Speaker 2 (00:31):
Could your kidney health actually be affecting your dementia risk?
Oh my goodness, no one thinks about their kidneys. Welcome
to Accelerated Health of Sarah Banta, the show where we
cut through the noise fast track your journey to real,
lasting health. I'm your host, Sarah, certified nutritionists and founder
of Accelerated Health Products. Every week, I share the science

(00:53):
backed supplements, detoc strategies, and wellness tools that actually work.
So let's dive in. We're talking about a ground breaking
study out of Sweden that reveals something we've never talked about.
Kidney dysfunction is a major contributor to dementia, not because

(01:14):
kidney disease causes dementia. And by the way, this hits
close to home. I've had a family member on dialysis
and kidney failure, so it's one of those things that
no one talks about. We talk about the brain, the liver,
the gut, all the things, the thyroid, but never the kidneys.
I know when I'm stressed out and my adrenals are

(01:36):
swollen and pumping out that cortisol, my kidney's inflame and
I retain water. The kidneys are so interconnected with our
whole body. So this is what I talk about all
the time. Kidneys, liver, thyroid, mitochondria. They determine how quickly
we age. And here we are talking about anti aging

(01:57):
supplements and peptides. Let's get to the base people. They
affect how well we detox and how well we protect
our brain.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
So let's break it down. What did the study found find?

Speaker 2 (02:09):
It found that researchers or they looked at twenty two
hundred older adults, all neurologically healthy at the start, over
eight years. They tracked kidney function, blood levels of neurodegenerative proteins,
cognitive outcomes. What did they find there? The poor kidney

(02:31):
function did not cause dementia alone, but if neurodegeneration markers
were already elevated, impaired kidney filtration nearly doubled the risk
of dementia. I'm sitting here with both Alzheimer's genes. You
better believe I am paying attention to this study. In

(02:53):
other words, if there is a spark, poor filtration pours
gasoline on it. So why does this happen? The failing
kidneys cannot clear inflammatory proteins and toxins, just like the liver,
allowing harmful compounds to circulate and damage the brain. This
is why our detox is so important. This toxic overload

(03:17):
injures the brain tissue, causing even more neurodegenerative proteins to
spill into the bloodstream, and this creates a feedback loop,
a vicious cycle of inflammatory toxins and then the toxic
accumulation in the body. So why are our modern detox
pathways so overwhelmed and why is this becoming a thing

(03:40):
now in twenty twenty five, twenty twenty six instead of
twenty years ago. We've got so many toxins in our world,
our air, our food, are water, halogens, heavy metals, environmental toxins,
the fluoride in our water, the bromide in our bread,
chlorine in our pools, graphine oxide from the pandemic aluminum radiation, pesticides.

(04:08):
These compounds compete with iodine, and we no longer have
enough iodine in our bodies, in our soils, in our diets,
and the iodine sources are typically contaminated with heavy metals
coming from the sea or Asia where they've been exposed
to Fukushima.

Speaker 3 (04:28):
Not a good thing.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
These compounds compete with iodine. They damage our mitochondria, and
when our mitochondria die, we die. We age faster in
the brain and the body, and they accumulate in the
detox organs and the brain. Then you've got the liver congestion.
The liver becomes sluggish from the processed foods, which accounts

(04:51):
for seventy percent of our diet now.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Stress and cortisol.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Even when you're eating clean and exercising, doing all the
right things, we are in chronic stress. Those cell phones,
the instagram, the hits, the financial stress, the kids, the
elderly parents, the husbands, the hormones, menopause.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
All the things right.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
And if our thyroid's not working because we don't have
enough iodine for our thyroid and we have no energy
to get out of bed, no energy to do our day,
you don't think we're going to be more stressed about
getting more done. When your adrenals are tapped, you use
more iodine and more salt, and your detox pathways are sluggish,

(05:36):
like everything. Your energy is low, well, your energy for
detox is low. You're constipated, you're retaining water, your lymphatic
drainage isn't working. Then you've got that alcohol. Because a
lot of you and us, me included, we use things
to cope, alcohol being one of them, gambling, pornography, drugs,

(06:00):
whatever it is. Medications. Those medications hit our liver, the EMFs,
those things that we can't see. They're stressing us more
than ever. I mean literally, I had this conversation with
my son this morning that it's so much better to
wake up, work out and then look at your phone,
not wake up and look at your phone.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
That's no good.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
And they are environmental toxins that we can't even name
because we can't even pronounce them. When the liver slows down,
toxins recirculate, the kidneys become overwhelmed. We talk about the
liver being that detox organ but right next to it
is the kidneys. The kidneys have to filter everything lo

(06:43):
mitochondria function. When them mitochondria and the ATP drop, kidney
filtration slows down, liver clearance weakends, brain inflammation increases, cognitive
decline accelerates. And this is why mitochondria health is central
to dementia prevention. And this is why all the anti

(07:05):
agers out there, the influencers are trying to hit you
with some supplements or some peptides that are going to
help with your mitochondria and your anti aging. But we've
got to look at the foundation. So why does this
study matter. Dementia risk is driven less by genetics and
more by your detoxification pathways. People were going to go

(07:30):
into the new year and everyone's going to want to
do that three day guse cleanse to lose some weight.
But detox isn't just about weight. Weight's a symptom of
being toxic. Our brains, our gut, our cells need that
detox on a daily basis, all year round, not just

(07:51):
in January when you sign up.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
For the new gym membership.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
And this is where the supplements can help you those
pathways so you feel like a fine tuned machine. And
I have to tell you, even supplements ninety five percent
of the supplements out there, especially the ones on Amazon,
are junk filled with mold and bacteria and ingredients that
may not even be on the label. Those things can

(08:18):
cause a backup in your liver too. I've seen it
in my own body. I've tested different supplements, going why
am I so puffy? Why can't I take my rings
off my fingers? Why are my ankles swollen? That's my
body saying, hey, what you just did. I don't like it.
Even those healthy foods like the oxalates and sulfur I
talk about those oxleates are really hard on your kidneys.

(08:43):
They cause the kidney stones. I've passed a kidney stone.
I've had three children. I'd rather have a fourth than
go through another passing of a kidney stone. Your kidneys,
you gotta love those just as much as you love
your liver. And these formulas we're going to talk about,
strengthen the.

Speaker 3 (09:02):
Liver and kidney filtration.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Improve the mitochondrial function away from the peptides and all
the high text stuff that's out there. Reduce systemic inflammation
even in the brain. Bind and eliminate those circulating toxins.
Support your thyroid and metabolic pathways. Your thyroids, the master
intocrine gland, it's controlling everything. When it's slow, everything slow.

(09:27):
That's why you've got to tackle your thyroid health, regardless
of what else you're tackling. Number one, accelerating iodine. So
iodine is the backbone of detoxification and mitochondrial energy. It
is needed for your thyroid health. That T four T
three stands for tiracine and four and three molecules of iodine.

(09:48):
You cannot have a metabolism without iodine. You cannot have
metabolism without that T three. Being healthy, you need to
Idine helps cleanse the liver, cleanse the kidneys, and detoxes
the brain. So many people say, oh my gosh, the
brain FOG's lifted just with the accelerating iodine, and it

(10:12):
will help with that full body energy. Cleaning out the
blood so the liver can do its job, detoxes the fluoride,
the bromide, the chlorine, the aluminum, the graphine oxide. And
guess what else, It bypasses that P fifty three gene.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
What's that?

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Well, that P fifty three gene has been suppressed by
what happened during the pandemic. And when it's suppressed, those
disease cells, including cancer cells, have no backstop. Those cancer cells.
Oh well, I just will keep on multiplying where that
P fifty three gene says, oh, I see something out there,

(10:53):
I need to destroy it. Well, iodine bypasses that, and
that's where you get six sass from a supplement to
bypass what we all went through a few years ago,
me included. Doesn't matter who you are, we have all
been exposed to the spike. Protein Idine helps with that

(11:14):
ATP production with inside the mitochondria, increases the cell's energy.
It also supports that cell membrane to allow the toxins
out in the nutrients in that cell membrane as an IODO,
lipid value, idne, and fat. That's what it's made up of.

(11:34):
That's why taking a supplement like phosphatidyl coaling is also
important to support the fat part of that cell membrane,
the healthy fat, not the McDonald's fat. It helps with
the kidney and liver filtration, your metabolic clearance.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
It is one of the.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Most powerful tools for stopping toxic build up before it
reaches the brain. And if I was on a deserted
island and I could take one supplement, it would be
accelerate Iiniodine number two Accelerated Liver Care OH liver supplement
right well liver and kidneys and so many other things.

(12:13):
When the filtration slows, toxins accumulate, and so this formula
both targets the liver and the kidneys. Cooke Tea is
a powerful anti inflammatory, reduces kidney strain, philanthus supports kidney
filtration and urinary flow. Tugka protects the mitochondria, reduces liver inflammation,

(12:34):
Eclipta stabilizes the filtration markers, and so many more. They
are helping with the gluteed thion naturally within the body.
Taking a glue to thion supplement can actually backfire and
is not very stable. So you want to actually help
your body produce its own glue to thion for protection.

(12:56):
It's got that melkistle in there to do so. Palper
Era reduces the viral and inflammatory load. It also has
studies against cirrhosis and even liver cancer. And you've got
the calcium de glucorate to bind up the excess bad
estrogens that are being recycled and causing that estrogen dominance

(13:18):
in both your men and your women. Why our young
men have testosterones in the tank and why our older
men have man boobs and our women are going through
horrific symptoms from menopause. That's that estrogen dominance. So accelerated
liver care very high concentrations of the herbed herbs, so

(13:40):
we've tested the synergy of them in the different ratios
to get the best output. It helps purify the blood,
remove the inflammatory proteins, improve that bile flow to get
the toxins out, enhance that toxic clearance, and reduces the
systemic inflammation in your brain and helps prevent that kidney overload.

(14:04):
So essentially, clean blood, a protected brain. Accelerated liver care
is a game changer for everybody. It even helps with
your digestion and your poopy. So for those of you
who are so constipated, the combination between the accelerated liver
care and now the accelerated cellular detox powder is going

(14:25):
to help with that too. But if the kidneys are
the filters, the accelerated cellular detox powder is the sponge
that catches the toxins before they even reach the filters.
How many of you women have had their husbands come
to their bathroom sinks going it's clogged because of all
that hair that has fallen out, and it's in the

(14:47):
sink and it's clogging the drain. Well, you can't have
a filter work if it's clogged, right, things are going
to back up, So we're going to catch the toxins
before they even have to be filtered through the burden
on the liver and the kidneys. It binds the right radiation,
the halogens, heavy metals, micotoxins, microplastics, environmental toxins, and then

(15:11):
the inflammatory proteins. So this is going to reduce the
circulating toxins, cleansing the liver and the kidney and lowering
that brain inflammation. It breaks the toxic cycle right. This
is what is identified in this dementia study number four.
People talk about accelerated methylne blue for cognition focus mitochondrial health,

(15:35):
but did you know what goes through the urinary track
the kidneys. It is so great for kidneys, brain mitochondria,
for your mitochondria. It increases the ATP and the kidneys
and the brain cells, reduces oxidative damage throughout the whole body,
improves your detox efficiency and supports your cellular repair. And

(15:58):
in the urinary track it cleanses the bladder and urinary pathways,
reduces that pathogenic load because it's the antiviral, antibacterial, all
the things, and helps get rid of those toxins and
protects the kidney tissue from inflammation. So then you're going
to also get from the methylene blue.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
For your brain.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
It helps with the cerebral oxygenation. Your brain can't work
without oxygen. It helps the neurotransmitter functions, reduces the amyloid
and tel related oxidative stress that is related to Alzheimer's
and dementia, and it helps with your cognition on a
short term and a long term basis. I've had a

(16:43):
very sensitive customer who can't take a lot of supplement.
She took one drop of the methylene blue and she's like,
oh my gosh, my brain just woke up. I felt
so good, My energy was great. Now the dosage is
higher than one dose, but that just shows how powerful
it is. So what are we taking away from this study?

(17:06):
Dementia is not inevitable, And believe me, I could get
really depressed with my genetic predisposition. When I went to
my practitioner at my rock bottom, he says, Sarah, your
constitution is the worst I've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (17:20):
You are a salmon swimming upstream and.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
At the age of almost fifty next month, I feel
better than I've ever felt. My energy is stable throughout
the day, I'm sleeping well, my stress is low. My
or ring tells me it can't lie to me and
my human band. I've got so many things telling me,
so I can't lie to myself about how I'm really doing.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
And I feel great.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Because these things are not ine inevitable. These supplements will
help the liver, kidneys, thyroid, mitochondria, and your detox, not
just on January one, all year long. I take all
of these supplements on a daily basis. I make these
supplements selfishly for me and my family and then share

(18:07):
them with you because there's nothing like them. So we
can dramatically reduce the toxic burden that accelerates that cognitive decline.
And you know, you're not going to worry about your
weight loss goals when you have Alzheimer's or dementia. Your
family is going to worry about having to take care
of you. And that's where we need to think. You know,

(18:29):
these things are going to help you on a daily basis,
make you feel good today, but also they're so great
for long term prevention. Now, of course, you want to
eliminate the oxalates that are really hard on the kidneys,
eliminate the amyloid proteins in chicken and poultry that are
now in our feed and our diet, and those are

(18:53):
the foods that are supposedly healthy away from the ultra
processed food. So we have to be very careful with
what we put in our mouth, supplements, food water, what
we're cooking in It's overwhelming, I know, but these are
the tools that you can use to make you more
resilient so you don't have to worry so much and

(19:14):
you can actually live life.
