Speaker 1 (00:01):
Yeah, I've got a lethal left foot strong grab that
from your ninety six their vam's own free metal doker hated.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:11):
Perth Window and Door Replacement Company, give your home and
you lease online with Perth. We know and Door Replacement
Company the number one name in the game to book
your free quote search.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
Perth Window and Door are.
Speaker 3 (00:23):
Not coming, not just coming out of a bye week,
but also the boys are pretty happy because it's a
month at home with a whole lot of home games
in a row. Hayden Young, how are you very good?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
How are you very good?
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Indeed, you're rested. You've had it well, I mean you've
been resting anyway after your surgery. But everyone's rested, had
a bit.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Of a break. Everyone is very arrested a reset. I
think everyone enjoyed a.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
Weekend off and spending some time with family and friends
and just reseating to go again for the second half
of the year.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
So it made a bit different for you in rehab.
You've probably got to keep working now. But to the boys,
how many days do they get where they don't have
to do much or anything.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
Yeah, they've got four days off. So a few people
went homes or family. We played in Goco, so a
few stayed over on the East Coast and enjoyed some
warm weather and then yeah, we were back at training
on Thursday, and then we had a solid session on Saturday,
and then this week's just preparation as per usual.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
You did do a few things during that time. We
saw you visited a school clinic during the break and
we know Pat Voss is a competitive beast field, but
there is a video that would suggest he doesn't hold
back with the kids either.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Oh he's so funny. I don't know how he has
so much energy.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
He had more energy than the kids around playing what
do they call it, King of the pack, and he
didn't let him win. He just was making everything scrabble
with him. He was just yeah, but the kids absolutely
loved it. Yeah, everyone had a smile on their face.
And that's why we love him because he brings so
much energy to work every day, Like he'll be in
(01:52):
at the club at six point thirty in the morning
yelling and screaming and yeah, yeah, getting everyone up and about.
And I'm sure everyone sees that one. And the energy brings,
which is great with.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
A chest like that is killing on the peck deck.
Probably hours before anyone.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
Oh yeah, one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Yeah, unreally, and the I think of the Coburn line.
We've been talking about the thorn Ley Coburn alone. You
guys were involved as well.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
Yeah, we got down it's actually called the Purple line.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Purple lineh is.
Speaker 4 (02:16):
A coincidence, so's yeah, it's going to be great. It's
go straight up the stadium to our fans and come along,
which would be extra important this weekend because it's obviously
North Melbourne's home game, so we want our fans to
make an effort to pack out the stadium and get
as much purple as we can down there. And now
they can get there easily with the new Thornley Comburn line,
so we're very excited about that. But yeah, hopefully we
(02:39):
can get as many people as we can there this weekend.
Speaker 1 (02:42):
All right, we'll bounced down for that is five point
thirty on Saturday evening. It is one of those games
the Rousse sold to the AFL, so it's actually their
home game. But you know, I mean that's just pretty
much just a technicality, isn't it. I Mean, the whole
point is you get to stay home, you don't travel,
and you're playing, you know, in front of lots of
fans of yours.
Speaker 4 (03:00):
Yeah, no, it's a great benefit I suppose that we get.
We get four weeks at home and yeah, no, it's good.
We travel a lot as a team, and sometimes that
can be pretty tiring, and as year wears on, it
can be tough. And yes, particularly in the middle of
the year, it's great to spend four weeks at home
and yeah, spend some time with family and friends and
then reset, and yeah, it's going to be good to
(03:22):
play it up to So although it's not our home,
but hopefully we can get as many fans there as
we can.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
But the reward for the most recent wins and all
of that hard work that's gone and has been just
sitting just inside the eight right now, and it's a
good chance, at a good spot to be spring loading
and loading up and getting ready for the rest of
the year.
Speaker 2 (03:38):
One hundred percent.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
We were a little bit disappointed, I suppose with the
start of our year in terms of our consistency, but
I feel like we've found that and it's coming a
good time and we've certainly got ourselves back in the season.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
But there's still a lot of football to play.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
And yeah, we're pretty focused on this weekend and taking
it one week at a time, and we're really excited
by the opportunity we've got to play North at home
and yes, hopefully you get another win.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Premattal's wearing their popular Stealth Jumpers this weekend, which is
basically all black with a little bit of purpose. It's
my wardrobe.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Actually, it's a very cool jumper.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
It's a very cool jumper. Do you feel, you know,
like when you put on a different jumper, does it
have any bearing on how you feel going out there?
Speaker 2 (04:20):
A little bit?
Speaker 4 (04:21):
Yeah, it's always nice to wear something different. We obviously
wear our home and away a lot. I find wearing
the Indigenous jumpers are always really cool because I've just got
a cool design and there's a different feeling going to
that game. And then the stealth just yeah, it's a
different feeling as well. You I don't know, you feel like,
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Stealthier, stealthish, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:39):
Yeah yeah, And it's a nice it's a nice vibe
and it's always good to play a night game in
the Stealth Jumper too.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Just embrace that darkness.
Speaker 4 (04:47):
So no, I'm I'm flat that I won't be running
out in it, but I came to see the boys
get out there in the stealth and put on a good.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Performance, stealthier and healthier as your injury going. Mate, you'd
be running five faster than four.
Speaker 4 (05:00):
Yeah, faster than forty percent. Now now it's coming along
really nicely. I'm happy with how it's progressing. As you said,
we've had a bit of time off, but I haven't
had much time off out of the gym and on
the track, so I'm pretty sore and I'm working pretty
hard to get back as quick as I can.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
But all things are looking really good.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
So we did get on good authority this week that
you were ahead of schedule.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Yeah, i'd like to think so, but we'll see how
we go. But no, I'm moving moving better than I
was expecting. So we'll keep keep pushing, keep stacking the
sessions and get back as quick as I can.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
Who's getting very excited, very excited? Calmed down on your behalf.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
I need to talk about something serious, mate. Cinnamon scrolls?
Are you a sucker for cinnamon scrolls? I love a
cinnamon scroll You're talking a little loaf south for you.
We're a little life south for very good extra glaze
on top. Thank you.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
But yeah, it's I usually go day after a game
to treat myself. Yeah, I haven't been able to do
that lately. I haven't been playing, so that's what's been
motivating session. I've been thinking about the cinnamon scroll. So
I can we get back out there and enjoy a
cinnamon scroll on my day off.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Yeah, let's just around the corner from my place. And
they say the words. So they asked me the question,
do you want some extra drizzle and torryroll with my drizzle?
Speaker 2 (06:13):
It's a proper cathlic yes, so tasty.
Speaker 1 (06:18):
All right, Well, we hope you're not far away from
a cinnamon scroll. And that means back on the ground
as well. Up to stadium. This Saturday night Bounced Down
is five thirty. We want to get as many people
there as possible. The ruse cut sell out the stadium,
so get onto Ticketmaster tickets are as cheap as thirty
five dollars and enjoy the game.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I shall thank you very much, mate,
