Stagecoach is here, and all signs are pointing to a Beyonce surprise appearance. And because of Stagecoach, traffic out to Indio is slow moving. A family was traveling to Turks & Caicos when a nightmare happened! The family got separated on their way home due to the husband accidentally traveling with ammunition in his suitcase. Another Metro stabbing happened today, and fortunately at this point, it seems that the victim will survive. Elex Michaelson from Fox LA is joining Conway, to discuss the protests at UCLA and the USC. Elex also gives us insight into the valedictorian selection and the cancelled graduation ceremony at USC. Seabas from The Woody Show is joining us in-studio next segment! Protests have moved from USC which has a private campus, to UCLA and are still ongoing.

It's k IF I am six fortyand you're listening to the Conway Show on
demand on the iHeartRadio app if Iam sixty. It is the Conway Show
and it is Friday, and everybodyis going out to Stage Coach. Yes,
they're gonna look at three days ofcountry music. It's gonna be today,

(00:24):
Tomorrow and Sunday Stage Coach, whichis the country version of Coachella.
And I've been out there once before. It was kind of a cool deal.
A lot of people out there, one hundred thousand people. I would
not bring my Biden hat with you, if you know what I mean.

(00:47):
Not the crowd, not the crowd. But it's gonna be a great weekend
to get out there. That It'sgonna be a little warm, a bit
warm, but man, is itgonna be hot on stage, Warm in
the audience, but hot on stage. Man. Week it's gonna be fantastic
out there. If we turn thecomputer on, Robin, thank you,

(01:07):
little buddy. Hold on one second, we'll get this together. Wait a
minute, hold on, wait aminute, let me put some boom in
it. Here we go. Thisis Beyonce's new country album. Right the
behind is buzz in this morning aboutthe possibility Beyonce will perform at this weekend's

(01:33):
Stagecoast Festival in Indio. The BigClue was a performer listed on the Stage
Coast website by the name of BackwoodsBarbie. No one knows who she is,
but a linked to Backwoods Barbie's instagramhas plenty of photos, records in
Beyonce and Cowboy Carter's Dolly Parton, who collaborates on Cowboy Carter, and pictures

(01:53):
of disco Ball and Cliver sequence similarto Beyonce's looks from her Renaissance album.
The account only follows six people, including Beyonce, Dolly's Stead Coach headliner Morgan
Wallan, and Diplo. Shows amap of the Stage Coach festival grounds with
the caption catch me on Saturday nightat seven p m. Out In Diplo's
Honky Talk, Beyonce and Diplo collaboratestogether several times before Okay, so what

(02:19):
are they saying that Beyonce is goingto be at Stage Coach? Is that
what I'm hearing? That Beyonce isgoing to be at Stage Coaches? Wow?
You know what is that? Right? You know what? Breaks it's
happening? Yes, you know whatwould really break the internet is if Dolly
showed up with her exactly. Thatwould bring I think Dolly's going to show
up too, although Shane was like, that would have to She's got to

(02:45):
travel all the way to India. That's a lot. It would be a
private plane and then she'd be usheredin it would she she would be in
the lap do you think beyond? That'd be fantastic? Fantastic. A lot
of people vacationing there this weekend, which is cool to get out, you
know, you get in the car, you slide down to Coachella and watch
stage coach over the weekend. Buta different vacation. What was happening in

(03:08):
is it called Turks and Caicos.I'd actually look up where that was.
I thought that was down near Vietnam, not the geography net when it comes
to, you know, exotic vacationSouthland. That's right. Look, my
daughter is, you know, afairly new driver, and I want to

(03:29):
get her used to driving on freeways. So when I go home sometimes I
go, hey, get the keys, we're going on the freeway. And
so we jump on the freeway,go five south, one thirty four east,
two north, two ten East, one thirty four west to the five
north of Boam. We're home, and she goes, she goes, how
do you know all these freeways? And I go, well, you know,

(03:50):
I'm I'm five plus decades living hereand I drove a limousine for a
living. You sort of get toknow the freeways. But you know what,
Krozier, these kids today, they'renot going to know the freeways because
of ways. They're not going tohave to know the freeways. Yeah,
you know, by looks. They'renot gonna be able to identify what a
freeway is, the same way thatnobody can remember their own phone number.

(04:12):
That's right, that's right. Andit's one of the reasons why whenever I
call my daughter, I punch inher phone number, just in case my
phone is stolen or I lost it. I know her phone number. That's
a great idea. It's a goodidea, right. I learned that from
watching TV. Some guy on TVsaid that he gave me that TV tip,
and so I got that from television. It's the only number you really
care about anyways, right, right, I know my wife's number, I

(04:32):
know my number, and I knowmy daughter's number. And for some weird
reason. I know David Mosekian's phonenumber, a friend of mine for like
twenty twenty five years, and Iknow his phone ever, but I don't
know. I couldn't tell you RobbieFox, Billy Ray, Todd Crouch,
Mike Hennessey, you know, MarkAsher, Jeff Lowe, Steve Berman,

(04:53):
all these guys I grew up with. I couldn't tell you any of their
phone numbers. I don't even knowwhat area code they're in. I really
don't. Yeah, they're just onspeed dial or on you know, you
hit your contacts list and boom, you're gone. But if you have kids,
always dial their number, so whenyour phone's missing, you know their
phone number. It's a good tip. And I got it from TV,

(05:15):
so it has to be a goodtip. Yeah, it's it's like a
not even a radio tip, it'sa TV tip. It's really great.
Hey, we'll come back and talkabout this vacation nightmare in Turks. It's
is it turks and caicos or turksand caicos. Uh, that's a good
question, because I just always hearit as turks and cacos, turks and
caicos. I thought it was seriously, I thought that was like near Vietnam,

(05:38):
Turks and Caicos, but it turnsout it's near Cuba. It's near
like a Dominican republic like Haiti. And you know who they're under the control
of. Oh, let me guessthe French nou the Brits, Yes,
sir, is that right? That'sBritish overseas territory. Wow, learn something
every day. And but that's oneof those exotic locations in the Caribbean Bahamas

(05:58):
area. And so some couple wentthere for vacation. And now they might
be doing twelve years in prison. But it could happen to you as well.
Weak back, I'll tell you whatthey did to get them thrown in
prison for what could be twelve miserableyears. And they have young kids too.
It's a nightmare. You're listening toTim Conway Junior on demand from KFI

(06:19):
AM six forty. All right,Turks and Caicos vacation nightmare. Another reason
why next time you plan a vacationHuntington Beach, del Mar, Washington,
d C. New York, Florida, states and communities you're familiar with,

(06:40):
all right, or it could costyou twelve years in a foreign prison.
How about this couple. A vacationtwo Turks and Caicos turned into a nightmare
for a couple from Oklahoma. Justas Ryan and Valerie Watson were about to
head home, they were stopped byairport security where authorities there say they found
ammunition in his carry on luggage.Oh that's a no, no internationally carrying

(07:02):
ammunition. But I understand you knowyou got a few uh, you know,
a few rounds in you when youtravel. I get that. A
couple claims it was an honest mistake. Valerie was allowed to return to the
US, but Ryan remains in Turksand Caicos and could face up to a
dozen years in prison. Twelve yearsin prison because he had a clip with

(07:23):
him with I don't know seven eightnine rounds. The guy either he's a
hunter or he just had it forhis protection at home and he and he
uses that bag to go away withthe buddies on the weekend, and he
forgot that it was in there, and he got through TSA. That's the
scary part. He got through TSA. On the way to Turks and Caicos.
They didn't find it, but onhis way home, the Brits or

(07:46):
whoever's in charge of Turks and Caicossecurity. They found it, and I
was looking at twelve years in prison. You know, it's hard because I
had the kids here with lots ofquestions and wondering when Dad's coming home and
oh no, missing daddy, andhow long is it going to be away?
You know, those them. Iwonder if she's honest with dad when

(08:07):
they're like, hey, where's Dad, and she just goes, oh,
he fed up? What wait?Wait? Talk to your kids like that.
Them processing their emotions through all ofthis has been. Its just been.
It's been very difficult. Yeah, bet it is. It has been
horrible. Right. Ryan's next courtdate is June seventh. Oh my god,
twelve years in a Turks and Caicosprison. That's not your rich Carlton.

(08:31):
And that's a very expensive island. After the story came out, I
looked, you know what it costsfor a typical hotel room down there.
It starts at like six hundred bucks. It goes up to twelve to fourteen
hundred dollars a night for one night, fourteen hundred bucks. That's expensive.
But I can't bring the can't bringbullets with you that's a good rule of

(08:54):
thumb. Don't bring ammunition when youtravel abroad, all right, check your
bag two, three, four timesor else. Twelve years in prison.
That's a lot. Another Metro stabbingtoday. Seems like every day we play
the story and it seems like thesame story over and over and over.
Officers, they just removed the policetape. But this is a bus behind

(09:16):
me where that altercation occurred. Thestabbing. It happened just after twelve thirty
this afternoon. This is along thearea of Figaroa and Adams. Take a
look at this now more shots fromskyfive Skyfi was above the scene. Police
they immediately responded here following reports ofa stabbing, a stabbing, another stabbing
on Metro. I think that's fivethis month. Man. It's really unsafe,

(09:41):
very unsafe to get on those metros. And it appears that there were
actually two different nearby locations. Now, officers, they wouldn't give me a
lot of information out here with thescene, but this fight reportedly started on
the metro bus and they said twoindividuals were involved in some sort of altercation.
One person was stabbed. There isa lot of blood here on the

(10:03):
sidewalk. Officers also telling me thatthey found two weapons here at the scene,
but that only one was used inthis incident. Yeah, we got
to clean it up. We've gotthe Olympics coming in. Can't be stabbing
people on buses three four times aweek. We've got to clean the city
up. I don't know how we'regonna do it, but that even that
that city, I mean that LaCounty supervisor what's your name, Burger?

(10:28):
Is that her name? Catherine BargerBarger Barger. She said she would not
go on the Metro. She's aLA County supervisor And she said, no,
I would never go on the Metro. It's too dangerous. And she's
a supervisor, a supervisor here inLa County in charge of that kind of
crap, and she said she'd nevergo on. We saw police tape as

(10:50):
mentioned officers around two different locations tosir, why it's the people on the
Metro? And I get it.I get it. They're hot, they're
angry as hell, they don't haveany money, they don't see any hope
for themselves, they don't have anyplace to live, a lot of them,
and they get pissed very easily. Now, the saving Grays here is

(11:13):
that it's not been very hot inLos Angeles since about November of last year.
I can't remember the last time itwas ninety degrees in LA. It's
probably six months. You just wait, you wait until he hit July,
August, and September, and thesame pissed off people on the buzz are

(11:35):
going to be stabbing multiple people aday. These stories are going to become
much more frequent when it gets hotoutside. So something's got to be done.
I don't know what the answer is. I'm not as supervisor or a
council member. I don't know whatit is more cops probably, I don't
know. But it happens all thetime. And the guy who's been on
top of this is mo Kelly. He listened to mo Kelly and almost nightly

(11:58):
he'll tell you what's going on withthose Metros blocks apart. Now, it's
unclear if that person who was stabbedgot off the bus and stumbled to that
second location with all of the trailof blood that we observed no condition on
that individual, but the LAPD saysthat person is expected to survive. Here's
more from passengers. All right, then, now the passengers get to talk

(12:20):
let's find out what they have tosay. Yes, the single mom with
the toddler, two teenagers, itmakes me scared. I don't feeling I
don't Wow, she's taking a toddlerand two teenagers on that bus. Man
oh man, what a wild dayfor them. Yes, the single mom
with the toddler, two teenagers,it makes me scared. I don't feeling
I don't feel good, you know, to be on the inside of the
buses, gird h. So you'resitting next to this guy, get on

(12:46):
a bus, sit down and thisguy's next to you. I don't feeling.
I don't feel good. Somebody sittinghere, I don't feel good on
the inside. The sitting here, skirt and the bus driver was not that
guy's next to you. These guysin life who you try to avoid,

(13:07):
are now in your life. Theysit next to you. They're fellow passengers
on that bus. I don't feelgood, you know, to be on
the inside of the buses. Skirnand the bus driver was not involved in
this incident. We were able toconfirm that with the LAPD. The stabbing
comes following multiple high profile violent attackson Metro public transit, a lot of

(13:30):
them A lot of high profile Metrostabbing, shootings, fightings, assaults on
Metro and its drivers, it's operators, also passengers totaled about one hundred and
sixty last year. That's an increasefrom previous years. Those assaults continued this
year some deadly. Metro has implementednew safety measures to protect its drivers.

(13:50):
Yeah. One of the things you'regoing to do with they're gonna put plexiglass
around the driver so at least thedriver can't get stabbed to death. To
protect the public. But passengers withtoday, they told us it's simply not
enough. They say a lot oftimes people were mentally disturbed. Yeah,
a lot of the times times peoplewere mentally disturbed. People here are mentally

(14:11):
disturbed. Can imagine what it's Igot a bus, people will work here
are mentally disturbed. I'm amongst them. They cop on the bus, they
try assaulting the bus driver, theytry harassing passengers. They say they've had
enough, especially people who rely onpublic trends that they don't have cars to
get to and from work, andso this is something that they use every
day and they really fear for theirsafety, their family safety. But again,

(14:33):
one person stabbed here. This afternoonand University Park. We're still awaiting
that condition. The LAPD is sayingthat individual is expected to survive. All
right, guys gonna survive, butthey got to do something. I don't
know. Again, I don't knowwhat the answer is. But so far,
no good. Too many stabbings, too any shootings, too many killings,
and people just trying to get aroundthe city, and it's got to

(14:56):
stop again. I don't know how. I'll leave that up to the supervisors,
the council, LAPD. That's whatyou guys get paid for. You'll
figure that out. But for rightnow, who is getting on these buses?
I mean, you just take yourlife in your own hands, especially
with kids you get on this bus. Man, oh Man, something's got
to change. Something's got to change. Maybe Alex Michaelson has the answer.

(15:18):
He's coming out with us. Thatguy's always cool. He's got a show
on at ten thirty every Friday.Call the issue is find out what the
issue is tonight, or maybe there'smultiple issues. The issues are should be
the name of the story the show. You're listening to Tim Conway Junior on
demand from KFI AM six forty.Let you get right to Alex Michaelson from

(15:39):
kt TV Channel eleven, And theissue is every Friday night, Alex,
how you Bob doing well? Tim? How are you ding dong with you?
Oh? Come on, buddy, you people people tune in for your
introduction of dig dong with you, ding dong with you? Buddy, you
are the biggest thud. Every timeI bring your name up, people always

(16:02):
like, that's the greatest guy innews. Thank you. Likewise, and
everybody said you're the greatest guy inradio. It's amazing. Well that happens
to be true. The other oneis still a for debate. Yeah,
all right, So you went toUSC. I saw a shirt today it
says you can't spell sucks without USC? Is that offensive? No? Bigs

(16:26):
up of what's been happening at USCrecently? How did they let this?
How did this beautiful university get letthis thing get so out of control that
there's one hundred cops on campus.Well, you know, I don't understand
how this particular valedictorian was chosen. You know, they had a choice of

(16:49):
you know, like a hundred differentpeople. I mean, they don't just
pick. You know, you getthe highest GPA and you're the person there.
I didn't know that there's a process. Oh, I didn't know that.
I thought he was the highest personwith the highest grades. And by
the by the by the way,uh, I can't even spell valedictorian.
So you weren't up for it.I don't think you were part of the

(17:10):
hundred. But there is that theword out there. Yea. They could
have chosen. And I don't know, based off of the sensitivity of this
issue, why you choose somebody who'sespecially frankly passionate about it on either side?
Sure? Why why why dive intothat when you had the choice to
sort of punt on that issue, and and and so that didn't make sense,

(17:36):
you know, what you want todo? Maybe next year they get
the valedictorian, the guy or thegal with the highest grades who's really interested
in the spring desert bloom, right, some random engineer who goes up there,
uh, and and has social anxietyand gives you know, a boring
speech or something and then no,no, no controversy though, So that

(18:00):
didn't make sense. And then itdidn't make sense, you know, to
invite and then to disinvite, becausethen you turn this student into a martyr
and you give even more attention tothe whole thing. And if there wasn't
security concerns before, now there's abunch of security concerns because you know,
people are going to be protesting, and then you cancel the whole thing.

(18:21):
And all these students who in twentytwenty were the high school class that had
their high school graduation canceled because ofCOVID threw no fault of their own.
These thousands of students now have theirgraduation canceled because the administration made these bonehead
moves. That's horrible. How's thatthere? Well, and you know why,
it's really not fair to compound theissue. This is the first graduating

(18:45):
class that also had their high schoolgraduating class wiped out because of COVID.
Yeah, I literally just said that. I don't know if I know.
I'm reading the news. I'm readingthe racing forum for tomorrow. Yeah yeah,
yeah, so yeah, it is. It is unfortunate for them.
I really feel for the students there, I do, so, you know,

(19:07):
but hey, on a lighter note, I'm want to ask I'm want
to tell you something on a lighternote. Around here, the other night
we were talking about Bellio was threateningand having a sleepover at her house,
right, So I thought was oddat this age. And and I said,
who would you invite from KFI?And she said, one of the
very first persons she thought of invitingwould be you. So she wants to

(19:30):
sleep with me. She just wantsto sleepover guys and gals. But she
thought that you would get drunk andthen talk about all the people you hated
Fox. So this is more like, this is like what's happening at the
u CLA right now? Just tosleepover? That's right, funny, just
hang out on the grass. Butlook, how are they going to get

(19:52):
this together? I would love asleepover at Bello's house. Yeah, you're
on the list. I'm not,but you a yes? So how is
ucl US going to get this together? And is UCLA going to follow suit?
They got to stop with this somehow. They've got to control these campuses
for these kids to you know, continue their learning, get a graduation,
and have a positive experience with theircollege years. Well, USC and UCLA

(20:18):
are handling it very different, youknow, they are different places. USC
of course a private school that hasgates around the campus, so they're essentially
locking down the campus saying you can'tcome on here unless you're a student or
you have a valid reason and youneed like tickets and id I mean,
it's a whole thing to even geton the USC campus right now. They
the day that they they tried toset up tents, they kick them out

(20:40):
with LAPD UCLA the opposite. It'san open campus with no gates, and
everybody's just free to do whatever theywant, including sleep in the middle of
campus and create their own and youknow, tent city, which is what
happened. I don't know how longthat lasts. It reminds us member of
that Occupy LA thing we all experienceso many years ago, which they just

(21:00):
let go and let go and letgo until finally, you know, the
l a p D decided to goin and move in. I was the
embedded reporter with the l a pD as they got into that and broke
it, broke it up and inthe middle of the night, which was
a crazy experience to watch all thathappen. Wa So you were you were
there or something like that. Youwere the reporter that staged up at Dodger

(21:22):
Stadium and then they went into thebowels of City Hall and then surprised all
those idiots, that's exactly right, and taking people off of trees and whipping
up these tents and the whole itwas the whole thing, le mission of
Gosh. Isn't that the term?I think that's it? Yes, all

(21:42):
right, what's on the big showtonight? Buddy? I know you got
a very popular happy pass over toyou bringing the Yiddish. Yeah. Well,
we talked to Steve Garvey, whoI know is on with John Cobard
YESTERDAYFI about some of uh these issuewho's on college campuses, that's stocked illegal

(22:03):
analysis from Jessica Levinson and more ofour conversation with Harvey Levin at TMZ who
weighs in on Trump and Biden andsort of the way the media is getting
Trump wrong and oj and his experiencebeing as a student leader at the rf
with at the Ambassador Hotel the nightthat RFK was killed. I mean,
Harvey's like one of those sort ofyou know, Forrest Gump characters who's kind

(22:26):
of been there for so much ahistory and really enjoyed our conversation. I
know, for a very young guy, he seems to experience everything. He
goes back to, like the RevolutionaryWar. He was, he was getting
getting the T on George Washington.I know I saw good. I saw
Steve Garvey yesterday at the five orsix o'clock on KTLA, and I saw

(22:48):
him at five or six o'clock onCBS, and then I saw him at
five or six o'clock last night onNBC. Oh sorry, are you on
it that hour? Are you suggestingthat you're not interested in hearing him again
or that you're not watching me atfive or six o'clock? No, no,
no, no, when you whenyou say you heard him all with
John and Camp with John Colebelt,he was on with us yesterday to young

(23:10):
young man, Oh he was onyour show, Yes, sir, young
man hung out and did both. That's right, that's right. We call
it. Call that a radio dingdong. Buddy, Oh my god,
what is wrong with me? Butlook, I screwed up initially by talking
about by repeating exactly what you said, and I felt bad. And then
you thought, you know, youearned you you, you know, handle

(23:33):
this interview so beautifully. And thenat the end we both felt bad.
It's been a bad interview. It'sFriday, you know, it's okay.
So the weekend is almost here. You're the best I wanted to give I
wanted to give John a shout out, but clearly, uh, clearly,
your show is more important. Andyou're the one that invites me on every
week he doesn't. So that's fromone team. Conwic and and and I

(23:55):
don't think you're bsing us when yousay that. A lot of people will
if they run into at an airportor restaurant, they they will recall you
being on the show at least afew times a week. That's right.
People love you, you know,we both do a lot of BS.
There is a lot of love forTim Conway out there. Buddy. We

(24:15):
love having you on. As longas I'm sitting in the seat, we'd
love to have you on every Friday. Thank you so much. I appreciate
that. The guy that replaces me, I don't know. You don't want
have to figure that out, allright, buddy, go Trojans one day
at a time. Yeah, areyou going to go to the graduation?
You're going to be the reporter goingto the graduation? Is I don't know,

(24:38):
I don't know. I mean they'redoing satellite graduations, which they did
before. They always had the reallybig graduation where you go, everybody's there
and you listen to the big speaker, and then the satellite graduations where you
get your diplomas, where you havewith you your class, all that kind
of stuff. So that's still continuing. So it's not like the kids get
nothing, it's just they are missingthe big speech. All right, tonight

(25:00):
thirty. The issue is I'll bewatching, have a great weekend. We'll
talk to you next week, Thankyou very much. Okay, all right.
There he goes Alex Michaelson, bigUSC fan, graduate from USC and
so he's he's torn between what's happenedat USC now and what happened, you
know, like beautiful, great campuswhen he graduated. I don't know how

(25:21):
many years ago. He says,he's thirty eight, which I don't know.
It's like fifty eight. You're listeningto Tim Conway Junior on demand from
KFI AM six forty. Yes,we got Sea Bass coming on from the
Woody Show. It's a big deal, right, the Woody Show. Amen.
It was Steph Fushe they introduced meto the Woody Show. He goes,

(25:42):
hey, you gotta listen to theWoody Show. Like, oh,
okay, I'm not up that early. He goes listen on podcasts and I
was hooked. I was hook prettyquickly. And anytime you you literally laugh
out loud, I don't like tocall it lol when you but if you
lol on a radio show, that'spretty good. That's pretty good. I
haven't been able to catch him specificallyon the radio, but I catch all

(26:03):
the social media stuff, and it'sgot me hooked just even through that.
Yeah, it's good. It's great, and it's fun to laugh at stuff
you either hear or see on radioor on social media. I think it's
I think there's a lot of talentedpeople out there. I can't believe.

(26:23):
Yeah, yeah, the Sea Bassis a very talented kid. I don't
know how old he is, butI imagine he's like twenty five. I
don't know, maybe he's older.I don't know. Steph is what's his
birthday? Yeah, Steph? Howold is Sea Bass? How old do
you think he is? How old? The micro Jones was about like thirty
eight? Thirty eight? Okay, yeah, I thought he was like nineteen,

(26:45):
but I thought that radio was twentyone too. I think all those
people are they're all kids upstairs. But they're not old the idiots like me.
But that'll be great. Five o'clockSea Bass from the wood You show,
Take Dolong with that Woody show. All right, we have a We
talked about obviously the Metro, youknow, being on fire, people getting

(27:08):
stabbed and shot and accosted and itsucks. We also talked about, you
know, what's going on to USC, but UCLA is also having their protests
as well. Ucla is a bigass open campus. USC as Alex Michaelson
just pointed out, that's a privatecampus. You do not have any right

(27:32):
to be on the USC campus unlessthey say you do. It's like being
at your house. Your house isa private piece of property and people can't
just come in and set up tentson your property. You'd call the cops
