of the Florida legislature that passed that by the way,
it stands with Governor DeSantis. Once Governor de Santis signs it,
it will become law and the renaming of that piece
of Southern But Florida's House Incendate have agreed to a
budget framework deal and are now extending the state legislative

per session for the purpose of passing the new budget.

So ways is going to go down.

Legislators are going to return to Tallahassee next Monday, the
twelfth for the next steps in that budget process. The
agreed to framework said to come in lower than Governor
DeSantis' per post budget, and one of the big debates
here had been, Okay, how are we going to handle
tax relief? Most of the tax relief looks to be
permanent and a reduction in state sales tax two point

eight billion dollars total tax relief with a permanent reduction
in Florida state sales tax. The highlight of that that
is the preferred approach of House Speaker Daniel Perez. Governor
Desntas signed amendments to the state Constitution into law. That
bill would make it more and now will make it
more challenging for citizen led proposed amendments to qualify for

the state's ballot and to become law immediately. This means
that anything that was currently in motion to get on
our ballots next year in the midterm elections is now
subject to this. Each person signing a ballot petition must
provide a state issued ID number or the last four
ditches of the Social Security number. The law followed numerous

accusations of improperly collected signatures in recent years. An advance
of the star hurricane season, this is Hurricane Preparedness Week,
Hurricane Center has announced a series of updates for products
and services. By the way, there's a lot of really

Gas prices are still going lower, so you don't need
to be in a rush to get prices good gas
anytime this week. The average price four regular unleaded state
y three eight in the Palm Beaches, where at three
twenty four this morning, Martin right there at the state
average of three to eight Indian River County three eleven
per gallon.

All right, national headlines, and we'll start with Mega make
Alcatraz great again. President Trump says he wants to reopen
the federal penitentiary. He said that Alcatras will house America's
most ruthless and violent offenders. Sits on a small island
a mile off San Francisco, served as a real prison
from thirty four to sixty three and is now a museum.
The president wants to see a one hundred percent tariff

on films produced outside the US. He took the truth
Social guyesterday, announcing he's instructed the Department of Commerce and
US Trade Representative to immediately begin the process of instituting
the tariffs. Intellectual intellectual property like films reportedly cannot have
actual tariffs placed on them, but implementing trade barriers like
laws and film tax credits could happen. Process of selecting

a new pope begins today. The College of Cardinals were
prep for the upcoming papal conclave in Vatican City. It
begins on Wednesday. Candidate will need a two thirds majority
