers game. I was kind of blown away how big
of a favor was. But I mean, based on watching
all of the pregame shows and listening to the network,
I don't know why the Sooners even show up. I mean,

(01:30:53):
but yes, I don't like I love Oklahoma in this game. Now,
let's start with this. The Sooner. They're a team who
have scored twenty eight or more points in fifty one
straight games. They're led by a quarterback, an experienced quarterback
who's not only been to two National championship games, he's

(01:31:15):
won one. He's still yards this year, completed his passes,
and he's facing a defense that's ranked past defense. The
l s U pass defense is only ranked fifty. By
the way, both teams had a common opponent. They both
played Texas. They both beat Texas by a touchdown. But

(01:31:37):
Oklahoma surrender twenty seven points to Texas. L s U
surrendered thirty eight parlor. Reason this line is thirteen and
a half no instead of ten or eleven, I'm told
is because they're expecting the crowd there in Atlanta to
be pro L s U. But it's still not Tiger Stadium.
I like Oklahoma a lot here, and by the way,
not for nothing, guys. Since this current war Man of

(01:32:00):
the college football Playoff started, no number one ranked team
has ever won at all. We'll see what happens, but
I love the hook Globo Sooners plus thirteen points a
week from next Saturday. And Bernie all this love for
Clemson for crying out loud. I thought the money would
have been coming in in on Ohio State. Well, look,
it's recency bias. People are going to you Gotta remember, Ernie,

(01:32:24):
people who have been backing Clemson. They've been doing nothing
but cash and tickets. After that scare against North Carolina,
I think they covered like eight Nerowe, I'm actually gonna
fire on both dogs. And by the way, if you're
wondering two Bowl games that the Wise guys have fired
on pretty big already as Sumu, they're getting all over
Smu Monastery against Florida Atlantic. The departure of Lane Kiffin

(01:32:45):
to Old Miss has made SMU and Sunny dikes and
they take their Bowl games very seriously as a new
very popular. And I know Arnie your kidding around about
liberty earlier, but you freeze their first ever Bowl game
at bow catching six points against Georgia Southern, and I
gotta tell you, wise guys love liberty in the points

(01:33:07):
in this game. How about that great stuff? Bernie, appreciate it,
will spread the word on Twitter at Bernie Fratto and
can't wait to hear next Saturday night. Thanks for coming
on man, Thanks for having me. Guys, enjoy the rest
of your weekend. Thanks Bernie, dude, Love that dude. Love
Bernie Fratto every single Saturday night, straight out of Vegas.
Right after Arnie and Aaron, I'm sending him a Christmas present.

(01:33:29):
How about that? Look at that? Look at that? All right?
Speaking of Christmas worthy gift recipients, and I say that right,
Christmas gift worthy recipients. Steve de Saga is in the
house for one final appearance. Now will be there next
week to your package. There you go, It's the best
present I got last year. You know. He mentioned the
SMU Bowl game at Florida Atlantic. You'd think f A,

(01:33:51):
you would have this huge advantage. It's in Boca raton
the bowl games at their home field. But if Florida Atlantic,
remember did have their conference title game on their home
field and attendance was only fourteen thousand, So read into
that what you will. I got a note on the
Minnesota Vikings now at home in Minnesota. They're six and
oh they had so many fans in l A. It

(01:34:11):
was like a home game. They beat up the Chargers
thirty nine ten today and in fact, the Vikings own
Twitter account right after the game tweeted the final score
and said still undefeated at home. That was pretty wild, though,
I will not that was as insane of a one
sided atmosphere as we've had in l A. I think,
well since the Steelers visited and that Sunday night game

(01:34:32):
a few weeks ago. Yeah, but yeah, when the Chargers
lined up for their first field goal. I look around,
I hear this boom of noise, and it was the
skull chant clapping all in Unison with everybody in Purple
and the lower bowl anyway, Tonight, the Buffalo Bills clinched
the playoff Berth scored ten points in the fourth quarter
and one at Pittsburgh seventeen to ten. Duck Hodges through

(01:34:52):
four interceptions sacked four times in the loss. This Saturday,
Buffalo plays at New England. New England clinched another playoff
Berth with a third win at Cincinnati. And by the way,
you gotta give it up to the Bengals because they
broke a streak of twenty straight games without getting into
the end zone on the opening drive. It's pretty much
downhill after that, especially second half. But nonetheless, the Patriots

(01:35:15):
have clinched to postseason birth for now eleven straight seasons.
NFL record. Bill Belichick's in the playoffs for the eighteenth
time in his career. That ties Tom Landry for second
all time, one back of Don Shula, who made it
in nineteen different years. F y I it was Atlanta
with the two late touchdowns winning at San Francisco twenty
nine to twenty two. Arizona hosted Cleveland and beat the

(01:35:36):
Browns four. So Arizona snaps a six game losing streak,
and running back Kenyan Kenyan Drake ended his own personal
losing streak of fourteen. You see, he was a Miami
Dolphin and lost nine in a row, then got traded
to Arizona and lost five more in a row, and
then today in Arizona he had four touchdown runs a
hundred thirty seven yards and they beat the Browns. Cleveland

(01:35:58):
is two and five on the road. The Texans had
a huge game at Tennessee, and one a close one.
There was a guy for the Texans, Angela Blackson, who
blocked a forty five yard field goal attempt first quarter.
Houston wins by three. Eventually, Texans kicked a field goal
late in the game for that winning margin twenty one.
So the Texans have a one game lead in the division.

(01:36:18):
And as we keep saying, Houston will host the Titans
in two weeks to end the season. That might be
the final Sunday night game. I hope you saw the
Kansas City game with all that snow, twenty three three
Chiefs over Denver. Travis Kelsey of Casey with eleven receptions
a hundred forty two yards. He's the first tight end
in NFL history with four straight thousand yard receiving seasons.

(01:36:40):
The Giants gotta win. That's a while. They had lost
nine in a row. Eli Manning has now thrown an
interception against every team in the league. In thirty six
twenty the final over Miami. Yes, the Dolphins are three
and eleven, but they get to host the Bengals next Sun.
That was a big loss. I think they're number what
two now in the drafts already looking toward April. That's
a dolphin fish. Carson went to the Eagles. He mentioned

(01:37:04):
the late scoring for Philadelphia. Thirty seven twenty seven was
the final at Washington. Adrian Peterson in that game did
get a t d. That's a hundred ten touchdowns in
his career, tied with Walter Payton for fourth all time.
Dallas and Philadelphia with wins there each seven and seven.
I mentioned Minnesota with a road win. Jacksonville got a
road win as well, twenty to sixteen at Oakland. Raiders

(01:37:25):
have lost four in a row. It was Green Bay
and Tampa Bay with wins. Seattle with a win as well.
Thirty to twenty four at Carolina. Carolina has lost six
in a row. Pitcher Madison Bumgardner agreed to a reported
five year deal with Arizona. The Rangers acquired pitcher Corey
Kluber from the Indians NBA. The Lakers won their seventh
in a row. And I must mention the college basketball

(01:37:46):
two big upsets. Minnesota at home beat number three Ohio
State four seventy one. There have been in the Big
Ten Conference thirteen conference basketball games this year, all thirteen
won by the home team. The last twenty years in
any Division one basketball conference, and there are tons of
leagues in Division one basketball, this is the first time

(01:38:08):
in the last that the league has had all thirteen
conference games won by the home teams to start the season.
And Wafford had a sixteen oh run at North Carolina
second half and beat the tar Heels. And it also
wanted North Carolina two years ago. And Wafford on Thursday
is playing at Dukes. Just for the record, and I
don't know if you've seen the video, but NC State

(01:38:30):
hit a basket at the buzzer from half court to
win eight to seventy seven at u n C. Green
School back to steaks, Steve, have a great week man,
as we come to you live from the Guy co
Fox Sports Radio Studios. It's easy to say fift or
more on car insurance with Geico, Got a guy dot
Com are called E seven Auto. The only hard party
figuring out which way is easier. Great guest list tonight,

(01:38:51):
thanks to a little later too, I like that. Thanks
to Bernie Fratto for coming on with us. Thanks to
John Middlecoff for coming on with us. I want to
move the Vegas do it? Yeah? I would be broke
if I lived in Vegas. Gamble up like a fool,
your your your dollar, tin team Parlay's. I mean maybe

(01:39:12):
if you'd hit one of those for seven grand or something,
so I could I can't control myself. I would sit
at the blackjack table and I bet, like twenty five
dollars you lose, twenty five dollars to lose, twenty five
dollars to lose, and then I'm like, I said, push
it everything in the middle, let's go, let's just finish
it off now one one hand. But what if you
hit that one hand? So we don't have a ton

(01:39:34):
of time down the stretch today. But I did want
to fit in kind of a mini M I N
I edition of Buy or Sell here, Arnie. But I
think it's only gonna be on one topic. So here
we go. You have eight teams that you think can
win the Super Bowl, and I'm gonna just guess those
eight teams you came up with this last night? Right? Uh?

(01:39:56):
New England, Kansas City, Baltimore. You added Buffalo, correct, we
added Buffalo last night, and after today's game, I think
you'd have to definitely put him in there. So that'd
be four teams out of the A F okay, and
then San Francis. We didn't put in the Texans or
the Titans at that stot right now, you understand, I
don't think you're probably putting in the Steelers or or
even the Clubs Brown Durators, whom I can okay uh?

(01:40:18):
And then San Francisco, New Orleans, Seattle and Green Bay
were those the other four that you had, And we
threw in Minnesota as as one also. I mean they've
got double digit victories, so um, you certainly can't turn
your back on them. So there'd be five more. But
if you didn't want to put in Minnesota, there'd be
your right there all right, So buy or sell, Arnie,

(01:40:38):
it's okay to add Dallas to this list. After no,
that's that's not okay. So it's not okay. Now I'm
selling that you can't add Dallas. Okay, one win over
the Rams at home, and all of a sudden you
want to add them to the list. No. Um, a
matter of fact, I don't even think they could prove
anything the rest of the season to add them to
the list of a team that could go and win
the Super Bowl. Too many teams I had of them

(01:41:00):
that are better than them. Um No, I'm not going
to add them to the wist no matter what they
do the rest of the year. All right. I mean
you were pretty high on him to start this show.
I don't know if you remember, but two hours and
thirty eight minutes ago, you kind of seemed you were
in a by state with the frusher in my mind
when they won the game. Now it's two and a
half hours old. Now how about well, let's say it's Philadelphia.

(01:41:22):
Would you buy putting Philly in there if they win
their last two games. On a matter of fact, I'm
higher on Dallas than I am on Philadelphia. I would
say Dallas has a much better chance to run the
table than Philadelphia's. I have no, no, uh respect for
the Eagles. I think they're one and done. If they
do get into the playoffs. I think they're just below
average team. I don't like them at all. All right,

(01:41:44):
So a final buyer sell here before we get to
what everyone came for tonight, which is Arnie's picky. I
know this is a tough category because we still have
two games to play, and there could be some teams
that really have the bottom fall out, but Arnie buy
or sell. The Rams and Browns are battling for the
biggest disappointments in twenty nineteen, even though the Rams at

(01:42:06):
least have a winning record. I can't say the Rams are.
I mean, until this last game against Statist, they were
eight in five and trying to make a run. So
I'm not gonna say that the biggest disappointment because they
now have that loss. Sure though a little bit, but
I can't say the biggest. I remember Cleveland, I would
have been on them to win the division. So when
the conference they're going to the super Bowl, Uh, they're

(01:42:26):
six and eight in their garbage, Um, I would have
to say right now they're the biggest disappointment in the
entire NFL. That is just abysmo. After what they accomplished
last year winning those seven games, people thought they were
gonna take a step forward. They just didn't do it.
I will say, though, I'm willing to give them a
grace period because they are now just two years to

(01:42:49):
remove from oh in sixteen. So maybe, just maybe we
jumped the gun a little bit on him. I would.
I was gonna say, did you read the when we
first started the show? Um, somebody would hadn't tweeted into
you no, because it was three hours ago. That was
back when you were high on the Dallas Cowboys. So
I've forgotten everything since you've turned on them as well too.

(01:43:09):
One more buy yourself. He was ripping you for like
in Baker Mayfield. He's like, you should be fired for that. Yeah,
I should be fired. You fire me, Fire me for
not jumping the gun every single week. I know what
what's lost right here, Mattie I said, Baker Mayfield is
absolutely hot garbage, and Pike should be ashamed of himself

(01:43:30):
for defending that clown time and time again. Yeah, I
hit the like button on that. I'm sure you did. Arenie.
Have you ever looked at your likes? If you you're
like the desperate chick at the end of the bar
in the morning. If anyone tweets at you, you like
it and retweet. Nothing wrong with a social media manager.
They show up in your feed NonStop final buy or

(01:43:53):
sell one and um, I don't know if maybe I'm
a little bit drunk off watching a team today, aren't
buy or sell? The Chiefs are back and with Mahomes
even though they were in the snow today, and the
defense playing like they are, they're as much of a
super Bowl contender as they've been all season long. They
are as much of a Super Bowl contender as they've

(01:44:14):
been all season long. But I don't think they're back
based on that game I saw today. A matter of fact,
I would say I was a little bit disappointed. They
were actually moving the ball, passing it up and down
even in the snow. A couple of turnovers the homes,
the home's interceptions at the end kind of bothered me.
They didn't look crisp like I expected them to. Um,
you know, especially coming off I went against the Patriots.

(01:44:36):
But um, they are tenant four and they're right up
there they're better than the Patriots and right up there
with Baltimore. I am just fascinated with how good I
think they are now that Patrick Mahomes is a hcent.
Well when we come back, did a guy called Fox
Sports Radio Studios. It's what you all came for tonight. Yes,
it's time for Arnie's Picks next to wrap it up

(01:44:56):

joining us if you missed either one available for download
as soon as we're done here at Fox Sports Radio
dot Com. Our search Fox Sports Radio weekends on either

(01:45:20):

I want to tell you something amazing. Discover matches all

Millions of people a year are getting their cash back matched.

(01:45:41):
Discover cash Back Match. What are you waiting for it?
Learn more? Discover dot com slash cash back match. Alright, Arnie,
let's do it. Not a ton of games collegewise quite yet,
but an interesting Saturday slate in the NFL where you
want to start on your picks. Let's get right out
of give you a little music, put me in the mood.
There is some college bull games. I'm gonna get to
um a matter of fact, Kent State, Utah State. I

(01:46:02):
don't want to get too much into it. I believe
this is gonna be ken State's first full game. If
it's not, you guys have no idea and I have
no idea. Proved me wrong. I don't even think anybody's
gonna look it up. So I'll just stick with that.
Give me ken State plus the seven there also, I'm
gonna go ahead this Bertie said, I'll take Liberty making
their first Bowl appearance. I'll take the six points against
Georgia's Southern and I'm all over boys he plus the

(01:46:23):
four against Washington. Now, let's get to the NFL. Some
good games, especially with the games on Saturday. I'm all
over my Buffalo Bills. What do you kid me? After
what I saw today, I'm gonna get seven points in
New England. And gets a Patriot team that really can't
get out of their way offensively when they play a
good team. Give me Buffalo plus two seven. I'm also

(01:46:43):
gonna take Dallas lay the two and a half on
the road in Philadelphia. A little nervous about that, and
I'm all over San Francisco lay in six and a half.
Now that the Rams are dead, it's like they're living
against the dead. Give me San Francisco minus six and
a half against the Rams pick number seven. And later on,
before we get out of here, I'm gonna be giving
out Ben Maller's addressing phone number for not inviting me

(01:47:06):
to the his Christmas party. So I will tell everybody
his address and we could all show up next weekend
for not being invited. So there you have my picks,
two of them as you please. They're no longer strictly
for entertainment purposes only I didn't get invited to the
Christmas party. Come on now, this will be the fourth

(01:47:27):
Bowl game for Kent State Arnie, including their most recent trips.
So you proved me wrong, Daddy dot Com Bowl? Yeah,
you know, Google Search. I want to know why I
didn't get invited to the Ben mallor party. That's really
upsetting me, though. I would have no idea why someone
wouldn't want you around a party, no idea whatsoever. Kent

(01:47:47):
State didn't get you didn't get then you didn't get
the check your junk mail. That's what I was. Let
me check that. I must have missed it, man. See
that's what happened. When you have out of state area code,
you gotta come back locked out sometimes. Kent States first
ever Bowl nine, the Refrigerator Bowl. I don't think that's
made up, if I must be real. A couple of

(01:48:11):
quick tweets to get us out of here before Big
Ben and his party planning takes center stage. Larry Right
the Falcon set a record today that will probably never
be broken. Two touchdowns in a two second span. Not bad.
I don't want to interrupt, guys, but I was in
the hallway here walking around, and I heard Arnie Spaniards

(01:48:32):
a little rant there. Do you know, Chris that because
Arnie is such a gas bag, I had to wash
cars and this guy sat on the side smoking cigars,
all right, and he was still Yeah, it's been twenty
years and it still bothers me. Arnie. It still troubles
me seeing you in that Hawaiian shirt walking around there.

(01:48:52):
When you said you were gonna watch every lay, every
Laker fan their car was gonna be washed by Arnie Space,
you didn't wash anyone's car. I want you to. This
is this is why I don't fill in for you,
because you don't invite me to your party. You don't
feel because the militia eat you alive. That's why you
don't feel in. They eat you alive. Arnie that too,
But I'm like, I I tell the bus no, please

(01:49:14):
don't do it to me. I don't get invited to
his party, and and the Mallard militia doesn't like me.
You're gonna you'renna fight three thousand miles for a two
hour parts. I'm gonna invite you next year. You're not
gonna show up, and that'll be the end of it,
all right, God Else, he's good on Arnie to light

(01:49:36):
the wick early here. Yeah, we'll be ready to go.
As if he's not mad enough about the Rams performance today.
Ben the crew coming up next year on Fox Sports Radio.
You won't want to miss it. Good job, Arnie to
make to make been mad at us. He's always mad,
that's okay. Hey again, thanks to Bubbo. Great job lead
a lap tonight. If you missed it, podcast it right now.

(01:49:56):
Middleclough in the house with us earlier. Also really good
stuff with Bernie Fratto if you're not listening to his
show on Saturday nights and go listen to our interview
with him and Steve da Singer. We'll be back next Sunday.
I'll have a really clear picture of the playoffs and
a couple of Bowl games in later in the rap
as well too. We'll see you next week on Fox.
