Speaker 1 (00:04):
Welcome to the Brian Mud Show. Thanks for listening. Passion
plus talent is unstoppable. It's time for today's top three takeaways.
RFK Junior is right. HHS is a mess. They might
takeaways today, and of course, we continue to follow the
(00:24):
horrific midair collision between an Army Blackhawk helicopter with three
service members aboard in training above Reagan National Airport and
a chugger flight that had sixty four people board, sixty
passengers including multiple members of the US figure skating team.
(00:46):
It was on the approach to Reagan that collision the
resulted in the horrific explosion. You have over three hundred
members first responders on the ground in the water now
sorting through debris. Keep you posting. My top takeaway for
you today is that RFK Junior is right. Wednesday was
(01:11):
RFK Junior's first day to go before a Senate committee
and to take a beating, I mean to have a hearing.
He's got another beating to go today as part of
his confirmation process. Now, I was particularly interested in this one,
not because it was RFK or because it was being
news during the day, but because of the many federal
(01:32):
government agencies the many federal government agencies that fail us.
Among them, right at the top, there's perhaps none more
corrupt than this department and its agencies Health and Human Services.
By now you're well aware of how this agency and
(01:55):
its various bodies like the National Institutes of Health the
CDC abused taxpayer money and literally funded the Wuhan lab
where COVID nineteen was almost certainly born. By now you're
well aware that the NIH and CDC then alied to
us first about any connections to the Wuhan Lab, then
about the origins of COVID nineteen. By now you're well
(02:15):
aware that the NIH, FDA, and CDC then allied to
us about COVID nineteen vaccines, first about efficacy, then about
the side effects associated with them. And actually, I'm going
to circle back to that last one, because some still
may not actually know the extent of the side effects
associated with COVID nineteen vaccines, and I think that's important
to know since they're still being peddled as safe and
(02:37):
effective treatments. Here's a quick refresh from what my research
revealed nearly two years ago. I brought this to you
in February of twenty twenty three, data from Florida's Vaccine
Adverse Event Reporting System has shown that COVID nineteen vaccines
during the first two years of use have been four
hundred and twenty five percent less safe than you or
(03:00):
average other vaccination of any kind and causing adverse medical
reactions and a staggering one thousand, one hundred percent less
safe than the average other vaccine and causing life threatening
reactions and Floridians who've received them. Other than that, they're great.
(03:21):
So if you didn't know, now you do, and you
can always refer by the way to my COVID nineteen
vaccine bombshell story for more. I'll have all of my
old research on this stuff linked in this story My
takeaways today on the Priamucho blogs. You can check it
out if you want. But again, those are all subjects
that you've heard about before, and while they illustrate just
(03:42):
how incredibly important it is to meaningfully reform the Department
of Health and Human Services, it's actually just starting to
scratch the surface, because in reality, you need like no
further than what you eat. This is my second takeaway today.
You know, one of the many important areas where RFK
junior is exactly right is what the American food supply
(04:03):
and also the many lies about what it is even
that we should eat. And I promise you that I'm
not going to lecture you about what you eat. I
know nobody wants to hear that. Even if I try
to have constructive conversations with certain members of my own family,
don't want to have it, don't want to hear it.
But just as RFK Junior has said, you should know
(04:25):
what it is that you're eating. I mean, is it that,
at least reasonable free country, you choose what you're putt
in your mouth? But don't you think you should actually
know what that is? In some instances that means transparency
regarding what's really in processed foods. For example, how many
billions of McDonald's burgers had been eaten, for example, before
(04:46):
that twenty eleven pink slime controversy. You remember that, Remember
people suddenly realize what that's what it was like before
they cooked that thing up. What the controversy became such
a big deal that elect to McDonald's choosing to do
things differently than they had been doing with their chemically
(05:08):
infused meat byproducts. Is chemically infuse meat by product that
they had been serving. Mm hmmm, right, But then again,
you know, no one ever pounded a Mickey Disburger with
the thought that they were putting something healthy in their mouth.
(05:28):
That's where the biggest scam of all comes into play
with our food supply and even the recommendations by organizations
like the FDA and USDA. For example, did you know
that all processed meats are carcinogenic. There is no such
thing as the process meat that doesn't increase risk for
cancer period. Did you know that beef, lamb and pork
(05:55):
aside from the process meats, beef lamb and pork are
carcinogenic too. Take a look at what's recommended and available
as part of lunches, for example, in our schools. Maybe
that's why over one point seven million Americans contracts cancer,
with over six hundred thousand who dive cancer every year.
(06:19):
Did you know that one in twenty five packages of
chicken at grocery stores contain salmonilla? That's right, one out
of every twenty five. It is almost impossible to go
into a grocery store to go to a section where
there is chicken being sold without there being salmonilla. Almost
(06:40):
impossible one in twenty five on average have salmonilla. Did
you know that's considered the acceptable level? That sure helps
explain why one point four million Americans becomes sick with
salmonilla poisoning and four hundred and twenty die from it
every year. And again this isn't any food elect My
point is, does they you at least think you should
(07:02):
know these things? What you were told and at times
even recommended by these agencies commonly conflicts with what's actually healthy.
This is my third takeaway? And why is this the case?
Largely it's a lot being by food producers. Did you know,
for example, the original food Pyramid? And I've in very
isolated conversations because again, people don't want to have these conversations.
(07:26):
By and large, I've learned. I'm just trying to do
some high level informant of you and also kind of
where RFK Junior is coming from, because I am right
there with him on this. This has been such a
thing for so long and it's always upset me. Did
you know that the original food Pyramid does not exist anymore?
I'm curious, Schoul. You know I had to asked you
(07:47):
about this previously. Did you know that the original food
pyramid had been wiped out.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
I knew it doesn't we don't follow it anymore. We're
not supposed to follow it anymore. I did not know
the other background that you're about to share, Okay, but
you had been taught it in soil rising around it. Yeah,
the result few I always hammered it into my head as
a kid. I'm fifty five, yeah, so yeah.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
Well, and I'm forty four, but I was taught it.
In fact, I actually remember an elementary school being presented
with the food pyramid, and you know, part of a
test was you had to fill in what was recommended
in that pyramid and each one of those those blocks.
And if you you know, that's how important it was
that we we know that food pyramid. Well, did you
(08:29):
know that that food pyramid was exposed to have been
established at the behest of the food industry lobby. And
that's why the food pyramid that you grew up with,
the food pyramid that many of us, if not most
of us, were actually taught in school starting an elementary
school is something you don't see today. See the FDA
pulled that's so called eating Right pyramid in nineteen ninety one.
(08:53):
He was pulled in nineteen ninety one. I've come across
plenty of people again in very isolated conversations. I didn't
realize that it wasn't still in place today and believe
that what was on that pyramid back then, that was,
as you said, Joel drilled into them. That's what they're
supposed to be doing today. It was all part of
(09:14):
the pay for play scheme. The original food pyramid might
be gone, but those practices are still in place today.
The food lobby controls so much of what happens at
these agencies. They want their research funded, they want the
money coming in, and you have a lot of the
food companies that are more than happy to provide it.
I'm particularly passionate about this topic because of what I've studied,
(09:38):
both personally and professionally. Some know, many don't that in
a formal life, actually coinciding with the time that I
started my radio career, I was the founder of a
health food company. And what I studied, what I learned,
what I knew back then, which is at this point
going on thirty years ago, it changed forever my view
(10:01):
of things. It's one of those deals where once you
know about the food supply. Once you know what really
goes on, you cannot know. And I've seen the impact
even on my family with health problems. Yet the problem
with our food supply, it only continues to get worse.
That's the upsetting thing is like here we are the
information age, and it actually just keeps getting worse. There's
(10:23):
no such thing as a healthy ultra processed food. Any
ultra processed food is horrible for you. You can come across
some processed foods just process and that ultra that are
reasonably healthy based upon what it is and how it's processed.
But did you know that in twenty eighteen, sixty percent
(10:46):
of our food supply was ultra processed, and today it's
up to seventy three percent. Again twenty eighteen, just seven
years ago, sixty percent of our food supply was absolutely unhealthy,
and today seventy three percent of what you find in
the grocery store is absolutely unhealthy for you, independent of
(11:07):
any other factors, just because of how it was processed
and put there. So when nearly three quarters of the
food we eat is not healthy, what do you think
the outcome of that's going to be? And most people
don't even know. For example, the most lunch meats, including
those thoughts to be healthy, are ultra processed. Our health
(11:28):
agencies have a long history of not serving our health interests.
It wasn't just what happened with COVID nineteen. That's why
when RFK Junior says that he's not interested in telling
you what you should eat, but that you should know
what it is you're eating, for example, he's absolutely right.
These agencies are bloated, they're commonly conflicted, they're often ineffective.
(11:49):
In RFK Junior's opening statement, he said, should I be
so privileged as to be confirmed, we will make sure
our tax dollars support healthy foods. We will scrutinize the
chemical apps in our food supply. We will remove financial
conflicts of interest from our agencies, and we will create
an honest, unbiased, gold standard science at HHS, accountable to
(12:10):
the President, to Congress, and to the American people. We
will reverse the chronic disease epidemic and put the nation
back on the road to good health. To some folks,
that might just sound like, Okay, well, that sounds nice.
That is so critically important, so critical Nothing dictates our
health more on average than the food that we put
(12:33):
in our mouth. What he's talking about there is more
important than most people realize. He is absolutely right about
those issues and the need to address all those things.
Up to this point, you could have followed the guidance
of HHS's agencies and end up diseased from it. The
food that we eat every day is more important than
(12:55):
even the debate about vaccines, which, by the way, RFK
Junior also addressed by saying that he's vaccinated, his children
are vaccinated, and that he's not inherently an anti vaxxer.
He's anti certain vaccines and being discerning, as we've come
to learn, probably a good thing.
