Like today, the viral internal shower trend. It's missing the
mark and it could actually backfire. Every few months, a

new detox trend floods social media. I was talking to
my husband about this yesterday, goes why are there so
many health experts or gurus or influencers throwing out the
new diet? The new trend knew this and that it's
because our food systems hijacked everyone's overweight and inflamed, and
chronic diseases are going through the roof, and bloat and
(01:36):
constipation and gut issues are at the cornerstone of all
of it. So of course we're going to try anything.
And these things get put out on social media and
then you go, well, maybe I should try it. I've
tried everything else. Metamucil doesn't work. Believe me, my rock
bottom Crohn's disease, constipation, bloat, I had no digestion. I

am the one that started my business because of this issue.
Way before. So many others had this issue, and it's
over fifty percent of women that suffer from constipation. Well,
people will gravitate towards these because they're frustrated. I get it.
I tried everything, but this is where you're missing the

mark on this new one. Digestive systems appear in the gut,
but detoxification starts up in the liver. And a fiber drink, yes,
we all need fiber, but fiber could backfire. It could
move your stools temporarily, but it does nothing to correct
the reason you're backed up in the first place. Sluggish fileflow,

toxic overload, liver congestion, impaired detoxification pathways. This is why
so many people feel better maybe if this works for
a few hours, only to crash and have worse symptoms
than ever afterwards. So what is the internal shower. It's
a basic recipe and that's why it's going viral because

you could do it in your kitchen. Two tablespoons of
chia seeds superfood, right, maybe not, glass of water and
lemon juice. Thea is the chia seeds absorb water and expand, right,
forming a gel like mass that pushes material through the colon.
So it's going to come like the cabos and push

everything through. While the chia's may be healthy for some people,
maybe not, it's not a detox tool and for many
people can actually make your symptoms worse. So the experts
are warning about a few things. They must be fully soaked,
and when they come in contact with that liquid, it

expands up to twelve times its size. If the seeds
are swallowed before fully hydrating, they can expand inside your throat, esophagus,
or gut, and there have already been documented cases of
and intestinal blockages. Not what you want, and then too
much fiber irritates a compromise gut, which most of you have.

So if you have any of the following conditions, that
internal shower can trigger an immediate of flare and that's

your liver. The internal shower is like running water down
a sink to fix the clogged pipe, and if the

They're very high in oxalates. These are naturally occurring compounds
in plants that accumulate in the tissues. They can cause hypothyroidism,

in chia seeds, almonds, spinach, beats, sesame seeds, but gia

your thyroid. Your thyroid metabolism are slow. You just feel

not gonna help. It's really not great for your thyroid metabolism,

promote mold A lot of times. They're stored in warehouses,
processing facilities for months, and they're sensitive to moisture, so
that is also a consideration. So these chia seeds, they're

high in the oxalates, high in mold, and they could
actually backfire on your gut. So what do you do instead? Now, yes,
you want to clean the bottom pipes before you clean
the pop pipe, tight the top pipes. So constipation. You
could reach for magnesium, you could reach for lax of comfort.
Lax of comfort is the go to for you who

have severe constipation issues. But then you have to address
the liver. Why are we so compromised? Why are our
guts suffering glyphysate, the microplastics, the fluoride, chlorine, bromide, heavy metals, mold, toxins,
seed oils, pesticides, all of these things are just backing
up our detox pathways, and our bodies don't know what

to do. That is why it is so rampant today
and it wasn't for our grandparents. Our food is not
real food anymore. So this toxic load thickens the bile,
congests the liver, disrupts your hormones, overwhelms your detox pathways.
Then you have this digestive distress, fatigue, hormonal inbounds, skin issues.

Your liver is backed up. It says, hey, skin, I
need your help to get rid of these toxins in
the skin says hey, I'm here. I'll let you pull
all those toxins out of your skin and create psoriasis
and acne and roseatia, all of those things. And then

is where you burn fat. Your liver is where your
T four convert into T three, your thyroid hormones, that
is where your metabolism is and inflammation. So no amount
of chia, seeds or fiber can undo this. So what
do you do? How does real detox work? Phase one,

gets through the bile and the colon. If the bile
