D'Arcy Waldegrave: Sportstalk host on Liam Lawson facing backlash from Sergio Perez fans after racer was dropped by Red Bull

Liam Lawson might have his nose in front, but Red Bull insist no decision has been locked in over Sergio Perez's vacant seat for 2025.

The Mexican driver has negotiated an exit from the Formula 1 team after a poor year, with the Kiwi vying against Yuki Tsunoda for the birth.

on his contract with Honda Engines who power red Ball,
and then in twenty twenty six he'll be moving to
Aston Martin, who have the Honda engine supply for that year.
They've also taken a guy called Adrian Newey from Red
Bull who's the best designer to ever walk the earth.
So I'm looking at this here a Red Bull really

going to give their number one seat with Max vers
Stappen to a guy who's leaving in a year, going
to the opposition and joining up with someone who left
red Ball last year. There's no way for me. That
just comes together and says Liam, You've got the job.

But he's got hatus doesn't He is that because he's
been quite outspoken in the media in the last couple
of months about you know, I want this, I want that,
