Speaker 1 (00:00):
Very calm, very relaxed.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
I've never been called calm or relaxed in my life.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Stop that I'm being. Yeah, I'm being somewhat ironic here.
You've burst in here like a like a wild fire.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
I have embraced my ADHD and I love every second
of it. And if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't
be who I am today. I also the medication I'm
on because that saves me getting even worth it.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
Okay, far too much information, far, far too much information,
but anyway, we love you.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Now.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I am really looking forward to this Parker to fight,
because Parker's looking fine. Dubaya is a beast, and you know,
there's stuff on the line, and now Alexander Usik is
talking about it.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Well, it's an IBF title fights and they're going to
fight for that, and then whoever wins that gets the fight,
because is going to retire in a couple of fights.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
And Lusik has said that, he said, I will fight
the winner, boy Parker, that's the right.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
And then of course he'll put his belts on the
line too, which he meant to let go of the
IBF belt because he wasn't going to front up again
in the next contender because he wanted to fight and
beat up Tyson.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Fury to make money.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, granted when it would make him a huge amount
of money. And now he can retire quite happy at
thirty eight, thirty nine, whenever retires. What it means though,
these two guys have got a chance to get this
un disputed, this reunification going on again. That's a massive But,
like Joseph Parker said to Dubois, because Dubois and a
press conference was talking about, you know, my next fight,

(01:24):
my next fight, and where I'm going, and park Is like, mate,
I'd focus on what you got right in front of you.
I wouldn't get too like concerned about that because it's
one other time.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
But when Dubois beat Joshua, he knew that he was
going to do Joshua again, except Joshua went.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
I don't want to do that again. You know.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
So he's been he's been in a training schedule. Joseph
has kind of been in a training schedule. Bet he's
still he got the late notice, so yeah, he might
be the most concentrated on the next fight. But you know, Dubois.
Never underestimate Dubois. He's got fistive granted.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
The one he has until he fought Joe Joyce, and
Joe Joyce just jabbed as I for five rounds and
it wasn't eight. And then as I exploded and that
was all over.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
And Joseph Parker beat Joe Joyce, yes, and he also
lost to Joe Joyce.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
He lost to Joe Joyce, and so he didn't beat
and he got that was his one two was third defeat.
I think it was for Joe Parker. The difference in
Joe Parker mentally and physically and his position in life
right now, he's matured hugely as an athlete and a person,
and the way he pulled apart Jang and the way
he demolished Deonte Wilder, the way he paced his fight

(02:29):
and with his new nutritionist Whosa is an ex US
marine guy. I mean, he's quite something else. So strength
and conditioning is hugest new coach is huge. I like
what he's doing. Should he get to use but first
and foremost a weekend of its time. He's got to
get passed through by it, and that will be fireworks.
That's going to be a great fight.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
And in fact, I see the press all over the
world is starting to say this should be the headline fight.
It's not. It's the second on the car, second to
the last on the card. It should be the headline fight.
It's going to be a cracker and the New Zealander
is in it and that was great. Now new rugby
league teams. We've heard about South Island bids and then
someone yesterday was banging on about how there should be
a Pacific A team. Now apparently someone else one day
second Auckland team.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Have you got consortium fatigue? Because I have. They're everywhere
every time you look up. I found a couple in
the back of the couch. Look, we're going to talk
to the bid lead tonight on Sports Talk. His name
I suddenly completely forgot what I was saying about, but
his name is. I gotta start, I gotta, I gotta start.

(03:35):
I'm gonna start focussing. It's going to be joining us
tonight to talk about what this is. So embarrassed you,
That's what I mean. Sometimes my mind just goes off
into another place where they play. His name is Jeff Brown.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Just you forget a name, well you.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Look, it's one more and it's a very crowded market
over the Auckland sporting space to get more backsides and
more eyeballs on another team. Look, I wish them the best,
but Landers wanted nothing to do with the three South
Island Bends bids and so why would this be any.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Dickersent nothing ventured, nothing, one.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
No, absolutely, But that's a hard fight. I think they
don't want to happen at Eton Park. Wayne Brown is
pretty keen on it. Fredick Boy's been behind it too.
You've got a number of people who want it to happen,
but like, will it actually happen?

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Well, we can make our minds up tonight because you're
talking to this fellow that you only just remember the
name of Jeff Brown.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Jeff Brown.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
There we go.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
I was thinking of JB. There's a G in it,
so Jeff ye?

Speaker 1 (04:42):
Okay? Does he ort to grade from seven?

Speaker 2 (04:46):
