Speaker 2 (00:31):
Have you been taking an amino acid supplement? Have you
heard about it? Well? Are you thinking maybe it's just
for those bodybuilders in their twenties, not for me, who's
a forty nine year old woman or a sixty year
old man. Welcome to Accelerated Health with Sarabianta, where cut
through the noise and fast track your journey to better health.
(00:51):
I'm your host, CEO and founder of Accelerated Health Products
and certified by the National Association of Nutritional Professionals. I'm
here to share the latest on supplements, wellness hacks, natural
health solutions that actually work and those that don't, from
boosting energy to detoxing to balancing hormones and everything in between.
So let's dive in. Should you be taking an amino
(01:14):
acid supplement and what are they? Every single day, your
body's hard at work orchestrating millions of tiny processes that
you don't even know about. To keep you alive, energized, thriving.
That's why some days you feel amazing and some days
you just have no energy. You can't get out of bed.
(01:35):
You're wired and tired. And at the heart of all
it all, it's amino acids. These are the unsung heroes
that quietly power everything from muscle growth to mental clarity,
making amino acid supplementation crucial. These are the little building
blocks that are in protein. And if you're vegan, if
(01:55):
you're vegetarian, you might want to listen up even more.
There's a way to do those diets healthily. There's a
way to do paleo and carnivore and even the sugar
diet maybe if you add in these amino acids. But
we're going to dive in on the benefits of them.
Not just for those muscles and those body builders. It
(02:19):
is for your mood. I mean, how many of us
want to improve the moods of some of our loved
ones right, immune function, muscle growth, tissue repair, skin, hair.
First thing to go is your hair with a lack
of amino acids. Most people know that protein matters, but
all protein's not equal. Absorption matters. How is your gut.
(02:43):
If your gut's not good, you're not even absorbing what
you're taking in. But we want athletic performance rebuilding after
an illness. If you're in a hospital bed after surgery,
you better be focused on your protein. Just wanting to
feel stronger, sharper, or resilient. Understand the full need and
(03:05):
full spectrum of amino acids is super important, not just
a few. And when you read on that package that
it has nine grams of protein, what kind of protein
is it? Is it absorbable because some aren't and some are.
Nine grams of protein doesn't always equal nine grams of protein.
So let's understand those amino acids in their types. Okay,
(03:28):
these amino acids are tiny, but they're powerful molecules, and
they're like legos. And I think about my son when
he was a toddler putting those little legos together, snapping
them together in a precise sequence to form thousands of
proteins that keep you alive. They are fundamental for body tissue, muscle, skin, hair,
(03:52):
all of it, and each one has a unique function
in the body. So each amino acid share or is
that same basic structure A little amino group, a box
a lick, I'm sorry, acid group a hydrogen atom, But
what makes each one unique is its side chain, okay,
(04:12):
a chemical tag, and they contain that basic amino group
attached to a certain carbon atom, which is then fundamental
to the structure and the essential essential for that protein formation.
So altogether, there are twenty amino acids that your body
relies on to synthesize protein, run your metabolism, support your
immune system, and keep every cell functioning. I always laugh
(04:35):
because people are focused on these weight loss drugs and
thyroid for weight loss and metabolism. If you start eating
more protein, your body's going to go, Okay, I'm getting
what I need. I'm going to speed up that metabolism,
lower the blood sugar, and burn the fat. It's the
basic thing that you should look to and then look
(04:58):
to the other things. So there are three main categories
of amino acids, the essential amino acids. These are nine
essential amino acids your body cannot make on its own.
We need to get them from our food. Histidine, isocine, leucine, lysine,
the thiginnine, fenylalanine, thrieanene, triptofan, and valing. You must get
(05:21):
them from the diet. Usually you really want to focus
on a complete protein that's packaged the way God intended,
and that comes in animal protein. Unfortunately, I know you
vegans are like, I'm not listening to you. Unfortunately, when
you are on a vegan diet, you're trying to match
the right ratios with different vegan proteins to eat them
(05:43):
together in that perfect meal, to let your body absorb
and use those essential amino acids all at the same time. Now,
if you get some of them at two o'clock in
the afternoon and some at five o'clock, they're not coming together.
Bodies saying, well, I don't know what to do with
these five amino acids over here. I'm going to storm
(06:04):
as fat. Oh and by the way, the nine others
come in later, what do I do with them? The
five are already gone. I don't know what to do
with them either, so I'm gonna just storm as fat
or not use them. This is why it's so important
to get the nine essential amino acids in the right ratios,
in the right package at the right time. So there's
the rate limiting factor for protein synthesis. Meaning if you're
(06:28):
missing even one, your body's ability to build muscle, proteins, antibodies, neurotransmitters,
other vital compounds. Stop. Okay, those are the essential amino acids.
Then we've got the non essential amino acids eleven amino acids.
These are your bodies backup crew. They usually can be
produced by your body as long as you're healthy and
(06:50):
you're eating a balanced diet. They include alanine, arginine, glutamic acid,
and aspartic acid. They handle crucial tests energy production, detoxification,
cellular repair. But here's the kicker. Just because they're non
essential does not mean they're unimportant. If your diet is
(07:11):
lacking your bodies under stress, these amino acids become just
as vital. Then you've got the conditional essential amino acids.
This is when your body's facing illness, injury, chronic stress,
or intense training and suddenly it cannot produce enough of
these And these are like arginine and glutamine, and they
(07:32):
become conditional. And a lot of people take these amino
acids separately as a supplement. So even every protein you
make from your muscle to your immune system, it's only
as strong as that pool of amino acids that are
available in the right ratios, and if you're short, protein
(07:55):
synthesis slows or even stops, so the complete proteins. Like
I said, these come from animal proteins. Unapologetic about this,
This is where I look to wild animal proteins like
wild icon, elk, venison, lamb, wildfish, because most plant proteins
(08:19):
fall short of one or more. And I'm on Instagram,
I start looking at the protein bars because I really
like to have one that tastes good, that doesn't rip
up my gut, and that actually has good quality protein.
They either have a whole bunch of fake fat that
doesn't get digested. A very popular bar and I'm going
(08:40):
to speak about it. This is the David Bar, and
I was super excited when I saw it because it
has a great profile of the protein and the fat
and a lower calorie. And I thought, huh, why am
I bloated after I eat them? Why do my stools
look very strange? Well, they use a fat that doesn't
get digested by the body. There's been studies also saying
(09:04):
that it has less protein and more fat than it
says on the package. We don't even know where the
protein source from. So yeah, I would love for someone
to tell me there's a really good quality protein bar
that doesn't hurt my stomach and is made from whole protein,
from wild animal protein that has the healthy fats and
(09:28):
the healthy amino acids and the right ratios. But a
lot of these protein powders, hemp soy pea protein, they're
not complete. They're not going to be absorbed as well
as wild animal protein or animal protein in general. And
this is where you also want to look at how's
your gut, because if your gut isn't good and it's
(09:51):
you've got a leaky gut, you're not going to absorb
those nutrients as well either. So once you eat protein
or digestive system breaks it down into individual amino acids.
But like I said, if your digestive system is off,
then that might not be working right and these amino
acids might not be absorbed. But if it is healthy,
(10:11):
these amino acids are absorbed, reassembled and then put out,
so they're repackaged, they're put out to where they need
to go, to your hair, your muscles, whatever it is.
From appairing those tissues, producing hormones, fueling your brain DETOXI
find your liver so one of the big benefits of
(10:32):
essential amino acids are muscle building and recovery. So when
it comes to that muscle building, a lot of people
look to the BCAAs, which now a lot of people
now realize that those are not sufficient. Loosing isoleucine and valid.
They have earned that spotlight because they make up about
a thirty five percent of muscle tissue and triggle trigger
(10:54):
muscle protein synthesis. Loosing in particular activates that powerful m
tour pathway, telling the bad body it's time to build muscle.
Research shows that this can reduce These BCAAs, can reduce
post exercise soreness by up to thirty three percent and
help maintain a positive protein balance. But this is the problem.
(11:18):
By taking just those three amino acids, it's like trying
to build a house with three tools, and a lot
of studies are now showing that it could actually encourage
fat gain and not muscle gain. You need all nine
essential amino acids for that muscle growth, and they need
to be packaged in the right ratios at the right time.
(11:40):
So these amino acids are the raw materials that rebuild
and repair muscle fibers, protect against muscle breakdown, support those
long term strength gains. These are important for my nineteen
year old daughter who's an athlete, my son who's in
his twenties and trying to continue to build muscle at
forty nine, who's trying to maintain muscle mass as we
(12:03):
get older, as women lose it, and it helps us
with longevity. Muscle is directly correlated to longevity, So you
want that adequate amino acid intake. It supports muscle growth
but also helps regulate body fat. So who doesn't want
(12:24):
that muscle up fat down. It's not about the scale,
the bathroom scale. It can go down and you can
gain fat and lose muscle at the same time. I've
seen it happen. So this is where I like to
use the body pod, the Human body Pod. I'll put
the link below to get a twenty percent discount if
you want. It's been a game changer in my household
(12:45):
because even if the scale goes up, and frankly, every
time the scale goes up, I see my muscle go
up and fat stay stay down, and it's like, Okay,
I'm looking at the scale and the number in a
completely different way than we were trained as girls. Growing
up with those bathroom scales that tell you nothing, drink
a glass of water, you weigh more. So timing also matters,
(13:09):
so you want to take these amino acids before and
after your workouts to accelerate recovery, reduced muscle damage, shorten
the downtime, you can train harder, and you feel better
post workout. Also, your muscles are prime to absorb those
amino acids and rebuild and so that you are able
(13:29):
to do more the next day. This anabolic window is
your opportunity to feed your body what it needs. And
a lot of times people use essential amino acid supplements
during fasting windows because they want to maintain their muscle
mass while they're fasting, which is a prime time. Actually
a lot of people see muscle lots, so it's great
(13:52):
for that balance of keeping your muscle on while you're
losing fat, and then for exercise performance. It's also great
because they're not just for building muscle. They're a game
changer for performance, endurance, and recovery. And studies have shown
that these essential amino acids and their composition can reduce
(14:12):
perceived exertion during high intensity exercise by as much as
fifteen percent that means your workout feels better, you'll push harder,
and you'll get better results. Who doesn't want that? So
recovery also is where the magic happens when your body
gets enough of the essential amino acids. So that's when
you're after your workout. Right when we're resting, the metabolism
(14:35):
is burning up and those essential amino acids are being
soaked into the muscles, repairing everything so that you get stronger.
So a lot of on top of that, some of
the amino acids, especially loosine, ignites fat burning. But you
don't want to just take loosing by itself, because what
did I say? They have to be packaged together and
(14:58):
then amino acid. It's a really important for your immune system.
That's why when you're in the hospital or you are sick,
it's really important to be focusing on your protein. These
tiny little building blocks form the foundation of every immune
cell and antibody and signaling protein that your body needs
(15:19):
to fight off the threats and recover from illness. Histidine,
it's a precursor to histamine, a critical compound for inflammation
and wound healing. Three and nine keeps your gut barrier strong,
which is your first line of defense against harmful microbes, right,
so this is very important for your immune system. It's
(15:40):
also really important for wound healing and recovery. So this
is the truth. Your body can only work as fast
as the raw materials you give it, and amino acids
are the basic building blocks, the basic raw materials, and
research backs this up. Supplementing with amino acids, especially orgining
and glutamine, has been shown to dramatically reduce surgical complications
(16:03):
and even lower mortality rates in trauma patients. There you go.
It also boosts collagen production, improves blood flow. To the
side of the healing collagen isn't just about your skin
and your hair, it's about recovery. Other amino acids, lysine,
proleine three in nine glycine plays star role in that
(16:24):
collagen and elastin. So it's that skin. It's keeping us
youthful from the inside out, something that botox and fillers
can't do. You got to get the glow from the
inside out, right. These the amino acid glycine is not
only for collagen synthesis, but it also is really important
for neurotransmitters that help with sleep and so many of
(16:47):
you are not sleeping, which supports overall recovery, because if
sleep isn't happening, it doesn't matter about anything else. Amino
Acids are amazing, as I mentioned, for your metabolism and
weight managed. The way your body burns fat, preserves muscle,
and regulates appetite has far less to do with calories
in and calories out, far more to do with nutrient quality.
(17:11):
When your body takes in amino acids, it says, huh,
I'm getting what I need. I can keep the metabolism high,
I can burn fat, and I can build muscle. When
you're on a cloric restrictive diet or you're eating junk food,
the body's not getting those signals, and so it actually
(17:31):
might slow down its metabolism. It might increase the fat storage.
It's really a game changer. It's not about calories. So methionine,
this is an essential amino acid that's key for fat
metabolism and liver detoxification. That is really important. I always
talk about your liver. Your liver is where fat metabolism
(17:53):
and protein breakdown muscle or protein metabolism happens. If your
liver's off, these things aren't going to happen. So if
you want to shed the fat and build the muscle,
you got to take care of your liver too. Weld
mythiaone's part of that. You know, Accelerated liver care is
a game changer as well, and works really well with
essential amino acids. So quality of protein is paramount. I
(18:18):
always say supplements are supplement to a diet. I focus
on wild animal protein and it's not that much more
expensive if at all you get ground lamb or ground
bison or ground venison. It's the same as ground beef.
You can order it online from a lot of different companies.
I Loveforce offnature dot com. They've got great tasting meat,
(18:41):
and you know it's high quality, it's more nutrient dense,
it's got the amino acids that are more bioavailable. That
is where my basis of my diet is. And with
that protein, you have this thermic effect, the extra calories
your body burns digesting and processing. You don't get that
from the vegan protein shake. You don't get that from
(19:05):
even away protein shake. You want to eat the real
animal protein. You'll feel yourself heat up when you eat meat.
Complete amino acids also calm near hunger hormones. You know
how you eat some meals and you're like, oh, I'm good,
I don't need to eat you more, and then some
meals you're You're like, I'm still hungry. It's talking to
(19:25):
someone this morning, she's a vegan. I said, yeah, I
had this raw vegan meal one time and it tasted fine,
but an hour later I was starving. So this is
where you can then supplement, especially if you're vegan. You
can take all of the benefits of essential amino acids
to another level with accelerated aminos. And this is a
(19:48):
supplement that I came out with, not for just anybody.
It is amazing for everybody. It's amazing for my nineteen
year old daughter, it's amazing for my son who's in
his twenties. It's amazing for my husband in his fifties.
But I designed it for us women in perimenopause and menopause.
Why because we're not eating enough protein and we're gaining
(20:12):
fat and losing our muscle, and we need a supplement
that's easy to take but takes the amino acid profile
to a whole other level. I've been taking the most
popular supplements the amino acid supplements for a very long time.
But then I was wondering, why am I retaining water?
(20:34):
Why can't I take my rings off my finger? Why
am I feeling boat? Because these other amino acid supplements
had fillers toxins that my body did not like. So
accelerated aminos has no fillers, has no toxins, and it
is just the pure ingredients intended to benefit your body.
So we put in the nine essential amino acids, right.
(21:00):
What we do is we add in some ingredients, some
cofactor ingredients that take it to another level. HMB. It's
a metabolite of lusine and it helps with muscle maintenance
and repair, and so it's stimulating that muscle protein synthesis. Estrogen.
No one uses this. This repairs your gut. This is
(21:22):
a gut formula, helps with leaky get It enhances the
absorption of all your nutrients, but of the essential amino
acids by forty one percent, So you are getting more
bang for your buck with that serving of essential amino acids.
It's a proprietary blend and it increases all amino acids, vitamins,
and minerals by up to sixty six percent depending on
(21:45):
the mineral or vitamin you're talking about. It's strength ins
that gut lining, enhances the nutrient transport across the intestinal cells,
and it helps with that absorption of all of the
amino acids in the accelerated aminos sinactive. It is a
natural extract that helps promote healthy aging, your performance, faster recovery.
(22:07):
It helps increase the exercise capacity, so you are going
to work out harder and get better results from your workout. Okay, gee,
I used to take this when I was really trying
to put on a lot of muscle. It is. It
plays a key role in that muscle repair, gut healing,
immune systems, and supports that anabolic activity TMG, which is
(22:31):
really important for methylation and metabolic support, detoxification, erotic acid.
It helps with ATP production. We're only as alive as
our ATP in our mitochondria in our cells, and it
helps with the muscle growth. So with accelerated aminos you
get the nine essential amino acids with those other ingredients,
(22:53):
and that synergy helps with muscle growth, faster recovery, and
really important if you're on a chloric diet, if you're
trying to lose fat and keep your muscle or gain
muscle at the same time. If you are on a
weight loss drug, this is a game changer. If you
are a vegan or a vegetarian, or you just don't
like to eat meat, it's a game changer. Get that
(23:15):
fat loss without compromising the muscle lean tissue, and you
will not have any fillers or anything else in there. Now,
what is important for that protein synthesis to pair with
it with the amino acids is the acceleradine iodine. So
iodine supports the thyroid gland. You're going to have no
(23:37):
protein synthesis or fat burning with your low thyroid and
most of you are suffering from low thyroid. So the
thyroid gland produces the hormones that regulate the metabolism, energy levels,
and protein synthesis. So if you have no energy, you're
not going to go to the gym in the first place.
That's where accelerated aminos and acceleradine iodine come to together
(24:00):
to help with your energy production, muscle maintenance, increase the
fat loss, and you just feel better. So hopefully this
was helpful. Thanks for tuning in to Accelerated Health with
Sarah bant I. Hope you've got some inspiration to try
accelerated aminos iodine, but really understand the importance of protein
(24:21):
regardless of what diet you're on. And also to make
sure you're paying attention to your gut and your liver,
because we're only as good as what we're absorbing, and
those two things are really important. You can go to
